This Saturday, the UFC returns Sin City for UFC Vegas 95, headlined by a heavyweight rematch between Marcin Tybura and Serghei Spivac and the No Bets Barred boys are back with a full breakdown of the event. Co-hosts Conner Burks and Jed Meshew kick things off with a brief UFc Abu Dhabi and their unfortunate weekends before diving into this Saturday's event. Marc Thiene Taiburro taking on Sergei Spivak, Spieback looking for his redemption. Yeah, man. It's UFC card. I mean, one, there are two rematches on this card.

We'll get to the second one later. I don't know if you spotted it out there. It's a little hidden. Two rematches and two top 15 women's bansomwe. matchup so it's a lot. There's a lot of story going on this weekend. Some may say this is the most important no-bets part we've ever done, Connor. People are talking out there about this card. Vegas 95 is got the people going coming off the, you know, the old trip over to Abu Dhabi. This is a good way to follow that up. Is the rematch just me guessing here? Carol Hosa versus Panicanzad?

I don't think that's a rematch. No. I actually have no idea what the rematch is. I'm not even going to lie. Well, I didn't think you would. It's Stephanie Luciano to lead Al-Ale-Ale-A-Lan-Car as they originally fought to a draw on Contender Series. Okay. So.

We finally get a rightful winner. When you look at them and you see the 5-0-1 next Al-N-Car, the 5-1-1 next to Luciano, you know who those ones are. Both of them got signed off. that fight for sure, why not? And, uh, you know, it's a, it's a big revenge. Yeah, they, they, they not only left a mark on each other's records, but also on the heart of Dana White, uh, because he signed, signed them both. And now, and now we get closure. And closure's really what, what matters, Connor? We're getting closure in the main event, closure early to what top 15

women's band and weight matchups. What more could you ask for from a card? Yeah, do we, do we need closure in the main event. I mean, it was a 3027, Marcyne Tibera. A lot's changed since then, you know? Like, Sergei Spivak just surging. That's what they call him surging Sergei right now. So didn't he lose one of his last few fights? Let's not, let's not talk about what happening in Cyril Gahn. He's the only man who couldn't take Cyril Gond down and abolish him. We'll get into that. Before we do, though, buddy, how do Abu Dhabi treat you? I lost units. It's, it was a guarantee. It was a guarantee. It was a guarantee. It was a fucking guarantee.

Excuse my language. I mean, it's just like, because I won almost 11 units at UFC 304, there was no chance I was winning units on Abu Dhabi. Just the roller coaster continues. That sucks, because I also lost units. Then we just had a full-blown failure of a week. Turns out all of my bets were dumb,

except for KIASA inside the distance, pretty much. Can I get a shout out to Victoria Dutakova for just blowing the Project 55 Parlay? Sick. That was sick. Lose by a split decision. You know, we would have brought a plus 400 home. Probably would. I think, yeah, it would have profited for the week. It's $500. It's $500. The split decision, bad luck just continues. Now that I think about it even more, I just continue to be on the wrong side of those. I can't even, like, straight up, I just didn't even watch that fight. So I have no idea if it was a good, like if it was a bad decision, what it was. Breaking, breaking news here on the podcast. I did not watch the fight either. I saw on Tapology that I was a split decision lost. So I'm really not arguing either way. Yeah, I was out doing something. I wasn't too concerned about the prelims as is.

But yeah, doing the old Tapology refresh. Yeah, that one hurt. I was like, damn, but the last three won. I felt so dumb watching fights last weekend. Andrew Ruiz killed my boxing parley that I pulled. And I was like, oh, maybe I shouldn't bet on a dude who hasn't fought in like two and a half years. coming off major shoulder injury. This seems like that was pretty silly of you, Jed.

Cheeto, like, I thought Cheeto might do it for a minute. And then it didn't, Mikhail Olegsachic was just never remotely in the fight. Just all of my flyers didn't go. Umar was never close to finishing Corey Sandhagen. Loopy. Loopy was just like, uh, she got durned. She got durned. She got durned.

She got durned hard. Should have stuck with my girl? Now I know. Now I'm just blind betting my girl moving forward forever. She will lose her next fight. Oh, 100%. But this is the price we pay, Connor, for the game we love. All right.

