Let's be honest, most HR platforms are stitched together, using several different services and softwares all at once. Of course, the problem is when there's multiple programs at use, your AI can have trouble navigating across all of them. Deals different. It's a single AI-native system for HR, IT, and payroll built from the ground up. That's why AI inside deal can actually run real work, onboarding, compliance, payroll, approvals, all under your rules. Whether you're five people or 50,000, deal scales with you.

Starting point is 00:02:06 ahead of R.F7. Been here for a couple of days. And I didn't think I'd be on this week's program, but it all worked out. We had to shift some schedules around. And now I'm here, and I'm very excited about this. And here to join me and answer your questions. And much more is Mr. No Gray area,
Starting point is 00:02:25 the hot take hit himself from M. fighting.com, the MMA fighting gambling guru himself, the one and only, Chad, miss you. Chad, how we doing,
Starting point is 00:02:33 buddy? I'm good. I, uh, I re-talked about this last week, right? And I am stupid because that's just what happens. We're like,
Starting point is 00:02:42 oh, that happened last week. I can't remember it. We're like, oh, yeah, obviously I'm going to be an RIF. So I'm glad you could do this because I forgot that maybe I was supposed to be in charge of BTL this week
Starting point is 00:02:53 until you were like, oh, I can do it. Terrific. And now I'm like just realized this morning that I will actually be in charge of the rest of our stuff this week. So I'm dumb is the short answer of this. So let's have some fun for the last time that I will not be busy while we're doing a show. Yes.
Starting point is 00:03:13 Because producing and hosting is hard. You make it look so easy. Well, thank you for that. I have a question for you because on the big white board there. Ask me about the greatest bet of 2026. and there's no doubt that people are seeing that as well, and they want to know about said greatest bet of 2026. Care to elaborate on this bet
Starting point is 00:03:35 because I am about as intrigued about this as anything else in this space currently. I'm so excited that I wanted to talk about it on this show. It is, we talked about this on No Bet's Bart, which will be coming out later today. It's in the can. I just got to put some bells and whistles on the production side and then get it up. So make sure you go check that out,
Starting point is 00:03:55 later. It's me and Billy Ward from Action Network this week. But as I was looking at this card, my, you know, Seattle's on Saturday, RFs on Saturday, PFLs, we got a lot going on this weekend. I was not that excited about the Seattle card, right? Like, I was like, ah, this kind of looks like, I'm just going to pull it up right now because my initial, like, quick reaction was this card is kind of booty. And then I started dive in and I was like, actually, there's some, there's some moments here, right? This main card's okay. You know, there's some fillers, certainly. But I got much more excited. I mean, basically, that's the point of gambling. The more you think about betting, the more excited you get. But I got the most excited as I was looking at this because Mike, there's a
Starting point is 00:04:40 fight on Saturday. I don't know if you know this. Michael Keyes is from Seattle. Were you aware of this, Mike, that he is, he's from the Washington area. Yes, I am aware of this. Are you also aware that this is his retirement. Yes. I mean, that's big. It's very exciting. He's on a bit of a win streak as well, Mike. Three, three in a row, doing quite well, walking away at the peak of his game.
Starting point is 00:05:04 You know, very solid career, Michael Keyes has had. And if we pull it up, I just want to go through some numbers very quickly. 26 fights. He'll have 27 on Saturday when he takes on Nico Price, right? He's a big betting favorite against Nico Price, as you would imagine. 19 wins, seven losses. You know, he's got got a couple of two fight of the nights, two submission of the nights, one performance of the night. We can agree, though, Mike, that Michael Kiesa, he's not going to be a Hall of Famer.
Starting point is 00:05:32 Would you agree? Probably not. Not going to be a Hall of Famer, but a rock solid career. This is a man who has done just about everything you could hope for when you aspire to be an MMA fighter. But I say just about Mike, because he hasn't. done everything. I'm not talking about win a title because that's whatever. We don't care about that. Do you know something special about Michael Kiesa in his whole career, Mike? Like I said, 19 wins, 12, 12 submissions, 17 decisions. And if you do that math, Mike, do you know what that
Starting point is 00:06:09 means Michael Kiyasa has never done in his professional mixed martial arts career? Fight to a draw. Well, he has also never done that. That's right. I think. the answer is win by KO or TKO. He has never won by TKO. Now you can go back to his tough days and he has a couple TKO finishes on tough, but those are not real fights per Las Vegas. Those are exhibitions.
Starting point is 00:06:34 And so, Mike, I think that on Saturday, he's going to beat Nico Price. Like, this is the setup for him to walk away in retirement. And I think on Saturday, he, this is going to haunt him. He's sitting here and thinking, I'm going to end my career, having never put my fist through somebody's face and made the referee pull me off of them.
Starting point is 00:06:57 Nay, nay, I say, I will finish my career with at least one TKO victory. And so, Michael Kiyasa, by TKO, KO, depending on your book, I got it at plus 1,300. Wow. And I cannot wait to root for this. I am so excited for this very silly gimmick to be like, yes, Michael Kiesa, you know you, you don't want to tap this dude out. That's boring. Nico Price gets knocked out all the time. Show the hands and let's put this guy down.
Starting point is 00:07:30 Wow. I love this. I love everything about this. This is a great bet. It's so much fun. It's going to be like I, I, this bet on its own made me very excited about Seattle. Like I just want to get to this fight. and wish and dream.
Starting point is 00:07:46 Like I am so excited. And he's probably going to tackle him and like Dars's ass and it'll be fine. But the dream like plus 1,300, oh, it'll be such a day. What if he like drops him with a big right hand like six seconds into the fight? Oh, it's over.
Starting point is 00:08:01 It's over. And then Nico Price like comes alive and then he jumps on him and submits him right after. That'd be heartbreaker. I'm going to be furious. Like just in my head, if I'm like, just tackle him, get to him out and punch him until he's over.
Starting point is 00:08:15 Like punch him until it's done. Put one TKO victory on your professional resume, walk into the sunset, 20 wins. That's how you do it, bud. Love that. This is just excellent booking right here. Carlson Harris was like,
Starting point is 00:08:29 eh, it was fine, but didn't love it. When they showed the graphic during UFC London that this was the fight, I was like, this is chef's kiss. This is exactly what they should be doing right now.
