Betches Media presents.
Ha ha, laugh, funny.
Mention It All, a Bravo by Betches podcast.
We don't say that, but now we said it.
With me, Dylan Hafer.
We're going to check me, boo.
Hey, everyone.
Welcome back to the Mention at All podcast.
I'm Dylan Hafer, and today we are doing something a little different.
And to help me out, I am joined by two of my favorites.
You know, Sammy Sage and Sam Bush.
Hello, both of you.
Welcome to the podcast.
Thank you for having us, Dylan.
we are, I know I'm speaking on behalf of Sam right now, incredibly excited for what we are going to do today.
I had a lot of fun preparing for it. Yeah, I did too. I spent a lot of time on it. I'm ready to embark on
this journey. Homework. Everybody's like, what have you, what are you talking about? Yeah, what is it
prepared? Yeah. So before we get into it, we are doing a Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip
fantasy draft today on the podcast. We are in girls' trip season right now. We're sweating our
asses off in Thailand. Whitney and Heather are arguing some more. But today we are going to take a
trip to who knows where, could be anywhere. And we are going to pick members of our fantasy casts.
And so before we start, I'm just going to kind of run down the rules and how this is going to work,
both for us to be on the same page and for everyone listening who's like what what is happening
right now. So basically our draft is going to have seven categories and we are going to take turns
making our picks. Once somebody has been picked, they cannot be drafted by somebody else.
And the categories that we are going to be drafting in are OG housewife, single season housewife,
Girls Trip alum, villain, shitsterer, peacemaker, and a wild card choice.
And feel free to, you know, make your case as anybody could be a shitsterer on the right day of the week, I guess.
But so basically we're going to take turns picking, and I have randomized the order.
So, Sammy, you are going to pick first.
I'm going to be second.
And then Sam, you will be picking third and you will get two choices in a row as we go, you know, loop-de-loop back in.
forth like a draft works.
I didn't know a draft works like that.
But now I guess you're reminding me that that is how it works.
Right.
Like if you're picking last, you get like the consolation prize of picking first on the
second round, basically.
Right.
I'm excited.
Should we, after we do it, should we draft locations or we could just pick where we
want our location for our team to be?
Oh yeah.
You could just like throw out an ideal location that you'd like to see.
Because, I mean, where in the world are we going to do girls' trip after Thailand and
Morocco?
Ooh.
It's true.
They could just, hmm.
I mean, they ultimately end up staying.
Right.
It might be funnier if they're somewhere less luxurious because ultimately they just end up
staying in like huge houses and villas.
And I kind of think it would be funny to stick them in like a, you know, sort of just a regular apartment in the middle of New Jersey.
Yeah, I do feel like the idea of doing like girls trip.
It has to be in like a destination.
Like it doesn't feel like it can be like in a.
city. I don't, I think that would be weird.
Right. Unless it could be like real world.
Like in like real world New York, they were in like Soho or so like that could be kind of fun.
Right. I like the idea of just putting them somewhere so average.
Yeah.
Yeah.
They can come to Detroit.
I was going to say Detroit.
Yeah. Come on down. Girls.
And they're not in huge rooms, but they still have to share as if they are.
Sam, if they did, if they ever did girls trip to Detroit, they could do like,
like one of their outings could be at Greenfield Village and they would be like churning butter.
Yes.
How do you know about glass blowing?
My family's from Michigan.
Wait, what?
Yeah, we've talked about this.
No, we haven't.
But, okay, we'll talk about that offline.
Okay, girls trip Detroit.
Girls trip, Greenfield Village.
Girls trip Colonial Williamsburg.
Sammy, would you like to get us started and specify which category you're choosing in just for the record?
Oh, I get, okay.
So the first category we're doing is OG Housewife.
You can choose in any order you want.
I can choose any category.
Oh.
Yeah.
So you can make a first, you can make a first overall pick in any category that you would like.
Okay.
I want to pick my wilds card and I'm choosing Kathy Hilton.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Kathy Hilton.
Do you think, is Kathy Hilton somebody that you're like dying to see on a girl's trip or you just think that she would be like, she would work with anyone?
I think she would work with any cast.
That's why I picked her.
And I also thought that she is, honestly, I just think it was very important that I get her on as the wild card specifically.
Because I think she will add entertainment.
She guarantees entertainment value.
And that was kind of like my number one priority.
Yeah.
Wild card for sure.
Okay.
My first pick in the OG Housewife category, I'm going with Nini Leagues.
Nini, I think, is the quintessential housewives icon and having her back in any capacity would be a joy.
And I think if she was paid what she wanted, then she would really show up to a girl's trip and turn it on its head.
This is going to be an expensive trip with Kathy and Nini.
Look, Peacock is footing the bill no matter what we want.
