Betches Media presents.
Ha ha, laugh, funny.
Mention It All, a Bravo by Betches podcast.
We don't say that, but now we said it.
With me, Dylan Hafer.
We're going to check me, though.
Hey, everyone.
Welcome back to the Mention at All podcast.
It feels so good to be back for another Friday episode.
It's been a little minute because last week was the 4th of July.
We took the day off.
I hope that you all took the day off too.
And before that, I don't even remember.
It has been a whirlwind the last few weeks.
Also, a little bit of housekeeping up top.
I want to give you a little bit of an insight into what's going on over on YouTube.
As a reminder, you can watch all of our Tuesday episodes with guests on YouTube at Bravo by Betches.
We switched out the name.
We're streamlining things.
So you can find it.
YouTube.com slash at sign bravo by betches.
This week, we had Larsa on the show.
If you're curious for how Larsa would describe herself as a friend, go and have a listen,
have a look.
Next week, we have our new Miami housewife, Stephanie Shoujai, on the YouTube.
And some other fun stuff coming up for later in the summer.
So make sure you go subscribe because it's going to be a lot of fun over there.
Lots of stuff has been happening on Bravo, off Bravo.
I've still been watching Love Island five nights a week.
It's coming to an end this week.
end. So maybe next week we'll catch up on the Love Island finale and how things play out. I got to say,
I feel like with Love Island, this is, again, if you missed my last conversation, it's my first
season watching, and I'm enjoying it, I've been sticking with it. I do have some notes. I just think
something is a little challenging with the formula where up until a certain point, everybody's
very open and the couples are very fluid and you're, you know, you could be making out with two
different people in an episode. That to me is exciting. I want chaos. I want, you know, scandal.
And then when you get to the end of the season, it's kind of like, okay, do we really still
need five episodes a week if everybody's just like continuing to sleep with the same person
they've been sleeping with for four weeks? I don't know. I do love Amaya and Brian together.
And that hideaway song, eat that kitty in the hideaway.
So upsetting, but also so stuck in my head.
But yeah, Love Island, good season.
I'm curious about this Beyond the Villa show.
I don't know if everybody has seen this.
So there is a new Love Island spinoff that is also premiering this weekend that is like people from last season of Love Island just like live in their lives trying to make things happen.
It's kind of giving Vanderpump rules in the sense that it's like a group of friends.
friends in L.A. trying to be models, actors, singers, dancers. I have no idea what these people
want to do for careers, but I'm intrigued. I might have to wait and see on that one. If people
are really talking about it, maybe I'll watch. But I don't know. I mean, the Bravo slate has
suddenly become pretty full. Because we have Atlanta. They had their finale last week. They took a
week off. Thankfully, I was like, I have a lot to catch up on. And I don't have time for an
Atlanta reunion. And neither did they. But that reunion looked.
good. It's going to be three parts. I feel like we are leading into the reunion and into next
season in a very good place there. Miami, obviously, off to the races. Orange County! My girls are back.
Oh, my oranges are back and they're fresh and juicy and oh, I can't wait to talk about that
premiere. We're going to get to that in just a minute. Next Gen NYC, I feel like is kind of hitting.
It's kind of clicking. People are enjoying it. Probably not going to really get to it today, but, you know,
we'll check back in. They're doing a good job with that show, though. I really think they are. I think
they've got something there. Something is working. And then of course, the Valley still, um, still plugging
along. The Valley, you guys, this has been, I think, a good season from a standpoint of like,
there are really compelling things happening on the screen. And there is certainly enough
story and drama within this group to sustain the show. But it's,
a little bit dark over there. We are in, we are in, um, Bummersville, just maybe a little, a little too much.
Because watching this trip to Maui, they're in Maui, they're in Maui, it looks beautiful.
It is beautiful. And we cannot move past a couple of things that just feel a little bit
dark at this point. Janet, my God, Janet is determined to be the,
the least likable person on this show.
I'm convinced because tell me why.
