Betches Media presents.
Ha ha, laugh, funny.
It All, a Bravo by Betches podcast. We don't say that, but now we said it. With me, Dylan Hafer.
We'll go check me, boo. Hey, everyone. It's Dylan. Welcome back to mention it all. Thank you so much for
listening. If I sound a little raspy right now, it's because I am fresh off of three incredible
days at BravoCon. And I know you all want to hear about it. I will be coming at you later this
week with two episodes with great guests who were there all weekend. And we are going to share lots of
behind the scenes tea. But for today, I have an interview with Craig and Austin. They stopped by
the Betches studio last week. It was the end of the day. Drinks were flowing. Things got a little
loopy. So I think you are going to enjoy this interview a lot. And then make sure you're
subscribed for all the BravoCon stuff coming later this week. Enjoy the interview.
Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the mentioned at all podcast. I'm Dylan Hafer. And today I am excited to
be joined in the studio. We have drinks in hand. And it is Craig
Conover and Austin Kroll and I am so excited to have you guys. How's it going? What's up?
What's going on? This is our first time in person in the bitch's studio. And I'm impressed.
Wow. Yeah, Austin is. I built it with my, I feel like I want to talk like a batch all day. I built it with
my own two hands. It's, it's awesome. Craig. Look at this place. The state of the art, man.
It's like truly soundproof. Where do you think when I, I, you could murder someone in here and no one would
here. When I skip our podcast, I'm actually in here hanging out with them.
Then you're not. You never been here before. You literally just said you never been here
before. We have a Pillows and Bech podcast. Zero listens. It's just for us. No beer.
I love that. Pillows and batch podcast. It's still P&B. It's still P&B. Exactly. Yeah.
That's why you've never picked up. Well, you guys are in town. Obviously, it's BravoCon
week, but you have a big premiere coming up this week, Winter House coming back, season two.
How are you feeling about this new show?
How funny is it that are like one-off, like spin-off show?
We are doing, we did it again.
We did it again.
And Craig and I certainly, you know, discussed.
And we never knew if it was going to get picked up again.
Or if it was just like a fun little.
And it came back in a big way.
And I think people are going to love this season.
We got a few more episodes this year.
And it's, it basically Stowe became a character.
Because last year.
it was shut down for COVID.
Oh, okay.
Vermont is very, very,
shut down.
Yes.
Yeah.
It's very like everything was close.
Well,
the only reason that's relevant is because we live in Charleston.
So COVID was never really.
Yeah,
you didn't really leave the house on last season
except for like,
yeah.
Pige and Andreas Carrot ride.
Sure.
They got to go sleigh ride.
Slay ride, yeah.
I went on a on a wine and cheese date and that made me happy, right?
Like they lived in a double date.
You know, Kyle and Amanda.
Oh, okay, good.
Well, anyway, this year, we get to explore Stowe.
And so there is plenty of more places that we gossip and call some shit.
And like the local bars.
And Stowe is a cool town.
Have you ever been to Stowe before?
I haven't, but I've heard good things.
But they look at us when we were there and they're like, these people are crazy.
And we're like, yeah, well, grab a hold of your boots because we are.
We're coming at you.
I feel like when you're, I mean, when you guys are in Charleston now, you've been filming for a long time.
obviously a lot of people have watched the show or know about it.
Like in Charleston, like if they see you guys filming like, oh yeah, like there they are.
But in Stowe, you're like brand new.
True.
Stowe did not care.
Do we talk to like a bunch of locals about it?
They were like, what's going on?
Charleston is more, we're on the bucket list now.
If you're visiting Charleston, a lot of people want to spot us.
Right.
And we love it.
The locals do not, you know, they couldn't care less.
But they're nice.
They'll drink with us.
but, um, and still,
the locals will drink with us.
The locals would drink with us,
but they're not impressed by us.
I will say that.
Yeah, they're disappointed by us a lot, but they,
it's true.
It's,
it's so true.
