Episode Date: February 10, 2026

On this week’s Tuesday episode, Dylan is joined by Southern Charm’s Rodrigo Reyes to break down the messiest parts of the season so far. They get into the Austen and Audrey situation, the Sally fl...irting problem, and how that engagement party turned into chaos. Starting point is 00:00:27 See Home Depot.com slash price match for details. Hey everyone, welcome back to the Mentioned at All podcast. I have been loving the season of Southern Charm. There's so much mess to get into. And I'm excited to have a new guest here today to talk about it with me. Rodrigo Reyes, welcome. Thanks for having me. I appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:00:49 I appreciate you being here. It's a cold week in New York and you've braved to the cold with no socks. Yeah, no socks and just like, you know. Look, at a certain way, you kind of just have to like let go and let God. You're like, we're doing it. I don't care. I was like just, you know, at this, throw me, throw me loose. out into the wild.
Starting point is 00:01:08 Just let me be. It's your third season on Southern Charm. How does it feel now that you have a couple of those reps under your belt to be like back in the saddle? How has it changed for you in those three years? You know, like honestly, like I was there like season one. Like I filmed like with the original cast like season one and never really dealt with like the press side of things
Starting point is 00:01:32 because luckily nothing that I said or did season one was even worth using instead of me in the background. You're busy with like Thomas and Catherine over here. Yeah, they're like Thomas like Thomas and Catherine are going through pregnancy scares and Rodriguez staying in the background not knowing what to do with his hands.
Starting point is 00:01:52 You're like it took a second to be like really in the mix there. Yeah. So I mean it's good because you know, we're doing this while our friends. It's not like we're strangers. Like I think that makes it better because you know we are all friends that have known each other. I have a long history together.
Starting point is 00:02:07 So tell me a little bit about like your kind of backstory of where you fit in with different people in the group because I feel like the Charleston community is so small. It's always a million like, oh, I've known this person for 10 years. Like where was your kind of like original link back? My original person was Shep. I met Shep. I want to say now like 16 years ago. I met him through mutual friends that we had like and we started hanging out.
Starting point is 00:02:35 and then Shep brought Whitney around to a house party one night. And I said this earlier today, but Whitney came up to this house party and somehow discovered that his documentary was being played on TV and then try to usher people that he just met into like from the kitchen into the living room to watch his documentary. And everyone was like, the hell's going on here?
Starting point is 00:02:57 Like, what the hell? And it's funny. And then a few years later, the show kind of became like out of, you know, birth out of witty. Whitney's head and, you know, just being part of that and hanging out in the background with everybody. That sounds like such a Whitney experience where he's like, oh, I have a documentary in the other room. I will say this season, Whitney, like, I had so much fun with him. He first off is probably one of the most hilarious people that I know.
Starting point is 00:03:23 He has a great sense of humor. I mean, he has a great heart, too. Like, that's the kind of thing that gets lost in the shuffle of things. But he's a really good guy. And I think he has this persona that he's just. and like some guitar playing like like you know man about town exactly i was like well yes but there's a little more than that yeah well i think it's interesting because like you said he sort he was so involved in the creation of the show and obviously he's always been appearing on it but like he has that
Starting point is 00:03:54 kind of like he he pops in here and there you'll see he'll he'll be at you know a party at his mom's house he's at you know austin's birthday dinner but like i feel like he knows he knows how much he wants to be kind of in the mix versus like, I'll let the kids. Yeah, I think, again, it's like hops, you know, it's like a jump rub. Like he knows when to jump in and he certainly knows not when to like be way away from it. But, you know,
Starting point is 00:04:19 you'll see like they showed the midseason trailer and you see Whitney's with us in Mexico, which is really funny. But it's funny to see a vampire out on a beach, you know what I mean? I feel, Whitney does have a little bit of vampire energy. she. Like he's 400 years old. Up late at night.
Starting point is 00:04:40 Drinks the blood of the young. Sinners too, starring Whitney. I feel like almost though, like this show has been around for such a long time. And the way that Charleston, just kind of the vibe, it feels like almost like everyone in Charleston
Starting point is 00:04:54 has kind of like woven their way through Southern Charm at some point. It's like it'll get you sooner or later. Yeah, I think so. I mean, in this group of like 10, And like everyone's so connected. Yeah. I feel at some point, I mean, it's hard not to know other people and other groups in this town.