Starting point is 00:08:40 Who was he originally supposed to book? Carlson Harris. Carlson Harris. Okay. Yeah. No, this is much better booking. This is this is Nico Price's role. There's a guy it's about to end his career. You throw him in there at Nico because Nico will be it. We'll try his, try his best, but ultimately will be a terrific nail. So yeah, it's going to be great. Also, Nico Price has been knocked out like nine times. So plus 1,300 is just a real big number. It is a real big number. So all right, let's get into it. Let's get to your questions. Busy weekend. UFC Seattle. We got R. here in Florida, just, I'm here just outside of Tampa, and then we got PFL Pittsburgh that said,
Starting point is 00:09:18 you know what? We want to play too. And don't know how great of an idea that was. That's a choice that they made. Yeah. Not as good as of a choice as PFL Chicago taking place the same night as UFC 327. So I don't understand that decision either,
Starting point is 00:09:34 but here we go. Who knows, Mike? Who knows what they're doing? Joseph, will Mozart be screwed over for a, title shot. John Silva did an interview with Ariel. He is so desperate for a title shot versus Volk. He challenged Volk to a loser leaves UFC fight. I'm going to tell you, Jed, while we spoke on the post-fight show about John Silva, like handing Hunter Campbell a contract was brilliant. Everything
Starting point is 00:10:00 he has done since then has been terrible. It's been awful. As a matter of fact, I am fully on board that I will say it's 100% that Mozar of Loyap will get a title shot over John Silva. I didn't think so. I wasn't 100% sure on Saturday. I wanted to put out positive vibes for the UFC doing the right meritocratic thing. I think John Silva has zero chance of fighting for the belt right now. Unless Folk says I'm fighting in August and they call him Lovzar saying, all right,
Starting point is 00:10:31 you're fighting August 18th for the title and he says, no, I can't. Other than that, John Silva is no chance now. Do you agree with this? Yeah, I mean, I am very pleased. with basically how the community sort of responded to mob saw, right? Like, there are always people out there who are going to be negative Nellys. And that's okay. Like, I'm not even here to shit on them, you know, but like mostly, it felt like the majority of people,
Starting point is 00:10:58 even after like a, we can call it a controversial win, right? Like on rewatch, I'm very comfortable with him winning. I still scored it a draw, but I was like kind of okay with him winning in the moment. after rewatch, I have zero issues with him winning. I still think draw might be the best outcome, but it's totally fine. And so, like, we can say that that's not, like, the cleanest victory.
Starting point is 00:11:24 And some people took that and ran with it. But mostly, even after that, everyone sort of adopted the Lerone Murphy. Like, hey, man, at this point, what are we doing? He's won 10 fights in the UFC. Like, he's beaten, like, four other top-ranked dudes. Let's just give him his day. And maybe Volk beats him and this isn't interesting, but he has done what, like, there has to be reason here.
Starting point is 00:11:48 And immediately after it felt like Dana was hedging his bets, you know, because he kind of always hedges his bets anyway. Like, we don't know. We'll talk to them Tuesday. The momentum feels firmly on Mobsar's side right now, as it should be. And I am way more confident than I would have imagined I'd be that Mobsar's getting the next title fight, uh, heading into London. I was pretty negative about his opportunities heading into London.
Starting point is 00:12:15 And, you know, I think it's just like, Lorone put him over. Volk is out here being like, dude, it's ridiculous if I don't fight him, which is true. So full on credit to Volcanovsky. And I think that barring injury, he is going to get his day in court. And that is good. Like, that is a good thing for the sport. It is a good thing for the sport. And it's,
Starting point is 00:12:40 It's super weird. And there's just no vibes towards John Silva now. I think the interview kind of like made it worse. And on top of that like, yeah, Volkovsky just putting Mozart over in such a big way on his own YouTube channel. Like I know he laid out the red carpet before, but Volk was always like, yeah, but you know, whatever the UFC wants. But this guy should get it. Now it's just like, yeah, this guy absolutely should get it. If you give it to somebody else, like it's literally the silliest thing you could possibly do.
Starting point is 00:13:06 So there's no momentum of John Silva right now. I think Bobzar absolutely gets it. And if you're John Silva and you're like title shot or bust, you better hope Bobzar got injured on that UFC London and can't turn around in the summer. Otherwise, you're going to be watching that fight and probably fighting somebody else. Yeah. I get it from John Silva because I think he's trying too hard at this point. And I think he's trying too hard because he sees it falling apart. And, you know, so I understand it, but I don't think it's going to work for him at this state.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Yeah. Masters, Mike and Jed, where do you think this leaves Alexa Grasso with a loss on Saturday? Also, give a look back of memories and favorite fights on Kiesa's career with it being his retirement fight. Let's talk about Alexa Grasso. Facing Macy Barber. Yeah, facing Macy Barber. Two-fight losing streak. Rematch.
Starting point is 00:14:01 It is a rematch, which Alexa Grasso won. U.S. 258 five years ago, February 2021. That was the last time Barbara lost. That was the last time Barbara. Loss. And if you go back and watch that fight, it is one of the weirdest fights ever because this is the first fight back for Macy Barber
Starting point is 00:14:17 after the Roxanne Montefari fight where she blew out all of the CLs. And she literally spent the first two rounds shadow boxing, which is real funny because I talked to Macy about this. You can check out our conversation on the YouTube channel. And she's like, yeah, I wouldn't rewatch that first fight. Like literally I'm shadow boxing for two rounds. Like my team told me, shadow box.
Starting point is 00:14:40 this in the fight. That's real weird. Yeah. And if you watch that fight, like, that's literally what she does. And Alexa Grasso just kind of tunes her up and almost submits her. And then round three, Macy decides, I'm not going to shadow box anymore and, like, really put it to Alexa Grasso. And it was just sort of too little too late. So how do you view this fight right now? Do you, is this one of those fights where you feel like the community might be counting Alexa out because she's lost two in a row in pretty dominant fashion,
Starting point is 00:15:07 one to the champion Valentina Shvchenko, one to Natty Ice, who has just been kind of doing that to everybody. And it didn't seem like Grasso was really all there that fight. But speaking to Alexa Grasso the other day, very reflective, she seems in a really good place mentally, much different that she was heading into that, the Natty Ice fight. How do you view this matchup and the stakes for Alexa Grasso? The stakes are pretty substantial because three-fight losing streaks are just bad,
Starting point is 00:15:36 no matter who you are. former champion or not. This seems like it's a tough line for her. I don't know what to make of her because on the one hand, you can say, all right, she lost a Val. You know, she fought Val three times. So you spend that much time fighting, in my opinion, the greatest female fighter of all time.
Starting point is 00:15:58 You're probably going to lose one. So like, okay, she lost a Val. She like both should have and shouldn't have lost the second fight to Val too. That's like, it's a real Schrodinger's fist fight situation there, which is, that fight is one of those. I think we're going to be doomed to forget, but it's weird as shit. And then, you know, Natalia Silva is Natalia Silva. You can't like really not. Also, that's like pretty bad stylistic matchup for her.
Starting point is 00:16:27 But she just has looked disinterested in the last couple of fights in a way that didn't feel like she was before. I got it just like she's not all the way there and against you know like she barely scraped by a barber who was coming off a knee injury and not particularly good five years ago barbara's gotten a lot better barber can wrestle grasso has been having some issues with that particular skill set like it's odd for macy barber to be a betting favorite when she lost the first one but then when you look at it you're like actually that totally makes sense and that puts grasso in a really weird situation where her back is against the wall because the loss won't ruin her career. She is still and will forever be a former champion, right? That she gets to hang that banner forever and that gets you extra help in matchmaking sometimes and sort of longevity of your career. But if the UFC looks and I was like, man, you've lost three in a row. Maybe you are just the person we're going to try to build new people off of because they
Starting point is 00:17:32 kind of did that with the Talia Silva to some extent. And now they're definitely doing that with. with Macy Barber. And so it's who's the next up-and-comer, you know? Does she get Judeas, you know, does Krispy Carly just put it on her in next year or so? Like that's, that's sort of what's on offer if she loses this fight. That's probably the realm she gets put into. And that's very, very tough for somebody who was, you know, one of the faces of Mexican
Starting point is 00:18:00 MMA and a champion to now be like, this is a little bit make or break. It's not all the way, but it's a little bit. Yeah, I think her any aspirations to fight for a belt again are kind of on the line here. She goes out and loses again, like those days are over. And her approach to this fight is very interesting and very, I really enjoyed the conversation with her. This is, you know, very reflective version of Alexa Grasso and sort of appreciating it and sort of admitting that being a champion sort of burnt her out a little bit. and once she lost that feeling, it burnt her out trying to get it back.
