Starting point is 00:00:58 That's crazy. Amina's a Taurus, ain't she? And what do you think about that, Marie? Y'all seem like best friends to me. To celebrate Black History Month this month, I was 15 minutes late to the podcast. Just 15? Just 15.
Starting point is 00:01:13 So she's pretty much early for Black History Month. Mind you, I will. Yeah. 15-minute grace period everywhere. The 15 minutes, I'm like, nobody's getting map after 15 minutes you lose your reservation yes you know absolutely and so that's fine they should implement that on flights as well i should have 15 minutes well they do they don't leave until 15 minutes before they push away from that gate before that time on a ticket that says take off
Starting point is 00:01:40 is when the plane is about to jump up they leave the gate before that well no they say they close the gate 15 minutes before the flight is supposed to take off so and you know what i haven't missed the flight in a while so god is good happy black history month happy black history shout out to you delta your raggedy beach oh delta we got a lot of things to like i honestly have a list of things that delta needs a list yeah well should we bring our guests in and then you can go through your list truly truly oh my god i mean to have a straight man in the building blasphemous blasphemous But, I mean, this bright fleece, it's actually, this is the queerest thing I've seen on you, Mouse. Girl, girl, you're queerer.
Starting point is 00:02:26 You just haven't been watching. Nah, we got Mouse Jones in the building. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I've wanted to be on your podcast for so long. Really? I just didn't want to ask. Here we go, Marie. This is what they do.
Starting point is 00:02:41 No, I don't like bothering people. and then I also have like I have an ego so it's like yo we friends in real life I be around y'all we be if y'all wanted me
Starting point is 00:02:51 on y'all podcast y'all would have said it I mean I had you on Why Are You Single you were a great guest fun times we had you on the list we had you on the list
Starting point is 00:02:59 keep me away from Amina because oh were you and Amina on the same episode you mean it was the Amina and Marie show it was Why Are You Amina and Marie
Starting point is 00:03:06 that was the Why Are You Not Amina Amina 1 2 but no I really did but I I don't like I don't bother my friends It's like listen
Starting point is 00:03:14 I see y'all in real life We hang out But I was like It looks so fun On that show Hey I'm honored To have a straight man
Starting point is 00:03:22 To talk about Man mess wit Cause I feel like I got a lot of questions The girls listening Got questions too Yeah And I just wanna
Starting point is 00:03:29 I don't wanna You know Make anything Like stressful for you But usually the people Don't wanna hear From straight men They don't
Starting point is 00:03:37 On the pod They don't I'm used to it Been straight my whole life I get it I've always got the exception. So when someone wrote in the comments, they saw Zach Fox,
Starting point is 00:03:49 they're like, I saw a man's name in the title and I almost skipped. But then I listened and I said, wow. I was like, first of all, how you don't know who Zach Fox is?
Starting point is 00:03:57 If that's the response to Zach Fox, I'm screwed. Nah. You guys might want to put this on the Patreon. Y'all might want to put this behind the paywall. Put it in the vault. Sneak it in there. Y'all just tag it onto the back of another episode.
Starting point is 00:04:11 No, and the Zach Fox episode was like top five episodes we've done of all time. So amazing. So, you know, there's hope for the strengths. Yeah. No pressure, no pressure about it. Do you remember the first time me, you, and Zach Fox did something together? No. So you remember
Starting point is 00:04:24 you guys had the show on Vice. Oh, right. And then guys next door we had just started and we were your guests. Oh, I forgot about that. And I didn't even, I didn't know at the time I didn't know who Zach Fox was. I just thought, like to me
Starting point is 00:04:40 me and Marie had met like during like NBC stand for diversity. Damn, years ago. We were online. To Marie being late, we all were late. We all were standing there and they were like, we shouldn't even let y'all in, but okay.
Starting point is 00:04:57 Well, because people were sleeping on the street. Yeah, I wasn't doing all that. It wasn't a sneaker release. I got there when I got there. Who wants to be on time to wait online? You might as well just get there late. And I thought I was getting there early because they said the doors open at like eight so when i got there at 7 30 i'm like oh i'm fine nah bro people had spent the night
Starting point is 00:05:18 camped out audition i'm like oh this is tough two minutes five minutes i don't even think it was i think it might have been two minutes something like that yeah but couldn't be me but i said i have to say wasn't me to me maria that's what i knew i knew you know how that goes like yeah i know marisa i'm like oh marisa star this shit like all right cool didn't know zach fox was a big deal probably wouldn't have changed what I said I met Zach through that show I didn't know who he was before that damn so we're all sitting on the couch and we're talking
Starting point is 00:05:46 and I think we were talking about like our age how old we are he said he was I think he might say he was younger than us and I was like audibly I was like oh yeah no he is younger wait yeah he's younger than us you're that old you're that young you're like yeah I was like
Starting point is 00:06:03 that's a rough 27 oh and Marie did that right there I didn't mean it now you're not going to do that this is before you stop drinking relax girl this is in the past he looks fantastic now
Starting point is 00:06:17 I don't stand I don't stand for any of this that's actually the opposite of mess if you're going to stand up on mess I'm happy to be here y'all are fire y'all know that
Starting point is 00:06:34 y'all could do a show on the moon I'll be there whoo look at you now you know already yeah and that's why I know you got you got girls girls girls girls girls all over the world actually on the moon too because he said if we didn't go on the moon he would go there I mean yeah I'm not gonna get a hotel on the moon I'm gonna be comfortable you're like oh the moon they know me over there I got bitches on the moon Airbnb up there I'm gonna be uncomfortable you think I'm gonna be on unknown sheets no I mean You're going to be doing a brand partnership on the moon. Soon.
Starting point is 00:07:11 That's how you do it. Away luggage. Away luggage on the moon. Ramona. Yes. Sydney, do you have some mess that you want to share with us today? Bitch, you know I have mess. You know.
Starting point is 00:07:22 Ooh, let's talk. Yeah. See, the thing is, is that you really have to, at the end of the day, you have to be like, it's me. Yeah. You can't point the fingers and be like, you, you, you, you, you. When every time at the end of the day, you're like, it's me. And so I had a birthday. I knew about this birthday.
Starting point is 00:07:44 Originally, we were supposed to. I knew about this birthday. We knew about this birthday. You have a birthday every year. Same day. Even switch days. Crazy things every year. Listen, after everybody's birthday, whoever's next are like, so what do you want to do for your birthday?
Starting point is 00:07:58 What are we doing? And so I was like, we're going to do a trip. we're gonna do a trip I said this in September I was like we're gonna do a trip right after Marie's birthday I was like
Starting point is 00:08:06 we're gonna do a trip man to like Puerto Rico something like something something light chill something that didn't
Starting point is 00:08:13 require a lot right a low lift a low lift no shade to Puerto Rico it's just I'm just saying no no no no
Starting point is 00:08:22 no no no it's a long flight yeah yeah yeah it's short like three hours I've been there before many times I went there by myself
Starting point is 00:08:32 You knew that Yeah I went there by myself Shout out to Bad Bonnie Bad Bonnie Bad Bonnie Okay Number one on top Okay
Starting point is 00:08:38 Grammys no And so I was like We're gonna do that Then Then Marie kept asking Okay girl When you wanna
Starting point is 00:08:45 When we gonna do this When you gonna look I said oh yeah I'm gonna look today And then today Turned into It's January And they're like
Starting point is 00:08:51 Okay Are we doing this trip Or no And then I was like No no We still gonna do it It's not It's not even
Starting point is 00:08:56 Gonna cost that much January is crazy Sydney's birthday Is February 2nd February 2nd I have a question. This is a question I've always wanted to ask people. Just never get the chance because two people are never together.
Starting point is 00:09:06 Marie, when you know, at what point in this full plan did you just accept like, oh, my friend, this isn't happening? Like, at what point do you do that? Well, I don't know if you notice, but Sydney is good for booking a flight the day before the plane leaves. Right, right. She's a last minute. That Puerto Rican culture. Yeah. I mean, I didn't want to spend to buy a ticket the day before we leave. But yeah, like a month out.
Starting point is 00:09:32 So you're always on. So you're always on go. I mean, I'm always like, it's always like it's just a case bag. 50 percent chance it's not going to happen. Well, when we went to Morocco, they had to do a conference call. And they were like, we're looking at the tickets right now. It's getting more expensive. They're like, pull your card out. You got to buy your ticket right now.
