everyone, welcome back to the Mention It All podcast.
O.C. is back for season 20,
and so we had to get one of our favorite housewives in here to talk about it all.
Heather Dubrow, welcome to the show.
Hi.
How are you doing?
How are you doing?
I'm so glad to have O.C. back in our lives.
Thank you.
It's season 20. It's your 10th season.
Isn't that weird?
Lots of milestones, lots of accomplishments.
How has this summer been for you so far?
So far, so good.
I mean, the show is doing really well.
And I think people are really enjoying, I mean, the petty drama and the camaraderie and the nostalgia, having Vicky back and all of that.
The summer's insane.
Yeah.
It's totally insane, especially this summer.
A lot of moving parts were kind of moving and I'm redoing this apartment and all the kids are going in 12 directions, you know.
Is this the apartment in L.A.?
Yes.
So, you know, that apartment we bought?
Yes.
I bought the one underneath it.
And I'm gutting that one.
Okay.
It's so cool.
This is, I'm telling you, because remember we bought that house in Beverly Hills?
Do you remember this?
Yes.
And then we lost our shirts on it.
Right, right.
Because the fires and then whatever.
So I had worked with this designer, Max Nobel, that I love.
And the only reason I was bummed about not doing that home is because I wanted to work
with him so badly.
And so we're doing this apartment together.
Okay.
It all comes back around.
It does.
I love that, though.
How do you feel like, do you feel like, do you feel like, sex?
spending more time in L.A. now? Or do you feel like pulled back to Orange County more? Like,
how has that been for you the last few years kind of shifting where you're spending a lot of your time?
I mean, you know, life gets fluxy, right? So I'm from New York. Right. And when I first moved to L.A.,
you know, I was back and forth all the time. And over the last 30-something years, I have gone back and
I go through periods of time where I'm back in New York a lot.
And I'll go, maybe we should buy a place here.
Like I love being here, although the Pietater Tax kind of screwed that over for us.
But sorry, true.
But with Orange County, you know, we were there for 17 years.
And I love being back in L.A.
Because I lived there for so long.
And we're at a different stage of our life.
But there definitely is a poll in Newport.
We tried to buy a couple of houses there, and it just didn't work out.
I wouldn't be surprised if we ended up with a little beachy something there.
A little beachy something.
Yeah.
That sounds nice.
I was, I kind of couldn't believe when I was looking.
Your first stint on Housewives was five seasons.
And now this is your fifth season since coming back.
What does it feel like having those two now kind of equal periods?
Does it feel similar?
Does it feel different?
How are you, how do you kind of mentally put those?
those two next to each other.
I mean, the journey's been so long.
I started the show when my youngest child was nine months old.
Crazy.
And he just got his learner's permit.
He's going to be 16 in December.
So I've been a part of the show for like 15 years.
And the first five, I had no clue what I was getting into.
I mean, flying blind, maybe it was better that way.
I mean, my pain for your pleasure.
And then I was gone for four seasons.
Yeah.
But because of the pandemic, that equated to five years and now back for five years.
So it's been like on for five, off for five, on for five.
So strange.
But I think each of those five-year periods were their own very specific chapter in my life.
And I love them all.
This one was a little different.
You know, the reason, and I think you and I've talked about this,
but the reason I came back is because I really thought, okay, let's go show our
our family, our very normal family,
and maybe we could start conversations
and other people's family
and use this platform for good.
And even in a small way,
I feel like we've been able to do that
and I'm so proud of that.
This season in particular,
I think I got to a point
where I just,
I'm not really a zero F's given person,
but if I could be that person,
I might have gone there.
We're getting the closest to the floor.
I think so. I mean, who knows. Who knows what may happen, but we're here now.
Well, I feel like with, I mean, obviously with this season, you've been on, you know,
you've been a part of the show for such a long time. Tamara's been around, you know, for ages.
Shannon's been on a long time. Vicki's back this year.
Gina and Emily now have really been veterans of this show. You know, they've been around for
the better part of a decade. It feels, obviously, there are some newer pieces of the puzzle,
but it does feel like we have this group where there are a lot of dynamics now that we've been
watching kind of ebb and flow over several years or longer.
And it does kind of feel like, okay, if people still think I'm a, you know, surface level friend
or two-faced or whatever the like, you know, buzzwords are this season, at a certain point,
it's like, it is what it is.
I've been here for 15 years, like.
A hundred percent.
I mean, you look at all the friendships and you're right.
