Girl, winter is so last season.
And now Springs got you looking at pictures of tank tops with hungry eyes.
Your algorithm is feeding you cutoffs.
You're thirsty for the sun on your shoulders.
That perfect hang on the patio sundress.
Those sandals you can wear all day and all night.
And you've had enough of shopping from your couch.
Done hoping it looks anything like the picture when you tear up on that envelope.
It's time for a little in-person spring treat.
It's time for a trip to Ross.
Work your magic.

Mention It All
A Bravo by Betches podcast
We don't say that but now we said it
With Dylan Hafer
And Barry Rosenfeld
I need to start drinking alcohol
Now go to sleep week
Hey everyone
Welcome back to the mention at all podcast
I'm Dylan Hafer
And I'm Barry Rosenfeld
It's Friday
Getting down on Friday
We actually have a reason to sing it this week
because she put out a remix for the 10-year anniversary.
I was like, wait, right when I started, I was like, wait, we should have,
we should have, like, choreographed that before.
We should have choreographed for a podcast.
That's, um, what did you think of the remix, by the way?
I feel like it's not your, your cup of tea.
I didn't listen to it.
Oh, my God.
I will today.
I will today.
That just was not like a priority for me.
It's a very, like, it's a very, um, I would say it's for a gay remix.
it's like very, you know, big Frida's in it.
Like the 303 thing is fun.
Whatever.
That's not what you're doing.
Oh my God.
I miss them.
You have to watch it with the video because the video is like bizarre.
But anyway, this is a Bravo podcast.
Welcome back.
It feels weird that it's Friday and we don't have Southern Charm to talk about.
So for some strange reason last night, I, you know, you always watch your shows before you put on like what's on that night.
So obviously summer houses on last night.
And for some strange reason, I thought there was another part of the Southern Charm reunion.
So I was like, wait, what happened?
Was it like secrets revealed or something?
Yeah, it was like never seen before.
And then I caught the end of it.
And I was like, damn, we actually should have watched it to talk about because they all were talking about and meeting at like Leva's restaurant at Republic.
And I was like, that is the first place I'm fucking going when I go to Charleston is Republic.
That's it.
I don't want to see anything else with that.
I have a, I have a weird relationship.
with the secrets revealed episodes.
Like for some reason...
We know everything already.
Yeah.
I mean like for like I guess sometimes they have like interesting stuff, but I just like a no part
of me ever is in the mood to watch them.
And I feel like usually they are not good enough usually to make me regret that decision.
But we.
Yeah, that's true.
Well, today we're talking about summer house.
But before we get into that, I did want to bring something up really quick.
because it kind of all came out on social media yesterday
and we have no details about it,
but I'm going to mention the feud between Jackie and Teresa
on Real Houses of New Jersey seems very, very intense
to the fact where Jackie said that she took a step back
and she didn't go on the cast trip with them
because she didn't know if she can like continue filming with these women.
And I am dying.
to know what happens.
Well, we did way back, this feels like, I mean, this was months ago.
It feels like even longer.
We did that Halloween party on Zoom with the Real Housewives.
And Jackie was one of the guests.
They had a bunch of, like Ashley Darby was there, some of the Salt Lake women.
And she said that this is the first time in her three seasons that she has skipped any
filming events because she felt like she just like couldn't be there.
Yeah.
So I'm, yeah, I'm really excited.
for the season of New Jersey.
But here's the thing.
Like, I hope it's not something that happens, like, in, like, the 10th episode.
You know what I mean?
Like, I need to know, like, now.
Okay.
I haven't watched the premiere yet.
I might watch it this weekend.
We do have our screeners.
But I have heard from people who have watched it.
I've heard from people who have watched it that the season premiere is very explosive.
I don't know in what way because I have not.
Can I just ask, is anyone ever surprised that Jersey brings everything?
Jersey is, I've said this, my favorite, you know, I guess talk about Miami, but Miami doesn't
count.
Obviously, Jersey has been my favorite since day one.
It is so effing good.
It is, of course, I don't want like things to happen, like what happened between Jack and
trees.
Like, I don't know the details, but, you know, it is real people's lives.
Okay.
And I just enjoy the drama.
We're all going to watch the season.
We'll see what happens.
But yeah, I'm excited that the early word on the street is that it's going to be a good season.
Word on the street is.
We need it.
Okay, let's talk about Summerhouse.
This episode, I don't know.
I'm already sick of hearing about Luke.
I'll be honest.
Yeah, I was like, when is this over?
But then we got into it.
But with the love triangle, I was like, I've never been more over something.
in my life. So I feel like last on the season premiere, we, we were very much, you know,
dipping our toes into the pool. Nothing really that important happened. I feel like, you know,
everybody's moving in. Everybody's been quarantined. We're kind of getting the lay of the land.
