Starting point is 00:00:46 Welcome back to the Mention at All podcast, and welcome to another week. I am freshly back from Miami, where I attended Bravo Fan Fest. We're going to talk a little bit about that. We've got some OC reunion wrap-up thoughts to get to. We're going to touch on Potomac a little bit. Um, we've got some news that Schwartz and Sandies is closing. We're going to talk through that. How is everyone doing? It's Monday. It's Thanksgiving week. I'm sure a lot of you are taking time off and traveling home to see family and loved ones this week. And I think that's great. Uh, we're going to have an
Starting point is 00:01:23 episode today and an episode on Wednesday of this week. So you guys will have, have something to listen to, but, you know, let's be honest. Thursday, I think we're all going to have other things on our mind. but let's talk about Miami. I returned home on Sunday. I had a chance to say Wicked last night, so I am fully caught up in that sense. You know who else saw Wicked? Along with, you know, half of the population,
Starting point is 00:01:48 Brittany Bateman from Salt Lake City, she has, she's really been feeling herself on social media lately in a way that I find fascinating and a little refreshing, because usually I feel like when a housewife is enjoying attention on social media, it's either posting face-tuned photos of themselves a la, you know, a Meredith Marx or, dare I say, a nini leeks, Larsa Pippin, a lot of them. Or it's, you know, a Bethany kind of thing, like a trying to get attention, you know,
Starting point is 00:02:23 going on a rant, complaining, XYZ. Brittany's social media has been sort of wholesome in a way that I am not used to seeing from Bravo Leberties. She's been doing a lot of TikTok trends and things like that, sort of maybe getting like 75% of the way there on executing these trends properly. But more importantly, we have discovered that Brittany can sing. She can sing. She really likes to sing. and now that we know that she can sing, she really likes to remind us that she can sing with videos of herself singing on the internet. And there's nothing wrong with this, but it is just, it's like quirky in a way that maybe at the beginning of this season of Salt Lake City,
Starting point is 00:03:13 Brittany doesn't really seem quirky when you first meet her. But then, you know, you see her kind of handling these relationships or really failing to handle these relationships. You see her trying to sort of stick up for herself in these weird situations. And at Mary's brunch, she's like, what about me? Strange, strange energy, but she posted a video of herself, just singing Defying Gravity. And you know what? I salute her. Because everybody is holding space for Devying Gravity right now. And Brittany Bateman is no different than the rest of us. Is she going to challenge Cynthia Arrivo for the role in Wicked Part too. I mean, obviously they've already filmed it, but just in, in theory, I don't think she's quite at that level. I don't think her voice is really built for defying gravity. I think she has more
Starting point is 00:04:04 of like a Disney princess kind of sound. And I don't mean that in a bad way. It's just defying gravity. It's a tough, it's a tough hang. But Brittany, you know, keep on singing and keep on trying to get people to like you. Because I can tell it's a little bit of an uphill battle right now. But let's talk about fan fest a little bit. My time in Miami, my whirlwind of a weekend. I may have said this before. This was my second time to Miami, and both times have been exclusively for Bravo events.
Starting point is 00:04:38 And look, I'm sure Miami is a lovely place, but I have got to go there sometime when I am not, you know, on a schedule of attending Housewives-related events because I just, it hasn't been hitting. Miami hasn't hit for me yet, and I need to experience it the right way. But experiencing it for Bravo Fanfest was certainly a way. And one of the questions that I have been seeing from people who weren't there this weekend, or maybe have gone to BravoCon before and were wondering if they should go to this, you know, it was a little different. People have been asking kind of like,
Starting point is 00:05:14 what is Bravo Fanfest compared to BravoCon? Because on the face of it, they sort of seem like same idea. And the idea is the same. Honestly, it's just overall a smaller event, both in terms of the number of days that it was, the venue that it was at the amount of talent, which is a big, really the biggest difference, I think. And just sort of like the overall, like, commitment of it just felt a lot more, a lot more relaxed than BravoCon. So it was at this space in Miami, it's like a, it was called Ice Palace Studios. And it's basically just like a big empty building, but not like a convention center the way that BravoCon has been the last couple years. And so there were watch what happens live tapings on Thursday and Friday in the evenings. I went to one on
Starting point is 00:06:06 Friday that was snowflakes and peaches, which I think will be airing this Wednesday because it's going to be after the Salt Lake episode. And so from Salt Lake, it was Lisa and Heather and Meredith. in Miami this weekend. And from Atlanta, it was Fadra, Portia and Cynthia Bailey. Now, Cynthia Bailey is going to be a friend of on this season of Real Houseways of Atlanta. Did I say Miami? I meant Atlanta. I don't know. Portia's coming back for the first time in a while. Fadra's coming back for the first time in a while. She's not even going to be on the beginning of the season. We still haven't seen. They showed one little clip from this season that's going to come up. Andy said in the new year. I am so excited for.
