Mention It All - Pizza Party Behavior
Episode Date: December 18, 2024It’s the last Wednesday episode of the year, and Dylan pushes through his Christmas cold to yap about what non-Bravo programming he’s been watching lately. But before getting too off-topic, he ret...urns to the Pump Rules world for some updates on James Kennedy and Tom Sandoval. From there, he talks about what we really lose when shows get rebooted, and why this week’s RHOBH was the perfect reminder of why we keep these women around. After a couple of quick RHONY reactions, he discusses Erika’s therapy session, Sutton’s ill-advised group leader energy, and the epic revival of the Dorit vs. Camille feud. Betches Media presents.
Ha ha, laugh, funny.
Mention It All, a Bravo by Betches podcast.
We don't say that, but now we said it.
With me, Dylan Hafer.
We're going to check me, both.
Hey, everyone.
Welcome back to the Mention It All podcast.
It is Wednesday.
It is our final week of the year here on Mention at All.
And we have, just like every day, it seems like right now,
lots to talk about.
We are going to get into Beverly Hills, of course.
Lots to talk about there.
just like maybe a wee update on Real Housewives of New York because they are in fact still putting out new episodes every week.
We've got some Vanderpump updates going on from the stories we talked about on Monday.
And overall, just chugging right along.
I've picked up a bit of a cold this week.
So if I sound just a wee bit under the weava, I'm sorry about that.
But we're pushing through.
You know, it's this final week of the year before we're decamping for the holidays.
Tonight is the Survivor finale.
I don't know if I've, I don't think I've talked about Survivor at all on the podcast, at least
not this season.
I grew up watching Survivor.
We were a survivor household every, I think it used to be on Thursday nights.
We would sit down and watch it as a family.
I have been in the Survivor Wilderness for the last few years, meaning that I have not been
watching it.
But this season, I have gotten back in, and it has been, believe it or not, season 47 of Survivor, really good.
It has been a chaotic, hectic, entertaining, surprising, funny, compelling season of TV.
Tonight is the finale.
I won't spoil anything.
I don't feel like this is the place to, like, really share all of my Survivor opinions.
But if you're looking for something to maybe sit down with over the holidays,
and you feel like you're caught up on all the Bravo or you need a break from the Bravo.
This season of Survivor, kind of a, kind of a sleigh.
It's doing good.
I'm trying to think what else I've been watching.
Oh, I think I mentioned I was watching Landvan a few weeks ago and then kind of never
brought it up again because truthfully, why would I?
But I posted about it on my Instagram story the other night and lots of people chimed in
that they are also watching Landvan.
I called it the best worst show on TV.
It's really a sight to behold. You kind of got to see it to believe it. But that's on Paramount Plus, if you're looking for something else to fire up. I don't know. There's lots going on. There's lots of movies out. I got to see Baby Girl the other night, the new Nicole Kidman joint. That was a very special night for me because I went to a screening and Nicole Kidman herself was in attendance. And if you know me outside of this,
Bravo Realm. You know that Nicole Kidman is kind of, kind of my one, like, she's the pinnacle for me.
And so being in the presence, feeling the aura, seeing the height, she's a tall woman, that big,
blonde, beautiful head. You know, it was, it was really special for me. But baby girl,
it's out on Christmas. That's a fun one to go see. Lots going on. But let's just dive in.
I don't know why this has turned into my, like, you know, personal viewing update corner.
shall we talk about the Vanderpump Rules, boys?
Because there are updates on both the James Kennedy and Tom Sandoval Front.
And I just, I don't know how much we care, like I talked about on Monday.
What is the sort of timeline on us continuing to care about these people?
But I feel like because I spoke about them on Monday's episode, I should at least continue to, you know, pull on that thread for three days.
We can commit to something for that long.
So in the James and Alley front, of course, you know, we,
We know what happened last week.
If you missed it, Google is free or my episode for Monday is also free.
But I'm not going to rehash all of the details.
Since then, there were some photos that got published of James and Allie carrying like
laundry baskets of stuff like Amazon packages and, you know, miscellaneous household items
out to the car.
