Betches Media presents.
Ha ha, laugh, funny.
Mention It All, a Bravo by Betches podcast.
We don't say that, but now we said it.
With me, Dylan Hafer.
We're going to check me, both.
Hey, everyone.
Welcome back to the Mentioned At All podcast.
I'm Dylan Hafer.
We're closing the loop on another week here.
If you didn't have a chance yet to listen to my interview from yesterday with Mr. Jesse Lally from the Valley,
I had like a strangely good time talking to him.
I always feel like when the,
When I'm speaking to straight men on Bravo shows that I haven't met before, I'm always like,
okay, what's the vibe going to be like here? Because I don't know. Like, in my day-to-day life,
I would say I spend a limited amount of my time just like sitting down and really having a good
chit-chat with straight men. And so when it's somebody who not only, you know, a straight man,
but I also have seen him making a lot of choices, some of them questionable on television.
You never know quite what the vibe is going to be like.
And Jesse, I got to say in person, very charming.
He looked very put together.
It was his first podcast interview.
I thought he did a great job.
I hope you enjoyed that episode.
The Valley, five weeks left, there better be a reunion.
So hopefully six or seven weeks left.
We talked a lot about a potential season two.
I don't know kind of where they are in the process of a,
officially renewing that show, but it seems to me like it would be pretty much a no-brainer at this
point that they would bring them back for a second season. And even more so, because of some news
that we got this week, according to TMZ report at first, that Vanderpump Rules is going to be
taking a brief pause from filming this summer and, you know, taking a little bit of more of a
hiatus before they film season 12 to let things develop, to allow, to allow, to allow, to allow,
things to move along. And, I mean, to put it bluntly, like, this cast has some challenges in the fact
that not everybody is necessarily getting along or in a position to try to get along. And that's
not really sustainable in the long run for an ensemble show like this. I think that this season has
been necessary, you know, like, of course, certain things that are frustrating or certain things that
work maybe less well than others this season. But we needed to follow this Gandival,
you know, the long tale of this major storyline. But I think that with Vanderpump
rules, it's the kind of thing where every couple of seasons you need something like really
new and fresh going on. You know, back in the day, something like Jackson Stasi breaking up.
And then Tom and Kristen breaking up. Like those would have been sort of like the big, the big
storylines. And there was always something new happening. Even then when James,
Lala entered the fray and then Brittany came and there was the whole Jackson Britney stuff.
And then there were weddings and divorces and breakups and whatever.
And so it just makes sense that it's like we've now had enough time of processing Scandival.
We had Tom and Katie's divorce and it's like, okay, let's let's let the chips fall a little bit further before we do another one of these.
So Andy did talk about this on the radio yesterday with John Hill.
He said, we used to do this all the time with the housewives.
We would say, you know what, let's put cameras down for four or five months and come back to them.
And they will have lived life and things will be different.
And okay, so this is obviously true.
I'm a little confused why Andy is saying we used to do this all the time with the housewives.
I'm like, sir, look at the state of your franchises right now.
You used to do this right now with Atlanta.
You used to do this until a few weeks ago with New York.
Like, the cameras have been down, my guy.
Like, I don't, I think that with Vanderpump Rules, this is definitely the right choice.
But for him to act like this is something that they haven't done recently.
It's like, no, no, no, we're very aware with shows being, like, put on a little bit of a pause.
But with Vanderpump Rules, this is really, I think it's heartening in a way to see that they are doing this.
because on the face of it, this show is coming off of its most kind of relevant year and a half of airing.
Even if it doesn't seem like the golden age of Vanderpump Rules, like this show is more widely known and talked about and seen than it ever was in like season two or three.
You know, this was, it's kind of like a sleeper hit when you think about it.
but I really am glad that Bravo is not just sort of resting on that momentum and like pushing them
into another season in, you know, right after the reunion airs because they could.
That's the thing.