Starting point is 00:06:50 for the season of Atlanta, just because it really feels like the energy is going to be fresh and different. And Andy confirmed at his Ask Andy panel on Saturday that Kenya will be featured on this season and that we will see the whole situation with her kind of being fired from the show. We will see that play out, at least in some form. So that was really interesting because I don't think we had kind of confirmation of how that was going to be handled on the show. But the watch what happens live I went to was really fun. You know, it was a good, people were into it. It was fun to see the women. I mean, Salt Lake City right now is such a great show. They're really doing great. So people were really excited to see them. I mean, Portia and Fadra coming back to the Housewives fold, I think, is something that people have been waiting for. I mean, Fadra is like truly a fan favorite at this point. I have, and I know like from online, we know that, but I've seen her this year at a couple of different events where she shows up kind of like a among other people and is just like that girl.
Starting point is 00:07:54 Like if you're on stage with Lisa Barlow and Heather and Portia and you're the one that is sort of like commanding the room, that says something. And I mean, Fadra looks great. She always comes prepared with a good comeback. She gives facial expressions. She is, I think, ready to snatch back that crown on Atlanta this season. And I'll be really interested to see married to medicine came back last night.
Starting point is 00:08:22 I'm not going to get to it today, but I will in coming weeks. She's on married to medicine this season. She is only going to be in like the back half or third of Atlanta this season. But I'm curious to see sort of how big of an impact she makes in the time that she's back because she really has been like one of the top tier Bravo Lebs the last year or so. So I'm excited to see her back. The event on Saturday, it was from. like doors at nine, ended at six.
Starting point is 00:08:51 I think the difference between BravoCon and Fanfest is that like at BravoCon, it's three full days and it feels like you are constantly running from thing to thing to thing because pretty much they have had the full casts of every current Bravo show at BravoCon. You know, with a few specific exceptions, it's the full cast of every Housewives franchise. It's the full cast of Vanderpump. It's the full cast of Southern Charm. You've got like a dozen below deck people there. You've got everybody from married to medicine.
Starting point is 00:09:29 You've got, you know, random people from Top Chef or Project Run. Like, there is such an abundance of talent that there really is so much on the schedule, whether you're prioritizing photo ops with Bravo Lebrides or panels or, you know, kind of little extra. stuff. There's little add-ons, there's meet and greets. At Bravo Fanfest, it was much easier to sort of feel like you could do everything, which was nice. I mean, I was there at the beginning of the day, I was working with State Farm, and so I stopped by their activation, which was really cool to get some content there. They had like some, their thing was the closet by Bravo. So they had some outfits and artifacts and things from Bravo shows. And there were a lot of different photo ops. There
Starting point is 00:10:18 were panels. Now, because there weren't full cast in attendance, the panels were more like mash-up kind of things. So like I went to part of a panel that was Bravo Besties and it was moderated by Rachel Lindsay, who is so great. She's, she really does a great job in that kind of space. And so it was pairs of people from all different shows. So it was like, Uber and Aaron from New York and Meredith and Lisa and it was, I don't know, I'm like, I can't think of everybody that was on the panel. But also, Kyle and Amanda, which I was like, who dropped out of this last minute that they had to put Kyle and Amanda on the BFF panel? What? Like, first of all, their husband and wife, so it doesn't really count. But second of all, they don't even get along
Starting point is 00:11:09 half the time. I don't know. Toya and Simone were there from married to medicine. They looked great. The entire Real Housewives of Miami cast was there, which was fun to see all of them. Obviously, they're sort of the outlier in the talent that was there because, A, they had the full cast, but B, they are still filming their upcoming season. They actually, they just, just like in the last week or so got back from a cast trip to Spain, which I'm really excited to see. But then they were leaving, immediately after this event, they were leaving to go on a cruise. A cruise cast trip on Housewives is wild. And I, I for one, can't wait to see that. Like, what? Imagine, imagine you're on a, it's like a passenger cruise. Imagine you're like at the
Starting point is 00:12:01 cruise restaurant and you see Larsa and Lisa. Actually, Larsa and Lisa are in, not friends currently, so I guess they wouldn't be together. I don't know, but I cannot wait to see that. I don't know much about their upcoming season, but I'm excited for it, and I love seeing all of them. From Potomac, they had Wendy and Mia there, which was kind of a random choice to me. Like, I really am curious, because for the most part, it was all these current and upcoming airing shows, and they had like two to three people from each. And so for Potomac to only be represented by Wendy and Mia, Now, this is no shade to Wendy and Mia because I like them both. I think they're both good housewives.
