Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, million dollars worth of game listeners. You can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen ad free on Amazon music. Right. You're now tuned into me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, million dollars worth a game. Oh, that's a good one. It's a good one. This is a good one.
Starting point is 00:00:19 This is a good one. We got Jamel Charlo in the building. Yes. Undisputed. All the belts. All of them. That would be five, right? Four plus the Ring Magazine, right?
Starting point is 00:00:33 Yeah. Yeah, so we're talking about the WBC, the IBF, the WBO, the WBA, and the Ring magazine. Right. That's a lot of bills. That's already a Hall of Fame. If you don't do nothing else in boxing, you said, you know what, I'm going to kick back, and be with my old lady, I'm put my feet up, smoke cigars, big ass house too. I'm talking about y'all, knickers living, living.
Starting point is 00:00:57 You're already in a Hall of Fame. Yeah, for show. I heard y'all was talking shit about me. I have to pull up over here. Who was talking shit? Y'all. What we said? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:01:07 We're scared to the conversation. What y'all said about trauma? What we say about trauma? Oh, whoa, whoa. You went, you, yeah. Terrence and all, y'all was talking about it. No, no, no, no. Terrence was talking.
Starting point is 00:01:18 Oh, oh. Terran said what he said. But if we said anything, we're going to stand on that shit. Damn. So, so, so whoever told you, ain't tell you nothing right, because we're going to stand. Because I'm the one that said here. And I tell him, motherfucker, and it ain't that I'm a boxing story.
Starting point is 00:01:33 But I say, I don't think you could do this, and you don't think you could do that. He was here when I told Earl, I said, Earl, I don't think you could beat Terrence because you wear too much drip, man. Terrence looked like he'd be somewhere lifting cows and shit. I stood on that shit right there. So we're going to stand on this shit. And I bet money on Earl. Yeah, yeah, me too. You feel what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:01:51 So I ain't going to. I bet 20 bands on him. I ain't going to. So, you know, I don't never remember saying nothing about. Jamel Charlo You got a refreshing my memory I don't know man I thought you were just some

Starting point is 00:03:51 And right now, and right now, what's name? Shout out to Terrence. You steal my brother from another mother. I know you're upset with me, but I just got to tell you something. One thing about this boxing thing, boxing is about marketing and promotion. Yes. The dudes is bigger. They get the most money.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Yes. They're not getting no money. They're not getting no money because they ain't got the right marketing on them. Right. They ain't got the right marketing. Oh, so T. So when I put something out there that got a million dollars worth of marketing is to make the sport bigger. We love boxing.
Starting point is 00:04:24 We love the brothers. Derek, all the trainers from all the camps, they know that's what we do. Top rank. Everybody know, what a million dollars worth of a game do? We market boxing. Boxing is a sport that was gone. UFC came.
Starting point is 00:04:38 Motherfuckers forgot about boxing. Now boxing is popping. You know what I mean? You got brothers like him talking that shit, getting them good clips all over, wearing that shit, being that shit, and it's making boxing better. But I need you to break it down too more
Starting point is 00:04:50 because you more the boxing person too. Terrence can understand what the fuck's going on. We hit Terrence up. We say, you know, he said, fight you know you did your think you know just like I hit arrow up you feel what I'm saying he said uh appreciate you wallow texting but boots his next he texts back you want to see a dead body with the crying faces we was laughing this is boxing you didn't say nothing disrespectful we we put it out there because we trying to make you guys the
Starting point is 00:05:17 biggest that you could possibly be because you're the number one pound for pound fighter in the world but you don't get paid like the number one pound per pound fighter in the world. And to me, that don't make sense. It don't make sense when the number one pound for pound fighter in the world is doing 600 pay-per-view buys, but a kid named Ryan Garcia, who ain't never fought for a fucking belt with his life, is doing
Starting point is 00:05:38 1.2 million pay-per-view buys. Because this shit ain't about belts no more. This shit is about popularity. Who know you? How many people following you? Who in tune with you? So when we do shit, we just trying to put light on y'all. So y'all can make the most money that you can possibly fucking make in boxing, because this ain't no play for play sports.
Starting point is 00:05:59 Y'all going there and grown-ass men try to knock you to fuck out. So I think if you are ranked up here, you should be getting paid like you fucking ranked up here. So that's why we do what we do. We got a lot of love for you, T. We got a lot of love for boots. We got a lot of love for Charlo, Errol Spence, and the rest of the boxes. That's why we extend our platform to all of the boxes. And that's why we show love to all of the boxes. So that little tweet that you put out there We're going to let that go Because we don't get in our feelings
Starting point is 00:06:27 We lead that for the women and the fucking kids, man And we love you, bro, but I'm going to say this too And I'm going to leave it with this Nobody outside of the promoters Really promote boxing We're one of the biggest fucking platforms In the universe, especially coming from the black culture We interviewed every fucking boxer
Starting point is 00:06:45 We make sure that when the fight coming up You know that all the trains That they come here and get the promotion We're going to post you up anyway Because we want you all to go crazy to get that fucking money so we could bring that beat back. That's what it's about.
Starting point is 00:06:56 So if motherfuckers say something, ain't nobody saying that personal with this shit, me and him, we laugh and joke all day. We're not getting in the fucking ring. You know, when I see him, I'm like, damn, I might get around in. But that's me thinking. That's not me getting around in.
Starting point is 00:07:08 You dig what I'm saying? I'm not getting in the fucking ring with that crazy money. He's with the dumb shit. I'm not getting in there with him. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? I don't want to be biting nobody and none of that.
Starting point is 00:07:16 But what I'm saying is it's not personal. We joke and we're laughing, but we got to promote this shit Got to promote it, throw them clips up. You know what I mean? If he's talking that shit, throw it up. I mean, tag somebody. That's what this shit is about.
Starting point is 00:07:29 It's about marketing. We got to keep marketing and boxing. If we don't, we're going to be in trouble, man. We got motherfuckers fighting having bigger fights. It's not even been boxes in their life. They're having bigger fights than boxers. Think about that shit. So we got to keep it, you know, we got to keep going, man.