And the report on that is that they are still together, but Allie is going to
spend some time with family, going to, you know, sort of take a break, go home for the holidays.
I don't remember exactly where she's from.
But this is the right time of year where if things are not like so hunky-dory in your relationship,
it's like, just go, just go like air out with your family for a couple weeks, you know,
revisit things in January when maybe there will be less, less shopping headaches and, you know,
less holiday cheer clouding the picture.
I don't know.
Again, I hope Allie is doing well.
I also hope that we don't have to keep the paparazzi outside of their house 24-7.
Like, I don't love that.
And I understand it's a business.
I understand how the industry works.
When Scandavall happened, we were getting photos of, you know, Tom taking out the trash and all of that.
But like, let's, I feel like we can be done with that now.
Like, we got our little photos of James looking Haggard.
We can move on.
But yesterday on Tuesday, James also did post a statement on his Instagram, and this is, I would say,
a marked improvement from the lawyer statement last week about nobody getting injured.
But again, it's not my apology to accept.
But this is what he said.
He said, I am committed to making meaningful changes in my life.
I'm taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth, and being present for my loved ones.
Navigating challenging moments is not easy, but I am determined to learn, grow,
and move forward with the incredible support system around me.
Now, obviously, this is pretty vague, pretty, you know,
you know, it's putting a nice little gloss over whatever's happening.
But hey, you got to start somewhere.
And I actually think that I am glad that this statement is not super,
super detailed or super oriented toward Ali.
Because I think the thing with this is that Ali posted saying she wants her privacy.
see. And so then if James posts a statement that's like, oh, Ellie, I love you so much,
and you're the path for girl, and please don't leave me and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah,
blah. That's what he should be doing inside the house. That's what he should be doing, you know,
when they're having a face-to-face conversation. We don't need to see that on Instagram.
And frankly, I don't think that would be helping anything. Like, also, I don't know if she wants
to be, like, begged or pleaded to whatever. So this statement, whatever. It's definitely better
than what we had heard from his lawyers.
And honestly, I kind of hope they just go away for a bit.
Because this is the kind of situation where there is some kernel of darkness there,
obviously.
If the police are being called and there's a domestic violence arrest being made,
like things aren't going great, no matter the specifics, no matter the severity.
So I really hope that they can sort of just step away and work on whatever needs to be worked on.
As for Tom Sandval and his girlfriend, Victoria, I don't know, I don't know if my Instagram was broken.
On Monday, I said that it seemed like she had deactivated her account.
And then later when I went to look, when she had posted another statement, so she is private on Instagram, which I didn't realize.
And so I can't see what she posts, but not because she's blocked me.
though, you know, I wouldn't rule that out in the future.
But I was able to get this updated statement that she posted on her story, I think, via page six.
So thank you.
Somebody at page six for following Victoria Lee Robinson and screenshoting so we can all reap the benefits.
Because let's be honest, who the fuck wants to follow this girlie?
But so she posted after saying, you know, he likes the best friends, you can't trust him, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
This is what she said.
I would like to sincerely apologize for my previous post.
I had a true misjudgment in a situation.
Tom did not do anything.
From my own personal trauma and experiences hearing false accusations about him all the time,
clouded my judgment and got the best of me.
Please respect him and know he's actually been the most supportive partner.
The internet can be harsh sometimes and I'm learning how to block out the noise.
He can take the phone out of her hands and press post to make sure that it actually goes live.
Look.
I hope for her sake that she's telling the truth and that he didn't do anything because nobody
deserves to get cheated on with their best friend.
The whole thing is just a little bit silly to me.
It's like, false accusations about him all the time, got the best of me.
He's been the most supportive.
But then the end, when she says the internet can be harsh sometimes, and I'm learning how to block out the noise, it's like,
mama, I'm going to hold your hand when I say this.
you created the noise.
Not necessarily like all of the noise that's ever happened,
but like on this day when you posted the story saying that he likes the best friends
and that everybody was right,
you turned on the radio.
Because let me tell you what I wasn't doing before I saw that on Monday.
