Starting point is 00:00:30 Ha ha, laugh, funny. Mention It All. A Bravo by Betches podcast. We don't say that, but now we said it. With Dylan Hafer. We'll go check me, Beau. Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the Mention at All podcast.
Starting point is 00:00:45 I am Dylan Hafer, and we are back for another Friday of just me chit-chatting with you. Of course, we're going to talk about Winter House. But before we get into that, we have a fun little update from page 6 to talk about. I guess it's a fun little update. I don't really know. So you know how Larsa Pippin was, you know, sort of maybe dating Michael Jordan's son, Marcus? Well, apparently Marcus was spotted out with another woman, but, you know, sources are saying that things are still going okay between Larsa and Marcus because they're still seeing other people. Quote, Larsa and Marcus aren't exclusively together.
Starting point is 00:01:26 They're dating. A source familiar with the situation told us a Thursday after a clip showed Jordan making out. with a mystery woman. It's so new, our insider said of Pippin and Jordan's romance. They're just enjoying time getting to know each other. Another source said that Larsa, quote, doesn't want to jump into an exclusive relationship right now. Has anything in the history of the world ever felt like more of a stunt than Larsa Pippin and Marcus Jordan, seeing each other, dating, hanging out, hooking up, whatever.
Starting point is 00:02:01 whatever verb you want to apply to this. It's just, it's one of those things where it is so messy because, of course, Larsa's ex-Scotti played with Marcus's father, Michael Jordan. You know, Google it if you're, if you don't know what any of that means. It's such a messy thing to happen. But then the way it's happened. has felt so calculated and so kind of like designed to get our attention while also being extremely boring.
Starting point is 00:02:45 The thing about Larsa, and maybe this goes for Marcus, but I don't know Marcus as well as I know Larsa. Larsa and I, good friends, of course, the thing about Larsa is that her life is interesting, but the way that she shares her life or chooses not to share her life is not interesting. I think that's the thing with Larson, that like she has lived a lot of life. She's been through interesting things. She was married to Scotty for a long time. The divorce was interesting last season when she was house hunting.
Starting point is 00:03:21 All of that stuff, potentially, you know, fucking your exes, nemesis is. Nemise's kid. That should be like front page tabloid news. We should be living for the drama. I mean, that's more dramatic than anything that happened with Olivia Wilde and Jason Siddakis. Let me tell you that. But the way that it's playing, the way that it's playing out is just like, okay, a source is telling page six that they're not exclusive. All right.
Starting point is 00:03:57 Good for them, I guess. if they want to keep it casual. I don't know. I also, you know, Miami's coming back in a couple weeks. I'm extremely excited for it, but I don't think any of this is going to be on the season. They were first, Marcus and Larsa were first linked or spotted together, you know, whatever the fuck we call it when, whatever.
Starting point is 00:04:19 In September, which I'm pretty sure is after they were finished filming. Also, even if they were hooking up, hanging out whatever while they were filming, I don't think Larsa would show us. I think Larsa is one of those people where I like her, but she's very, she's very selective about what she's willing to show, and I don't think she's going to budge on that. So it's one of those things where it's like,
Starting point is 00:04:46 I'm glad her life is interesting, but I don't actually think it's going to do much for me. But anyway, best of luck to Larsa and Marcus on their non-exclusive relationship. I hope it continues to, go however it's been going. All new drinks are now at McDonald's with refreshers like the strawberry

Starting point is 00:06:13 She'd be like, why do we have to go to a theme party? This seems lame. I just want to like lounge by the pool. Where's the pool? There's no pool? Larsa would be devastated that there wasn't a pool. She'd be like, why would I go to Winter House? I want to be in the summer.
Starting point is 00:06:27 I want to be in Miami. I want to be by the pool and a bikini. Taking my footpicks on Onlyfans. I make $10,000 a day. Why would it be at Winterhouse? she would be like Craig, she would not be cleaning the house. She'd be like, I make quite too much money on only fans to clean the house. And I respect that.