Starting point is 00:07:43 All right, so let me talk to trial over. Let's talk to him. Yeah. Now, it's been boxes before you that won up two-way classes. Yeah. It ain't work out too well for him. That's that's they better. Let me get to what I'm getting to.
Starting point is 00:08:00 Kelbrookie won up two-way classes for a triple-G. They work out for him. Adrian Bruner won up two-way classes in for Marcus Madonna. It ain't work out for him. Now you got Jamel Charlo going up two-way classes to fight Canelo-Walraz. Why is it going to work for you? you? I'm just naturally a big
Starting point is 00:08:24 motherfucker, straight up. I'm not a little guy, you know what I said? So Canelo got a, the world of boxing only see me when I weigh in when I fight and shit. They don't know my real size. They don't know that, you know, six feet, you know, they don't know that I can
Starting point is 00:08:40 fill out and be the natural, bigger guy in that ring. Yeah. Yeah. So I'm saying like a super welterweight, just because I'm super welterweight when I fight, I go down and make that weight. Yeah. Yeah. But your natural walk around weight is realm. You know, I keep it, I keep that in the, you know, this close.
Starting point is 00:08:57 Oh, I told him he's about to say 200. I'm going to say, tight. No, no, I don't get that big, not at all. I'm, I stay in shape. I stay active. Yeah. But I can, I can range from whatever, you know, especially going in a fight like this. I can get big.
Starting point is 00:09:10 Sometimes the coach told me all the time, hey, you're looking a little thick. You're looking a little heavy. You're looking. But this is what it is. I got a, this fight, I put on muscle mass. I put on speed. You know, I'm doing things that, that, that, that, that, that, on my agility, I'm good.
Starting point is 00:09:25 And naturally, you're going to be stronger, too, because you're not cutting no weight. Right. And hydrated. Yeah, you're not cutting as much weight. Yeah. So what is the thing with you and Terrence Crawford? Why he keep calling you out?
Starting point is 00:09:40 He don't even fight in your weight class. I guess he has plans on moving up to fighting your weight class. But what is it? Is it personal? Is it because it seemed like it's something personal like he's trying to fight everybody in y'all camp. Right, and that's cool.
Starting point is 00:09:54 I think that Terrance Crawford could be on the marketing point. He could be using it that way because, you know, like I hear what y'all was saying. But Terrence Crawford, problem is he never was with the right people. Before this, he just got with PBC. He just signed over and got with the right program to me. So that's why he was able to make that Earl Spence fight. You know what I'm saying? And so now that he get, you know, his feet with a little bit and he's liking the promotion.
Starting point is 00:10:22 and he's liking all of that. You know, he wanted to bite off a little bit too much you could chew, you know. And I got Canello to worry about it at 168. So why the hell I'm out? You know, we'll talk about 54 whenever we get done with this Canello shit. Right.
Starting point is 00:10:37 We can't even talk about 154 because you might have to meet me at another weight because my boy Earl going to 154. My brother might be moving up to 68 permanently. I might settle at 60 or spend my career somewhere else. I did 54 for a long time. I only been to two weight divisions. And I conquered that whole weight division.
Starting point is 00:10:54 What else do I got to prove at that division? You fought at 147? I fought at 147 at the beginning. I'm like, yeah, yeah. Oh, you must only four. There's about three fights. No, I fought there for a while at the beginning, then I moved up to 54.
Starting point is 00:11:05 Oh, okay. Yeah, I took a few fights there. I think I won in the Continental titles, a little small and minor titles, one of them jokers. But, um... When you look at the 154-pound division, though, you ain't got nothing else to really prove. No.
Starting point is 00:11:19 And at this point in your life, Like, what is we talking about? Is we really talking about belts? No, we talk about money. And legacy. Legacy. Yeah. So, a fight like Terrence Crawford obviously makes sense, you know, I commend them. You man, you went in there and beat the big fish.
Starting point is 00:11:38 You beat the dog. So, you know, whatever contract y'all agreed to, you got to fight them again and get that out the way. And then maybe, you know, since you say you want to chop down, you know, walk up that field, I'm a bad motherfucker. I don't care for it. What do you say? I'm gonna get in there and dog his ass
Starting point is 00:11:53 little ass motherfucker you know what I'm saying and he talked some shit he out there's fight he got on his top of the ring pointing and not making all this attention I ain't like I could run in there and talk shit back to you
Starting point is 00:12:05 barely gonna be able to hit me but obviously didn't make any sense but hey I clap for him told him congratulations he bowed he gave me my respect and he moved on you know and I'm cool I'm always ride with my teammates
Starting point is 00:12:19 if Terrence was my teammate then I wouldn't get and I didn't fuck with Earl I would give Terrence the love that he get you know what I'm saying I would the love that Earl getting that's just how it is
Starting point is 00:12:31 I'm not gonna be like oh yeah hey bro you fight my dog and I no longer gotta be I know that that's dead you know what I'm saying now you put my man gotta put his life on the line
Starting point is 00:12:43 that's how I feel about it so it's like he gonna have his little beef and drama he gonna feel some type of way I'm gonna for what he say or what he do that don't bother me You know, you're on your belt
Starting point is 00:12:52 You're winning, you're doing good You're wanting that 140 I ain't even fight at that low weight I ain't never was that small So, hey, if you want to come up And weight divisions and try to fight someone big as me And solid as me And gifted and talented like I am
Starting point is 00:13:06 Then he's gonna run into a problem I say One thing about you is You know, I really didn't understand Who was who in boxing I just heard names I've run across you one time What's the joint I'll be watching
Starting point is 00:13:17 On fucking on YouTube Before the fight, John. What's that shit called, Gil? All-access? Again. So I'm late night watching that shit. Was that you and your brother? When?