I was not thinking at all about whether Tom Sandoval was going to fuck Victoria Lee Robinson's
best friend because I don't know who Victoria Lee Robinson is. I don't know who her best friend is.
I know that none of them are going to be on TV, Tom included, because he's no longer on Vanderpump
rules. These people aren't famous to me. These people aren't relevant to me. I don't think about
them. And so, I mean, I'm sure there are like, you know, those creatures of WeHo who are out
there trying to plant seeds and pretend they're on reality TV when they're not even getting a check.
But like, none of us, and I believe everybody listening to this podcast, you guys have jobs.
And if you don't have a job right now, if that's not your choice, I hope that you find a job soon.
If it is your choice, lucky you.
But even if you don't have a job and you're listening to this, I feel strongly that my listeners and that our community, we have the spirit of a job.
And what I mean by that is that we, no matter how busy on paper we are, we do not have the time to be out here creating noise about Victoria Lee Robinson.
Can we just agree on that? Like, I'm going to be out here, you know, type, type, typing my little thoughts about Camille and Derreet and we'll get to that in a minute. I might be, I might be talking about, you know, little Becky Minkoff.
I might be talking about, you know, I can talk about whatever I want.
But you are never going to get me to be out here like spreading rumors about who Tom Sandoval is fucking in December of 2024.
And if that is you, if you're listening to this, which I don't think you are, because again, spirit of a job, we all got it.
But if this reaches you.
And you're one of those people who's out here being harsh and creating the noise that Victoria has.
to block out, please get a life. I promise you there is something better out there than caring
about this. And maybe it seems like I haven't found it, but let me tell you, I get paid to do this.
This is my job. And once I put this microphone away, once I slam my laptop shut, I'm going home
for the holidays, and I will not think about these people. I might put on an episode of Real House
House House of Salt Lake City in front of my sweet mother who doesn't watch
Bravo and try and explain to who those people are. But those people are important. These people,
not important. And I don't mean like their lives don't matter. I mean like, who cares,
truly? Victoria and Tom still together as far as we know. I would not want to be inside of that
house right now. Just like imagine like the bad vibes mixed with like the old takeout containers
just like and like it probably smells like pre-workout in there. And like, it probably smells like pre-workout in there.
like male rage.
Like Kyle Chan is coming over every 30 minutes with Billy Lee to like sit in the pool.
They're having cocktails in the pool at like 10 a.m.
You wake up.
You're like, who's out there?
And it's like, oh, it's Billy Lee.
Just the worst vibes possible.
And we're never going to have to see it on Vanderpump Rules again.
Yay.
So good, so good.

Pivoting into our more actual Bravo-focused side of this conversation,
This week's episode of Beverly Hills to me, I really enjoyed it.
As I have every episode of this season so far, I think there's a lot of good stuff going on.
I think that there are some compelling storylines, and there are some fun surprises.
And Camille, Donatachi, Grammer Meyer, popping back in at Kyle's inaugural denim and diamonds party,
the first party that she's ever thrown without Mauricio,
Congratulations. You did it. This to me, I'm glad that this is paired with New York because
Camille popping back in and being there for like 10 minutes and first of all, comparing her
divorce with Kelsey Grammer to Kyle and Maricio's situation, chef's kiss, Kyle being like,
but wait, mid-like, we're not the same. And then the epic rehash of,
see you next Tuesday gate at the end of the episode with Doreet.
When I watched New York and then I watched Beverly Hills, I was really struck by the idea that
when you reboot a franchise, when you clean house, like they're doing with Vanderpump
rules like they did with New York, you might be getting rid of some toxicity.
You might be clearing the way for something new and exciting that we don't know yet.
those are real possibilities.
But what you are certainly doing, what you know for a fact is happening when you do that,
is that you are taking away the chance for these long simmering years in the past moments
to sort of come back around and create new layers, new levels of lore, new, you know,
we're unlocking new, new challenges here.
And when they can flash back to something that happened with Camille and Doreet in 2017,
that I think even at the time, I think it's always been an underrated moment.
