Starting point is 00:01:50 Hey, that right there was Mike Knox. Back block. That's a Banga, man. For a lot of people that didn't know, I, I ruled a lot of Mike guys. from Mike Knox Project. I used to write for him and Gil when I was in jail, so I'm a writer.
Starting point is 00:02:02 People that don't know that I ain't want to put that out there, but you're now to do that. Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, minute, me, million, million dollars worth a game, man, a wallow two, six, seven.
Starting point is 00:02:15 I'm Gilly the king. Don't call me white girl. But call a white girl, because you look like a white girl, when you see it, don't call him on and call a white girl. It's only the tackler, what's up, y'all. Listen, and this is powered by a bar stew, sports. come to the ladies department and it's time to get busy and uh you can't activate what you need to be activated in order to activate what you're trying to do with the lady so one thing i like about
Starting point is 00:02:38 roman swipes is uh uh gil was having some problems with jean i gave him to him to him because they had to test them out and they worked what he did was all he did was open the pack swiped it on or just like a little wipe he wiped it on himself let it dry it was party time he said man wow you saved me man he called me it was like two o'clock in the morning one time i was sleep i had like 15 minutes calls oh man you brought me back man i was out the game my piece my piece my piece checked out on me man my piece been going man I've been lost my piece man brung you know one thing
Starting point is 00:03:05 one thing about the Roman swipe what they do is you know and you got to go to get Roman dot com it's G-E-T-R-O-M-A-N dot com forward slash million right? That's what you got to do you got to do that and what you do is you go and get the Roman swipes one thing about them is small they discreet you can stuff
Starting point is 00:03:23 them in your wild lip job it's just low key just low key uh I'm pretty sure a lot of guys you need probably uh probably, you know, checked out, but, like, Gil, because Gil is up in age. And when you're peace check out, but, you know, it's peace checked out on him. A lot of you guys, peace checking out.
Starting point is 00:03:36 And it's just like, oh, man, I can't do nothing. No, listen, man, this is just so easy to use. All you do is take the swipe out of the package. You swipe it on, let it dry, and you're good to go. You're good. Listen, but once again, what you do is to get the Roman swipe on someone. Once again, they can put them in your wallet. You can hide them.
Starting point is 00:03:53 You can do with everything. And you want to bring that beat back. Like Gil brought that beat back because he was out of the game. He's back in the game. Roman put Gil back in the game like just imagine you're a star player then all of a sudden you keep shooting and you just keep hitting air balls so now they put you on the bench and you deep in the bench so he was on the bench looking like oh man I wish I can get in the game he keeps reminacing on who he was he telling the younger players oh man I used to be in a game I was
Starting point is 00:04:15 this to the third I you know Roman swipe him back in the court he's back on the court man so go to get roman dot com forward slash million and it's just like that he'll be putting a lot of fucking muscle on my jacket today like I'm gonna let you live I'm gonna let you live for putting the muscle all on my jacket let's get to me and Oswald for game yeah I want to talk to you youngans right because
Starting point is 00:04:39 it's not just the young no no no no period but but listen but but see one thing about me I don't concentrate on the old knickers I don't concentrate on the youngs and the youngans that I deal with on the daily basis you feel what I'm saying so all the youngans out there right learn
Starting point is 00:04:58 how to take constructive criticism you feel what I'm saying y'all can be around somebody who got all the knowledge to give you the game of what it's going to take for you to win
Starting point is 00:05:14 and instead of embracing it and listening and in taking that knowledge y'all turned it into oh he hating and a lot of times y'all let y'all
Starting point is 00:05:28 y'all let other people's opinions turn into emotions like another motherfucker's opinions another motherfucker's opinion will activate your emotions because the motherfucker tell you oh no I don't like that song or
Starting point is 00:05:44 that's just an opinion bro but now all of a sudden you let it activate your emotions you all emotional all them niggas be hating on me or a motherfucker while a bump into a young boy at the gas station he get his young boy all the game
Starting point is 00:06:02 he needed to hear I guarantee you that that young boy left that gas station to call Walo the old nut-ass nigga I'm just keeping it real with it because you would explain to them that the conversation you had
Starting point is 00:06:14 with this young guy at the gas station man I had a conversation with this one young boy and he just didn't understand it he was talking about how he do this music and all that I'm just giving the game like listen young I'm not telling you that you're not good I'm telling you that the way this game
Starting point is 00:06:27 set up is like a couple things you need to be I'm just telling you how your infrastructure right it's cool that you rapping he just was rapping to be rapping out here yeah I'm hot hey everybody say I'm hot around the way I said all right young boy you got the song this how you do it this how you get your stuff on iTunes this how you get your link tree link did what's name you put your YouTube in there
Starting point is 00:06:43 I'm giving him all that he like but no man like I'm hot like you ain't even understand what I'm saying oh head I'm hot like people keep saying I'm hot I'm like okay I'm not talking about you being hot I understand you saying you hot and I understand the people that know you say you hot That's not what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:06:58 You might be hot. What I'm telling you is I'm giving you the business side of the game because you got, listen, business do business with business. So at the end of the day, they're trying to write these checks to a furniture company, which is a LLC. So they're trying to be trying to, you ain't, I'm just trying to tell you to get your stuff in order so you can have your infrastructure. And when they see you, they're like, damn, we just, all he need to do is to get this
Starting point is 00:07:18 niggas and bread. He's already on his way. But you're telling me, you just rap. Do you not mean people just rap? And I'm like, damn, young you're like, we live in Philly. It's 50,000 niggas that rap. Thanks. I'm just trying to get you the information so you can separate yourself
Starting point is 00:07:31 and you can have your whole front so you can know you can know how to upload, how to get paid for your songs, how to just upload a song anytime you went through this row kid, how to do all the shit out of the length of you out of YouTube so you can get your stuff so you get the monetization for the YouTube, get a certain amount of view. That's all I try to get this boy, a whole time. You're like, no, oh yeah, like that's crazy. I'm trying to, like, he was getting emotional. I'm like, oh, young, I'm just giving you the game.