And I think, you know, when I came back season 16, this group was not cohesive.
Yes.
And I think everyone agrees on that.
And, you know, sometimes we've been on 20 years.
I mean, sometimes you lose the plot a little bit.
But our group now is such a cohesive friend group.
And you're right.
Everyone is very, you know, intertwined and has all their things.
I don't know.
I mean, don't you think that matters?
I do.
I do.
Because I think with this season, I mean, even Vicky coming back to the show and it's been like, you know, eight years or something since she's been a housewife, it feels like there are certain dynamics where you're kind of just picking back up the old thread and, you know, finding it again.
and it doesn't feel like, oh, it takes five episodes to kind of figure out how do people know each other this year?
Right, right, right.
I think one of the hardest things for me with the whole friendship vibe and we have all this history together is I think there's different rules for different people, which you can see so far.
I think I'm combating.
You know, like with Tamara, people want to constantly, you know, try to define my relationship with Tamara.
Tamara and I love each other.
We've been friends a very long time.
We have been at odds with each other over the years,
but we always find our way back to each other.
And that bothers people.
However, I said to Tamara, when we went to dye the silk things,
I said to Tamara, I go, you and Vicky have said horrible things about each other
over the last few years.
How do you just move on?
And she goes, you know, we've been friends a long time.
You find your way back.
And everyone, when they hear that, they go, yeah, right.
But for some reason, that bothers them with me and Tamara.
And I don't know why that is.
Yeah, because that's, I mean, in these first couple episodes of the season, in particular,
Jen, it feels like has a lot of, she really is like trying to compute how you and Tamara,
because, but you've said, you've said something.
You were talking after the reunion or whatever.
And like, yeah, there is a kind of thing of like, if we both say that we're good,
then maybe there doesn't need to be.
more investigating done.
Yeah, look, we always go out for dinner after the reunion, and we always debrief on what happens.
But there was not, like, days and weeks and months of chatter.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, you're supposed to, like, debrief, vent, drink too much, and move on.
That's the point of the dinner.
You're like, that dinner is a very specific cathartic.
And by the way, we've been doing it for 15 years.
like yeah no it was it was interesting to see like the the footage of when you and jen were together
and she was kind of like seeking this information about ter because then later she's like
well why did you tell me and it's like because you were because you were asking a lot what's hard
for that and i was going to save it for the reunion but the truth is um jen and i had been talking on
the phone and we had dinner with our husbands and tamer
never came up once. Not once. We had a lovely time. We had a great time. And that's why you see
me say to her like, I want you to be my buddy because I really felt like our friendship was going to
this other level. But as soon as cameras picked back up, it was, why are you friends with Tamara?
And how can you be friends with Tamara? And how are you going to handle this? And it was like,
whoa, where'd that come from? And then for her to go tell Tamara, she talks about you. It's like,
it's like I talk about Heather when somebody asks me what I think about Heather
I'm obsessed you know it was a little bit of gaslighting yeah well I think also there is it does
feel like there is this cycle with OC where it's like every season either there's a new version
we're getting a new version of Tamara Tamara Tamara's on a healing journey people are deciding whether
or not they want to keep a relationship with Tamara are they going to forgive Tamara and at a certain
point it's like she is who she is but that's the whole thing it's like you know and i think i said this
in season 17 everyone had a problem with me and i i kept saying when you like someone and you love someone
you care about them you kind of accept their foibles and their idiosyncrasies and all those things
and you enjoy them for the for the fun good parts right but when you don't like someone you're just
leaning into that stuff. Right. It's easy to find those things to pick out when you aren't looking
at someone in a favorable light. Yeah. This episode is brought to you by Accenture. When your

I feel like your relationship with Gina has kind of, it's, you know, it's one of those relationships
where you guys clearly have stuff in common. You enjoy each other. But then there are those
little moments where it's like, Gina and I, Gina, we go through some stuff this season, but I love
Gina. Yeah. Like she, I mean, I would say out of everyone in our cast, I talk to Tamara and
Gina the most. It's interesting because Gina, like I said, she's been on the show quite a while now,
but she's gone through so many big life ups and downs in her time on the show. And it almost feels
like this season is maybe the most together. Everything has been for her with, you know, her
relationship and, you know, the situation with Travis and his ex. That was a whole thing. Obviously,
we watched her situation with Matt in the past. Like, it's, it's, it.
It feels like Gina's just kind of like good, which is nice.