Starting point is 00:06:43 But anyway, Larsa aside, in the winter house, you know, Jess is still having her issue with the girls. Paige is saying that she's the nicest one in the house to every girl. I don't know about that. But I do think the mean girl thing is kind of overblown with Paige a little bit. But she says that she doesn't need to compliment Jess because she doesn't like her. And why would she compliment a girl she doesn't likes? she's not wrong. Don't, like, we don't want her to be fake.
Starting point is 00:07:12 And then Jess says that she gets in her head because she feels like the girls don't like her. So then she doesn't want to put in the effort because she feels like she's going to get rejected. Look, I under, I get this. Do I think the other women have done anything super wrong to make Jess feel like an outcast? Probably not. Do I think that Jess, is kind of being her own worst enemy a little bit, but also I understand social situations like that. She says she's been through a lot with other friends, kind of ditching her.
Starting point is 00:07:48 Going into a house like this where not only are, not only is it your first time doing a reality TV experience where everything's being filmed, I think that is more stressful than most of us can wrap our heads around if we haven't done it. But also, there's this whole group of people, most of whom already know each other have history going back years, specifically the women on this show. Paige, Sierra, Amanda, Lindsay coming in. All of these women have so much history with each other. They've been doing this not just friendship, but this reality TV game together for years. And, you know, Rachel is the only other one in the house who can relate to being new.
Starting point is 00:08:34 and she already knew Amanda. She already had bet Paige before the season. So it's tough. I do feel for Jess. I think her conversation with Paige later in the episode made me happy because I think Paige was able to kind of reel it in a little bit and realize that this situation and Jess's feelings about it didn't really have anything to do with the actual events in the house. You know, maybe could they have been a little more welcoming to her? Probably, sure. But there
Starting point is 00:09:11 wasn't like some incident where Jess was locked out of the room while all the other women were hanging out or anything like that. But I think Paige kind of realized in this case, there are other feelings at play. I let my emotions get the best of me. She maybe let her emotions get the best of her. And Paige says, I think this is a very wise statement. No matter who, was wrong and who was right, I did the yelling and I will apologize. I love that. Being the bigger person, you know, it's okay to have feelings. It's okay to yell, maybe, sometimes. It's okay to be passionate about something. But then the next day when you can take a step back and be like, you know, it's like that clip of Ramona that I always see going around on Twitter, which, you know,
Starting point is 00:09:59 who knows how much longer that'll be around. Like when Ramona is at the table, she goes, You know what? It's going to be okay. I think that's like what is happening with Paige and Jess right now. It's going to be okay. Austin, meanwhile, is very stressed about Lindsay showing up to the house. I mean, I think everybody's a little stressed about Lindsay and Carl showing up to the house. It just is compared to the Tom's arriving earlier in the season where it was just like, yay, more friends.
Starting point is 00:10:32 This one's a little trickier. You know, people are on different pages. And Austin specifically feels very weird about how he has left things with Lindsay. And it all roots back. Well, the root goes back further. But the current kind of weirdness goes back to Amanda and Kyle's wedding. When Austin says, so multiple people are saying, and we have on camera from Summerhouse last season, that at this wedding, Lindsay and Carl are pretty much presenting as a couple. they're telling people they're going to give their relationship a chance.
Starting point is 00:11:10 You know, they seem really positive about the direction things are going. Maybe they weren't officially official or, you know, saying boyfriend, girlfriend. Who knows? But they were together, it seems like. But according to Austin, he and Lindsay spent that night together. And he fell asleep in the bed and he woke up with Lindsay. Lindsay's hand down his pants. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Was he wearing pants? He's like, I woke up with Lindsay's hand on my, mm-hmm. And I'm like, okay, so was she like, like under the jeans or were you naked? Was he naked? I don't know. Maybe I should have taken better notes, but it's okay. Either way.
