Hey folks, before we get started, I just wanted to make a brief announcement. Remember last season when we were going through the season and then we suddenly realized that I actually would like two additional episodes of the season? That was a good time, right? That's kind of happening again this season, only this time it's happening with the miniseries. So, welcome to The Horizon, was meant to be nine episodes altogether, but now I'm thinking that it needs to be more like 11. So there's going to be two additional episodes of Welcome to the Horizon coming to your feed. So just to let you know that when episode nine hits, that is not the end, usually when I start doing a season, I have kind of a grocery list of things. And it's about

developing the connective tissue between those things. And sometimes I need a little more connective tissue. And that's part of the joy of an independently produced audio drama because, you know, if this were a TV show, you'd be locked into 10 episodes and you wouldn't be able to do anything about it, but we can because, as you all know, the defining characteristic of the Nightburger is we do what we want. And that's what we want to do. So that's what we're doing. Anyway, enjoy two additional episodes of Welcome to the Horizon.

I know we're going to enjoy them. And without further ado, here comes the episode. How are you feeling? I'm feeling all right. Good. How are you feeling, Frank? Well, I've got a truck full of scrapwood, and I'm boarding up Deidre's windows.

How do you think I'm feeling? Can I help? Do you know how to board up a window? No. No. You don't. Apparently, hidden somewhere in all these trees is a spaceship that you can fly to a distant planet,

But the important step is, does this certainty hurt me?