Starting point is 00:09:49 And I actually bought the ticket to Morocco on the on the phone. but Morocco is not a low lift trip that's not a low lift trip it's not and I think I bought the tickets yeah you gotta go see the embassy maybe you gotta make sure your paperwork is right
Starting point is 00:10:02 some weeks before you were there for like 10 days 10 days that's a long time yeah that was fire too that was fire to see like just seeing black women
Starting point is 00:10:11 just out there in the Sahara Desert doing cartwheels did you have I'll ask you off air you was gonna ask what her Morocco unit was listen first of all
Starting point is 00:10:19 I know you that's what I was gonna ask you coming here your face is bare you're beardless we're attacking a black man because I was just inquiring a black man attacked my friend and asked
Starting point is 00:10:31 what hair she wore to Morocco she wore a Moroccan unit that's all I was asking she looked like Princess Jasmine out there Arabian nights and they were doing that while we were on the dunes and we were like this is probably problematic
Starting point is 00:10:46 but we did it I did sing a whole new world on the camel's back did now that isn't racist that is the moment that's a universal song because why why else go to the desert and get on a camel if you're not going to sing that song right right okay questions i need answer so um obviously we realize we're not doing this trip and then um maybe a a week before my birthday i'm like all right i'm just gonna i know somebody i'm gonna set something up I could get it done. And then, I mean, Marie, you understand.
Starting point is 00:11:20 It's like planning is difficult, man. It sucks. It's because we are type B people. Yeah. And we're like, somebody else has to do this. I have the idea. Y'all figure it out. Yes.
Starting point is 00:11:31 Yeah. But the thing that, like, Amina's really good at planning. She's very quick. But we've all had to plan something. Well, they have planned stuff so many years. And they were like, Sydney, no, girl, you got to go through it. is that how he said it I mean y'all y'all were definitely like nah it's girl if this was the book tour that would have been the part that got the clap if that was the book tour that's the part
Starting point is 00:11:56 like they said Sydney you have to go through it and they would have been you gotta go through it you went through it I did it talk me through it yeah you have to like talk me through it because Because also it's like for me, I feel like as as annoying as it is to plan stuff, your birthday is kind of the easiest slash the hardest because you only you can only you can invite only the people that you like. You can do it as big or as small as you want to do it. Right. I mean, you did a big thing for your birthday. I have not seen anything. That's why I haven't talked shit about that.
Starting point is 00:12:32 I'm with y'all a thousand percent. There's so many ideas I'd be having for my birthday. Then the follow through, the two months come before and I'm like, one, I'm already annoyed because February, my daughter's birthday, my parents' anniversary and my parents' birthday. And Valentine's Day. He didn't even mention that. Well, he don't care about your birthday. Discretionary funds. Like, girl, get with it or get lost.
Starting point is 00:12:56 You don't recognize that as a holiday. I really don't. I really don't. That's a patriarchal holiday. Yeah, that's patriarchy. It's a pagan holiday. Whatever. whatever it is that's what i'm using but then january is my second oldest so i'm i'm getting
Starting point is 00:13:14 hit over the head so christmas christmas january all your february february and your birthday is what month my birthday is in april so i get to breathe in march still got paid rent still got paid bills isn't that crazy so it's like by my birthday i'm like nah yeah the only reason i did my party was because it was sponsored. If I had to deal with that. I love a sponsored party. That's what I was missing. Let me tell you something.
Starting point is 00:13:38 That's what I was missing. Because you could have easily got a sponsor. No, no, no. Because that means you got to ask. You got to reach out. Yeah, you got to ask and you got to post. And you got to post. And we know Sydney and I are posting.
Starting point is 00:13:49 Sydney's on a posting hiatus. It doesn't matter the month. It'll be the 13th of February. I'll agree to post. and then when it's time to post i'll be like damn this is embarrassing i feel like i'm bad and then they don't want just one post they want the story post and they want the post then you got to put the little ad i'm like bruh and then i'll do the story post i did them for my birthday
Starting point is 00:14:18 this year i just you know because we had gift bags but after i was done i was tired but the gift bags were so cute and but they were really really good but like you got to do it on time too you got to do it when they say yeah it's like oh you ain't gonna tell me what to do and it's like not during black history month and so to finally wrap this up yeah planning was really hard but also it's like i'm emotional i'm i'm in a certain you know age range and so your birthdays just change. They just change because in your 20s, everybody is down for anything you do. They're like, yes, yes, yes.
Starting point is 00:14:57 Anywhere you're going, or you want to have it on the bus, you want to have it at Six Flags, you want to do it night, day. In the snow. They don't care what season it is. It could be negative two degrees or it could be a thousand degrees. They're ready. Everybody got money, but we broke.
Starting point is 00:15:13 20s, people are down for whatever. 30s is like, well, you didn't have all your 20s, bitch. You trying to do something extra. We have the money for it, but do we have the energy? I'm going to go against that. I think celebrate all your birthdays. Oh, no, no, no. I'm just telling you. I'm just telling you how it goes.
Starting point is 00:15:28 I think, but to Marie's point, I only want to surround myself with people that's going to feel that way. Yeah. Like too many people and that's not like saying, that's not like down in the friendship. It's just like I know who to invite. I know who not to invite. I have to say, I wasn't invited. So clearly I was going to
Starting point is 00:15:44 I was waiting for you to say that. Wait, wait, hold on, hold on. Let me, I can't wait to drop the text messages that transpired yesterday. Right. Because you were like, oh, I was like, oh, my God, I thought I sent you the flyer. And he's like, well, I just assumed it was for the girls and the gays. So I didn't think that. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:16:02 The girls and the girls. That's what it was. You said girls and the girls? Yeah. Because I seen there was like girls there. So I was like, it was for the girls. I also, and y'all know I'm not bullshitting. I respect, what did I say to you?
Starting point is 00:16:14 I said, I respect everybody's safe space. if you only wanted to celebrate because all the pictures that was coming out it was all women and it was two girls and I was like it was more than two girls
Starting point is 00:16:24 I'm talking about who posted yeah I only said two oh so you're saying girls not person posted and they were like it was only two it seemed like a like
Starting point is 00:16:31 LGBTQ situation I mean sure but you know how I feel yes how you feel that's how you feel it depends on the day
Starting point is 00:16:39 with Sid like we don't know about Sid Sid's in the community but she has property outside of the community. Overseas?
Starting point is 00:16:47 Overseas. You know, that's why I was like... Cindy, don't cross them Dixies no more. Thank you. When you have to say no more, let me know. She's retired. I just want you to know
Starting point is 00:16:58 that sexuality is on a spectrum. I agree. And we need to just stop labeling ourselves so we can be free. Release the shackles. I agree. We should stop labeling ourselves.
Starting point is 00:17:08 Release the shackles. But other people are going to continue to label us for this life. And that's fine. Mouse, you a straight dude Yes, ma'am Valentine's Day is around the corner Is it?
Starting point is 00:17:18 Yeah I'm not going down that block Sure, sure, sure, sure But you've been down that block before Once or twice I've never been a fan of Valentine's Day It's gonna sound crazy I don't think men are a fan of Valentine's Day
Starting point is 00:17:30 I don't know if that's true Some of my niggas Lovers How they celebrate Valentine's Day They simps The way they act Can you give us a list of these simps? Just in case
Starting point is 00:17:40 You'll like this one I ain't gonna say a name I don't like any of them, but I'm just saying. Just let me say it. She's a mess. All right. But I have this one homegirl. She's obviously a lesbian.
Starting point is 00:17:52 Obviously. She shuts us down. She makes holidays unbearable. Like, her and her girlfriend, doesn't matter who she's with at the time, she's been with this girl for, like, five years. Every February, I'm like, I'm just going to mute you. Because, like, they're just, yo, like, just this year alone, just to ask her girl.
Starting point is 00:18:12 It's her girl. Just to ask her girl to be her Valentine. She went and got like a special heart pizza made. A special box. I said, bro. Papa John's or Domino's?
Starting point is 00:18:22 No, no, no. A real pizzeria. She went to a real pizzeria and said, yo, can you make a heart pizza? She went to Scars? She went to Scars. I don't know what pizzeria,
Starting point is 00:18:30 but here go the crazy part. The woman part of it, she said, she sent us like three different versions because it was like he messed it up. So she was like, uh-uh, no.
Starting point is 00:18:40 No, I said, you really have to make a mad pizza. She had to make three different heart-shaped pizzas. To land on a heart pizza. I said, that's tough. Well, I mean, the first one probably looked like butt cheeks. It did. The other one probably looked like, you know. None of the first couple looked like hearts.
Starting point is 00:18:53 But that last one, that was a heart. There's a charm. There's a charm. Because me as a man, I would have took the first one. And I would have, because I'm a straight man. You would have had a crooked pizza. And she would have accepted it because the effort. Y'all take crooked pizzas, but y'all got to be straight.