Starting point is 00:07:52 And it's like, damn, you can't even give nobody game. We're living in a time now where it's, though, You can't say nothing nobody You can't give them an opinion You can't try to enhance their shit Everybody whole thing is If you don't say yes right now Or if you don't agree with what they got going on
Starting point is 00:08:06 You hating. You hateing or They get ultra-emotional They get, I'm talking about It's to the point right now Where's though The most disrespectful Like it's two things
Starting point is 00:08:15 The most disrespectful thing You could do in the hood now And especially with the social media Everybody want to be popular All right Everybody's super emotional Is two things Number one is don't agree
Starting point is 00:08:26 with what they got going on and they feel these doors the master plan already even though you might be giving them information to a hand stay shit if you don't, a lot of people
Starting point is 00:08:33 no man I'm saying I don't need that you ain't even they'd be triven about that and number two like you can't even tell nobody the most disrespectful thing you can say in the black community
Starting point is 00:08:40 is no or not right now I'm doing something like you got motherfuckers out here when you to stop your whole program in order to give attention to what they got going on fuck what you doing just because today
Starting point is 00:08:50 they feel like doing something I want to do something today I want to do something all of a sudden fuck what you're doing fuck what you got to establish, fuck your whole enterprise and your whole company and what you're doing.
Starting point is 00:09:00 I need you to do this to the third. Sooner you say, no, I can't do that right now. I'm on another mission. I'm doing something. Motherfuckers lose their mind. That's like spitting somebody's face in the black community. Right. And I'm going to tell y'all like this, man.
Starting point is 00:09:13 Respect a nigger brand, man. Please. Hmm. Hmm. Like, like respect a nigger's brand, man. When a motherfucker work hard for their brand and they work hard to build up something for themselves respect that shit
Starting point is 00:09:29 like because Walo would tell you I don't give a fuck who it is my motherfucking mom called me yo Rardi your little cousin he just put a
Starting point is 00:09:43 clothing company out post them up my little cousin who Jamar I don't know that nigger I'm not posting that shit up just because he my fucking cousin and he did
Starting point is 00:09:58 then I go to the nigga page nigga I won shirt so respect a nigga brand man because I don't get fuck of you my mother my brother my father my sister my kids
Starting point is 00:10:13 tuti respect a nigga brand man and that don't that don't just go for me that go for everybody out here that work hard to build up their fucking brand man Like y'all think That
Starting point is 00:10:28 Y'all sit back And see a motherfucker Build their brand up And y'all think that shit came easy And just because You know a motherfucker They're supposed to just Look the fuck out for you
Starting point is 00:10:43 A nigger who ain't sat around Ain't built shit up It ain't like you meeting a nigga Halfway You got a hustle going on You got proof of a concept that you got a hustle going on no no no no oh i just started my my t-shirt company today post me up get the fuck out of here man respect a motherfucker hustle man respect a nigger grind
Starting point is 00:11:10 man because when you finally decide to put the fucking work in and get your own fucking brand that you put hundreds and thousands of fucking hours and fucking days in building your shit up you're going to want a motherfucker to respect your shit thanks sorry you got a little bit personal
Starting point is 00:11:34 no I like that no I feel the same way people come to my damn all the time throw this up post this up I make money promoting shit it's not and not only that I don't promote just anything like I don't just promote whatever you have to sell you gotta have
Starting point is 00:11:47 something that's worth to me promoting because I want the people to be able to trust what I'm saying oh you should try this out so yeah I want to try your product out and you have to pay me to do that to try it and post it and I don't owe you nothing I don't owe you shit and it really feels like that like it's just lazy like a lot of y'all
Starting point is 00:12:04 just sit home, you're jealous of what other people have and then the first chance you get you try to throw some money into something and then you end up with a box of shit in your basement because you're not pushing it, you're not putting the effort in to market it and like how do you have a clothing line and you don't think you're going to pay for
Starting point is 00:12:19 advertisement or pay for promotion like how the fuck is that not in your plans and it's like I had people really like real deal like no my shit is fire and that's why you should like no that's not how shit works and if that's your baby put some fucking effort into your investment like really push that shit make that shit day and night other than that what was the point because I don't owe you shit people don't know about it the business don't exist period it's like a lot of y'all think that and it's at the end of the debate always is oh yeah you all take social media too serious you got it sis you take this instagram shit to shit Instagram pay the bills okay
Starting point is 00:12:53 Tell them again Instagram paid the bills It's big money on Instagram But that's how they try to downplay your shit Ain't it funny? You come to me Because you want me to post your shit But when I tell you
Starting point is 00:13:06 I need a check Now It ain't that deep You the victim It ain't even that deep Since you take Instagram too deep No bitch You're not taking your clothing line
Starting point is 00:13:16 Deep enough At all Facts At all You thought Oh you thought because Oh you can't out with a clothing line and you
Starting point is 00:13:25 got a little fat ass on you and your titty's sitting all up on the fence puppies trying to hop the gate and you got the little pretty little face with your old hair coming down. You thought the nigga was going to post you negative bitch. I don't get fuck about none of that. I got two at the crib.