Like most of the people on this cast would be perfectly happy to just jump right back into it
and kind of tread water a little bit.
You know, maybe Ariana would leave.
Maybe there would be some more like tinkering around with the cast.
But in general, like they could eke out another season.
season this way. But I'm hoping that the fact that they're taking this time means not only that
the cast will have time to like, you know, live life and develop whatever, you know,
storylines slash life developments. I guess it's not a storyline if you're not filming.
But also, I'm like, this gives the network and the production company time to like actually think
about what direction are we taking this show, not just next.
season, but into the future. Like, if there are people that we decide we don't see a future with
on this show, now is a logical time to kind of make some of those changes. And I, I suggested on
social media the other day that maybe there would be a, like a little bit of a reaping to
bring some people to the valley. I don't know if that's going to happen. I think it definitely
could. I think I talked a couple weeks ago that Sheena said,
that she would do both the Valley and Vanderpump Rules,
but that she would never leave one show to do the other.
Now, of course, that might not be her choice.
But as we know, Bravo cast members aren't always given much of a choice about if you want to be on a show.
You don't get to pick which one.
But I don't know.
The thing with the Valley is that it's been such a fun surprise this season,
how exciting it's been and how watchable it is and how kind of interesting a lot of the personalities are,
particularly from the people that we didn't know prior to the season airing.
And of course, with Brittany and Jacks' relationship development, with what's going on with Jesse and Michelle,
it seems like there is already a lot there for season two.
And so I don't necessarily want every episode of the Valley to then have 10 minutes devoted
to Sheena and Brock, or like to, you know, Lala's sperm donor journey.
Like, she's going to have a second baby by the time they would be filming.
I don't know if that really is going to elevate the valley.
And I think the valley, part of what has made it work so well is because it doesn't really
have that, like, reality star lens to it, other than Jack's, like, numerous business ventures
that he's working on where it's like, oh, well, I got to do the bar and I got to do the hair thing.
And, you know, I'm working. I'm working all the time. And that's why I don't have to have
for Dightonoy. Like, it's kind of nice watching a cast of people who have their own shit,
you know, stuff they're working through, their own drama, their own personal issues.
But they're not reality, you know, starlets who are also influencers.
You know, it's just as like, it's been a little bit of a breath of fresh air.
And I worry that if the Vanderpump rules, people start to creep in more than, you know, the original three, that it just would feel like kind of like past its prime Vanderpump rules versus like something kind of new and different, which the Valley sort of is.
So I don't know.
I mean, I think like people like James and Allie, people like Tom Schwartz and Katie should probably feel pretty secure on Vanderpump Rules.
really see them making like a massive reboot change because I think the fact that they're taking the
time probably means that they are going to let things develop with this cast and maybe make a
couple of changes, but I don't think they're going to do like a reboot. I don't think they're going
to do like a, you know, a hard reset where they only keep two or three people and everybody else
gets the boot. It's not going to be like a Rony season five situation. And I don't think we need that.
I think we just need to see where next season goes, see how it kind of works out. And, and
and then hopefully, hopefully, like a year from now,
we'll have something exciting to watch.
And also maybe there will be like some housewives shows on.
And so we won't be relying so completely on Vanderpump rules
to sort of carry the flag.
So good, so good, so good.

Another little piece of news,
I am going to talk more about this week's episode
of Vanderpump Rules
because I feel like randomly,
it's been a minute since I've really tived into Vanderpump Rules.
A little piece of news that I noticed this morning.
Maricio Bada Condo!
He's moving out.
We got a bachelor pad.
I am weirdly so happy with this news because one of my least favorite things, and I've
talked about this before, is when rich people are going through like a separation,
a divorce, whatever, and they stay in the same house for like nine months after they're separated.
And they're like, yeah, you know, it's awkward.
We have to like tiptoe around each other.
And it's like, get a fucking apartment.
I know that it takes time to figure out all your shit.
but it's like, Maricio is literally like a real estate maven.
