Betches Media presents.
Ha ha, laugh, funny.
Mention It All, a Bravo by Betches podcast.
We don't say that, but now we said it.
With me, Dylan Hafer.
We're going to check me, though.
Hey, everyone.
Welcome back to the Mention at All podcast.
I am so excited to be joined today by two of my friends,
fellow Bravo podcasters,
fellow now watch what happens live,
bartenders.
It is Emily and Lauren from Access Hollywood's
Housewives Nightcap podcast.
Hello, welcome.
Hello, thank you for having us.
Thank you for having us.
Before we started rolling, we were just saying how cool this studio is and this vibe.
The vibes, 10 out of 10.
I'm glad you feel comfortable.
We were doing a little swap this week.
I came on your show earlier this week, which also like not a not cool setting.
We were in a studio at 30 Rock with like full lights and everything.
It's way cooler.
That was like traditional TV boring blah, blah, blah, blah, where this is, I feel young.
It's true.
That's like old school corporate America.
You guys are like new and cool and hip, Gen Z vibes.
Like we actually were talking about how we felt like we were going to like be lit on fire walking in here because we're so old.
Please.
I feel like you're like almost the same age.
Lauren is not even 30.
Yeah, I think we are.
But, you know, for me, it's like I just feel a little old to be here.
You're literally young 30s.
To be honest, my whole life mission is I just want to be considered a cool.
girl. Like that is my whole life mission. I just want to be edgy and cool. So, you know, I'm just doing
whatever I can to reverse the clock. You sound like you're like auditioning to be on Summerhouse.
No, I can't even tell you. We're sending this to Bravo later. This is my whole life mission.
It's all I want in life ever. Well, you've had a cool week. You were on Watch What Happens Live.
True. Oh, snap. The last time I saw you guys was the day of, but before it had happened.
So now it happened. You were on with Caroline Brooks and Tracy Tudor. We've we've had a very very Caroline Brooksie
week because both of us interviewed her on Tuesday and then you were with her in the clubhouse on Tuesday night.
How was bartending?
You were there on the actual 15th anniversary day, which is really cool.
Which was really cool.
And Emily had the greatest idea, like two hours ahead of us going there.
We figured out it was the day.
It was the 15th anniversary.
And Emily's like, we should bring Andy a cake.
And then we called her publicist and she was like, wait, we should make this a whole thing.
and then translated into it worked yeah sometimes good ideas work no I also no but I actually I tell
everyone this and I think it's a really smart idea anytime I get booked on something I've never done
before or anytime I I work with new producers on it at a different show or something I always bring
something because it doesn't need to be a lot of money but advice to anyone young listening like
a Starbucks gift card for $10 just to say thank you so much for working with me it goes a long way
goes a long way.
But with Andy,
we need to go grand.
Yeah,
we were like,
we're not giving this man
a Starbucks gift card.
We could not do that.
So we got him a massive
magnolia bakery cake.
Yes.
And then we were in
the green room lighting it.
We were blowing it out
because we were laughing
so hard.
And then he comes in
and I tell him to blow a wish.
That was Lauren language,
as my parents called it.
I don't think anyone's going to understand that.
What's wrong with blowing a wish?
I would say that.
It was supposed to make a wish.
But I was like, blow a wish.
I would say blow a wish.
It's kind of sexy.
Yeah, Andy likes that.
I mean, we did look like Vegas show girls.
We have this problem when we get ready for, like, so we've hosted BravoCon panels.
And when we do something together and it's like a big moment for us, we have this problem where we try so hard to look good that it's like we just flop every time.
It's not true.
It goes back to Emily thinking, like saying that we try so hard to be.
cool, but then I think in my core, I'm just a chuggy little bit. That's true. That's accurate. No, but we both are.
We're just kind of like not, we're not naturally cool. I think the hard thing though, when you're at like
events and stuff and we're like, this is so like, I don't know if this is relatable to a single person
listening, but it's like, it's really hard to know what the vibe is before you're at the place.
Last month, I went to the 15th anniversary. Watch what happens live party. And there's no dress code on
the invite, of course. It was fancy. No, it was less.
fancy that I was expecting. And it was like a 90 degree day. I'm like, God, am I going to be a schmuck
if I'm not wearing like a blazer or like if I don't, if I'm not like at a certain, like, it's
just very hard to know and you don't always know like who you're going to know there. So
how to text to like get ready. So how to go? What did I wear? Just like a button down and like pants.