Starting point is 00:13:42 I'm going to fuck about none of that. Another nigga going to throw a sausage in your mouth. It's not that deep. I ain't throwing this sausage in your fucking mouth. So how the fuck do I benefit? let me tell you something i show a lot of niggas love on the strength you know why because that's what god placed on my heart at that motherfucking time right and they wasn't asking for no love
Starting point is 00:14:03 it was your choice they wasn't asking for no love that shit was genuine they was just sitting there i might have been busting it up with a young nigga he told me his motherfucking situation but he ain't asking for no love he'd be just talking you can see the genuine shit in him and then i just say you know what young and i want to bless you i don't want to stress you i want to bless you nigga let's get it but that's because that's what God put on my heart that day ain't no motherfucker ever going to jump in my DM and think they're going to put some pressure on a nigga post that up for me okay oh yeah jump off the bridge nigga and if you live when you when you go through the school kill when it take you
Starting point is 00:14:37 all down it then I post your shit up yep all right but until then nigga you can get the fuck out of here man I post up what I want to post up man send me your shit and say OG check me out tell me if my shit hot or not then you might see yourself in my top nine damn shout out to this young boy but you ain't gonna get me with it throw me up old head no how about when they try to hit you with the positive shit well I know that you know you're in the activism I know you're looking out for the young
Starting point is 00:15:02 niggas yeah I look out for you need to spread this that I want to look out you know I mean that's a that's think a lot of niggas try to do the wallow they try to run up in your DM and be like oh I see you talk my black people sister this is all positive these t-shirts this is positive this will say black lives matters well who who fucking gets the money after you sell the t-shirt nigger you like it's not going
Starting point is 00:15:20 to an organization you ask it for a favorite because of the positive message. It's still your money is your check. What are you talking about? And it's crazy because it's mostly men. Women come correct to my damn cash app ready all the time on a regular basis. It's important that people understand investing your business. Yeah. A lot of entrepreneurs right now, they want to take shortcuts. But the number one thing you can do to get your return is to invest in people that already got a brand. They got a trusted audience. You know, when people have a trusted audience, you got your product and you got to be ready. Like we always talk about be ready to catch that
Starting point is 00:15:52 Ali Up wants somebody to put you in there too. I'll be talking about having the infrastructure and play, but my whole thing is this. If you're out there and you're starting to business, make sure you're having a marketing budget when you start in the business. That's a part of the business. It is the part I know so-and-so, so-and-so,
Starting point is 00:16:06 so-and-so, because you might know these people, but they get paid to advertise shit. You're making your business on a favor. Like, I don't, like, I don't even talk about numbers, but if motherfuckers knew with Instagram, like, my my Instagram business is bigger than businesses they get more big businesses that you see out here
Starting point is 00:16:25 this is a business like this shit is really a business like I mean them nickas seen a little boozy Mark man turn my shit on man I got drops and shit I gotta do man If I fucked up man I'm sorry man For real man Give me my shit back back man
Starting point is 00:16:46 I got people shit I gotta post man Look you lose your IG fucked over. And look, boosies are somebody that was in the street. So he's seen money, street money, entertainment money, Instagram money, real money. Y'all think it's a fucking game. That shit is crazy. I'm going to say this, not to say this, but me and Gil got people at Instagram.
Starting point is 00:17:05 Like, we really like, this ain't no, we just can you help me get a blue check? No, we don't do small shit like that, but we got that respect us in the fuck y'all. But wait, wait, wait. we might don't get you a blue check, but we can get you a new check. I'm with it.
