Mention It All - The Traitors Cast, Jersey News, & The Valley Finale
Episode Date: June 5, 2024Dylan is back for an action-packed Wednesday with lots of news to discuss. First, he reacts to the official cast reveal for season three of The Traitors, with some early predictions and more than a li...ttle side-eye at some of the choices. Next, he discusses the shocker that this season of RHONJ won’t be getting a reunion. Is this an overreaction or a necessary call? Later, he recaps the season finale of The Valley, where Jax and Brittany’s marriage falls apart once and for all, and Zack is at risk of triggering Janet’s labor (maybe). Mention It All
A Bravo by Betches podcast
We don't say that
But now we said it
With me, Dylan Hafer
We're going to check me both
Hey everyone
Welcome back to the mention at all podcast
I'm Dylan Hafer
And we're here on a
It's a loose Wednesday morning
We're having fun in the studio
We're just talking about
What's happening with the TikTok band
The only thing that could come
From the TikTok band
That I would be in support of
Is Bethany Frankl
not being able to talk about Chanel anymore.
I don't know.
I really have divested my attention from the Bethany Frankel TikTok of it all.
But this saga that she is going on with Chanel over the last couple weeks,
it's really, it's like hard to watch.
It's getting sad.
She, okay, if you're not paying attention, I'm so sorry to loop you into this.
But she went to, in Chicago a couple weeks ago,
she tried to go to the Chanel store and they turned her.
away because she didn't have an appointment. And then she went back the next day, like, dressed
cuter and they let her in. And so now she has a vendetta against Chanel. And she's made like literally
30 videos that are in a highlight on her TikTok. And she says she got banned from Chanel. And then
she's like giving them marketing advice. She's like, she's like, here's what Chanel needs to do.
They need to call me up. We need to, we're going to have a, a giveaway or we're going to invite a bunch
of Chanel fans that normally couldn't afford it. And we're going to go, it's like, Bethany,
my love. Chanel is like a multi-billion dollar a year company. They're not, they're not taking marketing
ideas from your TikTok. It's just not happening. Anyway, I can't. Go watch if you need to before TikTok
gets banned and before Bethany finds something else to talk about. But we do have some big news to
get to today. Aside from the Valley finale, which is, I don't like a, I don't love a rhyme. But we'll
get to that, but first, we have, as of this morning, official confirmation of the season three
cast for the traders. And oh, boy, is it a mixed bag? Is it ever? So we have 21 names. I'm just
going to go down the list and I'm going to read the names and the in parentheses where they are
known from. I was going to say what show they were on, but that's not relevant for all of them.
So we have Bob Harper of the biggest loser fame, Bob the drag queen, Rupal's Drag Race,
Brittany Haynes, Big Brother, Caroline Uighur, Survivor,
Chanel Ayyenne, the Real Housewives of Dubai, by the way,
go listen to our episode from Monday, Ayon was on the podcast.
Chris Elstouse from Sautauce from Sautil Sauter, Miller, from Summerhouse,
Danielle O'Reyes from Big Brother, Dolores Katania from Real House House of New Jersey,
Derrinda Medley, Real House of New York, Dylan Ephron from Down to Earth with Zach Ephron.
Yes, that's his brother.
Gabby Wendy from The Bachelorette, Jeremy Collins, from Survivor,
Lord Yvar Mountbatten, who's just a British,
Royal. Nikki Garcia, professional wrestler, former known as Nikki Bella, Rob Mariano from Survivor and
Deal or No Deal Island. Robin Dixon from Potomac, Sam Asgari, actor, model, and more importantly,
Britney Spears's ex, Tom Sandival, Tony Volacchos from Survivor, and Wells Adams from The Bachelor
and Paradise, of course, also married to Sarah Highland. Look, I... I...
This cast list, you hear me.
I'm really, I'm searching for the words.
It's not that it's bad.
It's not that it's bad.
It's not that it's bad.
It's not bad.
Of course it's not bad.
No, they did so good.
They did so good.
It's going to be fine.
It's just, it feels compared to, season two just was so,
and there were so many.