Starting point is 00:12:39 But it's like if you were picking the two people that you would have represent that show, it seems very strange to me that you wouldn't have any of the three remaining OGs. And so I'm wondering kind of like, I don't know how they decided on who was coming to this. And I don't know if some people turned it down or if there were scheduling conflicts or, you know, clearly it seemed like they were kind of trying to have people who get along with each other from each show. So like for Beverly Hills, they had Kyle and Garcel. And like, obviously love Kyle, love Garcel.
Starting point is 00:13:18 It probably would have been more interesting or exciting for the fans if they had like Kyle and Derreet. But then it becomes a whole thing. And obviously that's something that they've had to deal with at BravoCon some years of like, okay, so we have the whole. Salt Lake City cast in the room that really can't be in the room together, but they have to be in the room together. So, like, that's a whole nightmare that I think for this, they, it just seemed like they didn't really want to deal with that this weekend. Shep and Madison were there from Southern
Starting point is 00:13:45 Charm. Sierra and Jesse were also there from Summer House. Summerhouse, weirdly, had the most people of any show other than Real Houseways of Miami. Again, I don't, I don't know how these decisions were made, but it was a fun mix of people. But I think if you have been to BravoCon, if you're or if you're thinking about going to BravoCon next year, which they've announced the dates for, it's in Vegas, in November next year. Tickets have not gone on sale yet, but you can, you know, they had a QR code to scan to book your hotel for BravoCon next year. And I'm like, that makes me want to go to bed and never wake up again because like, what? Imagine booking a hotel for next November. I probably should. I don't know. But if I would say, if you feel like you're in the
Starting point is 00:14:29 market for BravoCon, I think you were okay to skip this. And that's not anything negative about the event. I think it just is like, it felt very much like there's no BravoCon this year. What is something we can still do to kind of give people a taste? And they've been doing that. They've done watch parties in New York and L.A. for a few different shows. They've done this cocktail experience that I went to over the summer. There's been, you know, lots of different kind of smaller things happening. And I think it's it's fun to see them get creative with what they can do, but at the same time, BravoCon is BravoCon and this wasn't that, and it wasn't supposed to be. So I think that's kind of where I would place it. If you have never been to BravoCon and you think it sounds fun,
Starting point is 00:15:15 next November, Vegas, that's the one you should go to. I met so many people this weekend. First of all, if you came up and said hi, or even if you didn't get a chance to, it was so nice to meet all of you guys always always i encourage people to to come say hi to me and i met a bunch of you this weekend and it was really lovely meeting and taking photos and stuff like that um but if you haven't been um you were okay there were a lot of florida people there were a lot of you know Miami locals um so it was a little bit of a chiller vibe than bravo con for sure so good so good everything you want for summer is at Nordstrom rack stores now and up to 60% off stock up and save on the brands you love like Vince, Sam Edelman, Frame and Free People.
Starting point is 00:16:00 Join the Norty Club to unlock exclusive discounts, shop new arrivals first, and more. Plus, buy online and pick up at your favorite rack store for free. Great brands, great prices. That's why you rack. Girl, winter is so last season. And now Springs got you looking at pictures of tank tops with hungry eyes. Your algorithm is feeding you cutoffs. You're thirsty for the sun on your shoulders.
