Mention It All - Where Does RHUGT Go From Here? Plus RHOA's Renaissance & RHOC's Milestone Flop Ft. Gibson Johns

Episode Date: September 1, 2026

On this Tuesday episode, Dylan is joined by Gibson Johns to break down the current state of Bravo. They start with RHOC Season 20 and why the season is falling flat, whether Bravo may have outgrown Vi...cki Gunvalson, and why her return on both Orange County and Ultimate Girls Trip just isn’t hitting the way it should. Then, they get into RHOBH casting, Tracy Tutor joining the group, and whether Crystal Kung Minkoff could be ready for a return. (Also FYI, this was recorded just a few hours before the Leah Remini casting announcement so she is not mentioned for they are not psychic.) From there, Dylan and Gibson dive into the RHOA reunion, Porsha’s importance to the franchise, and why Cynthia Bailey may have found the perfect Housewives role. Finally, they look back at the women who have represented Bravo over the years, why Ramona is unlikely to ever be that face again, and what the future of Ultimate Girls Trip should look like, including why Bravo may need to take the concept beyond Housewives. I am so excited to be here today with a good friend and a fellow Bravo podcaster of mine, Gibson Johns.
Starting point is 00:00:43 Hello. Always happy to be here. I'm always happy to be Gavin with Gibb. Always. Discussing with Dylan. That's the next, that's the next spin-off. Period. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:00:55 How are you? How's your summer been? It's been good. You and I are always texting and catching up about what's happening on Bravo, but I feel like we haven't. I've been on your show. show a little bit. We do our biennial bravo winners and losers.
Starting point is 00:01:10 I love doing it with you. You know who I'm kind of feeling like is a loser right now? Season 20 of O.C. It's so hard. It's a bummer. And it's like at first I try to like give a season a few episodes to like marinate and kind of get it going and it just hasn't really gotten going.
Starting point is 00:01:29 And also like Ultimate Girls who premiered which has been so fun. Yeah. And in comparison to that, it's a little flat. I was really, I feel like the last couple seasons of OC have been a bit of an, like, it's picked up a little bit of steam. Definitely. And it has been just like a bummer that now we're like seven or eight weeks into this. The first trip is happening.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Right. It is not like the early days of the season at this point. And it is just kind of like, oh. just like Vicky going after the new girl. So this is what we've got. Yeah. And Sam Bush, friend of the pod. Fellow, fellow batch.
Starting point is 00:02:12 Exactly. She posted something on threads that like is kind of stuck in my head, which is like, people were begging Tamara to not be a bully anymore to like play down her villainry. And then this is the season we get, you know, when she's a little bit more pulled back. Well, that's the thing with Tamara is that it's like season after season. it's been a narrative of like, is Tamara going to change? Can she change? Has she changed?
Starting point is 00:02:39 Does she want to change? Is she capable of change? And like, obviously, you know, when you've watched somebody over like 18 years on TV, like you probably want there to be some kind of development or evolution. But like also, you don't want that person to evolve away from what makes them good for the show. And I think that Tamara is like such a, she's maybe the top example of somebody where like people hate on her so much for the exact thing that makes her like, necessary.
Starting point is 00:03:14 Yeah, exactly. It was the same with Rina. They're the two people. And but both of them pulling back, because Rina pulled back that one season, like wasn't as good. I forget what season that was. Both of them pulling back shows you that like both of these shows really rely on them to move story and to get.
Starting point is 00:03:31 get things stirred up and like they kind of put all their eggs on basket when it comes to like having that sort of um force multiplier or whatever and like i don't know i don't know she she's probably like yeah i think joselle is another one who gets that same wrap totally i've seen people watching the season of girls trip that are like joselle's doing too much and it's like what else is going on right it's also like okay yeah like she's doing a lot but she's doing what she does best and also like if she wasn't doing that the show would truly just be like a clip package, which again, I would be happy to watch. But like, we needed something and she's the one that's getting stuff moving. Yeah, it is. It's like so fascinating to me how through fate or through maybe planning, I don't know, we're getting
Starting point is 00:04:15 both of the Vicky experiences side by side. And neither of them are really working out. No, and it was one of those things where it's like, for the first few episodes of O.C., I was like, okay, I can do the fun, the funny fun schick like yeah it's nice to have she loves to work totally and like fall down and kind of yell and like whatever and so it landed was landing a little bit differently and then when girl's trip starts and she's doing that around Luan and jazelle and Porsche who just like are like girl what the fuck like don't you want like we're so happy to be here this is such a this is like an honor to do this and so it's like vicky was begging for years to come back to OC, she got her orange back in this incredible moment on Watch It Happens Live.
Starting point is 00:05:00 She is back on OC. She's back on girls' trip at the same time, and she doesn't want to be there. She's acting like she doesn't want to be there. I think it's the double dose of that. Yeah. Really hurts it for me. Well, because I think to me, like, her being back for season 20, if season 20 is not going to be that good kind of with her without her, then it's like, okay, yeah, sure,
Starting point is 00:05:21 whatever. Give her the orange. Like this is, I mean like, I'll speak for myself. I will keep watching this season. I assume that you will as well. And there are, you know, this is, I think safe to say this point in the season, this is not going to be an Orange County season that is like going down in history in like iconic ways. And so, yeah, it's like, okay, whatever.
Starting point is 00:05:47 If we want to have the moment of Vicky getting her orange back, like, I'm not that mad. there can be as many oranges as we want but it is the kind of thing where when you're looking at Girlstrip and it's like oh we have like one representative from all of these iconic franchises and the person who is like in theory the most no-brainer choice of all
Starting point is 00:06:05 the OG of the OC is like kind of by far the worst part of the cast I know it's like oh yeah I have hopes that like she'll tone it down but it's like it's been a lot of Vicky for the past two weeks and it's so interesting because it's not even like, oh, you know, she, she and Luan don't quite have this, their vibe doesn't mesh, or, oh, she had that little tiff with Teresa, or, oh, she, like, had a weird response to Kyle
Starting point is 00:06:35 being emotional about her divorce. It's like, no, it's all of the above. And, you know, it's like, Vicky doesn't get along. Vicki doesn't get along with Jazeel. Vicki doesn't get along with, basically anybody on the, right? No, literally. Oh, like, Lisa, who she hasn't really had a moment with, but it's like, it just feels like, I don't no, she's just not there to have the same level of like engagement and fun as the rest of them. And I feel like I want to have fun with this show. I want the drama, but like I'm not really there for the drama. I actually thought it was really interesting on like a couple episodes ago when Teresa was
Starting point is 00:07:08 confronting her about the comment she had made about like Teresa being overrated. Right. And Vicki at first was kind of like, blah, whatever. And then eventually she sort of changed her tune and was like, I feel like, I feel like, jealous of opportunities that you and other people have had. More of that. Dancing with the Stars. Traders, like all of these other iconic housewives are really getting like the red carpet
Starting point is 00:07:34 rolled out for them in like a pop cultural sense. Whereas like Vicky has sort of spent the last however many years kind of on an island. In Mexico. At her condo. And so it's, yeah, it's like I thought that was an interesting thing for her to admit. But it does feel like. now she has the opportunity and she's kind of shitting the bed. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:55 And I'm also just like, but I want, if you're going to kind of be this way, like, I want more of those admissions at least. You know, like that feels really real to me and that's compelling and like it's behind the facade. Yeah. Because it does feel like she's playing a little bit of a character too, which like, again, they all do, but hers is just like so distinctly more negative than the rest of them that I don't know.