It's great.
You know, I wasn't around.
I didn't know her when she was sort of at that very low point in the DUI and all that sort of thing.
So when I met her, she was in her rebuilding phase.
She is a very smart person.
She's really smart.
She's really together.
Her parents are amazing.
She had a very strong foundation.
there's just so much about her that's solid.
Yeah.
Well, and I feel like too, you know, there are so many people who come on to reality TV or,
you know, some level of, you know, fame, notoriety, whatever.
And kind of the second they get it, they are like, okay, how do I spin this?
How do I do something bigger?
And I feel like Gina has kind of stayed within herself in a way that is, I think, kind of admirable
over, you know, building up, it's like not, if you don't have the,
$10 million house, then don't buy the $10 million.
You know, if you don't, it feels like she has kind of like steadily built a foundation for
herself in a way that not everyone does.
Well, you know, people get on these shows, whether it's housewives or The Bachelor or,
you know, Summer House, whatever it is, and they want to monetize.
Yeah.
They want to, but times are different now, right?
So they want to get on there and start.
My joke is, is that everyone wants to sell a trucker hat.
And I know trucker hats are back now.
whatever, sorry to trucker hats.
But when I first joined the show in season seven,
everyone had these trucker hats and everyone had like a line of trucker hats.
And I thought,
I'm going to put my catchphrase on a trucker hats.
And I thought it was so funny and I did not understand the trucker hats.
So now that's how I referred to it.
It's like everyone wants to come on, be there for two minutes and sell their trucker hats.
And the truth is, first of all, you got to settle in.
and you don't decide what your thing is on the show.
The audience does.
Yes.
Right?
Because you might think you're the classy one,
but if you're vomiting in the bushes all the time, you're not.
And then you need a different slogan on your trucker hat.
Right.
It's like you have to let something become a thing before you are turning around and making it a brand.
Yes, case in point, my mother.
God bless my mother.
We're seeing a little more of your mother.
Oh, and you will see more.
On this season, it's been such a long time that you guys have been far apart.
She's been on the East Coast.
You've been in California.
What is it like at this point in your life to be able to have that closer distance relationship?
How has it been kind of navigating that, knowing that you're like a full adult and that's a big change?
I think it's great that she's in L.A.
My sister and I really wanted her out there
because when my dad had gotten sick,
you know, I was flying back to New York
and helping with doctors
and doing all these things.
And so she's 84 and time to, you know,
be closer to us so we can help out.
The truth is she moved here and there,
I'm in New York right now,
she moved there and all of a sudden,
but she was traveling.
So I didn't feel like she was there.
But she's so funny.
Like she'll be in town for one day and go, I'm here.
Like, where is everyone according to her schedule?
But I feel like we went out to dinner the other night and we had a conversation about digging in.
Because you saw on the show, you know, I said to her, I go, what's the plan?
You're going to join a bridge group or are you going to get involved in the art scene in L.A.
You need to make friends.
You need, you know, a life.
Yeah.
And so I think finally she's ready to start doing that.
That's great.
Yeah.
I mean, it's hard to see when people are getting older, whether it's grandparents,
parents, whatever.
Like, you have to keep that, you have to keep, like, having stuff around you in your life
because it's, I think it's easy to kind of slide into the, like, well, I just, like, I don't know,
sit at home and.
My mom is really good at being alone.
Like, she is, she's good.
She'll travel by herself.
she'll go out to a restaurant and have dinner by yourself.
She enjoys it.
I am so not like that.
I like people.
I want to chat.
I want to, yeah.
I think it's, it must be interesting for you, though.
Obviously, she's appeared on the show before,
but having that more of like the, you know,
ongoing kind of dialogue across the season with her
and that the way that she, you know, responds to things
or the things that you say to each other,
other people might not always click exactly.
with what your relationship is.
Like that how do you feel at all like,
I don't know,
anxious about kind of sharing more of that dynamic?
Yes.
Are you kidding?
I was horrified.
I was like,
what is going to come out of her mouth?
She has a little bit of revisionist history.
But what I will tell you is she's been on the show before twice.
Yeah.
Once years ago when we were in part of our art of,
I think for Tamara's Bachelorette.
Oh my gosh.
My mom and dad came to a restaurant.
and that was fine.
And then she was on a few years ago, and that did not go well.
Yeah.
And she was not received well, and that was really hard for her.
And, you know, it's a bummer because she really is fabulous.