Starting point is 00:13:27 On All-Axas. Recently? No, this was an older one. You was on All-Axas, though? Just recently, though? For the Earl Faye? No, it was older. You was on one before, I believe.
Starting point is 00:13:38 Yeah, I had All-Axas. So this is the time I sent you to do. So I'm like, I'm like, I hit him. I'm like, who is this nigga? Because it was a passion. I said, I believe this nigga, man. I don't know what it is. This nigga crazy.
Starting point is 00:13:50 I believe him because you was dead serious and I seen like this wasn't no motherfucking just no boxing shit it was like somewhere else like where do your passion come from because even when you speak
Starting point is 00:14:00 I'll be believing you I didn't know nothing about no belts I didn't know nothing about what position you was in I just said yo this nigga crazy who is this nigga because you just was like
Starting point is 00:14:08 you're not you're not capping you're not hiding if I don't fuck with you I don't fuck with you I'm gonna let you know that's your whole style where do that passion
Starting point is 00:14:16 come from because you got a lot of passion in you yeah I do I do I think that's what that's that's was missing and stood about me I think
Starting point is 00:14:23 I'm just passionate like it's about wanting to win a thrive or will grow up a twin brother everything was competition
Starting point is 00:14:30 everything I don't care if it was from putting on clothes to who eat food the fastest I always wanted to you know
Starting point is 00:14:38 to be on top I wanted to win and I took some losses before and life and in the ring and I'm still the same
Starting point is 00:14:47 I'm hungry so it's like just self-driven, bro I don't ask no, but I don't need no motivation. I just want to win. I'm passionate about it. Everything I do, it don't matter what it is. I got a Lamborghini, too. I'm passionate about it.
Starting point is 00:15:01 You feel me? No, you've got a cop the Lambo. I got lambos too. I've seen you. I've seen you got that shit. Yeah. I mean, but... I'm passionate about how they look and how they sound. And if my car is going shit on any other Lambo or be faster or sound louder, I'm with all that.
Starting point is 00:15:17 So I'm going to put time into it. The color, everything about it. See, what I liked about you, too, and I told him, I said, now I don't need you real. This nigga don't know how to lie. If he in the room with somebody, he's going to let you. It just, I love that shit. You're not doing no lying.
Starting point is 00:15:31 You're not fake. We live in the world where everybody's faking. Everybody would act like, well, I fuck with him just to get this clout. You're not fucking with nobody if you don't fuck with him. And that's what I like about you. Yeah, because he came in here, made a fake-ass beef up. Yeah, you knickers was talking. I'm like, we're trying to try to check us.
Starting point is 00:15:45 We didn't even get him. I'm like, I got to ask my people about it. He came in here. Somebody else for another podcast said something. He just put all the old niggas in one book. Wasn't it you knickers? I'm like,
Starting point is 00:15:58 I'm trying to figure it out. You know what? But it's like, I'm in New York right now. But it's like, he's checking shit. He's running around the whole New York. I'm glad to check a couple of niggas. Let me find out he was just in there
Starting point is 00:16:07 with my motherfucking, my motherfucking, my motherfucking carcassian bitch. You said something. You said something, too. He probably in there like, what the fuck is wrong? I'm going to say this too.
Starting point is 00:16:19 I know you said this. PBC, right? Yeah. They're not playing no fucking games out here. It's just a big difference from a lot of different promoters. Shout out to Al Ham and the team over there. It's like, they're not playing no games
Starting point is 00:16:31 with the marketing. Like you said, the shit, Lechris. They're not playing. There's more marketing. It's more money. And what is it about PBC? What is it about them? I just feel like PBC is the big leagues.
Starting point is 00:16:41 You know what I'm saying? Like, it's tough. You can be a young guy coming up in the making they're going to put you in them. one or two to get your feet wet, then they're going to drop you right in that back of the tank and see if you're going to survive and swim up. And so PBC, like, the real dogs,
Starting point is 00:16:56 like it's like you've got to understand. Everybody was with Al Heyman, Brittany Goosey and the rest of their teams. Another thing I like about PBC, bro, is they allow the fighter to be a promoter. They'll teach the business to the fighters. They're showing the fighters how to win, not just done. And then they handle their own marketing. They got that shit.
Starting point is 00:17:16 They got that shit in the back. But then you got, like, you know, a competitor, like, ESPN. Like, I'm sorry to say it, but ESPN is not a good competitor for someone like Showtime who's really the house of boxing. There's no more HBO. Yeah. HBO out the dark. And it's BBC and Showtime has just been doing a phenomenal job for years.
Starting point is 00:17:36 And it's crazy that after all them years, HBO gave up on boxing because they thought it was over. Right. They thought his shit was over. Right. Now look at this shit. It's just making a surgeon back. And it's just unbelievable. And it's funny you said.
Starting point is 00:17:46 And then you got people like the. The YouTube is trying to join this world. Then the YouTube is jumping in. Then now you got the MMA fighters mad about they pay. And they ain't boxing and can't die. This is a forever sport. How do you feel about the YouTubers jumping in the boxing? I think it's dope.
Starting point is 00:18:02 I think it's dope. If anybody feel like they're a warrior and they feel like they can fight, come on, let's see what you got. You know, the greatest YouTuber that's fighting right now, Jake Paul. Yeah, Jay Paul doing this thing. And he already took a loss from a real boxer. But if he's feeling like crazy. His numbers are good.
Starting point is 00:18:17 good. And that was a smart move, a smart marketing aspect. Then he turned around and said, you know what, I'm a YouTuber and I'm going to go and fight an MMA fighter. A good MMA fighter that won a bunch of fights and a crazy little motherfucker. He beat him. And so now he's still staircaseing, and that's what boxing about.
Starting point is 00:18:35 Boxing the ball staircase and keep winning. Yeah. And I'm good. I got a twin. I was marketable from when I was ripped. Yeah. Came out marketable. Speaking of it, speaking on, how would you hit your brother relationship? Because looking from the outside, it looks like it's hot and cold. We love each other on Monday.