Starting point is 00:08:16 There is a part of me too where I'm like, okay, Vicky was cast on two seasons of Ultimate girls trip before this. One of them we didn't get to see because it was Morocco. But it's like, Vicki's like been totally. She's gotten the call. No, totally. She's not ignored by any means. And like, yeah, but it's, it's funny because I also think about like we've had double doses doses of Porsche for the past three weeks. Yeah. And I love that. I love having a double dose of Porsche Williams. No, like it truly has felt like the more that. Give me more. Yeah, exactly. More is more when it comes to somebody like that. And I think, You know, we're not watching.
Starting point is 00:08:51 We don't have Salt Lake back yet. No. Obviously, you know, Potom, like, none of the other shows are airing right now. But it's like, yeah, everybody else, I feel like so far on Girls Trip has at least, at least given us, like, neutral. Yes. And for the most part, like, positive. Yeah. And if you go down the list, it's like Louis Anton Roney anymore.
Starting point is 00:09:10 So we weren't going to get a double dose of her. With Giselle, it's kind of the same role, which I, it's not negative. It's just pot-surry. Lisa's pretty different on both. So it would have been. it would go down differently. I remember the last time she laughed like this. Teresa, different, I think, on Jersey versus this.
Starting point is 00:09:28 So, like, at least with them, we would have gotten different kind of colors from them. Kyle, the same, but she's not a negative person. So, I don't know. It's just, like, it's the negativity for me that's just not going down smoothly. Yeah, it is, it does feel like more than any other season of girls trip. The point of this season is to be this, like, true celebration of 20 seasons. and it's like truly close the fucking computer. Literally close the computer.
Starting point is 00:09:53 I also think it's... Or at least do emails on your phone. I also think it's like really bizarre for anyone in this sphere to not act like being in the car from Orange County to Beverly Hills on camera is work. Right. Like you are literally on the job right now. So do your emails in the hotel before you get ready. Yeah. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:10:15 Totally agree. That's the other thing. And then when Teresa's coming for her, and she just, like, is like, oh, that's a really good, uh, that's a really good store. They sell good vintage, uh, Valentino there. It is, God, it's like, it's funny, but also I'm like, man, this is annoying. I know, I know. It's so annoying.
Starting point is 00:10:32 And that's why I think that if it was only on one of the shows, I wouldn't have that much of a problem with it. Mm-hmm. I think it's because it's on both. Yeah. It's like, oh, I mean, Osi, it just is, it's. It's tough. And it's like, it's not like they don't, it's not like they don't have a good cast.
Starting point is 00:10:44 You know what I mean? Like going into the season, I was like, this is like, you know, as close as like an OC all-stars you can kind of ask for, you know? It's interesting, though, because I, um, I've had a couple of the OC ladies on the show this season, Gina, Emily Heather. And across the board, they do not want to speak Katie Janella's name. Like, you, you know, they'll allude to last season. They'll allude to changes in the group, whatever. but it's like, oh, we're not, we're not speaking of her. And it is so interesting because, like, I was not like a Katie
Starting point is 00:11:20 apologist last season, but I do think, like, you can't ignore where she was there. There was energy happening. You know, like she was creating story for better or for worse. And it is kind of like, oh, like, maybe you guys need somebody a little more oppositional in the group. Yeah, well, they're missing her. And then they also, the last we forget, the last two seasons, we've had Gretchen and
Starting point is 00:11:42 Alexis. Yeah, you've had like, retic. turning housewives from hell. We've had, but it's like at least they like are people, as you said it, our opposition. And now it just kind of feels like the opposition is Carmela, who's like new and it's just maybe they're representing her job. Like that's not really that big of a scandal to me. And like respectfully to Carmela, like is not that interesting thus far?
Starting point is 00:12:05 No, that's, yeah. In a totally normal way for somebody who's brand new. Exactly. It's like what's all the fuss about from the Vicki's point of view, you know? But it's like they definitely are missing. that person and that's again it's kind of similar to Beverly Hills honestly at this point because like Beverly Hills does need that person too that's why Amanda Francis was actually good for the show last year that's why I'm excited for Tracy Tudor like these women these shows that have like
Starting point is 00:12:25 long established groups of women who have not been separated for a while like who kind of feel like they probably have like a vault of things they won't talk about with each other they'll never acknowledge like you need somebody who will like worm their way in there and be kind of annoying to them and that's the thing it's like Carmela maybe there will be more of that throughout the season, but like, I mean, if Vicky is the main person that's poking at her, then it's kind of like, I don't really need, like, I don't need you to like dig in Vicky's personal life. It's like, he's poking, but she doesn't want to be part of the drama.
Starting point is 00:12:55 Exactly. You know? And then it's like she tried every which angle to get in with Carmela. And when none of them stuck, she went for the kids. And it was like, girl. It's not good. And I think the prevailing thought that I'm like kind of left with, and I'm open to be proven wrong about this from her.
Starting point is 00:13:12 It's just that, like, maybe. Housewives have moved on without Vicky. Yeah. And like there's, there's possibility and there's room for her to sort of catch up and maybe grow a little bit and accept what Housewives has become maybe in the few years that she's been away. But it's not, which I think she's almost frustrated with like the state of Housewives overall because it's not, it has changed and it is constantly evolving.
