Starting point is 00:00:00 Girl, winter is so last season. And now Springs got you looking at pictures of tank tops with hungry eyes. Your algorithm is feeding you cutoffs. You're thirsty for the sun on your shoulders. That perfect hang on the patio sundress. Those sandals you can wear all day and all night. And you've had enough of shopping from your couch. Done hoping it looks anything like the picture when you tear up on that envelope.
Starting point is 00:00:24 It's time for a little in-person spring treat. It's time for a trip to Ross. Work your magic. Betches Media presents Ha ha, laugh, funny. Mention It All, a Bravo by Betches podcast. We don't say that, but now we said it. With me, Dylan Hafer.
Starting point is 00:00:41 We're going to check me, boo. Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the Mention It All podcast. I am so glad to be joined by another Dubai housewife this week. She's in the studio for the first time, Mrs. Lisa Milan. Hello. Hello. I'm so happy to be here.
Starting point is 00:00:59 I'm such a super fan of Betches. Well, thank you. I mean, we're happy to have you here, too. Thank you. We have been lucky to have a fair number of the Dubai ladies in the studio this season. And you are somebody that I have not gotten a chance to talk to at all yet. Last season, this season. First time.
Starting point is 00:01:14 We've never met. And I feel like you're picking up some steam right now where we are in the season. Okay. We've got to talk. We have a lot to catch up on, don't we? So we're like, we're a ways into this season. You know, you have reunion coming up soon. A lot has happened.
Starting point is 00:01:30 How are you feeling going into this trip to Bali on? this season. How have you felt so far as it's been unfolding? So so far it's been great for me. You know, I feel like I'm in a really good place so far with everyone. But Bali is going to be a little bit tough because I feel like that's going to be the beginning of the downfall. Yeah. You know, with Ion and I. So it's going to be, it's going to be hard. I'm not going to lie to you. But I think a lot of what the fans are waiting for to see what the explanation and everything is behind or fallout is going to start to show. I feel like in season one, you very quickly developed a reputation for being sort of a shade
Starting point is 00:02:11 assassin, if you will. I don't know where this is coming from. I feel like I'm just honest. And I actually genuinely don't even try to be shady. Yeah. It just sometimes my honesty, I think, just comes off that way. Well, I was going to say, I feel like maybe in season two, it feels like a little, the energy is maybe a little softer.
Starting point is 00:02:30 Do you feel that? I don't know. I'm always myself. And the thing is with me, I say what most people are thinking, but they probably just won't say. So I think sometimes it comes off as me being shady, but honest to God, I am just me. I just say what everybody else is thinking. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:48 Well, and you said, like, you said it for most of this season, you have pretty much been in a good place with most of the groups. So there's less kind of tension there. Exactly. I have my hiccups here and there. but I actually went into season two, you know, wanting to have fun. Yeah. I felt like in season one we lacked a lot of fun and it was a little bit draining.
Starting point is 00:03:08 And so I really wanted to enjoy my friends. You know, we're a group of girlfriends at the end of the day. And who wants to be around the girls that you don't like? You know, so for me, it was more important to have fun this season. Yeah, it does feel, obviously there are some major conflicts within the group this season. Yeah. You know, that's me, it's housewives. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:26 But it feels like maybe it's a little easier for you. wall to just kind of be together this season. Yeah. I feel like last season there were certain moments where it's like, oh, like these two can't possibly be in the same room or like this is who's getting it uninvited to what. And it's nice when you can have your kind of flare-ups, but then everybody can still show up to the same party and it's not. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:03:48 I mean, I feel like we're in a whole new era, just not just with us and our friendship group, but I think where the world is going in general. Like people want to see fun. People want to see women empowerment. People want to see the drama because it's just what happens when you put a bunch of girls together. But I think the world has kind of evolved. They don't want to see dark. They kind of want to see light and airy.