She's a really elegant, chic, cool, smart, talented person.
And I'm glad the audience will get to see a bit more of that.
But it's a complicated relationship.
She's very 1950s.
She's very sweet things under the rug.
I am sensitive.
Diary of the mouth.
Let's talk about things.
So that doesn't always work out together.
But I will tell you, I have been flooded with messages.
Oh my gosh, that's my mom.
Oh, my gosh.
That's the relationship.
I have.
And I love that.
That's great.
Well, I think similar, I mean, kind of on the opposite end, when you were talking about
coming back to the show and showing your family.
and, you know, showing that it's, everything is normal and all of that.
Like, parental relationships go that way, too, where if people have complicated situations
or are dealing with parents getting older and all of that, like, people can,
people can find themselves in, in everybody's different scenario.
And I think it's cool to just, like, add another layer to kind of your life that is unfolding
in front of us.
It's fun.
It's very frustrating.
Stay tuned.
I can imagine. Look, if my mom and I had to do reality TV together, I think there would be some bumps in the road.
Andy Cohen says to me, he's like, did you create a monster with your mother? I'm like, yep.
Well, yeah, I mean, we've had some moms over the years on housewives who have not always been the easiest to deal with.
No, I just mean she loves it. It's like what I did with Terry. Terry loves it. My mother loves it. They love it.
I'm curious
Obviously you and Vicky
Have known each other for such a long time now
This is the first season that you guys have been on together really
In like 10 years I think
Yeah
Because you left in 11 and then she left after 13
And then was gone when you came back
Before anything that happened this season
What was your kind of initial feeling
At BravoCon?
She gets that orange on stage
It was such a moment
Were you in?
anticipating that at all? What was what was going through your mind thinking okay season 20 Vicky's back
that's something to to deal with? I actually I got chills like I got a teary it was really nice
you know at our base and I always feel this way we are a sorority. We really are we are sisters
and you know sometimes you fight with your sisters and whatever but you love them and I was
thrilled for her so excited but man she can turn something around so I
I texted her.
She said this in last week.
I wanted, yes.
Is that this week's or last week?
Oh, we already saw it.
Yeah.
Okay.
So, she, I said, I sent her a text.
Uh-huh.
Like a super nice text just saying, welcome back.
Mm-hmm.
So excited.
Something, something.
Just like that.
And she goes in her confessional and she says,
Heather sent me a text saying,
um, so excited you're back and I'm the top dog.
Yeah, I think she's the leader of the pack.
I'm the leader of the pack.
By the way, I'll show you the text message.
First of all, can you imagine me ever texting that?
That's so ridiculous.
I never said that.
It was so crazy.
And then Tamara was on Watch What Happens Live last week.
And they did a poll.
Who's the leader of the pack?
And I'd just like to say I won by 53%.
Well, you know.
So thanks for putting that out there, Vicky,
so we could just solidify the answer.
I mean, but it's like, in 20 years, Vicky has not changed a bit.
I would never, not only would I never say that.
I don't feel that way.
I truly, when I talk about the show in those terms, I feel this way.
I feel like Vicky is the OG.
But I feel like Tamara is Orange County.
That is how I feel.
Well, I think, I mean, going what I was saying before about how so many of you on the show,
I mean, really everyone, but I mean, Carmel is brand new, but even Jen has been around long enough now to really feel like part of the
group. Like, you guys have all built it to where it is now in your own ways that I think it's like,
you know, you can like rank people if, if you need some clicks on Twitter or whatever. But it's like
everybody's, everybody's here for a reason. Yeah, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts,
man. You know, everyone's got to be good. There was drama on Vanderpump rules like way back of over
who was the number one guy in the group. That was like, so lame. They were like arguing about it.
Did they arm wrestle for it?
But obviously, you know, you and Vicky have a lot of history.
Yeah.
And now that you guys are back in this rhythm of doing the show together, I mean, we start the season and you have feelings about a comment that she made about you and Terry inheriting money, which is just, when did that, when did you become aware of that and like how just walk me through kind of your.
your feelings about that whole thing.
She said it,
she said it a couple of times.
Okay.
And it's been said,
not often.
And so honestly,
I roll my eyes.
Terry was pissed.
And he really doesn't get angry
about many things.
So when you saw my,
you know,
reaction to her,
it's based on the fact
that my husband is really annoyed
and upset about it.
So here's the bottom line.
You know, Terry and I have mothers who are both alive.
Had there been any money from deceased relatives, it would live with them.
