Starting point is 00:00:52 ex wow i had to uh talk to him because of your sister because he's a trainer and she needed to get some intel on you know the trainer business people my sister's business okay should i start over no just keep going don't name no names it was my birthday so he had said happy birthday i'm so proud of you so it was a good time to write him back and ask for a favor so are you cool with all your ex-boyfriends uh no because i'll be talking about them on stage oh yeah yeah i talk a lot of shit about my exes because why not okay a lot of them didn't want to go half on a baby with me so were you ready for a baby because i feel like you're not ready for a baby now listen if my girl want to go half on the baby i'm down long as she paying for both halves
Starting point is 00:01:44 both halves halves you are a hot ass mess yeah but then um you know she i asked your sister how did he look she said he looked good so i was like damn he couldn't be missing a tooth or something you want your ex to be looking terrible after you leave them yes you don't want to see them and be like oh they look great and so when people see them they could be like oh that's sydney scraps you want them to look like scraps yes wow i want them to be in shambles i want them to be um a disheveled white man that's what i want speaking of disheveled white men i feel like my ex must possibly probably definitely look like that i haven't seen him i don't want to see him i'm not ready i thought i saw him the other day at the uh train station i thought i saw the side
Starting point is 00:02:36 of his face and i just ran the other way can you pick your man out of a lineup what are you talking about like from the side yeah it might not have been him yeah but he was with a black girl so it could have been him do you think that he would be with a black woman after you i don't know i think you might have scarred him for life well he used to always say that he liked women of color so asian filipino black he just didn't like white women but i asked him if he ever dated a white girl he has so he just don't like gingers maybe maybe that's what he nodded into do you think he's out here thriving without you uh i think that his uh bank his his checking account balance is thriving without me for sure because i was using all of the swipes definitely i love the swipes you know
Starting point is 00:03:30 so that's what if i i thought i saw him and i ran the other way i'm not ready for him to see me yet why you're doing well I need to be thriving better than him I mean if you looked at your Instagram I mean your followers are going up your butt is getting bigger your edges are laid like your fro is getting bigger glory to God yeah like that's what all of social media is about like just making sure people know that you're he's not checking you know what if he's listening to this let me just stop talking about him shout out to my ex there's a song called shout out to my ex I know i'm not giving a shout out to my ex but i do hope that he's happy wherever he's at because you know i heard him so that's me not him it's the mic on it's the mic on that's it that's all i'm
Starting point is 00:04:15 saying about the subject epi that's it uh so where were you an expert in this week i wasn't an expert at getting played by a homeless man um you know i'm out here just being the homeless magnet that i am regularly and uh this homeless guy got on the bus and i had my little to-go plate on the seat next to me and i was like oh we just landed homeless people on the b51 now and he got on he started asking for food and i was like let me put my headphones all the way up and this homeless man came up to me and was like do you have any food and i was like did you ask me for gum you asking for gum right now and he's like no food and i was like are you asking me for trident layers and he was like no gum and i was like i don't have food and he uh was like what's that sitting next to you
Starting point is 00:05:02 he was pointing to my little to-go i can't believe he was asking follow-up questions to the first question he got a lot of nerve well i was asking follow-up because i was being stupid you know i'm terrible i ain't been to church in a while so you have a home you have like but i was also on the bus so like if you ride in the bus your home can't be that nice that's true and he was like what's sat on a seat next to you and I was like what seat he was like right there and I was like this is my food did you shut him down I thought I did and uh what ended up happening is um he reached across the seat and grabbed the food and his finger went through the plastic bag and through the aluminum foil and into the brown rice into the black rice and beans in the bowl
Starting point is 00:05:47 and uh i was like well i'm not gonna eat around his thumb that's his rights now he hit you with the my germs he hit me with the my germs you know what let's just introduce this yeah because you obviously don't know how this intro works we it was an a and b conversation oh okay that's awkward listen i'm supposed to sit here and just like eavesdrop just listen to the podcast early just nosy listen let's just introduce this That was a terrible last guest. I'm sorry. He's going to be fantastic, though.
Starting point is 00:06:19 We can talk about the mites germs and everything. Did you hear what happened, though? I couldn't help myself. The homeless person dug in her food. I'm supposed to just be quiet? Yeah. If I was there, I would have said something. I would have done that, too.
Starting point is 00:06:31 She's lucky that nobody, the bus driver uppercut her for lying. Okay, well, let's introduce this guest. Our guest today is a comedian. He has a podcast called The Book of Ye. So he's a super Kanye West fan Yeah he's pretty You're like a celebrity Like it's out there
Starting point is 00:06:50 Your podcast is out there You're getting Your numbers up and running We've got listeners All over the world Because people love Kanye West When you say all over the world Are you talking about
Starting point is 00:06:58 The Bronx Long Island Staten Island Charlotte Yes As well as London Oh And Japan
Starting point is 00:07:05 And one dude in Pakistan We're trying to get that One dude in Pakistan We're trying to get up to two In Pakistan Wow He don't even listen With like his family
Starting point is 00:07:14 It's just him? I don't know. We don't know who it is. We just know where they are. How do you know where these people are? We get like a breakdown of where all the people are. Okay, great. So you got your own thing going.
Starting point is 00:07:27 You're actually from Atlanta. That's right. You are our Atlanta expert. Give it up for Robert Hayes. Hayes. It's actually Robert L. Hayes. What does the L stand for? I'm here to put out the business.
Starting point is 00:07:43 What does the L stand for? Ludwig? Robert Ludwig Hayes? I don't know if I want to put it out there. Robert Ludlow Hayes? I forgot what the L. Lawrence Hayes? No. L'Oreal? No. Robert L'Oreal Hayes?
Starting point is 00:07:59 Robert Lance Hayes. It's Lewis. I don't know if I would have made it there. I'm not embarrassed by it or nothing. You started with something I should be ashamed of. Ludwig? Like Beethoven? Come on, man. Who after
Starting point is 00:08:14 Beethoven's Ludwig? Literally nobody. It could have been just you. Yeah. Da da da da to that name. Da da da da to that kid Ludwig. Rob, you from Atlanta. If you were on the bus with me when the homeless man did the My Germs to My Food, you would have stepped in?
Starting point is 00:08:32 No, he definitely wouldn't have. World star to that. He would have detailed, like, talk about it after he got home. He would have live tweeted. He's like, yo, I'm on the bus and this I see you be tweeting Don't act like you don't tweet What's your twitter handle for people
Starting point is 00:08:48 Robert is the man I'll spell correctly So did you have that twitter handle When you were a kid like Robert is the man No I had it That was his name screen name Yeah who calls themselves the man Well it used to be Robert too funny
Starting point is 00:09:05 But people were like You're just making it worse man And they were like ooh how funny are you but now people are not hitting you up and saying well how much of the man are you yeah they're like can i see your how much man you have how many inches of man is this robert robert you're from atlanta hotland is that what they call it um only if you're like 40 something yeah like no no one near our age calls it hotland it hasn't been hotland robert how are you 24 24? I'm the age
Starting point is 00:09:40 that I am. Okay. Thank you, Robert Ludwig. Nobody is telling their age on this podcast. Sidney, you're the only one who is out here as a performer telling people your real age and government. I'm trying to bridge the gap. You sound like Chrisette Michelle BS right now.