Starting point is 00:04:10 There's so much going on in the world that if you're watching a show, you kind of want to escape from the negativity and kind of, you know, live vicariously through the people in the show. Well, I remember when I, before the season started, when I pulled up the premiere to watch it, you know, it had been a while since you guys were on. I'm like, okay, like, got to get back into this. And the first episode, when you all are going back over who was where at the Beyonce concert. And there's like, we were serious about Beyonce. Cartoon animation up on the screen of who was in which VIP. I'm like, this is kind of exactly like the level of it's like a little bit petty.
Starting point is 00:04:47 It's a little bit funny. It is a little bit shady. Yeah. It's fun shade. Right. At the end of the day, like, is anybody actually losing sleepover? Exactly. You know what?
Starting point is 00:04:58 I used to watch Housewives back in the day and that was kind of what I liked. I love that it was so aspirational. And you kind of wanted to be friends with those girls when you're watching it, right? I think for us, as a friendship group, we kind of wanted to stay true to that. And I think we kind of did, kind of sometimes.
Starting point is 00:05:15 We failed sometimes. I'm not going to lie. But because you're really, it's not scripted. And this is our real life. So we're going through the motions. Sometimes we're really good and sometimes we're just not. You talk about why. watching Housewives back in the day.
Starting point is 00:05:27 Yeah. And there's one moment from BravoCon last year. You were at this Watch What Happens Live that was like the shade room. Yeah, yeah. Whatever. You have this comment about Sharray's fashions. I did. I did.
Starting point is 00:05:41 I don't know if you know. So when you go to watch What Happens Live in the audience, they play this like montage before the show starts to get you like hyped up. Oh, I didn't know that. It's all iconic moments. It's like a few minutes long. It's like Nikki Minaj, Oprah, like all John Mayer, like, all the celebrities.
Starting point is 00:05:57 Yeah. That moment, they put it in the montage now. No way. Oh, I love that. Oh, I love that. It's just me being me. Yeah. You know, um, of course you're right.
Starting point is 00:06:07 The BravoCon is so fun because it, it's like everybody's there and it's such a. And it kind of puts you on the spot, doesn't it? Yeah. And it feels like you're almost like it's a little bit of like a out of body like, no, everybody shouldn't be in the same place, but here we are. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:23 Yeah. No, it was really fun. And honestly, I do genuinely like Shiree. You know, she was just collateral damage. Well, and I feel like for you having watched Housewives in the past, like being on stage like that with somebody like Shiree, it's like, yeah, like I want to sit at the table. I'm going to play. Well, you know what? Actually, Karen Huger made a joke about, you know, the whole OG thing.
Starting point is 00:06:48 What a lot of people don't know, on that stage, I was really the original OG because I did College Hill. way before housewives was even thought of. And those who know college Hill on BET, it was a big show back then. You know, so I'm not new to reality TV. Right. I've been around the block a few times. And yeah, I really was the true OG on that stage. But I'll let it pass.
Starting point is 00:07:13 You're like, I'll let them have it a little. I'll let them have it. She didn't know who I was then, but she knows now. Yeah. I do think with Dubai, I think one of the strengths is that it feels like all of you in the cast kind of really understand. what a show like this requires? I don't know about everybody.
Starting point is 00:07:29 Maybe not, okay. I don't know about everybody. But yes, a few of us understand the assignment. There's a lot of people who understand, you know, the group overall, I feel like a pretty high grade on the assignment. Thank you. Thank you. And even, I mean, with Caroline Stanbury, I was talking to her earlier this season.
Starting point is 00:07:44 It's 10 years since she started on Ladies of London. So like. Oh, is it? I didn't watch that show. It's, so there is kind of this reality TV, like knowledge and understanding. Yeah. I think she definitely understands. stands the assignment.
Starting point is 00:07:58 So this season, we're gearing up for this trip to Bali. Yes. There's a lot that's, there's a lot that's simmering and we'll get to some of the drama. Yeah. But it's fun that you're one of the people in the group who kind of helped put this trip together. You're the eat in the eat and I'm the eat. I love food. You know, I'm Jamaican and we're always saying, I love my belly.