Starting point is 00:05:13 Right. That's how it is. Yeah. I mean, like you go to, you go to Charleston and it's like, oh, Leva has a restaurant or a club, like every 50 feet. Like, everybody's so connected. Oh, my God, it just reminds me. She invited me to a event on Monday. I didn't go.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Oh, my God. I'm sorry, Leva. I meant to go. Are you? You're in trouble now? Oh, man, she's like, I was very sweet of her, too. And I feel, leave me alone.
Starting point is 00:05:42 Yeah, I mean, again, the town is so small, but now, like, Leva has one, two, four places on King Street. It's a lot. I mean, it's great, but it's, like, a whole thing. Yeah. Listen, I'm proud of her. I love Leva. Like, she's just a fantastic, good soul.
Starting point is 00:05:59 And, you know, I miss, like, having her be part of the mix. I feel like people always gave her shit, but I feel like she imparts wisdom on people that need to hear it. And she's a truth teller. And if you don't like it, then well. Totally. And I think Southern Charm is an interesting dynamic because you have like whatever's always going on with those guys with Austin and Craig and Shep,
Starting point is 00:06:23 which we can talk about. And then like there's always some sort of like who's hooking up with who kind of thing going on. But like you, I feel like Southern Charm has always had. those people in the cast who sort of dish out a little bit of that tough love or or sort of comment on something ridiculous that's happening. I feel like back in the day Cameron was so great at that. Like Madison has that instinct.
Starting point is 00:06:44 I think you do. Leva. Leva was great at that. Like that's, I think that's a key part of the mix of the cast that it's not just like everybody doing the same, you know, get drunk, make out, whatever. Like you have to have those kind of layers. Yeah. And I mean, you brought up Cameron.
Starting point is 00:07:00 And she was, you know, she was masterful at it. She knew how to, like, she knew how to, like, corral these guys and, like, check them. And I feel like they respected her. Uh-huh. And I think that meant a lot. And I feel like after Cameron's, like, departure, you kind of saw these guys become a lot more unruly than they were before. Because Cameron really did kind of crack that whip on them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:25 And sometimes it's like, they don't want to hear it. That's the problem. They don't, they don't want to hear the reality of how they behave and how that affects other people. So when you have people actually pushing that in front, like holding them a mirror to them, they get all, you know, they get extra butt hurt about it. And it's like, hey, sorry, babe. I'm not here to kiss your ass. I'm here to show you. So I feel like it's too, because like you think about like Craig the last couple years when he was in his relationship with Page and there was kind of that thing of like, you know, I need to, I'm a public figure. I have to keep things together. Like I need to have, you know, I can't be out partying every night or, you know, you know, I can't be out partying every night or, you know, you know, know, Shep had, I think, Bravo Khan a few years ago was like really kind of on one and was like, wait, does something happen?
Starting point is 00:08:10 He was like, I, you know, I need to be more put together. I don't know. I feel like everybody kind of goes through their ups and downs of like. No, no, no, no. I'm kidding. I was there. Okay. I'm sure you heard.
Starting point is 00:08:22 I mean, Shep loves BravoCon. I know. I think you love BravoCon too, though. I've had some good times. I feel like at BravoCon this past year, you were like kind of a social butterfly. I was. And actually my first one, like, I was, like, hanging around with, like, Margaret and Durinda at some nightclub. And then with, um, Taylor, Taylor from Beverly Hills. It is kind of crazy just to have, like, everyone in the same spot. And I mean, clearly you, you know, you know, the
Starting point is 00:08:50 housewives and things like that where it's like, oh, yeah, like, this is a, this is a moment. Listen, like, any time, like to spend moments with the housewives where I'm like, this, I can't leave this. These women are just absolutely iconic. And I said this like my first reunion for season nine, like Dorenda took me out to lunch and it was just beyond like just so sweet because she wanted to give me just advice on how to handle your first reunion. And like I can, I was so grateful for how she like laid it out for me. She was like, it's like you're playing football. She's like your, your competitors almost. But, you know, know you guys are all have like this camaraderie together yeah you knock you knock each other you
Starting point is 00:09:38 throw them to the ground but then you help them up and you pat them on the ass and you say good game and you keep you carry on it you come back next season and i was like that's a really good way of saying that because sometimes you have to like hit people with a hard reality hard truth sometimes they don't want to hear it and they'll they'll probably hit you back but at the end of the day if you really are friends, then you can weather the truth and how much the truth can hurt. Yeah. So I was like, that's so good. It is.