That's nice. I was just like very appropriate level. Yeah. I felt fine. It was like,
I was like hot, but whatever. But it's just, it's tough. Like when you're when you're like going somewhere and it's
Like, are people going to be in like, fucking Bravo Glam or like.
Yeah.
Well, do you remember after BravoCon last year, there was like a New York Times article
about how bad all their looks were?
I think to be honest, we were aligned with everyone because we all tried way too hard.
I think it was New York Times.
It might have been the post.
I was supposed to say there's no way the New York Times.
No, no, no, no.
Someone wrote up like an article about how bad the fashion was at BravoCon across the board.
BravoCon is tricky because I feel like, like for the fans.
going, it's like wear whatever you want.
If you have any problem, like literally anything goes.
There are people in costumes.
I love that.
But like for the Bravo Lebs, it's like every, it's like the VMAs three days in a row.
But like are you, who are you at the VMAs?
Who are you?
Like Danielle Capral is Britney Spears at the VMAs.
A hundred and ten percent.
Yeah.
I don't know.
It's, it's tough.
But speaking of glam, I want to talk about OC a little bit.
We're a couple episodes in.
I know, Lauren, you've seen the new episode.
Jen's glam was called into question by Gina.
Which, good for Gina.
Because, okay, so let's set the scene.
Last week on the premiere, we find out that Jen was put,
Gina helped Jen get into this new house that she was leasing.
Yes.
Jen's ex was supposed to be paying some amount of the rent.
The rent.
We find out this week that Jen's parents were co-signers on this lease, which is crazy.
Crazy.
She's 46.
She's 46.
Can I just tell you like that is my biggest nightmare?
Yeah.
Like that is my worst nightmare.
Well, it's, yeah, it's tough.
But then, so she has now gotten evicted from this apartment house, whatever, because
Can't pay the rent.
X stopped paying because he's no longer employed by her parents, which is a whole other.
There's so many layers to this.
So now she has moved in with the kids, with Ryan.
Which has a really nice house.
He does.
Well, this, we're going to come up later in the season.
Ryan's money situation because this week somebody Katie the new housewife is like oh Jen what does
Ryan do for work and he's like she's like right now nothing he just like lives his best life
he plays around he's like just like having a fun time just like his life is charmed and it's like
well yeah he's apparently like there's an alleged scandal he's allegedly a scam artist yes
the FBI is watching this footage being like what what does he do for work now but then so Jen and Gina have
this coffee situation at the end of the episode.
Jen shows up in hair and makeup and Gina's like, so I'm sitting here and I'm like, you're
showing up with professional hair and makeup, nice new clothes, while you get evicted from the
house, you're ruining my career.
What do you think, Lauren, about Gina's kind of narrative of how Jen is impacting her real
estate career?
Do you think she's like blowing that out of proportion?
Okay.
I think, actually, no, I feel like because Gina is.
still so early in her real estate career. I mean, my mom was a real estate agent, so I get it.
It's all about reputation. All about it. So when she vouched for Jen and then now she was then
evicted, that Orange County is a small bubble. As Heather DeBrow told me last week, it's a small
bubble. World will get around where renters are not going to want to use or landlords are not
going to want to use Gina's clients because maybe though all of them will get evicted.
Like it's not a good reputation.
I do also agree with Gina.
I'm sorry.
If you have money problems, I get you are family in the real housewives of Orange County,
but like maybe not spend how much on glam.
Like glam is not cheap.
Yeah.
And I think there's a difference between if it was like a big fancy party or like reunion finale,
even BravoCon.
But it's like this is a-
Learn how to do your makeup.
This is a one-on-one scene.
You could show up in a baseball cap and, like, some lashes.
And that would be acceptable.
I will have to give Jen a little credit for that dig to Gina about the hair.
Just because my life is falling apart doesn't mean my hair has to fall apart like yours did.
Poor Gina.
She's never going to live that down.
Never going to live that.
But look at the growth.
Look at the growth.
Yeah.
But it's interesting.
I do.
Okay.
So I actually am interviewing Jen right after this.
Okay.
And I have to mention that Ryan is.
coming. So it's like, but he's, I'm not allowed to talk to him, but. No, you're allowed to talk to him.
