Starting point is 00:00:28 See Store Online for details. Betches Media presents Ha ha laugh funny Mention It All A Bravo by Betches podcast We don't say that but now we said it With me, Dylan Hafer We'll go check me both
Starting point is 00:00:42 Hey everyone Welcome back to the Mentioned at All podcast I'm Dylan Hafer And I am so excited to be joined In the studio today by Luanne Deliseps and Sonia Morgan Hello ladies
Starting point is 00:00:55 Hi, Dylan Good morning So happy to have you here You've been here before Luan Sonia first time Welcome Louan will tell you I never return a call or a text. You'll see that coming up.
Starting point is 00:01:07 A little hard to pin down. I feel like that's the Sonia Morgan brand. Well, it depends on what kind of pinning down you're talking about. That's true. But Luann knows. Certain guys know how to pin her down. Are you talking about Crappy Lake? I am so excited to talk about this new show.
Starting point is 00:01:25 Welcome to Crappy Lake. I have seen the first couple episodes. It's so much fun. So different to see you guys in this type of environment. I'm curious, just tell me how this show came to be. Who had the idea? What was the process? Well, so Jeff Jenkins' productions produced the show, and his partner is Russell.
Starting point is 00:01:46 Cedric, how you could say his last name? Russell. Russell. It's hard to say his last name. And Russell is actually from Crappy Lake. He's from Benton, Illinois. Yeah, crappy Lake. He grew up there.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Anyway, so I think, you know, they produced initially, a Simple Life based on Green Acres. Do you remember that show? You're too young. I'm aware. Right. You're aware, right. So culturally, right?
Starting point is 00:02:12 And so they produced this show, but they wanted to do something similar, you know, an updated version of the Simple Life. And so, and they wanted to help improve this town of Benton, Illinois, you know? So they reached out to Bravo and they handpicked Sonia and I for this show. they wanted two girls that could get in there and like lift the town like lifted spirits help it with you know with the mayor in terms of you know playground for kids and um christmas and july a variety show all these things that would help improve the town and make money for the town so pretty much the town was devastated from covid and they're it's a small town less than 7000 people wonderful people And of course, Russell, being from Benton, Illinois, loves this town, and they know him very well.
Starting point is 00:03:03 So they were excited, but they didn't know what to expect. And they thought we were from Hollywood. They put Welcome Hollywood. Welcome Hollywood. They had no idea what you expected. I think they were pleasantly surprised. I mean, half the people didn't know who we were and half kind of did, but they probably thought, you know, what are these two, you know, fancy whippersnappers doing from New York here in our town?
Starting point is 00:03:22 And they, I must say, a lot of them embraced us. Others were very skeptical. But I think by being there and doing what we did in six weeks, we did a lot in six weeks. They put a billboard up of us. Welcome to Benton, Illinois. And there we are. I'm kind of embarrassed to be on that billboard. So huge.
Starting point is 00:03:41 You can't miss us. I know. It's kind of great, actually. No, but the people were really very, very nice. And now we're very good friends with them. Several of them have come up to stay at the townhouse because I'm not always there. And, you know, you're in touch with people there as well. Yeah, 100%.
Starting point is 00:03:57 Especially your friends at the doggy run. Yes. Well, you know, the guy who built the fence was kind of cute. But that's how we got the fence for free. Yeah, exactly. We worked our tradeouts majorly. So I think they expected one thing and they got another, which is two girls that were really there to help them out and who are, you know, Sonia and I grew up in small town,
Starting point is 00:04:16 so we're really down to earth. You know, our lives have changed, of course, over the years. But, but, you know. Some things never change. You can't take the small town out of the girls. Right. And so, you know, it was exciting for us to go, to help this town work with the mayor directly. Long list.
Starting point is 00:04:32 We had a long list of things to do. We did start sweating it towards the end because it was a short period of time to get things done. I started sweating as soon as we got there. We had a jungle gym coming in. Like these things cost more than $100,000. You know, and they needed it. They didn't have one in this lower income area for the kids to play. And they had over 120 houses there.