Starting point is 00:10:09 And I think that that's something where being on a show like this, obviously you guys are friends and have these relationships, but like the structure of the show also forces you to spend time with people that maybe, maybe off the show, you would go six more months without talking to that person. Or maybe you'd never see them again. But if you're in that kind of environment, it's like, no, we're going to talk about it. But, you know, I will say this. So I think maybe it's different like for other Bravo shows, like, but for us, like,
Starting point is 00:10:39 we all actually see each other a lot. Yeah. So like, you know, we were all together. All of us came together for Sally's birthday like a couple weeks ago. And unfortunately, you know, Craig was out of town. Otherwise, he would have been there too. But like more often than not all of us hang out together. Was Vanita there?
Starting point is 00:10:55 She was there. Okay. I mean, I have some really good pictures of her. and in Austin together and the girls together and Whitney was there too so it literally was everyone only Craig because he was out of town like Craig is a busy guy
Starting point is 00:11:08 like he's always on the go but I will say at one point I'm like leaning forward we're at halls like the steakhouse in Charleston which is like iconic everyone loves halls and I'm like to say who but these two bitches were like arguing behind my back I'm literally like can I like
Starting point is 00:11:27 actually scoop back again so you guys can stop yelling over my back. But it's just like we are friends and reality is like, you know, those things still happen. I do feel Southern Charm, I think maybe more than any other show except maybe Southern Hospitality actually. I feel like they could pick up the cameras at any moment throughout the year and just go and you would have a great season. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:49 And there are shows I think where it's a little bit more like, okay, like what's everybody up to? Let's kind of get the gang back together. Like that Charleston, something in the water in Charleston, it's like, like, Like, no, like, this could happen any day of the year. It's called tequila. That's what's in the water. It's tequila. So, like, a bunch of us went out, like, right before Halloween.
Starting point is 00:12:09 And I was like, man, this would have been ideal to have the cameras up because it was all fun in games. And all of a sudden, we go out, we go to by the way. And then it's just, like, like, rabbit dogs going at each other. And I was like, what is happening here, you guys? I was like, man, like, every time. Like it's, but it's fun until it's not kind of thing. But again, we're all good friends. But when certain people hit their limit on alcohol, you're like, God damn it.
Starting point is 00:12:40 I mean, I thought it was really great. We got to see your engagement party a couple episodes ago. And, you know, first of all, what was it like kind of having that big event, having it on the show? I think we've learned a little bit more about your relationship this season two, which I think is a great addition to. the show. What was it like kind of like bringing that into the the picture? You know, I was just happy because, you know, everyone loves Tyler. Obviously I love Tyler, but I think everyone in the cast has a great, a big, fond place in their heart for Tyler. And I'm just happy like that more people
Starting point is 00:13:17 could see just he and I together and just him. And to bring most of, you know, bring everyone together to have a good time because that party was, you know, before. kind of went into like the Craig and Sally and Charlie of it all. Yeah. It was just like a good time to have a bunch of our friends together. Enjoying each other, like enjoying that. But then also, you know, have to save space for, you know, some good old fashioned bitching. Well, I was going to ask, like, so you're at that party.
Starting point is 00:13:50 Obviously, you know, you're surrounded by loved ones and stuff. How aware are you in the moment that it's like, oh, Audrey is sitting at the table by herself in the corner. Oh, man. Austin and Sally are having a moat. Like, I mean, it's just like, I mean, it's what you expect, I guess. But I think, you know, like at the time, like, you know, they didn't really show up. Like Whitney, I think part of it.
Starting point is 00:14:13 Like Whitney is like playing the guitar. And we had another girlfriend there who's like one of our closest friend. She was like singing. So kind of focusing on that. And then you look back to see where is everybody. And then you all, you know, you see kind of. full or Craig's like, you know, there's Austin and Sally, like being all buddy, buddy. And yeah, did I think that was like not the smartest move to make?