So they will pay appropriately.
I think that was a good choice, Dylan.
Okay.
So I'm looking at my list.
And I am going to choose an OG housewife.
And I'm going to choose Lisa Vanderpump.
Okay.
Again, it's going to be pricey this trip.
You know, it's interesting.
You picked her because she was one of my potential picks.
Yeah.
It's tough because she's on a few of my categories.
Well, you know what's funny is I like Lisa Van der.
Pamp and I didn't think to put her name down once when I was making my my categories.
Interesting.
I think it might just be that Vanner Pump rules is looming really large in my head.
Probably at the moment, which is why.
Yeah.
You're like, can I, can I bring Kristen Doty?
You know, I was going to message you and ask about that.
I was like, is this just housewives?
I feel like just housewives.
I feel like it starts to get a little, it gets away from us when it's like anybody who's
ever been on any show on.
I know.
I feel Laura Lee, you know.
You never know.
Could do like a second tier version and do like Summer House, Vanderpump, Southern Charm, below decks.
Next time I go on vacation, you guys will get a message for me.
Okay.
So Sam, you get to make another pick right now.
Okay.
Then my next pick, I'm going to do Shitsterer, and I'm going to pick Larsa Pippin.
Oh.
Because I'm obsessed with her.
I find her so ridiculous.
I love that she stands by everything that she says, even though it's the craziest thing you've ever heard.
When she looked at a doctor, an anesthesiologist, and said, you don't have a real job.
You put people to sleep.
And we saw her taking pictures of her feet this year.
I was like, this is a woman I can stand behind, you know?
I don't think I have enough Miami on my list.
She's my shitter, because she's so crazy.
I feel like I'm a little Miami-ed-out, not because I don't like it, but just because the season just ended and that reunion was so loud.
And then Alexia and Marisol are on the current girls trip.
I'm like, I feel good with them for a second.
But then I'm going to look at my list and be like, I wish I had had some fire.
I'm kind of agreeing with you, Dylan.
I'm nervous about what I'm going to end up with in the end.
I'm starting to now realize, oh, I have to pick.
them in the context of each other. That's important too. Right. Okay. So my pick next, I am going to go in
single season housewife. I'm going to choose Dr. Tiffany Moon. Nice. Oh. It's a good one. I forget
Dallas exists a lot. I actually looked at the Wikipedia list of housewives to make sure I wasn't
missing anyone. Yeah. I agree. I forget about Dallas as a concept, but then when I think about it,
I do, I miss it a little, just a little bit. Just a week.
bit. And I, if Tiffany Moon feels like such a larger presence than just a one season wonder, but she really
was. Like, she just was on that one year. She was on the ship as it was sinking. As it was sinking,
yeah. She, she pulled up to the Titanic in, in a little like lifeboat, the, like the night before it sank.
Yeah. She was tugging along. You're right. She does have a much bigger presence than just that one season.
I actually didn't even watch Dallas and I feel like she is sort of a thing.
She was as of like a year ago the most followed housewife on TikTok.
Wow.
Because she's good at TikTok.
She shows off those Birkins.
She's in the closet.
People love it.
Like people follow her on TikTok that have no idea she was a housewife.
And I think that is rare.
And I would like to see her, you know, get back in the mix a little bit.
She clapped back at Larsa on TikTok for her comments about Nicole.
Yeah.
She's a double threat.
Wow.
Okay, Sammy, who are you going for next?
Okay, I'm picking my OG housewife and it is Bethany.
I'm picking Bethany because I think that she will, again, we're very expensive over here.
I think that she will bring, you can never really count on what's going on in her, in her mind to be totally all there and fully stable.
So you can get a very erratic Bethany.
I also, as you can see, I pick Kathy Hilton.
I want to put a lot of ladies with very large egos in one place.
And I want to watch that explode.
Well, and they have a history together, those two.
Really?
Do they?
What's their history?
She was Paris Hilton's like Nanny.
Oh.
Yeah.
Okay.
So I want like a battle of the ego situation.
And, you know, that's what I'm trying to go for here.
So we'll see.
I support that. Sammy, you get another pick right now.
Oh, that's good. Okay. Good. I'm going to, I am going to pick
single season housewife, Carlton. Again, you, as I explained, I'm going for just a lot of
very strong-headed people in one place. Do we do we know much about Carlton these days?