And people that come in town too are like,
we came to Charleston because we watch it on the show and we love it so much.
I'm a bachelor at party and where should we go?
Ah, freaking out if I run into Craig Rosson.
And the locals are like,
get that camera out of my face.
The locals are like, we, we, we're sorry.
We're sorry.
Trust me, I've been on the receiving end of DMs that are like,
I'm in Charleston for a bachelorette party and I just saw Shep at a bar.
And I'm like, okay.
Sounds about right.
Go up to him and then please tell us what happened after.
No, we love, we love Shep and obviously, but it would be, no, it wouldn't be funny to know what happens afterwards.
But yeah, in Stowe, we finally, you know, the town opened up.
And I think it adds a new dynamic to the show because.
Sure, we changed the themes of the house parties last year.
But we're still partying in the house.
And this year, there's some shit that goes on.
And we have to split up.
And so some of the days, half the group goes and does something.
And the other half goes somewhere else.
And it adds that extra layer to the show, I think.
That happened last year, too.
Okay, so D.
Can I call you D?
Sure.
D.
D.
Where is it?
Can I call you D?
D.
Is this a thing that you're doing now?
We're in the exact same house.
We're in the exact same house.
Just minus a closet.
And we definitely did things last year too.
Like half the group went dog sledded and a half didn't.
Like that's like we split up in air, Austin.
The one thing that comes to mind is Luke, Luke staying back to like build an igloo.
Yeah.
Well, that happens again.
Yeah.
That will always happen.
Does it happen again?
Yeah.
Craig says things and he really doesn't know if it happened or not.
And he's like promising things.
He's like, well, also what happens and it never happened.
All right, A.
Okay, C, A, A, C, D.
C, C, D.
New podcast.
A, C, and D.
Print the contract.
All just hanging.
So, I mean, lead us.
Where would you like to go off?
Because you're going nowhere.
Stowe is definitely a character.
All right, Shep.
A character this year.
Oh, my gosh.
Craig.
Don't you dare pander on.
on the Betches podcast.
Everyone's bullying me.
And the fact that we have friends who we thought were going to come last year,
but it didn't, you know, work out.
Our friends being Tom and Tom, of course.
And like, they kind of got to come in.
And just add a whole new dynamic to the show.
Well, we loved having guests.
We got to have guests this year.
And I think that's the answer.
And I think it was brilliant.
and it was beautiful.
And how awesome is it in this crazy world that we live in?
That it just happened to be right when shit was hitting the fan with Swartz and Gady.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And that's in the trailer for the season.
And I think right when people,
I think some people had mixed feelings when they found out Tom and Tom were coming to the house.
They're like, oh, now it's too much and all these shows.
Like what's happening?
How could it be?
No.
I don't feel that way.
How could it be too much?
I like that.
But I think, you know, some people.
People, whatever.
People have feelings about everything.
There's no decision that everybody's like, okay, I love this.
But then when you found out about the Tom and Katie thing, it's like, oh, like, what's going?
There's cameras?
So you get a little inside look into what was going on with that, which was wild.
Because Austin, I sometimes have my ear to the ground on gossip a little more than Austin.
And I got to explain it to him.
And I was like, hey, I think some shit's going on because Katie just posted this cryptic, like Instagram.
photo. And so we got that. And he's like, Craig, you don't know what you're talking about. And then we got to,
you know, you'll get to see what happens with that. But also, we were running on reserves.
You know, we, we ran out of ideas on how to party in the same house. And the times come in and they,
man, they kind of, they showed us up. Their energy was just, you know, spot on. And, and,
and when you come in late to a house where you might not, you know, know, know, know, everyone, like,
I'm talking about me and, you know, some others.
Like, you, like, you hope that the energy and everything just, like, you know, matches up, right?
It's like, you want it all to have.
And, and, like, what they brought to the house was just kind of perfect.
And they were on board and they're like, oh, you guys want to dress up like idiots.