Starting point is 00:16:26 That perfect hang on the patio. sundress, those sandals you can wear all day and all night. And you've had enough of shopping from your couch. Done hoping it looks anything like the picture when you tear up on that envelope. It's time for a little in-person spring treat. It's time for a trip to Ross. Work your magic. Let's talk about Schwartz and Sandys. So Tom Sandival and Tom Schwartz both posted statements that were slightly different. But I'm just going to read Tom Sandivalls because frankly, I think it's a little more interesting to unpack. But this is what Sandoval had to say. With a heavy heart, we've made the difficult decision to close Schwartz and Sandys at the end of December. This hasn't been an easy
Starting point is 00:17:13 choice for my partners and me, but other priorities and commitments have taken hold. While this business venture has been an incredible stepping stone in my life, one I will always cherish. I look forward to exciting new endeavors. To our incredible staff and everyone who supported us along the way, You deserve the true recognition. I can't thank you enough for your endless commitment to making shorts and sands a place of everlasting memories, yada, yada, yada, yada. We'll be hosting a series of events, closing night, whatever, blah, blah, blah. This is the part that I really wanted to read. The allure of being associated with reality TV has hidden what is an amazing spot and location for L.A. locals as well.
Starting point is 00:17:52 I highly recommend you check us out, especially if you haven't yet. Let's get together one last time, Sanfal. The allure of being associated with reality TV has hidden what is an amazing spot. The allure of reality TV is why people know that this place exists. And the reason that maybe they don't want to go there is not the allure of reality TV. It's because it's owned by a guy who is most famous for putting his dick in someone that wasn't his girlfriend. Like, the restaurant is a flop. It's closing.
Starting point is 00:18:29 Why are we still trying to like bend the truth through this like refracted lens and make it a thing of like reality TV is holding you back? My guy, before the restaurant even opened, people knew that you were like not a good person. I don't know. I mean, I don't know if this was ever going to be the world's most successful bar and grill and whatever it is. But I do, I really wonder like if Scandival had never happened. this place could have done just fine. I think that the location was always working against it. It is not, if you are, if you are not familiar with the LA geography,
Starting point is 00:19:10 it is not in that same stretch where all the other like Vanderpump spots are. It's not in as central of a location, I would say. So that probably wouldn't have helped. But like back in the day, if there had been another Vanderpump spot, people would have gone. people specifically didn't go to Schwartz and Sandys because they didn't want to support you. And yeah, it's, I mean, it really does suck that all the employees and everybody else who's involved is now going to be out of work right around the holidays. I mean, that's the unfortunate reality of this, that when a business fails, it's not just the person who owns it that is, that is kind of going through it. And I mean, even Tom Sandival is not the sole owner of this.
Starting point is 00:19:57 There are multiple partners. I mean, he took money from people. Not took. I mean, people gave him money to do this, whatever. But yeah, I mean, this is not shocking. Like, it was a side business venture for somebody who's passed their prime on reality TV. And it lasted, I don't know, two years. It is what it is.
Starting point is 00:20:19 The restaurant business is hard. So, I mean, there are, you know, maybe I dragged him a little bit. It's not his. I guess it's not his fault. Those one-star Yelp reviews probably didn't help. I don't know. The crazy thing about this is that Vanderpump Rules still hasn't started filming anything. We don't know when they're going to.
Starting point is 00:20:42 If they're going to, what that's going to look like. Andy was asked over the weekend if he has updates on Vanderpump Rules, and he basically said, no, but expect something soon, which means that like they're at least working on it. There have been some some rumors going around that I've seen that I haven't really gotten into of like there's, you know, salary disputes and contract things that are holding back this show from coming back and that La La wants whatever and Ariana wants too much money. And I don't know exactly what's happening with the Vanderpump Rules contract negotiations.
Starting point is 00:21:22 Frankly, I don't think it's that interesting. but I am interested in like what is ultimately going to happen. And I think it's safe to say that Schwartz and Sandy aren't going to quit this show when they clearly, their other business venture isn't going so hot. So we'll see what happens. But yeah, I hope everybody who was working at Schwartz and Sandys has other opportunities and hopefully better opportunities coming down the pipeline because it is unfortunate. I guess we should talk about the Orange County reunion.