She got a divorce, right? Yes, even better. Her husband, her daughter,
mystery is absolutely gorgeous, mystery with an eye. Beautiful kids. I do, I wonder where in Housewives,
the next Taylor Armstrong is going to be in the sense that when she was on the girls trip,
ex-wives club, I feel like we had not really heard from her much in such a long time. I'm wondering if
Alex McCord is going to give us that energy at all. And it is kind of interesting to think about
girls trip as a way to like reclaim these lost treasures oh yeah i'm all for reclaiming these lost treasures
damn okay i guess your turn i guess that that means it's my turn again now suddenly i'm stressed um
in my villain category i am going to choose kenya more oh thank god villain of my heart
even though i agree with her a lot of the time i think kenya is a no-brainer and i would like to see her
in a girls' trip environment that's a little more
drama filled than
season one was because I think she could really get
in there and make some magic happen.
You stole my alum, number one.
She was so close to being on my list.
It's kind of fun when it's like a little competitive.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Is this what the sports fans do?
I think so.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I mean, March Madness.
It gets intense.
This is perfectly relaxed for me.
Yeah.
No, I'm like, it's like the first.
perfect amount of like stress.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
I agree.
Okay, Sam, make another pick.
All right.
I'm going to go with my alum, my Girlstrip alum, and I'm going with Victoria Gumbelson.
You took my number two.
I need, I need this.
It's okay.
It's okay.
I'm right now angling for someone else that I need on my team.
I've been deep in an Orange County rewatch.
Like I started from like season three and now I'm like basically caught up.
And I'm in love with her.
I love her.
I know she's rotten to her core.
And I know that she's like not a good person and, you know, was in on a cancer scam allegedly.
But she brings what needs to be brought.
I'm, I'm interested to see what her vibe is like on the Morocco girls trip because the one in the Berkshire is, she was really a little bit down for the count in a way that was not quite her fault.
She was brokenhearted.
She was brokenhearted.
She had like, she maybe still had COVID, question mark, question mark.
So I'm excited to see her in current day, but in an environment that hopefully she can thrive a little more.
Yes.
The beauty of Vicki Gumbelson, though, is that she doesn't really ever grow or change.
You know, she's like a one woman, Vanderpump Rules cast.
Like, she just never.
She's the exact person we met at season one.
You're always going to get the same person.
She doesn't evolve.
All she wants is a man to fill up that love tank.
Exactly.
Exactly.
Oh, my God.
She's got to, and she is like more than a lot of people on Bravo that you could say this about, she has a bad picker.
Like she just, the guys that she ends up with, it's like, Vicky, please.
Like, it's tough and she just wants it so bad.
We should do a category of bad picker.
Yeah, next time.
Next time.
Worst-tasted men.
Yeah.
Oh, my God.
Yeah.
Yeah, it could get really fun.
Okay, Sam, you get one more pick right now.
I'm going to go with Wildcard, and I chose Heather DeBrow.
Heather Brough to me is a wild card because sometimes she really gets in there and causes a lot of chaos and drama and really rubs people the wrong way.
But then on the other side, she also can be a peacemaker.
Like, she's really brought people a lot of, you know, women together on Orange County.
and I enjoy seeing her and her children.
Did her children come to the trip?
No, but we would hear about them and that's always fun.
Okay, fair enough, fair enough.
I talked to Heather Dubrow, like, when her season that she came back was like about to premiere
and I asked her if she would do a girl's trip and who she would be with and she was like,
I don't want to do a girl's trip.
And I was like, okay, but just like name some people just for fun.
And she was like, it was so difficult.
for her to even like pretend to be into the like made up exercise of putting herself in a
girl's trip cast and I'm like but honestly I think that's why you might be good at it.
Yeah.
I think she'd be great.
Heather Dubrow's a little bit of a robot sometimes.
You know, I've been in my rewatch, Sammy, my Orange County rewatch and I really, I love her.
Don't take the bow off her cake.
I did too love her at like one particular point.
But like, you know, yeah.
It's weird looking back on her.
her last season before her comeback now because like it was looked at she was looked at so poorly
for how she treated Kelly Dodd who like ended up being like the worst human being on the planet
and that kind of is interesting I see that yeah yeah so good so good everything you want for summer
is at Nordstrom rack stores now and up to 60% off stock up and save on the brands you love like
Vince, Sam Edelman, Frame and Free People.
Join the Nordy Club to unlock exclusive discounts, shop new arrivals first, and more.
Plus, buy online and pick up at your favorite rack store for free.
Great brands, great prices.
That's why you rack.
Girl, winter is so last season.
And now Springs got you looking at pictures of tank tops with hungry eyes.
Your algorithm is feeding you cutoffs.
You're thirsty for the sun on your shoulders.
that perfect hang on the patio sundress.
Those sandals you can wear all day and all night.
And you've had enough of shopping from your couch.
Done hoping it looks anything like the picture when you tear up on that envelope.
It's time for a little in-person spring treat.
It's time for a trip to Ross.
Work your magic.
Okay, I'm going to go next.
And in my shit-stirder category, I am going to choose Ashley Bolch Darby.
Nice, nice.
I'm glad you got her.