So do we, you know?
And it was like, we are going to lead the charge of, you know, idiocy in Vermont, which is amazing.
Because in order to be our friend, you have to be an idiot.
Girl, winter is so last season.
And now spring's got you looking at pictures of tank tops with hungry eyes.
Your algorithm is feeding you cutoffs.
You're thirsty for the sun on your shoulders.
That perfect hang on the patio sundress.
Those sandals you can wear all day and all night.
And you've had enough of shopping from your couch.
Done hoping it looks anything like the picture when you tear open that envelope?
It's time for a little in-person spring treat.
It's time for a trip to Ross.
Work your magic.

How far back do you guys and Tom and Tom go?
Like when how much did you know each other before this filming experience?
So I met them at BravoCon essentially and in 2019.
And so we had some times together but but didn't really know each other.
And then I met them both again at the up front, NBC upfronts.
Mostly like network stuff.
Yeah, yeah.
And Craig had known them from going out to El.
a few times and you know hanging out with that crew because him and um stasi are friends and
and so he'd met them through so i know i didn't really know him that well yeah so i know him a little
longer because stasi and i had been friends for a long time and you know that led to so spot on
what are you pointing at stop saying oh we have a we have a sign in our studio that says stop saying
like they both need to work i need to work and when i watch myself on tv sometimes i'm like
Shut the fuck.
So I love the Vaynerpump crew, and I've been friends with them for a long time.
But Sandoval and I worked together on some stuff.
And then Swartz has always just been quiet, you know, but we loved them, but we wanted more from them.
And it was really neat to get to spend a weekend with them or, you know, a weekend in our world on vacation.
It could have been a Tuesday, Wednesday, but we tried to get them to stay.
I'm super interested to hear the reverse side of this, right?
Because they're clearly going to do some press.
They're clearly going to do some press.
And are they going to be like, those guys are just nutballs?
Or are they like, we loved it.
We want to go back.
I had Tom in the kitchen at like 5 a.m.
And I was like, you're not going back to L.A.
And he's like, I don't think I should.
I think that's really good.
You're going to stay in Vermont.
You're going to stay in Vermont.
Yeah, Schwartz, Schwartz.
And no, well, Sanneval was going to New York to do a concert.
He brought his trumpet to the house.
He introduced himself with, it's not even a trumpet.
It's like a bugle.
Yeah, that sounds on brand.
It sounds like, D's like.
And then Alston, I think, came in in my room and he's like, what the fuck is going on?
And I was like, there's a guy with a bugle.
There's a guy who's getting divorced.
Two different midlife crises are happening.
Whoa.
Take the rosé away from Craig.
Well, that's what happened.
There's a guy with a bugle.
And a guy getting divorced
I just showed up to the house.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
What is incorrect?
Nothing.
I just,
that's kind of harsh.
So we have the Tom's coming in.
And then our other special guests,
I think they're calling them this season,
are Lindsay and Carl.
Yep.
What was,
how was that dynamic as positive as the Tom's coming into the house?
So I think that what happened there,
and unfortunately,
is that Summer House,
was airing at the exact same time
that we were filming for Winterhouse.
And we're allowed to say that.
Everyone in the house
had just like things going on
that I didn't know about right?
And I was like, oh, is there like, you know,
drama here, drama there?
And every time that like an episode would come out.
So I basically knew that every Friday morning or whatever,
you know, people were like, er, you know.
We also have to put this in perspective.
Lindsay.
My episodes came out then too.
And it put me in a mood.
And that was on like my eighth or ninth day.
And I was like,
I don't want to be here anymore.
I was like, I don't want to be here anymore.
I did watch what happens and was like Craig is a narcissist and all this shit.
Like she went on a whole tirade.
That was a watch what happens live where I feel like there were,
there was a ripple effect.
They talked about like at the reunion they were talking about it.
Well,
and we're filming winter house and we're like,
she's about to show up to the house.