Is maven a gender neutral term?
I don't know.
Am I?
I'm looking at Jess by producer.
It's gender neutral.
He's a real estate maven.
Like, you don't have to go on street easy and like text these like skeezy brokers to try and find an apartment.
Like just get one.
And I'm glad that he finally has.
He has reportedly bought a condo in a luxury West Hollywood building, the same building in which Matt Damon has a condo.
So Maricio is really, he's investing in The Bachelor Pad, I guess you could say.
According to this Us Weekly report, Kyle and Maricio have been living separately for the last few months, and he's been staying in this condo, I guess.
But they've both been traveling a lot recently, so it's working out.
They don't have to stay under one roof.
this little detail is just like L.O.L. to me.
It says that Umanski will, quote, visit their primary residence often when Kyle is out of town.
It's like, okay, like, okay.
So I guess he's not technically vacating the house.
He just is acquiring a place to live that's not the house.
But then when she's not there, it's not like that's, I don't know.
You know what I'm saying.
Like, it's not like she took the house and he took.
the not the house. I think this seems healthy, but also it's, it is a, a signal that, you know,
they are not getting back together. I don't know why we're kind of like, it feels like we're
taking a long time to get to this point where it's like, oh, we're separated, but I don't know.
And, you know, for the girls and we'll see. And, you know, Kyle now is on like fucking Amazon
live being coy about whether she's coming back to Beverly Hills next season. She's like,
I'll have an announcement soon. And it's like, girl, we know. We know.
you got the contract. Like, clearly. But at this point, it's like the two of them have clearly been
living separate lives for eight months, nine months, a year, more, you know, debatable what we saw
on last season of Beverly Hills, whether they were already living separate lives. I am glad that he
is not going to be living in this house with her anymore because it's like, you're, you guys are in
your 50s. Like, go figure out the next chapter. And if that includes,
you know, if you don't want to get divorced yet or you feel weird about, I don't know.
Like, they clearly have a lot of like trouble sort of just like, I don't know, as Kyle would say,
I guess being open and honest about exactly where they're going with this.
But I think that this is a step in the right direction.
And I hope that, I hope that we will see some of this conversation on Real House House House
I said Beverly Hills next season.
But I'm not holding my breath because I'm sure that Maricio is more likely to talk about it on his Netflix.
show, which I still refuse to watch. But anyway, let's talk about Vanderpump Rules.
We have not given it enough love the last couple weeks. And now we are barreling toward the end of
the season. I believe next week is the finale, which like it is kind of crazy that this season
of Vanderpump Rules is going to be like 15 episodes and the Valley is 12. And I'm like,
the show that I feel like I could use more episodes of is not Vanderpump Rules.
It's telling. It's, it's worth note.
But yeah, we're like going on this San Francisco trip.
And I always feel like the underpump rules has like a weird history with trips because
they've never really gotten like the housewives treatment when it comes to going on trips.
Like they've gone to Mexico a gazillion times.
They've gone to like, you know, different like California lakey destinations.
But it's not like housewives where it's like, oh yeah, like pretty much every season we get to go on like a big
international trip. And I don't know, I don't know like what's the exact reason for that, but this season of all seasons,
I'm like, this shit just got Emmy nominated. And the best we can do is like a two-day trip to San Francisco.
Now, this is no shade to San Francisco. I've actually never been to San Francisco. I would love to go.
If somebody wants to host me in San Francisco, I'm available. I would come. San Francisco sounds great.
I love a climate where you can go out in like jeans and a jacket.
it pretty much year-round.
But I just don't understand, like, the lack of fanfare around the travel situation on
this season of Vanderpumpur is that the only trips that we can get are going to Tahoe for,
like, the not even the opening of Lisa's new restaurant, but just, like, to see the place
before it was decorated.
