Mention It All.
A Bravo by Betcha's podcast.
We don't say that, but now we said it.
With Dylan Hafer.
We'll go check, me, though.
Hey, everyone.
Welcome back to the Mention at All podcast.
I'm Dylan Hafer, and today I am so excited to be joined in the studio by two stars of Bravo's
newest breakout show, Real Girlfriends in Paris.
Please welcome Margo and Victoria.
Hi.
Hello.
I'm so excited to have you guys in.
person in the studio. We were talking about
your lucky your show is coming out now
in 2022 when we can do fun
things in person again. I know you guys are in town. You're doing
Watch What happens live?
What's it like having the Bravo experience
now? It's really surreal. I grew up watching Bravo.
So it's like a really big full circle moment for me
because I loved the housewives. I actually lived right next to
Andy Cohen and see him all the time. I lived in the West
Village. So it's really weird now to be on the channel that I
I really, like, admired as a kid, and it was, like, an accidental, like, weird thing that
happened in my life.
So it's amazing.
I love that.
Yeah, no, it's totally a while.
Like, I never thought that I would ever be on a reality show, like, in my life.
And, like, I loved watching it, of course.
But, like, for me, whenever, like, I found out I was going to be on it, I was, like,
okay, like, I have something that I want to share with, like, other people.
Like, example, it's, like, someone's from, like, a small town.
And, like, just to kind of, like, inspire that you can set your mind to, like, whatever you
want to do and like you can do it but it's been wild now that everything is out it's i know it's so surreal
i know it was watch it was like it was like oh it's like it's like the best therapy it's like oh fuck
like i've grown that much and sin like it's all it's it's crazy and to go back i mean just going back
like nine months or whatever in your life you're like oh so much has changed exactly exactly
what did you tell me a little bit about the process of getting involved with the show how you kind of
got roped into it, whether you were hesitant at first.
What was that like for you?
Margo first, I guess.
I was a little, well, I wasn't hesitant.
Like, when the opportunity came to me, I was, like, very excited.
I was like, you know what?
I story everything.
I Instagram everything.
I'm very no filter.
So this, like, felt like the next step to kind of share my life with people.
So I wasn't hesitant.
And I was very excited about the opportunity.
But when I started filming, obviously, you can't be prepared for that before, like,
you mentally think you're just, they're just going to follow.
But it's like it's very different.
Once it's there, you have to get you.
used to cameras. You have to get used to all these things and pretending they're not there.
But it's, it's easier, it was easier for me to adapt than I thought it would be the first day of
filming. It took me like three days. And then I was like, I'm good. Oh, and that's like one of us for
sure. Because it took me like months to get used to it. Like I definitely like had a fagos
champagne before most scenes. Like it, it was, I had a joint. I can say that now because I'm in
America. Woo! Yeah. I mean, I, it's so different, you know, going about your everyday life.
and then they're kind of being that extra thing of cameras.
Even if you're doing the exact same routine that there's going to be kind of this.
And they're massive.
And you also know that like they're massive.
Yeah.
Like you can't miss them.
You're going to have like a bunch of people around you with these huge cameras.
And it's like, okay, we're not here.
So many cameras.
Poor guys like backed up into them.
Like, yeah.
Do you, I don't know.
Tell me a little bit about what the vibe is around reality TV in France where you guys are
living and shooting the show.
No one cares.
Oh, no one gives a shit on the street.
It's not the same in the U.S.
But reality TV, like French reality TV has, they don't do shows like in America at all.
It's very like, like Love Island type things, like in a house.
So they have a very negative connotation to reality TV in France.
And it's not like Kardashians.
Like they know the Kardashians, it's not an American type of thing.
So I think people were just very judgmental.
And now that it's like a parish or they're excited.
Like El France wrote about it, which is a big thing.
We're very excited because they usually shit on reality TV.
Well, they had nothing to compare it to.
But they liked it.
Yeah.
Well, they had nothing to, like, compare it to.