Starting point is 00:19:08 and it's just it's just like crazy what do you want the more crooked the pizza gonna be what do you want your pizza to be as straight as you at the end of the day but it's you're going to eat it sure this pizza isn't going you're not going to you know what i don't want rain no vice parade i'm glad that's what she did but yeah i got niggas that's loving niggas taking trips niggas is they gonna all out to propose to be a valentine day i'm like that's dumb propose to be a valentine it's yo it's crazy i'm telling you i didn't know we was doing that that's what i'm saying it's performative you get on your knee but the hood niggas no not like that you get on your knee to propose propose how do you propose to be you no not like pepperonis on
Starting point is 00:19:47 the pizza when you open the box no not like that but i'm saying like asking you to be like the whole asking your person to be no no they put the they got the they got the bubble letters balloons right many a time they're in the hotels it's obviously not a quality in they would not do such a thing But I have seen the videos where it's like, that's the Ramada. I know the Ramada. I saw one of those videos. I know the AC unit. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:13 The AC unit doesn't look white. I know that soap, that bar of soap. Yeah, that AC doesn't look quite happy. They didn't even fold the toilet paper into the triangles. Nope, sure ain't. That is straight rolled. You got to pick it. You got to pick it.
Starting point is 00:20:25 Like tape that I stuck. I know I'm in a bad hotel. That's immediately when I emailed the tour manager, hey, we shouldn't do this. We shouldn't do this ever again. I saw a video of one of those recently. This guy brought this girl into this hotel. Pictures of them and balloons and the flowers on the bed. And he was like, open your eyes.
Starting point is 00:20:43 And she opened her eyes and she was like, oh, okay. Biggest fear. She was like, it's nice. He said, it's nice. Biggest fear. He said, look what I did. Look at all the effort I put into this. And she was like, I got dressed up for my birthday.
Starting point is 00:20:56 I thought we were going out. And he was like, I did this for you. And she was like, so we can stay in? Yeah, to stay in and then bust it wide open for you because that's why you want all this stuff on the bed. You're putting the area down. Yeah, but it's my birthday. Take me out.
Starting point is 00:21:13 I'm dressed up. Once again, this is why I don't do not real holidays. Your birthday, Christmas. What do you want? It sounds like you got a lot of things you got to pay for and so that's why you can only do two. You got a lot of financial responsibilities. you got a lot of things tied up how do you say this yeah money tied up a lot of moving from your
Starting point is 00:21:36 check into your savings in the most you got moving out the life let me say like that life has been good sure for a really long time so that's not the issue right the issue is simply i don't like wasting my time so it's time your birthday in christmas yes you're only getting gifts if i really if i'm with you like define with you that's are you my girlfriend do i have an obligation to if i if you catch me doing something with somebody else am i going to feel like i'm wrong what what that is male male math if you catch me with somebody am i gonna feel wrong so if you don't feel wrong you're not my girlfriend you're not my girl sometimes you have to say it out loud so they could hear the dumb shit.
Starting point is 00:22:27 It made sense. Right, to you. But my ears were ringing when I heard that foolishness. That's because a man is talking. I'm glad you're self-aware. We talk about dating and stuff all the time, but what's the hardest thing about dating women in 2026? Nothing.
Starting point is 00:23:03 In modern years? Nothing. I don't know what these niggas be talking about. Using a condom? He had that locked and loaded. Using a condom? I mean, I'm not talking about everybody. I'm just saying for our guest today in the hot seat,
Starting point is 00:23:20 it would be a condom, right? I don't feel like this is a fair hot seat, though. Well, you have a couple of kids, don't you? If you look at my, if you look at the ages of my kids, you'll see, like, it ain't as crazy as it sounds. Sure. Like, you meet a nigga, you're like, yo, how many kids you got? Three.
Starting point is 00:23:37 Whoa. But when you realize my oldest is 18. Damn. How old are you, Mouse? Damn. I'm not old enough to have an 18-year-old. And yet, here you are. I'm going to be 19-year-old.
Starting point is 00:23:51 But, uh, no, I had my first, I had my oldest daughter when I was a senior in high school. Um, then I got, I dropped out of high school, went to the military. Oh, might as well. Right. Might as well. Senior year, you said, I'm almost done. I literally dropped out on my birthday. Like the minute, but my guidance counselor.
Starting point is 00:24:08 What a gift. No, my guidance. Yeah. I was, it was a gift to the school because the guidance counselor was over me. She said, you're not going to graduate? That's exactly what she said. She brought me in the office. She said, you're not going to graduate.
Starting point is 00:24:17 I said, nothing. She said, absolutely nothing. You said nothing? I said, like, no, because, you know, you hear everybody always talking, all the other fake bad kids, they like, like, that was the other thing. I would hang out with the bad kids, but I didn't know these niggas were really doing their work. Because you were the only one that didn't have nothing in your backpack.
Starting point is 00:24:32 You had the book bag. Because we all acting, we all acting bad. We all cutting. I didn't know these niggas were really going home doing their work. Yeah. So when it all came out, niggas like, oh, bro, all they said, I just had to do this and I can graduate. So that's what I thought this conversation was.
Starting point is 00:24:46 That lady looked me in my face. She said, Mouse? Because everybody called my nickname. She said, Mouse? That was your nickname from the beginning to the end. I didn't know your name was not Mouse. My nickname is Mousy. M-O-U-S-Y.
Starting point is 00:24:58 She literally looked at me. She said, Mousy? Mm-hmm. It ain't going to happen. Your guidance counselor said, let me speak to you in a language you understand. Mousy? It ain't going to happen.
Starting point is 00:25:06 It ain't going to happen. She said, you're only passing two classes. Whoa, which classes? Gym and what? Study hall? It was gym and English. English, you already got that. I had an 89 in English
Starting point is 00:25:18 And I had a 100 in gym A hundred in gym He loves pull-ups You know what I'm saying Like Happy Black New Year Minor looks Senior year
Starting point is 00:25:27 I majored in pull-ups Minors Minor in Minors sit-ups He said that rope Hate to see me coming Oh I know That fucking little
Starting point is 00:25:37 That shit The parachute The parachute Hated to see me I'm like let's do it Personality Dodgeball Are we playing ball
Starting point is 00:25:44 Y'all better be ready Yeah I'm doing coach's speeches. Get your shit together. 100 in gym is crazy. I don't think I've ever met anybody who had 100 in gym. Had 100 in gym. Shout out to McCaffrey.
Starting point is 00:25:55 He loved me. So I had 100 in gym. I had 89 in English. The fact that you remember these two scores so clearly means I know you were failing everything else. It was the highest scores I ever had. The crazy part is, in the beginning of senior year, they gave me economics, which was like a type of math. I said, did y'all not pay attention to all the other years? I said, y'all not fucking me over.
Starting point is 00:26:17 I took them. Y'all, it's you. Y'all not fucking me over. I went straight to the office. The first semester, I said, take this off. I told my mom. My mom was with it. That's how I know everybody, I'm not good at math.
Starting point is 00:26:28 I think I was in AP Economics. I'm not even going to hold you. Really? Yeah. I don't think, yo. I'm just being. Can't relate. She's the only woman I've ever heard say that.
Starting point is 00:26:37 Every girl I've ever met, AP, AP everything. I just knew niggas was dumb. So when I told them in the beginning of the interview, I said, take that. said take economics off the list i'm not doing it i don't need a math take it off you do need a math they told me i didn't because they said do you want to reach a diploma i said no i just want a diploma give me the regular give me the regular basic economy diploma you can give me with ads or without ads give me with ads give me the diploma with ads diploma with ads it's wild so they did
Starting point is 00:27:06 it and i still failed they took i failed science whatever the science they gave me i failed uh Well, to be fair, when's the last time you used science? Anybody? In here? I don't like this conversation. No, I'm just saying. Every day. You use science every day?
Starting point is 00:27:24 Every day. Wait. Do you know? You're checking the weather app? Yes. You're not using science. You're checking an app. When you go outside and you look at the snow and you're wondering why it's not melting?
Starting point is 00:27:35 I'm not using science to figure out the equation of that. Because it hasn't been over 32 degrees in two weeks. I guess when I'm looking at the window pane and I'm like, ah, the, the precipitation. Yeah. I don't believe you said precipitation. Sometimes I'm holding a fresh glass of something. Condensation. Condensation.
Starting point is 00:27:54 Condensation. Whenever, whenever I'm putting H2O in here, I am using, I am using. That is very performative. Yeah. H2O, right. H2O, right. Mm-hmm. You just let her do that.