Starting point is 00:18:37 There were all these different emotions that she's gone through over the last couple of years, and now she feels like she could just fight a little more free. She doesn't feel a lot of pressure here. And, you know, I really enjoy that. I'm looking forward to this fight. I think it's going to be a heater. Like, I think they're just going to go in there
Starting point is 00:18:51 and beat the shit out of each other. And I think it's be a very fun fight. So we'll see what happens. I hope you're right. Yeah. Speaking of stakes, Matt asks if Izzy loses, which you want to see him retire or go up to 205.
Starting point is 00:19:04 Of course, that is the made of bed of UFC Seattle. Israel Adisonia taking on Joe Pfefer, who very interesting ways of looking at this fight. Joe Pfeer saying that Israel is not to the other side of that first question, by the way, which was our favorite Kiyasa moments. Oh, okay. I'll just very briefly. Yeah, we did, but very briefly like, I think Benile Darius is his best win and that age really well and is sort of the best of Michael Kiyasa. So that's the first one I think of for Michael Keyes has been no der Eush.
Starting point is 00:19:36 The poopie pants fight. I mean, or that. I mean, that's, yeah, I mean, that's, that was like the big thing that came out of that. I was like, I need to do this quick because I really had to go to the bathroom. So great win for Michael Keesea there. And to do it against Betty D was, was a big deal. The poopie pants. The poopie pants fight, yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Well, the almost poopie pants fight. So yes, what a win for Michael Keesa there. He won in multiple fronts that night, so good autumn. It's so silly, and it made me laugh so. Oh, yes, that one, the booby-bit bitch. I mean, the most iconic Kiesa moment has to be the press conference with Kevin Lee. Like, without question, that is the first moment that pops into everybody's minds. Like, it just has to.
Starting point is 00:20:26 Him just going up, Kevin Lee started talking about his mom, and he just lost it. and respect to Michael Kiesa for that. And he, of course, went on to lose that fight to Kevin Lee. He won the press conference that day. And for that, what a moment. But perhaps we haven't seen the best Michael Kiesa moment because I feel like we're going to see it on Saturday. Maybe. The retirement goes out with a win and hopefully replacing Michael Bisbing moving forward in the color commentary spot.
Starting point is 00:20:56 But you can only wish and hope. Oh, let's go to the Izzy. question. I forgot. Now we can do the easy question. If Izzy loses, where does he go? He's in a real tough spot if he loses this fight to Joe Piper. He should not lose this fight to Joe Piper. He could lose it, but it'd be very, very bad. He loses this fight to Joe Piper. I don't know where you go from here. I truly don't. Not saying Joe's a bad fighter, but Joe is not like one of the 10 best middleweights in the world. So this would be the worst loss of his career by far. Again, no disrespect to Joe.
Starting point is 00:21:31 We're just calling it like we see it. You go out and lose this one, man. You lose to Sean Strickland. Okay. Age is okay. He's about to fight for the belt again. You go out and lose to Drickus Duplice. Aged very well.
Starting point is 00:21:45 Nasdaenimovath. Aged very well. You go out and lose to Joe Pfeer? Oh, boy. You are in some trouble. So we're, what's at stake for Israel to Saudi? If you lose this fight, what happens? If you lose, I hope you're retires.
Starting point is 00:21:59 because if he loses, it will be because he got knocked out. Joe Piper is going to outbox Izzy for, you know, 15 of the 25 minutes or whatever or score enough takedowns and kind of control that fight. Like if he loses, it will be because Joe Piper through one of the three punches, he knows how to throw, it landed and it sparked Izzy. And if that happens, I would like Izzy to leave, you know? Like that will be two back-to-back knockouts, sort of three. because he got tapped by DDP
Starting point is 00:22:31 but he got hurt before he got tapped that will be a million lot like four of five or five of six losses for him I believe Mike I'm not 100% certain because also like kickboxing records can be tough to validate I think this is close to if not is he like
Starting point is 00:22:53 Izzy's a hundred and 16th professional fight which would not count the Jim wars, the training, that is so many fights. It's just so many fights. And if he gets knocked out a bunch and with that much mileage on it, I think that's pretty clear. Like, hey, man, you had a great career. You're no doubt about it.
Starting point is 00:23:18 Hall of Fame. You're one of the best fighters of this generation. Walk away. And then maybe, you know, when you walk away, you can do the Anderson Silva. all right, I'll retire. Maybe I can box Jake Paul or whatever. Like that might still have some traction to it. But if he gets,
Starting point is 00:23:36 if he lose to Joe Pfefer, it's because he got knocked out. And if he gets knocked out by Joe Pfeiffer, he needs to not fight in the UFC again. Yeah, this is, this is not a good loss for him. It just isn't. So I guess he should comfortably win.
Starting point is 00:23:50 But like you said, if he might get caught with something early and get, get folded. And it's just so weird, like going back and watch, rewatching the DDP fight like is he looks so good like I don't think he would have even if DDP didn't finish him I don't think he was beating DDP but he looked really good like it looked way better than he did in the Sean Strickland fight way better he looked good against him ofov until he got got like he just it's and that's a thing that happens when you're real old in fight years
Starting point is 00:24:20 not maybe in life but in like fight years is it's it's hard to stay dot like all the way geared up for the for the full balance of the fight years. And so, like, I don't think, I think most people alive would acknowledge, not all, but most would be like, if this was prime versus prime, Joe Piper has zero chance to win this fight. The fact that he has a chance is because he's so faded. And if he converts on that chance, just just, just leave, man. Just leave. Do something else. Yeah, I agree with you.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Why? What do you think the chances are of both the Dennis and Armin matches at R. of 7 actually ending without chaos. So those are the two big matches, the main and co-main, the highly anticipated rematch of Brawlgate, Armin Sarukin versus Georgia O'Pula, Sirrukin gets the win at RAF6 and then punches were thrown and it was absolute chaos. And then the co-mate event is Colby Covington versus Dylan Danis,
Starting point is 00:25:18 which could also be a little weird because you would think on paper Colby should go out in Tech Fall, Dylan Danis, pretty quickly. but perhaps Dylan might slap on a gilly or do some sort of submission or do some weirdness. So what do you think of the chances that neither of that both of these matches happen, but no chaos and without incident? Well, zero percent because Colby Chaos Covington is in the Coimane. So obviously there will at least be a little bit of chaos. I also think that if we're, you know, puns aside,
Starting point is 00:25:54 Yeah, I think it's overwhelmingly likely that something stupid is going to happen. The Co-main would just be likely anyway. You've got two personalities where something like that is very possible. Also, Colby's going to run over Dylan in like a wrestling match. So Dylan's definitely going to like try and guillotine him. Like that's almost certainly a thing that will happen. I don't really know why Dylan Dennis agreed to this quite frankly. he's going to get tech fault or DQed.
Starting point is 00:26:27 Those are the only two outcomes for DL Dennis here. The main event, I think, is even more guaranteed to have Tom Fuller in it. Because look what happened the first time. Like a bunch of nonsense happened and nobody got punished. They all got rewarded by, we're going to do it again and pay you again. So like what is the incentive structure for either Armin or pull us to be like normal adult competitors? The incentive structure here is that they don't behave like gentlemen and they get into a fight and somebody hits somebody. So I think it's incredibly likely that one or both of these are going to end with something very, very stupid happening.