Starting point is 00:18:51 I'm mad at you on Tuesday. We love each other on Wednesday. I'm mad at your dick on Thursday. Man, it'd be up and down, dog. Like, straight up, me and my brother, it just be like, you gotta grow with somebody. You can't just keep, you know, like, as we
Starting point is 00:19:07 grew apart, because we got older, he got his family, I got my family, but in order to, like, you got to just grow with somebody. You know what I'm saying? And sometimes I feel like, He don't have that, he don't be growing. And I can't chest tase him. And I can't, hey, just lay your life and run into the areas that you run into.
Starting point is 00:19:25 That shit ain't got nothing to do with me. I be in my own lane. He and his own lane. And then, you know, a lot of, a lot of, like, I don't fuck with all his friends. He don't fuck with all my friends. And, you know, I don't fuck with his wife. And he don't fuck him. But, you know, we got kids or we got to try to, like, the kids try to help, you know,
Starting point is 00:19:41 men things. But sometimes it's just, like, let people learn on their own. That's an eye rolling. Yeah. And I got a big fight right now. So I got real shit to handle. I can't get distracted by the way he living there, whatever he got going on, act as stupid, any of that shit.
Starting point is 00:19:54 I'm maturing. I'm growing up as a man. Yeah, I used to run around the boxing world, want to punch on everybody and anything and whatever and getting in trouble and catching cases. And Darry James has always tried to be in my ear about how to handle myself and looking like a fool out there. And then after so many years ago by certain videos of surfaced from years ago, like one time I was in New York, I think.
Starting point is 00:20:16 And it was, I don't know, five plus six years ago, eight years ago, you know, was going off on Adrian Broner and Giovante Davis. And I didn't, we're cool, now, we're chilling. But that video just popped back up. Right. How that old is video popped back up, you know? That ain't the, that ain't being who I am right now. Right.
Starting point is 00:20:32 And I think that's just how I go, you know what I'm saying? So I got to make sure I move a precise way. Right. You know, when you grow up, because, you know, when you grow up as men and we play sports And we're super competitive. I never had a, well, I got a brother, but he way younger than me. So it was really me and my cousins. You feel what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:20:53 Super competitive all around the same age. Like, back then, nothing ain't mean more to meet it, but being better than all of them in basketball. You feel what that? That's like, that's all that mattered. Like, I was going to be the best cousin to come out this motherfucking family in basketball. So I could imagine how it is when you grow up with a twin brother, y'all both box. You're always in a boxing gym. Two grown-ass men, two little kids, always full of the testosterone.
Starting point is 00:21:23 Ain't scared to point on each other. I could imagine how competitive it was. You know what I mean? And probably still is to this day, but I do want to tell you, coming from somebody that just lost my son, nothing in life is more important than your family. So whatever y'all going through, bro, you know, y'all could get through it.
Starting point is 00:21:46 Yeah. You know what I mean? We worked. You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? You know, we worked it out and, you know, a lot of it has to, and it's me, too, a lot. Because I got to forgive it.
Starting point is 00:22:00 I don't be out there doing stupid shit, talking crazy, acting food, getting, I don't be doing that and embarrassing him. You know, like I built this name up. I built his lines only shit. Right. So I feel a type of way sometimes. Right. But then, you know, it has a lot to do with forgiving. And everybody got to be forgiven and be able to forgive.
Starting point is 00:22:18 Right. You know, and that's me, my people, my peers, the people that see me get going through shit with him, they got to understand, like, it's, I get to a point where it's not just, oh, that's your brother. Right. There's your brother, bro, and I get tired of that shit, too. But then I still got to be like, hey, y'all, we all going to forgive. We all got to be on the same page.
Starting point is 00:22:37 Right. I try not to have no resentment or any of that type of shit going on. Right. I don't envy him at all. You know, I'm doing my thing in boxing. He's doing this thing. Look at me right now. I'm going up to 168 in a position he should have been in.
Starting point is 00:22:49 And I'm going to get it all the way real. That was kind of a shocker to me. When I found out that Canello was fighting Trullo, I would automatically assume it was your brother. Because I'm like, I know, he's fighting 160-pounder. He's going to move up a weight class. And then when it said undisputed versus undisputed, I'm like, what the fuck's going on?
Starting point is 00:23:08 Like, wait, hold on. He's fighting the smaller Trullo? Yeah. So, you know, I was even shocked when I seen that. But they obviously see a different animal in me. Starting point is 00:24:47 right and that's why they would put me in there and I'm gonna stand up on I'm gonna stand on mine yeah tent toes down when I get in that ring on the 30th I'm coming to fight I'm coming to go to war I'm gonna be smart whatever I'm down for whatever and I want to say this you know
Starting point is 00:25:03 in this world we live in where we got social media you and your brother you know getting together and loving each other is going to teach your kids how it's supposed to be because your example is the men and the family of how the connection got to be and you all just got to be careful
Starting point is 00:25:19 because what y'all say or whatever do about each other because the baby's got to grow up and see that shit later on in life. Rather they in school look at your dad, look at your uncle. And you know, you just want to be mindful because the way you all love each other, everybody watching. You know, the family watching. And I don't think it's nothing that, you know, you never could get, you know,
Starting point is 00:25:35 y'all can't get by. You know what I mean? Just be mindful that because, you know, y'all do love each other. It's just that sometimes this shit gets crazy. I love it for us. Yeah, tough love. And the tough love is necessary because we've got to be on each other ass out here because if we're not, we'd be out here on some fuck shit. But I want to say, I want to get back to something.
Starting point is 00:25:49 This man was talking about competition and growing up. I don't know why you incorporated that. You was a journey man basketball player. You never made it as a professional. No, I'm just saying, you never made it as a professional to be breaking shit down. You're talking about, yeah, I understand
Starting point is 00:26:02 what you was going through. No, the fuck you don't. You never made it in a professional sport. He's talking about professional shit. You'll incorporate you playing basketball to fucking high school in a no-name college. and try to act like you was, I'm like, I had to catch that shit.