Starting point is 00:11:59 Something happened between the two of them, and then he says that Lindsay asked him not to tell anyone about it. So, you know, this begs the question. If Lindsay and Carl are at the wedding telling people they're giving love a chance or whatever, then eight hours later, why is Lindsay's hand on Austin's dick? And why is she asking him to keep it a secret? And then after Lindsay arrives, she and Amanda are speaking to each other at the ice rink, which, again, in terms of the games and the activities and stuff,
Starting point is 00:12:34 I don't give a shit who's like winning at the ice rink. not interesting. I mean, fun for them. I'm glad they had fun. I don't mind seeing it, but like I'm not taking notes on who won the ice competition. I'm taking notes on Amanda and Lindsay having a conversation.
Starting point is 00:12:56 And according to Lindsay, everybody's trying to suss out this timeline. Lindsay says that she and Carl have been like together together since October 7th, which she says was the first time they had sex. And then they were like really together since then. And they've been inseparable. So that's like five-ish months. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:13:19 Amanda and Kyle, so that's October 7th. Amanda and Kyle got married on September 25th. That is for those of you who, um, are calendarily challenged roughly two weeks before October 7th. I think. I'm not looking at a calendar either. So forgive me if my mouth is off.
Starting point is 00:13:38 So basically the crux of the issue here is if Lindsay and Carl really weren't together in a meaningful way until October 7th, why were they telling people at the wedding on September 25th that they were giving their relationship a chance? But then beyond that, if they were giving their relationship a chance on September 25th, then why did Lindsay spend the best? the night of September 25th with Austin. And more importantly, really, does Carl know about this alleged night with Austin? I don't know. You know, you know, I like Lindsay and Carl together a lot. I think they seem good for each other and like they have kind of arrived together at a place of maturity and a place of love and caring for one another that feels positive in the both of their lives. And we've seen them each go through a lot. And to see them here together,
Starting point is 00:14:49 looking cute in their sweaters, both not drinking. It's like, wow, they did the thing. They made it. We know they're engaged now. We know they live together. It's like watching your kids grow up. I imagine, you know. I don't have 35 year old children, but if I did, that would be weird. But so the thing is, for me, it's like, I don't want anything negative to happen with Lindsay and Carl. And of course, we know in real time that they are still together. They got engaged since this, whatever, this isn't going to be like the downfall of their relationship. But, like, I don't want to watch everybody running around the house whispering behind Carl's back about something that might hurt his feelings. Carl Radke is an angel that deserves to be protected.
Starting point is 00:15:42 And if there is some, you know, bullshit shenanigans that he needs to know about, then he should know about it. But I don't like him being on the receiving end of the gossip in the house. I just feel like Carl doesn't deserve it. Guys, I love Carl. If you told me like four years ago, three years ago that I would feel this way about Carl, I would have not believed you. He's just done such a good job kind of turning things around for himself and in his life and his relationships.
Starting point is 00:16:19 He's so sweet with Captain Lee. Love me some Carl. But yeah, I mean, that's kind of like, that's kind of the big thing looming over the end of this episode is like what's, what's going to be the resolution here? You know, I guess Sierra still hates Lindsay. She's avoiding her. She doesn't want to give up her room so they can sleep in the house and not go to a hotel. I like whatever
Starting point is 00:16:47 I just hope Carl's okay you know in the preview for next week oh my God we get Jess just saying that every day in the house is like two weeks so she and Corey have technically been together for like two months baby girl
Starting point is 00:17:07 reel it in turn it down get some go outside get some fresh mountain air oh my God Speaking of Corey, I had the pleasure of sitting down and chatting with him earlier this week, which is going to be out next Tuesday on the podcast. I had honestly the best time talking to Corey. I had no idea what to expect. He and I don't necessarily give off the same vibe. You know, he's very straight, which I don't feel like is exactly my aesthetic. But, um, Mention It All is produced by Dylan Hafer, Sean Kilby, Jorge Morales Pico, and Rebecca Sousmakat.