Starting point is 00:28:06 You know, when I use science, when I'm in the back of a, when I'm in an Uber and they have that little game and it's like what what's this uh what's this periodic periodic it gets me every time i mean are you really into that yeah it gives me every time i'll be up i'll be up about 10 and then they start doing the flags and it goes or they show a picture and you're like uh is that marie marie well that's weird so you were going to your guidance counselor and you were like kind of bartering like you know i didn't barter so i said yeah i take because i didn't need the math so you don't want to graduate i didn't want the regents diploma let me so you said let me see the itemized bill and you were like yeah take that off take that off it was like
Starting point is 00:28:47 the second week of school i said y'all bugging like they started at first i thought i could do it it was that second week then they started hitting it was graphs i said my senior year bro i'm getting bitches y'all bugging right now bitches but you but you got an 89 in english I'm getting bitches See the thing is I'm getting bitches No it's not AAVE says
Starting point is 00:29:13 I'm getting bitches That wasn't on your course syllabus Listen At the end of the day I told you what wasn't on my syllabus That damn economics It got the fuck on and I still had to drop out And now you're here with all the words
Starting point is 00:29:29 And so yes We graduated you didn't graduate we're all in the same place we're all here do you even need to go to school we're all here no
Starting point is 00:29:37 you don't well definitely not to get a mic in your in front of you they should now that now that you should you should
Starting point is 00:29:45 there should be a test a standardized test racist all of that it should be just like every other test we had to take our life if you can't pass that
Starting point is 00:29:53 you shouldn't get a microphone you know like when you go to CVS or whatever you gotta hit a button for them to unlock the case to get out certain things microphones should be behind the case yeah mics should be behind the case
Starting point is 00:30:01 you gotta hit a button and say what you're about to use it for. I just want to talk to these females. You use females? You're out of here. I think it's like when you buy a gun, too. There's a test you have to take. I'm not going to lie to you.
Starting point is 00:30:16 It should be easier to get a gun than to get a podcast microphone. What? Now that's where I'm drawing the line. Now you just say anything. Podcasts are guns. I'm going to say it might be neck and neck. I'm going to say podcast.
Starting point is 00:30:32 That's what I'm saying. It might be neck and neck. I'm going to say podcast. I'm going to go podcast. Today. Today. But what came first, the guns or the podcast? I'm going to say the guns.
Starting point is 00:30:40 The words or the guns? The original niggas that wrote the Congress, that was just a podcast. Look at the first. Look at the first bill. Hold on. Look at the first bill of rights. They were just saying shit. The original niggas that wrote the Congress.
Starting point is 00:30:53 You got to go back to school. You got to. For English. For English. For social studies. Listen, the original niggas that was in there. I've been English. The original.
Starting point is 00:31:01 Yeah. The real nigga that was in there That was a podcast Just look at it A podcast with wigs Slaves, everybody should get them Yo, I agree If you look at the Declaration of Independence
Starting point is 00:31:12 What's his name? John Hancock was the producer of the podcast And he was the first mic You know what? He was the producer And he told me on the mic as well He was like, no, no, no, no Do that right there
Starting point is 00:31:22 Do that right there He said, let's get Benjamin Franklin in here Tell us what your mess is Yo, we got a bunch of presents Yo, somebody go get Ben Frank Somebody go get Tom Somebody go get Tommy. How did Ben Franklin get on the $100 bill?
Starting point is 00:31:35 He wasn't even a president. I want to know who was the original. What's the bald? Rogan. Rogan. Who was the original Joe Rogan in Congress? It got to be John Hancock or I'm going George Washington. George Washington?
Starting point is 00:31:52 Original Joe Rogan? George Washington had fake people teeth in his mouth. No, I thought that was Abraham Lincoln. No, it's George Washington. He had slave teeth. He had slave teeth, right? They all had teeth by slaves. Teeth by slaves.
Starting point is 00:32:05 Too late. Teeth by... Yeah. But you know how you say teeth by LaFawn? Teeth by... Yeah. Yeah. So if you look at that, that equates to Rogan and these weird...
Starting point is 00:32:17 Teeth by culture. ...tide shit he be having on the podcast. Not gone too far. Teeth by slaves. This is crazy. Teeth by slaves. It's insane. I wasn't saying it's fire, but it's insane.
Starting point is 00:32:24 For Black History Month, we might have to take this out. Yeah. No, you got to leave... You got to leave it in there. You got to shoot the sketch. You got to leave... Yeah. Shoot the sketch.
Starting point is 00:32:30 Yeah, it's the Chappelle show. You got to release it on the podcast page. Teeth by Slaves. Marie, did you have any mess for us? Who? I mean, Teeth by Slaves. Well, that would be my mess. That's pretty messy.
Starting point is 00:32:48 Opt here. No. I'm sorry. You're opting out for the first time. No mess. I mean, I just, you know, I got to think about it. That's just God being good. somebody's got
Starting point is 00:33:00 God's been good he's been good you know ain't got no mess I mean I don't know if this is mess but you've been
Starting point is 00:33:07 to my house before I have a round table I got these chairs full of clothing you know cause you're not ready to put them in a dirty clothes pile
Starting point is 00:33:15 but you're not ready to put them with the clean clothes yeah cause they could get another way right so I have multiple clothes chairs in my home
Starting point is 00:33:21 and yes when you have so many chairs for clothes and not to sit down well I mean it's my two kitchen table chairs okay
Starting point is 00:33:29 and then my my couch oh you got another chair remember the chair the chair yeah an heirloom yeah yeah yeah yeah it's in the family now so anyway i got i got mad chairs you got mad space for chairs you're getting i don't i don't have mad space anyway yesterday i was like well what happens if i push the chairs in under the table i said am i dumb it has never occurred to me to push the chairs in girl it is not to take the clothes out and put them away no no no no but anything i fold the clothes again to make them to make them more compact and i push the chairs i'm not gonna lie to you just by practice i don't think that's messed i think that's ingenuity whoa that's that
Starting point is 00:34:10 english right there okay ingenuity you said i'm gonna use this in a sentence today i feel like You said word of the day, ingenuity. But I was going to say that was Marie's living. Marie's living, Marie's living. You're like, if you push the chairs in, you see all the space. I'm like, wow, I can see my rug now. I'm gagged. I literally, I had to leave the room to come back and be like, look at this.
Starting point is 00:34:33 Now, if you would have talked to your interior designer, she would have let you know that. Who, the interior designer who I am dead to right now. I got an interior designer and she quit. She said I was too indecisive. making somebody quit their job that is can you eat her up and bring her on the pod I would love to chat with her just for a little bit
Starting point is 00:34:54 no give me the information I don't need no interior designs but I do need you to sit on the couch for a little bit why don't you come in and take a look at it take a look at it come on down
Starting point is 00:35:09 tell them why you hate Marines tell them why you hate black women She's a black woman as well. But you know, it'd be your own people. Marie, that was good mess. That is good mess. Yeah, that was light mess. And it actually is good for the gander.
Starting point is 00:35:23 It don't got to be a heavy mess. It doesn't have to. That's what people think. And it's just, just come in. Anything could be mess if it's in your heart, you know? And that's merch. And that's merch. Anything can be mess.
Starting point is 00:35:35 If it's in your heart. If it's in your heart. Yeah, I hope you're writing all these bars down. Yeah, you have to lead. If you lead with mess, the heart is always going to be full. If you lead with mess, forget the rest. Let's go. You're working.
Starting point is 00:35:50 Let go, Mouse. Yes, what's your mess? What are you here to talk to us about? What's messy to you? It's a lot messy. I was actually tossing and turning about this all night. Because I was like, what am I going to talk about? You talk for a living.
Starting point is 00:36:05 Yeah, I know. You said you've been wanting to be on this podcast for quite some time. Just for the hang. and then I was like oh I got to I'm like I have to indict myself
Starting point is 00:36:14 we're a theme you said indict yourself I have to indict myself no you don't have to indict yourself because it doesn't have to be personal mess it could be messy
Starting point is 00:36:20 and that's why I was like I was like you know let me look at Becca's email again and I was like oh alright it doesn't have to be so personal because I was about to
Starting point is 00:36:28 but that is mess though that is mess listen I was checking dates and times I was like the statute has to be up on this okay let's talk about yeah let's talk about that
Starting point is 00:36:37 if you got statutes that's up This is a, that was the time. But that's crazy. That's how you, that's what also is messed is that people want to be on the pod. But have you listened? Just listen to the pod. Just look at the clips.