I think, I think what I'm,
I'm having a little,
trouble here. I think that the housewives, and the Bravo Lebs feel like a little bit of a downgrade,
a step down, a step back, perhaps. Last year, knowing that we had Fadre and knowing that we had
Tamara and Shiree and even MJ was such a fun surprise and Kate came back and Parvety and Sandra.
There just was a lot of, I think, really exciting energy going into last season.
And I think that there are maybe just more question marks on this year's cast.
And maybe I am having like some, maybe I'm kind of giving myself amnesia on purpose of what happened last year.
Maybe when the cast was announced last year, I was just as uncertain.
Because last season was like a wonderful, I don't want to say surprise because season one was good too.
but I just think that there are some people in this cast that I'm a little bit like,
what are we doing here?
Like, okay, just starting at the top.
Bob Harper, first of all, the man has had, I think, more than one heart attack.
And the challenges on the traders are pretty intense.
I mean, I'm not implying that he's like, he's in great shape.
Obviously, he's spent his entire career yelling at people to lose weight on TV.
I'm sure that he will be an inspiring team leader in many of these challenges on the traders.
I'm sure he will tell everyone to move their fat asses and to go get that gold to put in the prize pot.
So, you know, cheers to Bob Harper.
I just am like, I don't know if that's what we need.
Bob the drag queen, I'm very excited for it.
And if they fucking do Bob the Drag Queen dirty like they did peppermint dirty last season, there's going to be hell to pay.
I hope that Bob and Peppermint are friends.
And I hope that Bob comes in out for blood.
I know that it's not the same cast.
I know that, I mean, God willing, Trishel will not be like popping out from behind a bush in Scotland and be like, surprise, I'm back.
So it's not like there's a one to one of like getting revenge for peppermint, but I still hope that Bob gets revenge for peppermint.
Also, Bob is so fucking funny.
I can't wait.
The Survivor and Big Brother, I don't have a lot of opinions about.
I know like Tony, I watched Survivor back in the day.
Carolyn, I know that people thought she was like iconic, I guess.
I don't know much about Danielle.
I don't know much about Britney Haynes.
It is what it is.
Really, though, I want to talk about some of these men.
Dylan Ephron.
Now, I have not watched it down to earth with Zach Efron.
And don't lie.
Neither have you.
Maybe Dylan Efron is a lot of fun.
Maybe he is, I've heard maybe he's eye candy, nice to look at.
I don't have a photo in front of me.
I just think, like, the thing with casting for the traders is it feels like they have
solid budget for like half the cast.
They're like, we're going to get Derinda back, though.
I don't know.
Her rate might not be that high at this point.
We're going to get, you know, Bob the Drag Queen.
Bob the Drag Queen just went on tour with Madonna.
Bob is not struggling for a check.
We're going to get Crischel, you know, the people's princess of selling sunset.
I haven't kept up with selling sunset the last couple seasons.
But, God, remember when she had like the world's most flattering edit?
When it was like, I got dumped in.
No, I'm going to sell my first house.
Damn it.
Nikki Garcia, I feel like she doesn't get out of bed for less than $10,000 a day.
You know, the Bella twins, iconic.
Is she the one that's with John Sina?
Or was with John Sina?
I have no idea.
Nikki and Bree, they're the same to me.
I'm so sorry if that's your cup of tea.
I actually really like Gabby Wendy, the former bachelorette, who now I believe is a queer girlie.
She's dating a woman.
I love that.
I love that energy.
I don't know how I feel about Lord Ivar Mountain Baton, who they are.
are labeling a British royal, but based on my Wikipedia reading, he is not technically a member
of the British royal family. He is distantly related to people in the British royal family. So
if you are using like the loosest definition, you could say that he is like somewhere a part of the
family. But if you're like, if you're going by the like capital B, capital RF like British
royal family, he's not like on the website. He's not out here kissing babies and shaking hands
and doing like engagements. Like if, if Kate Middleton disappears for a year, he's not going to be
like stepping into her shoes, you know? And this is one of those things where I, I don't know if you
all remember because nobody, I assume most of you aren't watching UK Celebrity Big Brother,
but they just recently had on like one of Kate Middleton's like distant relatives while she was
like, you know, MIA earlier this year, assuming that she's not still MIA, which, you know,
the jury's out.