And then maybe if that money actually existed, and we didn't support everyone,
then that would come to us when they die.
But none of that happened.
And this whole thing about my late brother-in-law, Kevin, who I loved dearly,
and I don't want to, you know,
desegrate his memory in any way,
but he was in a rock band in the 80s,
and his biggest hit was come on feel the noise,
which he didn't write.
It was a remake of a song,
and so they didn't make money off that song,
and this is a long time.
I mean, there just wasn't anything there.
Yeah, and I mean,
that's the kind of thing where
if some faceless person on Reddit has a theory about something, that's one thing.
But when it's somebody that you've known for...
But she keeps doubling down on it.
She keeps going a podcast and saying, well, doctors don't live in $50 million homes.
Look, here's the thing.
I mean, Terry and I, we have been very honest about stuff that's happened to us.
We got swindled out of $2 million.
We got fucked.
Can I say, can I curse?
We got fucked in 080.
2009 in that crash and we, you know, so many things.
However, we are a very good team and we are a very good financial partners.
And we have done well, thankfully, between our real estate and our investments
and our product line for the last 12 years, 10 years, which has been really lucrative.
And, you know, am I supposed to apologize for being more?
clever than Vicky? And you've both made hundreds of episodes of television. I mean, it's all of the,
all of those things. But it's all, I mean, honestly, it's what we've done with that money and
the ancillary businesses that have taken us where we are. And hey, we did okay. And you can't
take that away from me. I mean, you, but you didn't spend 12 hours a day selling insurance.
No, but here's the thing.
It can't be that pure.
I mean, listen, she is a very hard worker and she's a very successful woman.
I think what bothers me the most about it is as a successful woman, why does she need to look at another successful woman, successful couple and try to poke holes in that boat?
Does it make her feel better about herself?
Oh, well, they have done better.
than me because someone gave them the money. Trust me, I would love it if someone left us money.
And if someone wants to, I'm here for it. I'll send you the routing number. Yeah.
I mean, it's, it, Vicky coming back is such an interesting moment for this show for kind of the whole
housewives ecosystem because no, I don't think anybody would ever deny that Vicky is like, you know,
a pillar of the housewives community, whatever,
but it is interesting to watch her kind of navigate for herself.
What does it mean to be the OG of the OC who hasn't been on the show as a housewife in
eight years and you're coming back into a group with a lot of people you've known for a
really long time, but things have changed and it's a different equation.
And I think I'm really interested to see over the course of this whole season,
And how does it go for her?
And it could go a lot of different ways.
And it does go a lot of different ways.
It really does.
And, you know, it's a big deal to find your footing.
It was hard for me in season 16.
Things have changed.
The speed of the show has changed.
Yeah.
And yeah, it's not easy.
Yeah, because I remember when it was first announced that you were coming back in season 16,
you know, season 15 was that COVID year.
There were a lot of changes happening.
It was almost like, oh, like, we're casting Heather to save the show.
And that's, obviously, that's like, you know, it's a nice thing to hear people excited.
But also that's like, hey, this is an ensemble.
And I'm one person.
And I don't know what I'm going to be, what the situation is on the ground when I get in there.
Yeah.
Well, I think not one person can save the show.
And that's just the truth.
And so, yeah, great idea of bringing me back.
but as I said before, the hole is greater than the sum of its parts.
And if you've got weak links, it's not going to fire on all cylinders.
Adding Tamara back super smart.
And now I think this season with, you know, what people largely call the core four,
me and Vicky and Tamara and Shannon, I feel like we have some juice back.
Yeah.
And talk to me about.
Carmela a little bit because we're just getting to know her.
She has a very, you know, interesting layered past with her career, her relationship stuff
that we're learning more about.
What was your first impression of her and kind of as she was getting acquainted with the group?
Well, you're going to have to stay tuned for how I felt about that because it definitely comes
up later.
But I will tell you, I think she's great.
She's a really, really nice person.
she's cool and she's zero fucksgiving.
Okay.
In the best way and she's got the nicest kids,
um,
lovely children.
And to me,
when I meet someone and I see their kids and I see the relationship,
that tells me a lot.
And,
and that sort of made me fall in love with her.
Okay.