And then to San Francisco for, like, Tom and Sheena's fuck-ass gig, where Sheena's going to
debut her new song, Apples, which has a reference to Scandival that they finally, you know,
hugged and cried it out over after getting into a screaming fight last week. It's like,
what is the reason? Where was the budget? Did their passports get held up at customs? Like,
we can't go anywhere international? Why are we not in Australia? If Brock is here for any reason,
why is it not planning a cast trip to Australia?
If Brock and Sheena stick around for season 12 of this trip,
they better be fucking going down under.
Let me tell you that.
I don't think we've ever had a Bravo cast trip to Australia.
Somebody's going to fact check me on that and give me like a one-star review on Apple.
They're going to be like, actually, it's season one of this year.
They went to Australia.
Let me know.
Not in a one-star review, please.
No, but I just want more.
Good sleep is everything.

you can do anything.
So people can see your thing, feel your thing, love your thing.
The next thing you know, it's a thing.
Canva, the thing that makes anything a thing.
You know what I don't want more of, though, is Joe, Joseph.
Joe, Joe, what is her actual name?
Jolene?
Josephine?
I don't know.
But she is back after a brief break with Tom Schwartz.
We see her first at Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras's gig.
She's there with Schwartz and then they're outside after.
And the conversation between them is so damn awkward because he's like, oh, like,
Joe, how's your break been?
And it's like the way he says break, it's like they're in college and they just came back from like winter Christmas vacation.
And it's like, oh, what did you do over your break?
Like did you, you know, did you ski with your family?
Did you get a lot of presents?
Did you fuck a lot of dudes?
It's like, what are we doing here?
Like, how was your break?
It's like she's been probably sitting at home like Jones in to come do the robot with you on camera.
clearly she can't wait to do the robot again.
I have never seen somebody like actually do the robot as much as I have seen Joe do
the robot this season of Anna Prop rules.
It's really troubling.
It's so bizarre.
But Joe, I mean, to her credit, Tom Schwartz is not doing a great job at maintaining or clearly
establishing whatever boundaries he allegedly wanted to establish and the reason for their
break.
Because now they're at this.
gate together. You know, he's asking her about fucking guys while they've been on their weird two-week
break. And then she's coming to San Francisco. But he's like, but remember, if people ask,
we're just friends. And she's like, beep, boop, boop, poop, beep, just friends. I got it. Like,
cut the girl some slack. Maybe just don't, I don't know what her like filming contract situation was
because she, she has a confessional. She clearly is like a friend of on.
the season she is going to be at the reunion.
So maybe she was just like invited on the trip by production.
But it is strange that like if,
if Schwartz really doesn't want to be with her as he says he does not,
then like, why do you want her around in this way?
And I get that it's like people have different like takes on a relationship where it's like
he might want, he might genuinely want her as a friend.
but it really feels like he can't decide.
It feels like he can't make up his mind about whether he would rather just like go cold turkey with Joe or whether it's like, no, but like come cuddle, come hang out.
Come, come be my, be my, you know, my bro, my friend.
Like he just kind of wants it both ways, every way.
It's like more than two ways even, I feel like there's so many ways.
And you know what then?
made me even more annoyed at the end of the episode is when they're at this roaring 20s
dinner, whatever, in San Francisco, and Schwartz and Katie are having this moment that was honestly
kind of a nice moment. I have really enjoyed seeing them get to a better place this season. I think
that has been a bright spot of this season that Schwartz and Katie, it feels like they have
sort of found a mature next chapter of their relationship together.
And then Schwartz kind of bungles it by being like, oh, you know, Katie, you like me again.
What if we, uh, what if we had a one night stand?
But like a one night stand like for us, like we order a ton of junk food and we sit in bed
and we scroll just like old times.
And I felt for Katie in that moment.
you can see that there's just like that slight realization that it's like, yeah, you're still,
you're still like kind of a man child.
That he, you know, I don't think Schwartz is a bad guy.
I don't think that he is like, I mean, he's had his moments, certainly on the show.