So that's Abu Dhabi. That's that. Tough week. We move on. What better way to bounce back than UFC Apex 95? So let's dive right in. Marcin Tibera, Sergey Spivak 2. And right now, the odds, surprisingly.

are not in the favor of the defending Tibera Spivak Bowl champion. They are actually with surging Sergei Spivak. Minus 162, Marcine Tibera coming back at plus 136. How are we feeling on this one? Well, I'm feeling great. I currently have the Olympics Gold Zone stream up as well. And apparently we've got a diver from Marietta, Georgia coming up. Shout out.

Shout out to Gabby Thomas yesterday as well. Shout out. Shout out. I actually had Gabby Thomas. I've been just degenzo betting on the Olympics, like a madman. I just sit on my couch and just whatever is coming up next, I bet on. I had Gabby in a finishing off a plus 550 parlay. I was cheering her on like the stallion that she is.

I was going hard for. That wasn't even close. Shout out Gabby Thomas. There's a queen, clean win for Gabby. Shout out Amita Lour, one of the four wrestling bets I had down. I put a sizable wager on the 20-year-old woman from California who dominated her way right to the gold medal. Love that for us. That's first winning bet of the week, Artie under under the belt.

Already in the bag. If you guys can't tell, we're trying to talk about anything that isn't this fight and this fight card. I'm ready to get into it, man. I'm ready to get into it. Okay, maybe it was just me trying not to talk about this fight. Look, I got places to be, man. The sooner we talk about it, the sooner we're done talking about it. I'm taking a bet on Sergei Spivak.

I know that he lost the first iteration. It wouldn't stun me if he lost this one. That being said, I do think Spivak has shown a pretty clear improvement since their first fight. How many years ago was that? Four. Yeah, four years ago. And Marlene Taibo, it just is Marlene Taibur. He's out here.

He gets wins. He gets losses. He's just kind of middle of the road. But he's also getting old. up there in years, 38, 39, something like that. And I think Spivak is still ascending upward. It's not that he's going to, I probably won't ever fight for the belt, you know, but I do think he's good enough to get some takedowns here,

just kind of outwork Tybura. It's not like Tybara is going to clobber him with one punch. I think he can win the grappling this time around and get the dub. So I thought about bringing back heavyweight overs, a couple of heavy, A couple of tasty heavyweight overlooks this card, certainly, but decided props haven't been treating me all that well. We're going Spivak and just doing a little sprinkle,

just a tiny baby sprinkle on Spivak by submission. Tibura never been submitted, so you're getting plus 800 at the number. Five rounds, maybe finds a way to get there instead of a ground and pound finish. So just a little baby on it. I actually agree with you in terms of the matchup. I do think Spivak is going to get it done. I think he bounces back after, you know, four years to let this thing stew, to let feelings, you know. We saw Gabby.

Gabby had four, you know, three years from the last Olympics to look what it did to her. Spivak, Gabby Thomas, same kind of athlete, really. A volcanic resurgence here from surging Sergei Spivak. I do think he gets it done. But I'm actually taking the under three and a half at minus 115. I know you talked about heavyweight overs. I think Sergei Spivak is going to get this to the ground. and I'm guessing ground and pound.

I like the submission. Zig, one other Zag. But yeah, I mean, Tibera been K-Oed five times in his career now. I could absolutely see a ground-of-pound finish. But speedback, six of his last seven have ended in rounds one or two. I think he's going to be the one getting it done. So, yeah, under three and a half, minus 115. That's my bet for the M.E., the main event.

I like it. We're feeling the same way. I love when we've got the same energy. Let's go to the co-main event, Shepa, Mariscald, taking on Damon Jackson. Right now, Chepe, your favorite, minus 230,

Damon Jackson coming back at plus 190. No bet for me, but I think this could be fight of the night. I think this one could be really exciting. It could be very fun. This was, we talked off air very briefly. I mentioned that I got a little more action

than I probably would normally have this week because I got a few just, I got a few bets that I got to do for the spirit of the game, just for the love of things. Damon Jackson was my birthday, brother and Thursday. He and I both turned 36 years of age. This Thursday. This, this Thursday, tomorrow. Thanks, buddy. As of our recording. So he's going to, you know, he's going to not be able to

have the cake. He's going to make the weight cut, but he's going to save up all that energy. And Saturday, he comes out there, gets the W, gets to have a little belated birthday cake, gets to celebrate with the family, presents, you know, drinks, all that jazz. So got to support my birthday brother. And every time he steps in the cage, particularly when it's our birthday week. That's tempting, especially as a dog. Birthday week. That's 1.95, you know. Let's keep it rolling.