Starting point is 00:28:00 Support for the show comes from OnePassword. A password manager should be the first security purchase you make for your team. Why? Because compromised passwords are the number one way bad actors attack companies, and small businesses are their favorite targets. But unlike a lot of security challenges, passwords actually have a pretty simple solution. One password lets you manage all your business credentials

I mean, I think I'll, you know, being there at the presser tomorrow, I think I'll have a little bit more of a read on it. I don't see how Armin and Georgia doesn't end up in something. Yeah. I don't think it'll be 40 people on the mats fighting this time, but I do think there'll be some sort of Tom.
Starting point is 00:28:55 foolery and chaos and depending on the match goes. So yeah, things will be real interesting tomorrow. I have no read on Dennis and Colby at this point. It's just, I don't know. From what I understand, Dylan Dennis is in Florida.
Starting point is 00:29:09 So that's a good thing. A lot of people were wondering. Good start. Dylan is there. He has landed. He is on the ground in Tampa. So that's a good thing. He should be at the press conference tomorrow.
Starting point is 00:29:21 And yeah, chaos shall ensue. at the old yingling center in beautiful Tampa, Florida. So let's see what else we have here. I got to tell you, that R.AF card has a lot of quite good names on it. It's the best, it's the best card of the weekend.
Starting point is 00:29:42 Like in caught, it's a lot of really, I mean, just a whole bunch of Olympic champions on this one. Yeah. It is by far the best overall lineup of the three events. I mean, Dylan Dennis is,
Starting point is 00:29:55 like astonishingly I think the worst wrestler of the of the bunch like so but everybody else is like at the minimum like an NCAA champion pretty good pretty pretty good that's a great question alexia tynara's walkout over under two minutes she do long walkouts this is not something i think of or i'm clued in on yeah i mean i think i would take the over on number with pretty much anybody. I mean, two minutes is not a, is a really fast walkout to be under that. Yeah. So I'll say over.
Starting point is 00:30:38 Does Alexia 10-Hen-R do like long walkouts? I have not. I think so. Walkouts are not something I am super keyed in on. I'm rarely paying attention during the walkouts of a fight card and doing something else almost always. Yeah. She's also like put in spots where she's, they don't film her walkouts.
Starting point is 00:30:54 I don't always know how long it is. but from what I understand there, I think a little bit, she surveys. Talk about a fight that shouldn't exist. Mike, do you know the path we took to get to this fight?
Starting point is 00:31:05 Because it's awesome. Elaborate. Remind me. So, Lexia, neither of these women, neither Alexia Tinar nor Bruna Brazil were supposed to, were scheduled to be on this card originally.
Starting point is 00:31:16 The original fight was Nicole Kaliari versus Carol Foro. I'm, Foro, I think making your UCDU. Then, Caliari pulls out and is replaced by Stephanie Luciano and then Lus Foro pulls out and is replaced by
Starting point is 00:31:35 Tainara and then Luciano pulls out and is replaced by Bruno Brazil. So technically, Alexia Tainari is a proxy for Carol Foto and Bruno Brazil is a proxy for Nicole Calliari and both fights would probably be lined similarly. Tynar is going to kill Bruno Brazil. Yes, it is a rematch as well. Kaliari is now booked to fight Shauna Bannon not long
Starting point is 00:32:01 later. So yeah, what a wild ride to get to this point. I love it when you have the double proxy fights. We're just like, wasn't at all the plan, but here we are. Lazy bad. Do you think it's harder for a fighter to be relatively young in life years, but old in fight years, or to be getting
Starting point is 00:32:19 up there at actual age, but still have borne the tank? I mean, harder is a relative word, and it depends what you mean by that. I think for most fighters, it is more difficult to be young and old, right? Like to be Brandon Moreno, who is not an old person, but is shop one because of, as just many, many fights. And because like, think about how mentally weird that would be, right? You're like, I'm not that you like, we think about this all the time just in life. Like I'm like, man, realistically, I'm not that old.
Starting point is 00:32:59 But like life is a little bit harder now than it used to be. And everybody has those feelings. But like, it would be very different if I was younger and like, man, I should be better than this. Why am I not better than this? And it's just because your body has has reached its maximum capacity. So like as far as like mentally your ability to navigate that, I think it would be harder to be young and worn than it would be. Because if you're like old, but still good, like, then you just, you just feel like,
Starting point is 00:33:33 you feel like Volk, right? Like right now is like, man, I'm definitely old, but I'm still good enough to beat these young whippersnappers. And that's like a, that's a way more fun feeling. I agree. I agree. So that's a very interesting question, though. Another one from Lee's a bad bike, when you were riding in the golf cart with
Starting point is 00:33:52 Colby and you guys saw the alligator. Did you think of shoving him out of the cart in front of it? I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Is this a, this lazy know this, how does lazy know this happened? Uh,
Starting point is 00:34:03 because we just posted a clip of, oh, I didn't see this clip. Okay. Uh, we just, we just dropped it because, obviously this swing rounds episode three is officially in the can.
Starting point is 00:34:15 It was Colby Covington and I, uh, playing nine hole scramble. Uh, shout out to Crescent Oaks just outside of Tampa. for making it happen and being so accommodating. But obviously, I want to find this clip. Yeah, it's on, it's on all of our socials.
Starting point is 00:34:32 So you can check it out. But we, we talk about RAF7 for like two minutes because by the time we edit up swing rounds, like RF7 will be over and done with. It'd probably be like over for like a week or two by the time this thing air. So we wanted to get something out and at least talk about it. So there's a clip of us talking about the matchable. with Danes and all that. And we just so happened as I hit record on the phone cam.
Starting point is 00:34:58 We were driving. And the second we got to the cart path off the T-box, there was a gator like six inches from us. Like it wasn't like across the pond. It was like right next to us. If that gator was pissed off that we're encroaching on its territory, it could have easily jumped up and started some shit. And I was like,
Starting point is 00:35:15 ooh, that was pretty wild moment. So no, I did not think of that because, yeah, I did not think of that because, because then who am I going to do swing rounds with for the next eight and a half holes? Yeah, I mean, if you play golf at all in South Florida,
Starting point is 00:35:31 or Florida anywhere or South Georgia, I've seen a lot of gators on courses. Oh, yeah. That is not a particularly unique experience. But it was just, it was the thing that was different, though, it was literally, I could have reached over and touched it.
Starting point is 00:35:49 That's how close we were to it. And I don't think I've ever been. that close to a gator i have one time uh taken a we called it a gallery drop because my ball was pretty near one not like like theoretically it could have gone and hit but you're just like what's the there's just i risk yeah like there's just no need so you just go all right well the gator has the ball oh yeah uh seen a lot of snakes too um out on the courses which is fun yeah i will say i without giving too much, too much away. That's why lazy gator quake.
Starting point is 00:36:25 Never forget. We need a gator quake emo. Oh, my God. What are we doing? Putting that on the list. Gator quake emo, let's go. Absolutely. I will say, um,
Starting point is 00:36:36 even Jose, even Jose who was out filming this was like, man, Colby was really good. This, and like when I say that, uh, one,
Starting point is 00:36:46 his golf game is much better than I thought it was going to be. Oh, especially for a guy who, at least if I am to believe what, he says doesn't play very often. He was very stripy. He was very stripy yesterday. So it was good for the scramble team.