But in general, he is not necessarily toxic in the way that we have seen some guys be
like toxic with a capital T.
but also it's a little toxic that you have like just kind of gotten to a good place of like normalcy with your ex
that for a lot of reasons including reality TV monetary whatever you still are in the same friend
group as your ex and spending a lot of time with them and on a trip together and xyz and certainly
they're doing better than ariana and sandoval which we'll get to but that you can't just
get to that place and be like okay this is good
Good, we did it. You have to make the corner and choose the thing and I'm like, maybe he was kidding,
but maybe he wasn't. And you can't quite be sure because then he's like, ha, ha, ha, yeah, you're
right. That would be too intimate. But what if we just fucked instead? It's like, no. First of all,
like, that's not what Katie wants. Like, read the, read the damn room. Katie is not like the kind of person
who's just going to, like, get a little tipsy and then fall into bed with Tom Schwartz again.
Like, love her or not. I think that she has her.
her head on just a little bit straighter than that.
But then this whole thing becomes even
weirder when you remember that Joe is like
hours from now arriving on this trip.
That it's not even like, oh, I haven't spoken to Joe in a month.
I feel like I am really in a healthy place by myself.
And then now I'm having these weird feelings for Katie.
It's like, no, my like maybe kind of not quite a girlfriend
but thinks she is and everybody else does too
is literally like going to bed early so she can wake up for her flight.
Like, is he, I was going to say, is he dumb? But like, the answer might just be yes. So,
I don't know. I don't know. Like, I like Schwartz and I want to like Schwartz, but just in that
moment, I'm like, can you not? You're divorced. I don't know. I don't think that this is like a
big enough thing that it's going to like ruin the dynamic that Katie and Schwartz have,
have worked on.
It just was one of those moments where I'm like, man, don't make it weird.
Like, ugh.
Ugh.
See, that's why I don't spend a lot of time chit-chatting with straight men.
Just like, keep it together.
I was happy on this episode, though, speaking of straight men to meet Ariana's new boyfriend,
Dan.
They have a little dinner date before the trip to San Francisco, which was nice.
It was nice to see them kind of like one-on-one before Dan gets introduced to the group,
or at least introduced to some of the group.
He doesn't have a formal introduction to Sandoval that we have seen so far.
But they seem to have just like a very easy connection with each other.
Obviously they are doing long distance.
Dan lives in New York.
And Ariana kind of is like making like cute little jabs at him about maybe moving to California.
And he seems very not not in the mood to move to California.
And I don't know.
To me that doesn't bother me.
First of all, I would hope that they are not.
really moving so quickly with things where it's like a big deal that they don't have a long-term
plan right now where they're living in the same place. I mean, it's very different from watching
Kristen and Luke on the Valley where she's like, you know, buying pregnancy tests in bulk and
being like, is today the day? What about tomorrow? What about the day after? What about the next week?
Like, Ariana seems to be in a little more chill place. Obviously, she has just gotten out of a super
long relationship, which Lala just can't deal with. Lala's behavior.
on this season continues to be so frustrating because there are moments where I'm like, okay,
I can see in this position that you were probably sort of put in a tough spot by production
and kind of being used as like the plot device to move things along, like kind of her vibe
with Sandoval.
I think a lot of that I can chalk it up to production.
But in this case, I'm like, why are you making these weird comments about Ariana's new
relationship saying like, Dan seems nice, but something must be off because why?
on earth would he want to have anything to do with Ariana after she just got out of a 10-year
relationship? It's like, okay, like, I don't think it's a bad thing to be like, oh, I want to make
sure he has good intentions before my friend is like getting too deep. That would be a way that you
could phrase it to make it seem like a normal concern. But the way that Lala comes across is just
like a little bit of a hater. And it's like, Ariana is like objectively a catch. Like she is,
successful, she is beautiful, she is, you know, really, it feels like she's sort of like coming into
her own as like a talented, confident, hot, successful person. Like, it's just like that is,
she has a lot of attractive traits. And obviously, like, she is more known because of this
relationship stuff. But like, I don't know why that would make someone like not want to be with her.