Starting point is 00:36:48 You can, you can tell that it's, there's light stuff. Anything can be messed. So why are you tossing and turning? Because I don't, I don't want to be. Listen. You don't want to be like everybody else. Zach Fox was up here dragging Mick Jagger. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:01 He looked like a mess. Yeah. Mick Jagger does look like a mess. He looked, he looked like he halfway out. Yeah. But he's always in. hey man look like look like come on on the pod look like sharon osborne the other night yo i saw a picture of sharon and kelly it looked like somebody it looked like somebody like sucked
Starting point is 00:37:18 the air out their butt and just that's called ozempic for real or reparations reparations because they they british so they like they real real races that's like motherland races yeah yeah remember when they remember when trump was like we're gonna build a wall and she And then she got on the view and she was like, then who's going to clean your toilet? I was like, I was like, I was like, I was like, right message, wrong messenger. Yeah. But also, no, no, that's not so white people don't be in made in Manhattan. Like they don't like what?
Starting point is 00:37:56 I couldn't believe she's I was she was like, well, you know what I meant. We actually don't know what you mean. So that's why actually we know what you mean. And that's why we're looking at you. Yeah, that's why you look like that. Yes. So, Mouse, what's your mess? All right.
Starting point is 00:38:10 So, I do this thing. I don't like to be uncomfortable. And then in dating, I really don't like to be uncomfortable, but I also don't like to make other people uncomfortable. Okay. And I realized, like, we're in a time where, like, if you just say the thing you feel, you're going to offend somebody. Like, if you're just telling somebody, like, hey, the vibe isn't what I thought it was, can you go? like you're gonna be the bad guy nicer way to say it what is it hey the vibe ain't really what i thought it was gonna be can you go is wild i thought you were saying it'd be saying in a
Starting point is 00:38:47 better way hey the vibe is no oh there's no better way to say wait wait wait wait you never ghosted somebody no i do but it's hard to do it in the moment like in the moment i'm like oh i'm never told me take a phone call actually i gotta i gotta step out so it's crazy that you guys know how to ghost, but not your semen. Your semen never knows how to ghost. Are you, like, attacking me? Girl, what in the Planned Parenthood is happening here? Your semen.
Starting point is 00:39:12 Yes. If there was more ghost semen, we would have less issues. Sydney, there's literally ghost semen. There's so many single mothers. Where's the ghost semen? Well, you got to deal with the old demand. No. Semen don't work no more. No, I'm just saying. No, it don't. That's the problem.
Starting point is 00:39:28 Al Pacino just had a baby. He, like, 92. He's rich. So if you have money Your old semen is stronger You take care of yourself There's a different level of care Have you seen him He don't look like he's okay
Starting point is 00:39:38 At all But he's probably taking Like supplements and stuff Why is blood cells gone So there's been these studies That's come out Over the last two years That you know
Starting point is 00:39:46 For all these years And decades We've been blaming Women Older women For like the problem With like When they have late pregnancies
Starting point is 00:39:53 Later in life It's men It's the men We knew that No we know that now I thought it was always them But you a lesbian Oh
Starting point is 00:40:01 you're not in our fight you get the pick that is the title of the episode you're not in our fight I love that that's so good I don't know I like so many of the titles but that one actually really resonated you're not in our fight
Starting point is 00:40:17 people will click on that so I think we might have to put that at the top I don't know I think people might click on teeth by slaves no Marie as a man if I had to vote it would be teeth by slaves I went out of this I know it's only two fifths of a vote come on so like because i i don't like i don't like making people uncomfortable especially women
Starting point is 00:40:41 i don't really enjoy making one uncomfortable especially if like you agree to go out with me but not all the time do the vibes match up in person that they were on it on in the on the text yeah so what i do is i'll just text my oldest daughter because she's an adult now so i'll be like i'll just text her like call me and if i if i heart it she knows that i mean like call me now and she'll she'll call and i'll have my phone like on on dates i keep my phone like up i don't flip it because you don't flip it because you have nothing to hide no just because i'm on complete dnd so my phone could look like this and the only thing that can come through is the people that's allowed to come through so as soon as you see my daughter come as soon as you
Starting point is 00:41:23 see my daughter come through i'm like oh i gotta answer this and she just starts yelling dad dad you gotta she just starts yelling she doesn't start yelling she knows is there a script yeah just start i tell her make it sound important she knows just make it sound so you turn the volume up all the way up dad i gotta i said and i'm like i gotta take this call i got and then she'll i'll walk off me and my daughter talking and she's like dad you with the hos i'm like yeah with the hos i want to get the hos because she's a kid like that's what the kids say so she'll be Like, Dad, you with the hoes? What is hoes?
Starting point is 00:41:57 The hoes. They're really not in our fight. Jesus Lord. Sadie don't have to fight. She got love in her life. We fighting by ourselves up here. You know what, Marie? Every day is a battle thing.
Starting point is 00:42:13 A battle thing. The fire battle thing. One battle after another for me. Marie. Not for she. When I tell you you're on fire, bitch, you're on fuegos, okay? Wow. you never let me down
Starting point is 00:42:28 what is that what is a his you should be embarrassed mouse why you're involving your your daughter she's not a child anymore but
Starting point is 00:42:37 that is more she is a child of mouse she gets whatever a child of mouse that's also amazing title of the episode it's not a child of
Starting point is 00:42:46 teeth by slave is nothing child by mouse is yeah even better I do not like that child by mouse is great
Starting point is 00:42:53 I think that child Child by mouse is in the running Child of mouse or teefs by slaves Teefs by slaves Teefs with a Z at the end Because I can see that being merch No
Starting point is 00:43:06 Just a smile No because I don't want that I don't want that either Just a smile across the chest No No that's very George Washington Yeah Not on me
Starting point is 00:43:16 Mouse Sit at it You're embarrassing How could you Why would you get your daughter involved Let me tell you this Okay there comes a certain accountability in life with your family right as your dad i do my job
Starting point is 00:43:32 i make sure you're taken care of make sure you got what you need whenever you want it a surplus even extra you get to stun on your friends they love that they get to stun their friends what you want yeah it's already there you get to go on their friends damn i gotta get a new show their friends my instagram and then show them the pictures of the celebrities they met if all i'm asking of my adult daughter is to lie is to get me out of uncomfortable situations i thought that was your job to get her out of uncomfortable situations it's duality but we both do it now when she was a kid and why are you doing that with me Should I have a baby?
Starting point is 00:44:14 Let's talk. Oh, no. This feels like a very tempting argument for me to also, but I got to wait 18 years? Yeah, I was about to say, by the time that baby is 18, you're not even going to want to be dating. No.
Starting point is 00:44:26 I don't want to be dating right now. What's the lyric? 18 years. 18 years and on an 18th birthday. That wasn't his. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:36 So, should I adopt a 16-year-old? Ooh. Because then you'll look like a hero. No, then you'll, but you're going to hang yourself. zero you picked the worst age i feel like 13 16 was real like 16 was real like euphoria to this day i've never watched that show because i was living it excuse me when my daughter was 16 this is two years ago euphoria been out mad years yeah i never needed to watch it this kid was
Starting point is 00:45:02 smoking weed vapes selling drugs well she got a cool dad that's what i was like what wearing crop tops definitely wearing crop tops yeah i mean i allow that and doing drugs definitely was doing a drug drugs i don't i don't know all the drugs okay i just know what the school called me about what they call you about so allegedly no this was real no but i'm saying for your daughter's sake because i hate when people put out like i don't like when they put out girl sydney you can't ask the question once again not your fight thanks she said we both at the same time said what and then she was like i'm an aquarius we go you know you know what we're just gonna move the mic
Starting point is 00:45:44 put the mic in rice mic and rice another title of the episode i like that actually all the way down leading the vote it's take it off it's leading the vote but when this child was what 14 14 turning 15 i get a call from the school and they're like um it's actually somebody i uh that was a teacher when i was there so they try oh this shit is just like cops and and rob is talking to me real nice i'm like what's up he's like hey you know it's been a long time i see all the stuff you're doing i'm proud of you i see what's up i noticed calling about that though yeah like yeah i just want to let you know that your daughter um she got caught you know smoking
Starting point is 00:46:31 in school, you know, caught her vaping. I said, word? She said, yeah. But I'm just, because I'm listening. I know you guys are. I thought you were going to say crack. Vaping is crack. You put crack on my kid? No, no, no. I'm not putting crack.
Starting point is 00:46:43 No, no, no. You put crack on my kid? You looked at me and thought I could birth a crackhead? No, I'm not saying that. Birth of a crackhead is also an amazing title. Now I'm just saying it. You're just medeying it.
Starting point is 00:46:58 You're being it right now. You're being it. You're being it right now. Crack heads. Brother crack heads. No, no, no. But I'm just saying, vaping, everybody vapes.
Starting point is 00:47:08 Like, it doesn't matter if you're 65, 14-year-old, infant. Everybody's vaping. Infants. Yeah, there'd be some pacifiers that look like vapes.