Starting point is 00:14:38 Like when, you know, we've already told Austin that clearly Sally is saying things that she's into you kind of thing. You're dating somebody. So perhaps like going up to this girl who's your girlfriend who's already told you, hey, buddy, like, you know, I don't think this is like, it's very. parent she's sitting on you you have a girlfriend what are you doing like right the last thing you would think somebody with a rational brain cell would do would then start going around with putting their arm and hanging around and being buddy chummy chummy with some girl yeah who your girlfriend
Starting point is 00:15:14 has owed to express like some distaste for um again i love austin but if if i'm being honest i mean i'm not going to kiss his ass but it's like that was dumb yeah i mean it's clear that what however Austin was actually thinking about his relationship with Audrey. It's clear that he came into the season with some amount of being torn about where that was headed. And when you're on a TV show and you're having all these interactions, things are going to get analyzed. I mean, I didn't really understand, like, how fractured it really was until later.
Starting point is 00:15:50 Like, because I felt very caught off guard about what was going on because Tyler and I were very, like, were very close with them. Out of everybody on, you know, everyone in this friend group, like Tyler and I spent more time with Austin and Audrey together alone than anyone else. And, you know, I just felt blindsided. I felt like Tyler was completely blindsided when we found out they broke up because like that wasn't the reality I was told was happening. So when it actually happens in real time, I'm like, I was stunned. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:16:27 And it sucks. So nobody wants to feel like they're being caught off guard. And I'm sure Austin's not going to want to hear this. But it's like, dude, I mean, you didn't spare her feelings. I think if anything, you made it worse. Yeah. I guess that's the tough thing about being in the public eyes. That it's like you have to think about kind of everybody who's in the wake of what's going on.
Starting point is 00:16:49 Yeah. And I think like honestly, like I'm not saying like he did anything to be malicious. I don't think that was his intent. I think maybe he thought he was trying to like spare her feelings in some way, but ultimately I think it made it worse. Yeah. Because like the thing is if like if you felt like there was something, it wasn't moving forward, I don't think bringing her around the group for as long as you did.
Starting point is 00:17:15 And then, you know, going through with what eventually happens, I'm like, I mean, come on, be fair to her. Yeah. And, you know, I'm not, I'm not going to sit there. and, you know, tell you that it's all rosé and roses. Yeah. So good, so good. I want to talk about the whole situation this season that's happening with Vanita and with Sally and, you know, Craig and Charlie and all of that. Like, you have a friendship with both Vanita and with Sally.
Starting point is 00:20:36 was it like kind of having to balance the two of them who really are just like at odds over this whole situation you know like when they started like kind of well before we actually started filming this season let me say this like before we started filming this season like the three of us hung out all the time yeah like we were like like three crazy bandits like just always going out or having lunch and having a good time and then I just feel like I just feel like we were still all very close until the baby shower, Madison's baby shower. And I think that's when, you know, Sally and well, Craig kind of made it seem like there might have been a little something there.
Starting point is 00:21:23 And I think Sally like ate that up. And then all of a sudden the friendship that they had kind of fell by the wayside because I think Sally was, you know, legitimately interested in exploring the idea of there. being something. And then, you know, Craig makes it clear after the fact that he did not see it that way, but that's not how it seemed to everyone else. Yeah. It seemed like, yeah, you know, there could be something there.
Starting point is 00:21:52 There's been hanging out late night. I'm like, you know, if you like somebody, you're going to inviting some guy back to your place and you're just going to, let's say you have a hot tub, a beautiful backyard. And he's inviting you back to his place and you kind of end him a little bit. And like, what do you think? Yeah, it's tough because it's like, was Craig like proposing marriage to Sally? Of course not. But was there, I don't think it was wrong of her to.
Starting point is 00:22:18 Yeah, I don't think Craig is like a quick to like jump into the sack kind of thing. I think, you know, he's a little more old school thinking. I mean, fucking somebody like that. That's more of a chef, a chef thing, you know. Yeah, it's a, I feel like it's easy for Craig. to have that plausible deniability where he's like, well, I never said anything. It's like, okay, whatever. I mean, I see that.