Starting point is 00:04:50 So we were really sweating it towards the end. And they had to drive it for three days, the one we had. found. Like everything, to get the fence, as we were joking. She was flirting with the guy that put the fence in. She flew her brother in who does contracting. Yeah, my brother's a contractor. So we helped us to improve the motel because the motel, the carpets from the 1960s. And we, you know, I had to buy throw carpets so I could step from carpet to carpet to get to bed because from the shower to bed, my feet were dirty. And I was like, we went to Walmarts almost every day. That saved off. I was never so happy to see a Walmart in my life. Yeah. You guys really, it's, it's, it's, it's
Starting point is 00:05:25 The second you're on the ground there, it feels like you are just kind of soaking every moment of it up. I'm wondering, did you have, did you know what you were getting yourself into in terms of the work that you were going to be doing? No idea. Where you were going to be staying, all of that stuff. No idea. You know, when we went to leave after six weeks, I was like, oh my God, I have my life back. I mean, because we literally gave up our lives for six weeks. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:52 I think we extended to eight weeks. Everyone else was more important than we were. And we had to get all these jobs done. And it was a lot of work, you know, from the dog run, you know, for the animal shelters, from the playground to the variety show. The garden club. We did a lot of garden. Garden club, you know, Christmas in July to raise money.
Starting point is 00:06:10 And there was shortage on everything from lumber to, you know, the jungle gym. You couldn't get things. Right. This was a while ago. We were there. Actually, we extended. We were there eight weeks, two tiny rooms next to each other. I love in the show.
Starting point is 00:06:23 You can hear everything. between the doors. I mean, she's up at 5.30 in the morning talking to Europe, and I'm just getting to bed at, like, two. I just put a do not disturb on the door, and the funniest thing is I could hear Luanne outside with the crew saying, that's not for me. Well, you know, Sonny and I are kind of like the odd couple, you know. It's, uh, sunny's a little messy, and I'm like, very neat and tidy. I'm, like, all organized. I'm doing yoga in the morning, and she's, like, hung over with the covers pulled over her head. So, you know. Yeah. We also see you drive a lot on the show.
Starting point is 00:06:55 Our truck was always driving. You're in the truck. You're like ready to go. Oh, I love that truck. She loves driving. She drives to the city all the time from the Hamptons. Yeah, yeah. No, I love to drive and she doesn't really like to drive.
Starting point is 00:07:06 So it was perfect because on her days off, I had the car, you know, and we didn't really have much time off. We only had maybe one day a week if that. And she always wanted to go somewhere like, I'm going to go to Nashville. I'm like, great. Bye. I never leave my room. She didn't leave the motel room.
Starting point is 00:07:20 I'm like. I was working night and day. I'm exhausted. No. She was going everywhere. You know where I went? I went to see Desmond Child who wrote, um, Oh,
Starting point is 00:07:28 yeah. Yeah. So he has a massive house in Nashville. So I actually went there and I'm so glad I did. He's just like, we're getting massages tonight. Would you like a massage? I'm like, yes.
Starting point is 00:07:38 And then dinner will be at 8 p.m. Overlooking all of Nashville. I mean, it was incredible. So luckily. And we had a good time in St. Andy's hometown. I'm from St.
Starting point is 00:07:47 Louis. We loved it. Yeah. It's a great place. We had a beautiful dinner outside. Yeah. Oh, yeah. It was a beautiful evening.
Starting point is 00:07:53 It was like 10 or 15 guys next to us all smoking cigars and sipping whiskey. And one guy went to school with the indie. I think we hit a bachelor party or something. Yeah, like when I go home, I'm not smoking cigars, but that sounds nice. Well, it was our lucky night. I just did my comedy show in St. Louis. It was really nice. Very nice.
Starting point is 00:08:11 You know, that's one of the cities that's growing rapidly. People are moving there since COVID. That's a good place. Maybe I'll be there. Check it out. Check it out someday since you're from there. So good. Everything you want for summer is at Nordstrom rack stores now and up to 60% off.

Join the Nordie Club to unlock exclusive discounts, shop new arrivals first, and more. Plus, buy online and pick up at your favorite rack store for free. Great brands, great prices. That's why you rack. Girl, winter is so last season. And now Springs got you looking at pictures. of tank tops with hungry eyes.