Starting point is 00:09:56 Did you see my boss gap? Did you see my boss gap? If you don't get your croissant Michelle ass out. I'm trying my best to bridge the between the young and the old girl you better don't um so rob tell us born and raised atlanta where we're in atlanta uh southwest atlanta a lot of people don't believe yeah i don't know what that means okay the swats so that's like like swap meets no swap team swat southwest atlanta
Starting point is 00:10:28 okay is that like a nice area it's um it it could be it sounds terrible the way you said it it's a mixture atlanta's a place where you'll have some nice houses right by some shanties in my projects who is that pd pablo we were when we go to the song kuku cow kuku cow from atlanta no kuku cow is from milwaukee that's terrible wait no that's what they're doing in milwaukee robert knows all the snapple facts he knows like all the songs that everybody has forgot about I really enjoy you as a person You are a big music fan
Starting point is 00:11:20 Which is good Because a lot of music comes out of Atlanta This is very true What's one of your favorite producers That lives in Atlanta I think Jermaine Dupri Is very underrated You mean underrated by
Starting point is 00:11:35 What do you mean by that He doesn't get his due People don't know all the stuff that he did We know because he was in the music videos Run us through some of the things that you think people don't know about J.D.? Like, confessions is about him. Confessions?
Starting point is 00:11:51 Excuse me? These are my confessions. That's about Jermaine Dupri? That's about Jermaine Dupri. Usher was banging Jermaine? No, no, no. Like, Jermaine had a chick on his side. Who was he dating at the time?
Starting point is 00:12:05 Was he dating Janet? It might have been right before Janet. He got a lot of nerve. He is 4'11", nothing. And he cheating? He got side chicks? He's a genius. He looks like a troll, though.
Starting point is 00:12:16 He got baby beaver body, and he is cheap. He produced a lot of TLC songs. So because you produced Creep, you can creep on me? No way. Well, Creep was about Brian something. Dallas Austin, right? Dallas Austin. Yes, and he ain't shit either.
Starting point is 00:12:33 He ain't shit. He comes to my job a lot. Does he? Yes. He's one of those guys that doesn't know that he's black. I feel like he doesn't. So he's a Blair Underwood, if you will. A Terrence Howard.
Starting point is 00:12:44 Wait, what? A Taye Diggs, if you will. Where did this come from? Blair Underwood? Uppity Negro realness. What? He's like, you know what I like? I like when your hair is straight and long.
Starting point is 00:12:59 He's the one that plays the black interest in a lot of black movies, but then you see him out. Y'all talking about characters, but y'all saying- No, no, I'm talking about Blair Underwood in Fuel Life. Yeah, he'll talk about, he'll be all black love, and then you see him out, and you'll be like, is that a Susan? Is that a Rebecca? He'll be out dating Susan Sarandon. That's what type of woman. He likes an older, elderly white woman. Oh, I was going to say
Starting point is 00:13:21 he'd be out with a Taylor Swift wife. Susan Sarandon, because you know she got cleavage all day. I don't even know where you find out personal information about them. Instagram. Yeah. And WikiLeaks. It was in the WikiLeaks family thing. It was a baby man? Hillary was like,
Starting point is 00:13:37 you know, Blair, the one slitting my teeth? that's exactly oh i have it uh let's wait so you said he's underrated was like name three songs that were like the top song or three albums that you're getting or three careers that you think that he like absolutely okay well he was cut out of the tlc movie i i get why they couldn't find they couldn't cast that role they were like we ain't no trolls available uh all right the pit bull looks terrible in this way i mean jagged edge let's get married do you think he gets residuals for that song definitely okay well he also was like a big
Starting point is 00:14:19 part in mariah carey's career too yeah well that's right back uh yeah the emancipation of mimi okay well that's when she was into like black people and she was very like in the urban circuit She was always into black people If you listen to Rescue Me There is a Big Daddy Can't be embedded into that song It's always like You know I'm a big Mariah Carey fan
Starting point is 00:14:40 But I don't know Rescue Me How'd that song go? That sounds like Harper Then y'all gonna have to pay That sounds like Harper Thank you Rob All we gotta do is move something Move something around
Starting point is 00:14:57 Anyway, in Atlanta, there was a huge So So Def billboard that said Welcome to Atlanta, and it was up there for like 20 years. Like the song Welcome to Atlanta was commissioned by the city of Atlanta. Like they paid for that song. Well, who was on the song? Ludacris was on it. Ludacris and Brandon Pree, and all they do is talk about all the clubs in Atlanta. Snoop Dogg. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:25 Snoop Dogg and Murphy Lee were on it. isn't he from st louis he's from st louis he got some nerve i'm gonna make it i know i know i like what happened to the remix rob can we talk about the remix briefly because the remix used to be like you heard a song it was hot and then the remix will come out and it sounded a little bit different but a little bit the same even hotter though and then mad cameos like that still exists no what's the last good remix that you cares about remixes now it's the same song they don't change the beat at all it's the same song they just add people to it or the first song the original song will have mad cameos in it too so you won't have a remix because
Starting point is 00:16:08 they already have 12 people on their motherfucking track or certain times there's songs that like i only know the remix and that's the only version that i know and then i'll hear the original and be like this sounds awful like let's get married i think we get or sleeping in my bed yeah those are totally different right man you pre-did that he did yes he did yeah i didn't know what do you want to dance i'm gonna make you dance so many like music out of atlanta though that's just like one so who do you think is like the best artist number one artist to come out of atlanta usher Yeah. Well, I mean, there's a lot of people.
Starting point is 00:16:47 We got T.I., right? It's Little John. I don't know if you'd go beyond OutKast. Oh. Well, I feel like they were the most talented, but I feel like, what have they been doing? Like, they broke up. Well, Andre 3000 is an actor now. At their reunion concert, it, like, shut the city down.
Starting point is 00:17:10 Oh, that's the only one. Well, it's not that hard to shut Atlanta down. don't y'all have like a parade like on peach tree street or something like that well that that was a thing uh freak nick did you ever go to freak nick i was too young for freak nick so i never i heard they didn't get it is it still like going on now the videos i've seen on youtube are incredible like i remember like it being on the news and then you know people being upset about it. Isn't Freaknit like Juve? It's like Juve.