Starting point is 00:13:34 And that's like the underlying frustration from her. But it's like, the reality is that it's a different show. Right. You know, a lot of the people might be the same, but all the faces might still be there. but like you got to get with the times or kind of like this is what you asked for right like the last time you left the show heather was gone jina and emily were brand new shannon was you know a mess with her divorce or whatever it's like we've we've lived a lot of lives totally yeah yeah and like tamra somebody who like jumped right back in like got up to speed heather i think maybe
Starting point is 00:14:07 took a season to like kind of get figure out like what she was going to be in this second era for herself. Vicky hasn't figured that out yet. It's only been several episodes, I guess, but, like, I don't know if I have, like, full faith in her, like. Yeah. And it's hard to think, like, okay, if the rest of this season goes about how it's gone so far, like, what are we? Yeah. Where are we going from there? It seems like we've established that, like, the full reboot is not a good prospect on Bravo. I think there's definitely some sort of combination of the women that exists on that show. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:40 You know, you take some out, you keep some in. There has to be a way for them to sort of revitalize it. I need Jen Padrondi to wake up a little bit. Yeah, me too. And I think that she has more potential than she's showing us. I think I liked the show better when she and Tamara were fighting. And they're good, they're good adversaries to be honest. Like Jen, like, Jen marching into that hotel room in London, like running through the
Starting point is 00:15:01 hallways to get to Tamara and to confront her. That's like one of the best scenes of the best, like, three seasons. Like maybe Jen is better when she's like, a little broken desperate. Maybe. Maybe she feels like almost too. And you know what? I don't,
Starting point is 00:15:14 I wish her so well. I love Jen. I agree that like from this season though she's not like. And also the Katie thing was always a little bit complicated for her. She was like sort of her friend and that she didn't want to be her friend. Yeah. So there's not that like level of like they're missing a level of person on this show. Two and five Canadians will hear the words you have cancer.

We know Tracy's joining. Yes. We know Morgan Stewart's not joining. Yes. Uh-huh. I am really curious about the potential of a Crystal reentry because she was, she's been on the last couple episodes of Girls Trip.
Starting point is 00:16:51 I thought it was intriguing that Sutton hosted that leather pants party and Crystal was the only other person invited to join. She was at Kyle's White Party. She also is seemingly going to be like somewhat involved in Jeff Lewis still flipping out. She's not like in the cast, but she's featured in the trailer. more than just like a guest on his radio show. Mm-hmm. And I am like, suddenly I'm like, it would be so easy for them to just like invite her around at the start of
Starting point is 00:17:22 filming and see what happens. She said that she's not joining the show, which means she's not going to like hold a diamond. Right. But like I totally agree. It's like it's a no brainer to at least like have her have lunch with Tracy early on. Mm-hmm. Come around like a lunch or a dinner or party. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:39 See what happens. You know what I mean? because I've really been saying, honestly for like a year now, like I just feel like her podcast with Cynthia, being on Jeff Lewis Live a lot, being away from the show, I think has like really emboldened her.
Starting point is 00:17:54 I think she's like found a lot more power in her voice and I don't think she'd be intimidated by the women on the show anymore. And if she had an ally and Tracy, like I could see her being like a force on Beverly Hills again. I think she could be a really fun, like, friend of in the mix. Because also it's just with that show, it's like,
Starting point is 00:18:11 that Amanda's not coming back, it seems like Dorit is coming back. And presumably Erica, Kyle, they were just in Ghana for Boses's wedding, which seeing the like photos and videos of that just. I mean, that really tickled me. Were they? Kathy and her hotel slippers.
Starting point is 00:18:29 They're all the traditional. But and Rachel Zoe obviously joined last season, but it's like, okay, Tracy, Tracy is promising, but it's like, it does feel like that show is in a spot where it's like, you kind of got a, you kind of got to, you kind of got to mix it up a little more than just like, we cast one person. Yeah, no, I totally agree.
Starting point is 00:18:44 And I think, same with OCE. It's like, you can't just have like this like group of like really long time vets. Right. And then like one person. Like that's why Amanda like had no connection to the group last year. There was no hope for her to actually like make it inroads, you know?
Starting point is 00:18:58 I think Tracy has more hope. But, um, they need more than just one person every season to try to like fix this show. Mm-hmm. And, um, yeah, I think that Crystal,
Starting point is 00:19:07 it's like, I don't know. I genuinely think we would see a different crystal. She has said before she doesn't want her marriage to ever be sort of fodder for the show. Being a friend of is the easiest way to ensure that. Totally. And like the idea that like humble brag could be like the two ultimate friends of housewives having a podcast together. It kind of works for me.
Starting point is 00:19:26 I kind of love that. Kind of works for me. I mean, Cynthia Bailey really just had one of the like best seasons that someone has had in a while. And she like really didn't have to get her hands dirty. Like she didn't. No. Her life is not really in the spot. spotlight at all.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Like, we know that she's with, you know, Prince or Amsterdam or whatever. But I'm like, no, this is like kind of ideal. Totally. She still gets second chair when she comes into the reunion. I was living for that. I was living for that. They were like, Fadre scooch.
Starting point is 00:19:54 Yeah, literally, her playing the song was one of the best moments of the entire year on Bravo. I swear to God. Yes. And there's still a little bit of a hint of drama with her and Shemia. Like, I think there's like real feeling there. Yeah, I thought that was so interesting. The look on Cynthia's face was different talking about that than it was with any other
Starting point is 00:20:09 topic. And I think that they hugged, but I kind of think there's more there. They hugged because Andy was like trying to get their little like wrap up in a bow and Shemia was like you know what? Yeah. It was like Shamiya performed the hug. Totally. Totally. And Cynthia
Starting point is 00:20:25 went along with it. It was not like a mutual. It was kind of a middle ground of like, it was definitely a little you know, corny and like performative but also like she kind of ate crow and got up and hugged. You know? I can give her little credit. I feel like Corneum performative is kind of like Shemma.
Starting point is 00:20:41 Totally. Totally. But I think that like with Cynthia, there's, there's something there. I agree. Like that was, that was one where I feel like at a great reunion, obviously there are the big storylines that you know are going to have to be discussed, but there are also little things where it's like, oh, I didn't realize we were quite like, I didn't know that was happening. Totally.
Starting point is 00:21:00 I love when something sort of shows itself and that it tees us up really nicely for the next season. Because I thought the, the, Fadra and Pinky stuff was a little bit like. that too, where Pinky's just like giving her, you know, rehearsed answer about how bankruptcy is a tool. And Fadja's like, no, actually, that's really interesting because you lost a lot of African-Americans their money. And it's like, oh, oh. And Fadra needs something like that.
Starting point is 00:21:22 Yes. Fadra needs a true. I love Fadra. I think I'm so happy she's there. But like there's an argument to make for her to be made a friend of. And I think that she needs something substantial to like sink her teeth into and kind of show us that activated version of herself that we got on the reunion, that we saw on the Traders. We know it's still in there. There wasn't much of it on
Starting point is 00:21:43 Married to Medicine when she was on there for two seasons. But like, it's still there. She's just very selective when she shows it to us. Yeah. I mean, it's like Traders was like this, you know, just like brilliant performance from her. And I think since then when she was castor married to medicine and then when she was brought in as that replacement on Atlanta, both times, it was sort of like, oh, we're bringing in like a ringer to kind of like flesh out this group and it's exciting. Like she is she is the type of person where it's like, oh, it's really exciting that Fadra's going to be here.