Starting point is 00:08:56 Your algorithm is feeding you cutoffs. You're thirsty for the sun on your shoulders. That perfect hang on the patio sundress. Those sandals you can wear all day and all night. And you've had enough of shopping from your couch. Done hoping it looks anything like the picture when you tear up on that envelope. It's time for a little in-person spring treat. It's time for a trip to Ross.
Starting point is 00:09:17 Work your magic. We've seen you do Real Housewives for so many years. Obviously, this is a really different experience. What was it like just doing a show where you were in such a different environment and different things were kind of expected of you? For me personally, it was a dream come true because, you know, we are both very nurturing. You know, we have families. We have homes. And our charities, we love doing it.
Starting point is 00:09:43 We like gardening. We like, you know, I like sports, you know. So guess who caught the catfish? Yeah. And who ate the testicles? And who went up in the bucket? And who went up in the bucket to like clean out the park? Camel, that would be you.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Yeah, that would be you. So, um... I don't do those things. No, no, never. Never any hijinks. No. I'm not going to eat testicles. I think of them like chicken wings.
Starting point is 00:10:06 They have hair on them. Sorry, what was the question? What was the question? That was the question? No, but what was it like to have that huge list and have to get things done? We love it. We love giving back. And we even wrote a song, giving back to Benzik.
Starting point is 00:10:19 Yeah, you know, we wrote a song for the town. You know, we're, you know, busy people get the most done. And, and, and, and, And I feel like we really had our hands full. I, you know, we worked 14 hour days and we just had so much to do in such little time. So it was a challenge. It was a challenge. And like I said, I felt like, you know, when I got on the plane to go home, I'm like, oh, my God, I have my life back.
Starting point is 00:10:43 That was a shock. It was a shock to sleep in a real four-poster bed and, you know, to have a big bathtub. I have to say, though, the owners of the Benton Motel, they're going to be our first. friends forever, the cutest couple. They just bought the place next door because they're going to expect a lot of new business. But when we got there, the only thing they had seen come through town were these deer hunters and there was deer blood and there were deer heads and everything everywhere. And in the freezer, we opened the freezer.
Starting point is 00:11:11 Don't go there. So we went from, you know, our lifestyles into, you know, a lifestyle which is, you know, four walls in a motel and needed a lot of work. And so we helped with the motel also. So, you know, we had so many people. projects. Yeah. But along the way, you know, helping people, there's a lot of heart in the show and that's
Starting point is 00:11:31 what I love the most about it. And Paula Abdul comes in to help out our dancers, you know, for the variety show. So there's a lot of heart and along the way, a lot of comedy. Yeah. It's so funny. Paula Abdul, like in the middle of nowhere in Illinois. It's like the perfect company. She's so amazing.
Starting point is 00:11:46 She was great with the kids. Yeah. She's, you know, she, in 15 minutes, she helped change these girls' dance routine from, I I mean, from, you know, zero to 100. It was incredible. It was amazing. I think it's been a couple of years since we saw you on Housewives. Obviously, you have been busy doing lots of different things since then.
Starting point is 00:12:07 You mean like living out of a garbage game? My best senior show in the time since then, you know. It's been a busy few years. It's Ramona's then. Where have you been living in a garbage can? It's fun to see you guys back on our screens and obviously in such a different way. But I think people are just excited to have. some comedy something exciting happening again i think you know sonny and i have a great dynamic and i feel like
Starting point is 00:12:31 that's what drew these producers to us because you know i think a lot of times you see us on the show i was living with sonya in her townhouse those were fun times you know sonny stays with me in the hampton so i think that they like are kind of laverne and shirley thelman louise odd couple dynamic and you know we're uh old friends and i you know but when you spend six weeks with someone yeah you You know, there's things that get on your nerves, that's for sure. We have our moments. We are like an old married couple. When I'm in the car with her, for instance, we don't have to talk to each other.
Starting point is 00:13:03 You know, that kind of, we're very comfortable, and she always cooks so well and entertain so beautifully. So I'm just sitting at the table and she's making me beautiful European-style meals. And then we're in the motel. Yeah. But we handled it. We really did. There wasn't anything on the list that we didn't deliver in the end.