I'm not allowed to talk to him on, yes, he's not doing an interview. I find it interesting. I've had some of
those. That he's going to be in the room and I'm going to be asking and I'm going to ask about this, the alleged
scandal and you know why she's standing by him. And I'm like, the man's going to be in the corner,
just looking at me. It's always, it's always so interesting to me. This is like, peek behind the curtain,
I guess, like who they bring with them when they do press.
Yeah.
And like sometimes they're in the room.
Sometimes they're not.
Like I remember Larsa and Lisa came here together a couple years ago.
And because our studio only has like so many places to sit, they brought, they had Jody and Marcus Jordan with them.
And they had to sit in another room while we were recording.
That's so awkward.
They were just like, hello, Marcus.
This was also before they were like out when they were just friends.
Oh, the friends.
Yeah.
So I'm like, hey, like, nice to see.
Are they back together?
I don't know that we know.
We don't know.
We don't know.
And I think the public lost interest, to be honest with you.
I think we're over it.
I'm over it.
I don't care.
Do you guys care?
Larsa just turned 50.
She had her big birthday bash.
She has a cell phone light now.
That's her latest business, the Larsa Light.
Oh, my gosh.
Listen, you got to give these women credit.
Keep it moving.
Apparently, I still care because I know what she's up to.
Honestly, I give them credit.
Good for them.
I'm just surprised that Miami's not
filming right now because there's so much
going on. So much going on. Alexia's
like finding my light in Paris right now. I'm like
find a camera. Wait, did you guys see that she tagged
Todd in one of her
photos on her vacation?
And so when she was asked
about it, she was like, this is just
a place that we like to go or this is like a food he likes to eat. So I
tagged him. That doesn't mean he's with me.
I don't think they're getting a divorce.
Alexia has very
unconventional ways of
speaking about things.
That's true, that's true.
The receipt is in her head.
It's like Teresa.
That's why they're friends.
They have a very similar way of communicating.
So good, so good.

It's time for a little in-person spring treat.
It's time for a trip to Ross.
Work your magic.
I want to, it's steering back to O'S.
Dylan, you have to know we get off track so much, so I'm so sorry.
No, it's good.
We have a lot to talk about.
But O.C., Shannon and Alexis.
Jesus Jugs.
This whole blow up at Heather's party at the Belboa Pay Club where she's taking a place for
the season.
Like, Heather, I'm so confused by that too.
I'm so confused by that too, but they do this.
So they have their big moment out on the like veranda, whatever.
And then they come back inside and there's this like question booth that looks like those
twisters things that they have at the movie theater.
And Alexis's question is like, what is your intention for the season?
And she's like, I want to be friends with Shannon Padour.
And I don't want to have any animosity.
No, you don't.
I think she's lying.
No, of course.
First, you don't want to be friends with your boyfriend's ex.
Why would anyone want to be friends with their boyfriend's ex?
Especially Shannon.
Especially Shannon.
Like you don't want to be friends because they had a very, clearly Shannon and Johnny Jay had a very contentious relationship.
It was not, it was not rainbows and butterflies.
So we know, and also didn't he sue her for the facelift money?
Well, yeah, but we don't know that yet.
This is still.
Right.
But I'm saying, like, clearly this relationship was not good.
So you don't want to be friends with your man's axe, especially.
when they didn't have a good relationship.
Yeah, and Shannon clearly, I mean, she just brought up in the first episode the lawsuit
that Alexis's ex had against her.
So she's not over that either.
I just don't see.
To be honest, that's the craziest.
The fact that he won, they had to pay him a lot of money.
Yeah, Shannon lost, as she kept saying in that first episode,
and Tamara.
$300,000.
It's never going to be over for her.
No, it's never good.
It wouldn't be over for me either.
Yeah, totally.
I think Alexis is coming in.
She's going to play the game.
I mean, the way that like this is being set up for her to just like kind of become,
not the star of the show, but she's going to, as a friend of, she's going to get a lot of screen time.
Yeah.
I think it was smart though.
On the second episode, we get the conclusion of Heather's party.
But then I think Alexis is not in the rest of the episode, if I recall.
No, she's not.
So I like that they kind of gave us this first.
big like reintroduction.
We get the, we get the like confrontation with her and Shannon.
But then it's like, oh, reminder, we have all this other stuff happening.
Right.
Because I think that's like, to me, that's the biggest strength of OC going into this season is that, yes, the Shannon and Alexis thing is like must see TV.