I don't know.
It just is, it's like, can we not, Lala?
But then she also still is like saying that someday Ariana will be able to, what does she say?
Oh, I wrote it down because it bothered me.
She says that someday Ariana will be at a point where she can rekindle a friendship with Sandoval.
And this is also kind of what Brock is like trying to get Ariana to do later in the episode when he's like, oh, well, yeah.
I mean, I'll get that you don't walk him right now.
but then someday you'll get to a place where you can forgive him and then move on.
And Ariana, like, I just think over the course of this season, it's like,
Ariana has been like so clear.
And so, like, it's such a simple thing where she's like, I don't care.
I am good.
I will move on without being friends with him, without needing to forgive him.
Nobody has, you know, she doesn't need to do.
anything. She's doing fine. And for Brock to be like, well, you know, you can't get to a place of peace
without forgiveness. And she's saying, actually, I can't. I'm just fine. Thank you. And I think that that's
kind of like the biggest, obviously, you know, Sandoval and Ariana is the biggest sort of hurdle in this show
really moving forward. Because if Ariana is never willing to forgive and never willing to, you know,
be friends or whatever, then how is the group all going to hang out? And it's not going to be awkward
every time.
And what it really comes down to is Ariana being like, that's not my fault.
That's not my problem.
I didn't do anything.
And that's sort of what Sheena finally gets, I think, Tom to realize at the end of this
episode that it's like every time that you try and justify or you try and explain or
you try and frame it in a different way what happened with Tom and Rachel, it comes across
as you blaming Ariana and you not taking accountability and you making excuses.
And at the end of the day, that it's like, Ariana didn't do anything wrong.
She went to therapy.
She was, you know, freezing her eggs, all of the stuff that she was pointing out, which I think is
like a great way to frame it, that it's like, even if there were issues in your relationship
that both of you could have acknowledged, that is not equivalent to anything that Tom
of all did. So it was nice at the very end to finally see Tom kind of get to that point a little bit. I'm,
I don't know if it'll stick. I feel like we could backslide in next week and, you know,
at the reunion, who knows. But we've been waiting a long time this season for him to kind of
just like stand there and listen. And I feel like sheena, she finally got there. Good for Shishu.
Good for Shishu. It's been a tough.
It's been a tough ride for Shishu, but she did good on that one.

I don't have to think about what I'm going to reach for when I'm thirsty because obviously it is Splash.
I am currently sitting here at the microphone with a nice,
wild berry splash that I have poured into a glass over some ice. It is delicious and refreshing.
And it puts me in the exact right mood to talk about who is in this week's splash zone.
Who's in the hot seat? Who's making the biggest splash in the Bravo universe this week?
Look, we got to talk about some things that are happening in the Bravo universe on social media.
Because some people, and I'm not saying it's you, whoever you are out there listening,
I'm sure that you are keeping it fun, keeping it cute, keeping it light and cute and hydrated and refreshing on social media.
But some people just are not getting the vibes.
And there are a couple things that I'm talking about in this sense.
First of all, we can't be body shaming these bravo leberties.
Keep it to yourself.
Or best of all, keep it nowhere.
You shouldn't even be, why aren't even having these thoughts?
Specifically, I'm referring to a clip from the velders.
Valley that was posted on the Bravo Instagram.
And it's a clip of Kristen Doty talking to her boyfriend, Luke, you know, I'm sure they're figuring
out whether they're going to live in Colorado or L.A. or where his gecko is going to live.
I don't know.
The clip is irrelevant.
The thing is, all of these comments flood in commenting on how Kristen looks, talking about
her body, talking about, you know, how she doesn't look the way that she used to.
And Kristen posted on her Instagram story.