Starting point is 00:21:52 I feel like I have not really been able to do this reunion justice because of some scheduling things that have happened. I think that this reunion, which wrapped up this past Thursday, I think it was a really interesting sort of unique example of a three-part reunion that ultimately was dominated pretty much for two full parts by a single storyline and a single. topic, but it really, it didn't feel like it was bloated or stretched to three parts just for something to program. It felt really compelling the whole way. And I think part of that was because Alexis Bellino was in the end so unable to take any kind of step back, and listen or think through or reprocess anything that was being said to her. And it actually, of course, it was annoying. Like, Alexis seems very annoying.
Starting point is 00:23:08 And I can't imagine sitting on the couch with her and having to like listen to that all day. But I think Alexis is so far in the tank for John Jansen that there's just nothing, Shannon or anyone else on that stage could do to get anywhere with her. And it was so wild to look back at the beginning of the season when Alexis said that her intention was, you know, to squash all her animosity with Shannon and, you know, to get to a better place. It's like literally that was never something that it seemed like you were interested in on the show. And I do really feel like at the end of the day, maybe there wasn't, maybe there wasn't progress made between Alexis and Shannon on the reunion. But I almost think that there would have been, it would have seemed unearned if there was.
Starting point is 00:24:01 Like, if Alexis all of a sudden, after this whole season of making Shannon's life a living hell, had come to the reunion and been like, okay, everything I said, I stand by, but I still want to be friends with Shannon. what can we do? That would have seemed like bullshit because it's like you had probably every chance to be friends with Shannon and you didn't ever seem like you were willing to take a step back and just listen to her. So I was I was almost a little thankful that the way it worked out it felt like everybody kind of was seeing Shannon's side a little bit and you know, Katie seems reluctant to take a side. Jen Padranti seems reluctant to take a side. Jen Padranti seems reluctant to take aside. They're like, I don't know. Alexis was nice to me. And it's like, right, right, right, right, right. I understand that you don't want to hate somebody that you've never met before or pass judgment on somebody that hasn't ever done anything to you. But at a certain point, if you're friends with Shannon and you're sitting there and watching the way that Alexis is speaking to her and handling this situation, you have enough information to decide that Alexis,
Starting point is 00:25:17 is not somebody you want to be friends with. I don't think that's a situation where it makes sense to be like, well, she was always nice to me. I'm sorry, maybe I'm just not that nice of a person, or maybe I'm not that forgiving, but I'm like, if I'm Shannon in that situation, I'm like, bitch, you got to pick aside. Because you're saying that you want to be friends with me,
Starting point is 00:25:38 and this woman is like relentlessly coming for me. Sorry, we can't all just pretend that it's normal. So I don't know. I mean, I definitely don't think Alexis is going to be back on this show in any kind of major capacity. I think Shannon at the end of the day had a pretty good reunion, despite how unpleasant I'm sure it was for her. I think she honestly, that was kind of the story of her season. That coming in, she seemed like she was in a really vulnerable position with her DUI and everything that happened. with that and then bringing her her ex's new woman on the show. And I think that Shannon by
Starting point is 00:26:22 sort of taking accountability for her mistakes, but then also really just sort of like weathering the storm of Alexis, it feels like Shannon kind of comes out the hero of this season a little bit. And I do wonder, I mean, Alexis posted this whole screed on Instagram the other day about how hurt and whatever she was by watching the reunion. And I don't feel the need to get into it. I mean, like truly, it's over. Who cares? But I do wonder if Alexis will ever be able to kind of take stock of this season and this experience and realize that like things could have gone so different for her if she had just like taken a different approach. And Alexis Bolino could have had an amazing comeback. And, you know, it just, it didn't happen. And it is what it.