Starting point is 00:36:59 But what I say like Colby was really good. I don't mean like he was in full character going bananas. There was really no Colby character yesterday. It was really good. And this was like when I booked this, this is what I had hoped for. Now are there moments of Colby kind of getting into it and not saying. saying like bad things, but like kind of getting into character and, and kind of playing some of the greatest hits, I would say a couple of times, but for the most part, like a really,
Starting point is 00:37:32 like, just like a normal dude, like on the golf course playing golf, but like answering questions in a like really reflective kind of way. I think you guys are going to dig it. I really do. I think this is, this is not that. It's not that Colby in this video, but still a very honest and reflective Cole beyond different things. So I think you guys are going to dig it. And we'll probably start working on that early next week. And the goal would probably
Starting point is 00:38:02 If I had my druthers, I would push it out sometime next week. I'll be shocked if that happens. But probably maybe the week after UFC 327, we could get it out. I don't know, man. We should get it out next week. It'd be very fun.
Starting point is 00:38:18 Fucking nothing else next week. Look, We are going back to the worst. The worst of the year. Frankly, we should put it out next week. Yeah. It's, I got to put all the tracters on and everything.
Starting point is 00:38:31 But as about like, this could, this could lead to another match down the road. Not like involving Colby, but also two other people. Things are in the works. Is it already? I bet Delandanis sucks at golf.
Starting point is 00:38:48 Yeah, it's not Dylan Dennis. Um, but the is it Bo Nickel Colby's no, no, no, God, that'd be incredible. Now, this is a preliminary talks are are underway for, for something pretty funny and cool. So stay tuned for that, uh, over the next several weeks working on it. Uh, interest is on is happening. This is what I think swing around should eventually evolve into. You got to build the product first, right? Yes. I think because you got to get, you got to get the buy in. I think eventually you should. get swing rounds to where you can have, uh, you and Colby in a cart and, and I was going to say me and Bo Nickel in another cart, but maybe I'd rather be in a car with Colby. How about Michael Chandler?
Starting point is 00:39:34 You and Michael Chandler in a cart and me and. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, a cart. Oh, okay. And had a 2B2 scramble and just electric television is what I'm saying. Okay. Listen, this. I'm saying that's that neat. That's the end point.
Starting point is 00:39:52 We're not there. We're not close to there. But that's, that should be the long-term goal. Yes. If, trust me, if I could just do swing rounds
Starting point is 00:40:00 for the rest of my time at M.A. fighting and just do different cool shit. It would be, it would be awesome. Like literally, I would be the happiest person in the world. It's very,
Starting point is 00:40:11 very fun. Bring Jetta. We could challenge two fighters. Like all the things that I would want to do with this. The sky is the limit. So, if you guys have, ever saw me play golf, you would be shocked at how much of a psychopath I am.
Starting point is 00:40:24 I've seen it. Jet is a bit of a psychopath. Just a crazy person. Yes. Lazy bed. One championship announced the closure of their straw weight MMA division. Do you foresee the rest of their MMA weight classes going in the same direction? It's been going in this direction for like five years now.
Starting point is 00:40:40 I don't know how they're a company. Like, I don't know how they're putting on fights right now. They apparently do quite well. I mean, from a business standpoint, there's a lot of curiosities there. Some of the numbers that they say don't seem right. But like structurally, some of the stuff that they have done makes sense to me. Like they've scaled down and they hold a lot of shows like Lumpini,
Starting point is 00:41:02 which is not like it's pretty cost effective. Also like moitized just get paid like peanuts in general. So like that's the thing. One is just not an MMA promotion. they were always in everything promotion, but like they're really a moitai and kickboxing promotion at this point, which is fine. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:41:23 And they're quite good at that. But yeah, I think that like you said, Mike, this has been happening. So this is maybe like the biggest single like, ah, get out of your thing.
Starting point is 00:41:34 And that sucks because again, fewer places for people to fight is always worse for fighters. But this is, yeah, this is just happening. Yeah. It's a done deal. Duke bad duck Tony Ferguson versus Eddie Alvarez on Netflix would have been fun so yes I'm glad this came up big news of the week I would say based on
Starting point is 00:41:56 Was that a discussion that should have done they should have done that yeah The chef I should have done that but here is the finalized lineup we have or at least the additional fights to the triple main event of course it's ronda rousy jena corano Nate Diaz versus bike Perry france sagano versus philippe lins new fights that were officially announced on Tuesday, Judy Dos Santos versus rebellious to Spain, Muhammad Mikhailia versus Adriana Marias, Saladin Pardas versus Kenneth Cross, Lorenz Larkin versus Jason Jackson,
Starting point is 00:42:30 Eileen Perrera versus Jod Besad Wong, David Magoyan versus Albert Morales, Namo Fiziel versus Jake Babian, Chris Avila versus the most dangerous opponent of all, Mr. TBD. So Jed, Tony Ferguson versus Eddie Alvarez would have fit very well on this card. It would have been a great addition. But looking at the finalized card, your reaction, your grades, did they do a good job of this?
Starting point is 00:42:58 This is better than you thought it would be worse? What do you say? Too many fights. It's a good card. There are 11 fights. I get it. Chris Avila has to be on it because Nate Diaz is on it. And Chris Avila's entire career is fighting.
Starting point is 00:43:15 when Nate Diaz fights. Good for him. Good gig if you can get it, I suppose. You know, getting Aline Pereira's not a bad idea. I can't speak super knowledgeablely about the David McGuoy and Albert Morales or the name of Fasel Jake Babian fights. And so my inclination is why are this happening, right? Like, I think this should have been tighter. But, I mean, broad broadly speaking, is a very, very good fight card when you consider what,
Starting point is 00:43:49 what this is, right? Like, the UFC has most of the top town under contract. Some others are in PFL. Like, they have done a pretty good job
Starting point is 00:43:59 of piecing together, something that, like, outside of the spectacle of it, I would just kind of want to tune in as a hardcore fan to Saudi Parnas. You know,
Starting point is 00:44:09 like that's awesome. The Mahia fight, I'm a little surprised about, but is good. like I'm pleasantly surprised about. So great fight card, well done MVP. I would shave a couple off it to make this a tighter product. But, you know, I'm sure they have business incentives or whatever.
Starting point is 00:44:28 So all in all, a very, very solid A from them. Yeah. 11 fights, yeah. But still, like, if every UFC car was 11 fights, like, I think we'd be pretty happy with that. So as long as it was like 10, just 10, 10. 10 is always the number. Just 10 is always the number. 10 or fewer would be better.
Starting point is 00:44:49 You know, you can start nitpicking. I think the Eddie Tony fight would be awesome, but they can do that later. I mean, because it's not here, doesn't preclude it from being on the future. That fight kind of makes a ton of sense, frankly, which, again, another matchup I hadn't even considered,
Starting point is 00:45:04 so good on them. I still, I just don't understand what has happened, like how Gable's not on this or on the White House card. I don't get it. Hey, I don't know what people are doing.
Starting point is 00:45:18 White House still on the table. I'm not ruling that out yet. I mean, I guess it is, but I don't know what his people are doing. Him not being on either one of those is career malpractice. Like, it is ludicrously bad from whoever's managing him.
Starting point is 00:45:31 And I will tell you that directly to your face, whoever it is, if you don't get him on one of these two events. Yeah, I think he'll fight at the White House. I'm still, I'm still a holy God hope. I know he's,
Starting point is 00:45:42 I don't know. He's an RIF now, man. Like he's a busy man. Yeah, he's going to go melt a dude in 30 seconds at R. F and then he'll turn around and they're building to the steveson, Wyatt Hendrickson rematch at R.E.F. 10. Yes. Wyatt, who will be, uh,
Starting point is 00:45:59 Wyatt is competing on Saturday. So something to discuss with him tomorrow at the press conference. So yeah, that was big news. It's in Dallas. We'll see who they put him up against. Throw them in there with like, if they can get like a, Andre Olofsky, there you go.