Starting point is 00:17:44 It's like the West Indian Day Parade. Yeah, it's like the West Indian Day Parade. It's more aligned with Black College Spring Break. Yeah, so it's in line with Black College Spring Break. It didn't originate in Atlanta. It didn't? No, I think it originated in D.C.
Starting point is 00:17:59 I can see that. Really? Yeah, the Freaks be in D.C. It's sort of a different world where they're like, we're going to D.C. to go to Freaknit. and then yeah we're gonna have to google that we're gonna have to fact check that Roberto
Starting point is 00:18:13 but okay so Freak Nick was in DC so have you ever watched a video from Freak Nick and been like is that my mom like have you ever been like seeing your auntie twerking on somebody that she didn't know I don't know but definitely not my mom
Starting point is 00:18:30 oh so don't you dare talk about mother Hayes. What does Mama Hayes do? She's a teacher. You know, I thought you were going to say that. I don't know why. I just assumed that your mom was a teacher. Well, Rob is very educated. No, you never told me that. You have great diction.
Starting point is 00:18:46 You know big words. I guess. Yeah, and you have a collared shirt on. You have a poppier collar. He's polo down to the socks. Your shoes polo. Your polo polo. Wait, are those supposed to be tan boots?
Starting point is 00:19:01 No, they're polo boots. Those are polo boots. Yeah you're definitely from Atlanta Well yeah what's the I don't know because in New York You know we know what certain Labels people wear all the time What's the go to label in Atlanta Like growing up
Starting point is 00:19:16 I feel like stuff hits Atlanta at different times Yeah cause y'all still in like 92 Polo hit Atlanta at a different time Than it hit New York The same with like white tees Like white tees was a thing I think In the early 2000s in New York And in Atlanta we were like
Starting point is 00:19:32 we gotta make songs about these white tees. Yes, in my white tee. In my white tee. We have white tees. Oh my god, yes. That's true. Them franchise boys. Are they from Atlanta? I don't want to make people think that Atlanta's
Starting point is 00:19:48 I guess history or culture starts with hip hop because it goes back way further. Okay, well sure, let us know. Because, you know, it's like the birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement and Martin Luther King. It is. Black History Month, so please preach.
Starting point is 00:20:04 Speak out, kid. No, because, like, okay, Edgewood in Atlanta is popping right now. Like, that's where a lot of the young people go and hang out. But that's also, like, where Martin Luther King grew up. It's kind of, like, weird. I didn't know Martin Luther King was born. He was born in Atlanta? I thought he was born in Montgomery.
Starting point is 00:20:21 Born in Atlanta. Went to high school at Booker T. Washington High School. That's where my mom works. Lena Horne went to high school there. Like, that was the black high school. Look at you plugging all this stuff. look at you rob shout out shout out to lena horn yeah yeah there's a there's a there's a history of you know of course segregation and whatnot and southwest atlanta is where all the black people
Starting point is 00:20:43 were during segregation and since then they have branched out to the east side right is the black folks are gentrifying atlanta because when i think of atlanta i don't think of white people at all yeah are there white people in atlanta if so where are they feel like where are they in atlanta The white people are in Midtown, Alpharetta. The more north you go, they're white people. So theology is pushing them out of the stick. The white flight is real. Some are being pushed and then some are leaving.
Starting point is 00:21:17 How do we do that here in New York? I feel like you guys are pushing the white people out of Atlanta so fast that they're moving into Brooklyn. How do we do that in other states? Well, I mean, you got people coming in Atlanta, black people from all over the country. I feel like it's a capital of black people because you could just go there, have a home. You can have a black school. You can have everything. You could have a chateau charret for $12.
Starting point is 00:21:45 Chateau charret. I don't know about $12. Yo, when I tell you Kenya goes in on charret and be like her bootleg rundown castle she got going over there. You know what we're talking about, Rob? Yes. Okay, good. This is Real Housewives Talk. Okay.
Starting point is 00:22:00 I just wanted to see if you really were the expert. Yes. But the standard of living or the cost of living in Atlanta is cheaper than in New York. Yeah. And there's always been an Atlanta-New York connection. You know, I mean, if you think about it, if you're in Georgia and you follow the North Star, you're going to end up in New York. Right.
Starting point is 00:22:20 Is that how you got here? Yeah. South Carolina, you're going to end up in New York. No, I was not a slave. No, I'm just saying, did you follow the North Star? If you're in Memphis, Mississippi, you follow the North Star, you're going to end up in Chicago. So there's always going to be that connection. Okay, I'm going to make a quick confession to you guys.
Starting point is 00:22:37 When I look up, I can't tell which star is the North Star. There is no stars in New York City. We can't see them. Well, also, it was no light. Yeah. So you just saw stars. Yes, but they knew which one to follow. They knew enough astronomy to get them where they needed to go.
Starting point is 00:22:58 Or there was a bunch of slaves. The first wave of slaves, they just followed the Big Dipper. And they were like, oh, we at the ocean. We must have took a turn the wrong way somewhere. So there's some slaves that are lost. Well, because how do you just know which star to follow? North Star. Because Harriet told them.
Starting point is 00:23:18 Were you there? I feel like you were there with Harriet Tubman. No, I was not there. If you were, your skin looks amazing. Yeah. So what else do you think is a connection between Atlanta and New York? What else do you think? I mean, hip-hop originates in New York.
Starting point is 00:23:38 Absolutely. So MC Shadi was the first big Atlanta rapper in the 80s. And what song is that? Can you give us a little sample? What song is that? What song is that? Shake it Terrible
Starting point is 00:23:52 I don't know that song That didn't hit us The booty is like The national symbol In Atlanta Why are butts so big down there Why do y'all Why can't I have like a 26 inch waist
Starting point is 00:24:09 And a 26 inch butt Are the butts real down there What's the ratio to a fake I think they started out real the fake butts are gentrifying uh atlanta i mean you know there's an element of that but i mean i don't know there's people who come in town and be like show me where the fake butts are like there's no wait there's people asking for fake butt in atlanta what's the strip club what's the number one strip king of diamonds um to say that there's one strip club what's the
Starting point is 00:24:43 what's the one that you go to king of diamonds sydney i'm not asking you because you're not the expert thank you rob you're a man yeah what's the number one i'm gonna go where they i am people know me oh well you're okay so uh rick's cabaret that's where you're hanging out yeah in atlanta so it's not it's not weird to have like men and women i would go to a strip in Atlanta. We do that here. Yeah, I feel like I've seen that here, but I feel like that's always been a thing in Atlanta, as far as I can remember.
Starting point is 00:25:19 So, Rob, if money wasn't a thing, money ain't a thing, what strip club would you go to? I've never been to King of Diamonds. Because you don't have your money right. When you get your money right, man, we're going to King of Diamonds. I don't know anybody going. You know, like, I didn't, like...