Starting point is 00:26:14 I said, whoa. Fuck you. Yeah, man, because I'll go through the competitive shit, too. You know, he was a journeyman basketball. In, in, hold up. You did. No, no, he don't know this.
Starting point is 00:26:23 They don't know this. Then he was a bullshit boxer. Got my little cousin fucked up in the ring. Acting like he was a trainer. You trained him into a thousand ass whippins. They was beating the shit out of Mac in the motherfucking ring. You knew that, man. I was in Jack, come to leave that shit.
Starting point is 00:26:35 He liked like a motherfucker. He was beating out of a son. I'm a hell of a trainer. Yeah, he was a trainer. I'm a hell of a trainer. They call me Gilly James. Listen, that thing was one in 18. Fuck it out of him.
Starting point is 00:26:46 He was a bum. He was a bum. He was a bum. He was a mother. He called me Gilly James where I'm from. Fuck as you talk about. You, you know,
Starting point is 00:26:54 I'm fooling the streets. Get the fuck out of here. Nigger, you know my hands is nice. Now, you're going to say in front of that. You can go ahead tell all the bullshit stories. You can go ahead tell all the bullshit stories. But when we talk about these hands in the streets. He talked about.
Starting point is 00:27:06 That shit don't count. That shit don't count. That shit don't count. Oh, me too little. Boo, bop, ba, oh, he's on the ground. He was a track star. Drop the. What the fuck doesn't he tell about it?
Starting point is 00:27:13 You're short, so you probably had that little man, Sam. Yeah, he did. He had a little, yes, he did. He's got his ass with delight. He's got it. He's going to stay? Listen, you only two inches to. No, no, you like five, five, eight.
Starting point is 00:27:26 Five, nine. You five, eleven. You keep trying to put nine on your shit, man. Yeah, me, fucks. You're talking about. I'm going to say this. You're five eleven, right? Hey, six feet.
Starting point is 00:27:33 I'm put that extra job with six or his shit. I ain't five eleven, nothing. I'm six feet. Yeah, with Belizziaga. What fucking sold is. Now, now, when you say promotion, it's always about business now.
Starting point is 00:27:47 And like I see, I'm seeing, like you said, fighters over Pete, they got the own promotional company, you know, with the business. And I just seen Boots do his own thing. Shout out the Boots, man,
Starting point is 00:27:57 a young, I mean. How do you do all that? You got people that run your own company for you? Yeah, we got a team. You know, we'll hold full team. We've got people that, if I want to put a fight together right now, we, you know, because of their love and there's respect I get in the boxing game, they're going easily just be like, oh, yeah, they're going to jump on board and do whatever, you know.
Starting point is 00:28:20 So I get that part. I fund everything. I would fund it, and I choose what I want. I put a fight together, promotional fights, boxing professional fights. So it's fun. It's a part of the game. That's something that I would like to do outside of boxing when I'm done with this shit, you know what I mean? Like, see, if I could find, you know, another fighter that got that lying heart in them, you know, maybe start a whole contender series like it used to be back in the way. Yeah. You know what I mean? And just make God's fight for that, that sign and bonus. I think it's a blessing because I'm seeing now, and like, it's so in the business because we've run across so many fighters that's just like, man, life kicked their ass,
Starting point is 00:28:57 man, they ain't got no money. They're in a bad situation all across the country. So parking is a sport. Yeah, man, and it's fucked up. We'd be in different cities. He'd be like, yo, that's what's the name? I'd be like, that's who? And it's fucked up. But to see now how y'all taking it the young people, y'all taking this shit to another level on the business side and just getting the paper.
Starting point is 00:29:14 You know, in boxing, it used to be one or two people that get the real paper. Now, there you buy it in paper. You know what I'm saying? And it's just a blessing that y'all got your own, you know, promotional companies and, man, and y'all going to be able to get a game to the fighters that come out of y'all.
Starting point is 00:29:27 You know what I mean? And that's what it's really about, man? But, well, when... I got this, man. So, what should you do better than Conella? I'm old better than them. My style is better. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:29:39 I feel like my speed is better. I got a lot of attributes. Just I know he's 160. He's a dog, and he got like 60-s-and-fights and shit. But I'm great at what I do. Yeah. And what I do have, it will flourish on the 30th. See, I think Canello now went from being a jab, a setup, move my head.
Starting point is 00:30:02 Now I just see, when I see Canello fight, just see him just trying to rely strictly on power now i don't see none of the shit that i used to see against austin trout and and none of them type of guys i just see him walk down he might slip and it's a walk he down he and it's like bro you're not going to if if a person could take you a punch it's going to be hard it's going to be hard for you to win you feel what i'm saying that's why when he move up to 1 to 75 and all and fight Bivol and all of him, bro, they could take your punt.
Starting point is 00:30:40 So now it's like, okay, once you do that, what you're going to do now? Because you no longer is setting shit up with the jab. I don't see no one-twos, the one-one-twos. They think it's, slip, ah! Slip high, ah! It's like, so.
Starting point is 00:30:55 Knock out. He's trying to knock something out. So you can definitely make it difficult for him with your feet. Yeah. You know what? With your feet and your jab? You longer than them?
Starting point is 00:31:04 You know, you definitely got better footwork. You know, Canello, flat foot. Oh, shit. See, Gilly James, nigga, fuck wrong with you. Hold on, just for y'all that wasn't watching. Dirk in the backseat, nigga? He checked you. Fuck is you giving out the game plan.
Starting point is 00:31:20 I wasn't with them. How I knew the game plan. Gilly James, nigga. Fuck wrong. We got open up a gym. No, now you want to jump on one day. I'm just saying, now we got open up a gym. He just talking shit about me.
Starting point is 00:31:32 Now he's jumping up a gym. See, we got to open up a gym. You know what you talk about. Get the fuck out of here, you bum. My niggas socked him, he rolled up under a car like he worked the jiffy Lou back in the day. That was a part of my defense. That was a part of the defense.