Yana Santos taking on Chelsea Chandler, the first of two top 15 women bantam weight fights on this card. I mean, we're in the thick of it. We're in the thick of it. I mean, are they calling this the women's bantamweight Grand Prix? The ultimate prize being Raquel Pennington or potentially the winner of Rockel Pennington Juliana Pena. It's a good time to be a diehard fan of the women's bantam weight division.

I'll tell you that much. Alexander K. Lee is very excited about this card. How could you not be? How could you not be? And right now, Yana Santos is your favorite. Minus 142, Chelsea Chandler plus 120. My prediction for the fight, Diaz Army, Chelsea Chandler gets it done. But I will not be betting on this.

I'll not be betting on either of the women's band of white belts. My prediction for this fight is Diaz's Army gets it done. and I am betting on Chelsea Chandler because she's an underdog. And, you know, just straight up, I don't think Yanosanto's at this stage of her career, what she lost like three, four in a row, something like that, certainly older, kind of just doesn't seem like she's there anymore. And I don't think Chelsea Chandler is a world-beater. But again, I think you're getting in on somebody who is rising,

whereas at best, Yanos Santos is certainly in the declining stage of her career. No doubt. If I'm getting the underdog odds on the rising, Pup, give me, give me Chelsea Chandler here. Man, I really wish there was a third women's bandam weight bout to do

over one and a half son. I mean, you, you can do it on the straw weight bout just do the women's bouts. Yeah, yeah, I guess I could.

I'm extremely confident Alan Carl Luciano goes over the one and a half there. All right, I think that might be. Having rewatched their contender series fight for this to make sure I didn't miss remember it,

Alan Carr is going to shoot a takedowns because she can't strike it all and she's tiny. Luciano's going to get taken down a couple of times, but not get submitted and this thing's going to go long. And so we'll just jump right into Danny Barlow, left-hand two. God, taking on Nikolai Veritenekov. And right now, left-hand. To God, your favorite. Sitting that minus 380, Varentenikov plus 300. I'm using Barlow as a parlay piece.

I think he's too fast, too much of a striking advantage. I think he gets it done. I looked at this fight and I said, reflexively, I don't want to bet this price on Barlow. And even more so, I super don't want to have to go study Nikolai Veritinov. So I just passed because I can't tell you a thing. No love for a little Kazakhstan fighter. don't want to do the tape study. Could be the next Shavkat Rakhmanov.

You know, Shavkat doesn't have four losses, so I'm not sure they'd quite the same level. But I just straight up didn't want to do it. I had other things to do this week than dive into tape study on a UFC debutante. It looks like they've also added a fight to this one. Chris Gutierrez taking on Kwongle. Yeah, I mean, I feel like Chris Gutierrez gets it done.

He's minus 360. He's the UFC vet. He has many, many more professional fights, 27 to 8. I obviously have not really watched too much on Kwong Lam. I mean, he's coming over from LFA. Vietnamese fighting out of Minnesota. Shout out. Also, I think you shouldn't bet him ever.

The man lost his first fight in nine seconds. So I'm just never going to support you if your first outing in a fist fight is a nine second loss. Oh, yes. As an amateur career. back in 2015 at Chosen Few FC6. Can't get behind it. So, I mean, Chris Gutierrez is actually pretty decent, probably wins, but I wasn't going to go dive into, if I wasn't going to dive into tape on the, you know, the Kazakhstan fighter, I'm certainly not doing it on the 8-node dude who lost in nine seconds. It's amateur debut.

That was actually a great card. Chosen few FC6 out in Madison, Wisconsin. Future Bellator fighter, Mark Leminger on it. Okay. I mean, not. That's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's studied. How could we also forget Israel Lozano? I, I just pulled it up. Israel Lozano is an absolutely unbelievable name. This is not, the guy's name is not Israel, uh, by the way. It is I S capital R, EAL. This dude is as American as it gets. He's from Milwaukee.

His name is Israel Lazzano. He is real. I mean, just what you know. He sure is. Absolutely star, Sutter to Faire over there, had chosen to UFC 6, September of 2015. How could you forget? I did. I don't know how. How could you forget?