Starting point is 00:17:25 New check. Damn. God damn. Oh, yeah. That money for real, though. Seriously, that Instagram money, y'all can throw your little jazz and shit, but a lot of y'all chasing that's why it's just better if you just really,
Starting point is 00:17:36 really look into what you're doing before you get into it. Right. Like, research what you're doing. Then you would know you need a marketing budget. You would already know that. I'm going to just put it like this. On a small end, you're supposed to get.
Starting point is 00:17:49 This is a small end for, like, people that's like probably ain't got the engagement. Engagement count on another level. Me and Gil got some crazy engagement. I would say this. On the small end, you're supposed to get $1,000 per 100,000 followers on a small end. That's like small shit. Think about that. So when you look at that dudes with these big numbers, million followers, half a million, people, people are already getting shared for one post.
Starting point is 00:18:15 That's one post. So you got to be mindful when you step in to somebody talking about some this and they're getting business. just, you know, and I understand that anybody doing their thing, but a motherfucker got 600,000 followers. Somebody just gave him six grand and put one fucking post up there for 24 hours and you coming to them, man, you want some nuts shit. No.
Starting point is 00:18:30 Yeah. Like, this is a business. For real. You can't have the brand fucked up. Now, you got people like me and Gil that look out or I'd be thankful, but don't nobody owe your shit. Because at the end of the day, I remember one day Gil sitting in the crazy, damn,
Starting point is 00:18:43 wow, you look there for, you know, I remember one time, you know, I was making money over selling my T-shirts, You want to make money off Instagram. Listen, because I was, I was, there's no bullshit. I was living, and Gil says some deep shit one time. This one I was first came home, I'm living with Nandy. I told you enough was enough, maybe.
Starting point is 00:18:58 I probably did about 365 fucking commercials for people, through people up, through rappers up, do it, boom, boom, boom. I'm talking about today, all type of shit. Gills said some shit to me one time. He said, damn, low, you know. Boom, boom, boom. I said, okay, you're right. You right.
Starting point is 00:19:12 The first commercial, I made $500 for one minute. I made $500. Like two weeks later, later, I got $7.50, and I just keep running. I'm talking about I wasn't even home six months So Instagram like a lot of people just And then after that I'm talking about I wasn't home Eight months
Starting point is 00:19:26 I was in the thousands Because I understand Because nobody was doing it like that way too At the end of the day too He put the work in Build the brand He put the work in So let's get into our second sponsor man
Starting point is 00:19:39 Daddy's Daddy you can shake it You can shake shake shake shake Shake shake shake I got the baby in the cup Put it in the cup Put it in the cup, storage it up. Hey, listen.
Starting point is 00:19:52 One in seven couples experience infertility. Men are responsible for half of all known infatility cases. One in ten men are infantile. Daddies is here to normalize the conversation around men, reproductive health. We want to make the process of fertility testing in sperm banking as comfortable, convenient, cost-effective as possible. No longer do you have to travel to a sperm bank. masturbating uncomfortable room
Starting point is 00:20:20 and wait weeks to receive results Daddy has developed the high tech at home sperm collection kit bam there you go look at that
Starting point is 00:20:29 dropped the cup you dropped the lid but you're shaking bake up in here you're shaking this on this is a safe look at this this is a fucking
Starting point is 00:20:37 that's a safe for your babies yeah hey baby oh my mother son I got my son me put my son I mean make sure he's safe wham
Starting point is 00:20:44 putting him right up in there you're safe he's protected this is like a baby day daycare. No. Or that's like, that's like
Starting point is 00:20:51 for rich kids. Like, like, like, put him up in here. That's like for rich kids, like Kanye West kids, Northwest and all. It's like the security.
Starting point is 00:20:59 Lock it. Listen, he put the security on it. Send it right back to the lab. The lab frees your stuff, hold it. So when you ever you ready, and because you never know,
Starting point is 00:21:07 your piece might go out. Like Gil piece went out and I don't, you know, his piece went out on him in. But you keep talking about my piece. I'm just saying. I'm just saying, if you know, you don't want your sperm count to go down.
Starting point is 00:21:15 So you, While you're young, you're strong, you're doing it. Ah, you shake the dice, throw it up in here, and then you protect it. So you go from, okay, let me put my baby in here. Okay, let me get somebody to watch my baby, daycare. Bang, this joint is like semen daycare. Put the join in there, wham, lock it. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:21:30 And they hold it. And Daddy has developed a high tech, which, you know, kit right there, which allows tests and destroy your sperm, all without leaving the company your own home and you get the results in 24 hours. these services usually cost $1,000 to a sperm bank not with daddy's. Nope.
Starting point is 00:21:51 Home kid $199 that you store all your kids right in there. They cool, safe. Daycare. Wham! They cool. Off the market. You ain't got to worry about nothing. Just waiting on you. I bring you home from daycare when I'm ready.