Starting point is 00:31:45 You know how you, when it go that, that was the smartest. The nigger eye was like this. The car protecting me. Lou, shout out to Lou with the dead eye. He got something about this shit. That niggas said. Somebody in a literature like that? Yeah, when I was younger.
Starting point is 00:31:56 It was on my record. It's on my record. But, you know, she got rough that day. Look at his face. He said there like. Yeah, it got rough. He went back and got your lick back. No, he got mad at fuck, no.
Starting point is 00:32:08 I got the fuck out of it. Lou pushed that nigger so hard to like a 22 one on. You ever see a boxing? You ever see a boxing. He ain't know if a nigga got shouted out. If you weren't looking, you was like this. Yeah, listen, you know, I was young, man. I had to get a body and I was betraying.
Starting point is 00:32:22 That was my part of my defense. Lou was fucking young, too. Yeah, but that was, you had like an old stuff. You may have him thinking it always sucks you a shit. He was a he was all the same. I was all the same. I was a featherweight. No, he was all the same time.
Starting point is 00:32:32 No, that's wrong. He hit him like a fucking heavy week. That's what he did. And then, you know, I told you I was nice with my heads, right? So I'm his big cousin. So now he's going to come to me. You ain't do nothing. You're fucking right.
Starting point is 00:32:44 I wasn't getting sock like that. That was the day I realized I'm not fucking with Lou. He's getting one fucking eye. I had to circle to the motherfucker. I got, I retreated. I did what was right. That shit, shit got real. He rolled up under the car, though, for real.
Starting point is 00:33:00 Yeah, I had to. He was up under that motherfucker. of the Lou left. He's up under the check of the oil transmission. I think he was right. He's getting that money now. Yeah, definitely. I didn't. That wasn't my sport. That wasn't my sport. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:15 I'm part of the game. I'm part of the gang. What was your sport? Because he was a hell of a wrestler in jail. No, I would say track. Captain of a wrestling team. I was a board. Listen, see, I was a board at. I was a board outside of more shorts. You always got caught.
Starting point is 00:33:30 First of all, he did five years of the juvenile system. them. They did 20 years in jail. No, but that's not the case. Dude, that sound like a track runner? No, no, I'm talking about when the shit come on. No, I'm talking about when the shit get real. I was a track star.
Starting point is 00:33:42 When she gets a little too, oh, I dig a little in them. You know what I'm talking about. He was, you know. He was one of the motherfuckers. You suck a punch into a run. Yeah. Yeah, that shit like that. He brought the fuck off doing the other.
Starting point is 00:33:54 You got him. You got him. He's been putting him all type of movement. Yeah, I'll be putting him in all type of moves. I just told the, they. people out here think Conello's stronger than you. Well, he's stronger than you for sure. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:34:08 Thank you. He's 200 pounds. Let me ask you a question. It's people out here that think Conello is stronger than you. Especially off that Mexican meat. Yeah. Do that matter? Is that going to matter on the 30th?
Starting point is 00:34:21 And I'm eating black people, oxtails and fucking jazz shicking and all that. But what I'm saying is, is that going to matter on the 30th? I'm eating good food, peas and rice and talk to it. Yeah. And I eat me. Mexican me too. Oh, you do? Yeah, I'm living in Texas.
Starting point is 00:34:34 Houston. Yeah, that shit is coming off the book. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that shit coming right off the over the board. Yeah, I got my love from the Mexicans. Yeah, they're down there deep in Houston too. Hey, so that, you know, that biggest shit don't mean nothing, though. Yeah.

Starting point is 00:36:19 Yes, but this nigga, you know what, all he's going, he's running to the left hand. No, I'm talking about it. As long as you throw a straight left out there, he's running into it. You ain't got to throw nothing else. I'm not fast. He seen it. I gave him a couple moves before. The fuck out of it.
Starting point is 00:36:35 He runs out. He used my shit before. He runs around, tell him motherfuckers there, too. I train arrows. Stop slide. No, I show, listen, all of them. Arrow tank,
Starting point is 00:36:45 Terrence, all of them. I showed them all boots. I showed all the moves, and they all be using my shit. Let me just take something. Now, well, this is over. I'm going to say, let me show you something. He's, I'm not listening.
Starting point is 00:36:54 He's going to live. He's going to lobby. He's running around the idea I was training Charlo. No, he's going to add to my resume. I'm saying, I'm saying, I'm putting him You know what I mean? Because when we open the gym up. I do that when you open your gym.
Starting point is 00:37:03 We open the gym up. I'm telling him. You think I'm bullshit when you go back. I gave you the money. We just, we're going to find a bill and we're getting a gym. He want to open up a gym and lie to all the kids. Yeah, I was training charlo.
Starting point is 00:37:14 I'm going to put all the pictures. I'm going to put all the pictures around the gym. You're going to get the fucking kids knocked the fuck out. No, I'm not going to train them, though. I'm going to have somebody else train them. We just going to buy a gym. The 30th, man. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:25 The big lights. Now, you don't photo some big stages, but it's safe to say. this stage here is going to be the biggest stage you ever forward on in your life yeah for sure and it's going to be how many they got to put some extra seats in that motherfucker how many old i don't know i think like 20 20 000 that ain't enough yeah yeah where's that but if it's 20 000 it's safe to say that it's going to be a show all night 12 000 mexicans in that motherfucker that's all and i'm going to have them all on my side after the end of the fight man We got a game plan for this shit
Starting point is 00:38:01 If you really got a game plan Yeah I do For sure You know that at the end of the fight You're screaming out Viva Mexico I don't do that Huh I do that
Starting point is 00:38:12 I do that Shit Hell yeah I do that And once I win Vita Mexico They gonna fuck with you though That's one thing about
Starting point is 00:38:23 Mexicans They love boxing They like fucking religion To them They love this shit So you go in there, you put on a good fight, they're going to respect it. I'm going to get him there what they want.