She just went right out in my head. Lewis Miranda was on this card. Shout out to a legend. Legends are real. They called Michael Keisa a legend on the broadcast last week. And I was like, we're throwing that word. I have been under the belief that that word gets

thrown out too often as it is. Yeah. Especially hanging out with New York Rick and Helwani, they throw around legend like I throw around dude. Oh, Hawani loves legend. Oh, you do anyone a favor. Like, you hand Rick a napkin. He's like, legend.

Thanks. I'm just like, this word is starting to lose its meaning here. Like, legend is reserved for the greatest of the great. Not when I hand you a paper towel to wipe the schmutz off your chin. Not Michael Ciazza. That's not who it's just a... Listen, love Michael Ciazza. Wouldn't call him a legend.

I think legend, we're talking the tier of George St. Pierre. Like, we're talking... Correct. That is the level of legend. Yeah. You got to have a special aura about you to be a legend as well. If you're not a Hall of Famer, you're not a legend. And I got to tell you, Michael Case is just not going to be a Hall of Famer.

You actually have to get into the Hall of Fame. And then there's another... to get into being a legend. It's the VIP room in the Hall of Fame, you know. Michael Jordan, legend. Legend. Like, Joe Montana, legend. Like, these are the legends.

All right. So I think we have covered the main card. Yes, let's head on. I believe that's correct. Do the prelims, five fights on the prelims, 10 fights on this card. That is a blessing. I'm a big fan of that.

Five being start. We could have done four, been out of there by nine, but we'll survive. We'll be all right. Let's jump in. In the hardest name bout of the year, some are saying the decade, I heard of murmurs of the century,

Charlamos, Gregario, taking on Toshiomi Kazama. I mean, the Scrabble score through the roof here. Yeah, Brennan Fitzgerald is going to have a blast with this one. But most likely,

I will just tell the people that I'm watching this card with, the dozens, the flocks of people, this is the ferocious taking on the silent finisher. Silent finisher. And it doesn't get much better than that. I mean, if you want me to be honest, my notes say hardest name matchup of the year, I will not be betting on it.

I had three bets this week, and I just added a fourth with the women's over one and a half. I love this. This might be the least I have given a shit about a card at all. Well, the UFC isn't caring about it. So why should you? That's what I always say. We're also sandwiched between a pay-per-view that I couldn't wait for, a really good fight night in Abu Dhabi, and UFC 305. We did not need this 10-fight card at the apex. We did not fucking need it, dude. And it's just, ah, man. I understand that the fans are like, At least we got fights. It's just like, yeah, but when you work in this industry, it means you have to cover said fights.

There are always fights out there, guys. Every weekend, there are fights. Go to Grabaka Hitman on Twitter, Caposa. If it's just for the love of the game, yes, Caposa is he is quickly approaching legendary territory. If you just, for the love of the game, if you just want to watch fights, I can guarantee you can find fights without watching the UFC. kind of just looking at the card and stuff. I was like, this is when you're too lazy to go grocery shopping, but you need to cook dinner, so you just open up the pantry and see, what can I put together that makes a meal? Maybe I have a bowl of cereal and I cook some eggs because I just got to get more calories in. There's no rhyme or reason.

That is a perfect. That is a perfect. Like you get home later from work than you expected so you don't have the time to go grocery shopping. You just got to cook what's left. And yeah, you end up having pasta with vodka sauce, no meats or anything like that, and a P.B&J. And you're just like, let's just call it a night. Yeah. It's enough calories.

It's fine. We're done here. Just got to get something in me. That's this card. And to that point, I do not have any bet on the Charlampo's Gagorio, Toshiyoma, Kazama fight as well, because why would anyone? Oh, why would anyone?

Let's move on to the second Bantamweight, ranked, Bantamweight, ranked women's Bantamweight. And they're not even on the main card. Why are they not on the main card? Don't even put it on the main card. If you really want to make this fight exciting, you do Carol Hosa Panakianzad, and then you immediately do Yana Santos, Chelsea Chandler, and then the winner of each fights. Go main? Yeah, the winner of each fights them in the Comane.

And the winner of that gets to be the backup fighter for Rockout Pennington, Giuliana Payne. That would be, that would be electric. I would be so in on that. I mean, Connor, I'm just, I just pulled this up. In the UFC rankings, we've got numbers 12, 11, 14, and tied for eight competing this week. So that's a lot of numbers. Yeah, yeah, is it Carol Hosa is tied with everyone? Tied with Misha Tate and Norma Dumont for number eight.