And then Luke comes at the end and, you know, Hannah has a little internal, I guess, turmoil about
seeing Sierra for the first time. But overall, like, things were pretty chill for.
for the first episode, and we are immediately into high drama with this love triangle,
because we have, I love the dichotomy of who's pulling who aside this week.
So we have Paige is pulling Sierra aside, and we have Hannah pulling Sierra aside,
and Lindsay talking to Luke.
And it's like, everybody is very, there are a lot of cooks in the kitchen when it comes to figuring out
what is going on with Luke.
Yeah, but then we have,
we'll talk about the details of the dinner after
because that was absolutely amazing.
But we have Hannah asking to pull Luke and Sierra to the side
because she wants to clear the air.
I know there's, I'm like, whoa, how many points of the trip?
We mean sitting on a couch like 10 feet away
from where everyone else is hanging out.
They're not going into a different room.
Oh, yeah.
So first of all, backtrack a little bit.
The conversation between Hannah and Sierra was kind of
awkward where Hannah knocked on her door and she's like, can I come in and then just started like grilling.
And I was like, this is so weird. But Sierra had a point. She's like, I don't know this girl.
Like, is she making shit up? Is she just trying to make like me look bad? Like, I don't know. So the
conversation between the three of them, Luke stayed very calm. I have to say. I feel like he is just a calm person in general.
And I'm sorry. I'm sorry. No one come for me. But at this very moment when Luke said we weren't dating Hannah,
I kind of was on team Luke because we've talked about this even last episode.
We didn't think they were dating.
I mean, it is upsetting because it's to Hannah's defense.
Everyone has a different outlook on what's going on.
But I will say throughout this whole, throughout this whole thing, I don't think they were
in a relationship.
I don't think they were any kind of official anything.
But I don't, to me, like, I think Hannah's.
emotions about Luke and her feelings toward him are coming from a very genuine place.
So I don't think she's just like trying to start shit. I just think that they are on a different
page and she has, she's made it into something where her expectations are too high and she has
set herself up for disappointment because Luke is just not in that place. And it's hard because
I think we've all been there. I mean, I have totally been in that situation where there's somebody
that I really like, and we definitely have been talking and we're like maybe somewhat of a thing.
But if I'm telling myself that that person is like my boyfriend or that we're in a relationship
or there's like commitment there, that's in my head. And just because the feelings are real doesn't
mean that the situation is the way that I feel. And that's the problem with relationships and
why communication is such a key point because you have to talk about where you are in the
relationship and not just make it up in your head because I did get why she got upset and she was
like you called me every day and he was like we were friends Hannah and like so you kind of see both
sides of that because that's true but at the same point like they they should have 100% had a
conversation been like what are we as opposed to Hannah just like hey we talk every day like we're
dating like that's my guy right to be honest like hearing see is hearing Sierra side of it like she went
to Minnesota, she met his parents.
Seems like she's been in the picture for a few years.
And then when Hannah said, I've never heard your name before, I was like,
ooh, dig.
And Sierra was like, I've heard yours.
I want to go back to the conversation that Hannah and Sierra had because I thought it was
really interesting that there's like this weird tension between them.
But then Hannah almost kind of tries to flip that into both of them being mad at Luke.
Because she's like, well.
Sierra's like, I'm just here for a good time.
Hannah's like, we were dating last summer and Luke was talking to you.
So he was playing both of us.
And Sierra's, I like that Sierra is like, she's like playing along, but also like you said,
she's like a little bit like, I don't really, like, I don't know.
She doesn't know who to trust.
I mean, she, it's the kind of thing where I think she's in an interesting position because,
I mean, just like Hannah, Luke is not her.
boyfriend, Luke, she's not dating Luke, like she doesn't have any commitment with him, but there is
all this history. There is maybe potential for something more. So she's kind of in a tricky spot because
if Hannah's getting friend zoned, then that's kind of the end of it, whereas Sierra still has to
figure out like, do I want to get with this guy again? Yeah. I mean, it is fucked up that Luke is
texting them both, but he's texting them both completely different things. Like he's saying,
all right, good night, Burn Dog, again.
And then he's like to Sierra like, good night, gorgeous.
And I'm like, and then he like, text him in the morning too.
It was like, happy Saturday.
I was like, dude, you're in the same house.
Just like go say hello.
It's like so bizarre.
Yeah, the text, the constantly texting is a little weird to me.
It's like, I get if you're not like cuddling in the bed, it's not that weird to like send.
Like, I text my roommates all the time, but I'm not like, good morning.
Do you?
Happy Friday.