Starting point is 00:22:43 Yeah. Yeah. So I think, you know, for the girls, like, then eventually, like, I felt like they were going to get, they were going to come out of it. But then it never really happened because then it felt like, you know, Venito's worried about their relationship and then seeing Sally and Charlie all of a sudden become like, because from my. My vantage point, I always thought that Sally and Vanita were so much closer. And then all of a sudden, Charlie and kind of replaced Vanita in a way. And I'm like, I was like, wait a minute. What's going on here?
Starting point is 00:23:22 Yeah. I was like, you bitches say best friend. Someone says my best friend so often. I can't. I can't. Stop calling someone your best friend that you fucking talk shit about all the time. This is what these motherfuckers do all the time. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:37 I'm like, I'm not calling you my best friend. I'm like, if I'm calling you my best friend, I'm calling you a bitch to your face. Mm-hmm. I'm not saying it behind your back and like pretending like everyone else. Like, yeah. It's like, this is so confusing. Well, it's also hard because it's like, this is a group of what, 12 people and everybody's grown. Yeah, very grown.
Starting point is 00:23:55 But then I think Vanita's best friend is Madison sometimes. But then Madison's best friend is Patricia sometimes. It's like, I'm like, my best friend is my dog. her name's Bella that's safe I like her I mean and look Bella is never gonna take your man in the hot tub She'll take me she'll take my man She'll go run over to Tyler
Starting point is 00:24:15 She'll jump on jump on the couch to be with him Other than that I'm like you guys like Enough just just stop just be Good friends I'm like is it more entertaining when they fucking fight? Yes Absolutely because I'm over here like this Hmm Oh
Starting point is 00:24:32 You'll see like in Mexico It's like it's pretty intense because it's kind of hard to find that balance between like, oh my God, I got to be concerned about this person and their feelings and then this person and their feelings. And I'm like, I don't want to, like, because I don't feel like I'm pulled one direction more than the other.
Starting point is 00:24:53 I feel like I'm good friends with everybody. And sometimes that is kind of a hard place to be, but I don't want to, you know, make anyone feel like their point of view isn't like, important, but sometimes I'm like, you guys got to really get it together. Yeah. I mean, it's hard when somebody is so like in their own lane about something that's going on. It's like, look, I could be honest with you right now, but you're not going to like it. Yeah. And that's, and that happens more often than not. Yeah. Because I sometimes, some people feel like their,
Starting point is 00:25:26 their whole existence is more important than others. And I'm like, that's not a really good way to think or be, especially in a friend group this size. Yeah. So I take umbrage with that. Do you find it all? Because obviously this is a show that's been on for 10 plus years. Some people have been on the show a long time. Some people are newer to the group.
Starting point is 00:25:48 Do you think that affects the dynamics at all of like people who have been on the show for longer having any sort of like superiority or is it more because everybody is friends in Charleston? It doesn't really feel that way. I mean, not everyone's friends in Charleston. Sure. Yes. Everyone knows each other.
Starting point is 00:26:05 Yeah, everyone knows each other. I feel like maybe years back that that might have been a thing. I feel like now it's kind of like when you come into the friend group, you know, what's your dynamic with everybody? And how long have you, like, how long have you known each other versus like, you know, superiority like being like, well, seniority? Yeah. Like instead of being seniority, it's just like, like, how do you really fit into the group? like in you know who you really close with kind of thing versus like a seniority thing yeah i think you know you know shepp is like the like uh what does she say in v like um the
Starting point is 00:26:47 head hen you know you know what's the thing i'm talking about yes you're like you're like you're like invest me with the head the head fucking hand yeah you're playing a game of chicken with yeah fucking hand yes exactly i'm like yeah That's like Shep is like, if we're really going to break down, he's like the Dowager Countess. Okay. I feel like we watched the same TV. Yeah. Good, good, good, good.
Starting point is 00:27:14 Yeah, I mean, and then, and then obviously you have Austin and Craig who are just in there, you know. Pecking away. Permanent war. Yeah. Just pecking away. You said in an interview with Decider that I thought was hilarious, you compared them to Brokeback Mountain that they can't quit each other. I know, broke back beach.