And so it actually has a positive effect on me,
which you'll have to watch and I don't want to blow it.
But I basically had to grow up pretty quick because I was like,
You can't continue to yell at people, especially if Lindsay's coming into this house.
Like the last thing I want to go is fight.
And so it added almost a challenge for me.
I don't even know if that makes sense, but it just was because I was like, guys,
because we had just gotten done filling something to charm.
So we were really worked up.
Right.
And, you know, we're all wise here.
We know why you're worked up because at some point it gets a little stressful.
Yeah.
And the vacation.
got a little stressful. So I had to grow up.
You know, for for for me in particular, it was just that Lindsay and I, um, kind of
went our own ways at one point. We, we, we kind of had like a falling out and we used to be
so, so close. And so I didn't know if us not really talking because we hadn't really talked.
And, and, and also part of it was like, oh, well, we're going to, like, we're both going to be
in Vermont soon. Let's like save it all to talk in Vermont.
So like when I speak to her there is really the first time that I'd like that I'd spoken to her.
Yeah, after the watch what happens.
It was really like the first time that I'd spoken to her in ages, which, you know, the show is going to kind of go into it like what happened.
I guarantee that they're going to show some clips from watch what happens and why we decided to.
And so I didn't know if she also was like telling Carl and I didn't know if Carl didn't like me and Carl and I have a good, you know, relationships.
Like I didn't know.
And that was me being on my own head.
And I was like, I don't know if these two like.
me, but I'm going to try and make it right. And so when they came, there were definitely some layers
to the onion there. And, and, you know, it's not just me. It's not just Craig. It was like everyone in
the house, you know, had just filmed and watching Summer House. So everyone has something going on
with somebody. And so it was just super interesting to see. It was like a dynamic shift. It's beautiful for
TV. I'll tell you that. Right. And what I'm thinking about this, it's like kind of like a chessboard in my mind,
because obviously you guys had filmed that whole season of Southern Charm that we've just now been watching.
But nobody else in the group knows about all of that because you two are the only ones from your show.
Whereas Summerhouse, like half the cast is there.
You guys appeared.
You know, it's very like Summer House.
That drama was kind of known.
What has it been like the last couple of years now?
You were on Southern Charm before Winterhouse, before the kind of Summerhouse crossovers.
And now I imagine that it's got.
gotten kind of more complex to even keep straight.
Like, what did I film for which show when and what's on TV?
What has it been like kind of keeping that straight?
It's so interesting because the show is filmed after.
Obviously, we filmed for charm.
But then the reunion just happened.
And now it's being aired before Winterhouse.
And things changed on the reunion from what you saw in the season.
And then what we filmed in Winterhouse was like,
not knowing what was going to happen at the reunion.
So like when you're watching Winterhouse,
take out the reunion equation and just pretend that the reunion hasn't happened
and just watch it from the finale.
Well, no, no, no, no.
But like in your mind is what I'm saying.
Just remember that the reunion hadn't happened
before we filmed for Winterhouse.
So like, that's just why it's like, I go to Winterhouse.
I'm dating like Olivia, but then you watch the reunion.
We're not dating.
And it's like what the hell is happening?
And in that instance, the world gets a little messy.
And I'll say that shows like Winterhouse keep us honest in a good way that we're forced to grow or not grow, right?
And I think you get to see that.
Like there's a lot of shit going on when we're filming Winterhouse.
But basically, I had a choice to either get, he's got it.
Constance or requesting.
Don't break character.
Here's why Winterhouse is great, and I hope it stays like this.
It is a pure form of what's going on in our lives.
You will get to see some shit go down with like me and Paige.
And, you know, everything that happens is I basically have to choose,
whether I want to keep being the fun boyfriend or maybe like a life partner.
Austin's dealing with real life stuff with Sierra and like going back to the same house
that they met in and like got and fell for each other.
And it's a pure form of us.
us addressing stuff.
And I think as long as everyone's okay with growing and growth,
that's what has to happen with this.