This reminds me exactly what would happen to me in college where,
obviously the guy or guys or multiple
whoever you're hooking up with like what she got a roster
yeah whoever you're no but because at first I was saying guy or guys because
multiple then I was like no or girls whoever you're hooked up with
would you'd be at the same bar don't talk the entire night
and then leave at 2 a.m you're like and why didn't I see you yeah or want to come over
and it's like we were like we could have saved a cab ride like are you kidding
Hello?
Yeah, the relationship dynamics in the house are interesting this year.
I, like, Paige and Amanda are very stressed about the situation with Hannah and they are kind of,
I feel like there needs to be like a little bit of a come to Jesus moment.
Just because I mean, we're two episodes in.
It is going to be a very long season if this love triangle persists.
And based on, honestly, based on what Luke is saying at the end of the same,
episode, there's no reason it should persist because I'm sorry, like, as much as getting friend
zoned sucks, that should be enough to kind of end the suspense, you know? Yeah. Or just honestly,
just have a threesome, go all in and then like figure it out. But I do have to say that
you just chose chaos. Yeah. Sorry, Paige's outlook was really funny when she was like,
Luke, look out, because when you get girls together, you have no idea what they're going to
find out. And I was like, that is very, very true. I will say, I do think Luke is in a precarious
position because he just is like, he's trying to do a little too much. And I feel like it's
not going to end well for him. Speaking of things that won't end well, Lindsay and Stephen's
relationship just seems like, I don't think we've seen anything positive from them so far.
I don't like him.
And that's a judgment of not even knowing somebody because like he's just not my, he's not my, I don't want to say cup of tea.
He's definitely, I don't, and I don't know him, but his personality and his vibes are definitely not someone that I would get along with.
Like I could tell that already.
I feel like he's that first episode when he was like making the rules about cleaning in the bedrooms.
I was like this would I would I would blow up because that I just he talks down to people and I did really didn't it really actually got me mad the first episode.
But this one too like I didn't mind him going in the room and and working and taking a phone call.
Like I actually think that's not a bad thing to happen because him and Lindsay have been together so long.
It's quarantine couples need their space and whatever.
So I actually didn't mind that.
But him again, talking to.
down and been like get me a drink or like make me a sandwich.
That is so weird.
What?
Because it's like, yeah, like if you're in back to back calls, it's one thing to say like,
hey, like I'm like I don't have time to like, you know, go eat lunch.
Like would it like would you mind?
Would it be possible for you to get me a sandwich?
Like it's not the request.
It's the way in which it was asked that it's like it would be nice if you made me a sandwich.
And it's like, what?
Lindsay was laughing.
She like went to Danielle and she's like he's acting like he's like he's busier than me.
Yeah, I do think it's tough.
Like I don't know exactly if this is like unexpected how busy he is or if Lindsay's just kind of like more annoyed with him than she thought she would be.
I do feel like it's it's a little unfair to be like angry at someone for doing what's expected of them for their job.
But at the same time it's like, you know, he chose to come to the house and be on the show.
And if there's not like time for him to really participate,
then it's kind of like you probably should have just stayed home.
I guess.
I guess.
But at the same time,
like it's not like they went to on vacation for a week or a weekend
where they had like limited amount of time.
They are in the house 24-7 for six weeks.
So I feel like it's okay for him to.
But then, yeah,
but then he would,
he almost made it seem like he didn't want to participate in any of the things they were doing.

We have to talk about Paige and Perry because
Even my friends text me like I've talked about before and they're like, why did they break up?
And I was like, I don't know.
Where she's like, watch the show.
He got like pushy and she like face time.
He facetimeed her and she was like, I forgot I had a boyfriend and I always feel bad.
I'm like, Perry's so cute.
Like. Yeah.
I mean, to me it's just like obvious that they're not on the same page about their relationship.
It seemed that way last year too.
She seems like annoyed by his presence and it's like, okay, that's fine.
break up with him. We do see Carl's sweet mother Sharon gets married on Zoom and this was such a nice
moment. I love that everyone in the house got dressed up and watched it together. That was just so nice.
We've seen Sharon go through a lot with her divorce and stuff on the show and we know Carl is a mama's boy.
And I mean, it's sad that he couldn't be there, but I'm glad that we got to see it on the show.
Yeah, I actually restarted Summer House the other day just to like,
revamp and kind of just like freshen up.
And I saw the episode yesterday where the moms came and she got like upset and
talked to Carl.
And I loved that vulnerable moment where Carl was like hugging his mom and making her feel
better.
And this episode was so sweet.
It was really upsetting, obviously, that he couldn't be there.
But we know why.
So it's not like he just chose not to.
And then they had a Dom Perry own toast and they all got like all dressed up and like
and FaceTime them after.
and I just hear cheers to Sharon and Lou.
Is that his name Lou?
Yeah, Lou.
Like they look so sweet.
I know.
I'm so happy.