Starting point is 00:22:06 Yep. There you go. And at the end of the day, because Daddy is huge fans of ours through sports, anybody that's listening to our podcast and you go to daddy's kit.com, D-A-D-I-K-T-com, and you insert the code game 50 at checkout to order your kit today.
Starting point is 00:22:27 You receive $50 off. Go get with Daddy. Save the kids. Let's get into talking about people knowing what they bring to the table and knowing what role to play. I'm going to say this. You've got to know your strengths and respect your weaknesses.
Starting point is 00:22:48 And when you're a team player, like me, I'm the type of guy that when I play basketball, people... And what does team mean? Together, each achieve more. Okay. One thing, I'm the type of guy like this. A lot of people say my game is sort of like Dennis Robbman, Bill Lambair's. I grab rebounds and I'll file people. You're a bum.
Starting point is 00:23:02 No, I'm not. I'm not. And some people call me... I dropped you off, though. I ain't worried about that. You're old people. I took a nice on you. And listen.
Starting point is 00:23:10 Listen, yeah, I play basketball. Everybody know. Everybody know I play basketball. Fuck you me. I beat him and Gilly. But this old twist. Yeah, beat both of them. He's lying.
Starting point is 00:23:16 But this old twist. He's a fucking football play on the basketball court. But that's an attorney to tackle. Look at his name. He was tackling his name. He was tackling and shit and anything. So listen, one thing about me is this. Like, a lot of people, you know what they were saying.
Starting point is 00:23:27 Like from seeing the video, it was like, I'm sort of like Reggie Millie and Ray Allen. Fuck out of him. They know, they know, they really do. They say, you're like fucking Stanley fucking Roberts. A lot of people. A lot of people say my game. So what happened is this is what happened, Peeb game. So when you are a team.
Starting point is 00:23:43 team player, you got to know your fucking role. See, everybody, we're living in the Instagram, weird whiz, though. Everybody got to be the star. No, you could be a part of the journey with the star. You're still part of the team when the team win. You win. But a lot of people would be saying,
Starting point is 00:23:55 oh, no, I just want to take from the table. All right, what you bring it from the table? Like, I keep telling people. dudes, I run into dudes, you know, wherever artists, wherever fashion design or whatever, and they pull up on me. They got two, three people with him. Like, yeah, I got to get a camera man.
Starting point is 00:24:08 I said, your homie right there, the camie man. Yeah, a homie right here. He's a homie right here. He's just fucking security. Right there, this is your assistant. You got 15 people with you, but nobody, everybody too cool to really help the team.
Starting point is 00:24:19 They just want to take from the fucking table. So what you bring it to the table? You pulled it up to the table. It already got the silverware. Your homie, he got the fish, he got the chicken, he got the baked macaroni and cheese. He got everything. You ain't bring shit to the table.
Starting point is 00:24:32 You take it from the table. Right. Fuck. And I'm going to say this, man. If you got niggas around you, and they don't support what you got going on. Love them niggas from a distance, man. Because if I'm around him every day
Starting point is 00:24:57 and I don't support what he got going on, I don't believe what he got going on, there's no way I can feed him. You ain't want to go. There's no way I can feed him positive energy. There's no way I can feed him positive energy if I don't believe in what he got going on. And energy is everything.

Starting point is 00:33:43 White girl, white girl, one thing. That was the foundation. Hold, hold, hold, hold. Gill, give, give, give, give, good. You're not qualified to answer this. White girl. Why are you hollering? I'm going to be penalized because I'm a part of, I'm a history.
Starting point is 00:33:54 You're not historian. I got to, you're going to be penis lies. I said penal lies. He's a fucking smut. You got to say dudes like L, L, that's why I said, Dougie Fresh, the show. Legend there. You got slick.
Starting point is 00:34:06 Okay, but the whole list can't be old niggas. I can't, you know, we're not forgetting about them. Fuck as you're talking about. All right, well, fuck it. Is nobody new on there? There's nothing new. Because this music is forgettable. A lot of music is forgettable.
Starting point is 00:34:18 I ain't trying to knock nobody, but a lot of times- That's knocking everybody. Okay, okay, okay. A lot of motherfuckers, you're not going to remember their music. Okay, okay, no disrespect, no, no disrespect, right? Tell me one rapper, right? Of the new ever, right? That lean back was my shit, too.
Starting point is 00:34:33 No, no, no disrespect. Tell me one rapper from. the new era who put a song out last year that we listening to this year. Some people make forgettable music. She's stuck. There's no way I can answer that question. Young thug. I just say something.

If I listen to it. You're going to listen to Dead Mama. All you got to do is turn on any old school station right now.
Starting point is 00:35:18 That shit going to be on there. You know what else is going to be on there? Any old school station. You know why? Because in order to make it 20 years, it had to be a hell of a motherfucking hit when it was out. Okay. I just asked you to tell me one record that came out last year that, that you're still listening to this fucking year
Starting point is 00:35:38 and you couldn't fucking do it. It's on the tip of my tongue. Okay. All right, listen, these people that got a song in there, they got to have a song in there. Jay Z, Biggie, Naz, Wutang, D-MX, 50-cent, job room.