They were like, oh, this is going to be like, like, like, Cardassians.
They were like, this is a real life Emily in Paris situation.
Well, now that it's out.
Yeah.
They're like, oh, this is actually like.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But on the street, no one would like, they wouldn't even.
They're like, oh, these Americans with cameras.
Exactly.
Exactly.
It was more judgmental looks than anything.
I'm curious.
You bring up the Emily and Paris connection, which obviously is kind of like,
if you were to describe the show in one.
sentence, like that would likely be a kind of reference point. But as you two have been in Paris,
you know, some of the longer times in the group, obviously you have French parents and you spent
time they're growing up. You went to school there, Victoria. What do you feel about the Emily and Paris
of it all? And have you felt the city and the expat community kind of like changed in the last
couple years there? Yeah, I wouldn't really say that the expat community has changed. I would,
I would say that like with the comparison is like, I mean, we get that a ton.
I wouldn't really say that we're exactly like Emily and Paris.
I mean, my neighbor is generally named Gabriel and production literally die.
Like it's so funny because there's so many.
It's like, oh, this is so staged.
Like my, I died when she told me this.
He didn't, he wasn't planted.
Like I moved in and we met, started hooking up like before the show started basically.
Like it was like, we're not hooked up yet, but we had like met each other and I was like, this is wild.
You went to lunch with me and you're like, I kissed this guy.
And it was before the show.
I'm like, I don't think we've been told on the show yet that you guys are hooking up.
I'm not sure.
That feels like news to me, but I mean...
Fuck.
Well, it's a...
Maybe they do.
We don't know.
Perhaps.
I mean, Victoria.
My girls got my back.
Your first interaction on camera is you asking him for toilet paper and then saying that you need help getting groceries.
So I wouldn't say it felt like you were like especially, you know...
Uncomfortable.
Uncomfortable.
They're very comfortable
I mean, have you
seen the flights in Paris?
Like, not like the flights like the...
Bye, I'm going to wipe my ass.
Thank you so much.
When you knocked on the door, I'm like,
oh, she's going to need like an egg or something.
I watched it and I was like, Victoria.
I just got asked with me a little more like...
My face was red watching this for sure, for sure.
But we definitely had that level of comfort at that time.
I think we're...
I take the fucking cake.
But I'm in general.
We're only a few episodes into the show
And it does feel like you guys have a level of comfort around each other and a level of comfort
Kind of just being yourselves and
Especially for a show that is not like some of like a lot of other reality shows
It's not built as much on
Drama and you know sort of feuding within the group it feels more like you guys are kind of just on your own journeys
And then the group you know interconnects
That's what I was gonna say also about the Emily and Paris about like I mean even though Emily and Paris is not like I
Okay, so we get compared to two different shows.
Emily and Paris and the Real Housewives, right?
So the Real Housewives, it's like,
it's based around drama and we're also at different stages in her life.
Whereas Emily and Paris, that comparison,
when you're asking, like, describing, you know, the show in, like a few words.
Well, Emily and Paris, like, obviously is, like, scripted, right?
So I feel like this generally shows our, like, actual lives in Paris.
But it's, like, you put any six girls together.
Regardless of the age, there's going to be differences.
There's going to be, like.
You get closer, some don't, you fight, you, bicker.
It's not forced.
It's not over-traumatized.
It's not like the main focus.
But obviously the season gets spicier.
We don't.
All get along perfectly all the time.
But me and Vic stay the stay close together.
We're quite the duo.
My main girl over here.
Yeah.
So good, so good.

It's time for a trip to Ross.
Work your magic.
I thought it was interesting in the third episode.
Adja was talking about how there's sort of a divide within the group.
Some of you guys come from more privileged backgrounds and have,
maybe a network of connections or a safety net to fall back on and some of you guys don't have
that. Victoria, I'm curious to hear from you. You say that you didn't really have, you know,
that kind of help getting your start. What was it like being in Paris even before the show and
then kind of like navigating this group as somebody who really like did it all yourself?