Starting point is 00:22:17 But after, you know, two seasons, if you're going to continue to be, you know, earning your spot, it is like, okay, like it can't just be like Fadra the confessional comedian as much as I love that. Totally. And I also think I do think that like low key, a big benefit of her being. there is like how it makes Porsche feel yeah I almost feel like Porsche like needs Fajra there and stuff like I remember last year when Kenya got taken out and it was just her and Cynthia like Porsche you could sense like all the burden was suddenly on
Starting point is 00:22:51 her shoulders to like yeah this show happen again and when Fager came in it was like you could sense some of that burden being lifted and yeah see that it was completely lifted yeah I do think that Fager being there's important I just I'm curious whether like peach holder versus like another really powerful friend of yeah works best for her. Yeah, because I do feel like Portia is like, she puts in the work. She definitely has the last couple seasons.
Starting point is 00:23:15 But she is not as much of Tamara, Rina producer mindset where like, I want Porsche to be able to walk in and just do whatever. Yeah. And like, that's going to be watchable versus like, I don't want Porsche to be bogged down and like, okay,
Starting point is 00:23:33 I got to make something happen quick. Because also she always has something going on her life. And like the difference, I think she always gives personal storyline. And like I'd rather her like live her life and not worry about what you're just said, you know? Because there's other people that can do that for her. Yeah. Because even with the Shamiya thing, like the first two thirds of this season, there was barely anything to discuss when it came to her and Shemia.
Starting point is 00:23:56 And until Scotland, it really hadn't picked up that much. And so it was like, I did have to laugh at the reunion when Portia's like, I'm confused why we're discussing a friend. that ended last season. I'm like, girl. I know. That was like her trying to make a like a power play, you know? Like, if you don't want to talk about your mom or your daughter, I understand. But like, yeah, we're talking about you and Shemma. Yeah, exactly. Like you said what you said also.
Starting point is 00:24:20 And it's like, again, like, I like her being the main character. Yes. She does not need to be the producer type person. Yeah. I'm curious, I'm just curious how much of Shimea and Portia they explore next season, whether they, like, can they coexist like completely for an entire season? Do they like try to force them to make up? Like, I don't really need much of that. I just don't know what form it's going to take or should take. Yeah, I mean, like, I kind of feel like this season was strong enough. It was amazing.
Starting point is 00:24:46 That it's like, do we need Shemia? I kind of think they're bringing everybody back. Yeah. And he's like basically said that. Yeah, I guess when you have a really solid season, and I think it seems like consensus is this was the best season of Atlanta in like several years. Yeah, a long time. that like it is sort of like take the path of least resistance bring everybody back that's basically been the salt lake emo totally it's like and you know what like they've put this group together basically and like they've now lived with each other for yeah two year three years like give him another year you know and like even with somebody like kelly it's like i i have such a tough time sometimes with her but how can you argue with like watching angela and her go back and forth and not love that like again you have to have the opposition you don't have to like them you don't have to
Starting point is 00:25:35 enjoy them. You might not have to buy everything they're selling, including radioactive. What was that? What did Frater say? Radioactive. I was to Pinky about radioactive burgers. Yes. Burgers, yes.
Starting point is 00:25:46 Even with her, but like, you don't have to buy what they're selling, but like they have, you have to have people like that there. Yeah. Kelly, I, God, she pisses, she pisses me off, but I also kind of just, there's that back of your head where it's like, oh, but she's so funny. And you know what? She'll take it. I she'll take the Angela beating.
Starting point is 00:26:06 I would love for Kelly to come back like 15% dialed back. I agree. Because I do think like, and I saw somebody say this on threads or something where it's like Kelly has everything going on in her life that would be an amazing storyline. But because she is so kind of, I don't, delusional is such a blanket statement. but it's like she is so unwilling to kind of like admit that there is. Right. I mean, she'll say that she went through hell with her divorce and all of that, but it's like talking about.
Starting point is 00:26:44 How many details do we actually get? Right. Talking about the teeth and talking about the restaurants and stuff. It does just kind of feel like, but at the end of the day, I'm like a rich bitch and whatever. And it's like, but what does that mean? Yeah, exactly. And I think that if she could like, if she could maybe knock her like ego down a peg or two, she could be like such a compelling housewife.
Starting point is 00:27:06 I totally agree. It would benefit her so much. And I almost, I almost feel like that's a little bit what happened with Drew Sadora, where when she first came on the show, I feel like a lot of people were really annoyed by her. And it was this kind of like delusion and what's going on with Drew. And like when,
Starting point is 00:27:23 before her marriage with Ralph, you know, totally fell apart. It was a little bit like keeping up appearances. And it's like now Drew, it's like, it's seemingly is very upfront about, the whole situation with her personal life and it's just like a great ensemble member.
Starting point is 00:27:39 Yeah, I think that her marriage falling apart was the best thing that happened to her for the show because like she wasn't protecting him anymore. Like it felt like she was like protecting Ralph and like just being really inauthentic as a result. Yeah. And that's for me like it changed immediately that last season when like we, when they weren't together anymore and she was freed up a little bit more. I do think that towards the end of this season, I agree.
Starting point is 00:28:03 the first half, first two-thirds, honestly, great. Some of the phoniness came a little bit. Just creeping back in for me with like the horse thing. Continuing to call Black her friend. I think her high point of the season for me was showing up to Pinky's Cattle Call audition. Oh my God. I mean like, oh, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:28:24 I'm not here to audition. And then the couple scenes that we got with her like 14 person team. Oh, more of that. More of that. More of that. More of that. More of that. That's the show within the show. That's the show.
Starting point is 00:28:34 And people responded really well to that scene and we got no more of it. Yeah. I would have loved more of that. But I think that's the kind of thing where like if Drew had pulled that shit three or four seasons ago, people would have been like, get this girl out of here. Uh-huh. And now it's like, oh no, that's my, that's my delusional queen. Totally. And it's, yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:28:51 You have to earn that. It's like, it's like, only okay if I say it, you know? I think, I think Pinky also could work on that a little bit where like taking, and they, I mean, she basically, was given this advice on the reunion. But it's like, yeah, like take down those walls a little bit of being the boss bitch, the business woman, the, the mogul, and like actually talk to us as like friends. I mean, this was like the Amanda Francis problem as well. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:29:19 Of like you can't only be on here to talk about how successful you are in business. No, and it's like you just, when you're doing so much telling and not showing, that's like a huge issue. But I think that Pinky, like, for me, I was like really apprehensive about her. the first third of the season. I thought she was too corny for me. I wasn't loving all the bankruptcy talk. But she really,
Starting point is 00:29:43 even just the way she was moving the group, kind of won me over by the end of the season. I actually really was encouraged by her, and I like her a lot. I liked that she, at the end of the day, wasn't, she wasn't, like, going down with the ship of the, like, Shamiya and Kelly Alliance.