But also everything that's happening with Jen and her real estate situation and then what's going to happen with Ryan later in the season.
I can't wait to see that.
Gina also is in a tricky spot with her relationship, with her housing situation.
I'm so confused by that.
And I actually listened to one of your episodes where you're talking about it and you were like,
how is this not a breakup?
Yeah.
I'm very confused by it.
Well, in the preview for, so like we don't really talk about that much in episode two,
but in the preview, there's another moment of Travis being like, don't say that it's
about the kids.
You're making this decision.
And it's like, yeah, like.
It's very strange.
I think she just can't pull the plug.
So she's doing it this way to try to kind of like slowly dissolve the relationship.
But then the ex-wife, I just don't understand that dynamic.
I have to say that made me really sad to think that an ex-wife could wreak so much havoc on your life
that your current partner doesn't want to be with you.
Yeah.
And then we also like Tamara and Shannon, they're like no longer friends.
And I feel like we've just just started to scratch the surface of that.
Because then at the, when Shannon storms off at Heather's party,
Tamara goes to like find her in the hallway
sort of under the guise of like
checking if she's okay but then immediately
they're just like
you're a bad person no you're a bad person
it's about your ego no you're evil
and it's like wait wait wait wait sorry
like they are at an 11 out of 10
and I feel like we haven't actually
dug into that yet
because Tamara is saying the big thing is like
she feels for Shannon
she just doesn't want to be she doesn't want to see
Shannon drink and that's why she's like
pulling away yeah but I'm
like, there has to be more to it.
Because Tamara, if that's really the case, then why aren't you really sitting Shannon down
looking at her and saying, girl, we need to get you help.
I'm going to stand by you through all of this.
Not then bring the drama into it.
And then Shannon brought up how she was commenting on Alexis Post and all that text exchange.
I love Tamara, like one of my top housewives.
She, because she knows how to stir the pot.
She knows how to keep the storyline going.
Will we see Shannon and Tamara come to a resolution this season?
I don't think so, but maybe at a reunion.
And then it's a cycle.
It's a cycle between the two of them.
With the scene with Tamara and Eddie, this episode when she's like kind of on the verge of tears being like, I'm just so upset because Shannon's lying about her recovery or, you know, what decisions she's making.
I'm like, do you actually care that much about her on a personal level?
because if so, your other actions don't really like reflect that.
And I agree.
I think like it's obvious they're still not in a good place like in real time right now.
But I think like come reunion time, I could definitely see, you know, the the wheel coming back around on that one.
Because it's like, yeah.
I mean, Tamara, Tamara is an amazing housewife.
But like she is not, she always has the show in mind more than I think the real relationships.
And we need that sometimes.
Thank you.
As a viewer.
Thank you.
Thank you for your service.
Yes.
Brett,
it's like not everybody
can be like
Caroline Brooks and Talline
like five episodes
in calling each other
beggars and
messy.
But it's interesting.
Caroline told us
that she does see
a future with Talline.
Yeah.
She said on,
I watched the
She did say that.
Watch what happens like too.
I watched what happens live
and she was like,
I think it's very likely
that we'll make up
but I won't be apologizing.
Oh,
right, right.
And Amy's like,
so what are you going to be doing?
She was like,
I'm open to receiving
an apology.
It's like, okay, so I don't know if it's very likely that you guys will make up at the reunion.
I think, you know, what I think is hard is when for Caroline, she brought Talene on the show.
Yes.
So she feels that no matter what, Tallene should be ride or die until the end.
And I get that because getting someone on the show is opening such a big door for them.
But you got to know that if you're going to do that, that doesn't necessarily mean that they're going to ride for you, you know.
And I get why she's hurt.
but you can't have those expectations in my opinion.
Yeah.
Something I've been thinking about this season is just like,
I think Caroline Brooks, the way she handles conflict,
it doesn't always leave her like a lot of options.
That it's like she seems very like black and white on the show.
Right.
Like calling someone a C word.
That's a very definitive thing.
Like it's a harsh word to use.
Sometimes you can't come back from those kinds of insults.
Yeah.
I agree with you.
She goes very hard and fast.
Yeah.
So then like when I talked to her earlier,
This week, like, it sort of surprised me how open she seems to...
She's very soft in person.
Yeah, to, like, fixing some of these relationships or to moving forward with people or, you know,
like, she wants everybody to get along.