So obviously like, you know, whenever you're watching the show and whenever we're having talks,
like, you know, normally these talks for a few more hours than are shown, right?
navigating this group was nothing different than anything that I had ever experienced before.
When I first moved to Paris, I was extremely, extremely broke.
Like, I moved there with my husband.
I had, like, just a budget for myself, which was a very minimal, minimal budget.
And I had to make it work for two people and, like, a grown-ass man.
And, like, so I always tell people, like, you can do it, move to Paris, do it.
Like, or move to any other city.
Like, if there's a will, there's a way.
And moving to a city where there is so much wealth, you can't compare yourself to other people.
And as I was like even telling Emily, you know, in further conversation that like it really doesn't matter.
And like this is my view on anyone that gets a connection from family, from friends, from whatever.
It doesn't matter how you get a connection in life.
It matters how you show up, the work you put in and the energy you carry.
and that's and that's kind of really how I view like I don't ever really compare myself of like oh my gosh
comparison is a thief of joy absolutely and like I but I did I will never like you know downplay the work
that I put in but I'm also not going to make someone else feel bad because of how they got a connection
either but at the end of the day it's about the work that you put in so you can be you know quote
unquote whatever privilege is to you or if you feel privileged and you walk in because you got a
connection in a certain way. And you can not do shit with that and show up and be a lazy fuck.
Or you can go up and be like, I'm going to work harder than anyone else. And there's actually
more pressure on that person to like live up to a certain standard. You know? So that's kind of like
my view on that. Yeah. And I think like we see Margo with you in these first few episodes that you
have this kind of desire to really do something on your own and establish, you know, all of these
ideas that you have and really see something through. Do you think the show and doing the show and being
around these people kind of pushed you to want to do that more?
I think my mindset was COVID set me back.
I was figuring my stuff out and then COVID hit and I kind of got in this rut.
So I think no matter what I would be trying very hard at this time of my life, but the show
held me accountable, I think.
The girls held me accountable.
And it really helps me make it like a real vocal point.
It's not something that I would, like a lot of the times I say this on the show, I drop the
ball. I quit something early the second I got hard. Um, being on the show, I was like very determined
to prove to myself what I was capable of. So I think it definitely pushed me in a positive way.
Mm-hmm. It's like sometimes I think having that focus on you. Yeah. It's like, it can kind of force you
to do what you, what you want to do, but don't necessarily always have like the confidence or the
self-belief. Like it can kind of be like, okay, well, I don't want to look like, I don't want to feel
like I made a mistake, but I also don't want everybody else to see that I made a mistake. Yeah.
A thousand percent.
This season I always tell people, like, when they asked me, I was like, everyone's getting
late and I'm trying to fall in love with myself.
That's, that's, that's me.
This season, a little more self-love.
Yeah.
I love that.
I mean, I have to imagine dating and navigating all of that on camera has to be kind of a
trip.
Victoria, we've seen you, you know, figuring that out a little bit so far.
What was it like?
Did you know going into the filming experience that you were going to be open about, you
you're figuring out your sexuality and all of that stuff.
What was the thought process there?
Well, I had figured out my sexuality long before filming.
Okay.
Right.
And that's why, like, also, Margo knew way before I had that, you know, big conversation or quote unquote big.
Which is why I looked very relaxed during that scene.
I'm like, you know what's coming.
You're like eating the turkey.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Very chill.
You know, I, like, this whole new, and I think I've said this a few times too,
but like this whole new chapter of my life is living authentically for myself.
And like, I think coming from a small town, I was checking off all the boxes to impress, not impressed, but get validation from either family or neighbors or whoever that was or people I went to high school with or like, you know, any of these other people that I thought that I needed to compare myself to.
And when once you divorce happened, and it doesn't really matter how young you are when you go through a divorce.
A divorce is so traumatic, so detrimental to your mental health.
It's a dream stolen.
And I was like, I never want to make the wrong decision again.