Today we're going to get into which housewives are in the splash zone. Who's in the hot seat and who's making the biggest splash in the bravo sphere this week? You guys, I was trying to figure out who was going to be in the splash zone this week between, you know, husbands on Beverly Hills, husbands on Salt Lake City, you know, housewives on Beverly Hills. There's a lot going on and a lot of stuff I've already gotten to talk about. But you know one little story that came across my desk that I didn't get a chance to talk about last week that I just, oh, it made me giggle. made me just have a little chuckle. And this is, um, this is the page six article. And the headline is
Starting point is 00:29:24 R-H-O-B-H-B-H-Star Sutton Strack claims Kyle Richards tried to, quote, hook up with Kevin Costner in Aspen. Look. Can we just laugh for a second? Can we just giggle together? I mean, so this is originating from the Beverly Hills after show, which I am not, I'm not a religious after-show watcher. I dabble in it when I feel like it's necessary. I watch it when I remember to. To be honest, a lot of the time I'm recording and recapping these episodes before the after show has aired. Sometimes it's juicy. Sometimes it's not. A lot of the time, you know, it's a little bit of extra content to nibble at. These days, we have a lot to keep up with. So I haven't been scrounging for content. But when I saw this, I was like, now what is going on on the Beverly Hills after show
Starting point is 00:30:10 with Sutton talking about Kevin Costner and Kyle Richards? So here's the setup. So on the after show, you know, they pair together the housewives, like the little groups of twos and threes, but usually who they're getting along with. So Sutton is doing the after show right now with Garcel and Jennifer Tilly, which that to me is like the perfect trio of, I want to go to lunch with them and, you know, have a couple drinks, you know, have some oysters, you know, maybe a Caesar salad and some French fries. I want the gossip from Garcell, Sutton, and Jennifer. And Sutton is bringing the gossip. And Sutton is bringing the to the Beverly Hills Aftershow, where she said that Kyle was in Aspen and Kevin Costner was there, and Kyle told Sutton, according to Sutton, that she was trying to hook up with Kevin Costner.
Starting point is 00:30:57 And they're saying this, of course, in the context of on the show, this season, Kyle is still, you know, facing questions about her relationship or lack thereof with Morgan Wade. And she doesn't even want to say her name because it's been so much going on in the tabloids. But Sutton's like, well, I don't think it can just all be Morgan because she was trying to hook up with Kevin Costner. And look, did this happen? Who knows? That is not, it's not my job. Alleged, alleged, alleged. But apparently, according to page six, you know, they're doing the digging. They're doing the work that needs to be done. They figured out based on, I think, some photos that were posted that both Kyle and Kevin Costner were in Aspen in December 2020. So that might be when this
Starting point is 00:31:39 attempt to hook up with him happened. It doesn't seem like anything actually happens. But I do, I do just love the detail in this article. Page 6 has reached out to reps for Richards and Kossner for comment. Now, just imagine Kevin Kossner, not the most, I would say, probably reality TV aware person in the world, just if I had to guess. So just the mental image of imagining if his publicist or his manager or whoever is, whoever page 6 is reaching out to, They're on their daily call. You know, he's talking about whether he's going to get Horizon Part 3 produced or whether he's going back to Yellowstone. Oh, oh, Mr. Costner, just one other thing.
Starting point is 00:32:20 Page 6 reached out for comment. Yes. So on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after show, a woman named Sutton Strach claimed that in December 20203, you were in Aspen and Kyle Richards, who it sounds like is a different one of the Real Housewives. that she was trying to hook up with you. Just like, imagine the look on Kevin Costner's face hearing that sentence. You know, like, when there's the meme of like, this would kill a Victorian child, that sentence, I think, would kill Kevin Costner. He would be so bewildered.
Starting point is 00:32:58 By the way, Kevin Costner, I thought he was married. He is single. He got divorced last. No, he got divorced this year. So maybe he wasn't single in December 2023. I don't know. That's not my job to figure out. And also, it doesn't sound like anything happened. I think we would know if it did, because Kyle would probably shout it from the rooftops to remind us that she's not in a relationship with Morgan Wade. Oh, boy. Oh, boy, oh boy, oh, boy. Certainly that made a splash in my life just now, because I just had a lot of fun walking us through that scenario together. But thank you to our sponsor, splash refresher. Available in five craveable flavors, wildberry, assaee grape, pineapple mango, lemon, lemon, and mandarin orange. Ooh, I think a mandarin orange sounds delicious right now. I think that's what I'm going to go for right when I

I do want to talk just really briefly about that scene that's like 36 hours after the end of the taping. And there's been this revelation that John revealed the night of filming the finale for this season. I thought it was the night of filming the reunion at first, and I was like, oh, okay, this happened really quick. And then it's revealed that this was actually after the finale. And so, you know, Heather and Tamara, I guess, have had this information for a while and didn't want to bring it up, whatever, that John admitted or acknowledged that the night of Shannon's accident and DUI that he had heard the car crash and that he wanted to go running and his kids told him not to or didn't want him to.