Starting point is 00:29:59 Like, she kind of explored her options a little bit more, which I think was important. It felt real. Yeah. It didn't feel like she was like convenient either. Yeah. Yeah. I'm so,
Starting point is 00:30:08 and also K. Michelle, it's like she had, it's like she like didn't have a very good season. She had an amazing reunion, I thought. If K. Michelle, she'd figured it out. If K.
Starting point is 00:30:17 Michelle can actually internalize the advice that she was given at the reunion. Yeah. I think, I mean, because she and, she and Portia, I think, obviously it's a completely different,
Starting point is 00:30:30 you know, origin story, but I think they have the potential. to be like, kind of like a Giselle and Karen Hugar kind of vibe where it's like, I can't tell from one day to another whether these women love each other or hate each other, but it's funny and it's compelling and it feels real. And like with K. Michelle, I think it's been a long time since we've had a newbie come on a housewives show that felt like they had the like gravitational pull of K Michelle. And I think that, you know, to her credit, she is like, uh, you know, know, an iconic figure in the, you know, like reality TV space. She's very successful in her music. Like, all of that, like, is legit. And it's like, okay, it took, she needed the training wheels to figure out, like,
Starting point is 00:31:15 how to be a housewife. And I hope that now she gets it. I think she does get it. Yeah. Like, I really, again, even after the reunion, she's doing, like, a lot of, I haven't really pay attention to what she's saying, but she's still doing a lot of, like, tweeting and live streaming or whatever. Like, I'm not going to like, it's in her blood.
Starting point is 00:31:30 I can't really pay attention to that too much. So I wish she would tamper down on that a little bit, save it for season 18, because I think cameras probably will go up pretty soon. Other than that, I'm like, I'm excited by her. I really am. Yeah. And like seeing them in the first chairs going at it, like, it got me. Yeah, because it's like if K. Michelle hadn't been there, it's like it would have been so normal for them to have like Porsche and Shemia in the first chairs.
Starting point is 00:31:56 And I'm like, I think it was better with K. Michelle. A thousand percent. I do think that Shemia should have been second chair. Was she not? Kelly was second. Oh, Kelly was second. I don't really know why.
Starting point is 00:32:06 But, yeah. I guess maybe because Shameda and K. Michelle were like kind of going at it. So they had done somebody between them, maybe. I guess. Oh, yeah, talking about Mamas and Hucca Loungees. Jezebel. Call who a Jezebel? Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:32:22 When I, somebody posted, when Portia said like your mom is a Jezebel, it was like an animorphs thing of her into Dr. Heavenly. God. Oh my God. In some other universe or like honestly spin-off idea for Bravo, like, if they could somehow combine Mary to Madison in Atlanta just for like a little like a crossover party. It would be fun. That would be so fucking fun. It would be fun if they could figure out like the shows shouldn't be the same. No, no.
Starting point is 00:32:55 But like, yeah, that would be fun. You know? Because like I also think that Mary's in Medicine, like I love a show so much. It could use some love. And it's like, she had one little moment where like, we saw them all at the, at the med gala together or something and like, like, got a little bit, yeah. And got like heavily like, you know, stirring the pot with the Atlanta women and like maybe like, like, they all hate Pha. And Fadra hates all them. It's for a good cause.
Starting point is 00:33:18 They should go to the med gala. I think that could be like a really fun idea. I'm just putting it out there. Okay. I'm on board for that. Yeah. That just came to me. Is it even filming?
Starting point is 00:33:26 They're not filming. I asked on threads. I was like, what's going on? somebody said that Heavenly said that they'll pick up filming soon, I guess. Heverly is always talking to. I mean, Heavenly doesn't have, she's not on the campaign trail anymore, so. She has her YouTube. I will be like posting on the Gabby and give Instagram page, like, you know,
Starting point is 00:33:44 putting the clips up. And at least once a day, there's a notification, Dr. Heavenly is going live. Well, you know what? I have stumbled on a couple times recently is, um, Porsche, Portia's been doing lives for, go naked hair. Uh-huh. And it's like a shoppable live on TikTok. So it's essentially QVC, but you're on your phone in your living room.
Starting point is 00:34:07 And clearly she has people helping her with this. It's not just like her in the room alone. But they have like the whole setup. And like her sister is usually there, Lauren. And the one, the first one that I stumbled on, it was Drew had like popped by to join the live because Drew has her go naked hair collection. Of course. And I, okay.
Starting point is 00:34:28 So I had like a little bit of a cold like allergy situation. So I had taken a Benadryl. And so I was like a little bit like groggy, loopy, whatever. It was like 8 p.m. And I just this came up on my for you page and I swear to God I watched it for like 30 minutes. And they're because they're just like cutting up in Porsche's like dining room or something with the the wigs on the like styrofoam wig heads and like, oh, look how it moves. And like, oh, this unit. It's so pretty.
Starting point is 00:34:58 And they just were having so, you could tell that they were having fun with each other. I'm sorry, if you can, like, hold it down for an hour long wig selling on TikTok, your star. And it was so, that's just the rules. It was so, because they were having fun. And Drew was there for, like, a set 30 minutes or something. And then she left and, like, Lauren came on to show, like, a different wig line or whatever. But these, you know, in the bottom, it shows, like, the one that they're talking about will, like, pop up on the bottom. And it's like, oh, 20% off, whatever.
Starting point is 00:35:26 They were, like, selling. through these wigs. I'm sure she's making it for a where they'd be like oh the one we're holding right now okay that one sold out like give me a different one put a coupon on it whatever like TikTok shopping is crazy crazy but I was like
Starting point is 00:35:39 damn people are buying these like $500 wigs on the spot because Drew has it on her head and looks stunning and that's the kind of thing where like just I feel like that speaks so much to just how engaging and like watchable these women
Starting point is 00:35:56 are we're so lucky that Porsche is like so locked in. Yeah. Like imagine if she just like wasn't. Because she wasn't for a few years there. She like stepped away from the show. Her life was messy. Thank God.