Starting point is 00:38:32 How are you going to get him out of here? I got some tactics. I'm saying you're thinking it's a knockout, you're thinking it's a decision, you thinking I'm just going to win? I ain't going to tell you what it is right now. Okay, that's not like that. I'm strong like that, though.
Starting point is 00:38:46 It's a possibility. It's a don't blink situation. Every fight, every time I'm in there. And so I'm going to get this dude out of there. He's going to want a rematch. Then I'm going to go and get your other boy out of there. though, well, he ain't y'all boy because he cussed y'all out. No, he just cussed me out.
Starting point is 00:39:02 That's still my boy, though. I still bet some money on him. Yeah, all right, but no matter. Against charl up? No, I'm not saying. I don't even know what's going on with that. They didn't do different ways. I don't know what the fuck.
Starting point is 00:39:12 You got to educate me first before I make my bet. You always, I always sit down to you. All right, so how do this make sense? Who do? He was in a different way. He knew more than him. I'm not betting. I know what you're not just going to throw my money out there like that.
Starting point is 00:39:24 Shit. So that's the plan. Yeah. I got a plan. Yeah. I'm going to keep it always real. If that's the plan, that's a hell of a cash out. Right.
Starting point is 00:39:34 I'm at a good point in my career. The 30th and then go here and fight. Oh, that's a hell of a cash. Damn. That's a hell of a cash out. And start the next year, somewhere around. He ain't fucking playing. And knock off your boy.
Starting point is 00:39:48 I'm knocking everybody off. That's what it's about. My boy Earl got to fight him again. So my boy Earl is going to get a deal, man. So that's definitely going down. He won his rematch. Yeah, I believe. One thing about Earl, I believe.
Starting point is 00:40:02 That motherfucker had a bigger way. Can't dreamy. Let me just tell you some. Sometimes a motherfucker could lose in the ring and you could gain more respect for him. Yeah. Because the bottom line was if the referee don't fucking stop that fight,
Starting point is 00:40:16 that fucking man don't stop coming, man. Yeah, he was going to keep fighting. So, you know, to me, it's like, even with Villa. Like, it's like, When he was fighting Boots, they should have stopped their fucking fighting the eighth round, man. And it's like, that motherfucker just is not going to stop coming
Starting point is 00:40:36 until he can't, you just got to kill a motherfucker basically in the ring. So, you know, as a boxing fan, I respect that shit. You know what I mean? I respect motherfuckers that put it all on the line. That's why I had to hit him. And to me, looking at the fight, looking at Earl, looking at all his fights coming up, he just didn't look himself that night.
Starting point is 00:40:58 He just looked off from like the second round. He just looked a little off to me. And I told him that, you know. I think it could have been a lot of little different situation. I know he trained his ass off and I know, you know, you know, that weight just not his weight no more. That's the only thing I can say. I don't want to get no excuses because he didn't get no excuses. And I say that?
Starting point is 00:41:17 I said, bro, it looked like the way he fucked him up, man. You know what I mean? You got to understand my fuck I've been my pro for, what, nine years, ten years? Yeah. 11 years to stay at one weight class bro Yeah, that's kind of crazy Nobody don't fucking do that Yeah
Starting point is 00:41:33 You got to understand Chagor Stevens Already moved up two-way classes That's why Devin Haney That's why Devin Haney Is going to struggle If he continue to fight at 135 Because you outgrew that shit
Starting point is 00:41:46 Bro When you get on the scale And you look motherfucking like this Nigger You outgrew that weight class. You just fucking killed your fucking self. You look like a fucking skeleton on that scale, bro.
Starting point is 00:42:02 So, you know, at the end of the day, you sometimes you got to, I think honestly, me personally, I think once you fight Canello, I don't think you're coming back down. I don't know, bro. I'll do whatever. I do. I can make it. I'm not like the mother fighters. They got that little curse you talking about. I can move. I've never seen no fight to
Starting point is 00:42:20 go up to weight classes, don't come back down. I could do it. I know. I believe you can do it. I got something in a system that nobody got. I got something in a system that nobody got. All right. L.S.3s back in the day, you know, you've got old cars. He got one of them right now.
Starting point is 00:42:35 I told you, I'll be believing him. He got to get some shit going on. We might got to bring him in our gym, give him some percentage. Right. Fuck that. Right. What you mean? He just told me he got some shit.
Starting point is 00:42:45 That nigger going to be somewhere in Houston eating all for us. Yeah, some of the check. Yeah, we're sitting to him long as you give me that formula you telling me about. Yeah, I got the formula. I'm talking about the formula. I'm talking about the formula. Yeah. For sure.
Starting point is 00:42:55 I got him. I own gym too, though. Yeah, I know. Y'all eating, bro. Y'all, I'm doing y'all playing. I'll be watching. Yeah. You're not playing.
Starting point is 00:43:02 I'll be watching. Got a fat-ass gym. Nice house. That crib. Nine to ten cars. Talk. Kevin. What's your favorite car?
Starting point is 00:43:10 Bus load of money. I'm good. What's your favorite car? My, uh, my Lamboe in the door. Yeah. You're not playing. That's a big one. For sure.
Starting point is 00:43:21 You're not playing. That's a big one. Second favorite car. My yours? It's all land. Just one more third favorite car. I'm just doing this for all you boxes that's not really eating. I got a Megaraptor truck.

Starting point is 00:44:01 Let me ask you a sure question, though. No, they don't stop. No, no, no. When they're talking heavy like that? They need to know. When did it turn up for you when that money really hit? Where was you had in your career?

Starting point is 00:46:00 I got a two-year-old, two-year-old son. That's what I'm going to. Jamil Jr. Outside of this relationship, I got a son. He's about to be 14 next week. That's what I'm a son. He plays sports? Yeah, he'll running back.
Starting point is 00:46:15 Oh, damn. Would you let him box if they wanted to? I think that would be up to him. I don't think he wanted to do no boxing. You know what I'm saying? You know, I know a lot of dads, their box be like, nah. I'll let him box, though. I mean, I want my son to have hands, run through whoever do something wrong, you know?