And I'm like, okay, like, that energy maybe isn't being felt by your castmates.
I agree with you.
Also, you know what?
We didn't ask her about this, and we should have.
I don't know if you did.
But there are a lot of comments about her drinking this season.
Yeah.
And I wonder if that really...
I can't tell.
She told us that when she drinks, she gets really tired.
Um, but that was just in casual.
And she's like a two drink.
She's a two drink girl.
Okay.
Just like Shannon.
Yeah.
Yes.
But we didn't specifically.
Yes.
Yes.
But we didn't specifically ask what do you make of these comments about your drinking?
And I wonder if there, if there is an issue.
If there's not, I don't really understand.
Yeah.
I didn't talk to her about that specifically.
It's so over the years on Housewives, we've had so many different situations where somebody's
drinking is like called into question.
And there are.
times where it's like, oh, I think this person is like really in a bad place and needs help.
And there are times where it's just like, you get drunk and then you're an asshole.
And so there is kind of like a spectrum.
And I don't, I don't really think anybody is like suggesting that Brooks is like, you know,
has a problem and needs to go to rehab and it's like, you know, ruining her life or anything.
But like, if you are drinking and then making bad choices or treating people poorly or,
you know, whatever, like that's still something.
that you maybe should take a look at.
I think like, Derinda is the one that always comes to mind for me where it's like,
nobody's like, nobody's saying you're a bad person.
It's like, no, like you drink and then you scream at people.
She gets, yeah, Durinda is definitely a bit of an angry drinker for sure.
Yeah.
She gets, she gets triggered.
But actually, I've actually been with Duranda when she's drunk, like just out at casual.
Me too.
Like recently.
Yeah.
And she's actually like wonderful and really funny.
Yeah.
So I just think it's the lady's the trigger.
Yeah, I think there is something about like when you're, when they're filming and when they're in these situations where clearly, I mean, like, not that they're being told what to do, but like the reason they're there is to have these.
Controversial discussions.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like a producer might be saying like, oh, like, remember you, she said this about you.
Like when you're sort of in this like suggestible state where it's like, oh, like maybe, maybe go talk to Luann about what she said about you.
It's like, yeah, like that's.
It's going to stir.
Right.
That's different than like having a couple of cosmo.
and like shaking your ass.
No, you're right.
You're right.
I agree.
Yeah.
I want to talk about some news that we got yesterday in the Vanderpump
Rules domain that Tom Sandoval, suing Ariana, alleging that she invaded his right to privacy
by viewing and distributing videos of him and Rachel.
This is, I have some quotes.
He claims that Ariana made copies of the data and distributed the data to Levis and third parties
without his authorization or permission.
And he also says that she has.
is quote, guilty of oppression, fraud, or malice because she acted with the intent to vex, injure, or annoy, and or with a willful and conscious disregard of his rights.
The way that I am rolling my eyes right now.
Yeah.
I don't understand why this is illegal.
Well, he didn't distribute it to monetize or anything like that.
I think it's, this is, I have the same thought.
And I think that's where it's important to note that he's suing her, claiming that she did this.
stuff. If he was saying she broke all these laws, like, file the charges.
She didn't do anything. It sounds like she viewed, it sounds like she viewed the images and
photos. Yeah. And I think there are certain moments where it's like the fact that this is a
civil lawsuit versus like criminal charges. It's like, yeah, there's not actually,
this wouldn't hold up to like the scrutiny of like a police investigation. It's just like I feel like
she did XYZ to me, so I want to try and make her life a living hell so more.
So why do you guys think he's doing this? Do you think for profit? Do you think he actually
thinks he's going to get a paycheck? No, my thing is like, move on. Yes.
Move on. It's been a year and a half. Move on. What's crazy. So in February of this year,
Rachel sued both Tom and Ariana with claims of revenge porn, eavesdropping, invasion of privacy.
And at the time, Tom released a statement calling her lawsuit, quote,
a thinly veiled attempt to extend her fame and to rebrand herself as the victim instead of the other woman.
And it's just like, Tom.
Pot, meat kettle.
Like she did this six months ago.
And now you're like, man, I haven't had much going on this summer.
Not filming Vanderpump rules.
And then my ex is living her best life on Love Island.
Right.
She's been in Fiji for two months.
And then she's about to come back and go straight back onto Broadway for another month in Chicago.
And then presumably filming Vanderpump Rules in the fall.