And I realized that I haven't been living for myself.
And I had already told myself, like, you know, way before filming, even before I knew I was
doing the show, like, I knew that I wanted to, like, date a girl next.
And, like, but publicly, because I had privately before.
And I had wanted to, I didn't know.
And whether I was, like, dating something like, you know, exclusive or not.
Like, and I also wasn't ready to be exclusive.
And when I decided to, you know, accept and do the show, I decided, you know what, I'm going to be my most authentic self.
I'm done hiding.
And I'm done like trying to live up to anyone else's, like, expectations or standards or anything.
So like I went into like, I'm going to be an open book.
And, you know, it might rub some people the wrong way of this or that.
But I'm going to be me.
Because when I go to sleep at night, I'm the one who's going to deal with it.
whether I was like my most authentic self or not.
I agree with that.
Has your family been watching the show?
Yes.
Did you kind of, did you broach the topic before the show was happening?
Like what was the, how did you handle that, knowing that it was filmed and obviously going to be?
So I definitely had a lot of surprisingly lack of support during my divorce.
And because I had to navigate that on my own about a month before.
I had done before I found out I was going to do the show.
I was kind of like, honestly, fuck the people who haven't been there for me.
And I'm no longer going to live for them.
And if you haven't reached out to me or supported me during one of the hardest moments
in my entire life, I don't owe you anything or any respect.
You want to watch a show?
You watch it.
You want to find out.
You find out on your own.
And I did an interview, I think I was with you online or another publication where I was like,
you know, and I still stand by this.
Like I think that this was before the show was airing and it was like, you know, I think that a lot of people, you know, well, my family are going to have a lot of opinions and I can already assume what they're probably going to be.
And it's none of my business because that is not going to be beneficial for my mental health and I'm done with it.
I have lived my entire life with judgment and feeling like I was so much less of a person because if you have any life decision I was making, whether that's what I was wearing or what I wanted to do with my life or who I was.
dating or what I wanted to do and I'm I'm done with it you know yeah and in these I mean we see you
you have this career that you've worked hard for you're you know still in Paris after going to school
there and you're working and doing the whole thing like I think that's impressive that you really
have like built this life for yourself thank you it's it was a long time coming there was I don't
think there was ever a time in college that I wasn't working a total of three jobs oh my god
she's got crazy work at this way so you were figuring you were getting divorced like this time
last year then like it was that recent yeah well we were separated of virtual divorce it was it was over
zoom yeah it was over zoom because he was based in new york i was in l.a um because during covid
i got stuck in texas and for a few for a few um for a few months and then i was like of texas
not not i've texas but i just didn't want to be around yeah you know um any triggers of my own so i was in
LAY and the divorce came up.
And that's actually, I had posted,
I had an extreme divorce party
that one of my best friends threw me.
So epic.
Three page it's itinerary.
Like, it was epic from like sunrise to sundown.
Like insane photos to prove it.
It was so much fun.
And the day-
Rewind a wedding dress, like painted it.
Because I never had a wedding.
It was all the legality thing.
It was like just for him to move to Paris with me.
He didn't want to do long distance.
It was a whole thing.
And my family also didn't want to support me going
unless I was with someone.
Like it was a whole, it was a lot.
And so it was when I posted my divorce parties
when I got a message from someone
who wanted to cast me for the show.
And I thought it was fake.
And so it was all very recent.
We were separated for a while,
but we had the divorce over Zoom.
Wow.
Because of all the COVID distance, all the things.
We got married in Texas.
We met around that time.
Yeah.
She sent me all those photos.
And I said, you're a fucking icon.
This is some cool shit.
And she was like, I think it's cool.
I'm like, dude, you got divorced or 25?
I'm like it's rare like you're talking about.
And that was another thing too is I was so scared to post it day of.
Like a lot of my friends were like- She was so scared of judgment of being divorced.
And I was like, a lot of my family didn't agree with me getting divorced.
They're like, you don't divorce your husband.
You stay with them.