Starting point is 00:25:34 Did you hear Rob? I couldn't catch a ride. I've been to Onyx plenty of times Onyx is great Sounds like beautiful black women Magic City What's the setup in the Onyx? Is it full nudity?
Starting point is 00:25:51 Yeah Yes Can you touch? Touch I mean with I guess reason and discretion Oh wow Obviously You gotta gently place that palm
Starting point is 00:26:05 How much money have you spent in a strip club in Atlanta? not a lot one time this guy was showing off to these girls and i was uh seeing one of the girls and so wait you were dating a stripper no no no no she was a waitress okay no no no she went to the strip club with her girlfriends and i went along and this guy was like a baller and showing off he gave me like a hundred ones and was like have a good time so he gave you money so he could hang out with the girl that you were dating? No, no, no. Her homegirl. Yes, but who left with your
Starting point is 00:26:41 girlfriend that night? We were in separate vehicles. Rob. He paid for my dances. Then we went to Waffle House. Let's talk about Waffle House. Let's talk about the food. What's the cuisine
Starting point is 00:27:00 in Atlanta? What's the go-to meal or plate? I feel like it's got to be the Waffle house you got i mean you have your waffle house okay you have your uh your jr crickets what's that that sound like they deep frying crickets what oh it's like it's small wings but they're like um they're all over the city you got your american deli what's that yeah is that a corner store it's a sandwich spot it's like a um a bodega imagine if people liked crown people do okay people like crown is terrible people like the way people talk about american deli and the way people talk about crown it's not the same thing yeah okay well like if you say if i say
Starting point is 00:27:45 i'm going to crown like i'm doing real bad but i'm hungry and i know the chicken will be cheap but still tasty okay that's what american deli is or american deli is like i like over fast food I want these wings like they do wings right in Atlanta like I don't like eating wings in New York like now Rob I'm gonna have to tell
Starting point is 00:28:11 you that you are a damn lie because we go to Popeye's a numerous late night tip yeah but y'all get strips yeah but that's not wings it's like chicken strips it's like a two piece chicken strips I'm not anti chicken in New York he's anti wings wings hot wings
Starting point is 00:28:27 But didn't we go to Crown Fries And get hot wings And what we got was not What you would get In the A But I paid $3 For 20 wings $3 for 20 wings
Starting point is 00:28:44 My nigga They should tell you everything That tells me that y'all was eating Baby mice You gonna Those $3 wings gonna be what you You know what I'm saying Did you or did you not
Starting point is 00:28:58 have a good time? I had a good time. Exactly. No, I had a good time. But what I'm saying is they are not hitting on nothing compared to wings in Atlanta. Okay, what's the flavors? How y'all prepping y'all wings? You got lemon pepper.
Starting point is 00:29:13 You got 10 piece, you know, mild. Hot. I mean, that's pretty basic. That's only three flavors. Yes. we went to we went to buffalo wild wings and it was pretty good there was like a curry something yeah the buffalo wild wings there was a thai there was a mango something like like heaven's
Starting point is 00:29:36 hot wings in atlanta oh heaven's hot wings like there's so this okay so you got a town hot wings right you said yeah you got american deli yeah you got what's the third one that you just said LT's wings Heaven's hot wings Damn Okay what's the best So y'all just be Eating wings

Starting point is 00:30:19 it's a lot of like I don't know if you would listen I watch enough music videos to see people be standing outside chicken spot getting numbers and what not in poom poom shorts this sounds so offensive and then they jump into a candy painted automobile
Starting point is 00:30:33 and they rot out cream on the inside clean on the outside yeah buddy it's Texas music oh I'm sorry shout out to Bun B is Bun B Texas is Bun B Texas though
Starting point is 00:30:49 yeah okay well it's one b that's all that wasn't no yeah no yeah we we don't have a texas expert yet but we're here with that we're gonna get one don't raise so rob when you got to new york what was the biggest difference for you like the biggest like oh this ain't i ain't in atlanta no more what was that what's the thing in new york besides wings that you were like honestly wings was rob i feel like maybe wings are the key to your heart but like what about everybody in Atlanta. Like, when people from Atlanta come to New York, what are they missing? They're like, damn, I wish I was in Atlanta for
Starting point is 00:31:24 X, Y, and Z. I mean, okay, I'm not like, uh, we don't have a huge Hispanic population. Okay, okay. So you miss not hearing no Spanish then. I hear that. You don't want to hear no bidi-bidi-bamba, no Salinas.
Starting point is 00:31:40 I got it. The Hispanic people that live in Atlanta are Mexican. Ooh. And here you got Puerto Ricans and Dominicans Yeah there's not a lot of El Salvadorians Dominicans and not a lot of
Starting point is 00:31:56 Hispanic people that feel comfortable saying The n-word That is true In New York I do say the Spanish people Are very comfortable where they think That they're that black I mean y'all are black Spanish people sidebar are the first ones to be like
Starting point is 00:32:14 Me no black mami I Spanish And then they'd be like, nigga, nigga, nigga, nigga. But also in New York... The West Coast is the same, too. Also in New York, though, I caught an Asian dude dropping N-bombs. Where? Just randomly, like, walking out
Starting point is 00:32:29 of, I don't know, he was walking out of a rainbow or something. And I was like, whoa, what new? And, like, is it China that nigga means that? No, that's nigga. But he was talking to his friend, and he was like, I'm telling you, though, my nigga. And I was like, no, that's what we're not gonna do.
Starting point is 00:32:45 So if you're from Atlanta and you hear a Spanish person say the N-word, you ready to pop off because you're like. I'm not the pop off type. Yeah, you're definitely, you pop your collar before you pop off. I got you. But the culture is I would imagine someone would pop off. In Atlanta. In Atlanta. I doubt that someone would feel comfortable doing that in the presence of.