We are 13 episodes into the season and she cannot stop herself from bringing up this
Danny situation that we have already talked about.
And while maybe we have not reached a satisfying conclusion and certainly I don't want
to excuse any of Danny's alleged behavior, you know, not good.
Danny clearly has some shit to work through.
But I just feel like at this point in the season, we have established that this is a thing.
Janet has made her thoughts and feelings about it.
Well known.
And at this point, Jasmine and Melissa, who are the, I guess, subject of this story, aside from Danny, are asking you to leave them out of it.
They don't want to be talked about.
They don't want this situation to be talked about.
They don't want to be dragged into something.
They would like to be excluded from this narrative.
And Janet won't do it.
I mean, she uses the term sexual assault, which is, you know, sounds like she says,
legally accurate to the situation she's describing.
But also, don't act like that's a term that you think you're going to throw out there
and nobody's going to have a strong reaction.
It's a lot.
It's intense.
And I would argue that it's a term.
at this point, continuing to talk about it on the show in these sort of, you know, heightened
scenarios where people are drinking, we're on vacation. Kristen just got engaged. By the way,
I cried. Yes, I did. She, very sweet, very happy for her. Janet, if she genuinely cares
about this situation, and if she earnestly wishes to see, you know, justice done or dealt with
or whatever, probably at dinner or on the boat in Hawaii at this point, use your brain.
It's not going to go well.
And it's a fine line between bringing something up to be messy and, oh, this is going to be
a great fight and there's going to be drama on the boat.
And of course, we love drama on a boat because people, you know, can't leave.
We love drama on a boat.
But something like this, if you feel like the correct term to use is sexual assault,
then maybe it's not fit for drama on a boat.
Maybe that should be in a different forum somewhere else.
Time and place.
Time and place.
I don't know.
It's a lot.
But then also, Jasmine and Melissa are like, hey, leave our names out of it.
And Kristen Doty, God love her.
Kristen is like, she's like, yeah, Janet, yeah, Janet.
Jasmine and Melissa, leave their names out of it.
Their names, Jasmine and Melissa, you should be leaving it out of it.
And you're saying, sexual assault, Jasmine and Melissa, it's like, Kristen, girl, girl,
you're saying their names more than anybody else.
Like, at that point, we just say, okay, great, we won't speak about it anymore.
Kristen doesn't have, doesn't have the ability to apply the feedback from Jasmine and
Melissa and just end the conversation.
She's taking it to another level.
And if I'm Jasmine and Melissa, I'm like, can I get off the book?
boat? Is there a raft? Where can I go? I feel bad for them. It just, I would rather talk about
something else. And I guess maybe that's something else is Jackson, Brittany, which isn't a whole lot,
I don't know, the pastors aren't greener over there. Britney, Britney, my dear, her telling Jacks
about the engagement, after Kristen and Luke asked everybody not to tell anyone about the engagement,
I was so frustrated with Britney in that moment.
She's like, oh, well, you know, I was talking to Jacks about stuff with Cruz, and then I just like said it.
And I said not to tell anyone.
And it's like, Jack's Taylor has the biggest mouth of anyone on earth.
Let alone being trustworthy.
It's like, Brittany.
Brittany, girl.
And like, I know, you know, Luke was telling Kristen, oh, don't.
You know, don't let him, you know, take your piece or whatever.
And it's like, it's so predictable.
And then he tells Schwartz, it's a whole thing.
No, but I'm very happy for Kristen and Luke.
I thought the proposal on the boat in Maui was executed beautifully.
I loved how genuinely surprised.
It seems like Kristen was.
Like, she just, for some reason, the thought hadn't occurred to her that this was going to
happen. And even when she turned around and saw that Luke was on one knee, she was like,
wait, sorry, like her brain short-circuited a little bit. And I don't think she's,
I don't think she's a good enough actor to fake that surprise. It was just really nice. And then
Britney's mad that she wasn't included in the proposal. It's like, well, maybe you should have,
maybe you should apply the retroactive note of why Drew tell Jacks Taylor when you were asked not to.