Derreet with that stupid bandana on her head, yelling across the table, Camille!
I'm going to try really hard not to say the C word on this episode, because I know that some people
don't like that.
It's going to be a challenge.
We're going to do it.
We're going to make it.
but that moment has always been a favorite for me because it was so out of left field, so out of pocket
and so aggressive. And I love when Doreet gets aggressive. It makes me, it tingles something inside of me.
But when you reboot a show, there's no flashback to 2017. And this is something, you know,
the middling amount that I've talked about in New York this season, I think that this has come up a few times,
that part of what makes these shows so fun to watch and so fun to specifically to keep up with year after year
is the way that things sort of start to like fold in on themselves a little bit and the way that we can
reference things that have happened years in the past and we can they can roll the footage on
something that somebody said years ago or even just last season or you know maybe there's a friend
of that pops back in like Camille or maybe there's you know you.
You know, with Salt Lake City, I feel like we're starting to get to this point where we have been on the journey with these women.
And they're on season five.
It has to be earned.
It has to be cultivated.
It has to be developed.
It has to evolve sort of, I don't want to say naturally because none of these situations are technically natural.
Like all of this is produced.
But the time and the effort have to be there.
and watching that moment on Beverly Hills when Camille and Doreet were yelling at each other
across the table, I'm like, that's the kind of thing that we are probably never going to get on Roney
again.
Because they're in season two, and I think we can all agree that it's not super working.
And even this season, there have been so many times when they've tried to, like I've said,
play the hits and do these callbacks to things that have happened before and, oh,
sigh is so hungry and, oh, Aaron's hosting again.
and everybody's going to complain.
And, oh, Jenna's getting lingerie.
Remember when Jessel didn't like it?
And, oh, is Tribeca there now?
What's the story?
And it just feels like when you juxtapose two shows that have taken such different tracks,
I really know which one I'd rather have.
And this is not to say, this is not a rehash of old Roney versus New Roney.
Because I don't think that's that interesting.
I don't think it's helpful.
And we've all talked about how Roney wasn't exactly working.
And maybe what they did with the reboot didn't work either.
But like it's not necessarily like a clear cut.
If they had done this, it would have been better.
I just think that as we're thinking about what to do with some of our other franchises,
we should be really careful.
Because Vanderpump rules were never again going to be able to bring Kristen back
for an episode and be like, oh, remember when Kristen slapped Stasi in 2013?
Now we're going to flash to it and then we're going to talk about it 10 years later.
The chance that a rebooted show is ever going to kind of grow to that level, I'm not going to
say, I won't say that could never happen.
You know, sometimes you're going to have your DeGrasi the next generation that eclipses
the original.
But is it likely?
Is it common?
I don't think it is.
Yeah, in New York this week, they're in Puerto Rico still.
I did really love seeing Raquel reconnect with her mother, who she hasn't seen in several years.
Actually, since she went down to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, which Jessel is unaware of, which is not shocking.
Let's just be...
Let's keep it 100.
Did we think Jessel was going to know what Hurricane Maria was?
To her credit, they do...
I think they just say Maria.
And so, like, it could, they could be talking about a woman.
I don't know.
That was lovely.
And I think, honestly, I have really enjoyed Raquel this season.
And I think getting to know her has been really nice.
And I think that she is a fascinating woman.
And I think she seems really cool.
I think I've said this before, though.
I don't know that she's really bringing real housewife energy.
And we're now, what, 13 episodes?
into the season, something like that.
Has she been involved in any kind of drama or conflict or disagreement or mess?
Or if she has, I'm struggling to remember it.
And I think that that is something where not everybody is going to approach the assignment
of housewives the same way.
But I think that it does kind of feel like she is skipping a question on the test.
that she's checking a lot of boxes, but if there are five essay questions and you leave one of them blank,
you're still not going to get a good grade. And so I don't know. I mean, I think if this season maybe
had more meat on the bones in other areas, maybe it wouldn't be as noticeable, but I am kind of like,
Raquel, I really like you, but you're a little boring. Not boring in the life sense,
but boring in the house wifery sense. I don't know. And then, you know, Rebels.