Starting point is 00:08:20 Like I love to eat. Food is my love language. Whenever my husband pisses me off, you know, if it's not a handbook, like, he offers me lobster. Because he knows, that's just the key to my heart. Or crab legs. A bucket of crab legs will seal the deal. So yeah, it was quite fitting to put me in charge of food because people know I'm so
Starting point is 00:08:37 picky and I will go all out for a good meal. So going into this trip, I feel like thus far on the season, the biggest drama has, you've kind of steered clear a little bit because it's been this Brooks and Tallinn and Stanbury kind of weird. angle thing happening. Watching that unfold in real time during filming, what is your kind of take on that whole side of the group? Because it feels, it's a little messy.
Starting point is 00:09:06 It's super messy. I mean, here's the thing. When you bring somebody into the group, it's kind of like an unspoken language that you kind of expect their loyalty, right? I think not blind loyalty, but loyalty to some extent. And for me, I'm so big on loyalty. If my girlfriend's having an argument with her friend about me, naturally I'm not going to try to befriend her friend. That's my, that's what I would not do, right?
Starting point is 00:09:38 Everybody's different. Everybody has their own agenda. And to be honest with the whole Talene and Brooke situation, I feel like Brooks overreacted a lot when it came to Stanbury and Tallinn. But in general, I kind of feel her, you know, like, how am I defending you? and you're trying to befriend the apps. You know, so I think for me personally, it's tricky, it's sticky. I don't recommend bringing your very, very close friends
Starting point is 00:10:11 into these kind of situations. And, you know, I mean, look at what happened with me and Ion. We were literally best friends in real life, you know, outside of the show. I don't know. It's sad. I hope that they can come back together because it's not, it's not worth it, you know? And it's conversations I'm hoping that can be had to soothe it over at reunion.
Starting point is 00:10:32 It was interesting. Brooks was on Watch What Happens Live last week. Okay. At first she said she thinks there's a very good chance that they'll make up at reunion. I hope so. But then she was like, I'm very willing to accept an apology from her. Mm-hmm. And that's it.
Starting point is 00:10:49 Yeah. And Andy's like, I mean, we might need to come to some sort of. of compromise. Yeah, in true books fashion. I mean, she's tit for tat. You know, you tit, she tats. Yeah. She really rode hard for Tallene and I think she feels betrayed, rightfully so. Because, I mean, like, how do you go and talk about our problems with the girl I'm having problems with? You know, I don't know. It's just all very strange. And then obviously the situation that happened last episode with the husband. Yeah. You know, I feel like, like it was wrong.
Starting point is 00:11:28 It was out of line. And no guy should ever get into a woman in women's arguments. Yeah, I thought it was interesting to hear you talk about that on this week's episode. Because as somebody in the group who also is married, not everyone in the group has that equivalent dynamic. That it's like you looking at that and saying, I wouldn't want that. Listen, at the time, I was not close to Brooks when I, you know, inserted myself, as Talene likes to say. But I would have done it for any of them. I would have even done it for Stanberry.
Starting point is 00:11:58 I don't think that it's okay for guys to get into women's arguments or even to be verbally aggressive. You know, Rafi's a nice guy. He genuinely is, but he lost his cool. I think a simple apology, I'm hoping can fix it, but my husband would have handled it differently. Make every get-together chill. Starting point is 00:13:11 That's why you rack. And I think there's also something too at that, at the housewarming at Stanbury's house. It was like everybody was sitting around the table and then the second people get up from the table, I feel like the dynamic shifts a little bit where it's like, whether you were all wrong to be fair. Whether you like the word chasing or not,
Starting point is 00:13:32 it's like there is this kind of like, you know, if somebody wants to leave, let them leave kind of thing. Definitely. And I think we were all wrong because I would have hated if that happened at my house warming, at my brand new house.