And I'm like, did you guys know he cheated on me?
Do you guys know he took a baby?
Yeah, that mindset is so different.
And I can imagine how it would be hard to kind of like break out of that.
That it's like, no, like, I wouldn't, why would I stay?
Why would I stay if I'm completely unhappy and the person is not treating me with the
at most respect.
Yeah.
You know, don't settle.
Also, like, you're, like, so young and you're, like, hot and living in Paris
and have your career.
Well, thank you.
You're, like, your entire life ahead of you.
You can date girls, neighbors, whatever you want.
Exactly.
There we go.
There we go.
I can have the best of it all.
Girls and neighbors.
Progress and neighbors, the two genders.
We love it.

And then Margot, I mean,
we've already seen both of your parents on the show.
Yes, we see her in, yeah, my mom in the third episode.
So what was it like kind of bringing them into the fold
and were they, like, weird around the cameras?
Like, what was your...
My dad loved it.
You could tell.
He watches his scenes over and over and over again, like the first episode and like cracks
up his jokes over and over again.
It's so funny.
And he's like, he's so cute.
Her dad is like cutest human on this planet.
Yeah, he's adorable.
And my mom, my mom was very skeptical about the show because she was nervous about the
Bravo aesthetic and everything in housewives.
But I, uh, she honestly like, she enjoyed filming in the end.
And she did it for me more than anything.
But I thought it was very important to show both my parents because it was, it was, I was genuinely facing both of them.
And they're very different.
They're divorced.
So I'm very happy that she ended up agreeing to film because it's, it's a really important to be able to see both for my storyline this season.
Totally.
Yeah.
I, your parent, I mean, the scene with your dad especially was so fun.
And just like, I feel like you're, we.
Wait for it.
My scenes with my dad.
There's a birthday dinner.
I think it's going to be out of fucking control.
I also feel like every time we've seen you in that apartment thus far,
there's been like,
there's been like some comedy going down like.
Like Anya's coming over to like fix your fridge.
I'm about to post a video of me in that window because it looks like I'm not doing anything
to try to open it.
And it looks like I'm just like shaking it.
But I'm going to show you guys this window is really messed up.
Like it like.
I'm like a tutorial.
Like I swear, I swear.
I believe you.
I've lived in an apartment with like a broken.
window.
And it's like,
it should be so easy to fix and then you just can't.
Well,
there's three ways to open it.
There's like a slant open at the top and it just won't open this way.
So it just like looks like it's about to fall on you.
It's this whole thing.
But yeah.
I feel like Paris apartments.
It's like a different world.
Mine's falling apart.
It's falling apart.
It's still less.
I haven't fixed everything.
Victoria,
I love seeing your career.
It's like a boss energy.
You're doing your designing, you're in your meetings.
What was it like doing your job on camera?
Was that a weird dynamic?
Oh, for sure.
Like I'm used to, well, I guess, I mean, it was a little bit weird, especially on whenever
I was like actually designing designing, which I don't know if we really like get to
see too much of that because it's like when I get into a universe of designing, it's like,
I'm like in that world and it's probably quite boring to see anyways, but it was still like,
oh, there's cameras around me.
Well, I'm just like in my thing.
It's a long process.
It's a long process.
Right.
But, you know, I feel like I'm a different person in the workplace and I am outside of the workplace.
Like I feel like I happen on and off.
And I thought it was like kind of interesting to be able to see it.
Yeah.
Like your professional side and you're going out with your friend's side.
Yeah.
Your side with me.
You got to do some like sketch TikToks or something.
Like people.
Everyone keeps telling me to do that.
Yeah.
Everyone always always helped me to do the sketch ones in the painting.
ones because I was an artist before she's an insane painter okay thank you
no really thank you my if I ever get the time you're a good hype woman I can tell I really
am especially it's not it's not hard oh I love it painter she is the ultimate
hype woman no it's not hard it's so inspiring divorce party woo that's true I don't
lie if I didn't like something I would say it too yeah no she also will give it to me straight
whenever she does not agree like something I do yeah you have a straight I'm very
You have a straight shooter energy about you.