It's like, we fuck up, right?
Yeah.
But you either want us to leave and never see us again or see if we possibly grow
because it is starting to get,
there's no way to fake this stuff anymore, right?
Not that we ever did,
but we are overlapping as a mother effort.
And it's so interesting because,
For charm, we don't film in the same way as on Winterhouse.
And by that, I mean just like, you know, 24-7, you know, cameras.
Right.
You know, surveillance.
Therapy session for us.
Like, we're looking in the mirror.
So, I mean, I just remember the day that Craig and I both, you know, texted each other
because we got reached out to being like, hey, you guys want to go on this.
Like, you know, we want you guys to go.
And I was like, Craig, this is really rad.
Like, that's for sure go to Vermont and for sure.
And now season two, and I feel like, you know, when we leave, we're always like, dude, I don't know about that.
But now we're both like, season three, man, let's go.
You know, and season two hasn't even married.
Because last year, Austin had a relationship in the house.
And I was there by myself and I had a relationship out of the house.
Right.
This year, complete opposite.
Yeah.
I have a relationship in the house.
And Austin's there by himself with someone back home.
I'm curious.
Yeah.
So you were saying, like, when you first.
got the call, you were talking to each other.
We were in the Aspen together.
Oh my, no, no, no, no.
We got the call, you know, prior to that, but, like, we had the, like, official call.
Okay.
But I imagine this season that you and Paige were probably talking about, was there ever, like,
a hesitation of going back to the house now that you are in, like, a real relationship that
you don't want to ruin on a TV show?
100%.
It's actually really funny that you bring that up.
So, obviously, the questions for Craig.
Take it away.
Of course.
Yes, yes.
There was a moment, man, where Craig and I were legitimately talking to each other.
Like, you know, because, you know, Summer House has kind of happened.
And I was like, dude, this might not be the smartest thing to go back.
Well, and it's no one's fault, right?
We just, we're not used to a surveillance show.
We're not used to a 24-hour surveillance show.
And, and it's, I think it's okay to talk about this shit outside of the fourth wall a little bit to be like, yeah, guys.
Like, are you ready to have a mirror held up to you on how you ask?
past nine o'clock or not.
And then are you ready to put your relationship?
The answer is kind of no.
Yeah.
Are you ready to put your relationship?
And there's so much fun to be had.
And yeah, there's a job aspect.
Obviously, we do this.
And so you try to pull the positive out of it.
But it forces you to grow up quick.
I mean, like, like Paige and I had never spent more than five days together.
Right.
And we moved in together on camera.
Like, it's, it's, it's.
It's raw.
And we're okay with that, but sometimes it does, like, if there wasn't a break in seasons
and like if we come back for winter house three, if you would have asked us the day after
that season ended, we would say no.
Both years.
But then five months goes to like, never again.
We're like, I kind of miss my boys.
I want to see Kyle.
Man, yeah, it would be fine.
We get to snow.
Like, it'd be fun like a snowboarding again.
You missed snowmobiling this season.
Oh, did you not come?
No.
That's in the, I think that's in the preview.
where it's like your flight's delayed
and you're like not gonna make it in time
for snowmobile.
Yeah.
Well, he was a little jealous of my,
my other best friend being there.
He was like, who the fuck is Corey?
Yeah.
That's a real friend.
Not entirely true.
Yeah.
I certainly knew of Corey and then.
Well, we lived together for a year.
Right.
No.
And like that whole situation,
I think that people are not gonna know
what to do with Corey.
They're gonna be like,
we love them,
even though that we know.
know that we're supposed to hate him, we love him.
You're like, we should, he's pushing the needle in the other direction of where he should be going.
Did it?
So you bringing Corey on to the show, obviously you guys go back a long time.
Did you kind of prep him for this experience in any way?
Well, no, because that's what's so beautiful about this maniac is there was no prepping.
He knew, man.