Brittany, I think she was in a really great place going into this season from like a fan perspective
because Jax's is such an obvious piece of shit and such a, such an easy person to root against on this show that Brittany kind of seemed naturally positioned for like the hero edit this season.
And I think that, I mean, overall, Brittany has had a lot of really good moments.
this season and has been pretty sympathetic.
And of course, this situation with Jacks,
it's like, I want her out of there
faster than she does.
But it's just moments like that where it's like,
you kind of are reminded that it's like,
oh yeah, Britney's, Britney's not perfect.
Britney's got her own little set of stuff
that she struggles with.
And I'm curious, assuming that we're going
into next season of this show with the cast mostly intact and, you know, everybody coming back,
it's like, what is Britney's next chapter? Because this season, we have really seen her, you know,
mostly preoccupied with her separation from Jacks and filing for divorce and dealing with that.
And I'm curious kind of like, what does single Britney even look like? Because we have,
going back to Vanderpump Rules, we have never seen.
seen Brittany without Jacks Taylor in the picture.
Brittany showed up to Vanderpump Rules as this girl that Jacks flew out from Kentucky
and claimed not to know about the show and yada, yada, yada, all of those years.
We've never seen Brittany, like, actually kicking him to the curb and moving on with her
life.
And I don't know what that looks like.
I don't know if she knows what that looks like.
I'm interested to see.
But I don't know.
The Valley, I'm curious what their reunions like too.
We gotta be getting close.
So good, so good.

It's time for a little in-person spring treat.
It's time for a trip to Ross.
Work your magic.
Now, let's talk about Orange County, though, because Orange County, the girls are back.
The girls are back.
All the girls are back.
It's the first time, I think I looked this up when they announced the trailer and the premiere date.
I think it's the first time ever that Orange County has kept all of the same housewives between seasons.
and I think this was a great decision
because this premiere, we jump right back in.
This cast has not missed a step
because it feels like we have so many threads
from last season that we're able to really just pick back up with.
And all of the issues that Katie is having with various people in the group,
all of Jen and Tamara's issues,
everything that's happening, you know, with Gina and Travis.
I felt like I was waiting for an update, you know, Tamara's a therapy journey and
deciding whether or not she's a terrible person.
That, it feels like we really are just keeping the ball rolling from last season and that,
yeah, there's new information, there's new stuff to talk about.
But overall, we're not, we're not starting from scratch at all with this season.
And I think for Orange County, that's such a.
such a wonderful thing to see because they really had to,
they had to build back up over a few years.
And now it feels like this group is just like a well-oiled machine.
And the piece of the machine, you know, the,
the gear that's out of place, it's really Katie.
And she is, she's back for her second season.
And she had a good first season in terms of making a splash within the cast.
You know, she was not a forgettable addition.
She was not, you know, an afterthought in terms of storylines.
But she didn't do a great job of making friends.
She didn't do a great job of getting on people's good sides and feeling like a core part of the group.
And coming into this season, it almost feels like she has made it harder for herself.
because we have two different situations from two different angles where she has gotten herself into a little bit of a pickle
in terms of talking to bloggers and podcasters and potentially kind of having this like
behind the scenes, shenanigans going on, you know, maybe an agenda, maybe a, you know, just that kind of.
of thing where when you're in a cast and that becomes your storyline, it's really hard to get
people to trust you again. It's really hard to get people to kind of not question the things
that you're doing and saying and the ways that you're operating. And I want to talk about this.
So there's a continuation. Last season, there was this whole thing where Katie's daughter,
Kylie was babysitting Emily's kids and Kylie said that Emily's kids were saying, oh, we don't like
Heather because she's mean to our mom. And this became a whole thing of talking about the kids and,
you know, it blew up. So in the off season, rather than moving on from this situation and maybe,
you know, smoothing things over with Emily and being like, oh, we'll never talk about that again.
instead, Katie's daughter Kylie, who again is like a teenager, went on a podcast and talked about it.