Starting point is 00:34:39 but that was a thing this whole season that Shannon was torn up over the idea of what if John did hear the crash and didn't come help me and she thought she was never going to know. And so to hear that he admitted it, I mean, it is kind of crazy. I think that kind of was the nail in the coffin a little bit for like the John and Alexis side of things because even I think after Alexis left the reunion couch and those last few minutes when Tamara and Shannon had like a little glimmer of there's a core of love there, Tamara could sense that Alexis and John were like doing too much.
Starting point is 00:35:30 Fool me 74 times. Shame on me. But like Tamara and Shannon have a long relationship. and we'll see. What I am most hopeful for is they will get cameras back up on OC pretty quick because looking down the pipeline, we have a lot of housewives on the television right now, but in six months' time, we're going to have Miami and Atlanta and not much else. And so what I would like is filming maybe by beginning of January, new season by the summer, summer. Does that sound good, ladies? Let's get information. Okay. I'm just going to touch on Potomac quickly. Now that OC is over, I think we'll be able to spend a little bit more time on Mondays talking about Potomac and of course married to medicine that I mentioned earlier.
Starting point is 00:36:25 Karen's court date got postponed. Big surprise. I mean, that's kind of how the legal system works in our country. But also for Karen, I think it's a little bit convenient that her court date got postponed to after filming is over. So now she essentially has a free pass not to talk about the details of her case for the whole season. I'm sure she's not so upset about that. GNA is still a thing.
Starting point is 00:36:50 Now it's GNA Fusion. They're having some kind of workout class on a rooftop and Ashley is performing another song. Brittany Bateman's a better singer than Ashley. I'll tell you that much. Look, I appreciate Ashley's musical little dabblings. I don't think that she has the pipes for that song. Look, coffee and love was like a cute little, a cute little bop without much going on vocally. I think that's more Ashley's Lane. Whatever
Starting point is 00:37:19 this song is, is not, it's not working for her. I don't know, but I love Stacy's little commentary. She's like, the effort that she put in to hit the notes. But she's finally getting ready to file for divorce. And we know in real time that she now has filed for divorce from Michael. So thank God. Wendy's 40th birthday party, she shows up on a boat, of course. The big thing happening this week is there's still like Mia and Gordon issues that are being talked about. The comment that Gordon made on the last week's episode about Mia having an abortion in the past,
Starting point is 00:37:57 she's really upset about that, which like with good reason, that's a wild thing to bring up without somebody's permission on camera. it's interesting the way that the group is kind of handling this information. And specifically the way that Giselle, and Giselle's not the only one, but she kind of stuck out the most to me, is saying like, Mia doesn't always tell the truth. Sometimes she makes up stories, yada, yada, yada. So now I'm wondering if I can believe anything that Mia says. And like I do just feel like we should be really, really careful to be like skeptical of someone's. story that they're telling when the topic of conversation is whether or not Mia had an abortion
Starting point is 00:38:44 in the past tied to some sort of affair that she was having. Like, first of all, Gordon is the one that said it. We watched him bring it up on the show last week. Mia's not claiming out of thin air that she had this procedure. But also, it's just like, Jazeal, what are you doing? What's going on? Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, just out, please. it just feels like it's going to spiral to like an icky place and I don't I don't want it to be that because
Starting point is 00:39:12 clearly Mia's already going through it enough with this you know ink and Gordon situation the other moment I put down on my notes is when they're sitting at the table at this party and there's all these white flowers and stacey says stacey and tj are there together tj weirdo and stacey asks tj just like making conversation if he likes the flowers on the table. And he says, that's a girl question. What does that mean? Quickly.
Starting point is 00:39:46 TJ, what does that mean? That's a girl question. First of all, how old are you? What year is it? How insecure are you in your masculinity that she asks you if you like the flowers that are on the table? First of all, like, you, can we not? These people. Stacey. Stacey? Stacey. Let's come on. I think I want better for her, but I don't know if she wants better for herself. And that makes me a little nervous. That's going to be up for today. We had a lot of different stuff to get to. And we likewise, we will be back on Wednesday. with lots more to get into.