Starting point is 00:46:15 Now you can get your Andrei Olovsky fight, Jed. I mean, Andrei Olovsky, sure. Sure. And he's busy being the BKFC champion of the world, Mike. Yeah, but Andre has fought for like every promotion since. So why not? One of the, one of the all-time great prize fighters.
Starting point is 00:46:35 Yeah. Masters, Mike and Jed, just a quick question. But do you know if the Arnold Allen cost a fight clashes with the MVP card, time-wise. I've never been able to see a confirmation of that. I mean, almost certainly well. Yeah, no one's going, and it's unfortunate because unless you have like two television sets or a hardcore MMA fan, no one's watching that Apex card.
Starting point is 00:46:57 It's a throwaway card. Yes. But a great main event. That is a contractual obligation. Much like next weekend's Apex, it is a contractual obligation card. Couldn't we like transfer these? Couldn't we do Allen Costa next week? and then do Moikano Duncan on May 16th.
Starting point is 00:47:15 That would be way better. Yeah, boy, that card is rough. Way better. Next week's card is real bad. Is real bad? It's real bad. Gatorquake 2 on the links. But we got something here.
Starting point is 00:47:32 Gatorquake. We got to put this in production somehow. I'm, look, I had forgotten about it until I think Lazy was one who first commented it back. what an idea Gator Quake was God, that was a great episode What was, we had one that was Orcas and I guess tsunami or an avalanche
Starting point is 00:47:56 I don't know what it was But that was a really good one too Wait, what? How did I miss this? Is that real? It is real I'm sorry, what the Well, it's a report
Starting point is 00:48:09 Uh, Eddie Hall versus Tommy Fury in a misfits main event. Talk Sport reports that Eddie Hall is set to face Tommy Fury this summer. The Bowell headline a misfits boxing pay-per-view at the AO Arena in Manchester, England. Wow. Talk Sport. So is this, is this Gareth A. Davies reporting this? He's the one who did it.
Starting point is 00:48:32 I have no idea. But, dude. I mean, pretty wild. A plus work. You know, we were supposed to be having Dylan Danes versus Eddie Hall or Eddie Hall versus Francis. Ghanu, but yeah, like, way to go Tommy Fury. I love that Tommy Fury correctly identified that he didn't have real boxing aspirations and was like, I'm just going to, I'm famous enough to be an influencer and I can
Starting point is 00:49:02 make a lot more money doing this than losing as like Tyson Fury's little brother in real boxing. So, uh, well, that is the sort of freak show fight that I'm oddly curious. about. So great booking, misfits continue to go. Well, until I see a poster and a date in both guys at a press conference, I do not believe it is a thing at all. I say, I'm currently seeing reports of reports a lot when I Googled it. Like everybody's working off the same talk sport report.
Starting point is 00:49:33 So I don't know if that's real or not. And while I like Garrett-A Davies, he has gotten a lot of stuff wrong if he's the one in his report. This is by George Glinski. Okay. All right. the senior boxing and MMA reporter for them.
Starting point is 00:49:48 Okay. Well, to check out misfits like Instagram and stuff to see what the truth. This is what misfits should be. They're doing misfits pro and I don't understand
Starting point is 00:49:56 why they're doing that. It makes no sense to me. This is what you are, misfits. Embrace it. Be that. Be all you can be in the circus fight world. Like this is,
Starting point is 00:50:06 this is everything. Mega Mango, thoughts on Marobh Henry on RIF 08. Setup seems to hinder Marab's game, harder to push cardio edge in six minutes, no cage to consolidate grips, and he needs legit takedowns to score. Also some level of control.
Starting point is 00:50:25 It's probably not going to go very well for Marab for being honest, but who cares? He's going to make a big bag of money. My biggest issue with all of this, Jed, is they booked this event the same night as as night one of WrestleMania, which seems like a bad idea. but at the same time it won't affect it that much because if you are a freestyle wrestling fan you're probably not watching WrestleMania anyways like if you're just focused on that maybe you'll like tune into it the MMA community and like the combat sports overall community yeah I mean the card itself is like okay but when we compare it to five six seven and probably
Starting point is 00:51:09 what nine's going to be this is probably like if if you're like you're going to if you need to miss one. This is probably the one to miss, I guess. But yeah, how do you view Marab Henry in a freestyle wrestling man? I assume Henry wins because Henry is an Olympic gold medalist and Marab is not. Yes. You know, it's just, I don't know that he gets that he texts him, right? But it's this is the, the golf between Olympic gold medalist and not is quite vast. So, yeah, I don't think Marab has a great opportunity to succeed here. But it's kind of a fun one. Again, RIF does great job of matchmaking.
Starting point is 00:51:57 They are very, they know what they are and they're doing it quite well. I hope they continue. Support for this show comes from CoreWeave. Starting point is 00:52:42 Once upon a mundane morning, Barb's day got busy without warning. A realtor in need of an open house sign. No, 50 of them. And designed before nine. My head hurts. Any mighty tools to help with this plight? Aha!
Starting point is 00:52:56 Barb made her move. She opened Canva and got in the groove. Both creating Canva sheets. Create 50 signs fit for suburban streets. Done in a click, all complete. Sweet. Now, imagine what your dreams can become. When you put imagination to work at Canva.com.
Starting point is 00:53:13 Yes. Fury versus Hall. How did I miss this? I've been off for two days and deeply not invested. That rocks. Big fan of that fight. Big fan. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:53:31 How is RIF doing with viewership numbers from the Twitch? Extremely well, from what I understand, to the point where Fox Nation was like, yeah, we're not letting you go anywhere. We're going to pay you a bunch of more money to stay with us for a bunch of, a much longer time. So deep into 2027. R.A.F.
Starting point is 00:53:53 Fox Nation got 35 of my dollars because of RIF that I promise you they would not have gotten without it. So I give that as a data point. Izzy, you go talk to him like, look, that one guy paid and he would not have given you this money. So there you go. I will also say this.
Starting point is 00:54:14 I mean, there are many in the sports media business who can track this stuff and are very well established in this. It appears that PFL and Fox could be doing something at the end of this cycle, at least that's what it appears based on reports that Fox is the frontrunner. If RAF was a dud, I don't think they would be going after PFL at all, honestly. True. So they must be doing okay if they're like, oh, well, we've, we're, we're, we're, we're, we're cementing our place in the combat sports world that's bring in MMA.
Starting point is 00:54:50 But I don't, are they still PFL when they get there? Are they real American MMA? Like, what do we? Oh, don't be that. Are they re-brit? Are they Fox MMA? They're not P-A.
Starting point is 00:55:01 I don't think, if they go there, I don't think they're PFL. Yeah, well, I mean, that's John Martin already said that they're talking about a rebrand, which I don't even think is necessarily wrong. Do they go back to Bellator?
Starting point is 00:55:12 No, Bellator is one of the fucking dumbest names of all time. I genuinely believe it held them back as a promotion. Yeah. PFL is like a very nondescript name. I don't think it's great. I don't know. I don't have the answer, right?