Starting point is 00:33:08 True N-words. I was in Atlanta a couple years ago With a bunch of my homegirls And we went to Hooters Do y'all do Hooters down there? Cause I went to Hooters Twin Peaks No I didn't go to Twin Peaks
Starting point is 00:33:21 That's where the girls have pointy boobs No it's where like I don't know I went to the Hooters here and it was quite tired I wanted my money back for the wings No we went to Hooters and then we went to What's the like Downtown like the downtown mall That like is in like a
Starting point is 00:33:37 underground we went to the underground underground used to be popular we went and then we were all talking one day and this dude heard us talking and he was like oh because we were saying all our e's and our r's and he was like oh black girls can't be black girls no more and he's like whatever he's he like tried to mock us and we were like but you don't know us fool and we were trying to be it was like old school slang that we were like throwing at him you sucker you old rascal anyway so he was making fun of us
Starting point is 00:34:10 because he thought we didn't sound like black women why do y'all shame why do you do that Rob I don't do that I'm more the victim of that give us some stories I don't know
Starting point is 00:34:26 because I guess because my parents didn't want me to sound like riff raff yeah well your mother's a teacher and I listen cause I feel like my sister would turn it on and turn it off yeah I mean that's how we did it at my house side note
Starting point is 00:34:40 your sister I love her sister oh she's quite cute Google her face if Rob was a girl Rob don't say that don't say that
Starting point is 00:34:56 she's way cooler than me no I see you guys on snap and you guys are like complimenting each other a lot. What does your sister do? Um, I don't know. Well,
Starting point is 00:35:07 if I'm not going to put my age out there, I'm not going to put all her business out there. No, I just want to know what she does. Is she a teacher? Is she still in Atlanta? Is she a performer? She's still in Atlanta.
Starting point is 00:35:14 She's a flight attendant. Oh, he didn't want to tell you because she's going to ask for some buddy passes. I know what it is. I know what it is. You don't want to give us
Starting point is 00:35:22 the connect. What airline is she working for? Don't worry about all that. She, uh, she working this weekend. Well, that's great.
Starting point is 00:35:29 so your sister would turn it on and turn it off and you just left it off yeah I don't think I was as good at code switching I was I guess I don't know I was a nerd you know I was a bit of a I wasn't the coolest guy and I think
Starting point is 00:35:45 a lot of the Atlanta-isms I kind of rejected for a while yeah can you give me some like Atlanta slang there's some words it's just like only in Atlanta that people say that What my name is What's that guy name
Starting point is 00:36:05 Come here girl Shoddy what my name is Shoddy actually helped me get my start in comedy No way Look at you Really Yeah I used to go to Uptown Comedy Corner Which is
Starting point is 00:36:22 On Marietta Street By Georgia Tech I love Shoddy He was a tip drill. Went to Georgia Tech. Works for CBS. What song is that, Rob? That same girl.
Starting point is 00:36:35 Yes, it do. R. Kelly and Usher. So tell us some slang. Let's see. I feel like. I know you don't speak it, but like. Where did Tenderoni come out of? What is that?
Starting point is 00:36:46 That is. That's the Isley Brothers, isn't it? I feel like that's a new addition. Yeah, that's Bobby Brown. Yeah, but where did Tenderoni. Listen, I was in Vegas. and this dude who looked like T.I. from Atlanta came up to talk to me and we were chit-chatting
Starting point is 00:37:00 he asked me how old I was I told him he said oh I got me a little tenderoni and I was like he must be 93 years old there's no way this old man yeah he said don't connect us to that he was from Atlanta
Starting point is 00:37:16 and someone with a Braves hat said tenderoni put him on my city right there he got nothing to do with Atlanta I'm giving him to you because he looked like T.I. No, Bobby Brown's from Boston. Is that where Bobby's from? You didn't see the movie?
Starting point is 00:37:31 No, we missed out on that. I saw the last night. In the first place, Bobby Brown got arrested. Oh. What other trivia do you have about Atlanta? Because it's the Bible Belt and he was gyrating.
Starting point is 00:37:47 He got arrested for humping. He got arrested for humping and not doing concave? He was high. He got arrested for high. Atlanta's in the Bible Belt, but y'all got all the strip clubs. Yes, but they're closed on Sunday, so the strippers can go to church. Well, what day of the week was Bobby gyrating on? Because it probably wasn't a Sunday.
Starting point is 00:38:04 It might have been a Saturday night turned into Sunday. Listen, it was probably a Thursday. You know, listen, they said he got locked up for gyrating, but it was really for doing cocaine. You know what? I'm not going to gyrate. His nose was gyrating on some lines. Yes, it was.
Starting point is 00:38:18 I'm not going to talk to you about it. Is gyrating the new term for cocaine? Gyrating means twerking on some blow What else do you know about Can you give us some more facts I think All the liquor stores are closed on Sunday That's terrible
Starting point is 00:38:35 What's the drink of choice That the black folks drink in Atlanta Because in New York it's Can we say it at the same time One, two, three Hennessy So is that the drink of choice Yeah I feel like
Starting point is 00:38:51 you know, the internet is causing a lot of stuff to be similar. But wait, didn't Ludacris was his conjure or something? Didn't he have a liquor? Did that ever take off? Nah. He's going to say a no. Ludacris, that's a no for the conjure.
Starting point is 00:39:07 We was, you know, Ciroc during the Ciroc era. You know, I mean, like, there's a lot of, uh, what's the little thing with the little sippy cup top? Scissor? no it was like pink oh nuvo nuvo yeah it was popping like it's just you know i mean i what i can say is in atlanta people are willing to let trends go fast like them apple bottom jeans
Starting point is 00:39:34 things don't stay like a long time so like yes the dab came out of atlanta but the dab might have lasted like three months because white people started doing it as soon as white people start doing stuff. We were like saying things. We're all set. We gotta come up with something new. And like, you know, hit them folks. I mean, there's so many dances. There's so many trends. But you know, they're here today and they're
Starting point is 00:39:58 gone tomorrow. Okay. So now my, so you said dance. Music in Atlanta seems very dancey to me. It's either like cheesy or like you're a soldier boy. Is soldier boy from Atlanta? He's from Mississippi. Okay. Well,
Starting point is 00:40:14 you know where everybody from. Maybe that's what you should have been the expert on but i feel like a lot of those dance songs come out of atlanta so dancing is like a really really big part of everyday life down there yes and it's and it's an answer to crunk because like crunk people are getting hurt yes they were people were just like overzealous crunkers yeah like you like ready to fight fight music you know Nuck If You Buck I thought people were having seizures
Starting point is 00:40:46 East Side vs. West Side when they were doing a stomp if you don't give a damn we don't give a like that song was too much because people would be stomping in their Timberland boots in New York City and I'm like you are fucking up my pinky toe now give me my pinky toe back
Starting point is 00:41:03 there was a whole era of songs that were like East Side vs. West Side and people on the East Side swear they hated people on the West Side east side and the west side that dates back to like a whole thing but
Starting point is 00:41:17 where is Bone Crusher from? it materialized in the music yeah but that's like back in the day when people would like dance battle they put the cardboard down and like they would battle but these weren't dance battles these were fights like a lot of parties would end in like gunshots well I mean you know you're not at a good party if it don't end in gunshots
Starting point is 00:41:34 I feel like all the best parties ended with like somebody you know i think somebody not being able to go to the no chase like clean with it rock with it the motorcycle what's the motorcycle uh dro young jock it's going down jock what are you trying to sing a lot of people embrace those songs because it was like this is a way better way to party than oh we loved those songs up here you know putting on and trying to be tough and macho and hitting each other have you especially like especially when you get to college and you get to like spaces where all right no one here is really a thug yeah here's really trapping so why would we
Starting point is 00:42:21 push each other in the club when we can all snap and have a good time yeah i feel like a really a lot of good dancers come from atl right sierra's from down there ain't you sierra yo and she literally shuts it down i wish that she was still like dancing because when she did my goodies she's pregnant i mean i've seen a lot of pregnant women dancing on instagram i'm sure yes those people don't have the sierra uh matrix you can't matrix with the baby belly popping out you matrix because the baby's just like future from atlanta of course he is future we don't speak of that here you don't say sierra and then say future right after we don't do that now i'm surprised i haven't said future yet what do you feel about um the like scissor the lean i feel like that was going
Starting point is 00:43:09 really hard in atl because of the rappers but not really because of the people there yeah um i mean i've never sipped lean i kind of regret that i never did oh my god rob the big surprise for you we've got a case of lean no we don't you just you're just in luck because we got some lean in our bags you are in luck there is luck there is lean in this thermos but uh no i do i do uh it it was a huge thing and it's still there's still people who like so even though it's illegal. Like, somehow, even though you can't get this stuff over the counter. I mean, Lil Wayne fucked it up for
Starting point is 00:43:48 everybody. I mean, he was just getting leaked out. Well, and not only that, he even put, like, instructions on YouTube. Like, he taught people how to do it, and it was like, oh, man. So what is it? It's cough syrup. It's a mixture of promethazine and codeine. And what is promethazine? Is that a cough syrup?