But everybody was like, oh, my God, this guy's going to go on Big Brother and he's going to
like spill the tea about where Kate is.
And then he was just like, I don't really want to talk about it.
And it's like, yeah, because you don't fucking know anything.
And that's the thing with Lord Ivar, Mountbatten.
If anything, I'm sure that he knows even less about the inner workings of the royal
family.
This is not the guy that Megan Markle is calling up to like bitch about Kate and Will.
This is not the guy that like knows all the dirty details about Camilla and Diana back in the day.
Like this guy is going to come in here.
And at best, maybe he's going to give us like what's his name from last season, the speaker of the house of whatever.
I'm hoping that that's kind of he also is gay.
I think that's the question mark.
It's like, okay.
So you're like, you're going to come in here and be like, so maybe.
member of the British Royal Family and I also am like the first gay one and that's the thing. It's like he
technically was like the first he's like the first person that's related to the royal family that is gay,
but he's not actually in the royal family. It's like okay, like yeah, I'm sure Joe Biden has like a
gay second grand nephew, but that doesn't mean that there's like a gay guy in the White House.
We should be so lucky. It's Pride Month. Why aren't there gay guys in the White House? I'm sure there
are gay guys in the White House. They're just like assistants and decorators.
I can say it. It's okay. But this cast, you know, it's interesting. Like Robin Dixon just got fired
from Potomac, but she's still getting a check somewhere. Derinda's here. Delores, I feel like,
could sneakily do really well on the traders because she's good at playing in Switzerland.
She's good at, she's good at staying on everybody's good side. I feel like that could serve her well.
Tom Sandival and Sam Asgari, like, what a cursed duo. Just, just the dregs.
You know that they were like a two-for-one deal in L.A. one day. They were like, God, we need
We need two more straight men on this show.
Who can we pick?
We have $50.
We have two nickels to rub together.
Who wants them?
And it was Sam Azgari and Tom Sandoval.
I'm so happy for them.
But anyway, you know, traitors, it's probably not coming back until, I don't know, early next year, late this year.
So we've got some time to let this cast simmer.
But I'm excited.
I'm hoping it's good.
She'll be fun.
So good.

We also have to talk about because, of course, I had Madame Ayon on Monday's episode,
I didn't get a chance to talk about the Real Housewives of New Jersey news that broke over the weekend, which is, of course, I'm sure you are aware, they are not having a reunion for the current season.
We're five episodes in, and we already have this news.
It was a little bit of a rumor that trickled out over the weekend, and then it was confirmed via sources by our friend Dave Quinn at People Magazine.
And then it was, of course, addressed by Andy on the radio on Monday.
I love that Andy is sometimes willing to speak on these things on the radio because, you know, if Bravo's not going to put out a statement, at least we can get Andy's two cents on the radio.
And he actually, he gave us some like tea without, you know, he's not going to like spoil the season.
But basically he alluded to, I'm just going to read this quote.
He said that on the finale of this season of Jersey, he said they have this epic final group encounter, which feels like the last supper, just so Jersey.
It's shocking and it's dramatic and it's amazing TV.
I'm telling you when you see it, I think that you'll feel complete.
So this is, as far as we can tell, in the trailer for the season, when Dolores is sitting at the table alone at Rails Steakhouse.
This is sort of her, you know, mafia, come to Jesus last supper.
upper kind of moment. And of course it goes left. I don't know exactly in which left direction it goes.
But that I'm very excited to see. And I actually had the pleasure earlier this week to sit down with
Jen Fessler, which you're going to hear on the podcast tomorrow. And we talked about it without
talking about it. If you know, you know, there's some good stuff in that interview. So I'm
excited for you to hear it. But basically she kind of echoed the same thing. That this finale is so
adjective, adjective,
that,
how could you do a normal reunion?