Starting point is 00:13:21 And we were sweating it. Was there one, like, activity or job that you did that you had the most fun with? I would say, for me, the variety show. That was great. I couldn't believe how talented these people were. They have a real theater there. Yeah. And, you know, it's all about the churches and they sing and, oh, country western.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Such good time. Well, there was a play when we first got there. They were doing the Adams family. Oh, yeah, yeah. The Adams family. So I went to see the play because I knew that I had to cast a variety show. So I went to the show and I was like, wow, I mean, there was some really decent and good singers at this show. We've made so many great friends there.
Starting point is 00:14:00 I mean, I'm like best friends now. They're inviting me to come down to stay with them. They've come to New York and stay with me. Craig who put the new sewer system in down there? No, he's the new mayor. He's the new mayor. He came to stay with me. I had the mayor at my house.
Starting point is 00:14:14 And our producer came to stay with me for Bravo. Did you stay with the mayor at your house? Is the other question. No, I wasn't there. I was walking out the door. It was a fair question. I never am in my house. Everybody else is.
Starting point is 00:14:25 Including the poodle. We liked Lee a lot. Did we? At least married. Everyone's married in that town. Everyone's married. Yeah, and those small towns... Next time we're bringing our own.
Starting point is 00:14:35 I think, you know, in small towns, there's not a lot to do. So I think, you know, it would be very lonely and just being alone in these towns. I think, you know, people often are married. Yeah. Even the firehouse we went there and then people were engaged in three days. Or Richard.
Starting point is 00:14:49 Or Richard. lived there. He didn't tell me that. Remember the guy with the tattoo on his back? Said, Richard. I'm like, I don't know if he goes to your church. That was his name on his back? Oh, I didn't know. Richard. I tried not to look at it. Must have been difficult when you're in between the sheets.
Starting point is 00:15:06 The fire house was like stressful to me. I don't know. It was really good. We had a blackout one night. She drove a half an hour to the crew hotel and I just walked two blocks to the firehouse. And they had electricity. He made me coffee in the morning And I slept in a lazy boy couch with, with Akash's wife. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Scissors. We actually had to turn over at 2 a.m. Like, let's do another position because we were feet to feet on this couch. Yeah, the fireman, you know, the fireman didn't even know what was happening. It looked like they were like, oh, my God, they've never seen two girls like us, I don't think. You know what I mean? Who just kind of roll in, we're in sequined dresses. I mean, they must have been like, oh, God.
Starting point is 00:15:47 Yeah. So I think they were a little gun-shy. These farmers are growing corn. They're selling John Deer tractors. They're racing cars. I mean, they live really well there. Yeah. It makes you think differently about your everyday life when you're somewhere where, you know, life is just so different.
Starting point is 00:16:06 I was never so happy to see a Walmart in my life. And a dairy queen. And a dairy queen. Did you eat the catfish that you caught? Oh, God. We had catfish while we were there. But yes, actually we did. I think Lee's family made a catfish grill.
Starting point is 00:16:21 We went to a catfish fry. Catfish fry, yeah. And the croppy fish, the crappy fish, it takes 50 little skinny girl fish to make a sandwich. Oh, tiny little things. Bottom feeder, little teeny things. So are the catfish, but you put your hand right in. The catfish was huge. First she said it was, oh, here we go.
Starting point is 00:16:41 It was this thing. It was on tape, baby. It was big. It was big. I'm like weird about it's so gross. touching a fish. I don't know. Well, you saw the one guy he lost his finger. I'm like, go ahead, Lou.
Starting point is 00:16:52 I know. It's interesting to see you guys in an environment where things aren't kind of as under control. Because I feel like on Housewives, even when you're, even when you're, you know, having a great time and things are, you know, a little bit hectic. It's like you're still in your own environment. Yeah. With security. We did have security.
Starting point is 00:17:10 You would have a city break at night and we would talk to the security guy in our parking lot. Well, we were coming over to the hotel. There was tailgating. I will say I did tailgate with the guys that were putting in the new phone lines. I never been tailgating before. She wasn't drinking on this trip. So she went to bed pretty early.