Oh, my gosh, this is so exciting.
to get to pick two in a row.
Okay.
Villain.
Candice is my villain.
I think Candice has the best, like, in my opinion, I think she's the sharpest person on Bravo in general.
Like, I think the way she, her quotes are my favorite.
She's just, I am an unapologetic Candice lover.
She's unafraid to let anything fly out of her mouth.
And I'm excited for that, considering she will be with Kathy, Bethany, and Carlton, which is just, like, imagine this.
So I'm, yeah.
I'm a little impressed with Candice.
I feel like she, those first couple seasons that she was on Potomac, she was like a little bit, a little bit of loose ends, like a little bit of a mess.
And after the whole Monique thing, I thought she really could have kind of like dropped off after that season.
And she really has kind of solidified herself.
as a really solid, like, great presence on Housewives.
She's, I think she's really fun in this season of girls' trip.
Like, good for Candace.
Candice is a star.
Yeah.
A born star.
As Pepsi says, superstar Candice.
Totally.
She's like, I'm performing in Thailand.
I'm like, yeah, at dinner for your friends.
For 17 people.
And they were all like, it's so impressive that she performed in Thailand.
Like, you're just at dinner.
Like, whatever.
As Rupal says, if you don't love yourself, how in the hell are you going to love somebody else?
It's true.
It's true.
Oh, my gosh.
Okay.
Sammy, who's your next pick?
Okay.
I'm picking an alum and I'm picking Luan because we need somebody, we need Luan and Candice to kind of be competitive on the performer front.
You know, that's going to get things going.
and then you start to, you see where we're going with this.
Like, you have a natural competition just innately there.
And yeah, I just, I love, I really enjoy Luann these days in particular.
I look back on Luann's time on Housewives very fondly.
She's evolved.
She's had seasons of peaks and valleys.
And I think that that is important, unlike Vicki Gumblefellon, who's kind of like.
Yeah, I was looking back at everyone who's been on girls.
trip for this category specifically.
And Luann, it's, because that was like right around the time or right after the last
season of Roney had been airing, like, that was, that was Luann and Ramona's last moment
on TV thus far.
And it is kind of weird.
It's like, that can't be the last time we see, like, those two women on our screens
anywhere.
And Luann did the, like, Simple Life-esque kind of show that will be airing allegedly.
at some point, but it is weird that just like they went to Turks and Kekos and we never saw them again on TV.
It's actually really sad.
Yeah.
Like I just feel like the New York women deserved a little bit better than the send-off that they got.
Because they were like the most beloved housewives ensemble cast at the time.
And like they gave us so much.
And then to just like have them just fade off our screens and into the black just isn't it.
doesn't so right with me in my spirit.
But do you feel that that was really like Bravo's fault or sort of something that happened
within the cast dynamics?
Because I don't think that that had to happen as much as the way that each person went
in sort of their own direction.
They couldn't all like keep it together for that ending is what is kind of the real problem.
It's like, you know how, what's that show that they can ever get a reunion to happen?
Which one?
Was it for, it was friends for like years, right?
What?
Oh, friends.
Was it friends for many years?
Well, until they got paid like $12 million each from HBO Max.
Yeah, and they all like tease it and they all like, but like you couldn't pull it
together.
Right.
It's not about the money with Bravo.
It's just about the sort of where everyone is in their lives.
But maybe they'll come back.
Maybe.
Legacy.
Who knows?
Maybe they'll do an ultimate girls trip, Roney.
I would love that.
Honestly, that might be easier to get off the ground than this kind of like vague idea of legacy where everybody thinks it's going to be their big like relaunch.
And it's like, no, just send them somewhere for a week and make it a one off.
And if it does really well, you could do it a second time.
But I don't know.
The legacy thing, I think these women think that they're going to like get their old groove back.
And it's like, I don't know.
It's too much.
They would do better with just like a mini season, like a trip.
Your mouth to Andy Cohen and God's ears and maybe we'll get something off the ground by the end of this year.
Well, this podcast is available.
Okay, for my next pick in Girls Trip alum, I am going to choose Tamara Judge.
Fuck.
I honestly am shocked that I'm picking her fifth and she was still available.
I had her down in a couple categories.
I mean, Tamara's a no-brainer.
She's a housewives legend.
She's a pro.
She sort of invented the whole game.
And I would, she would be a pleasure to have in class on this girl's trip.
Which category is she for you?
Alam.
Oh, I'm so upset because she, I was deciding between trying to grab her or Luan and I don't know.
No, but we just talked to, Loua is great.
Yeah, Loua's great.
I don't have buyers remorse.
We waxed poetic about Luan being a good choice.
No, glad we did.
We have Lou Anne.
I'm not upset.
Okay, Sam.