Starting point is 00:44:04 It's a chemical that's in cough syrup. Okay. And then what's what, and then what's the other part of the? Sprite. Oh, codeine. what's what's coding coding's in a different type of cop syrup so like one gives you an upper feeling one gives you a downer feeling and then spray so the mix coding is expensive and so is uh yeah like you have to have really good insurance to get these items type of hood pharmacist scientist was mixing these things and was like yo you know what this is my cold went away i'm
Starting point is 00:44:37 no longer congested but also i'm feeling real high and low at the same time lean someone in texas yeah it's a texas thing but then it became like a southern thing so then you know rob you have all of the answers it came right across that bible belt i mean i'm i'm you know no matter what it is i'm gonna be a nerd about it like no matter you know i'm saying no matter how cool it is even if it's like drugs and hip-hop and strip clubs, I'm still going to be nerdy about it. I feel like you make it sophisticated, though.
Starting point is 00:45:09 Yeah, drugs, hip-hop, and strip. Yes, that's all we've been talking about today. Why can't we talk about something else? I've been trying to, you know, bring in little things about the civil rights movement. He did drop that, and you were like, next! You were like, what?
Starting point is 00:45:26 But what about Lil Jon, Robert? Have you seen him? And the East Side Boys. So what are the East Side Boys? That's Lil Jon and his crew. They had this song, I Like Them Goods. No, I don't know that song. In 1999.
Starting point is 00:45:43 A lot of songs didn't make it out. A lot of people don't know. Didn't make it out of Atlanta? Yeah, like Kilo is a legend in Atlanta. Are you trying to say C-Lo? No, Kilo. What's the Kilo song? You don't know who Kilo is?
Starting point is 00:45:55 Sing a song. Love in Her Mouth. love in her mouth I don't think you can say that on air what is that love in your mouth what happens in a bible belt anyone south of maybe DC to like
Starting point is 00:46:11 Texas probably knows love in her mouth can you give us the chorus love in her mouth love in her mouth love in her mouth Rob that's a real song that shot in your mouth yes you can put it in your mouth yes oh my goodness but that's not
Starting point is 00:46:34 the put it in your mouth no that's akanele he's from queens he's from queens he's i'm appalled akanele how dare you he gave me some southern who's somebody that people normally mistake for being from the south that they're actually from like designer is one okay right where's he from he's from brooklyn that ain't what brooklyn is he don't represent he don't represent my brooklyn he's like a like autistic brooklyn yes because i don't know what he's been on too much link his ass burgers brooklyn who's somebody else that like people normally assume is from somewhere from down there but they're from up here we could go through
Starting point is 00:47:22 some names. I thought Nelly Nelly's from St. Louis Nelly's from St. Louis. But he gives me Atlanta vibes Is it the band-aid? But no, I mean I don't know, he was repping St. Louis so hard, I don't know
Starting point is 00:47:38 I mean all I remember is it's too hot in here, that's all I remember When Nelly came out, you gotta remember everyone in Atlanta had braids yes corn rolls that's how we knew he was like he's from somewhere else cause it's
Starting point is 00:47:54 2000 where your braids Rob did you have braids in 2000 I have braids oh man do you have a photo I don't you need to find this photo we gonna go to your mom's school we gonna go to Washington and ask her for a photo we can't get this on Facebook
Starting point is 00:48:09 no I'm trying to picture your head with braids And I don't see it I'm trying to picture it too but I don't see it But you know what the Super Bowl just passed You know like a week or two ago Can we talk about some of the Sports teams coming out of Atlanta
Starting point is 00:48:27 What teams are good Obviously the Falcons are terrible The Braves Like they During my childhood won their division Every year I feel like I remember the Braves being like the Yankees David Justice
Starting point is 00:48:44 Was with Holly Berry. It was a great time for the Braves. Oh, he was a baseball player. Wasn't he beating her ass? Wasn't he the one who made her death? He beat her ass. That's a lose. I'm sorry. That's an L. We had to take it there. That's a big L.
Starting point is 00:48:58 I didn't. Okay. Deion Sanders played both on the Falcons and the Braves. Deion Sanders. Is he still married to Pilar? Is her name Pilar? Yes, it was Pilar. Didn't he have a dance? He had a dance.
Starting point is 00:49:13 How do you do it? prime time. Let me see. I mean, I... Maybe for the video. You know what? We'll show you. We want you to do that for the test. Yes, for the test we want to see... The prime time. The prime time, yeah. And then what other teams are coming out of Atlanta?
Starting point is 00:49:28 You got the Hawks. What's the basketball team? Oh, Hawks. Hawks and Falcons. I really like birds down there. Hawks, Falcons. Is that like the... We had a hockey team, the Thrashers. Is that a bird as well? Mm-hmm. Is that like the bird is the symbol
Starting point is 00:49:43 for Atlanta or what is that um I mean I don't know uh Georgia's a peach state yes there's a lot of peach stuff a lot of peach trees and but I don't know there's a the more the older I get the more I like notice and see birds but I don't think I like realize when you say birds are you talking about thoughts yeah are you talking about young ladies when you say birds you mean No, I'm talking about actual, like, hawks and, like, they're actual, like, big birds in Atlanta. Big bird. Okay. Okay, so let's see if you really are truly the expert in all things Atlanta.