Starting point is 00:17:27 And then I would get back and want to have a little Sony Sangria. And I had cases of it. So I'd go in the back of my friend's truck and sit with these two guys, FaceTime their wives and their kids. And you just hang out. Yeah. It's like nice to be relaxed like that. Yeah. It was wonderful.
Starting point is 00:17:44 Yeah. It was really nice. I was sad when we were leaving. We were crying. I mean... Oh my God. I was so happy to get home to the Hamptons. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:17:52 Yeah. We lived in a motel room with four walls that, you know, had deer guts on the carpeting. So you can imagine. But no bad bugs. We checked. No bad bugs. I brought blue lights. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:02 I mean, I feel like six weeks is a long time to stay anywhere that's not your home. That's right. That's a luxury situation. So, you know, it was that part was... But let me tell you, we were so busy the whole time that... that, you know, we weren't a lot in our rooms. No. But it's, you know, it's a totally different, obviously, a lifestyle.
Starting point is 00:18:23 And what was great was actually going in and people realizing, wow, these girls are down to earth. They're not like these spoiled brats from New York. I mean, some of them thought we were spoiled brats. And they found out we weren't. And we really fit in. We started hanging out. Like you said, we had a catfish fry at the lake. We were barreling on horse.
Starting point is 00:18:44 with one of the guys that owns the John Deere plays. He tried to date me, actually. He gave me a whole tour of his trailer, and his daughter told me about, you know, the guy with the tidy whitties? Yeah. She told me about him. The big guy with the tiny whities.
Starting point is 00:18:59 He was so cute. Sounds like you did okay in Benton with the guys. You're a little bit here and there. Well, my reputation precedes me. So, you know, basically when I walked in the firehouse, they were like, I don't think we've met. You know? Well, and the guys we went mudding with.
Starting point is 00:19:13 I mean. Oh, you had. the hot guy with the dirty socks. Yeah. Yeah. I just couldn't, I couldn't quite wrap my head around doing it. He said a picture. Some people get a picture of a...
Starting point is 00:19:24 I couldn't wrap my head around, you know. I was like, he needs a bath before I get. That isn't sexting when someone sends you a picture of their dirty socks. That's true. He was proud of his muddy. His jeans were muddy and socks were muddy. I know. So he actually sent me a picture of himself and his lazy boy in his living room.
Starting point is 00:19:40 Yeah, with his socks. And everything was dirt. Mud. Mud. I'm like, wow. Oh, that's sexy. That's hot. That's sexy.
Starting point is 00:19:47 You're like giving out your number to guys in Benton, like, are they hitting you up still? Well, you know, listen, we were there for six weeks. I just put my number in the bathroom on the wall. We were there. What about you with that guy with the goatee? He scared me. Oh, my God. Yeah, because you're tall like him.
Starting point is 00:20:03 I was looking at his chat. Oh, my God. I'm like, he actually, like, has a lead line as a goat. I know, sure. He was a lot. I thought he was a lot, but you got along with him great. I think so I've seen a couple episodes that I think one thing that works so well is that like you've said you're you know it's not the environment that you're used to but you guys have a really open kind of spirit about it it. It seems like you're really there to have fun but also to help these people out. And I think you said that Bravo kind of handpicked you guys to do it. And I don't think it would have worked with people who weren't really down to do the whole experience. Right. Right. People ask us that. They said would you ever do it with anybody? And I'm like no. Because we really are an old married couple. We like the same things and we both give back.
Starting point is 00:20:47 We like to. We like to stay busy. Well, and, you know, I think that Sonia and I have a lot of energy. Like one of the guys says in the commercial for the show is, you know, we really, we worked very long days and we had a lot of tasks to do. And Sonia and I are the kind of people that, you know, if you want something done, give it to girls that are busy. And, you know, we do a, you know, we work hard.
Starting point is 00:21:11 And I think that they thought, you know, we were kind of prissy from the way we looked and we were dressed and etc. And then they were like half of them didn't even know who we were. The other half kind of did. But I think we changed all the minds and I think that there was a lot of hurt in the show. And there is a lot of heart with these people. And, you know, we loved a lot of these people in the town. And so it made it that much easier to work with them because they were just really charming people from a small town.