There was a picture.
I think he posted on Instagram or someone did.
And she's there in the church and she's standing on a step because like she's so like little.
So she's standing like one step higher next to him.
So that was a nice moment.
And then I also really did enjoy for Kyle's birthday because.
they can't have a crazy party. Amanda planned a like pretend restaurant, the send it grill,
and she gave instructions and everybody else in the house had like a role to play in this restaurant.
And I thought this was so cute. Like the way they, the way they put it together, I just thought
it was really nice. I was like extremely impressed how this went down. Page was the hostess.
They did really well. Hannah was the executive chef who later got replaced. Carlito was the Somali.
like they really, they went all out.
Danielle was a general manager.
I liked that everyone was really like down to play along with this because it could have been really dumb, but it actually turned out to be like very sweet.
They took it very seriously and we're getting like mad at each other.
Like someone like, like, thank Stephen was like, no, you have to clean the edges of the plate.
And then Lindsay was like, I go, someone wanted to clear their drinks.
And she's like, no, you can't clean it yet.
Like you need to slow it down.
Like, we need to break.
Like they were actually acting like they were in a real restaurant.
The funniest part was how far apart Amanda and Kyle were because they used that downstairs table.
That table was ridiculous.
But I loved seeing that Kyle was so appreciative and like really loved it.
I think it was what he said is 36th birthday.
Which when you listen to our episode with Carl and Lindsay,
Carl even pointed out that he was 30 when the show started.
So that's like to put in perspective how long we've been watching and how in different points of their lives they are in right now.
but they keep talking about their wedding and dropping.
Well, yeah.
So, I mean, we see in the preview for the season,
it looks like they get married at the house.
I don't know if that's like real, like,
or if it's just like some like fun, dumb thing that they do.
But their wedding was supposed to be in September 2020,
which was like right after they were filming.
And that got postponed.
And they were talking on the phone about June 2020.
But I don't know.
Yeah.
I mean like at this point, they've been engaged for what?
Three years, two years?
I don't even know.
Longer than I have.
How long have you been engaged?
Exactly.
Like longer than I've been engaged.
That's fine.
I feel like at this point though, they, it's almost like a blessing because it had become
this thing of like, oh, they're never going to get married.
And then now because of COVID, it's like, yeah, it makes sense.
Well, that's another thing.
They're delaying their wedding.
I'm watching.
since I'm watching the old episodes, it's, like, really hard to watch, like, pre-Amanda and Kyle, like, actually dating and, like, together.
But we have to call this out. Amanda is one of the OGs.
Amanda's been on Summer House since season one.
She just hasn't been, like, a cast member.
I mean, she was on Summer House season one in the way that Catherine was on Southern Charm season one, like, coming around and, like, you kind of are like, okay, like, who's this girl?
like she wasn't on the show.
I know, but we've known her since season one.
So it's not like, whatever.
They have gone through some times.
Yeah, it's pretty brutal to watch like on television.
I just watched the first couple seasons like last year.
So it's, it's somewhat fresh in my mind.
And the work is circus.
Like I'm like honestly at the beginning when they didn't come back,
I was like, no, like they make such good TV.
And then watching it back, I'm like, God damn, they are annoying.
Holy crap.
But I wish them well.
Lauren was the kind of person who like,
she had a big personality on the show.
So when you, when you thought of Summerhouse, you were like, oh, like,
Lauren's kind of the star, but like, that wasn't necessarily a good thing.
Like, just because you're the loudest person in the cast doesn't mean that you're like,
the favorite.
That's actually very true.
Yeah, no.
But, and also then Ashley left and like, you need twins.
Like, if you're going to have one, you need to have both.
Like, that's just, I feel like they came in like a package deal.
But moving on, we, we're, that was like season.
one and two, so we're good.
Or one.
Yeah, I don't know.
I'm just hoping that we can,
we can move past this Luke issue.
I know we're not going to move past it entirely because Luke's not leaving the show,
but I don't.
His beard did.
Thank God.
I hope not every episode is going to be a back and forth about Luke because I want,
I want everyone else to get a little attention.
You know what would be a really cool thing to happen.
if you got, if the single people got to choose, actually anyone, just a guest in general,
to come for like a weekend and quarantine before. So like you can have a hookup or a visitor come like
for the weekend. That's so romantic. Yeah, I'm going to text somebody that I have a crush on and be like,
hello, would you like to quarantine for two weeks? So then maybe after that we can have sex.
I mean, listen, we have to do anything we could think of.
right now in these times to get it in, you know?
Well, we will be back next week on Tuesday because Monday is a holiday.
So we'll be back on Tuesday with another episode.
In the meantime, don't forget to rate, review, subscribe, follow us on Instagram at Bravo
by Betches and be cool.
We all like uncool.