It comes out. It comes out too.
It does.
Was there anyone on this cast that you felt like brought brought out the straight shooter energy
more than anyone else?
From me?
Yeah.
No.
Honestly, I think Vic is I'm closest to Vic.
So I would probably be more than lunch.
But I wouldn't say it's like a negative.
It was negative.
It's like from a place of love.
Yeah.
I think I honestly, I just wore it vomit and do it to myself.
Like I don't remember saying the pubic hair line.
Like it just like that should.
I do all the time.
Oh, if I ever was on any kind of reality show, that would be, there would be stuff
that I'm like, I didn't say that.
No, literally.
Like, if someone asked me, like, been like, Thanksgiving, like, how was it?
I would be like, totally great.
Like, it was so chill.
And then I, like, watched it back.
I was like, what the fuck?
Like, that's me.
Like, it's me in a nutshell, but, like, seeing yourself be filmed, like, a third party.
Oh, it's very interesting.
It is so crazy to see.
You just see your manners.
I saw my word vomiting self firsthand.
Was there anyone in the group that you felt like maybe.
turned it on more for the cameras or kind of had like a different thing they wanted to portray
on the show no but i will say on twitter ania's getting a lot of people saying that she is not like
she cannot be like this in real life and i'm she is literally like verbatim it's 24 fucking no like
that is i believe that like it really i understand why people would think that because she is i do
understand as well yeah like i feel like there's that thing but she's not on you know right you can
Not even an artist.
It's like just like a ball of energy.
Yeah.
And when she's like, you know, talking to Mathieu and like planning her Thanksgiving.
Matsue is a low-key star of the show to me.
I'm like, this is your life.
I can tell.
No, she really.
And she's, her pun, she's full of puns.
Oh, like even in our great message or even like when she's texting us.
She makes me laugh at a long time on texting, which never happens.
Oh, yeah.
Literally the same.
It's like a pun here or there.
It's like her personality even translates to that.
Like it's not.
an on for Anya.
That is genuinely who she is.
Like, when you meet her, you're like, am I meeting a character?
And you're like, this is who she actually is.
Wow.
The first time I hung out with her, I genuinely thought this had to be some sort of like,
like on.
And then it just was, like, is this girl for real?
And I was like, okay.
Okay, we're embracing this.
Yeah.
I was like, if someone's honest about what they are, I'm fine with it.
But I thought she was like putting on like at act like, but not at all.
And then, yeah.
I feel like you have a really great mix of personalities within your cast.
Yes.
somebody like Anya who's very upy and kind of bringing that energy all the time.
I feel like you're a little more down to earth like a little more low key.
Down to earth.
So rare that someone describes you.
I mean, maybe you are.
You are.
I'm really like I'm not like what I'm getting that much.
So thank you.
No, you absolutely are.
I'm getting chill.
I'm getting that I'm very chill.
You're super authentically yourself.
You don't even have to like try.
You're just like that was my one rule.
I just constantly reminding myself just be you and like it is what it is.
What has it been like now that the show has premiered, like, what were you caught off guard by anything on social media or reactions or anything like that?
What was that?
Well, I want to publicly apologize to Canada because I do.
I was caught off guard by my joke about the French Canadian accent.
I made the joke.
I do think that accent is not fabulous.
But I don't, it's an accent and I will say it's great.
not really like that was my one different cultures different dialects it's a hard accent though it's really
rough and I mean I mean but also I'm pretty sure that like England probably says that about
or Texas accents right or like like the American accents but I will apologize I feel bad it was a harsh
different countries different cultures I mean if that's the worst thing you're saying I feel like oh we don't
know
episode six maybe I have no idea you're like so far I really don't know
I hope it's the worst thing I said.
Really, I really hope so.
Yeah, but I mean, are you, are you like hesitant to look on like Twitter?
Like, what's your, what's your philosophy?