Starting point is 00:13:44 I would have been pissed. I'm not going to lie. I would have been pissed from the sage to everything. I would have been pissed. It was a little much. It was a little much, especially because she's trying to celebrate something that she's worked hard for, right?
Starting point is 00:13:56 So I would have been equally. as upset. But I felt like, I don't know, the husband's getting involved. It's just not my thing. I just don't ride for that. Rich, your husband, seems to be very content to just kind of like listen to whatever he needs to listen to and then go do his own thing. You know, Rich is so funny because every time he comes in, he drops.
Starting point is 00:14:16 He just, he does a mic drop moment and like leaves, you know? Yeah. But no, he's not. My husband's very, you know, that's girl stuff. Let me go play golf and do my thing. he doesn't get involved. I was talking to, I was talking to Brooks about something I like about your show is that the,
Starting point is 00:14:34 the families feel very present, but in like a natural kind of just. Yeah, not forced, right? It doesn't feel like there's like, oh, now I have to do something with my kids to make,
Starting point is 00:14:46 you know, content or whatever. To show that I actually participate. Like, it's nice to see you guys in your homes and, you know, living your everyday lives. But it doesn't feel like,
Starting point is 00:14:56 it doesn't feel like this like heavy. piece of the show in a way. Yeah. Yeah. No, I like that. I like that the kids get to be in and out. The husbands get to be, well, not all the husbands, but the husbands can choose to be in and out. Those who choose to be, you know, the other housewives, then that's, that's their thing. Did you, was there a moment where you thought Sergio was coming to Bali? I did. Did you see the look on my face? Did you see the look on my face? My face said it all. Like, come on. Are you kidding me? I was going to say, both of you guys stay back, literally.
Starting point is 00:15:29 Like, it's a girl's trip. I'm getting away from all this testosterone, because I have three sons, you know, and a husband and a dog. Like, I'm trying to get away from all this male energy, and I do not need Sergio on my trip. No, I feel like it goes back to like Real Housewives of New York, like OG OG with like Alex and Simon. Like the husband doesn't come on the girls trip. No.
Starting point is 00:15:53 We want to talk about sex and like be crazy. We want to walk around in our underwear. We don't need, you know, a guy there. No. So one more thing for with the Brooks and Talene of it all. Do you feel like you had a perspective of whether or not Talene was like begging to be on the show? Because she's very adamant that she was not. She says it took her in Rafi like a year to decide whether it was the right thing for them.
Starting point is 00:16:20 I don't know if it took them a year to decide. Tallene wanted to be on the show. Talene wanted to be on the show. Do I think she begged to be on it? Maybe not. But she definitely wanted to be on the show. And Brooks actually did plant the seeds that needed to be, right? You know, with the whole casting process, it's quite lengthy for everyone.
Starting point is 00:16:41 But she put her in a position where she would be at the forefront. She's been around the group, you know, so she has that connection. She's been to some of her events on camera from season one. So she has that as well. Yeah. And then she has all of us in her corner. You know, because when I met her prior to being on the show, she was always really nice. So I was like literally the number one cheerleader like, oh my God, yes, I hope you come.
Starting point is 00:17:05 You know, you'll bring the fun. I've always been super supportive. So even to hear her in some of her interviews saying that she felt like it was a hazing, it's so not true. Because we were all so excited and so welcoming. And that actually surprised me when she said that. I think also it's like there's nothing wrong with wanting to be honest. the show. Yeah, it's a great show. And let's be clear, we are some fabulous girls. Okay, I would want to be friends with us too. You know, so there's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to be in this
Starting point is 00:17:37 circle. Everybody who's ever been a housewife wanted to be on the show. Yeah, exactly. It was just very weird. I don't know. I think she was just trying to debunk whatever Brooks said. And so that was her response. But no, she really wanted to be on the show. And Brooks made it happen for her. It's hard. It's hard when you're having an issue with someone and you get to the point where kind of whatever they say, you're going to be like, no, it's not. That's not true. Exactly. Because then it's like you're not really even listening to what they're saying.