Starting point is 00:47:17 Sid, you're not in our fight. And I just want to talk to the people that are in the fight together. Pacifiers that look like vapes? Yeah, no. Girl, what babies
Starting point is 00:47:25 you hanging out with? And what adults are you hanging out with? I'm in Flatbush. First of all, that has nothing to do with it. I know, I know, I know. I'm just saying anything now.
Starting point is 00:47:35 The point of the matter is, I'm listening. I'm like, yeah, so how you know? We've seen her. I said, oh, you've seen her? He said, yeah. So now he starts telling me
Starting point is 00:47:43 about the punishment. He's like, yeah, she won't let us search her. That's good that your daughter knows her rights. Yeah, she won't let us search her person, but she let them search her bag.
Starting point is 00:47:53 In the bag, they found the gummy packets. they taking edibles but watch the thing the gummies look just like the candy so it's like
Starting point is 00:48:05 sour pat and stuff like that and it doesn't say THC on it oh so now I'm like oh so you my daughter's getting suspended
Starting point is 00:48:11 and at this time it was like three it was like a three month suspension oh and it was like if you don't take the three month suspension she's gonna be suspended until the next year
Starting point is 00:48:19 oh y'all y'all are wilding half the teachers is hot so now I wanna fight now I'm in the mood to fight I'm like hmm three month suspension
Starting point is 00:48:26 or I could appeal it and then we'll have to have a hearing and then y'all gotta repeat and this is somebody who's been raised by law and order I feel like you were like let's appeal immediately yeah I said so that's what you want he thought he was walking me down
Starting point is 00:48:42 he said yeah so we're just gonna get I said no no we're not gonna do that I'm actually gonna come get her somebody come get her she's dancing like a stripper now that one I thought was coming I'm not gonna lie to you the way my daughter is living her life
Starting point is 00:48:59 I'm like oh she's definitely I said stripping is imminent because she vaped at 14 she had the Sarah Patch kids in the back you said I said there it goes I said guess she's going to lust the pipeline from gummies to stripping on a pole
Starting point is 00:49:15 it's right there it's a straight line it is a straight line I ain't never been on a pole in my life and you love gummies I've been doing gummies for a while Were gummies even out when we were 14? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:49:29 I feel like the kids got access to so much. And it's dispensaries on every corner now. Look, that was it. It was the pole and the gummy star here. I don't think it's a pole. I think the gummy to streamer pipeline is probably stronger. I wish I would be that lucky. She's about as technologically savvy as me.
Starting point is 00:49:49 I'd be helpful. I'd be like, nah, bro. You said, what are you doing for this family? You're not streaming. You're not streaming. So, what are you bringing to the table? When is your tour through Africa? You have nothing for me?
Starting point is 00:50:02 I got a job for you. You're going to get me out of these situations. Some of these kids are doing Super Bowl commercials now. Where is your commercial? Listen, that 14-year-old, she's at least trying. She has it all down pat. She just doesn't have the audience. But, boy, when the audience comes.
Starting point is 00:50:17 You can see the potential? To be a streamer. She does this. You're like, hey, guys. Oh, she taps this. She does her hauls She does her hauls You said you want her to stunt on her friends

She also put a stripping pole
Starting point is 00:51:53 on your daughter's head. No, I did that. And I said, Nuggets on Burlington. So we, it's the range. It's the range of hate. So,
Starting point is 00:52:00 your daughter, did she get suspended or no? No. So, we, she served one day to suspension. The second day
Starting point is 00:52:07 was the actual hearing. Oh, they moved quick over there. What district is this? This is Long Island. They don't play. Oh, okay. Wait,
Starting point is 00:52:14 you live in Long Island? That's where I'm from. Okay. So, my daughter still goes to school out there. Okay. So,
Starting point is 00:52:19 we went to school went to the school now I had my good fit on I had your good fit I had my long coat on I had leather gloves you had your Amari shoes on
Starting point is 00:52:26 what is Amari Amari Amiri you had on some hard bottoms what are the I didn't have my hard bottoms or the Rick's Rick Owens
Starting point is 00:52:33 no I want Sid to stop talking can I just talk to Amiri what is it Amiri there's so much the guys wear their Amiris I don't am I wrong
Starting point is 00:52:43 on a chunky boot I had on what did I have on you said you had a good fit you was a kid were you sponsored by kids no i don't know i'm not wrong about that mary's i don't know off-white blazers oh off-white mackie blazers but i had like a good corduroy pant i want to let you know walking back into this school i'm on y'all ass you had a turtleneck on tucked into the corduroys
Starting point is 00:53:06 no i had a um i had one of them um banana republic little sweaters on yeah it was like a quarter button quarter button went in there and i kicked their ass because they only witness was the teacher i said wait a minute i said so you for i said how many kids he basically told the superintendent that's what was the superintendent here so they have their lawyers and it's just me i said oh i'm being real lawyers i'm not worried about y'all teacher lawyers school district lawyer i'm like school district lawyer nigga i was gonna go to jail and i beat these niggas y'all not even getting paid for real you niggas you niggas get a salary these niggas was on the hour and i beat their ass i'm on y'all so they let him they let the teacher go he's like yeah
Starting point is 00:53:50 you know i was walking in the hallway i seen a group of students and i seen the vape air coming from over his head and then i said wait a minute i said how many kids i said what time of the day was this he said it was in between class i said oh so there's a lot of kids in the hallway he said yeah i said and then my daughter's back was towards you he said yeah i said so you just you just gonna put that smoke on my baby I know what I seen I said oof that sounds emotional and all you need is that probable cause
Starting point is 00:54:19 all I heard well he didn't even see he didn't see her smoke he made a probable cause all I had to do was raise a shadow of a doubt beyond a reasonable doubt all I know is when I said oof that sounds emotional
Starting point is 00:54:34 can we go off record for a minute I said no I would like the record to show whatever you're about to say they were like well we just want to step outside and talk to him for a minute I said let the record show that they're stepping outside I looked at my daughter I said look what you got me doing came back in here they came back in there like listen we're gonna we're just gonna lift the suspension she'll serve two days for having paraphernalia and that's it when he walked in here I know the song I know the song I said no you did and then we walked out of there.
Starting point is 00:55:06 She was in school the next day. Judgment for the plaintiff? No, we were the defendants. Judgment for the defendants. Damn, I kind of wanted your daughter to get a RICO charge and see how you could do with that. I mean, if you really got that.
Starting point is 00:55:20 You hate my family. You really about me, don't you? She do. That was a RICO, actually. That was the equivalent of a RICO in school. How many bottles of baby oil in the locker? Stop it, Marie. How much baby oil was in the locker?
Starting point is 00:55:33 Let's talk. so what you're saying is your daughter owes you so how old was she when you started using her as a decoy to get out of these dates 17 years old oh so because after a while i stopped letting like for a long time I didn't like I didn't allow my kids to be at the house when like I'd have a woman
Starting point is 00:56:07 over or anything but when they got when she turned about 16, 17 my oldest was like 13, 14 I was like oh it's whatever
Starting point is 00:56:14 y'all can y'all don't gotta introduce yourselves but if you see me with a woman cause I need y'all don't gotta introduce yourself
Starting point is 00:56:20 so it just that woman is like there's been times where like they've all been in the house and like the girl will walk out to use the bathroom
Starting point is 00:56:28 or something or like grab Uber Eats and my daughter is just like My daughter would see him and text me like a rating. She'll text you a rating? She'll be like, oh, that's a nine. Okay.
Starting point is 00:56:38 Oh, that's an eight. Oh, that's a nine. I'm like... Mouse, I think I've heard enough. All right. I could hear more. No. I'm just saying, I just don't want...
Starting point is 00:56:46 When your kids get to their teens and they have to go hang out with other kids, your kids almost have to know that you get bitches or like whatever your equivalent of bitches. Okay. Getting the bitches, sure, fine. It's the rating. That's them, not me. Yeah, but where did they learn this misogynistic practice? Oh, now it's a misogynistic practice.
Starting point is 00:57:06 Another woman called, a young woman called another woman beautiful is now misogynistic. She didn't say beautiful. She's rating. It's a numerical. She's, I only heard eights and nines. What's the problem? She no good. Well, her daddy didn't bring home no sixes.
Starting point is 00:57:18 If you got an 89 in English, I want her to use her words. For a bitch she don't know. For a bitch she don't know. That's the title of the episode. that one i like girl this might be yo we didn't even have another episode before this so we just we just warmed up this is just y'all warmed up just stepping on the court oh i was doing that's a little anti-black okay that's a different type of black yeah
Starting point is 00:57:49 M'Baku. What's he doing? M'Baku. That was my era. He just followed me on Instagram. M'Baku? M'Baku. Who's that?