I Googled myself like fucking crazy.
Like I read everything.
I don't think I will continue to do so.
But the first, yeah, the premiere, I did everything, including Reddit, which is somewhere I will not go back.
Oh, I won't even look on Reddit.
Oh, God.
No, no, no, no.
Damn, it's so harsh.
Margo, don't even tell me.
I don't want to.
Creative, I don't want to.
You're like, no, no, no, they love you, but don't look.
I don't want to see.
Only nice things, but you shouldn't open it.
It's really, it's an anonymous thread, which I didn't realize.
So, I mean, it's, yeah.
I mean, I did the same thing after, like, the premiere.
I was, like, on Twitter.
And then, like, the worst part is, like, I got high.
And they got on Twitter.
Worst.
How did that not show you out?
No, no, no.
No, like, the paranoia.
No, the paranoia.
Oh, I couldn't do it.
And then I also, like, realize that I cannot watch an episode of my
more than once.
Okay.
And then the second time I watched it, I also watched it high.
Worst mistake ever.
I just picked myself apart.
I was like, you know, I'm just going to watch episode once.
Know that, you know, know what everyone else is seeing and then put it away.
I had to watch the first two episodes so many times because so many people want to
rewatch it with me.
Right.
Right.
I'm like, my God.
Because it's like, it's like, unwatchable to see yourself on camera with people watching
you too.
Yeah, because you normally see yourself like in photos or a video that you know what's
when it's taking of you.
But like, whenever you do reality, like,
you don't see like what you notice so many different things about like little mannerisms that you do
like I don't know I talked out of once in my mouth.
The people on Twitter told you I'm sure.
And you know it's crazy because like I looked on Twitter.
I got super affected by it and then like I got over it and like now I don't it doesn't really bother.
No, I don't anymore.
I'm not affected by it by the same way anymore as like the first time of like seeing that like and then it's like okay it comes with it because then you get it.
I just want to get the Canadians back.
So that's my main thing.
I think my main thing.
It's a poochine.
Well, then you realize you get like an equal amount of positive too, you know?
And it's just going to come with the territory.
Everyone's going to be opinionated.
It's going to get good and bad.
Totally.
And I think also knowing sort of the Bravo legacy of these shows that have been on for,
you know, 10 plus years, like the fact that people are, you know, excited to watch it and
talk about it means that you're doing something right.
Right.
Just from that.
No matter what they're saying, it's like, well, I mean,
you want there to be like a conversation going on.
No, it's exciting.
Do you think, do you have like misconceptions that you think people have about your group or like
the sort of experience in Paris or even what the show is?
I mean, there's obviously some tweets and things I've seen that I think are wrong.
But it's also only been, you know, premiere, one premiere, two episodes, which is like an
introduction.
I think I think by the, like six or seven, even fourth I think it's, it.
They'll either be very hooked or it's not for them, but it gets spicier and more fun.
It was just introductions of the first two episodes.
You can't really take into anything to heart because we don't really know you yet.
Right.
And I think like you were saying, watching the episodes being kind of weird, especially those first episode or two.
It's like you're like talking about yourself.
And it's the beginning.
And it's the beginning of filming.
Like Margo has this talent of just like forgetting the cameras were there.
Like it took me a hot second.
I'm kidding.
But like it took me a hot second.
So like I think that, you know, as this season progresses, I think that I'll recognize
myself.
I mean, I still recognize myself.
But it's just like I was in my.
Yeah.
And like later in the season.
Like I don't know.
For sure.
For sure.
Yeah.
Like your confidence builds.
Like, yeah.
And I finally, after lots of trial and error, I finally figure something out.
I will say toward the underbuburn.
episode three, I was like getting a little excited when this whole drama with Joanne started
happening and the styling, the sliding into the DMs about the styling. I'm like, okay,
like there's a little bit of messiness going on. He's one messy person. Very entertaining.