Starting point is 00:18:07 You're just like, I don't agree. You're just responding. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, no, definitely. So going into this Bali trip, we have seen in the previews and stuff that this is going to be a rocky time for you and Ion coming up. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:20 Did you have an inkling prior to that trip that that was coming for you guys? Absolutely. not, absolutely not. You know, the voice note that was played, I had no idea before that dinner that it was shared. And Ina and I talk about everything. She told me everything that happened at that lunch. You know, she's like, girl, this happened, this happened,
Starting point is 00:18:43 and she completely removed that bit of information. So I felt totally blindsided, you know, because to be fair, I was being messy. I should have never sent the voice note in the first place. Sarah trusted me with that voice note, but I really didn't understand what she meant. You know, so I thought she was like turning on Brooks. So I'm like, bitch, did she say what I thought she said kind of vibe when I sent it to Ion? Not knowing that she would play it.
Starting point is 00:19:09 So. Right. Yeah. So, okay. So to walk back the voice note because we hear it for the first time in this like flashback to a lunch with Ion. So Sarah sends you this note like how long before you're in Bali? No. So it was right after the Rafi Talene housewarming fight with Brooks.
Starting point is 00:19:29 So we were all discussing, well, Sarah and I were just discussing like, listen, you know, this is how we feel about the situation. And I was telling her, listen, I am not the biggest fan of Brooks, but I jumped in anyways because right is right and wrong is wrong. So then Sarah followed up with, she said whatever she said him. Then she ended it with like, yeah, I'm not her biggest fan. So I thought, oh, what? She's not her biggest fan either, but they're like besties.
Starting point is 00:20:00 Like she's helping her with her healing. Like, Ayan, is she saying what I'm saying? You know, that was like the context. But she said no, it was, I misinterpreted it. And she, you have to watch it. You have to watch it. I'm not going to give it all the way. You have to watch it.
Starting point is 00:20:14 Because next episode, yeah, next episode, you're going to see the explanation behind it. So I think the Brooks and Sarah, friends. friendship is really interesting. And Caroline Stanbury is like bewildered by this friendship. She's like, what are you talking about? All of a sudden you're right. No, but it's not all of a sudden because I feel like it was the three of them last season, right? They wore a trio.
Starting point is 00:20:39 So it's just that she's she's been excluded from the trio. But Brooks and Sarah remained close. So you think that Stanbury's issue with their friendship is really more that she's on the outside of it? Yeah. And she can't control them anymore. Like they're not doing her dirty work anymore. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:57 That's what it is. Yeah. And I think also just from watching the show from an outside perspective, I feel like Sarah is somebody who she is going to try and explain how she thinks someone else is feeling. Sarah truly just wants the peace. Right. Believe it or not. Like I know we make fun of her and, you know, I call her and say like, you know,
Starting point is 00:21:15 she's a walking Instagram meme because she literally quotes all of them. But she's genuinely, she just wants the piece. Like she wants us all to just like be in Zen mode and, you know, and she means well. I think we all, I think everybody has friends like that where it's like sometimes you're in a bad mood and they're trying to like give you some mantra. And it's like, let me be, let me be mad right now. Yeah, exactly. But we can't all be turn up queens. Like imagine if we all had a group of six women that we all always wanted to turn up and no one to bring us down.
Starting point is 00:21:46 It wouldn't work. We need, we need Sarah's energy sometimes to like kind of mellow things out. Study and play. Come together on a Windows 11 PC. And for a limited time, college students get the best of both worlds. Get the Unreal College deal, everything you need to study and play with select Windows 11 PCs.