And I, to be honest,
I am,
I have mixed feelings about the no reunion.
Because on the one hand,
I totally understand what they're saying,
where it's like if the season ends in a certain place,
and there's not a realistic chance of having a reunion
with some kind of breakthrough or momentum or progress
or forward motion, then it does kind of feel like a futile exercise.
But at the same time, I think because of the precedent that we've set with Housewives,
not having a reunion, it does feel or it appears like you're giving up on the show in a way.
And I don't think that this is actually where they are with Jersey.
I think the way that they're, the way that Andy's talking about this finale, the way that I've heard, you know, internal people talking about this season of Jersey, I think they feel like there is a lot left in the tank. I think they're really excited about what we are going to see on this season. But I think that we are also at a point where change is sort of inevitable. And I think that maybe, maybe by not making cast changes between season 13 and
season 14, they kind of pushed their luck a little bit. Because last season's reunion,
nobody watched that and was like, this cast is in harmony. There's no, there's no underlying
issues. Everybody's going to get along, which like, I love that. I love that not everybody's
going to get along. But also, there is a, there's a fine line between a cast that has
a lot of drama and a lot of conflict and a lot of tension and a cast that just doesn't really
work together anymore. And I think that Jersey has often danced around that line. I mean,
we've seen people like Danielle Staub and Siggy Flickr dance past that line and then they're
no longer on the show. But I think that with the Teresa and Melissa of it all and with Margaret's
relationship with a couple people and with Jennifer's relationship with a couple people,
we are kind of living in that fine line gray area. And I think that this season, they made it work.
and I personally am still really enjoying this season.
I've been laughing at every episode.
I've been emotionally invested in every episode.
I think there are some really fascinating things at play within the cast.
But also, you run out of runway at a certain point.
If people aren't willing to work on their issues and come together and all of that,
you're only going to have so much time before that kind of clock runs out.
And so I do think we'll probably see some larger changes after this season of Jersey.
But that being said, I don't, I just, I don't agree with some of the people online.
I see who are like, this season of Jersey is terrible.
It's unwatchable.
It's the worst it's ever been.
You guys, no, it's not.
I'm sorry.
The guffaw that I let out, when Melissa shows up to her, you know, come to Jesus lunch with Jen Aiden, she goes, I'm sorry, I don't have.
a voice like, I don't know what's happening. And without missing a beat, Jennifer Hayden,
screaming at Joe. It's so good. It's so good. And whatever the fuck is going on with Jennifer and
Danielle, I'm fascinated. Danielle's bougie brunch. What a fucking disaster in a way that I can't take
my eyes off of. I think that there is, I think that there's a lot of good stuff happening this
season and I don't, I don't think it's perfect. I don't think it's like, I understand the need for
change, but I also, I'm a fan of knowing what you have while you still have it. And, you know,
if they, if they pave Franklin Lakes next season and put up a parking lot and we're, we're like,
oh, man, I miss so-and-so who's not on the show anymore, I don't want to be, I don't want to say that I didn't
appreciate them while they were there. So the Jersey ladies, I appreciate you. You're doing the Lord's
work, the Lord being Andy Cohen. You're doing a good, you're doing your best. Maybe not your best,
but like, you're doing a solid B plus. And I will continue to enjoy this season, I think. And likewise,
I mean, Dubai, we talked about it with Ayana Monday, but the premiere, pretty good. If you're on the
fence, if you are on the fence about the season of Dubai, I really think that you should
give it a chance. And I look, I don't want to be like the Andy Cohen of like the most dramatic
season ever. You're going to love it. Because I know, I know, I know, I know. It happens every season where he's like,
this reunion is crazy. And it's like sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't. I don't need to overhype this
season of Dubai. All I'm going to say is that I thought the premiere was really entertaining. I think this
cast has good stuff cooking. I'm excited to see where it goes. And look, at the end of the day,
if you want housewives, it's housewives.
If you don't want housewives,
you've made it, how many minutes into this podcast?
Good for you.
I'm sorry if you're still here.
But like, do you want it or not?
They're giving it to us.