I'm excited to,
I'm excited to see kind of like how she works her way into all of
different dynamics because there's a lot going on this season and I I'm excited to see it all play
out. It's good. But I think, yeah, it's like you, I mean, with your kids, it's always felt like
you treat them not as adults in terms of like, you know, not having any, you know, boundaries,
but as real people, as, you know, smart people making decisions in their lives. Like, it does
feel like there's that layer of like having that healthy relationship that you've always really
valued. Yeah, you know, my kids, it's, I told you when we started, you know, the youngest
was nine months old and the twins were seven, cat was four. Yeah. It's just insane. It's,
it's one thing that it's like you had young kids, but it's weird to think that all of your kids
were that young. You didn't have any teenagers. You didn't. It was so weird. Think about this.
I had A's and he was nine months old when we started filming. I mean,
I didn't even have clothes because, you know, it was my fourth child like I was eating, you know?
I mean, let's be honest, I ate with all of them.
I'm an actress, you know, you give license to eat for nine months.
I'm not like, I wasn't one of those, you know, modern girls that gains 18 pounds and does Pilates the whole time.
I was sitting on my fat ass at home eating.
Loved it.
Anyway, I would go back.
But, you know, I had Ace and, you know, my body still wasn't, you know,
back to its normal thing. I hadn't really gone shopping. I was scrambling every day to shop and buy
some clothes and, you know, get myself together and take care of my kids and drive them to school
and get to filming. God, it was a lot. Well, I feel like that also was kind of like just when Housewives
was starting to become more like glam-centric. We're getting a little more extravagant in the
confessionals, the reunion looks. And I feel like you always kind of brought that.
vibe of like this dress I'm wearing is like it's a it's not a cheap dress but I'm not going to be
wearing the like I don't need feathers on my outfit to be looking put together. Yeah I feel like I've
always stayed true to my aesthetic right even though some I don't know may think it's boring I think
it's classic well look some people that have taken some swings with their outfits I think
with look back and you're like, yeah, I don't know.
It's a good point.
What was going on there.
I do love, I love going back and looking at like Getty images and sorting from oldest
to newest.
And I mean, you have some of the best on there because there's all the photos from the
sitcom days and everything like that.
Oh, right.
And all the red carpets.
I just, wait, I want to show you this one.
Can we bring back this hair?
That's so funny.
So, all right.
I'm going to tell you exactly.
The updo with like spikes in the back.
I know where.
was going. I was going to a movie. I know where you were going. Where was I going? To Requium for a dream?
It was the Exorcist. The Exorcist. Right. Okay. So, no, I knew it was an Ellen Burstyn movie. I just
couldn't remember which one. So Ellen Burstyn played my mom on a show called That's Life on CBS. Yes.
And this was so funny. So she invites me to go see The Exorcist. Now, Terry saw the Exorcist. He's a lot
older than me back in the day when it first came out in the 70s yeah and he was like
Heather because I don't like scary movies he's like you can't go and I'm like Ellen invited me
I'm going and he's like you can't go you don't understand people didn't sleep for months
they were vomiting in the aisles this is the disaster you cannot go and I'm like I'm going so I get
dressed yeah and this is a ferragamo red jacket and I have this little clutch that it's made out of
film. Oh my gosh, that's film. I think I still have it. That's amazing. I have to look at see
what it is. And then Kelly Klein did my hair and he threw in those little blonde pieces and love Kelly.
And I went to the premiere and Terry went with me. I am sitting next to Ellen. Okay, so it goes,
Ellen, me, Terry. And he has warned me and told me this is a mistake. I'm going to be vomiting and
I'm never sleeping again. So I'm sitting there and I don't know if you've seen the exorcises lately.
it does not hold up.
It's a little hokey.
It's a doll with the spinning head,
and like they're giving the kid riddle in for the possession.
It's so, it's like almost funny, you know, whatever.
And at one point I looked over at Terry and I went,
ooh.
That's, I mean.
It was great, though.
But I did also get to see Requiem for a dream,
and that was brilliant.
I mean, Ellen Burstyn is.
But I do,
but I will say, like,
seeing The Exorcist with Ellen was amazing.
and she's so talented and William Freakin was there.
Like, it was very cool.
Yeah, very Hollywood.
Very Hollywood moment.
That's a crowd.
I went up to him to say hi and he was like, not that perceptive.
But you know, if people want to make light of your Hollywood days.
There it is.
I love that.
Well, I mean, what better way to end?
Thank you for sharing that story.
Yeah.
I love that.
Heather, always a great time to chat with you.
Congrats on season 20.
Thanks. I'll see you tomorrow for Shamps.
For Shamps, as always.