Starting point is 00:35:52 I don't think Wutang got to be on it. You're out of your fucking, don't disrespect. Don't disrespect my knowledge. Don't disrespect my numbers. Is it numbers or not? No, you're disrespecting. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

Starting point is 00:36:23 when we played ball back then, it was different from now. Like, I keep telling y'all, when Mike, me, when we all played ball back then? You. No, I played ball. Mike, me.
Starting point is 00:36:32 Mike as in Jordan. I already dropped you off. Yeah, no, because, see, see, let me just explain this something to the young boys. I don't shut up. Let me say some of y'all. When I mentioned my name with Mike and all that, I'm talking about back in the day when we played ball. You play ball with Michael Jordan. It's not about playing Mike.
Starting point is 00:36:46 I played in the same time he was playing. He was playing in Chicago. I was playing in North Philly. So we played similar games. That's what I'm saying. So we played for real. Like, you could file a nigga and nothing to have. Like, you breathe on a fucking nigga.
Starting point is 00:37:00 Like, these dudes play soft now. I keep telling you all. Play like posies. Listen, none of them, Bill Lambert were the. These dudes were going to emergency room. They was going to an emergency room. All right, man, I can't sit here and listen to this nigga talk about my fucking him playing basketball.
Starting point is 00:37:14 What? I play basketball. You fucking hate it. You think he'd be hating on my game. But listen. You play a lot of pocketball I heard up to petting. Yeah, all right, whatever. But listen, we got DMX in there, right?
Starting point is 00:37:23 JZ is in there. DMX, get at me, dog. All right. JZ. Hard-night life. Hard-knock life. Biggie Smalls, one more chance. All right.
Starting point is 00:37:32 Naz, if I rule the world. Bet. Wu-Tang, protect your neck Wu-Tang protect your neck Dougie Fresh, the show Dougie Fresh to show No, fuck that We're not even gonna disrespect New York
Starting point is 00:37:43 You can't come up with 10 You can't come up with 10 songs You can't And I say Annie up and they dismiss Mob deep shook one They're from Brooklyn You can't come Listen
Starting point is 00:37:52 I love lean back too That was my shit That was my shit See y'all I never could come I came up with my 10 You ain't come up with no fucking 10 You can't come up with 10
Starting point is 00:38:03 You're disrespecting some legend I don't give a fuck And I'm not, I can't cheat him by putting Tupac on this. It's a cheating. Biggie, one more chance. Muffucking. Tupac, any fucking song you want. Cheezing.
Starting point is 00:38:15 Cheap. Hard knock life. Wutane Klan. Protect your neck. Douggy Fresh to show. I do like W.T. Klan before you start talking about comments.
Starting point is 00:38:28 My beat, shook ones. 36 chambers. Nobody can come up. I listened to it. I did. I like my favorite one. L. L.L. Rock the bells. Come on.
Starting point is 00:38:44 Eric B. Rock him. Jew. Oh, what the fuck. Eric B. Rock him is a official. Jow Roo. And Jow Roo. No, he's a fucking nut.
Starting point is 00:38:53 You fucking the whole joint of him, Gil. All right, let me, hey, hey. I like Big Daddy King, though. Let us give y'all some game, right? Because so many motherfuckers be in my DM, like, you know, and I don't be really having time to hit y'all back about starting a podcast they okay let me just let you all know right
Starting point is 00:39:12 because everybody just think it's sweet they just gonna start a podcast they just going I just want y'all to know and it's y'all can do it I just want you to know what you up against just understand it's like 600,000 podcasts on Apple alone I know what we do we make that shit look easy
Starting point is 00:39:33 500,000, right. And it's over a million shows on Spotify. But it's not easy. We didn't just wake up one day and say, oh, we're going to do a podcast and it just worked. I've been doing a million dollars with a game since 2012. That's called putting a lot of leg working. That was five years before Walu even came home from jail. That's called putting a lot of leg work in.
Starting point is 00:40:01 So for everybody who's sitting back. And you got the ideas And you just think Oh, I'm gonna start my podcast But you ain't got no audience You ain't put no leg work in You just looking from Like
Starting point is 00:40:17 It's tinted windows on this limo man Where motherfuckers can see out And you can't see in man You're trying to see in And you think You don't know what's around What's in that motherfucking limo So all of y'all
Starting point is 00:40:31 With these great ideas I'm gonna start my podcast I'm going to start my podcast. I'm going to don't think that shit just going to blow up for you. You got to stay down. And sometimes you might have to, sometimes you might have to get in the position
Starting point is 00:40:41 whereas though, the most important things, I'm going to give you all some tips. The most important things is a audience. If you already got an audience, you've got a movement that's cool. But if you don't have an audience, I'm not saying you can't make nothing happening.