Canva, the thing that makes anything

watching, this season of the Valley, man, man, man, man,
12 episodes,
not a bad one in the bunch.
And this finale, I
really feel like they gave us what we need
They're not giving us a reunion.
Now, I mean, that's a whole other conversation.
If Jersey's not getting a reunion, can we give that budget to the valley?
Can we just, like, drive the couches over there and set up shop?
We can do it in someone's backyard.
I don't give the fuck.
I did really appreciate.
I wasn't sure how they were going to handle the post-filming developments within this cast.
And I did really appreciate that they picked back up those cameras, as they are now seemingly doing for,
75% of the shows on Bravo and they gave us the updates we needed. It was an extended finale and
an hour long. It's on peacock right now uncensored. I think it's unscensored. I don't know. I always forget
like I'm watching it and I'm loving it and then in my mind I feel like I insert the bleeps.
I'm like I feel like I heard Jack say fuck, but I can't be too sure. But yeah, it was it was a finale that
kind of gave us what we needed but also didn't give us everything. And, and, and,
definitely left me wanting more for season two in a couple notable ways. And one of those is that
this finale was notably light on Kristen Doty. Now, going into this season, going into this
show as a whole, it was really thought of as the Jacks and Brittany and Kristen Project. That it's like,
okay, these three are getting a spinoff. It's going to be their show. We're going to follow whatever's going
on in their lives. And over the course of the season, we did, you know, we saw a lot of Kristen and
Luke's journey. Is this name Luke? I still, every, 12 weeks later, I'm still like, Luke, Alex,
Alex is the ex. Luke is the current one. There was another, there was a Carter at one point.
God. Kristen's boyfriends, really just in one ear and out the other. But in, when it, when push came to
shove, in the last few episodes, Kristen was not on the trip to Big Bear. We got little,
pull out scenes of her with Zach and her with Luke back in L.A.
And then she was at Jackson's Studio City opening party in the finale,
but she didn't really get her big moment with Janet.
And then in the camera's backup scenes,
we see Jesse and Michelle together.
We see a big scene of Jackson, Brittany, together.
And then there's The Girls hanging out.
It's Brittany coming over and it's Michelle and it's Nia and it's Janet.
And Kristen is nowhere to be seen.
And this, I was kind of shocked.
Because out of all the possibilities that we've talked about for season two of the Valley,
this was the first time it occurred to me that I'm like, are they,
are they like writing Kristen out of this show?
Because I, okay, I understand.
when it's like Janet's baby moon trip and she's saying that she's, you know, scared that Kristen and
Zach are going to pop up in the bushes and she's, she was ready to invite Zach on that phone call and
then she was, and she just couldn't do it. I get that that's a moment where Kristen, maybe the
producers were kind of like over outvoted and, and she wasn't on the trip. But at the finale,
I'm like, she just wasn't, she just wasn't included in any of this. It feels strange to watch somebody
who was, you know, seemingly one of the three kind of like stakeholders in this show,
not in a production sense, but in a, you know, getting the show greenlit, I would imagine.
That then she just kind of is a non-factor in the biggest moments of the season.
Because really this season, knowing from the point that it premiered that Jackson, Brittany,
had separated, and also to a lesser extent, Jesse and Michelle, just because we didn't know them
before. This was kind of what we were waiting for the whole time. And the fact that, I mean,
Kristen and Brittany, they go way back. Kristen has her like, my, my sweet baby Britney. And she's
not the one consoling Britney. She's not, we don't even see her. I don't know. That was,
it was surprising to me. I was glad we got the scene of Jesse and Michelle because their dynamic
does fascinate me. I, I was, um, I was a little.
surprised to see the the amount of conflict between them, knowing that when they filmed this.
So Jesse updates us that three days after they finished filming for the main part of the season,
three days later, Michelle tells him that their relationship is over. Just three days.
Now, I mean, TV brain, I'm kind of like, Michelle, could we have not moved to the timeline
up three days? That would have been a compelling thing to have happened in the main part of the finale.
Mama, we got to, let's do the math.
Sometimes we got to be strategic.