Starting point is 00:27:30 I mean, it's true. I feel like there's such great love between them, but at the same time, like, they just, they trip over each other sometimes. I'm like, listen, you guys are both doing great. Like, you both, like, you're doing great, sweetie. Both of you, look at me, you're doing great, sweetie. But I'm like, they sometimes, like, it's not,
Starting point is 00:27:56 everything has to be a competition. Like, friends can exist on different levels of success and having things going on. I mean, if you feel a certain way, like, just be supportive. And save your jealousy for your ultra-close friends and tell them about how much you hate them. Right. Find one person. Yeah, the one person you can sit there really unleash all your bullshit on.
Starting point is 00:28:19 Maybe that's your therapist. Like maybe you complain to Austin about your therapist. Yeah. Oh, God. Yeah. That's what I want for them. I just want them to like just be supportive and happy, especially them since they have so many joint things together. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:35 But it's just like I think that they one person gets worried about the other one acting like they're more self-important than the other. Yeah. So that's a that's a riddle for you to decipher who's who in that one. Well, it's like at the end of the day, it's like they're more similar than they are different. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. And also when it comes to success. I mean, obviously you have different business things going on, but like, you guys are all on a hit TV show.
Starting point is 00:29:05 They've been on for a lot. Like, it's at the end of the day, like, everybody's doing okay that we see up on our screen. Yeah, everyone's doing fine. I'm like, you guys, multiple businesses like together. Yeah. You're good. None of us are Patricia, so everyone would calm down, you know? No one's Patricia here.
Starting point is 00:29:23 Like, she's the queen. We all know it. So just relax and just enjoy this. Like, why wouldn't we? Like we have a we live in a beautiful place. We have great friends. You know, we have an amazing platform. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:36 But you would think that these guys would be a little more happy than they, then they portray themselves to be. Not everyone like, Shep is like constantly island time, which, you know, you know, the only time he gets chaotic and crazy seems to be a Bravo con. Otherwise, he's like, you'll see me when you see me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:56 I'm going to be in Bali for a month. Unless he's over there, like, throwing Austin on the bus saying, like, I heard that Austin fuck some girls in New York. Look, you never, you never know what's going to happen at, uh, at Wittner's birthday party. Oh, God, yeah. I heard he got his dick sucked at the roundup. Did you hear that? No? Oh, that's a deep cut.
Starting point is 00:30:20 I know. Hey, Lou, uh, Leanne. Lee, I don't know, I don't know if she's listening to this, but maybe. Maybe. Maybe. You have a background as an interior designer. You do florals also. What has it been like kind of juggling your like career career with also doing reality TV?
Starting point is 00:30:39 You know, it's been fun. I feel like that kind of opened up, you know, possibilities for other projects. And I honestly get like the biggest thrill out of being on the hunt for furniture. Like I love seeing great design, but I also love like love being on the, hunt like going to estate sales and just finding really unique pieces to like tie into you know any any space like to me that's like my if I could just buy furniture all day long that'd be like my dream job maybe I should open a store I think maybe that's something I should probably look into is maybe opening a storefront where I because like right now I have like four storage units
Starting point is 00:31:22 like filled with stuff so like and like and they they come and go like they They fill up, they deplete. Right. So it's just kind of like, I find something interesting. I keep it until I have the right project for it. Or like even in my house, which I'm going to try to do better once I actually renovate my house that I have a habit of like finding amazing stuff that I absolutely love. And I know at some point that it's not meant for my house. Right.
Starting point is 00:31:46 But I'll have it here because I love it. And I think it's just so unique and interesting. But I'm going to try to be better about like keeping it a lot more simple because like I love trash. like and then I'll just fill up a room and I was like okay I know eventually these are going like on a desk or they're going on somebody's shelf or on a side table and it's just one of those little things so yeah I mean I mean I feel like that's the perfect somebody's in Charleston for the weekend they want a little a little chotchky we actually ran into like some some guests some some people are like fans of the show um over the weekend we went over our friend
Starting point is 00:32:26 Lisa who hosted our engagement party. She had dinner. And then all of us and Shep went out to a bar on the island. And these girls came and was like, tell me where are you finding antiques. And she actually like, I gave her my number and she texted me. And she's like, I want to know where I was like, let me get back to you. I'll give you a whole list. Yeah. I know some estate sales that are coming up. And I mean, that's kind of a nice thing. You know, there's a lot of beautiful estates in Charleston. So when they have old people dying. Oh man. And when Grant, when grandma's gone, I'm like, give me all of her little trinkets. Rich?