Starting point is 00:50:26 I think you are because you know, like, the little things and the big things, too. Like, there was a lot of random stuff that was like, man, Robert L. Hayes knows all of that. I don't know. Could you give a tour in Atlanta? I could probably give a good tour. So, like, if we go to Atlanta and you're there... Where are you taking us? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:46 Okay. What do y'all want to do? Not to your house. We want to not spend any of our New York dollars. Oh, you could definitely do that. In Atlanta? How? How?
Starting point is 00:50:58 Okay. First, we're going to go to Peter Street. Okay. That's over by the AU Center, by the Georgia Dauntless, by Morehouse Spellman. Oh, okay. Yes, yes, yes. I'm here for that. and uh there's plenty of stuff to do over there you can hang out post up it's like a strip wait
Starting point is 00:51:17 you just said post up we don't post you just want us you just don't want to spend no money you got post you want two queens what else y'all gonna do we want people to buy stuff for us okay well yeah that can happen there's bars there's uh so basically it's like just stand around you might see on love and hip-hop atlanta on peter street that show a lot of the places where they meet up and they have like, you know what, let's talk about where they throw drinks and stuff. That's where that all happens. Have you seen Joseline?
Starting point is 00:51:47 Have you ever seen Joseline? No. Oh, Hernandez? Yes. No, I have not. Isn't she from Puerto Rico? Or Miami or something? She's the princess of Puerto Rico. Oh, how dare you spit us with that terrible ass title. She is no
Starting point is 00:52:03 princess in our town. Stevie, Stevie, Stevie. Okay, Rob, we're going to have you put the glasses is on and we're gonna start this quiz ready oh y'all done all right yeah yeah yeah you can still talk oh the tour you can finish i was like when you said book stuff i'm not interested that's like where the uh like the mcconans of the world like yeah who's the mcconans on a tuesday on a tuesday like leah so we can only hang out with them on our tuesday or how does that work no does it work out on the other days of the week like more unique eclectic crowd
Starting point is 00:52:41 would be oh so we're gonna get robbed okay cool no and eclectic at the same time and then and then i probably you know go towards maybe uh the l bar or mjq no it's um the l bar is like it's a cool spot it's um it's kind of like a little underground spot they play a lot of uh a lot of like unique hip-hop you wouldn't normally hear in a club mjq would we like it like i think y'all would like it i think y'all would like it all right i'm coming in i'm sitting right next to you right now then we'd have to probably get something to eat so then we probably hit up uh either a waffle house or... Rob, are you going to pay for us or do we have to use our own money?
Starting point is 00:53:34 I feel like Waffle House is like $12 for all three of us to eat. No, no. I know how to crank that Waffle House for like $5. Really? Crank that Waffle House? Yes. Wow. Okay. Yes. How do you crank that Waffle House for $5? Maybe go ahead and put these glasses on. Okay, what I would get if I was only trying to spend $5 is
Starting point is 00:53:49 a bacon, egg, and cheese on raisin toast. That way you get show. Raisin toast? I've never heard of that. That way you get like, you know, you're salty, but you get your sweet at the same time. That's savory. Savory and sweet. Wait. I don't think they have raisin
Starting point is 00:54:06 toast in New York. No, they do. Cinnamon raisin toast? But, you know, they don't have it in New York. It's apple butter. And you get the apple butter put on there. You're making me so hungry, Rob. This is ridiculous. Me so hungry. Apple butter? Okay. I think we need to get on.
Starting point is 00:54:22 We need to go to Atlanta. What's a good flight that we could take that would be really cheap? Um, it depends on the airline. Like I got a, I got a flight on a Frontier. Frontier. For like $70. That sounds like a bus.
Starting point is 00:54:39 That's Oregon Trail. But it wasn't, it was a plane, you know. Never heard of that bus. Wow. Okay, Rob, expert of all things Atlanta. Can you name five famous people from Atlanta that we haven't already named yet? Five famous people that we have not named yet. We've named basically everybody.
Starting point is 00:54:59 Everybody. Everybody in the club. Evander Holyfield. Oh. Okay. Okay. Damn, Rob. I know, I know, I know.
Starting point is 00:55:18 We've said Ciara. We've said Jermaine Dupri. We've said Future. We've said TLC. Nah. We've said Jagged Edge. Okay. Goody Mob.
Starting point is 00:55:26 Cee Lo Cee Lo Goody Mob is that I'm so sick of being lonely now that's Phil Mob
Starting point is 00:55:36 is that are they from Atlanta I'm so sick of being lonely every night with my man cause I
Starting point is 00:55:44 with his homies I love that song I'm gonna put that on my phone yeah they're from Georgia
Starting point is 00:55:49 we'll take Georgia who else is from Georgia Coretta Scott King Loretta Devine Marie Get Out Nene Leakes Nene is from Athens
Starting point is 00:56:00 She's from Athens Um Hold up hold up Okay but Candy is from Atlanta Oh yes Candy Don't think I'm not in here Feeling good in somebody's spot Don't start making hot
Starting point is 00:56:16 Don't make it hot Rob I think you got five Young Jeezy Snowman Okay Besides the Jermaine Dupri Welcome to Atlanta remix, what's another song
Starting point is 00:56:31 that is specifically like could be an anthem to Atlanta? Okay, I just had an argument about this. I feel like there's people who are Nuck If You Buck people. Yes, but I don't like that song
Starting point is 00:56:47 because that's where people in 10 boots step on people's shoes. I don't like that. But then there's Young Yola I Just Don't Give Up. And I feel like How does that go?
Starting point is 00:57:01 I feel like you don't like everyone in Atlanta knows every single word to that song. What song is it? Oh wait, no, it's not I Just Don't Give Up. It's I don't even know what the name of the song is. But you said everybody in Atlanta I can tell you all the words.
Starting point is 00:57:16 Can you hit us with a verse? Hit us with the chorus. Let's go. I ain't gonna let them No, I ain't gonna shut up No, I ain't gonna let them But I ain't gonna let them haters get to me Oh, no, no, don't let them get to me
Starting point is 00:57:31 That song sounds terrible. Oh, it's not. Oh, it's not. It's nothing like being in a club and putting both your middle fingers up and singing all the words. It's great. I just don't give a no, no, no
Starting point is 00:57:44 Is it like when Notorious B.I.G., that song, One More Chance, is it like that? no it's like uh like when juicy comes on yeah like when like uh psa by jay-z comes on like allow me to reintroduce myself like that moment like okay dj is falling off they need to get everybody back they play that young yola everybody just gets yola is a girl no it's a dude oh i don't know him what about rocco what's that is he from atlanta yeah okay so do you have another question yes i want you to name five cast members from the movie atl
Starting point is 00:58:24 because that's because that's that's how we learned about atlanta that's how we prepared for this interview you know what atl is a fictional movie okay well just saying that you tell us you didn't skate here today hit us with the hit us with the cast members i mean like skating was the thing but like we didn't even talk about like the whole skate culture listen I don't want to hear none of that just answer the question we saw the movie we know everything we need to know about it no no so you're saying you don't know any of the cast members
Starting point is 00:58:54 no I mean I can name you T.I. and you know what I'm saying Tracy Ellis Roth brother and you know me Jason Weaver Nunu Laura London come on come on we talked about him earlier
Starting point is 00:59:09 I don't know who was that in the movie Nunu Daddy I don't know who that was But I was looking for Big Boy. Wasn't he in that movie? Let's stop. Yeah, that's my favorite part. There was Evan Ross, Jackie Long.