It's like, Ariana is like the booked and busiest anyone's ever been.
She doesn't need Vanderpump Rules.
And then you have Tom probably sitting in his bar in Hollywood going like, what do I need to do?
And then this popped up.
He just hates that he is out of her narrative.
That's why he did this.
It just clicked for me.
Yeah.
He hates that, yeah, because I've been trying to think about what the motive.
I always think about like what people, people have motive for everything they do.
So it's, you know, that's his motive.
He doesn't like that he's no longer tied to her narrative and he wants to continue being a part of it.
Yeah, he like, I think that makes sense because whether or not Ariana stays on Vanderpump rules, and I haven't really heard any casting.
I hope she doesn't.
Whatever.
I really hope she doesn't.
I don't think she will.
I don't disagree.
But I think even if she leaves the show, I think she will still loom large, assuming that most of the cast returns, I don't think that we'll just like never bring up ever.
everything that happened again.
So, like, Tom having some, like, active proceeding going on would kind of give him
something to talk about.
But interestingly, Sheena went on social media yesterday wearing the biggest sunglasses I've ever
seen.
And she was like, what's going on?
What is he thinking?
This isn't somebody I want to be friends with.
And, look, we've, she has been on the friendship, Marygo around a few times.
But, like, if she really is, if she, if this becomes a thing where sheena really once and for all
has to choose a side and she chooses Ariana,
I feel like this could actually throw a wrench
in whatever plans they have for season 12
because it's like...
What's the season?
Right, like who...
I don't feel like there.
I'm good without Vanderpump at this point.
I feel like the Valley's really good.
The Valley's so great.
I'm excited for season two of the Valley.
I feel that it just makes me sad watching Vanderpump these days.
It's so much shit between these people,
so much vitriol, so much hair.
hatred. And then there's like a lot of love. And I think it's really sad. I don't, I don't want them.
I don't want the show to come back. I completely agree. But as like, I feel like it will.
Because look, it just scored an Emmy nomination. Yeah, for the second season in a row.
For the second season. It does make money still. And like, we're talking money people. I would love to
see new people come in. Maybe people that work at Sir. That could be cool. That could like go back to
our roots. Keep some OGs. But like maybe we go back.
back to our roots. I don't want Sheena and Lala to go to the valley. I'm sorry, but the secret
sauce that is working right now, don't touch it. I think there should be like a two-year freeze on
the Valley cast because I feel like there's a lot more gas in that tank and then like do a couple more
seasons and then if they need a little bit of like zest, baby then Lala comes in. She'll have two
toddlers, whatever. I don't know how old the babies are. But like, yeah, like I think that that is
sort of the question with Vanderpump rules,
it's like, what is the
what is the recipe for
van der Pump rules? Because it seems like
what we've had is kind of
expiring a little bit.
And the last time they tried to kind of like
freshen it up was the season that we had like
25 people in the cast and half of them were
fired for being racist. It's like, okay,
so that didn't work. But what do we do this time?
And I don't know, like,
maybe actually getting rid of some of the
older people is like,
necessary. I don't, I don't know. I don't envy whoever's making those decisions because I think
a lot of people or just shed just produced housewife. Evolution does, uh, okay. But it's like, I think a lot of
people are going to be mad no matter what they do. No matter what. Because you have this fan base.
There's going to be the rider like as many people as they're like, Vanipapapro sucks. Cancel it.
There's going to be people that are like, how dare you fire Lala? How dare you fire fill in the blank.
But then I think there are also a lot of people that if they if they add new people are going to be like,
Who are these randos?
Yeah, who are these people?
I don't want to watch these, like, thirsty people.
We need to make Peter to start.
Give him the spotlight.
Peter wants to be The Bachelor.
Oh, I saw that.
He's on Twitter being like, how about me?
Poor Peter.
I love someone that puts himself up for something.
Put themselves out there.
Yeah.
We're rooting for you, Peter.
Yeah, we're rooting.
Maybe, you know, in 20 years the Golden Bachelor.
There you go.
In 20 years.
How old is Peter?
I don't know.
I'm thinking like maybe he's 40?
Probably.
45 or something?
I think 30 years.
Yeah, so Golden Bachelor.
Gary was like 70.
Yeah, we have Gary who was 70 and he was a crook.
So I'm not saying that Peter was a crook, but like,
anyone can be the Golden Bachelor.