I'm going off and Bryn sort of like calling a truce. Truly, who cares? I don't think that
Bryn respects Rebecca, which, to be honest, neither do I, because Scientology is fucking
crazy and she's been weird about it and also whatever. But like, that's not really what we're
here for. And then what's the other drama in the episode? That Aaron is showing
Brandon Jenna
Abe's dick pick on her phone
when they're out in public
and then that becomes the whole thing
that gets brought back to the table
I just
first of all
I think that's bizarre
I think that
actually
if these were gay men
I don't know
I guess I won't judge Aaron
for choosing to
choosing to share
I just, I think it's more like, what are we doing here?
That's more the question.
And I don't think that they have an answer at this point.
And so let's just keep it pushing and talk about Beverly Hills.

We are back from Oceanside,
and we start with a little, you know,
one of my favorite housewives production tropes,
which is that we have two small group meetings
that are seemingly happening at the same time.
And I would venture to guess
that these meetings are almost never happening at the same time,
but through the magic of editing,
it appears that they are.
And this is, we have Kyle and Sutton going to Jennifer Tilly's
playhouse specifically because of course she tells us that she owns two houses in Bel Air right next to
each other and one is her playhouse. Nobody is doing it like her. She also has a house in Malibu
that she doesn't go to because there's a ghost that doesn't like her to be there and a place in Vegas.
I love all of this for her. And then we also have Erica going over to Derreitz and basically this is
their chance to talk shit about each other. Sutton of course is not a huge fan of Derreet
after what happened in Oceanside, and I would say vice versa.
Erica going over to DeReed's, first of all, Jagger is like so grown.
He's like, it's 136, mommy, I have to leave for tennis.
Oh, my God, that's a little, that's a little man child.
He's so adorable.
And then to read, I mean, it was like, I made us some water.
Mama, that's like lemons and cucumber in a, in a jug.
These women just give me a kick.
But Derreet is talking about how Sutton leading the crusade of sisterhood and honesty felt hypocritical,
which I don't super disagree.
Meanwhile, over at Jennifer's, Kyle says that she felt lighter after her fight with Derreet in Oceanside
and that they got out a lot of what they needed to.
And Sutton is like, well, I'm glad you feel better.
Because I'll feel like, I'll feel like, Dorit, DeRite's missing the point.
she kept trying to make about daddy and Sutton
Sutton is really um she's sticking with this idea that she's trying to repair this dynamic
amazing group of women that she says has unraveled and that she just wants them to realize
they can express their feelings openly and i don't really know where Sutton is like finding
this energy of feeling like the group has unraveled now
because I feel like the thing with Housewives and the thing with this cast specifically,
I'm like, isn't the group sort of like permanently in a state of unraveledness?
The thing about doing a Housewives show is that because it's not a real group of friends,
there's always drama going on.
There's never a time when everybody likes each other.
Like, was the group not unraveling two years ago when Erica was yelling at Sutton every time they hung out?
Was the group not unraveling when Lisa Vanderpump, you know, turned her back on Kyle and Teddy
and Dorete like five years ago? I just feel like this group is, it's not a particularly
raveled group, if that's a word. I don't think it is, but I feel like it is. I feel like
it makes sense. But I do love seeing Sutton help Garcel move furniture into her beach house.
Garcel, you know, say what you will about Garcel on the show off the show off.
the show, she has made this shit happen for herself and her getting appreciation from her kids
and doing this as a single mom. I love to see it. It's, you know, it's nice, but there,
this is another chance to talk shit about Derreit. Something is really like, for her claiming
that the group has unraveled, I feel like she's kind of going on her whistle stop tour of like,
let's unraveled Derreet just a little bit more. Because she, she and, you know, Garcell are sitting out here
on the balcony and she's like, well, you know with Doreet, she's making her life harder with all her
friends, not getting along, and she's going to lose her friends. And then the other shoe is going to drop.