And I told him before the show was announced, his Instagram account got banned the day Winterhouse got announced.
because his caption read.
No, which one?
Don't.
Yeah.
Don't.
Come on.
It's really funny.
Which one?
The six year old?
Oh,
okay.
You can say whatever that was.
He was like,
he was like,
on God,
I'll fight a six year old.
I was this caption.
And it was like,
Corey,
what are you doing?
And he got banned.
He's like,
I don't know.
Yeah.
Funny captioned.
And honestly,
he's beautifully just himself,
which I was excited to have.
into the show.
Him and I lived together up until Southern Charm started to film.
We broke up for like three years.
And when I was asked, do you have anyone that would be good for this?
I was like, I honestly do.
Whether you listen to me or not, I don't know.
But I have someone that's perfect.
And Corey was great.
I actually had a buddy like that too that I recommended.
And I was like, yeah, I do.
He lives in Atlanta and he's a maniac.
And he was great.
And, you know, the same kind of situation.
But then Austin, though, Austin was like, I told him.
He's like, why the fuck are you talking about?
Why is Corey coming?
And I was like, come on, Austin.
Don't reduce it to that, Craig.
Don't reduce it.
Well, okay, but explain.
You were like, but you said, I'm Craig's friend.
I was just kind of like, I hadn't really.
I get it.
I would do the same thing.
If you brought one of your friends, I'd be like, but I'm Austin's friend.
Okay, you can say it in that manner.
Like, the way that you said it, you know, before.
made it sound very, very petty.
That's not what it was.
Well, the only reason I say that is because then you guys become besties and it's beautiful.
We become, you know, friends for sure.
And, and like, it easily could have been this funny thing where it's like, oh, man, you know,
look at Austin getting jealous of it or look at it.
And then we all just, you know, mesh.
It was just a great time, man.
But I think it's so much fun this year.
I think adding Corey is going to be healthy for reality TV because he is.
What a.
Well, he's not tainted by.
any of the shit that we are.
And, well, whatever, I'll just say it.
I'm saying, Austin and I are well aware of stuff that we shouldn't say.
Yeah.
And stuff that could get us in trouble.
And he's not.
And Corey's not.
And so in a beautiful, pure way, maybe it, it refines reality TV.
Are you going to come to the parties morning it?
I'm not sure yet.
Maybe.
Okay.
We'll see.
Well, you meet Corey there.
It's a lot going on.
Yeah, yeah.
This is a lot going on.
All right.
Are we annoying you?
No, no, no.
No, no.
It's taken the reins of this interview.
That's the point.
And like, we do that together.
Nobody gives the shit about me.
And like, we do that together because, you know, we obviously host our own podcast.
So Craig and I just start talking.
And then he's like, well, I didn't even ask that question.
We're like, I'm asking the questions.
I love that.
Austin's ignoring the fact that we have our own podcast in this room.
And he's just never known about it.
You know, secrets.
Me and chicks in the office have our own podcast.
on so. Okay.
Oh, I'm with Dylan.
All new drinks are now at McDonald's,
with refreshers like the strawberry watermelon refresher,
and the mango pineapple refresher with popping boba,
to crafted sodas like the Spriteberry blast,
with berry flavors and cold foam.
Who knew ice cold drinks could be so fire?
Try them all now at McDonald's.

I'm curious, Austin.
What was your vibe going into this season with seeing Sierra?
Where did you kind of leave off?
Did you have a plan?
Did you talk to her before?
Yeah.
So the last time that I had seen her in person was when she came in Charleston,
which came out on the show and on their show and on my show.
And it.
Which was before with her vacation.
Yes.
Yes.
You know, it was before.
Friendsgiving.
It was before.
Dog wedding.
Yes, yes. It was before I began. We see it all.