Starting point is 00:21:37 And very accepting of us. They really were. I mean, we can be a lot. We got presents. We were allowed New York. and, you know, we're in heels walking into the consignment store buying everything, Lou.
Starting point is 00:21:50 Or into the firehouse. Like, you needed another statement necklace. You can never have too, Betty. Right. And, you know, and listen, to do a variety show with that many people, to pull together at town, rehearsals, and do all of that, you know, I do my cabaret,
Starting point is 00:22:03 she does her cabaret. Is it comedy or cabalesque? I do, it's cabalesque, but it's, I do comedy. Improft. You always say stand-up, but I do improv. Right. So, you know, thank God we had that kind of know-how going into this because, you know, there's a lot of moving parts with putting together a show like that and it's such a short time.
Starting point is 00:22:24 You got so nervous. I wasn't as nervous. No, she was eating popcorn in the back. I'm like, Sonia, we need to get everybody onto the stage. The variety show. Everybody gets up, does their thing. You're just so fussy about like, do my earrings match? Look at mine. Do mine match today? No. No, they don't. You see, when I do my cabaret shows, my earrings actually. actually match, but not that's a big deal. That's what I love about song. Her cabaret is a very fine-tuned show. She's been doing it, what, five years almost.
Starting point is 00:22:51 So, you know, she has a whole team. Mine's now like a one-woman show with a moderator, and I come out and do a little cabralesque. I just did it for Comedy Fest here in New York for what was that, Jennifer Coolidge thing. It was funny. Basically, Ramona says you just look at my face and people laugh. I mean, it's a talent.

Starting point is 00:24:28 And to be with Ramona and Luanne together was a gift. I mean, it just made me remember how much we love each other together. Because you and I just spent all that time, just the two of us. And of course, as soon as I get there, you know, Ramona and I want to share a room. And Luanne's like, fine, I'll be with this bitch for another 12 weeks soon. I'm sure. You know. No, I mean, you know, it was good because there actually was, we're one room short, so it was good that these two stayed together.
Starting point is 00:24:55 And I got my own private bungalow, which was awesome. Lower level. Fish room. Had a little fun over there. She doesn't even know about it. Oh, I don't know. No, you don't. Oh, did something happen?
Starting point is 00:25:06 I don't want to get you in trouble, but I'm interested to see. Well, let's call it Scary Island Part 2. Okay. Yeah, because Kelly's there. Yes. So Kelly's there. And you have, and then you have Dyrinda by day, Durinda by night.
Starting point is 00:25:22 Yeah. And then you have Kirsten. She was good though, D. She was good, though, Dee. She was good, Dee was great. And Kristen and. It was a good group. And it was a great group.
Starting point is 00:25:33 And I, you know, with that many women together, there's always going to be drama. And, you know, I feel like, um, there's a lot of laughs drama, of course. And it's scary Ellen part two. What can I tell you? Yeah, but the drama with us never. never gets mean because we're we're all friends for so long that there is a trust level we can go there
Starting point is 00:25:52 I can say to Ramona oh your face looks like a pizza with no cheese or you know I'm not gonna tell you what I said this trip because you'll have to see right right right I mean we went overboard the two of us yeah and and guess what we're in the same house as last time yes I knew that yeah okay I'm I can't wait to see it I'm excited so if there was one woman from that trip was going to join you for maybe a season two of Crappy Lake. You mean from New York House? Yeah, would it be Ramona or somebody else?
Starting point is 00:26:21 I think DeRinda. Where? To Crappy Lake. Any small town? I don't know. She just wants me for herself. No, I don't think Durinda would like it. I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:26:31 You know, she's at the manor. Blue Stone Manor. Yeah, it ain't no Blue Stone Manor, that's for sure. I mean, she was just supposed to go to New Zealand. She likes to travel. I don't, I don't know. She has a lot of energy like you. Yeah, I think Dee would be good.
Starting point is 00:26:44 I, you know, I think it's, It's not for the faint of her. Let's point it that way. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know if I can picture Ramona, no, mudding. No, Ramona can't do it because she needs. She would have seen that motel room.