Something with P.K., something with finance. And look, this has always been, almost as long as Dorete has been
on the show, there has been this sort of permanent, you know, hazy cloud of like,
is there a bankruptcy? Is there a lawsuit? Is there an affair? Is there a scandal? And we know now it feels
like the separation is the first time that we've really, there's been like a crack that they have
acknowledged. And so I don't necessarily disagree with the idea that the other shoe is
going to drop in some way. But I also, it's clear that Sutton doesn't know what that is.
And then Garsell brings up the robbery again. I don't like,
like, are we really?
She doesn't think that Dorete was in on it, but she thinks that someone had something to do with
it, and the Doreet was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
So I'm like, wait, is she, does she mean that, like, P.K. orchestrated the robbery, and he
didn't know that Doret was going to be home?
Or, like, even worse, did P.K. orchestrate the robbery, and Doret was just, like, a pawn?
or is there a third party that's involved with this? First of all, I don't know why Garcel sort of insists
on continuing to bring this up because I just think it's never going to end well for her
if she doesn't have concrete information. But also, what is she saying? If there's no information
at a certain point, that happened, what, two, three years ago? Let the mouse go.
I'm not sitting here losing sleep over Doreet's Robbie.
robbery. And I think there are people who really had the tinfoil hats on about it, Garcel maybe
being one of them. But like, I don't think the average viewer of this show is like, oh, I'd still like
to get to the bottom of Doreet's armed home invasion. It's been years. We have other stuff to talk about.
Like Erica, with her therapist. So she brings the therapist to the house. I love that the therapist
does house calls. That's very chic. And she's like, I just, I want this house to be a sanctuary where I can
be surrounded by peace, tranquility, and glamour.
Got to have glamour.
And the therapist is like, yes, bitch, that's what I want for you.
Manifesting glamour.
It is interesting the way that Erica talks about this house and how it was so miserable when she moved in.
And, you know, I get that.
She was going through a lot.
But also, like, it's not a shoebox apartment.
She didn't move into like her friend's guest house that she got to stay in for free.
Like this is a nice home with a pool in the backyard and I think like three bedrooms.
She's doing fine.
So if you want to give if you want to give it a little facelift, if you want to do some new furniture,
like you're not living in squalor.
You're living in a place that you don't love, which is not nothing.
But it is kind of funny.
But she's talking with her therapist about Sutton and what happened in Oceanside and pointing out that Sutton has an inconsistent personality, which she acknowledges that so does she.
But I like this idea of what she's talking about with being frustrated about some of this conversation over Kyle and Dorit's separations.
And she feels like everybody's so worried about them.
and that I wasn't given a pizza party when my divorce happened.
And the way the therapist sort of frames this for her, I think, is so spot on that she's like,
yes, you were painted out as the villain in that situation by the world, but you played into that.
You played the villain.
You did the villain behavior.
And she says, that's not pizza party behavior.
popping pills and drinking too much and yelling at people and latching out.
So maybe now that you're turning this new leaf, maybe you'll invite people to over your house.
Maybe that's your pizza party.
Whatever happened to pizza parties?
Do you remember when you were in elementary school?
I feel like we talked about pizza parties more than we ever had them.
But it was like, oh, like if the class gets this many stickers on the board by the end of the month, you get a pizza party.
Where's my pizza party?
Not for my divorce, just for, just for living life.
I want a pizza party.
But the party we do get is Kyle's denim and diamonds,
with a miniature horse jumping out of a PT cruiser with flame decals all over it.
First of all, I feel like having a miniature horse on Beverly Hills is just a little bit too Lisa Vanderpump coded.
Like, no disrespect, you're not ugly pee.
Why do you need a miniature horse?
to each their own, but it's just my thought.
So like I said, Camille is at this party, and really, the party itself is not that exciting
until Doreet and Camille start going at it.
You know, Garcel is filling Sutton in on her chit chat with Kyle, and this is that she told
me that P.K. Texas her, like the state of, it sounds like she's saying the state of Texas.
Garcel says that Kyle said that Doreet knows that they talk. I would be curious to hear Doreet's
version of this, because I don't feel confident that they are on the exact same page as much
as Kyle wants to think they are. I feel like we're putting a pin in that a little bit.