Starting point is 00:57:58 With a big yes. Wait. He followed you? He followed me. Girl. What? But I feel like he, you know, he's- You going to slide?
Starting point is 00:58:09 What? You going to slide in a DM? No. Marie. I feel like he was sexier in the movie. He not as- Come on. He hasn't worked in a while.
Starting point is 00:58:16 Oh, yeah. He's very much giving dad- That's right. the last movie was mad long ago it was literally two years ago it was not two years ago no black panther 2 was two years ago no it wasn't when did when did um what's his face pass away it's not what's his face chadwick yeah but he's also not in black panther 2 black panther 2 was he's not in the second one no because he died before they filmed it no he's in the second one a little bit winston duke is in he's a huge part of it chadwick is not the one
Starting point is 00:58:47 who followed me is Winston Duke but yes well we know Chadwick didn't follow you I met him he was nice to me no I'm saying
Starting point is 00:58:53 he didn't follow because he's shut up no he met him in real life oh got it okay we were at an after party
Starting point is 00:58:58 he followed me home no no he didn't follow me home damn Marie that's amazing Sydney did such a good photo of you thank you
Starting point is 00:59:05 look at this Sydney had the I know I liked it the one you weren't invited to guess I wasn't a girl or girl you're a father
Starting point is 00:59:13 and that's why you weren't there this is Sydney hates dads no she just hates this one and I don't get it cause we started off so well I'm just like
Starting point is 00:59:21 don't get it you know the crazy thing Mouse is like we were tight are we doing this we were tight and it will happen I just want to
Starting point is 00:59:28 put it all out there okay are we putting it all out there I want to put it on the table put it on the floor put your bestie in a pack and then I'll smoke her too hey girl
Starting point is 00:59:38 now she's sliding now she's smoking her eyes ADHD you were really like somebody I talked to on the regular at Burlington Co-Factory seems
Starting point is 00:59:47 I know actually to to do that FaceTime at Burlington I was very comfortable and felt safe um
Starting point is 00:59:53 and then you not only did I find out you had children which is that's fine what do you mean
Starting point is 01:00:00 found out I had children everyone knew I had children so you found out he had kids and now you hate him I didn't I don't she's I'm gonna respect the tap dance
Starting point is 01:00:08 go ahead tap dance and dancing I'm not dancing you're dancing well I just feel like why are you talking to me
Starting point is 01:00:16 when you should be talking to your children? What? It's a podcast. No, no, no, no. The kids ain't here. She's talking about in the middle of the day.
Starting point is 01:00:22 She's talking about at 11 a.m. when my kids are in school. Like, I'm a sacrifice. Okay, you know what? I don't understand the question. You asking why he's talking to you right now?
Starting point is 01:00:30 Because Sid's being messy. I am being messy. And I'm trying not to take the bait. Marie's like, this is off air. I feel like every time we have a male guest, Sidney wants to battle.
Starting point is 01:00:40 And I just want to get to the bottom of the mess. Let's get to the bottom of the mess. I just want to talk No I'm trying to talk I want your mess
Starting point is 01:00:47 But Sidney like Well Sidney Then jumped in the mess So now I'm gonna give Me and Sid a mess Okay here we go Okay what's the mess When me and Sid
Starting point is 01:00:54 First met each other Okay There was a mutual attraction Oh That's a god damn lie Now Oh my god Now
Starting point is 01:01:01 Oh my god No no no It was Wait Then she found out You had a kid And it was It was very flirty
Starting point is 01:01:07 Hey It was not Oh my god Are you gonna sit here And lie like this Sid what This is an exclusive Sidney
Starting point is 01:01:17 Sidney and her ex are best I would not be attracted to a man in cornrows so there's that Okay B2K
Starting point is 01:01:27 bump bump bump Okay I like a woman in cornrows I don't like no man They look like me What the fuck are you talking about
Starting point is 01:01:35 What the fuck are you talking about They do look like you They do not Marie I'm literally the storyboard Marie
Starting point is 01:01:41 We were We are literally so insane. And now you're going to throw me into the wolves? When the boy lesbians get dressed, they looking at my Instagram. No, actually, the men are dressing like studs now. So let's really get into it. Well, I can't say that word, but okay. The men are seeing the info from the studs.
Starting point is 01:01:58 So there was a mutual attraction. Marie, have I ever mentioned this man like that? I mean, I didn't know you was calling him on FaceTime at Burlington Coal Factory. That's a reveal for me. There's intimacy. There's no intimacy. There's intimacy there. It was never like physical intimacy.
Starting point is 01:02:14 I FaceTimed anybody. I'm talking about, but she was at Burlington. I do FaceTime anybody. I literally do. Okay. She does, but I mean,
Starting point is 01:02:21 what did you call him for so you can get his feedback? We have been talking all the time. We're just chatting. Like, we have been talking all the time. I had just got back from LA. We were friends
Starting point is 01:02:31 and I had a lot of time on my hands. I was, you know, trying to rebuild myself. So why didn't you call Marie? Well, I was talking to her as well. I said I have free time.
Starting point is 01:02:39 Marie didn't even know you went to Burlington. I didn't know that. I did not know she was at Burlington. This is when I was living with Carolina and I was very close to Burlington. I was like... I would see the cats and all that.
Starting point is 01:02:50 So, you was talking to him on FaceTime regularly? Yes. So, there was a mutual attraction there? There was no... Mom, I can't believe you even said that out of your dry-ass lips that you would say shut the ding. He said dry-ass lips.
Starting point is 01:03:01 I was like, no, that's just an arbitrary attack. And there's none. I was like, I know I'm not up here dry-ass. He said the lips is dry here and there. yeah i don't know what listen i can't believe you said that listen okay but finish that yeah sid you gotta you gotta read sid you gotta realize sid will just up and disappear just go just go away for a little bit i'm like oh okay then in her absence yeah life unfolded had my son shout out to my son he's the most perfect kid in the world he said that's he has
Starting point is 01:03:38 a son because you left him that's not what i said that's not what i said that's not what i said at all not the way i hear her talk about baby and then when she came back around yeah i had i had a kid and then now it's all oh mouse i didn't know you had baby i'm like what are you talking about but you know what you giving us this backstory does explain some of this hostility that I'm feeling from singing. Thank you. All day. We've known about your...
Starting point is 01:04:09 You're a flip-flopping ass bitch and I thought we were friends. No, you a flip-flopping ass bitch. Thank you. You're the only flip-flopper. Because we've known about the baby, his daughter. I met him.
Starting point is 01:04:18 He was like, my daughter did it. She dropped him off. No. In the bins. In the binsie. I was just like, listen,
Starting point is 01:04:30 shit is on fire. There's so many baby jokes. You got a baby sperm joke. She said the word semen on the pod. I've never heard of that. Some people said they were tired of hearing about secretions. So now I say semen. I have heard semen in a very long time.
Starting point is 01:04:44 Secretions is feminine. Semen is male. The only time I hear semen is on SVU. Right. So to hear it in real time, I was like. We got semen. I'm sweating. Yeah, that's semen.
Starting point is 01:05:02 You called me a flip-flopper, bitch. You a flip-flopper. you're playing good cop and bad cop bitch what cop are you I'm no cop I'm a liar mess
Starting point is 01:05:18 you're listening to mess bitch this is what I thought we were going to be chill today I thought so too until I was telling these people that I was attracted to you you took me to some dive bar in Flatbush and we were chatting
Starting point is 01:05:33 and we did not go on no date we didn't go on no date you took me to some you know some bar that I'm I know they knew you I know you I know they knew
Starting point is 01:05:43 I knew you so now we getting to it they went on a date y'all I wouldn't call it a date it was like a pre-date it was like a pre-date it was not a motherfucking pre-date they went on a
Starting point is 01:05:53 parent-teacher conference for Lauren Slatbush it was a pre-date that mouth there is no no do not listen to her it's a silent partnering
Starting point is 01:06:00 they kind of they kind of When I showed up, they're like, oh, Mr. Mouse. I'm like, oh, yeah. Mr. Mouse. He had on his corduroy pants? It took forever to get my club soda. Girl, you mad about the club soda in 2026, man?
Starting point is 01:06:14 You got to let that go. Let it go. Let it go. See, the crazy part is Sid could have had the world. That's the crazy part. You said the world. What that mean? Sid could have, you know, when you just meet someone, you're like, yo, I really fuck with them.
Starting point is 01:06:28 Whatever you want, Sid could have had. So that's really why you wanted to be on the pod. You want to get closer to me. I thought we wasn't going to discuss it. Unfinished business is a really good title. It's not unless it's over your face. Because it would have to be you right there. Matter of fact, you know what?