Starting point is 00:40:54 Everything is possible. It's going to be hard to even chart. Like people will be trying to chart. That shit going to be hard. Because number one, let me give you the game about us. When we came out, within seven hours from the from the from the movie dropped uh april i was in utah i never forget because i was watching the charts within seven hours of we dropped we was number 11 in comedy
Starting point is 00:41:13 and then within less than 15 15 16 hours we was number four out of the top 500,000 podcasts on apple we was number four and we was number two and that's in all categories and we was number two in comedy right under joe rogan so what i'm saying is that we had We had the people that wanted that for us and was ready for it. I'm not discouraged and telling nobody not to do it. But I'm going to give you all some tips on the things that we utilize infrastructure-wise. Number one, we ran our podcast through Buzz Sprout. Buzz Sprout is an independent distributor that you pay a couple of dollars for.
Starting point is 00:41:47 Buzz Sprout gets your shit on Apple Podcasts, Spotify podcast, Sketcher. I think I'm saying the name right, Stetcher, a motherfucker, Google, everywhere. It gets your shit everywhere, and it gives you a bunch of data. And I'm talking about the audio part. See, the most important part is the audio. That's how you sell ads and all this stuff, this and that. You know, you got YouTube too, right? You got Buzz Sprout, you got YouTube, you got Link Tree.
Starting point is 00:42:09 And I'm going to tell you why these three is important. Talk to them. The East Three is important because you want your visual. If you want a visual with your podcast, and you can shoot it whatever. If you got an iPhone, you can shoot it whatever, if you can forward these type of mics, you know what I mean, you can shoot, you know, the Zoom or whatever, the Road, the Road Podmaster, podcast or whatever. It's different shit, it's different mics, whatever.
Starting point is 00:42:30 But some people could just shoot it on the iPhone, shoot the old. audio or whatever. Now, this is why Buzz Sprout. BuzzProw, like I said, it gets your shit to all these platforms. It gets you all over the place, all that type of stuff, right? Now, YouTube is important because people want to see the visual. You got people that want to see the visual, and you
Starting point is 00:42:46 got people that want to see, hear the audio. Some people like to drive, some people, well, whatever. But you need a link tree. Link tree is important because link tree is weird as though a person could just have that one link that you can sit around, your link in bio, your link whatever. You can have it on your swipe, but you've got more than 10,000 followers on Instagram. But the
Starting point is 00:43:02 Link tree is very important because on the link tree, you got people that got different platforms. They say, like, if I'm not mistaken, like 75% of Android users, black people, that's what I'm, you know, I'm not, check, I correct me if I'm wrong, but a lot of people got Android, so some people need to hear it on a different platform. Some people might, like, a lot of people don't have Apple to hear it on Apple. Some people might listen to it on Spotify, Google Play, whatever they might listen to it. So when you have your link tree inside your link tree is you can put all the links of the things you got, you can have your website in there, you can have your merch in there, you can have your podcast to Apple. your podcast to Spotify, your podcast to Google, your podcast to Stetschard, the visual podcast and YouTube, you can put it in all these different things. So don't be discouraged, do your thing, but make sure you got your infrastructure right and make sure you really, you really get, you can see your downloads. That's why I say running through Buzzsprout.
Starting point is 00:43:47 When we was running our stuff through Buzzsprout, we've seen people all over, no matter where you was at, if you was in a small town in Michigan, in Michigan State, if you was in a small town in Maine, we saw every town and how many people was listening to it, how many plays we got, how many listens, we've seen all that shit. every week I would send the numbers around and I was show damn we did this we did 50,000 we did this and we was part of the 1% of podcast out here to do over 1550,000 download we was only part of 1% so a lot of people they just think are sweet I'm gonna do it's not sweet
Starting point is 00:44:16 and me telling you this is not to discourage no no sir it's just me telling you this to let you know what you up against it's like me telling a young nigga that want to rap like you got to understand it's 50,000 rapids in every city in America so
Starting point is 00:44:31 but no and this industry just no what you up against. In this industry that we in Gildo, there's more podcasts than it's rappers in the industry. Like there's more
Starting point is 00:44:39 podcasts is probably out here than rappers in the industry. You think it's more rappers? Absolutely. You think it's more
Starting point is 00:44:46 than... It's 500,000 rappers in Philly, man. Man, yeah. I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, about what it's called
Starting point is 00:44:53 old-ass bitch. Everywhere. You put in a... It just felt like in Philly everybody out of a rap or poetry or a singer or something
Starting point is 00:45:01 in Philly. Like, Nicky mom came to me Tell me she put the motherfucker I believe OAB album out old ass bitch Yeah I believe She older than the motherfucker
Starting point is 00:45:11 Missing teeth all of here Tell me she rap bitch If you don't cut it the fuck out You know what And I'm gonna say something about music I'm gonna say something about music When I went to get Gil And I just to bring this up
Starting point is 00:45:22 When I went to got Gil And took him to the studio When I was first managing I didn't I was your manager I took you to the studio I went and got the logos done You was not doing this
Starting point is 00:45:31 You were the CEO of the figures That's correct. Yeah, I was the founder, you know. And you was my manager. Walo, walo. That was just nuts. He was my, I was his manager. But a lot of the dude was my man.