Starting point is 00:26:54 She would have to air conditioning. She doesn't stay in a hotel unless she gets the measurements before and she has to have a suite. 600 thread count everything. Pallows. Oh, God. Anabella. We had a fabulous staff. Yeah, Merton.
Starting point is 00:27:08 He was great. Fantastic. Martin. St. Bartis is epic. Jean-Battiste and Minou. Munu. Minu.
Starting point is 00:27:16 See, and. I could tell you, Ramona probably doesn't know any of those names. No. She does not. Well, believe me, Martin remembers her name. Romona Stinger. We know how she loves treat staff. Well, she tips everybody a lot.
Starting point is 00:27:31 She thinks that's the Band-Aid, you know. Okay. It's better than that. But everyone loves Ramona in the end. You just get, you have to get to know the way she rolls. We had a good time with Ramona. Yeah. Oh, I really had a great time with her.
Starting point is 00:27:42 I mean, just us in the room together was so fun. and just have just the three of us together again. And D, we haven't filmed with Derinda for a while. So that was special. Yeah. I love Durinda. I think everybody's really excited. I mean, you guys have so many fans and stuff that have watched you for so many years.
Starting point is 00:28:00 Exactly. Having this show and having that in the pipeline, it's exciting for people. I think it's interesting too because you see on Housewives, we never break down that fourth wall, really. So on the ultimate girls trip, we get to break that fourth wall. So you get to learn from us. what we thought about different things that have happened throughout the years.
Starting point is 00:28:19 You know what I mean? So I think it's really interesting in that respect because we talk about a lot of things that we never get to give our perspective. And on this trip we get to talk about it all. Yeah. And I never watched the other show, so I didn't know what to do. I just do me. Yeah. Sonia is, you know.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Sometimes that's the best strategy, though. Totally. Just go, enjoy yourself. Exactly. Well, there was a lot of joy on that trip. A lot of joy. I had a great time with Kelly. You did? You didn't even know. I said, Kelly said to you, oh, you know, we've been away for like 20 minutes ago.
Starting point is 00:28:51 Didn't notice, darling. That sounds like me. No, I don't like sand and I had it all in my suit and everything. So Kelly's very, she's very nurturing. She's an artist. And I enjoy. Kelly's an artist? What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:29:03 She's a real estate. Yeah, but she took the photo. She's a photo. She took photos. She has a fashion line. She has a jewelry line. I know. She brought us all these gifts on the show.
Starting point is 00:29:14 And she's like, we're not. We're not unpacking all these guests. Oh, yeah, she brought it all on the show. And the $43 million houses she sold. No, she's a best story, man. Now she has to sell your townhouse, Sonia. Now, let's put her into the real test. Let her sell your townhouse.
Starting point is 00:29:27 I thought she just wanted to come over and help me stage it because the renters are there. And now she's texting me, let's get this co-listing go. I don't know she wanted a co-list. So we'll have to see. Maybe, uh. And most people just want a picture from me. If they either want to sell my house or have a photo.
Starting point is 00:29:42 Well, I'm so excited for people to see this show. I really think it's a different side of you guys in this town in Illinois. And there is a lot of joy in this show too. And I think people are going to love it. A lot of her and a lot of fun along the way, you know, helping people in small towns. You know, this hopefully is just the first of many. Oh, I'm pretty sure they're excited about it. Andy said it's revolutionary and he has no, he's not in the game.
Starting point is 00:30:08 Yeah. Not producing it. And he said it, he shouted us out several times. It's really good. Yeah. I actually went to watch what happened. happens live recently and he was like talking about it just Oh you read that one? In commercial breaks and stuff he was excited yeah no he called me
Starting point is 00:30:21 He said Lou I don't laugh at a lot of things yeah but this is a laugh out loud funny yeah So that's a very good and you can play it over and over at parties it's rapid fire 30 minutes The 30 minutes episode's good boom boom boom it's good I know we're excited that's nice well Thank you guys so much for being here thanks don't I can't wait to see all of your upcoming shows And our do goodery and uh yeah back on cabaret tour this falls back on cabaret Great tour, yes.