I'm like, huh?
First of all, I missed this.
What podcast?
They show it in the episode.
I don't know.
Why is Kylie Janella?
Is that her last name?
Kylie Janella.
Who's listening to that podcast?
I mean, let me know if I'm wrong.
if I booked Kylie Janella on the podcast, would you guys be into that?
Like, please say no, because I don't want to do it.
But, like, is that a thing we're doing now?
Should I be reaching out to, like, Cy De Silva's kids to see if they have anything to get off their chest?
Am I supposed to be, am I supposed to be talking to, like, Gertie's sons?
I don't want to do that.
It was like, I had Riley and Ariana here, and I was like, wow, it feels, it feels, it feels
kind of funny because I watched you as little kids on TV. And they're on their own show.
No, the Kylie going on the podcast, I'm sorry, the second I heard that, I was like, that's weird.
But then it gets, there's more layers to it because it turns out that Emily's ex-nanny reached out to
Katie and Katie, the way that Katie explains this, she's like, oh yeah, she wanted to, you know,
blah, blah, blah. But I didn't, I didn't really engage with her. I just gave her the name of the
podcaster that Kylie had gone on. And then she went on the podcast and I guess also talk shit about
Emily, I don't know. Don't make me listen to this podcast. I don't want to do it. Emily Simpson's
ex-nanny. I'm sorry, get a life. But so to Emily, obviously, to me, obviously, not to Katie.
this comes across as like, okay, you did collude with the ex-nanny because you gave her the name of the podcaster that your daughter, which is weird, had already gone on and talked about me.
And then the nanny went on and talked about me.
That's, you helped her get dirt about me out there.
You were working with her.
And Katie is like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
I didn't know.
I, I mean, she reached.
Maybe I should, maybe I just should have ignored her DM, but like, I don't know, we talked.
All I did was give her a name.
It's like, baby, girl, this is your second season now.
You have to understand the rules of the game that you have chosen to play.
And it's one thing, if this was your first season, I mean, she got herself in hot water right away with Heather last season because of this whole, you know, paparazzi thing.
that was maybe understandable because it was her first rodeo.
Darling, this is your second rodeo now.
You're supposed to already know the rodeo etiquette.
And the fact that Katie is kind of trying to frame this in an innocent way,
or maybe she genuinely feels like it was an innocent interaction,
it's like, girl, be fucking for real.
You gotta, you weren't born yesterday.
neither were any of these other ladies.
You gotta, you gotta, you gotta understand.
And then there's a second situation.
That's not even the whole thing.
Because Tamara, Tamara has, has found out or heard or, you know, whatever, that, that Katie
was reaching out to bloggers and, and somebody that Katie was reaching out to was accusing
Tamara of running fake accounts.
We've seen this before, you know, going all the way back.
to reality von T's.
So Katie now with two different people in the group, in two different instances, has been
accused of essentially working behind the scenes to do something or work with someone or spread
something to make somebody else in the cast look bad.
And it's just, you know, I don't want to say where there's smoke, there's fire, because
with these shows, sometimes you never know.
but like where there's two separate sources of smoke, there's probably, I mean, you're at least,
you're doing something. And I think the way that Katie responds to these accusations shows that like,
it's not so much a denial. It's a pushback on the way that it's being framed. And again,
it goes back to sort of the rules of engagement with these shows that if you are chatting in the DMs,
with one of these bloggers or fan accounts or whatever,
you have already stepped over the invisible line into questionable territory.
And so Emily says, like, I think that Katie views these people as her friends.
And so she doesn't, in her mind, it doesn't click that she's, you know, kind of playing this dirty game.
And it's like, yeah, I believe that.
and I think that Katie at this point just needs to get real.
And going into this season, in this premiere,
it feels like kind of the only person that Katie is good with is Shannon.
And look, we all love Shannon in our own special way.