And they got Emmy nominated too.
Congrats.
Congratulations.

Okay, I want to play a quick little game.
So your podcast is called Housewives Nightcap.
Yes.
And I want to see which Housewives we would actually want to get a nightcap with.
Or maybe not.
Okay.
So for our three franchises that we have airing right now, OC, Jersey, Dubai,
I want to talk about who we would most and least like to like get a little 11 p.m.
drink at a hotel bar.
and like catch up with it doesn't have to be like your favorite or least favorite
who you enjoy the drink most with yeah like who's the who's the vibe that you're choosing
yeah yeah yeah that's a good one for that like okay dimly lit yeah jersey we both will agree on this
Danielle to get a drink with oh give me a second I we just I already feel like I mean I love her
I just love her I just want to make sure hold on yeah I agree yeah okay Danielle she's just
just she's super normal. She's so fun. She's a girl's girl. Through and through and through. And she's
like always really supported us. We would be taking shots. We would be taking shots. It wouldn't be a classy
cocktail. We would be at the club. Okay. You know what I was about her too? She like really
respects what we do. Oh yeah. Like she really, really does. I think it's, I think she probably had
desires to even maybe be a host at one point. And I think maybe she even has hosted things. I'm sure she has.
She's hosted charity events.
Yes, charity events, of course.
So definitely Danielle.
Jersey.
Okay, least in the cast.
Oh, oh.
I don't want to say Jen Aiden because I feel like that's the obvious one.
I was thinking Jen Aiden just because I feel like at this point in time, I would get my ear talked off about.
Why do I feel like she would just be using us?
Oh, a thousand percent.
She would just be trying to tell us things so that we deliver that.
She would be like campaigning for you.
she was like, and then the hair girl, right?
She talked to hair girl.
And I'm like, that's not my, I want to like, have a good time.
Right, right.
She's, yeah, yes, I agree with you guys.
Yeah, no Jen Aiden for me.
I think once upon a time, Jen Aiden would have been a great time.
When she was doing the impressions, like, I want to hear her and be like, hey, I'm Jackie, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Like, I want to hear her do the voices, but I don't think she's in that space anymore.
She's not in that space.
No, she's not.
It wouldn't be a good time.
Okay, O.C.
Okay, O-C.
Ooh, okay, I know Gina doesn't drink.
Yeah, no, no, this is like...
She could have a mocktail.
She could have a mocktail.
She's also fun.
She is a good vibe.
She is fun.
I mean, not that any of the...
Because I would get a drink with Heather.
I would get a drink with Tamara.
But I feel like Gina, on a personal level, I get.
Yeah.
We get each other.
Which maybe...
I agree with that.
But I'm going to pick someone else.
Okay, pick someone else.
Only because I want to get to know them more, and that's Emily Simpson.
I was going to pick Emily, too, because...
I think Emily has the fun side too.
Yeah.
But I also think she's like a,
she's a really smart person.
She's really,
she has a really like interesting background.
I, very few times on the show has Emily contrived drama.
It feels like she is more authentic.
Among, you know.
I think, yeah.
Among a pool of very inauthentic people.
I remember a few seasons ago,
I feel like people really,
really would drag Gina and Emily for just kind of like
existing. Totally. And they were like, they're just not X, Y, Z. They're not, they're, she doesn't have
enough money and she's too boring and they're trying too hard. And it's like, I feel like both of
them have settled into a really just like, enjoyable spot. I mean, Gina, I think is still a little
polarizing just because some people, she's not for everybody. But like, I just enjoy both of them.
And I think they are both really good ensemble cast members. I agree with you. And I think they're
also okay with that. So that's why they're not forcing storylines. Like,
family's not forcing a storyline.
They also are real friends.
Yeah.
And that also makes fun.
Like that brings another layer of fun where they're having fun.
I'm having fun watching them.
Yes, do sometimes I think Gina, like, I'm like, why are you a housewife?
You don't fit the mold.
But I enjoy watching her.
That's the same with Danielle.
Like, they don't have, you know, they're not super wealthy.
Right.
They don't, I don't know, what would you, how you would describe a housewife.
But, yeah, I think.
I like the normal girls.
I like the,
I like the mix of it.
I think having one or two people in a cast like that can actually be a really good
balancer.
I mean,
even like last season of Salt Lake when Monica first showed up before things got really crazy.