Yeah, it was before I began to see Olivia. And it was the first time that I was meeting up with her prior or after Summer House. And so like how to meet up, you know, how to talk because I don't like people being mad at me. I like especially people that I care about. So. And then and then I told her that I was seeing Olivia and I called her being like, hey, I'm probably going to come back to, you know, Vermont.
is this going to be a and she was like you know if like if you and her are good i mean of course i like
you respect it and and you know it's going to be a lot of fun like she but i still didn't know what
was actually going to happen like when i saw her for the first time in the house where all these
like awesome things happened in between us like such a fun year last year and she was a yeah because
one night and charleston isn't the same as going back to where they met for like for
Like two weeks.
Lost in the house for two weeks.
For two weeks.
And I think that both of us came into it with a very healthy approach of like,
I'm very interested in having you in my life.
And that means that we need to work on our friendship.
And so I definitely was nervous.
Like, oh, you know, it's going to be weird.
It's going to be awkward.
Like, I don't want that.
And I don't think it was.
I really don't think it was.
Like, of course you're going to watch and things, you know, happen.
Not like, you know, hooking up things.
But like, you know, some drama has.
things.
Yeah.
And, and, but prior to that, you know, I, I think that we were like doing like exceptionally
well together.
So it's just.
I like that.
Yeah.
I like that you can have communication about it and it's not just like.
They were doing exceptionally well until they weren't.
Yeah.
There's some teasing to be.
Well, look, look, you like film a show like this and everyone has their breaking point.
Yeah.
Right.
And not that she drove me to my breaking point.
is she didn't. But everyone does. Craig had his a little earlier than the rest of the
first. Craig is like on night two, you know, and I'm not even there. And uh, yeah, Alston shows
somebody. He's like, what the fuck? Craig's already lost it. Like, what happened? There's a lot of
broken glass in that teaser. I'm like, I don't know. That was Corey. I was like, Craig, we talked
about this. Yeah. He's like going off the rails.
When her house is in Southern Charm, Craig, you don't have to fucking scream at everyone.
So, I mean, you know, my breaking, like everyone had theirs at some point. Let's just say.
that.
Well, which is great, because what are you going to watch a show that everyone gets along?
No.
But that's what's always funny to me, man.
People pretend that they want us all to sing kumbaya.
I'm like, no, you don't.
No, you don't.
You have to have balance.
You want me and Craig to have a fight in the parking lot.
And I'm sure, well, whether you're going to ask or not, like, and you can get there.
But like, our fights, our fights that all of us get into in real life, ours are just
on camera.
Yeah.
And like, there's a way to look at it and be like, okay.
Yeah.
And so the thing is, you know, with guys.
especially with me and Craig and Shep
and Whitney, for that matter,
is what I'm used to.
Our bounce back.
We're kidding.
Breaking news.
We love Whitney.
Show up for a reunion once in your life.
Come and film the reunion of the show
that you're an EP of you cast.
He's like, I don't know, I'm good.
No, no, totally.
This season of all seasons, I'm like, Whitney.
He's like, I'd rather walk on your broken glass.
Like, that's him.
And it's too funny.
Whitney would fake his own death
before ever coming back to us.
their talk reunion.
True story.
And like our bounce back rate is so quick, you know, with all of us.
Well, with guys.
Yeah.
You know, Craig and I actually went through it a little bit.
And like we had to work through that on the season of charm.
And that actually happened.
But normally, but when you yell at the opposite sex, which we try our hardest
not to, but it fucking happens.
I did last year at Leva.
And last year at Amanda at one point.
And Craig did it.
launched the Sierra on Southern Charm.
And like, that bounce back is not the same as when you're yelling at, you know, your buddy.
And I think that we both kind of learned that.
I'm going to put Luke in that category of, you know, Craig yelled at the opposite sex.
But don't, shh, kidding.
Love you, Luke.
I want to talk about Luke a little bit because in this first episode, you see him and you say that you guys are kind of just like opposite energies as people a little bit.
And then we get two sides of a story that I found kind of hard to follow about what happened when you visited him for the Fourth of July.
Yeah, why are they trying to make that a thing?