Sprite is a registered trademark of the Coca-Cola. company. What did you think of Brooks's decision to kind of ghost the group flight to Bali and then
Starting point is 00:23:01 arrive? Listen, it's still a mystery how she made it there in such a quick time because we, well, to what I know, we left hours before her. You know, to this day, I've been asking her like, did you go the day before us? Like, how did you get there? You know, but she flew private. She's like, I flew private. And you believe that? I do. I mean, she has the means to fly private. it. So it could be, but for me, it's not about the flying private or flying commercial. It's the timing that I'm trying to figure out. The plane isn't like a supersonic jet.
Starting point is 00:23:34 Well, it depends on the size she got, right? They do tend to get you to places a lot quicker. But that's not the mystery for me. I just want to know how she got there so quickly. It's like a nine-hour flight from Dubai to Bonn. It's nine hours. And the other flight on Emirates, I think, left like six hours later.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Like we really all sat around trying to figure this out. And she got there like late at like at night. Yeah, but she really got there like four hours after us. Like how? So we're trying to do the math because the math ain't math in. Did you, but so she was at least to hear her tell it,
Starting point is 00:24:11 she was really struggling with whether or not to come on this trip at all. Yeah, based on what she said, she said the whole thing that happened with her and Rafi and telling me, remember there were friends before all of this. I think I'm sure they were all. Yeah. They were all shaken up, I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:24:26 And so she really struggled with whether or not she wanted to protect her mental peace because she's working on herself. Or does she want to come on the trip that she helped to plan? So I'm actually glad that she showed up. Yeah. Yeah. I think in general, it's always nice to just have everyone show up on the trip. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I think specifically for her, it does feel like she's at the center of some of the big things that we're kind of following this season.
Starting point is 00:24:50 Yeah, yeah. Yeah, it makes sense to have everyone there. I think having that first dinner without her maybe was helpful for kind of everybody else set their intention. Yeah. Yeah. So obviously we talked a little bit about this voice note situation and things starting to crack for you and Ayan. So do you feel like obviously we are going to see more, but do you feel like that voice note really was kind of the real thing that got things to start to crack? or were there other elements that kind of came out?
Starting point is 00:25:24 You know what? To be honest, prior to the voice note, I always thought we had like open communication. We didn't lie to each other. We didn't leave things out. Like, you know, and it was shocking. And I think it was really the beginning. Because I felt like she kind of betrayed my trust. Right.
Starting point is 00:25:42 You know, and then she shared it with people that I'm not that cool with. You know, like I'm getting, I'm trying. I'm working on, you know, getting over that hump and everything that's that very did to me at the reunion. You know, so I'm trying. I'm working on it. You know, as you can see, I've been putting in a lot of effort. I show up.
Starting point is 00:25:58 I support. I laugh. I smile. But I still have my eye on her, you know? And so to share that with, of all people, to share it with her, I thought it was like such a slap in the face. And not just that. Tell me then.
Starting point is 00:26:12 So I'm not blindsided. At least tell me like, oh, by the way, girl, don't be mad. But I did this. Right. And then also, I mean, because then your relationship with Sarah is going to be affected. Exactly. And so it has a ripple effect. I mean, it's not that big of a group.
Starting point is 00:26:25 Like everybody's going to. And so Sarah is now looking at me sideways like, okay, so I can't trust you. Right. I know that now. You know, and I always had like a really funny thing before when I and I were friends. I used to be like, your secret is safe with you, me and my best friend, you know. But now, no, never again. I would never do that again.
Starting point is 00:26:44 Wow. Yeah. So we have the rest of the trip to Bali. Yes. Which is going to be a lot of fun. Yes. A lot of entertainment. A lot of fireworks. A lot of eyeworks.
Starting point is 00:26:56 Bali was explosive. Do you feel like the first half of the season where you were getting along with everybody was kind of you like resting up and now you kind of got to get in the ring a little? I think so. I think the first few episodes was a bit, you know, mellow. And I think it's about to get turned up. I really like seeing your mom. Oh, thank you. I'm still trying to convince her, by the way.