So my villain, I've been going in between two.
people. Very different energies.
Okay. So my number one choice for my villain is Karen Hugar.
Okay.
Who was your, now I'm just, and maybe this is poor strategy.
Okay. Yeah, I'm not going to choose Lisa. So I don't really give a shit.
I wrote her down in very small print. And I was like, this is potentially a villain. But for me,
Karen Hugar is a very good villain. Interesting. Yeah. That's.
It's interesting because I feel like the line between villain and shitster can be like a little bit murky.
And I don't necessarily think of Karen as somebody who is really like villainous.
Villaness.
But in a sense of like some of the individual storylines, I think villain is not like the wrong word to describe her.
Yeah.
I really had to think about it.
And I had to, you know, I was thinking about all the things that she's done and said.
And I'm like, it's because she's so funny that it comes off maybe not as horrid.
but it actually is, you know?
Yeah, I actually think Karen Huger has a little bit of cartoon villain energy.
But it's like she has so many other people on the show who can be the villain at any given time that she doesn't really get pegged as the villain.
Yeah.
Yeah, I would say the cartoon villain energy reminds me of Jen Shaw before we knew that Jen Shaw was like the actual biggest villain that's ever been on Housewives.
Literally. Totally.
And I just also would love to see her and Heather Debrough interact.
I feel like it would just be a really wild ride.
Okay, now I understand why Heather Debrough.
My girl's trip is chaos.
That's good.
Well, that's your team, team chaos.
I got Vanderpump, Heather Debrough, and Karen Huger and Larsa Pippen.
Oh, my good, I already forgot about Larson.
And Vicki.
Okay, Sam, you still have picks remaining in single season housewife and peacemaker.
Who are you going for next?
I think it's funny, by the way, that none of us have chosen a peacemaker yet.
We're all like, eh, I'll get around to it.
Just the least important category.
It really is.
The single season housewife for me, I picked Shamari DeVoe from Rehauses of Atlanta.
Okay.
She is one of the best one season wonders we have ever had.
And I'm so upset that she didn't get a second season.
She was so kind of good at stirring the pop, but also being the Greek chorus of the show.
She was really, really good.
at what she did.
I'm sad.
We never got more of her.
I think Shamari sort of got the short end of the stick from being on the season where Kenya left.
Because then at the end of that season, it was like, well, Kenya's coming back.
We can all like resume business as usual.
Yeah.
And, you know, Eva had been on the show for a couple seasons by then.
So it was like, okay, we don't need this other one.
Yeah.
RIP.
A better singer than Candy.
Totally.
But speaking of in my piecemaker category, I am choosing Candy Burris.
I have no reaction.
I know.
I think she's a peacemaker.
I mean, I think like, not always, but she can be.
I don't think of her as a peacemaker, but I'll let you pick her.
Maybe peacemaker is less of an accurate word than like neutral force.
Yeah, fair.
I mean, to be a true peacemaker on a housewife show is.
You know, it's rare.
It's a rare.
Okay.
Yeah, but Candy, I think, I feel like Candy deserves a girl's trip.
I can get behind that.
Does she?
Why not?
Why not?
Okay, hear me out.
Hear me out.
Okay.
I love Candy.
I think Candy's a great housewife.
I also think Candy has been given so many chances at spin-offs and different types of shows and they fail
every single time.
like does she deserve
does she deserve
to go on Girlstrap?
With all her failed shows?
She's just here. She's just
she's the peacemaker.
Like we said it's like
Yeah I think in a way it's like
all of the other spinoffs are sort of
like extra and Girlstrip
feels like the actual thing that she
makes sense for
but I don't know. I mean I haven't
been watching the Excape thing
like to me that's just kind of like
it doesn't feel like
like a Bravo show so much. So I'm kind of like, I don't need to go there. But I mean, I respect.
I respect the hustle. She's in an ensemble cast here. Yeah. I think it can work. Yeah. Totally. Totally.
Sammy, you're, uh, you have two picks left and. And then we have our team. Okay. Yeah.
I'll do peacemaker last just because that's what we're doing. For Schittster, I am going for
Margaret Joseph's because she is, that's kind of like what she lives for. And I think,
think she doesn't get, I guess in this season she's getting a lot of, she's really getting that
edit.
But yeah, I think that we want her somewhere.
She'll fully embrace that role.
And then for peacemaker, I have Eva Marcile because I loved having her on the last
season.
I thought she was very just enjoyable to watch.
And I think she's one of the rare true peacemakers on the Housewives.
I think she's also a rare housewife that is probably better suited to the concept, the format of girls' trip than to actual mainstream housewives.
Totally agree with that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Because she's like good in this type of ensemble cast.
She's a little too like of a real person to be good for housewives, which is a compliment in the real world.
Yeah.