Starting point is 00:36:05 Like what would they do without her? I was thinking about that because obviously, you know, Porsche left Atlanta. She had her like own spinoff show, which feels like it never happened because she was with Dennis. Yeah, which was really messy. And then. Then she gets with what's his face? She, yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:22 She was with Simon. She was on the girls trip Thailand season. which was like a weird interim period. But it is kind of crazy that it's like she's only been back on housewives for a couple of years. I know. And like she just feels like one of the most important housewives we have, if not like the most important right now. Right. Like she's such a pillar of the community.
Starting point is 00:36:43 No, she is. And it's like I just have such a newfound appreciation for what she like delivers and brings. Yeah. Two and five Canadians will hear the words you have cancer. I was going through, so obviously Girls Trip is on right now for the 20th anniversary.
Starting point is 00:38:00 and I was going through looking at like who have been kind of like the like representatives of housewives over the years. And I, one of my favorite things to do is to go on Getty images and look at like old pictures. Oh my God. And so, okay, so I pulled up a few that I want to like talk about. So this, this is a photo from the Bravo upfront event in 2011. And I just want to present to you this absolute troop of blondes. It's basically the Beverly Hills and OC casts from.
Starting point is 00:38:30 2011. Wow. But it's so crazy to me that it's like 10 white blonde women. Flanked by. The only brunettes in the lineup are Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpun. And okay, to be clear, other Bravo casts were at this event. So it's not like they only invited the 10 blondes and two brunettes. But it just was like this photo.
Starting point is 00:38:51 I'm like, damn, we were living in like George W. Bush's America. Truly. And all their satin dresses. It's so crazy. I love like, I'm picturing them like putting that photo together. Alexis Bolino's like absolute bib of a necklace. Vicky, Vicki in that photo. Like going through.
Starting point is 00:39:09 That's OG Vicky. Going through Vicki's Getty image history is a wild ride. Oh, I'm sure. I'm sure. And she has the audacity to say that Teresa has changed the most. Okay, this is fun. This is watch what happens live. Oh, I remember this.
Starting point is 00:39:23 When Andy announced that he was going to become a father for the first time. And it's just so funny because it's like, okay, you're inviting five housewives. This was 2018. And it's Teresa Kyle, Nini, Vicky, and Ramona. I'm like, wow. Yeah, it's crazy how much the COVID year also changed everything. Yeah. It was like, Nini obviously left Bravo by closing her laptop to the COVID reunion.
Starting point is 00:39:46 Ramona would never be the representative of Feroni after 2020, you know? It's funny because like in on paper, Ramona was on just as long as Luann, just as long as Sonia, whoever. But it's like, she's just not. Luann has remained now the like ambassador of like OG Rony. And it's like, Ramona would never get that in. Ramona's too radioactive for Bravo now. She's too radioactive. She's not too radioactive for the golden life.
Starting point is 00:40:12 But it's like Luan is doing the golden life too. Like it's like it's not that there's not that it has to be clear cut one or the other. It's just that like no, Ramona is not on. Dorinda and LeWan played the game, the Roney game much better. They played their cards. Right. Okay. The next one I want to look at is, um, this is from the first Bravo con.
Starting point is 00:40:28 Okay. They did this OG housewife panel and it's Luan, Kyle, Vicki, and Teresa. Teresa. Kyle's doing the splits. Moderated by Andy and Kyle is doing the splits in the middle of the stage at BravoCon. And this is- It's really always Teresa. Yes.
Starting point is 00:40:45 It's always Teresa. Teresa and Kyle. Rightfully so. Teresa and Kyle are like the icon of their franchise. They're the layups. Yeah. And it's like since LVP left. And really for Jersey
Starting point is 00:41:00 There was never competition for Teresa It's like no, they're the one They're the ones Yeah, and Roney's been a little bit of rotating thing But it kind of is firmly Luan now Yes Because Luan is the one She's like the brand safe
Starting point is 00:41:12 She's gonna go out on the stage It up front And not embarrass you Yeah and she'll give you like a little bit Like you know Happy birthday She'll do something You know
Starting point is 00:41:22 I love when they're playing Sheiksail-A-L-L-B in the car And she's like I love that song it's like yeah I bet you do we complained about Mickey being negative that was an amazing exchange do you want to come for a drink of a room no but also it's no but she wasn't just like I don't want to come for a drink she was like everybody should go to bed like shut it's like you go to bed oh like give us the after
Starting point is 00:41:43 hours okay this is the original ultimate girls trip season that was fine which at the time was like so groundbreaking so iconic and Cynthia on there and this was because the first season of girls trip was like very much like okay we're we're picking the A list. Yeah. We're taking the main tier. There's no O.C. Question about this.
Starting point is 00:42:02 They all have a pair. But Kyle doesn't have a pair from Beverly Hills. Do you remember why that was? There's two Atlanta, two Jersey, two New York. Is there supposed to be somebody else with her? I can't remember. I'm just looking at that. At the time, I feel like it would have been like...
Starting point is 00:42:17 L. BP. No. It would have been like Erica or DeReed. Yeah, this was like coming out of the pandemic. They should have put one of them on there with her. But they're not OGs or they're not even close to being OGs. I guess Kenya's not. Cynthia and Kenya aren't, oh, geez.
Starting point is 00:42:29 Yeah, it's true. No, it's true. That's true. She went behind it back in 2011. Oh, lest we forget the original sin. It's interesting. I feel like there hasn't been that much discussion of who has been on girls' trips together in the past because out of this roaring 20th season, the only one who hasn't done a girls' trip
Starting point is 00:42:47 before is Lisa Barlow, which makes sense. Yeah, of course. But Whitney and Heather got to do one. And Giselle's on one. So Giselle and Portia were in Thailand together. obviously Luanne, Kyle, and Teresa were on this original one, and then Vicki was at Bluestone Manor and in Morocco. Well, I think it's funny because I feel like the most successful season of girls' trip
Starting point is 00:43:12 was the second one of Bluestone Manor. It was the ex-wives, so many of them got opportunities after that to be back on Bravo. I think it was the best season qualitatively, but it also was the most prosperous season in terms of bringing people back. then it was like Thailand was like a pretty big flop and it was all current housewives I'm pretty sure yeah and not a flop but like it didn't it didn't really work it wasn't the same vibe and like after that they clearly wanted to go back to the ex-wives for me like because it works better yes but it's just like you you imagine like an alternate universe where like we did get more seasons
Starting point is 00:43:46 of like active housewives just like all kind of being put on a plane together right there Thailand it felt like there there was a moment where it was was like, oh, is this going to be something we just do every year and throw them together? And it would have loved that. See what happens. Yeah. Well, and also the Roney legacy season feels like it never happened. You're right.