Starting point is 00:27:16 And I'm really close, FYI, to her moving to Dubai. But no. Does she live in Miami? Yeah, she lives in Miami. So it's kind of a toss-up. You know, maybe she lives somewhere that was like cold and she wanted, she needed some heat. Right, like Caroline's got the Boston family like. Yeah, you know.
Starting point is 00:27:31 But for me, it's a tough one because Miami is amazing. So it's like, how do I convince her to leave her amazing life in Miami to move to Dubai? It's an amazing life in Dubai. It is. It is. I'm trying to, I'm working on it. It's hard to be that far away from family. It's a long way.
Starting point is 00:27:47 Especially when you're raising children, you know. For me, I grew up around my aunties and my grays. and my grandmother and, you know, it took a village to raise me. And what a lot of people don't see for us as expats, we don't have our families. You know, so we have to rely on nannies to help us. And even for Rich and I, we're super hands-on when it comes to our kids that we don't even get to take vacations alone unless his mom flies in or my mom flies in to watch the kids because there's no way, as much as I love my nanny, I'm leaving my kids with my nanny
Starting point is 00:28:16 while we're outside of a country. You know, it's not going to happen. And then when you do, you're working on the play. Oh my God, because Mina Roe, I'm so proud of Minero. And, you know, we had some things that we're working on. We were launching our new skincare line and all of that was happening right as I was leaving to Bali. Of course it was.
Starting point is 00:28:34 So I needed to like get all of those things together. But I've since learned to micromanage, you know, a lot less and delegate a lot more. My team has expanded. So I have a lot more free time. Do you think that kind of learning to let go of things a little bit? translates it all to your friendships? 100%. Like I don't, you're probably never going to see me stuck to one person, you know?
Starting point is 00:28:59 And sometimes I think everything happens for a reason. And no, I've just been thriving and being fabulous on my own, you know? It can be like a hard lesson to learn. It's a hard lesson to learn, but it's such a valuable one. You know, I love that I'm in a good space with almost all the girls on my cast. Like they all come to me to talk about fashion, what to wear. you know, business. And I love that I kind of have a relationship with each of them individually.
Starting point is 00:29:27 Yeah. Yeah. I think that's, I think the, the kind of healthiest ensemble shows are the ones where each person can hang out one on one. Yeah. But then when you're all together as a group, there's kind of that like special recipe. Exactly. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:29:41 So you have reunion coming up. We do. It's been a while since you filmed. It's been a long time since your last reunion. Yeah. What is your kind of intention going in? We're setting intentions in Bali. We're setting attention.
Starting point is 00:29:54 Thank you, Sarah. So to be honest with you, I'm hoping that the remaining of the episodes give me some kind of clarity. Okay. And I think that's going to help with how I approach reunion. Because I feel like there are a lot of missing pieces that I don't even have the answers to. I'm like, where did we go so wrong to end up where we are today? you know and she's had five or six different versions of why you know where we are where we are and I just want to see it all play out yeah obviously there's editing and so many other pieces that go
Starting point is 00:30:29 with it but overall I'm just hoping to get answers and I think that's going to help me with how I approach reunion yeah yeah I think it's important because obviously it's like when when people are doing press or on social media or you know being asked about stuff like yeah you know you you say what you say in the moment, but watching that kind of the original events play out. Yeah. The confessionals and the... Exactly.
Starting point is 00:30:53 Because in my eyes, in my mind, I did nothing wrong. Nothing wrong to contribute to this. You know, so I just want to... Because maybe I did. Maybe there was something that I missed
Starting point is 00:31:04 that the producers picked up that can be like, oh, okay, I owe her an apology. I can go in and apologize. So you don't think there's like a hot mic moment. No,
Starting point is 00:31:13 there's no hot mic moment. No, no. I was so loyal to her. I loved her so much. And there could never be a hot night, hot mic moment because they just couldn't be. It's not a situation like that. You guys are going to watch it to see how it all unfolds. I'm going to be watching with you as well because I'm like, unless, unless they can come up with some weird fake thing, there's nothing at all that I can think of. You're like, I'm a reality TV. OG. I know to take the mic off. That part. You're like, I go way, way back. That part. Pre-social media days, okay? Oh, my gosh. Maybe it would be easier.