Not in the housewives.
Like she's too like rooted in reality to like be a good housewife.
you have to be a little bit delusional.
Exactly.
Like that incredibly delusional energy that like Vicky and I think Sam, a lot of your team
carries this like incredibly delusional energy.
You know, that's a good, that's a key quality in a housewife.
It actually made me, it gave me pause at the beginning of Girls Trip season two when Eva meets Vicky
and he's like, oh my God, Vicky, I'm such a fan.
I was kind of like, why does Eva know who Vicky is?
Like she shouldn't care about Vicky.
Like, come on.
But I mean, same.
Like, I would have the same.
I mean, actually, I guess I've met Vicky and I wasn't like fan girling.
But I think like she can get away with that because she's meeting them and, you know, she's going to be her castmate.
Yeah.
Being a fan can mean a lot of things, you know.
Doesn't mean like I look to you as a role model, which I think is really what we're looking at as like the benefit of Eva and like kind of why she's not.
grade as a housewife because she, like you said, she's too rooted in reality.
Totally.
Okay, well, we will go over our final teams a minute, but congratulations on finishing this
exercise.
This is fun.
No, I'm loving it.
For my final pick in my wild card category, I'm going to go with Ms. Jesus Jugs herself,
Alexis Bolino.
I was thinking she would be great for this.
She would be great for girls' track.
I think she is one of the funniest, maybe unintentionally funniest people who's ever been on housewives.
I've in the past called her my idiot queen.
And I would love to just dig into what her life is like a little bit more now.
You know, she's engaged, I think, to this guy, Drew.
They were on below deck once together a few years ago.
I would love to see just kind of what she's up to.
I don't know if she's ever, like there was rumors of her being like in the mix for OC again this season.
Maybe she filmed a little.
I don't think she's like in the cast at all.
But yeah, I think Alexis would be a fun person to kind of just catch up with.
Yeah, like her life post Jimbellino.
Yes.
And also I would be curious to see Tamara and Alexis together on this trip.
I really hope they bring her back.
She could be the dark horse Taylor Armstrong type.
Yeah.
And like thinking about how.
on the Morocco one that they filmed,
like Vicky and Gretchen spending a week together.
I feel like Alexis and Tamara is sort of a similar energy
where it's like we've seen Tamara recently.
She's going to be back on the show.
But like, what are her in Alexis's vibes right now?
Because so much time has passed
and their lives are so different now,
I'd be really curious.
Yeah, I think just by virtue of Alexis not being with Jim,
a lot of the weirdness that surrounded her,
just like fell to the curb the second that he was gone
because he was basically controlling her life.
He truly was.
I have a feeling that they, that they're probably fine
and they're not being Teresa who can hold a grudge for like 13 years easily.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, mature people, whatever.
Ish.
Yeah, I guess Tamara's not like the most mature person in the world.
But I think she's grown a little.
Just not too much.
number one favorite housewife of all time.
She's all decided.
Yeah. She like if you ever decide to revisit Orange County, like you'll really appreciate the magic
that is Tamara Judge Barney.
She's not like my personal favorite in terms of like the person I like the most.
But I think in terms of like the craft of housewifery, I think it is it is hard to find
somebody who has really pulled off more than she has.
That's exactly how I feel about her.
She's a she's sort of like the mold for a good housewife
Totally.
Yeah.
Okay.
Sam, who's your peacemaker?
So I have two names written down again.
I couldn't decide.
So.
Every time you say that, by the way, I think of Tyra Banks being like, there are two girls, two beautiful, two beautiful ladies standing before me.
But I only have one photo.
It's true.
So I'm going to go with.
Oh, this is so hard.
Okay, I'm going to go with my gut.
I'm going to go with Carol Redswell.
Who to me has peacemaker energy, she just didn't the last season that she was on Housewives.
I considered her for peacemaker.
I agree.
That vibes for me.
I think overall, I had her and Heather Thompson both on my peacemaker list.
Oh, Heather Halla Thompson?
Heather Halla Thompson.
I had her and Dolores.
I had her and Dolores.
Okay.
I had Eileen Davidson.
I had Stephanie Hallman as well.
I like Stephanie a lot.
I like Stephanie.
By the way, if you're, if you want like Housewives content on TikTok, Stephanie talks about Housewives quite a bit, kind of spill in the tea a little bit, which I think is very interesting.
Nothing like, nothing like, you know, too like titillating.
It's more like production wise.
Like what happens.
Yeah, she talks about shooting the confessionals.
She talks about how she rented clothes and jewelry and stuff while she was on the show, which I think is a very interesting topic that most of these.
women aren't very open about for whatever reason,
aka wanting to seem richer than they are.