Starting point is 00:59:22 You forgot about Jackie Long. Who's Jackie Long? I didn't. ATL was not like a favorite movie of mine. You know Monica was in it? She was? And you forgot the twins. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:32 That was two members right there. Yeah, and Tasha Smith. You forgot about Tasha Smith? Mm-hmm. She was the big butt girl's mom. ATL was not like one of my favorite movies. Okay, so what's wrong with ATL? I thought that that's how you guys talk.
Starting point is 00:59:45 everybody had a light skin annoying brother I mean your sister does so like you're so rude Rob is not annoying it sucks that we like being reduced to like like a
Starting point is 01:00:00 one movie what's a movie that's good that's from ATL because we have like Crooklyn we have a lot of we have to do the right thing I feel like a lot of the Atlanta stories have yet to been properly told
Starting point is 01:00:16 so you're saying there's no movie to when I see Diary of a Mad Black Woman and that depiction of Atlanta I'm always like that like it's something off about it
Starting point is 01:00:32 well it's a Tyler Perry movie that's why that's what's off about it I'm trying to think is Tyler Perry from Atlanta yes Tyler Perry is from Atlanta you didn't name him how do you feel about Tyler Perry I was on the spot I don't know
Starting point is 01:00:48 yeah but how do you feel about Tyler Perry cause you know we don't really F with him I'm not a big Tyler Perry fan but I know people who are like huge Tyler Perry fans cause they respect what he's doing he's giving people jobs people used to bring his DVDs to school
Starting point is 01:01:03 on that day where the teacher would be like anybody got some movies we can watch some movies wait in Atlanta at Booker T. Washington y'all allowed to bring... Can I have somebody throw in a tape? Y'all don't have to bring in a VHS.
Starting point is 01:01:18 Y'all never had a movie date? Yeah, but the teacher bought those movies. No. We never bought movies from home. How's the teacher gonna watch some good movies? Well, I saw Free Willy at school. I remember one day this girl brought in Baby Boy and we watched it because it sounds like a kid's movie. Oh, yeah. No, the teacher should have gotten in trouble for not Googling.
Starting point is 01:01:37 Yeah, she should have reviewed that. It's before Google. No, Baby Boy came out in 2000 something. Yeah, but you could just look at the cover of it and be like, Tyrese? Also, there's a rating on the movie that plays right before the movie starts. That's true. When we got real quiet, we were so behaved. Because you were like, we don't want to watch that.
Starting point is 01:02:03 But then she was like, all right, someone brought in this movie. Baby boy. Everybody got real quiet. And the teacher probably looked all, like, prestigious and, like, a good teacher. He's like, we're going to watch Baby Boy. In my mind, all the teachers in Atlanta have tiny waists and fat butts. Did you have a teacher like that? Did you not have a teacher like that?
Starting point is 01:02:23 The teacher be like, meow. Did I or did I not? You just asked two different questions. I'm asking, did you have, because I'm assuming you did not, I'm assuming all your teachers looked like that. No. You had a fat teacher? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:35 Well, it's also Atlanta. I feel like there's fat people down there, too. it's a place they're human beings people of all shapes and sizes and alright so we wrap that up and the last question for me is I need you to do three dance moves
Starting point is 01:02:49 from Atlanta alright let me step off to the side I don't like this y'all don't make anybody else dance we made Donella Rollins eat baby food we didn't make you eat anything okay do two dance moves
Starting point is 01:03:06 You dance a lot, Rob. I know, but there's no music playing. Okay, what song do you want me to play? Do you want me to sing something? No, we don't want you singing. Some little ya. Some little yola. Little mishi.
Starting point is 01:03:19 What's the song? What do you want? Dim Franchise Boys. I bet you care too, like me. Oh, are they Young Twins from Atlanta? Young Twins. What are they doing now? Are they working at Walgreens or something now?
Starting point is 01:03:32 I don't know what they're doing. Marie, can you do it? Because you know I ain't got no data. The Yang Twins have multiple lives, it feels like. I feel like a lot of people come out of Atlanta, drop that one hot song for the summer, and then we never hear from them again. But sometimes it takes a lot to get to that one hot song. So we've been hearing these people for the longest.
Starting point is 01:03:55 Oh, y'all have been hearing them. We just haven't been. Yeah, so someone like the Yang Twins have a bunch of songs before From the Window to the wall that like we were listening to. So we were supposed to I can't pull a song up my sister. It was a different time. There wasn't you know, it wasn't streaming. It wasn't like
Starting point is 01:04:15 now where like if you go viral people could just find all your stuff immediately. So there's just some stuff that just got lost. There's just some stuff that just didn't make it out. Didn't get promoted. Is Jaquan Atlanta? He's St. Louis.
Starting point is 01:04:31 I'm just saying names of people that I haven't heard from in a long time. okay let's go you can't dance to this what is that that's another few butt pants that is a terrible
Starting point is 01:04:45 dance move have you never seen people in New York do it I didn't know that we do it all the time we do it Rob
Starting point is 01:04:55 are we doing it that's a terrible dance move like that make that looks like you want to start a fight that's what the song is you know what if you brought me what just caught on to that okay well we probably gonna have to wrap this up yes we do before we go do you have like a grit recipe that you can share? Because I feel like grits are big in Atlanta. I don't know what's up because I feel like I didn't have to do as much
Starting point is 01:05:32 work to grits in Atlanta that I do up here. I don't know what's up. It's something in the water. I feel like in Atlanta where you guys just have like a little butter, a little sugar. They got that apple butter. They have butter and sugar and that's it. Apple butter is like sweet. You don't put that in grits. Some people put
Starting point is 01:05:48 sweet stuff in their grits. Yeah, some people put like honey. All right. He's like, we're doing it wrong. You know what I'm saying? I thought I was an expert, but clearly I should be quizzing y'all. No, no, no, no, no. Rob, you've been a great expert. You told us everything. Can you please tell everyone where we can reach out?