And then Doreet and Erica talk to Bose about the Sutton situation. And Bose is basically like,
well, if this bitch is saying that we should be able to talk about everything in front of everybody,
call the tribal council. You see, it all comes back to Survivor. Boz is like, I don't think
it's actually realistic that we talk about everything in front of the group. You know, that doesn't
seem to particularly go well in my five episodes of experience with this group. But if Sutton says
that's what she wants, let's give it a try. So Bowes calls a tribal council. She's really giving
Jeff Probst energy in all the ways you wouldn't expect. And this is where Sutton says that she really
meant the sisterhood stuff. And Erica's like, give me a break. And Erica says that Sutton is volatile,
which even Jennifer Tilly has to agree with.
And then Derreet says that Sutton overreacts when she's stressed.
And then Sutton starts to overreact because she's stressed, which, you know, right on time.
And then Derreet gets activated because Sutton says that Derreet is angry at her life.
Not at her.
Meet Sutton's truck, the woman who supports other women.
It's tough.
And even look, Doreet.
Doreet is going through it. And she says, look, my life sucks right now. I'm not in a good place.
I have shit to work out. But because of that, especially because of that, I have to be in a
place of zero tolerance for bullshit. And good for her. And Boe says that Sutton was weaponizing
Doreet's marital problems, which I kind of agree with. And I think that this is something I,
I've always enjoyed Sutton on the show, but I do think that she has these tendencies that
she puts her foot in her mouth, she, she says things that she doesn't abide by, and she kind of,
she talks a big game in terms of how things should be handled and who should say what and everybody
should be honest. But it's like, Sutton is not that good at interpersonal communication.
She just isn't. She always fumbles the bag in situations like this or says the wrong thing.
And, you know, I'm thankful as a viewer. But it's not great.
Meanwhile, Camille Butts in.
Camille, with a little bit of like Britney Bateman from Salt Lake City Energy, she's like, hi, everyone.
By the way, years ago, my house burned down.
And I didn't get so much compassion and empathy.
No pizza party.
Specifically from Doreen.
And I do love this redirect from Camille because I got to be honest, I was going to be a little
annoyed if this episode turned out to just be like another argument spiral of Doreet.
and Sutton because I already feel like that's a little bit, it's only been like two episodes,
but I'm starting to feel a little bit worn out from that. And Camille redirecting the focus to
herself and Doreet is just kind of expert shit. And she's somebody who like, I don't want Camille to be
a housewife again, but I think that these little pop-ins are so perfect for her. And Dorete right off
the bat says, you didn't get compassion, empathy because you were a total C-word to me. And
And like I said, this is one of my favorite moments.
And everybody's like, wait, we're going straight for that.
Okay, great.
And Dereet says that she used to regret saying it, but now she doesn't because she thinks
Camille is a stupid fucking C word.
This is just, this is theater at this point.
You know, Camille is yelling.
Doreet is fake yawning while Camille is yelling.
Camille is forgetting Erica's name.
She's like when, she's like when I was, when I was with her,
She's like, Erica.
Yeah, thank you.
Great.
Just, just chef's kiss.
You love when Camille steps in and just notches it up.
Great stuff.
And then we end with one more dig between Sutton and Durit.
When Sutton says that, you know, like I said before, I'm here if you need me.
And Durit says, well, actions speak louder than words, Sutton.
And Sutton just says, your actions too, honey.
Woo!
It's a little spicy.
It's a little spicy.
I don't think that Beverly Hills is quite as lit as Salt Lake City this season,
but they're giving us a lot to talk about, and I'm not mad about it.
It will be a couple weeks before we are dipping back into Beverly Hills.
I believe they're taking next week off anyway, so you're not going to miss much.
But I can't wait to be back talking about Beverly Hills in the new year.
We've got a lot more season to go, and we will do it in 2025.
But we will be back tomorrow with one last episode for the year.
Can't wait to be back talking about some of the best things of the year.
And, of course, you know, other stuff along with it.
But thank you so much for listening.