All new drinks are now at McDonald's
with refreshers like the strawberry watermelon refresher
and the mango pineapple refresher with popping boba
to crafted sodas like the Spriteberry blast
with berry flavors and cold foam.
Who knew ice cold drinks could be so fire?
Try them all now.
at McDonald's.
Refreshers contain caffeine.

Let's just run down who we ended up with.
On my cast, we are going to have Nini Leaks, Tiffany Moon, Tamara Judge, Kenya Moore, Ashley Darby, Candy Burris, and Alexis Bolino.
There are three Atlanta Housewives in that mix. I didn't quite realize that when I picked
candy. But you know what? I'm not mad about it. I think this is a good group. I think Alexis
Bolino would be fascinating to see her interact with Nini.
the Tamara Kenya Ashley trifecta I think it would implode I'm a little scared but I'm excited
but yeah that's my that's my crew it's a great team where are you going Dylan oh god where are we going
you know I think I think somewhere in Europe I feel like maybe like a girls trip like south of
France could be fun wanted to say that so I'm glad you did or like girls trip
Capri.
Yeah.
I think if you were going to do Capri, you would have to have Dorit on the cast.
So you're not like appropriating her culture.
Yeah, for sure.
Maybe you could just fly her in for one night.
She could be the time of pierge.
She's like the Mickey Mouse of Girls Trip, Capri.
Oh my gosh.
She could be like the bartender in their villa or something.
She's the Wells Adams of.
Yeah.
She's to squeeze the lemons.
She's the Pepsi.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Okay, Sammy, give us the rundown of your cast.
Okay, my cast is Bethany, Carlton, Luann, Candice, Margaret Josephs, Eva, and Kathy Hilton.
And we are going to an extended stay Best Western in Omaha, Nebraska for our ultimate girls trip.
Oh, my God.
And some of them are going to have to share rooms.
They're going to figure that out.
out when you go there.
You're like, the glamour will not be glamoring.
No, they can do the glam.
They can do it.
No, they can do whatever they want.
It's just that's where they're staying.
Like, they want to bring their makeup people.
Like, they just have to figure out where they're going to sleep.
Like, I'm cool with that, you know.
But it would be fun to do a girls trip that was a little, like, Western vibes.
Like, I think that would be.
Like, Yellowstone.
Like, when Roni went to Montana in, like, season six.
Yeah.
That kind of vibe for girls trip would be fun.
Like a glamping.
Yeah, well, I have them in Omaha because, okay, Omaha's legit.
You know, like, Omaha's not, not like the true middle of nowhere.
I wanted them to be in, like, a second or third tier city-ish that feel, you know, there's places you can go.
There's animals to be seen.
Animals.
You know, they'll, I want to see how these ladies do.
Well, Bethany would go to the drugstore, do a drugstore hall.
Yeah.
She'd be like, we're going to Dollar General with a burkin.
Listen, listen, they all had really high salary demands.
And for that reason, the budget for lodging was cut.
Okay, you're right, you're right.
So this is where they're going.
You get what you get and you don't get upset.
It's going to be so fun.
Sam, give us your rundown and then choose a location.
Okay.
So I have Lisa Vanderpump, Shamari, Vicki Gumbleson,
Karen Huger, Larsa Pippin, Carol Radzawil, and Heather Debrough.
That is like an erratic cast.
It's called Delusional Island.
It's a good cast.
It's a good cast.
Karen and Larsa is a weird little, I don't know how that would go.
Bad.
I would be excited.
You're like, I know and it's not good.
Horrible.
Because you have two women who are so, they believe their own delusions.
And that's just something I appreciate about both of them.
Yeah. So I want to say, off the top of my head, I want to go to Surrey County. But really where I would want to go is I would want to go somewhere that takes these women completely out of their element. I would want to go somewhere to like really exotic, kind of like Greenland or something. Oh, like a little bit of like below deck adventure kind of. Yeah. Like I want these women like out in elements. I like that idea too. The delusion combined with the nature like.
the elemental aspect of it, I think is going to be a good mix.
Because you get people who think they can do things they can't do.
They aren't tolerating.
They're out of their comfort zones.
Yeah.
They're not tolerating the environment.
Yeah. Larsa's not going to tolerate Greenland, you know?
Yeah.
She'd be like, only one is to be in a place where there's a nobu.
Like, I don't think that's so much to ask.
They're all going to try to get, like, get the shot in the nature.
Like, they're going to be only excited to go to the nature because of the photos.
Yeah.
The thing with Larsa is like I absolutely think she would bring Marcus and he would constantly be just like just out of frame.
Like she would be like, come here, baby.
And then she would just like disappear for a second.
And then, yeah, I don't know.
You know what's interesting?
Yeah.
None of us picked a Salt Lake City Girl.
Well.
Is that kind of interesting?
I had Lisa Barlow on my list because I was just, you know.