Starting point is 00:45:41 I'd give me money. Go get the logo, done. Get the fuck out of it. You miss all the fun. That must suck. But listen, let me explain some of the time to y'all. It's very important. It ain't good.
Starting point is 00:45:48 What was so great about? You ain't even get to fuck no bitches on the major figuretip. It don't matter. Guard named Bernard gave him from vicious dreams. But listen, this, this would be so good about me and Gil. When me and Gil started our thing We wasn't trying to be like nobody else in Philly Young Boys this before
Starting point is 00:46:08 This one like probably was like What 15 different rap Rap people in Philly and it was mostly groups This before rap this one rap was looking at Like you're nut-ass nigga you was rapping That was like nut shit I could be like come on cuz we got it We gonna get some money
Starting point is 00:46:21 I'm listening to Master P I got his shit I know he's doing independent I'm like we're gonna get this money So what happened is me and Gil said oh damn We're cool because we wasn't rapping like nobody else Our whole rap was fly nigga rap And a lot of niggas wasn't doing that In Philly at the time
Starting point is 00:46:35 In the way that we was doing The people was rapping But they was rapping like The real hip hop hip hop way I flip shit like an acrobat You know my shit is fat That type of rap shit I'm out of space
Starting point is 00:46:45 And the place and the right That type of rap What you was talking about? What was my first rap When I went to the studio I told him get much Lou Polo Sue Lexis Coup The whole 13th Street Money
Starting point is 00:46:54 Green Gator Boots Boots buying young boys O's to buy gear for their holes Got a little mob made up A little wild owes Trying to get mad cash Young was growing up too fast I was talking that shit
Starting point is 00:47:03 You said some shit dumb ones for dumb ones slugs for bugs I only rode with thugs and thugs that's my motto Motherfuck I'm a bottle back in 88 I used to rock blotos Now empty more bottles Dog bitches in the back of a vival me and wallow Slug to a near nigga, nigga Wobble Gilly the kid there's no other By trick a finger itchy like war covers and going undercover
Starting point is 00:47:21 Like New York, nigga playing ice for the sport Taking bitches to the finance resort Spending G's at knees, swimming scraping up the knees and elbows I'm pitiful is unfucked with a bull Knickers bite my shit because they style of stocky And my sister's 16 They play more ice than hockey Rock me, nigger
Starting point is 00:47:33 I got guns that can miss you And once the bullets hit you They're tearing up all the tissue So fuck the rest of them Gilly is the bust of them And if you're testing them Then you probably get shot With the smithing all the rest of them
Starting point is 00:47:42 There ain't no question of them You know We're blessing them No ho hooh And I came in with the hook He said no question that You know I'm blessing them I came into the hook
Starting point is 00:47:48 We don't boss niggas So we do boss things Like rocking icy chains And fat ass diamond rings boss niggas Like so what I'm saying is We niggas wasn't rapping like that in Philly Because Philly is a Philly was a town where
Starting point is 00:48:02 niggas whole thing is we get money we put that shit on we getting at these broads we don't want no problem but if you get out of pocket I'm gonna pop the shit out of you that was all rap style so we so nobody was rapping on that time in the in the canes that we had we had the different catens so
Starting point is 00:48:15 our whole thing was like all right we're gonna rap but we wasn't looking at nobody like it was no competition for us because we wasn't looking at nobody in the same way because everybody had different styles this one rap wasn't based off of one thing now a lot of dudes feel as though they can't rap if they now rapping like you got a lot of dudes out here that can't rap they're intimidated because they're like
Starting point is 00:48:33 damn i can't rap and just do my regular music i got to be talking about drilling some shit i got to rap like i'm from chicago i got to rap like i'm from alana i got to wrap and it's like hold up no you can rap the way you rap it's an audience out there for you right but you got to be able to connect with your audience respect your audience and know that the audience that might be meek mills audience or oozib audience or p&b rock audience ain't your audience your audience might be somebody else and there's a bunch of people that's looking out there for you but you're not going to connect with them if you're trying to be like somebody else or worrying about somebody else. You're worrying. You never know if you
Starting point is 00:49:01 might have that special sound. You never know. The people that stick out the most of me, my DM is people that are creative and different because the niggas that rap the same is just like the way you compete. And that way is who got the most money in the video the best cars because you niggas all sound the same. So whoever like got the most drip or they flexing the most, that's
Starting point is 00:49:17 who wins that competition. But if you are the nigger that stand down, you sound a little different like you stick out. You stick out to the point for a motherfucker at least say, you hear this weird ass shit. Like, at least that, enough for somebody to be interested in you.