Starting point is 00:31:56 Well, Lisa, this has been amazing. Thank you so much for being here. Thank you so much for having me. Congrats on all your success. Thank you. Good luck at the reunion. Yeah, it's going to be epic. Tune in, guys, every Tuesday on Bravo 9 p.m.
Starting point is 00:32:12 This episode is brought to you by Angry Orchard. Picking the right drink for your party can be overwhelmed. The grocery store coolers are just spilling with different options, and it can be tough to please everyone. That's why my go-to is Angry Orchard Hard Cider. They have a variety of offerings for any taste, and they're all crazy crisp and madly refreshing. Now that it's summer, you know, you're looking for something that's going to have that fun, delicious summer flavor, but also be refreshing and give you, you know, that little buzz that you want. And I feel like Angry Orchard is just like, it's the perfect thing for whatever mood you're in. It doesn't feel like a commitment when you're having an Angry Orchard.
Starting point is 00:32:46 It's like a nice, easy choice. And we all have that one friend who always picks the best most crowd-pleasing beverage, no matter what. They're the kind of person you want to share a drink with, a sort of influencer, a tastemaker, someone who just gets it. And this week, I'm going to talk about which Bravo Lab I'd like to crack open a cold one with on this segment. Who do you want to have a cider with this week? And this week, this week and every week, to be honest, who could it be? But the woman herself, Alexis Bolino, who has just recently made her return, her triumphant return, you might say to the Bravo airwaves. Look, for such a long time, Alexis has been someone where I don't know if I
Starting point is 00:33:23 would like trust her with important information or with like, you know, big decisions or things like that. But when you watch a Bravo show and there's just somebody where you're like, that's somebody that I would just want to vibe out with for like a fun afternoon, grab some drinks, get a little appetizer, maybe like some fries for the table and a little, a little cold beverage. And I think Alexis is just like a good time girl in the exact right way. I would have so much fun just letting her talk about whatever she wanted and kind of just sitting back and listening and whatever comes out of her mouth, whether it's about John Jansen or Shannon Badoor or any number of things. I think it would just be a fun vibe. She's been recently posting on social media. She's really going at it with Shannon,
Starting point is 00:34:06 both on the show and off, which I respect. And so Shannon had made this claim in some interview where she said that she had been dating John Jansen again right before her situation in the fall. And Alexis screenshotsed this. And this is what she said. She said, I know whatever all right, I'll be painted as the mean girl. But I'll gladly take the public beating if it will calm the storms. Shannon, your obsession with John needs to end. I know my relationship with John has been a saving grace for you,
Starting point is 00:34:33 as you have been eagerly mentioning our names in every interview in an effort to bypass all accountability for your arrest. I ask you with all sincerity to please stop exploiting us in your. your manipulative sympathy tour. John and I just want to live happily in peace and we wish you the same. You know what I don't believe that Alexis just wants Shannon to live happily in peace? Because Shannon, it seems like she is,
Starting point is 00:34:57 she's a little fragile. And Alexis's mission in life right now seems to just be, one, riding hard for her Johnny J and two, shattering Shannon's peace at any chance she gets. And look, is that somebody who I maybe want to be like my closest friend, perhaps not. I think it would be a little chaotic. I think it would be a little bit unpredictable. But that absolutely is somebody that I would want to spend an afternoon with just having a good time, gossiping and getting all the tea and just sort of like kicking back
Starting point is 00:35:26 and listening. The energy, honestly, I think is a little similar to a Kelly Ben-Simon where like some of the things that come out of her mouth are a little bit like, uh, wait, what? What are you talking about? But I think it would be a good time nonetheless. So Alexis Bolino hit me up. We can grab a cider whenever. Thank you again to our sponsor, Angry Orchard.