But if you are on a season of Housewives and Shannon's the only person that you have in your corner,
I'm not sure that's like an auspicious story.
start. And I had kind of hoped, for Katie's sake, that she would use the post-reunion
off-season to kind of like clean up some of her messes and maybe build a couple bridges and
start a couple friendships and kind of work to be like, okay, last season, I know it was a little
messy. I feel like I kind of was sloppy my first season. I made a couple missteps. But now that
I, you know, now that I, now that this circle of women is so strong, I want to feel like I can be
a great part of that. And it kind of feels like Katie has gone the other direction. And I'm very
curious. I'm excited to see kind of how this unfolds or unravels because it seems like it might
unravel for her. But I just don't know that it was a great strategic decision because it's like,
you're catching a lot of heat and that's episode one. I don't know.
Jen and Ryan, they're still engaged.
Ryan wants to see Jen wear a bikini to the wedding.
Yeah, of course.
Just like, yuck.
Their energy together, I'm sorry.
He's like, yeah, I was like bikinis and board shorts on the beach in Malibu.
It's like, yeah, I'm sure you were.
I'm sure you were.
A little nasty.
I don't know.
The Jen and Ryan thing is just so.
I don't know.
But Jen and Tamara are still not on a good page.
Tamara's not going to be invited to their wedding.
Sad.
I don't know.
Tamara is, Tamara's in a weird position.
She's in a weird position.
She and Shannon still aren't great.
She has, you know, just not really built any good, solid relationships in the group since coming back.
And that's becoming challenging for her.
And we see her going to therapy.
and in the reunion for last season, Andy, like, congratulated her on scheduling her first therapy session,
which was, like, a little LOL at the time.
And then, as we know, Tamara went to the first therapy session.
They, I guess, talked a little bit about the possibility that perhaps she maybe could be on the spectrum.
And then she went and yapped about it on her podcast and was like, so I went to therapy one time and I'm on the spectrum.
She ended up deleting that.
She talked about it.
She said it was premature.
She got hate comments.
I love, love, love, love, love,
the production decision or the editing decision
when they are showing the screenshots
of all the negative comments she got,
you know who's front and center,
saying that it's an attempt to cover up
for her bad behavior, Gretchen Rossi.
Dun, dun, dun.
Oh, the foreshadowing is just delicious
because, of course, we know
that Gretchen Rossi is soon to rejoin the show.
She's not in this first episode.
They're making us wait.
They're making us roll hungry for some Gretchen.
I actually don't know how I feel about Gretchen coming back.
For me, it's a real TBD.
I feel like after the Alexis debacle of last season, we really have to be, you know,
we have to hold our horses a little bit in terms of like standing someone who's coming back.
And not that I stand Gretchen in the first place, but seeing that Gretchen was going off in the comments about Tamara saying she was on the spectrum,
I'm like, oh yeah, she's ready. There's something here. And I know that they included that on purpose. And I,
I will just say hat tip. I appreciate it. No, but Tamara shows up to therapy in this first episode. She's,
she's already crying as she walks in the door. She's talking about how, you know, she's scared to trust people.
And for that reason, she doesn't, you know, invest in any of her friendships. And so she doesn't have a lot of
friends. And I don't know. I'm like, I want growth for everyone.
I'm in favor of Tamara doing some self-exploration, some healing.
I think that's a great goal.
I'm not getting ahead of myself in terms of what that means for her,
like, as a great human and a wonderful friend and a lovely person to be around.
But I'm interested to see where it goes.
Like, I just think this premiere does a good job of setting a lot of foundations
and updating us on some relevant storylines.
You know, we see that Gina and Travis have moved back in together.
They've got a bigger house.
They've got square footage.
I'm so happy for them.
Yeah, they might have camping chairs in the living room because they don't have a couch yet.
But I just, I don't know.
I'm happy to see them back together.
I really am.
It was weird.
It was weird last season.
And, you know, it felt like they couldn't kind of totally be honest about it
because it was stuff with his ex.
And Gina kind of alludes to that in the premiere too.
But I'm just, I don't know.