She shared this clip and says, I was asked to be a collaborator on this video and I'll have to pass.
Everyone making comments about my weight, my quote, saggy boobs, and my body in general, you should really be ashamed of yourselves.
Could you imagine someone saying this to your girl, wife, sister, mother, daughter, sad, disheartened, and appalled?
Kristen is a woman in her 40s who has been on TV for over a decade at this point.
people have forgotten that like you're supposed to age.
Like a woman who is on a TV show in her 20s is not going to look the same when she's on a TV show in her 40s.
And that's like literal human like biology.
I don't know.
I remember this happened last year when Kristen was, she posted some video about Scandival or maybe she was on Watch.
What Happens Live or something.
And she had to post a video basically responding to comments like this.
And she was like, you guys, I'm in my, I'm.
40 years old. I've been on TV for this long. You haven't seen me in however many years since I left
Vanderpump Rules. Like, yeah, I don't look the same. And that's so normal. And the fact that in this
specific one, she's talking about how this clip that Bravo posted, they requested to be a collaborator. And if you,
you know, if you have a healthy relationship with social media and you don't spend a lot of time on
there, if you accept the collaboration, then it shows up on your profile too. And basically, I think
Kristen is saying, she doesn't want to have this video where all of these comments are just
dragging her, what she looks like on her own page, which I totally understand. Like,
protect your peace, keep your space, your space. And look, if you want to have criticism for
Kristen Doty, there are infinite things that you could direct it toward that aren't about
her body or how she's aging or the way she looks. And it's like, come up with something better.
There are hundreds of episodes that she has been on doing all sorts of things that you could have strong negative thoughts about that aren't related to how she looks.
And I just would love for people to be a little bit more creative and they're trolling, a little bit less focused on how people look.
There's another thing we got to talk about when it comes to social media.
And that is the media literacy piece when it comes to casting rumors and reports and things that people are saying in the streets about what might be happening on various shows.
And the specific one that comes to mind today is the rumor, I guess, over the weekend that
Chelsea Handler was joining Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
I think this originated from our friend Aden, who's very funny on Twitter.
And if you follow him on Twitter, you would know that nothing he says should be taken seriously.
Like, first of all, it doesn't sound true.
Like, Chelsea Handler joining Housewives is not something that would make sense.
she has talked in the past about how she isn't a fan of Real Housewives,
how she thinks, you know, it's like basically not good for women,
whatever, that's like neither here nor there at this point.
But she also just like isn't the type of celebrity who would be willing to open up her life like that
for somebody else's TV show.
She's the kind of person where if she wants to,
if she has like something she wants to share or if she has like a, you know,
a journey she wants to take.
us on, she's going to produce it herself. It's going to be her own Netflix series or her own
stand-up special or her own documentary. Like, Chelsea Handler is not going to like go to lunch with
Sutton and tell her what's been up in her life lately. But anyway, this literal joke on Twitter
then, of course, got picked up from other places. People are writing, oh, that it's a rumor,
it's reported that she's joining Housewives until Chelsea posts a screenshot of one of these
articles saying, just this is not true. And we've had this happen.
in the last few years with other, you know, celebrities, kind of celebrities, public figures of
varying degrees that basically are just like, hey, guys, I've literally never spoken to them about
joining housewives. Or maybe there was a phone call one time and that I didn't return, a meeting
that I didn't schedule. And I just feel like we need to be a little bit better at reading between
the lines, at clicking on a profile and seeing is everything else they post a silly,
joke, then this thing is probably also a silly joke. And it's, it's fine. Like, I want us to be able to
have silly jokes that don't then become news stories with people being like, pissed off about this
whole thing. Like, we just want to have fun. I just want to have fun. And I mean, like, the body
shaming is worse than the thinking that a tweet was real that wasn't real. Don't get me wrong.
But I think everybody could just stand to like, take a step back, take a drink, get a little
composure in their lives, and then move forward from there.