That's trying to.
I'm like, so there are fireworks, then the boat and then they're staying in, like.
So, okay.
Clear the Fourth of July up for us.
I'm just going to tell you exactly.
Clear up the Fourth of July.
That motherfucker threw all our fireworks in the water and it pissed me off.
So it's Fourth of July.
Like, we come back to Luke's, you know, cabin, which actually is pretty rad cabin.
Like, oh, my God.
We slept in the woods.
Me and him.
Dude, he has a bunk house that's half the size of this.
And Craig and I slept on like, you know, Cots essentially.
And that was our sleeping situation for like three or four nights.
So we get back.
Craig goes the end of the dock with Luke's fireworks or some fireworks.
He gave us fireworks.
It was Fourth of July.
And so Craig is lighting him off.
Yes, Craig.
We know it was Fourth of July.
And he is lighting him off, right?
And now, you know, on fireworks, they explode, you know, the embers, they come out.
And so Ash was getting in his boat.
Yeah, we fucked up.
And so he had this boat that he was, no, no, no, you didn't like burn seats and shit, though, did you?
No.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It was just ash.
And, and, and, and Luke had a meltdown about it.
And he, and, like, you know, he locked, like, his main cabin.
We were like, get some water.
And he, like, locked his main cabin.
Yeah, we ended up in the middle of the night.
Like, okay, I'm going to go inside.
I'm getting in some water
and it was locked
and like what the hell happened
and it was because of that
and then in the next day
he was like okay man my bad
my bad
that was like a patty little freak out of mine
and that's what hopefully
everyone can understand is like
everyone has these fights with people
yeah this one just was captured
yeah and so you'll get to see how we work through it
and so it's funny enough
um
Luke is like
me and Luke
have like a bromance kind of going on
throughout the season.
It was like an unexpected one.
It was an unexpected romance.
See, you, because you have Corey, Austin has Luke now.
Well, we were basically the only single one.
Not single, but you know, ones that didn't have a girl situation, you know, going on.
The last thing I do want to ask you about, though, is the cash that you brought to the house?
Of course.
For the bedroom.
Was that your plan?
the cash seemed so ready on hand to be dealt out as needed.
It's really, this is what makes things tough when they do this shit.
Yeah, we were going to take the primary bedroom.
It's the only way I could do 18 days in Vermont doing this.
And I thought it was considerate to bring people money.
It's just like upgrading in a hotel.
I guess they've made a new story out of it.
but yeah, no, I mean, Kyle and Amanda are married.
And I, you know, I kind of thought that I wanted my bedroom from last year because I low-key
had the best bedroom and no one realized it.
But, yeah, we needed the, I ordered a fridge for our room and everything.
So I thought it would be nice to give Kyle $1,000.
And then I was like, oh, I will split it between him and Amanda.
And he'll be like, you know what?
I'll suck it up and be in this room.
But.
I mean, I would take $1,000.
Well, thank you guys.
This was so fun.
Thanks, guys.
Dylan.
What are you most looking forward to people seeing this season on Winterhouse?
What's like the thing that you had the most fun doing or like the something that, you know, you want to see?
I think that I had fun, you know, so.
So when the Tom's game, we had a big day to snowboard.
And then we had our kind of what's become like an annual sort of, you know, Arctic games.
and then we all like all the guys went in the hot tub and and that was the only time that
was in the hot tub the whole season and I I think that that was a lot of fun I think it was a lot of
fun I don't know I just think them kind of adding like a new no dynamic and layer to it uh is definitely
what I'm anxious to see or or my first night dinner that I threw I think that was funny amazing
well I'm looking forward to it yeah it's gonna be fun well it's gonna be fun I think the bravo verse
mirroring the Marvelverse is good.
And I think the more shows we pull into this is beautiful.
So amazing.
Well, thank you guys so much for being here.
Everybody watch Winterhouse Thursday nights on Bravo.
Watch Winterhouse, baches.