What category?
story? Well, I wrote her down in OG because technically she's an OG, but like she could be like shitster. I don't know. Wild card.
I briefly considered Jen Shaw's the villain, but then I realized she's unavailable for six years.
Until 2028, yeah. Yeah, exactly. I kind of think Lisa Bart, I don't know. There's something about that cast that is very, they work, they don't really work together.
but they also don't really work with anyone else.
Yeah.
Like Whitney and Heather to me are only interesting in girls' trip now because they're together
and because they have conflict.
I wouldn't want to watch them getting along there.
It does feel like Salt Lake to a certain extent exists like on a little bit of a different wavelength
than some of the other cities.
And I don't.
I also think Jersey kind of has that feel too.
And that's why when you look at like this season of girls trip and like last season of
girls trip. There's no jersey on either of those seasons. And like Caroline is on the,
the next one. But like, I don't think somebody like a, uh, Dolores like slots in super easily
with the rest of the women or like even Teresa's kind of like a tough, you know. Is that because
of their filming schedule that none of them were on this one? Because I was, I was feeling like the,
this is becoming about filming schedules partially. But to your point about Jersey, I think the reason,
I think maybe the reason in both cases is that I think Salt Lake City and Jersey particular are two places that are very distinct cultures.
Like Jersey is this, you know, there's like fan, like the whole show is basically family to of each other.
Like there's this very particular flavor of like their way they are.
And I think the same goes for Salt Lake City maybe because of like the Mormon piece of it.
So yeah, I think that maybe that's.
why they're not like they don't flow as well with the other cities.
Do you think that Salt Lake City was a star that burned too bright too fast?
Yes, yes, because they didn't have enough set up before things started getting really weird.
And it's kind of wild that on the show we watch the feds arrest a housewife.
She was on the run.
Like a top show.
Right.
I think with I think the answer is yes and then now that they're filming their fourth season I'm I feel like this season they need to try and like level out and build some like new momentum again and I think that's kind of what I'm waiting to see and I don't necessarily have extremely high hopes but I'm still I still want to be optimistic about it but I do think in the sense of like by the time we got to the tail end of season.
three, it was like, Jesus Christ, like, what are we doing here?
I feel like they were handed gold and because they weren't like seasoned enough housewives,
like they didn't know what to do with it.
Like, I feel like if that stuff were to happen on like New York or Orange County or Beverly Hills or Atlanta,
like if one of the women were being charged with a federal crime, it would have been one of the
best house five seasons in history.
But these women, like, I just think we're too friends.
Like they didn't know how to like handle all of that.
And they ended up flopping in my opinion.
How did they have Mary Cosby and flop?
It's like I don't, they had the Lisa Barlow hot mic moment and it flopped.
How is it that Beverly Hills, which prevents anything from becoming a storyline, can get a whole season.
It's like you're kind of engaged.
And Salt Lake just doesn't feel as complete.
it's almost like the parts are greater than the hole on Salt Lake City
and they don't really fit together because the women don't have real ties
even though they do like Heather and Whitney have real ties
and Meredith and Lisa have real ties but for some reason
like it all just doesn't work I don't know yeah I think
with that in Dubai I think it's it's just a little bit different
that they're like Housewives franchises that have been created
in the wake of so much that happened before them
and it's just a little bit of a different world.
They almost know a little too much about the game they're playing.
Yeah, I think there is a sense of like everyone's a little too out for themselves
to make a good ensemble show.
Yeah.
Like with Dubai, I felt like it was just a housewife show that was made in a lab.
Like it had the recipe for a perfect housewife season,
but I was like, I'm just, I can't sink my teeth into that.
Like these don't feel like real people to me.
I did have on my list somewhere.
I had Lisa Milan.
She was the one person that I was like, maybe.
But then I didn't need her.
So I didn't choose her.
Yeah.
I've heard people say have that criticism about Salt Lake City that it feels like it was made in a lab.
Or that it's like to camp.
Camping.
Yeah.
It's like it's just a very weird.
What I kind of wish from Salt Lake is that they would really lean in more to like the Mormon angle of it all.
Like I want to know more about that.
When Whitney's talking about how she can't get to.
taken off the list. She has to call this person and this. I'm like, wait, what are you even talking
about? I want to know more about that. That to me is like very interesting. Yeah. Well, you know,
they're filming another season right now. So maybe we will get. Yeah. Something watchable.
Hopefully. Well, thank you guys so much for both being here and doing this with me. This was like a
random little concept and I think it was pretty fun. So I had a great time. Thank you for having us.
This was a pleasure. We'll come back for round two with weird categories.
Yes, we will switch it up and we will have some non-housewives in the mix next time.
But thank you so much for being here. And thank you everyone for listening.