Before things got crazy.
Having somebody who was like, yeah, like I'm a single mom and I live in a smaller house.
And like all of that.
Like at first.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
First.
And then things.
Things went crazy.
So now some people still like her for different reasons.
No.
No.
No.
No.
We've had also behind the scenes experiences with her or just one and I was like I have a bad taste.
We've never had her on but we had her booked and she didn't show up.
She was late.
She didn't show up.
It wasn't working for us.
Late is tough.
Late is when she was supposed to be there and she was in Manhattan Beach still.
I have to say it.
In five o'clock traffic.
Were you?
Yeah.
In studio in L.A.
And her publicist was there who was so sweet.
So sweet.
but she was still in Manhattan Beach,
which would have taken maybe like an hour and 45 minutes.
And you guys were at Universal?
And we were at Universal.
It was already 5 o'clock in the afternoon.
I had crew and I'm like,
I can't go overtime for this.
Like I can't have my crew be overtime.
I think also because we are at Access Hollywood
and we do a lot of mainstream interviews.
So we interview a lot of really famous A-list people for broadcast.
Yeah.
When these housewives show up so late.
and you're so used to the professionalism of A-listers who are totally entitled to show.
Like, they could show up Bowersly and we'd wait.
You know what I mean?
Right, right, right.
It leaves such a bad taste in your mouth.
No, they don't.
They don't.
The crew would stay overtime for Jennifer Lawrence, but they don't need to.
But they don't need to.
Correct.
And they don't need to because she's on time, you know.
I waited for Larsa once for like an hour and I have to say like I was so pissed.
And the interview was like not great.
I was annoyed.
Yeah, the vibe was off.
because I was annoyed.
It's not nice.
Yeah.
It's disrespectful to our time.
Okay.
Mike drop.
No nightcap with Monica Garcia.
Yeah, you're done.
Okay.
Dubai quickly.
Oh, okay.
Caroline Stanbury.
Yeah.
Get a drink with.
Me too.
I feel like I would need, I need to, like, loosen her up a little bit because
like she is that kind of like.
She's English.
She's reserved.
Yeah.
But I think a couple cocktails and we would be having fun.
Yeah.
And I think she probably has a lot of tea on a lot of people.
She knows everyone.
She knows.
She's also connect.
Yeah.
She knows everyone.
She's so.
She's connected to very wealthy people too, and I love rich people.
So just hearing about her friends and, like, the billionaires.
Yes.
So fun.
That would be so fun.
I think I'm still on the fence with Tallene.
So, like, let me give me another season before we get a drink together.
Yeah.
Somebody told me once, they gave me this piece of advice that if you're ever talking to a rich person and you, like, don't know what, like, small talk or, like, how to keep the conversation going.
Yeah.
Just ask them about where they've traveled recently.
or where they're traveling coming up
and they'll just talk talk
kick the races. I also like Ion.
Oh yeah. I like I too.
I would like to get to know her more as well.
I love that. Well, let's get all these drinks
on the calendar. Yes, yes, yes, yes.
For real, we need to. Amazing. Well,
Emily and Lauren, thank you so much for being here. This is so fun.
Thank you for having us. It's so cool just sitting here. I'm like
smooth jazz in the afternoon. I know. It's a little more relaxed
than like when you're in the studio.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's way more fun.
Yeah.
It's like more.
conversational. I love it. Okay, we'll come back.
Anytime. We'll be back. You guys are headed to Paris
for the Olympics and then you can come back. Yes, yes, yes. We are going to
Paris tomorrow. I'm going to Paris tomorrow. Emily's on Sunday.
Access Hollywood will be
filming all this, all the interviews with all the athletes,
celebrities there and we're starting
I'm trying to get the plug in.
We're going to be, I got it. We are going to be the only
show in Paris next week. So getting a bunch
of preview content leading into opening ceremonies.
And Access will actually be the primetime lead-in show.
The opening ceremony is the only one.
So it's a big deal for us.
It's really exciting for access.
We're super excited.
I feel like we're going to be that place where people can kind of get excited right
before opening ceremonies next Friday.
So we're pumped.
It's going to be really, really fun.
We, we.
I can't wait to watch it.
I love the Olympics.
And tell everyone about how stars nightcap and where they can check it out.
So we have new episodes.
every Thursday. Our new episode with Dylan just launched, dropped, whatever. And yeah, new episodes