Very messy. Victoria, any, uh, any thoughts about that? I mean,
the thing is, though, I've realized that there are some people that are incredible at one job,
than another.
I'm trying to be...
Sorry.
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry.
I just,
I'm sorry.
No,
I think that,
you know,
I mean,
I don't want to give like...
He's a great stylist.
He's a great stylist.
He's a great stylist,
I will say.
That's what,
and that's what I mean by that.
And I think some people work better
in different types of careers
than like with a team.
And I think, you know,
a lot of my frustration
without giving any,
you know,
too many spoilers.
But like after the third,
or you know,
in the third episode is that,
that like if you're not, I'm all for my friends gaining opportunities.
Like go and make your money boo.
Like, you know, even if he was styling all of my friends, fucking fantastic.
But just make sure that the job that you originally assigned to is also getting the
work done.
You know, don't, you know, especially then, but that's my belief on any type of job,
even if it wasn't with me.
But then when like I kind of put my neck out in the line after everything that like I've worked
for, you know, and got you an opportunity.
And then you don't value.
value that when I've put a lot of work in the last eight and a half years to get myself in this
position to be able to do that. And then, you know, to kind of, less about him, but just about
people in general also, too, if I introduce you to some of my friends, I don't, I'm very protective
over my friends. Like, I'm in Aries. I have that fire. And it comes out. And thank God I got my,
my water sign here to put it out, you know. But like, you don't fuck with my friends, you know.
And if I feel like, you know, someone's trying to take advantage of, you know, or absolutely anything towards my friends or make some in, also later in the season too.
If you're going to make my friend feel a start in a way, I'm going to come at you hotter than I would myself.
Yeah.
Well, I mean, yeah.
Also, it's like we just started, the cameras showed up a couple weeks ago.
And now you're like over at Casey's apartment up in Margot's DMs, like, it's not a.
It's not a mystery.
No.
Like a thousand euros for an outfit.
Like,
dude.
This guy.
That was not cool.
I'd like forgive him since.
But that was not cool.
And also too, like, you have special friendships, you know, and like, you know, all is all is forgiven.
That's what I say in episode there.
I'm like, I know he's your best friend.
One of your best friends.
And there's so many layers.
Yeah.
A best friend, especially someone she's known for that long, you can forgive certain things.
but yeah it doesn't mean that it doesn't it doesn't mean that someone doesn't need to be called out
yeah that's for sure you know what i mean it something has to end up being handled and doesn't mean that
i'm going to like cut someone off immediately i will if ever came to that if someone did but like
you know it needs there's an outstanding conversation to be had totally what are you is there
anything coming up this season that you're really looking forward to or maybe not looking forward to
either of you, just as we embark on this journey.
I'm very excited.
I'm very excited for the cast trip.
There's a fun cast trip.
Okay.
That's really fun.
And I'm looking forward that there's a lot of trial and error with me, but I do stick
to something this season.
So I'm really excited for everyone to see that.
I love that.
I'm excited to see Margo grow in that as well.
Like that's, it's really, really exciting.
I cannot be more of a proud of us for it.
And I'm so bad of you.
I mean, but I mean, I have a vice.
It's a very mutual relationship.
But I'm also really excited, too, because I get to bring a very special family member out from Louisiana, who has never been to your group before.
And I get to show an entire new experience, and I'm really, really excited about that.
And also, I'm looking forward to the South of France.
You can't say where it is.
You can?
Okay.
We go to Cannes.
Well, you get real specific.
I just said the South.
It's my childhood home.
You go elsewhere.
No, but it's really, it's fun.
So we're a little warmer, perhaps.
No, it was a great escape.
And also, too, like, it wasn't my first time there either.
It's a really beautiful place.
I got to spend Christmas with Margo's family.
I was there adopted child for Christmas.
And, like, yeah, it was fun.
Yeah, so then we finally, everyone else finally got to see it.
Yeah.
And it's a really special, it's a really special trip.
Yeah.
Amazing.
Well, thank you guys so much for being here.
Thank you for having.