Starting point is 00:55:27 Like I'd have to new lawn it a little more to like give them one. I personally think it would be deeply funny if they went back to World Series of fighting. But I don't think that that's like a good name necessarily. I don't know what a good name would be. Let me think about it and I'll get back to you at some point in the future. but like I think getting rid of PFL is totally there's there is baggage attached to that brand and sometimes you got to just you know they're doing basically a hard reset of their company anyway so like do the full reset you know let's let's go WorldCom on it I mean the best day for it
Starting point is 00:56:05 was the one that Sheen al-Shadi gave him when he was Bellator and one of our drafts sure time under Showtime MAA now they can't even be that Well, you can't definitely can't be Showtime Movie for a couple of years. Yeah, you can't do that. So Fox M.A. is like, I don't think that's good. It doesn't sound good to me. I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:56:31 I don't know. What do we do? Cage fighting association. World of fight. I got nothing. This is the thing. that I would need to like come up with because like you want it to be UFC just became so ubiquitous that it's like now everyone knows UFC but like
Starting point is 00:56:53 UFC is pretty stupid realistically but at the time it was like it struck record for what they want you know the ultimate fighting championship but you also can't be derivative off that now because then you just like your knockoff brand so I don't know I'll have to let me think of it and uh Somebody can tag John Martin whenever I come up with the answer and I can continue to do my best to save that promotion. Chad, this is your moment. Like this is literally your moment right now. This is where you do your best.
Starting point is 00:57:27 Yeah. This could be a clip. Like you have the opportunity to be clip farmed with something good here. If you come up with the correct name when they rebrand. So maybe they can be the new GFL. Maybe they'll be the true global fight league moving forward. Speaking of that, how can Rebellis and JadS fight if their teammates on team Miami, Jed? You know, this is the battle for Miami because now you, you know, every team has to have a one seed and a two seed, you know, like who's, who's going to be the alternate, who's going to be our real heavyweight contender.
Starting point is 00:58:06 Now we, you know, this is just some intra-team conflict to who's first chair and who is second chair, you know, now we get to find out. who's the team captain, like all these things. There's so much on the line here. Beat Rock, did you guys see that sick-ass winged sea fight? How did he become such a thing? Like,
Starting point is 00:58:25 I understand he's part of like the Street Beef's thing, but like, God, it's just everywhere you see. It's like he'll be back, like, journalist sites, like rooting for this guy.
Starting point is 00:58:35 Like, might be a cool dude. He's quite popular, apparently. No, I'm not denying that, but like, in the street beef's world,
Starting point is 00:58:44 like it makes all the sense of the world, but like it becomes just a phenomenon when this dude competes and is not very good. So I did not have a clue who this dude was. Like I'd literally never heard of him until the karate combat that we covered, you know, whatever earlier this year, January, whenever it was. Um, and I was like, oh, like, all right, this kind of a karate combat guy. He's got a real weird gimmick. He has a headband tattooed on his forehead and is like funky and kind of interesting. And then everybody was like, you don't know wing C. You're obviously a casual. I'm like, I trust me. I know more about this stupid fucking sport than like all but 12 people on the planet. It's just like that's and that's not bragging. That is a sad state of just how long I've been doing this. I had never heard of this guy. And then I looked and was like, oh, because he's not good. That's why I haven't heard of him. He's just like famous in the same in the same. In the same. where I don't know half the influencers. I'm too old to know like the weirdos in that spot of stuff because they're not good.
Starting point is 00:59:52 And so I saw that he lost. I am deeply unsurprised that he lost. He's not very good. No, he's not. He can be fun though. And like that's okay. He should be in misfits or somewhere like that. He should stay in like karate combat.
Starting point is 01:00:04 He's like not an MMA fighter. All right. We have some PFL name suggestions. The United States Fight League. That's terrible. Kumatea MMA, where they only fight in secluded forests. Kumatee is genuinely something that's better, except for honestly, that might already be a league.
Starting point is 01:00:27 It's got to be some sort of MMA company. In my mind, I feel like there's a Kumete thing that I've covered, like on tapology somewhere. What about? But like, at least if you say Kumate, a number of like dudes between the age of 18 and 40, We'll be like, ah, that's fist fighting. Yes.
Starting point is 01:00:47 Co-leader fighting championship, the CLFC. No. No. Can't do that. Smart Cage beefs. That's funny, but no. The Jedmishu invitational. Not that at all.
Starting point is 01:01:03 Half the people they have would not be invited. What else you got? Pride Force. So that scratches a nostalgia itch, but, no that doesn't mean also on fox they wouldn't take that because everybody in is that like an LGBTQ thing that's just that's just a no uh rebrand to the the ultimate fighting zone that would actually be pretty funny uh yeah i don't the fox fighting alliance the f f f a literally the best one i've seen but i still don't like that i don't
Starting point is 01:01:49 kind of feel like world intermediate fight federation take a whiff that's like that's pretty good that is pretty good the don davis fighters league when you be the w f f f and just try and like steal w w f shine people who are i i mean not all bad uh so jett is saying we should have less fun in m m m m a how the turntables it's not what i said at all i said i'm happy for him to be here he's just not good. Yeah, he's not good. Listen, it is, as we have, as we have correctly stated and said over the last several years, Jed has sort of laid out the groundwork for this.
Starting point is 01:02:36 It is very important to be a great hammer. It is also equally, if not more important at times to be a great nail. And Wing C could be that nail that any promotion could be looking for. one of my strongest beliefs is that more promotions need to have fighters who die well look at nico price would he be in this position on tanner thing he means nico prices in combat sports and this is what we got why do you think priscilla casheware is still employed by the ufc because she is excellent at being a hammer and a nail she gets and gets got real real good dude terence mckinney will fight in the for literally as long as he likes.
Starting point is 01:03:19 And that is more job security than most people have. Yeah, absolutely. Mike Gajed, favorite, Ninja Turtle, and why? We're just going all over the place here. Growing up, I was a real loser. And so I was always a Leonardo guy. And the answer is because I like the color blue. That's like, that's really, I think most of the reason kids like Ninja Turtles is you just pick the color you like.
Starting point is 01:03:45 And then maybe if you started watching the show, you'd be like, actually, Michael Angela likes pizza and tells jokes. So he's the best. As I've gotten older, Raphael is easily the best Ninja Turtle. It depends. Because like in the first two like movies that they put out in the 90s,
Starting point is 01:04:05 rap was the worst. He was just such a baby. And like the reason they got into any of these hijinks and terrible situations to begin with is because wrath was an asshole. and that's it you just those characters just don't appeal uh like others just like oh it's that little whiner raphael again but like the cartoons the newer movies rap is always really good so i haven't seen any of the last one i saw as secrets of the use i couldn't tell you a single thing about ninch turtles other than that the movie that like set rogan put together the the animation one the newest one
Starting point is 01:04:38 it's badass dude they all got like pretty good reviews and i was just like i don't have any reason to see them so i haven't kept up with ninja turtles coswell do you think the ufc would have put the interim belt up for grabs if john accepted the 15 million dollar deal to fight poiton on the white house card uh i think there's a chance they would have stripped tom if that had been thing because like john would be fighting john last was the heavy undisputed heavyweight champion and he'd be returning and tom can't fight due to injury.