Starting point is 00:44:08 I completely forgot that even happened, to be honest. Well, it's a little weird that that was girls' trip. Yeah, totally. But, like, it was. Yeah, that was our Rony, like, yeah. And it's like, I guess one of the issues with Thailand, though, it's like, I would love to see more current housewise versions of this. But then what happens is it's just sort of like a redux of, like, their story.
Starting point is 00:44:26 Alliance from that most recent season they had filmed, which like feels, makes it feel repetitive and kind of like, you know, beating a dead horse. So how do you make it not about that? Right. You force them to have their own conflict with their new people. But also it's like, I think the Thailand one was the probably the season that had the most friction within the group. I mean, the Dorinda was to an uncomfortable extent.
Starting point is 00:44:47 Right. Where it's like, none of these girls like Liam McSweeney. Why is she there? Marisol's not like easy to get along with. Whitney and Heather were in a weird place. Candice and Jazel hate each other. Right.
Starting point is 00:44:58 So it wasn't, I mean, maybe. It wasn't the best crew to pull the casting issue, but also it just was like the vibe was not that. Yes. Fun.
Starting point is 00:45:06 Leah, like, that is such. I can't believe she was on that show. I saw her like pop up on Instagram the other day and I was like, I have not thought about her
Starting point is 00:45:15 in three years. Yeah, only like you, only like the every three months page six update on the court case. It's like so, it's so funny that that happened. And not just that it happened, but that at the time it was like, oh, this is exciting. And this is like the new vibe.
Starting point is 00:45:35 That is just like that. That year of Roney, it really changed everything. Really strange. She was only on two seasons. But that changed everything. Yeah. It did. Like nothing was ever the same after that.
Starting point is 00:45:47 We were all so happy that. Girl. Okay. And then the last one is this is from Upfronts this year when they brought out the, Girl's Tripcast SkyTah but it's so funny because they had
Starting point is 00:45:59 Andy and Vicky do like the bit in the like 2006 outfits and the rest of them are in their like business professional and it's sort of
Starting point is 00:46:07 plunging blazer drubes everybody's in like a silk blazer oversized Meredith Marks Flair pants it's funny though
Starting point is 00:46:17 because I was when I was like scrolling through like the photos from that day it's like everybody else
Starting point is 00:46:23 besides Vicky was like backstage taking like cute photos together. But Vicky, I guess, I think she was like on stage first with Andy. She's probably sent her email. So she's, no, because she and Andy did the bit in the costume. So she's like not in the like, she's not in the like cute group photos.
Starting point is 00:46:38 And I'm like, that is really on brand, unfortunately for her. I don't know. It's, it's interesting to see though, like when they're at each kind of like stop on the road. Like who is and isn't getting invited to these events? Well, it's like we haven't seen Melissa, you know? It's like she's like the next jersey person. Teresa's story really hasn't been Yeah or like her I don't know her relationship to the other women
Starting point is 00:47:02 I guess Jersey was in a weird place when this filmed Yeah I imagine that some of the Jersey women will be in New York and then at Berkshires is there an event in New York I believe so okay because it's nine episodes they they on the cartoon map on the first time So New York is one of the stops you're right you're right yes yes so I imagine that some of the Jersey women will be there but it doesn't feel like because with with Beverly Hills at Kyle party, we got a lot of faces coming back.
Starting point is 00:47:29 It seems like in Atlanta, we're going to get a lot of guest appearances. But like, in OC, we only got a few people. It was kind of weird that like Gina and Emily and Jen, like, they weren't really invited to anything. Yeah, no, I asked Emily about that. She said they weren't invited. It's so interesting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:46 It is, it's weird. Because everyone from Beverly Hills seemed to be invited. Exactly. Because even Kyle said that Doreet was invited and decided not to come. I mean, like, it made sense that, Learie. Lisa Vanderpump wasn't going to go to that white party. Of course not. Lisa Rina is like she has other things going on.
Starting point is 00:48:01 But if Deree, you know what, Doreet should have done, she should have said no and then shown up halfway through the party. That's what Doreet should have done. It would have been so good. You know? Like, make a moment. But yeah. No, but I respected that even Kyle was like, she should be here.
Starting point is 00:48:15 Of course. Yeah. I bet you she invited Rina, I'm guessing. I'm sure Rinnon turned out. Yeah, I feel like at, like, like, courtesy, invite everybody except LDP. Yeah. Right? It is like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:26 It's interesting though, like on OC, yeah, because there were like the original, like, Gina and Joe were there. But even like, you know, Gretchen, Alexis, Lizzie, you know, people that it's like they... I could have used a big O.C party. Right. Like, it would have been fun to have like 20 years of housewives that it really felt like it was like we have a couple OGs and then kind of like the, you know, Heather and Tamara and Shannon are here. Yeah. It would have been. I was surprised I didn't do some other thing.
Starting point is 00:48:53 Yeah, they should have, because that's the thing. I feel like the most exciting part of this show to me, it's like, obviously we're getting like bits of drama with the group and stuff, but like, it's just like fun to see everyone. And like the, oh, I loved the montage that they did of Housewives trying to sing. Oh, that was good. Like moments like that. And it's like, why not include as many faces as you can? I mean, I'm sure it's a nightmare for production.
Starting point is 00:49:18 I can't even. I think they still got like, by the end, I think it's like 80 Housewives. Yes. crazy. Right. I'm like, where is Peggy Tannos? Why are Nuella and Katie Janella not there?
Starting point is 00:49:30 It's like, no. And they must show up later. A lot of these women, but it just felt like not to have them pop up in their own place down the road. We're going to get more, you know, Heather's going to be in Atlanta
Starting point is 00:49:40 and like a lot of the OG cast is going to be there. It seems, I know the whole Rhode Island cast. Yeah, the whole Rhode Island cast goes to Bluestone Manor. And so like, I don't know. about Jersey. I'm sure Dolores is there. Jersey and New York, I haven't really heard much about.
Starting point is 00:49:56 I don't really remember who's going to be there. We know Alex McCord will show up. Oh, yes. Which I'm excited. We were robbed of that Morocco season. It hurts. It still hurts. I talk to somebody who watched some of the episodes. Yeah. I think you probably talked to that person. Yeah. I know people who have been in the on those hard drives. God, release the tapes. I saw even, because like Camille was at the white party. Right. And somebody, Camille also. loves to be in the replies on Twitter or threads or whatever.
Starting point is 00:50:25 I'm like, what are we doing? It's still 2012 and Camille's World. Somebody was talking, basically, like, bitching about Vicky on the show. And she was like, all I can say is I had a great time with her in Morocco. Wish you had to see it. It's like, me too. Girl same. It's like, it's really fun to have just, like, something fun to watch.