I'm rooting for those crazy kids with a lot of kids.
Yeah.
OC, no complaints.
I'm happy they're back.
I'm so happy they're back.
Can't wait to keep following this season.

Let's talk about Miami a little bit before we wrap up.
I didn't get a chance to talk about last week's episode, which was, these last couple weeks have been intense, no?
Right?
We met a new housewife, Steph Show Jai, who, by the way, is going to be on the podcast next week,
which is going to be also on YouTube next week at Bravo by Betches.
So make sure to stay tuned for that.
I had a great conversation with her.
But I talked to her before I had seen this episode tonight, last night, whatever night it was.
Miami this week.
What day is it?
I have no idea.
But Steph, she kind of throws her hat right in the ring with Lisa Hawstein.
Because Lisa is two and a half hours late to the sprinter van.
This is the kind of tardiness that I truly cannot.
wrap my head around. Because it's one thing if you're showing up to an event and your timeline
is just looking different than what was on the invite. And it's like, oh my God, I'm going to be
late. This is annoying. But like, I'm still going to go. I don't know with filming, you know,
if they give them a set amount of time where it's like the event's going to last four hours.
So if you're two and a half hours late, you still have plenty of time. I don't know exactly how
that works. But the way that this worked was that Alexia is having her narcissism party,
which we'll get to, I have thoughts.
And all of the ladies are meeting somewhere and taking this like van limo sprinter thing to the party.
And we watch all of them show up.
I always love when they do this where they put like a little timestamp on when everybody arrives.
Because it's like, okay, like somebody's there five minutes early, somebody's there exactly on time.
People kind of trickle in.
I get it.
Traffic, glam, other various and sundry emergencies.
but two and a half hours,
it's crazy,
crazy to me,
that you are clear on the plan,
that it's like we're all meeting somewhere to drive somewhere together.
Nobody else can leave until you're there.
And you're 150 minutes late.
That's like you could watch a long movie.
They could have,
did they have, they should have had a movie on the bus.
They should have, you know, the little like DVD player thing on like some of the coach buses.
They, they could have watched, I don't know, gone girl.
That would be a great way to kill two and a half hours.
But no, Lisa walks in, she's like, and the thing is she walks in and she is not even apologetic one little bit.
You would have thought it was 1202 the way she waltzed in there.
She's like, hey, guys, how we doing?
And Steph Show Jai, brand new housewife.
immediately.
It's like, Lisa, I think it's extremely rude
that you're two and a half hours late.
It's my number one pet beef.
You think your time is more valuable
than all of ours?
And I just want to say
that I am, it was thrilling
to see Steph
just asserting herself
and really just charging into the mix
like that.
But also,
a little too much,
just a little too much.
Because like, we're trying to,
you're trying to establish yourself in the group here.
And while,
I think she certainly had a point,
and a lot of the other women
were kind of thinking the same thing,
but maybe didn't want to say,
didn't want to ruffle too many feathers.
Steph, the delivery could use just a little bit of work.
Because she is going at Lisa.
And Lisa, you know,
a hit dog will holler.
She's like, don't you dare speak to me like that ever again.
I don't even know you.
You don't know me to be speaking.
to me like that. Don't lecture me. And Lisa, like, when Lisa kind of gets up on the high horse,
and she's like, how very dare you speak to me like that? I would never. And I'm like, okay,
first of all, like, Steph made me a little too heated, but also Lisa, two and a half hours late.
Like, I just think if I were going to be, I mean, I never would be that late. It just,
I truly can't wrap my mind around it. But if I was, like, significantly late,
how do you not walk into the room being like, oh my God, you guys, I'm so sorry.
I really, really didn't mean for it to be this bad.
I mean, I guess that might not land because she also had been ignoring everyone's calls and texts while she was two hours late.
So she wasn't even like, you know, that's the thing.
Like, I would be frantically texting or calling all the way.
I'd be like, oh, my God, you guys, I'm so sorry.
I'm going to be 10 minutes late, but I'm stuck in traffic, but I'm a block away.