Starting point is 01:05:17 So like you could, it wouldn't be the best optics, but it'd be real weird to be like, you were our undisputed champion and then you were tired, but now you're back so you can fight for an interim belt. It would be like real weird. So, um, yeah,
Starting point is 01:05:33 that whole, everything they've done with heavy weight for the last four years has been really, really silly. Yeah. All right. Take a couple more that we're going to get out of here. Uh,
Starting point is 01:05:43 lazy bid back thoughts on Paul Hughes following out of the upcoming PFF Belfast card, the event is holding on by a thread. What a disaster, man. Like, that is... I need to look at this card now. It's... If you're there, you'll probably have a great time. But, yeah, without Hughes there, man,
Starting point is 01:06:02 that's just such a bummer. They can't catch a break right now. It's top. I mean, here's the deal. This card went from being a card that broadly people might pay attention to, to this is a PFL. except for its PFL Belfast, right?
Starting point is 01:06:19 Like, still have a bunch of Irish fighters in the card. Locally, it'll do well. There are some names that maybe you know. But, like,
Starting point is 01:06:27 we don't watch PFL Manas, and we're not going to watch this because it doesn't have any real juice beyond it. Paul Hughes was the selling point. He's off. I still respect that they were going to take Paul Hughes to Belfast. One of the things I give PFL a lot of credit for. They are going to the right locations with the guys they have.
Starting point is 01:06:45 the UFC doesn't do that because they go where the money is. But this is very, very tough to lose the reason you're there and they lost them. Yeah, they were supposed to do this fight in Boston. That was the original plan. They were going to bring Paul Hughes to Boston, which also not a bad shout. Boston, very Irish heavy. And extremely Irish. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:08 I mean, they brought Connor McGregor there multiple times. There's a reason for that. But then they were doing it on like a Thursday. And they're like, no. Like, we got nothing available for you on Thursday. So, yeah. Plus, like, try to sell tickets to an event in Boston on Thursday night is not easy to do. So I respect the decision to move it to Belfast, but now poof.
Starting point is 01:07:34 Yowser. Like, what if we go, like, European soccer style, right? So, like, instead of trying to do some form of WMBA, like NBA, NHL, like three letters. What if we go like something like Premier League or Syria or like we just rebrand PFL to like
Starting point is 01:07:57 the league or something very stupid like that. Maybe maybe that's the way we go. The fights, you know, just something simple and get away from the three letters. The fights. But not Bellator because that's stupid. But even like,
Starting point is 01:08:15 Like we have fights is three letters or can't do we have fight. Yeah. No, just like fight league. Yeah. Just fight league. Fighting here. FH. Fights inside.
Starting point is 01:08:29 Like how do you make this incredibly obvious? Cage fights. Like what if you just title it cage fights? You know? I mean, that's that that'll do it. That'll easily explain. It gets the point across. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:44 like what does bundus lega mean sure like what is like league obviously is legal what does bundis mean is bundis just like football in german i can't be i don't know is that like i'm going to google bundis let's see see what this is not going to come come up well bundis translation federal federal league so bundus league is federation federation league i don't know so bundus league is federation league That's weird. But like Syria, the Premier League, like, let's just go fights. We just, like, I, just fight. Just fight.
Starting point is 01:09:27 Justin Timberlake in the social network. Drop to the, just fights. That's what we want to do with this, PFL. You're welcome. You don't even need the S. Just do fight. Just, like, just fight. It's cleaner.
Starting point is 01:09:43 So that's it. That's my suggestion, John Martin. Fight. I kind of like fights. I said, too. Just fight. So that's my suggestion, John Martin. I don't know if you can trademark fights.
Starting point is 01:09:58 But do it. Let's do that. Coming up Saturday on Fox. Fight. That's what's happened. Honestly, it gets the point across as well. You know what you might want to turn in to watch? Fights.
Starting point is 01:10:12 Not the fights. fights fights. It's incredible. In the show, baby. We did it. All right. I don't know how I got on to that, but I was just like,
Starting point is 01:10:25 somebody commented something and I went like, they don't call the Premier League, the MLS or whatever. Like, it's the Premier League. Why do we have to do three letters? What if we just call it fights? It's the best answer.
Starting point is 01:10:40 We've solved it. That's so great. God, that's so good. All right. Last one. How many views will Rhonda or Rousey Corano get?
Starting point is 01:10:48 15 mil. We'll use that as the over under. Over under 15 mil. Over. I remember over to him. The Jake and Joshua got like 30 if memory serves. I think that's a pretty good bar for the over under though, because I could, but I, I'm going to go over.
Starting point is 01:11:07 I'm going to guess it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 20, but I, that's, I don't know, maybe I'm way, maybe I'm way low. Could be way low on that. Yeah. 33 million for Jake Paul Anthony Joshua. So I don't know if it quite gets there, but maybe it does. Yeah. I think it's over 15.
Starting point is 01:11:29 Like I do think it's over 15. I think it's, I think it's going to be over 20, but I don't know if it's over 30. And while that would be a very successful debut, it will pale in comparison to the debut of the rebranded fights. Fights. Fights on Fox, baby.
Starting point is 01:11:46 let's go. We did it. John Martin, once again, I've saved your promotion. You can just write me a check anytime you want, man. Jed, what is it again?
Starting point is 01:11:59 What's the new name of the organization? Fights. It's cleaner. Is it? Is it? All we're just fights. You can't mistake what it is. Everybody knows.
Starting point is 01:12:10 And we're good. Boom. I still bring the smart cage. I love the smart cage. I think, I think we have misutilized the smart cage. And when they bring me on staff over fights, I got to tell you,
Starting point is 01:12:24 we're going to make this, we're going to make this puppy sing. Oh, we save, every year we save, we saved this organization. They don't listen to us. They would be doing,
Starting point is 01:12:34 they would genuinely be the number two promotion. Yeah. Kayla Harrison wheel would, would have gotten them over and then all the other ideas, but fights. More wheels. That doesn't. We could have so much fun.
Starting point is 01:12:45 Yes. No one usualize the wheels. And they really should. So all right, we're done here. I'm going to go steal the trademark for fights. So they have to pay me to use it. It's a great idea. Preview show tomorrow, Jed, what time?
Starting point is 01:12:59 Timing is pretty tough. We're going to target 130. The problem is the way ends for the UFC are at noon. And there's an RIF presser at three. So there's not a big window for success there. So our target's 130 and hope the way ends get over sooner. if not, we'll go to when the way ends are officially over
Starting point is 01:13:18 and we'll keep the show pretty brief before we get to that RIF presser. Yes, RF presser, but listen, you know, the good news is the real meat and potatoes and the matter of the RIF pressers at the very end is the last two. So why? Yes, because the early RIF presser is going to be stuff
Starting point is 01:13:38 that nobody cares about. So then we can go a little long if we have to. So 130, two-ish, somewhere in that range. Yes. So stay tuned here on this channel. on the Twitch channel to figure out when that is going to happen and don't miss it. And then there'll be a Q&A and post show on to the next one. All sorts of fun. I don't know when the Q&A will be, but we will have one.
Starting point is 01:13:55 I will be doing that too. Yes. Oh, I got to figure all this out. Yes. Jose and I will be at the press conference in Tampa tomorrow for R.A.F. I will be at the event on Saturday because Jose has to do social for three different events. So there's a lot. There's a lot happening.
Starting point is 01:14:12 So shout out to Jose. Shout out to Jed. Shout out to all of you. Shout out to the Twitch-Taters. I am Mike Hack opening day for your Boston Red Sox. Have a great rest of the day, everybody. Shout out to fights. Oh, hold on.
Starting point is 01:14:26 Hold on a second. Oh, look at that. Anybody, but make sure to watch Prop Quiz tomorrow if you want to see a murder live on air. I mean, that's how we'll end it, everybody. Peace out. Fights. You're listening to the Vox Media Podcast Network.