Starting point is 00:46:33 Yeah, but I'm talking about, like, on a professional type of, you know what I mean? I want everybody to box. I want everybody to have hands. So he might box now and turn pro, and I don't know, man. I teach him boxing and see where they go from there. Yeah. Yeah. You ever played any other sports ever than boxing?
Starting point is 00:46:50 Yeah, I was a football player. I played football in high school and all that. Okay, what position? A quarterback. Quarterback? Damn. Quarterback. Corner.
Starting point is 00:46:59 I pay cornerback in middle school. So you got an arm? I could throw. Yeah, I'm solid. Damn. Any scholarships? Man, anybody here vouching for this shit, man. Anybody here?
Starting point is 00:47:08 Dude, you've been winning for that long. You know what? You know what? I haven't seen a picture, but he told me that from the first damn many. They went through high school with me? Wait, hold on. Hold on. Who went to high school with him?
Starting point is 00:47:24 Now, he played quarterback. What, all right, was he left to, hold on. He played quarterback, man. He played quarterback, but he was better at knocking knickers out. Well, he's like, he played quarterback, but the nigger had eight completions on season. My fucking coach ain't one to take it without he was going to knock the coach the fucking. Hey, we're talking about my football career, bro. What are you talking about that?
Starting point is 00:47:52 We ain't talking about that, right? I can hoop I ain't hoop, though I ain't talking about that, John that niggins said We ain't talk about that No, but we're talking about The undisputed champion
Starting point is 00:48:05 154 pounds Make sure you all tune in August 30th, right? September 30th September 30th, yeah September 30th Make sure you all tune in For the biggest fight of the year
Starting point is 00:48:19 Pound for pound Pound Pound you win. It's undisputed versus understuted. No, I'm going to say if you win. I'm going to say when you win, where should you be at on a pound for pound list? No, man, they don't like me.
Starting point is 00:48:34 They ain't really like me. They don't like my demeanor. They don't like my attitude. They don't like how I flow, how I rolls. But they ain't like Floyd either. They had to put them number one. Well, if they put me, they put me. You don't get paid to be on a pound for pound list.
Starting point is 00:48:47 No, but they should respect you, though, as that. Because if they got Canello up there is number one or number two. They'll respect me when I'm doing with the game. and they don't get to see me no more. They'll respect me then. Then they go back over the old videos and all these moments like this and then they'll give me my accolades.
Starting point is 00:49:03 But I'm cool without all of that. It keeps me humble. It makes me fight harder. It gives me motivation and inspire me to keep going while I am boxing. My book game, my chapter is not finished in the sport. So it's cool. I seen the day when y'all was at the press conference, y'all kept it real professional.
Starting point is 00:49:21 Where? But y'all was standing on stage somewhere? y'all looked at each other, your shook hands. Y'all kept a real professional. I would like to think by the time the fight is going down, it's going to be a little different.
Starting point is 00:49:36 Hey, we got to get in there to fight. That's the most important part. I ain't got nothing to say. I ain't got nothing crazy to say. Canelo do it what he had to do? No, absolutely. I respect that. I respect all of that.
Starting point is 00:49:47 He ain't talking shit to me. He ain't on that bullshit because some fighters, they'd be running their mouth and disrespecting you. you and this just, man, I ain't, I ain't got time for that shit no more. But sometimes, though, that's called selling the fight. I'm going to come in this fight.
Starting point is 00:49:59 We ain't got to sell it when you're great. It's two great fighters. If you know the sport of boxing, you're going to watch all the accesses. You're going to see what's going on in the gym. You're going to know that we train in. Watch the social medias. I'm not here to be stupid. I'm done with that trying to be stupid.
Starting point is 00:50:15 We've got children watching and family watching and see me try to become great. And my coach be in my neck and the other coaches be in my neck. I don't got time to be trying to, like, the wallet. You know what I'm saying, fuck that shit. We don't got to go talking crazy about this nigger and his family and his people and all that.
Starting point is 00:50:32 I got my country on my back. He got this country on his back. Yeah, I mean, you know, when I say sell a fight, I ain't talking about disrespect. It might be a little bit of shit talking with that. Yeah, yeah, it ain't sound about talking about nobody family
Starting point is 00:50:45 because at the end of the day, if I got to fight you and we fighting each other, it ain't no need for me to be talking about your motherfucking family. I'm talking about what the, fuck, I'm a do to you when we get in there. That's what I understand. So to me, and to me, too, a lot of boxes be sensitive to, and I'm not talking about you.
Starting point is 00:51:07 I'm talking about, because I had to tell another box on here, he said, no, but he'd be disrespect to me. And I'm like, bro, every time I hear the man talk, he's talking some boxing shit, some, I fuck you up, I knock you out. To me, that's not disrespectful of you. in the boxing world. Like, if my man a boxing, I'm a boxing, I'm like, no, dog, I knock you the fuck out.
Starting point is 00:51:28 To me, that's not disrespectful. How do y'all look? I look at it like we fighters, that's what we do. Yeah, I feel you on that. You know what I mean? That's how it should be. But you're right. A lot of these motherfuckers just be sensitive
Starting point is 00:51:39 and got a lot of fear in the heart. It's what it is. You know what I'm saying? I ain't going to run around here. Oh, everybody in the world saying, Canelo this and that. But I got like a hidden confidence in me that I know it's going to shock
Starting point is 00:51:54 the world and I can't work to the formula. He got the formula. I got that formula. He got that formula. He got the formula. Well, listen, I'm going to tell you right now, and I don't do no bluffing because I'm going to post my ticket. Yeah. I'm going to bet 10,000 on you. Yeah. Because you're going to be
Starting point is 00:52:10 the underdog, so I'm hoping they do something ridiculous. I hope they make you a plus 800 or something. Shit, a plus 600 or some goofy shit. Go ahead and fuck up. Yeah. So I could cash out. That's what's up.