I can get out and walk.
If the traffic's bad, it might be fat.
Like, I would be updating.
I would be questioning.
I would be like, oh, can you go?
Can you, I get me there?
She's just ghosting them and then showing up two and a half hours late.
Tough, tough, tough.
But Steph, I was not expecting that much energy.
And I'm curious to see sort of like how she resets after that.
Because you can't be at 11 all the time.
But who now we know she has it in her.
No, but this narcissism party,
Alexia is doing, you know, some work on herself.
She's really trying to get, you know, to get peace between her head and her heart because, you know, her head knows that Todd is not the right guy and that he is not, you know, that she has to move on.
But her heart, it's pulling her back.
She's really struggling.
And to get her through this time of strife, who has she contracted?
But the scammiest man you've ever seen on your television.
this Australian life coach who did you know has written three books about narcissism and has,
I'm sure you know, worked with over 300 clients.
And as you see is coming up with all of these tactics.
It's like, okay, first of all, is this a reality show or a sales pitch?
I feel like I'm watching Shark Tank.
He's talking to Alexia one-on-one.
You're having a person-to-person conversation with.
somebody who, by the way, has already signed on to whatever your bullshit is. And he's like,
yeah, so actually the thing is with narcissism, it's really important. And as you see in my book,
that we're going to talk about all of these different things with narcissism. And so,
as I've said to, by the way, my over 300 clients, it's really important that you talk about
the narcissistic behavior. And that's something you might know. If you've read, by the way,
any of my three books that I've written on the subject, it's like, we get it.
we get it, this is your gift.
You've been at it for a while.
Or like, GPT wrote three books for you.
Cool.
And then Alexia, not only is she letting this man kind of like influence her decisions,
but she's like, you know, yeah, this actually would be perfect for the girls because
there's actually a lot of narcissism within the group.
And so I think if you have this event, you're showing them and you're walking around and
doing all the different exercises, maybe they can see a little bit in their behavior how they could be a narcissist.
It's like, yeah, I'm sure that's.
going to go over well. I cannot wait to see on next week's episode. Once all these ladies
show up and realize what they've been drafted into, oh my God, it's going to be so good.
Because if I had to do that, I would be laughing the whole time. I would be like, that's the
kind of thing where like the Australian guy's like, yes, at first we're going to walk around
the pool and you're going to see if you're a narcissist. You're like elbowing your friend trying
not to laugh. I can never be on these shows because I could not take this shit serious.
I'd be like, are you fucking getting me?
No, the other big order of business is that Julia and Gertie are trying to get on the same page after the drink dumping and the facelift exposing.
And I, look, I think that Julia for sure was more in the wrong in this argument.
And of course, I mean, the drink dumping on its own is worse than anything that Gertie did.
And then also just the way she was speaking to her, the way she was, you know, bringing up and, you know, talking about denying that they were ever close like that or this cruise thing seems just like really blown out of proportion.
But also Gertie divulging the private information about the facelift.
Not super cool.
Not super cool.
The thing is watching them have this conversation, something actually clicked into place for me.
when they're kind of getting a little heated again,
and then all of a sudden it just,
Julia goes,
do you like me?
And I was like, oh, yeah,
I don't know if these people are actually meant to be friends.
And I think that's a healthy thing to admit
that sometimes it's just not,
you're not meant to be friends.
I'm, I don't want to say cautiously optimistic
about how they're going to interact with each other
for the rest of the season,
but I do feel like we've seen the biggest peak
of the drama because how could it get more? I mean, she shoved the drink in her face, launched it at her.
I don't know, but we've got, we've got, you know, untold horrors coming down the pipeline in
Miami this season, so there's still going to be a lot to pick apart. But I think that's going to do it
for us today. I mean, just lots to get into next week. We will have an Atlanta reunion to talk about
Miami, O.C., Valley, next gen, Love Island finale, lots going on.
I'm who else is scared.
It's going to be a good time, but thank you so much for listening.