Starting point is 01:06:48 I'll wait till the mic's gone. No, say it. What happened? You remember at Why Am I Single? Not the one I did. The one I came to before that. We was all backstage. Was that the one Sydney was on?
Starting point is 01:07:01 and then what happened? She accosted you backstage? She sat on you in the singles lounge? Oh, you remember? She sat. Because you sat like this. Because you sat like... Oh, I might have the photo of that, actually.
Starting point is 01:07:12 Thank you. I might have... But Sidney's known to sit on somebody's lap. Now she called me loose. Okay, Marie. So do you want to do the pod with Mouse? Or do you want to do the pod with Becca? Who do you want to be with?
Starting point is 01:07:24 Sidney, you are... Sidney is a very flirtatious person. A Marie and Mouse pocket. Do you have your papers? you got your pod papers i got my podcast pice checked on it pice yeah podcast oh my god now you're trying really hard oh yo so i don't know where we go we had i don't know where because you started i was chilling i i took all the attacks but then you just kept i just feel like maury i feel like you are the father he is the father yes but then sid would be on
Starting point is 01:07:59 Sid would be on the episode with the camera and she'd be like I'm not I am a lesbian I am and then they'd be like well Sid
Starting point is 01:08:06 backstage you were talking to Mouse and what happened was is that Mouse heard that I was hooking up with men and he was like oh she gonna
Starting point is 01:08:14 I'm gonna slide in there and I was like well I wouldn't go that low you know oh that's what we're doing we're writing bits no no no I'm not writing
Starting point is 01:08:21 we're working out bits no no no I just wouldn't be with a comedian that's what like you know what I mean I wouldn't be with somebody I know I was meeting randos it would never be that
Starting point is 01:08:32 it would never be somebody I know their last name it's Jones right it's Jones I just want this to be for the fellas who listen for the fellas who listen for the women who deal with women that listen you just gotta just take the
Starting point is 01:08:51 onslaught you don't win fighting back what's messier Okay Sid No That's who What's messier
Starting point is 01:09:00 Your friends Secretly dating Behind your back Or Your friends dating Behind your back And then doing a podcast And then doing a reveal
Starting point is 01:09:11 In front of your face What's What's messier What's more mess I mean at least this podcast Didn't come out in June That would really Be bad
Starting point is 01:09:23 Yeah that would be bad For her image nothing is better i'm in a relationship so nothing is better oh that's why you acting like okay delete the back end of this podcast yeah i don't want to cause no issue in lesbian homes no no cause an issue in lesbian homes it's too long never mind causing issues in lesbian home we could do it like uh like the cool like the cool kids and just use every first letter we're not doing that c-i-i-l-c-i-i-l-h no people gonna be like what the hell is that so your mess was using your using your your child your daughter um to get you out of dates and then coming on
Starting point is 01:10:03 a podcast and disrupting the synergy between the host i respect i i respect black women to the utmost i don't believe anything a man could do could interrupt that synergy right there he said he said i can't wreck a home that isn't already wrecked oh i mean that's the other part so your your daughter helps you get out of stuff do you have this day to this day do when when she is she dating yeah yeah she got a little boyfriend ew i know i feel the same exact way he looked like a little uh he like a little gecko that's what he like gecko i thought it was gecko yeah he looked like a gecko gecko that's what it is gecko is the salamander he looked like a salamander every time i for the minute his face is very he looked like he better go like that so
Starting point is 01:10:51 you did pay attention to science i did a little bit i was salamander i found it out of sleep osmosis so um how often is your daughter helping you get out of a bind often i'm in a bind nate should we go through some messages yeah yeah let's go through some messages We have actual voicemails today? We do. We do. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. You want to hear some messages from the Mesties,
Starting point is 01:11:18 and you're going to say your thoughts on it. Okay. Okay, so this is the way that I'm calling trying to leave this voicemail for y'all. I have written this out, and I am going to try this one more again. My cousin and I are both living in Europe. She lives in Italy, and I live in Spain.
Starting point is 01:11:32 Five years ago, I got married, and it was super small and intimate. She was one of six people that were there. Fast forward to December 2024, and she shared with me and my husband that she was getting married in Italy and would love for us to be there. We planned ahead and had every intention of being there.
Starting point is 01:11:48 Maybe four or five months before she was married, she reached out and told me that it was going to just be close family. Mom, dad, brother, cool. The wedding happened, and this cool she had the nerve to send me photos of her and all her guests. People who were not
Starting point is 01:12:03 even family, but friends she had previously fallen out with. One of which is her best friend, a male, who she alleges slept with her ex, also a male, I definitely felt the way. To make matters worse, weeks leading up to her wedding, she reached out to me to ask if she could ship her Zara order to my apartment in Spain because they were having a sale and it's cheaper to send it to Spain.
Starting point is 01:12:26 It wasn't straightforward at all. She ended up shipping it to the store. I had to make several trips to finally retrieve it. I know Spanish bureaucracy is a whole thing. I have the package in my storage, and after four months of holding on to it, she sent me a message today asking if I could mail her the package. It's been a whole day and I have yet to respond.
Starting point is 01:12:46 One of our mutual friends is coming to visit Spain next month and per that friend, at some point during her trip, my cousin will join her in a different city in Spain than where I live. Is it a mess if I don't reply to her message and just have our mutual friend take the package
Starting point is 01:13:01 to her ass? It's literally a denim skirt and a pair of jeans and I'm so over it. Bye y'all. I love y'all. Thanks for the man. Shout out y'all for having the expat community. That was good. Mouse?
Starting point is 01:13:18 Uh, yeah. I mean, send that lady her shit so you don't got to deal with it no more. Yeah. Like, that's just, you're holding on to it to be petty. Really, you keeping a person that you're saying you don't really give a fuck about around because they asking for their shit, rightfully so. I mean, it's also a mess to be like, it's going to be a small, intimate wedding and then have more than just family there.
Starting point is 01:13:37 And then send me the photo. I'm not going to lie to that part. I don't care about that. Like that shit would not even, the fact that that bothered him is a little bugged out to me. It bothered him, I think, because she was at his wedding. Yeah. And she invited him originally and then was like, actually.
Starting point is 01:13:51 Actually, yeah. Yeah, but if you, some people like weddings. If she was at his wedding, that means he wanted her there. Sure. And if he wasn't at her wedding, that means she didn't want him there.
Starting point is 01:14:04 So why lie? Just be like, why invite me in the first place? Why care? I guess that's my issue like why care like wherever I'm not at I don't care you didn't want me there
Starting point is 01:14:14 and I'm okay it doesn't necessarily mean I have to change the relationship with you also please don't invite me to a wedding but more importantly that's the most important yeah please don't invite me to a wedding
Starting point is 01:14:24 do not invite if you really care about me don't invite me to a wedding I love that I love that I'll send a gift send me the registry send me the registry
Starting point is 01:14:32 I'll take y'all out for dinner I'd rather give the gift than go literally took my friends who just got married, literally took them to dinner. That was my thing. I'm not coming here, don't put me on no plane.
Starting point is 01:14:42 I'm not, I'm not being there. If I'm not working it, if you're not my brother, my sister. Well, maybe he was looking forward to going to Italy.
Starting point is 01:14:49 You seem like that. She's in Italy, he's in Spain. He already in Spain? Go to Italy, bitch. Go to Italy, bitch.
Starting point is 01:14:56 That's a good title. No, it's not. No? Okay. But it's a good idea. It is, yeah.
Starting point is 01:15:01 Let's go to Italy next year. Let's go to Italy this year. Yeah. Let's go this year. Yeah, Let's go here. Lake Cuomo's fire this year. Oh, you want to go.
Starting point is 01:15:07 That's the best time of year. So I lived out there. Sydney, that could have been you, baby. You could have lived in Lake Cuomo. No, no, no. I was back. And I do want to get engaged in Lake Cuomo. To a mouse?
Starting point is 01:15:15 No. Why you made that face, Sydney? Hold on. Are you here to help or hurt? I'm here. It sounded like she was trying to help. You trying to hurt. Because just getting a female me is just crazy.
Starting point is 01:15:31 You could just. Dating a female me is crazy. I don't know who the young person is yes she's young why do you say she's young Leonardo DiCaprio she is young how many bottle of baby oil
Starting point is 01:15:46 this has been the last mess of the year thank you so much of the year is crazy it's the beginning of February it just took one orange performance fleece to ruin everything so when you took sydney to that bar was it a date or was it that was not a day it was it was like last minute it was like it was definitely between it was definitely a