But I was glad, I was glad that we got this scene.
But they are, so they've, by the time they're filming us,
they've been separated for five months, six months.
And Jesse says that they are fighting about everything except for their daughter.
They have their co-parenting schedule worked out.
I'm very glad for that.
I think that it seems like they both are very invested in making sure that Isabella is,
is all good, which I love to see.
I'm not as confident that Jackson-Britney
were going to be on the same page with that.
But they're fighting about their real estate business
that they're separating.
They're past and present leads,
past and present clients,
past and present transactions.
I'm like, oh, my God, what's happening?
They're fighting about, or I don't know if they're fighting,
but he's like, do you have the food for the dog?
Do you have the day food, the night food, the bed, the thing, the thing, the thing, the thing, the thing,
the thing, like, I don't know what all you need to have a dog.
I'm not nurturing like that.
but like, I'm like, damn, bitch, like you've been separated for six months. You're just figuring out the dog food.
You know, far be it for me to say how someone should handle their separation. But I'm like, I feel like that's like a month one conversation. Like making sure you have the dog food. I don't know. I mean, when Jesse was here and on the podcast, like, I felt like I kind of was painted a picture of like, everything is good. We like, we co-parent well. And then other than that, we're like all set. I'm like, are you?
because you're talking about like money and contracts and things like that.
Seems like it could get messy.
Let's film season two now.
Get those cameras rolling.
No, but I'm sure they're going to have a lovely future separate from each other.
And thank God that Michelle can still walk to Chateau Marmont from where she's living now.
But then the Jackson-Britney situation.
And this, of course, I'm sure, is the real reason that cameras picked back up.
I don't think that they would have sent a crew out just for Jesse and Michelle.
sorry guys.
But hearing in the last few episodes of the season and then up through this finale,
the different kind of realities that Jacks and Brittany were living in was so fascinating to me.
You know, in the, when they were in Big Bear, and Jacks is telling the guys that they don't believe in divorce,
that they would never separate, that Britney would never leave him.
And meanwhile, Brittany is telling Janet, like, oh, yeah, I'll leave him.
Who say we don't believe in divorce?
And I think that it says so much about Jack's treatment of Brittany that she was the one ultimately to make those tough calls because you know so badly she didn't want to.
She's talking about, you know, the girls are asking her if it's like fully over if she's, you know, if she's 100% done.
And she's like, I mean, I'm at that tipping point, but I don't want to disappoint my family.
I don't want to let everyone down.
I put in so much work to get them to like Jacks.
And now she feels like she has to be the bad guy, basically.
And she has to, you know, go back with her tail between her legs and be and acknowledge that it didn't work and that she was wrong in a way.
And that he wasn't the person that she was convincing herself and everyone else that he was or was going to be.
And that is really heartbreaking.
because, like, as much as Brittany is somebody who maybe didn't do the best job of reading
the signs, aka when he, like, fucked her friend, the signs, you know, the subliminal messaging,
it still sucks to see somebody, like, have to face that their choices were the bad ones.
And of course, she, you know, she got her beautiful son out of it, so it's not like there was no
reason to be in that relationship. And of course, that's, you know, it's a, two things can be true.
You know, like, Jacks can be the fucking worst and also she can be happy that she has a child.
But seeing them together and her putting his feet to the flames about the fact that after
months and months and months of asking, he finally scheduled a therapy appointment.
The day before cameras were coming back up.
And the fact that she calls him on that on camera, I fucking love it.
Like, yes.
Get him.
And he's like, no, no.
And she's like, I don't even know.
He's going to go to the therapy appointment.
And then in the confessional, he's like, yeah, I didn't go to the appointment.
Yeah, it was far.
I don't know.
Like, Jack's is the person we have always known him to be.
And Brittany, I mean, God love her, but she's like, why?
why haven't you changed?
And it's like, people can change, you know, of course.
But like, you have to want to change.
You have to give a shit.
You have to be invested in making certain decisions for that aren't just for yourself.
But also they are for himself.
If he loves Brittany and he wants to be with her, then making the changes that she needs
him to make is doing something for himself because he's going to lose this relationship that he claims to want.