Starting point is 00:50:47 It's fun. It's fun. And, like, honestly, my favorite parts are, like, Giselle and Porsche together. Portia and Lisa having a friendship that's like you know virgining like I love that like them getting ready and glam together and like popping into each other's hotel rooms like I love that shit yeah I love that they're staying at the hotels together yeah me too like it's really fun because I also when they announced to the format it's like obviously I know that they're not going to like road trip across the country from LA to Atlanta but but it was even it was fun
Starting point is 00:51:18 seeing them like on the drive from Orange County to Beverly Hills like those like little kind of like in-between moments are sometimes more fun than just like the party. Yeah, exactly. They're not as like primed like, oh, I'm on TV, you know? Like, they're just kind of like chilling. Yeah, and it's fun. You're seeing them like face-timing with people and just like kind of having this like,
Starting point is 00:51:38 I mean, because I think also most of the other Ultimate Girls trips have been like about a week. And it's like two full weeks that they're doing this together. And I'm like, that's a lot of time. It's a lot. No, even hearing them, I've watched like so many of those groupings. interviews they were doing, like talking about what they were packing. And like they had to like pack for every single theme. Drag race.
Starting point is 00:51:57 You get five suitcases. Every day for 14 days. Like that's a lot of. Crazy. And like the coordination of the glam had to be a nightmare. Yeah. I would like to hear from a producer of. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:11 It's because it's a very. There have not been very many shows like this that have had a format where they're traveling every. No. A couple of days. No. It's been. I'm so.
Starting point is 00:52:22 happy watching the show. It's really cool that they pulled it off. It's amazing they did it. Like it's, you know, as much as the 20th season of Orange County, it's just like not living up to what you would envision a 20th season hoping, hopefully to be. Like this very much is delivering, I think, like on so many fronts. And some unexpected ones too. I, yeah, no, it's, it's exciting. And I feel like, you know, do you think they'll ever do a girl's trip again, though? It's just like such a good format. And like, I do think, like, you can, do one with current ones that you just have to encourage them to like create more story. They don't have to be super drama.
Starting point is 00:52:58 They can be five day trips. Like and also like I say this like on every fucking podcast like go on. But like girls trip with the non housewives. I was sorry like that is the next iteration. I feel like this could be a good transition. Transition moment of like we blew it out with the housewives. We've done five seasons of it. We brought all these OGs.
Starting point is 00:53:22 back. We created these iconic moments. Now the next girl's trip is going to be like Golnessa and Sheena and... And Sally Carson. Madison LaCroix. Yeah. And Lindsay and Sierra. Like, that would be amazing. And I think also, you know, people were asking for that from day one of the girls trip experiment. But I think even now there is like such a fertile crop of those people. I mean, like, even from Summerhouse, you have a bunch of different people you could pick from Southern Charm, from, you know, Persian style, from the valley, from Vanderpump.
Starting point is 00:53:59 Like there are a lot of those Southern hospitality. There's a lot of those people that would be excited for that opportunity. It's like we used to say at Winterhouse, honestly, for as like much of a shit show as it kind of was, it did provide a lot of story for like a lot of those shows like the crossover relationship. Below deck too. Like they really did its job for a couple years there. Yeah. I don't need Winterhouse.
Starting point is 00:54:21 back, but like, do like, do like a vacation house. You could even make a co-ed, honestly. Yeah. You could even make a co-ed and it would produce so much drama for all the shows. Yeah. It'd be a great watch. I just don't know why they wouldn't have done that already. Maybe that's what it. Maybe it's like a co-ed. Yeah. Vacation vibe. Which would be great. Yeah. It's like spring break. Spring break. Spring break by Bravo. Sprint. Bravo's spring house. No, it is crazy like winter house. was like bleaker than OCC's season 20. Winterhouse is dark because you have to be inside because it's cold out. If it's a spring break type situation, you can go to the beach, you can go on a boat,
Starting point is 00:55:01 you can do this, you can do that. Remember when Andrea and Paige went on a sleigh ride? I actually don't. All I remember is Andrea bringing her coffee every morning. Draped in blankets. Like what was going on? I like barely, yeah. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:55:17 But like again, like Craig Page, Lindsay Sierra Austin situation. and like Danielle being crazy on season four. Like, that was good stuff. I think that also helped to sort of develop the Kyle and Amanda saga where it was more than just we're seeing them once in the Hamptons every year. And if there are below deck, if there's below deck talent that the network's really excited about, you put them in there, as you said as well. Like that's, that could bring a new audience to those shows.
Starting point is 00:55:46 Like it just feels like a total no-brainer to me. Really quick. When was the last time you were? watched below deck. The Salt Lake City crossover. Okay, great. I have not been a regular below deck viewer in the last few years, but like I'll hear like little scraps of like when something is happening that's like important.
Starting point is 00:56:05 It's like the shit that goes on on those shows, I'm like I don't feel the urge to watch this. I have heard the season of Met is really good though. The season of met because there was like a like come in the sheets debacle. Yeah, I heard Andy talk about this on his radio show. And then apparently this week. there's a guy on the show, like a deckhand or something, who goes to Sandy, and it's like, I heard from my dad that he's, like, trapped in Libya or something, and I have to go rescue him.
Starting point is 00:56:32 What's going on? Whatever happened to the, hello, my name is. I'm like, okay. No, it's like, I'm like, maybe I should watch Below Deck Med. I love receiving information about Below Deck. I have, like, one friend who, like, religiously watches it still, and she'll just be like, you'll never guess what's going on. And I'm like, honestly, this is as much as I need to know.
Starting point is 00:56:51 But I have, I'm tempted. Well, and Summerhouse is going to be on med next season. I feel like below deck med is like the only one. I know. They're really leaning in. I know. I love it though. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:02 I don't watch it, but I love it. I love that it exists. I love that for that. I love the idea that there's like a part of the Bravo universe as deep and like, unwell as I am about it. Like that I just like don't really can like engage with. And if I ever want to, I just can. You know, it's there.
Starting point is 00:57:19 And that's just beautiful. That's what the McBee dynasty is. for. Totally agree. And I will tap in at some point. That is simply none of my business. Talk about a show that I will hear something about and be really disturbed. The clip of Galena smashing the window? I don't know who Galena is, but she smashed the window.
Starting point is 00:57:34 A picture of her face. I'm like, oh my God, who is this woman? Crazy. She's on McGby Dynasty? We have the same home state. They're from Missouri. Oh, absolutely. Crazy. I'm not from that part. You need to do a set visit. I haven't been there. Oh my gosh. Well, Gibson. Tell everyone where they can, uh, listen to your podcast. Gabby with Gibb,