Starting point is 00:33:01 Okay. I'll be home there. Grandma's dead. Give me her lamp. Like, I want that. Well, I feel like furniture is hard because it's like everything, everything that's cheap that's new is bad. Yeah, it's cheap.
Starting point is 00:33:14 Half of the stuff that's expensive that's new is bad. So it's like you really have to know what to look for. Yeah, that's very true. I mean, can never go wrong. If I'm going to give a little plug, visual comfort, always has the best. lighting. Okay. It's the best lighting.
Starting point is 00:33:28 You can never go wrong there. But yeah, it's just I think that the hunt is where it's at. And maybe that's what I need to do. Maybe that's what you need to do. I think you just inspired me, to be honest. Next season, you'll be, you'll be, you know, working away at. I might have to have a storefront because at this point, like, the amount that I spent on storage units a year is kind of insane.
Starting point is 00:33:53 This is going to turn out to be a very expensive podcast. cast interview for you. And now you have a whole store you got to open. Thank you. Okay. Well, next time I'm with Charleston, we can go on the hunt together. Yeah, we'll go have some oysters. We'll have some drinks.
Starting point is 00:34:06 Perfect. We'll see Craig and Charlie at the oyster place. Hmm. I don't think you will. Or not. I don't think you will. Or not. Well, you never know who you'll run into.
Starting point is 00:34:16 You'll see them in different places, but they ain't going to be together. Sure. Yeah, yeah. I had gathered as much. Yeah. I'm very excited to see this trip to Mexico I feel like we have a very exciting half of the season left
Starting point is 00:34:32 Yeah the Mexico trip was It was an out-of-bodied experience so to speak But you know I'm Mexican So I'm like anytime I can go to Mexico And like where we went in Mexico Is like places where I have really good friends that live Okay Live in Cellita like outside of PV
Starting point is 00:34:49 I mean every gay knows Portoviata Yeah I don't know that aspect, that side of Seulita. Okay. Do you? I haven't been, but I'm, I'm aware. Every other queen.
Starting point is 00:35:02 I see the photo dumps. I was like, I've never done that aspect. Right. Because I'm like literally, I have a very small circle of gay friends. Yeah. I literally hang out with straight people more than, not by like any sort of design. But, yeah. I mean, I would, I'm just not one of those like, I'm going to put a speedo on kind of gay.
Starting point is 00:35:23 Do you remember? Do you remember like during COVID and those gays went to BV and that boat sank? Oh my God. I'm talking about deep cuts. Do you know how during COVID how many scandals there were of like X group of gays went to X place and spread their germs and whatever else? And they were always white. It was always the way.
Starting point is 00:35:41 Oh, wait. You're not wrong. Well, I'm excited to see that Mexico trip. Yeah. And, you know, maybe maybe a different one down the road. Yeah. I mean, honestly, like my ideal place to get married if it's not in trying. Carlson would be like Mexico City.
Starting point is 00:35:56 Have you been in Mexico City? I think I'm going to go this year for the first time. You have to. Yeah. Like, like, like, text me. Like, tell me, like, tell me what you're thinking of staying. Like, I'll tell you all the, all the places. Like, Mexico City is, I think, the best city in the world.
Starting point is 00:36:12 Well, maybe Southern Charm in like two seasons trip to Mexico City for Gregory or Gives. Or Buenos Aires. And I think it'd be, like, Buenos Aires, it'd be, like, Southern Hemisphere Charm. Yes. Much more Southern charm. No, actually, I feel that's more suited for Australia. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:31 If you're listening to Australia or Qantas Air, like, send me, fly me down. So we can start scouting. You can get flew out for your southern hemisphere wedding. Yeah, Southern Hemisphere Charm. Amazing. It's on the vision board. We're May, oy, oy. Exactly.