So I am so.
I'm so happy for her.
Standing her ground, leaving the house, she plays this TMZ recording of Jack's telling a
paparazzi guy that they're both living in the house together.
And she's like, why would you say that?
That's a lie.
And by lying about that, you're making me look like a liar because I told everyone that I moved
out of the house and you're like, no, no, it's all good.
And she's like, it's not good.
I'm not living here.
I just was not.
I was not necessarily expecting her to be this kind of like sure-footed in these choices.
And I really love to see that energy from her.
And that's something that going into season two of this show, I don't even know what
Brittany we're going to see.
And that is kind of exciting because if you think about it, we get this, you know, montage of
back in the day when Jacks first introduced Brittany to the group and she was brand new to L.A.
and them getting engaged and married, having the baby.
And we have never known a Britney on TV that wasn't Jack's is Britney.
You know, we've seen her have her moments of being mad at him or questioning their relationship,
but we've never seen her like outside of that relationship.
And so if she can kind of stick to her guns and actually leave his ass,
I am so, so curious what that's even going to be like in season two.
I'm like, getting a little bit of chills.
But the rest of the cast, I mean, look, I think that this cast is pretty great.
Like, I wouldn't recommend any big changes.
The stuff with Zach and Janet in the finale, it's a little bit much.
like when they talk at Jack's bar opening
and Janet is claiming that she was planning to invite Zach
on the baby moon on that phone call
but then he got aggressive
and I'm like first of all I don't know if you were actually planning to invite him
like you seemed already pretty anti-Zac
but then she also let slip that he was on speaker during that phone call
and there were other people in the room and so he's like offended at this
of course I mean like he's going to take everything
to the nth degree. That's just, that's the personality we have. Um, so Janet storms, Janet storms off.
She calls Zach, loser ass trash. Um, and then Zach is talking to Brittany and Michelle and they're like,
you're going to cause you, you need to calm down because she's pregnant and she could actually,
she could have like, she could go into labor or something. And I'm like, okay, first of all, like,
Janet signed up for this. She, she knew what she was getting into, but also it's like, I mean,
I guess, like, I don't, I don't know. It's like, is, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's,
Is Zach yelling at Janet going to make her go into early labor?
Perhaps.
I'm not a obstetrician.
But then he says she is, she's not the queen of England.
Well, actually, she is the queen of England because she's dead to me.
And with that, I mean, oh, there's a lot of queens on this show.
That's for sure.
I don't know.
It's just like so fucking ridiculous.
But I can't not laugh.
I, what can I say?
Are you not entertained?
I am entertained.
And then I do really, I'm intrigued in this thread of Jasmine kind of being in the middle
because then Janet basically accuses Jasmine of not having her back because she's friends with
Zach.
And this is something that is, you know, a tale as old as time on a Bravo show is like, if you
are friends with my enemy, can you still be my friend or are we automatically enemies?
And I feel like Janet is like, she's trying to draw some lines in the sand.
And I don't know how well that's going to work for her.
But also, I don't know about Zach's situation either because he's.
He's like a friend of, and then he wasn't at the, I was expecting him to be like at the girls thing with, um, with Britney.
So I don't know what's happening there. I'm curious to see like what they are going to do with this cast for season two.
Because I think Jasmine, I would love to see her full time. I think that she has like, she's in an interesting middle position.
I think that Zach, love him or hate him. He's brought a lot this season. But also it's like if you, if you give a mouse a cookie, like if you make a, if you make a dramatic gay guy full time, I might not.
not go well. Look, yeah, it is what it is. But anyway, season one of the Valley, what a, what a show.
What an experiment. It really paid off. And I can't wait for season two. God, I really hope they're,
I hope they're like already filming. They should be. They need to be. We need them to be.
But with that, thank you so much for listening. Make sure you rate review and follow the show
wherever you listen. My interview with Jen Fessler will be out tomorrow. That's going to be a lot of fun.
So make sure that you listen to that.
And until next time, be cool. Don't be all like uncool.