How the fuck that you have three number eights? It's a terrific question. Carol Hosa was ahead of them, but according to this recently, Misha Tait and Norma Dumont, who did not fight recently, somehow bumped up a two spots. Yeah, so Carol Hosa, I'm taking the over one and a half since 2019. she has only gone under the one and a half never so yeah over one and a half's the parley piece here i mean i decided not to do a parley but i was looking at the women's over parley uh i also briefly

considered just taking a uh a little flyer dog shot on panician zod because i don't think there's that much between these two women and so like probably 50 50 fight just bet the underdog see what happens and then i thought i don't want to do that so i decided not I don't want to do that shit. I don't want to do that. All right, let's keep it rolling. Carl Williams taking on Jonata Danese. And right now, our man, your man, Atlanta's own, Carl Williams, the favor minus 218.

Denise coming back, plus 180. This is the easiest bet on the card for me, man. You got to support homegrown. You got to support homegrown talent, baby. Atlanta's very own. Carl Williams. Plus, Denise got taken down and controlled for the entire first round against Austin Lane. What's the madman?

What's the monster? Carl Williams going to do to him. So yeah, that's the bet. Big Carl Williams. 100, 100% with you on this one. I mean, Janada Denise is a glory guy. He can't stop a double leg.

Come on, this man. Come on, dude. Man doesn't know anything about stopping a double leg. So got to support our Atlanta boys. Also, I have to look this up right now because there's a man lifting weights right now. And maybe he is the dude from Marietta. And a gold belt. A shout out to Marietta.

Great spot. Dude is. Boom. Hampton Morris. Hampton. He is lifting for the gold at like 135 KG or not KG pounds. So it's like 55 KG. Watching that as it goes.

So I mean, he's reping Marietta right now on the world stage. Very, very confident Carl Williams going to rep the A on Saturday. Carl Williams feel like he's going to, he's going to, he's, He's going to own a car dealership in the suburbs of Atlanta later in his life. I mean, why not? You know, when you're, would you like to buy a used Kia or use Subaru from former UFC heavyweight title challenger, Carl Williams? Carl Williams Kia.

Former UFC ranking contender. Never actually made the top 15, but got kind of close. I mean, he'll probably make the top 15 at this rate. If he just tackles. He's gone. Denise, heavyweight's just garbage. What would they put them at? In the Ossie?

Four and O'clock, baby. All right, let's keep it rolling. Jarno, Aaron's taking on. Yusuf Zalal. Zalulah's great last time out. Gets a big price tag on them this time. Minus 440. Aaron's plus 340 coming on your way back.

I took Zal all. Beginning of the week, I took my minus 325. Yeah, I just think he gets it done. I agree Zalalalal L gets it done. I just didn't want to do a parlay this week. I don't know. I got a little burn. in last week.

And I don't feel enough confident. I think there's a parlay to be made with a couple of these big old hefty favorites out there who I very much like. Like if you wanted to mix Gutierrez and Zalal in there, maybe with Danny Barlow or whatever, I think you can get somewhere to a good number that's reasonable. But, uh, nah, I'm out. I almost sounded like some sort of cheese mixture. If you wanted to mix in a little Gutierrez with some Zalalal.

Uh, anyway, let's get the last one of the night. Stephanie Last one. Luciano taking on Talita Alincar the rematch book in rematches

folks. You're going to get the rematch in the curtain jerker and the rematch in the main event. That's how they

get you into the door. You want to be tuning in immediately and then they keep you there the whole time so you can get that closure at the end.

So give me the over one and a half and that'll do it for me. I'm on Stephanie Luciano. One, she's a big pause

with puppy contender. Kind of they're 12 and 1. And that one loss is the Krispy Carly Judee. We thought won that split. Yeah, big peas on a P. What about Tom Nolan? Tom Nolan is one in one.

And as you see, so collectively all my favorite prospects from the most recent season, particularly next season about to start contendary series. But last seasons, we are collectively 13 and 2, with one of those, a very contentious split decision loss for us. So love that. You can go watch the fight. It's on ESPN their first one. Alancar is like a jiu-jitsu person who is good at grappling and an okay wrestler,

but she's very, very small. Like she feels like she's probably supposed to be an atom weight. UFC. obviously doesn't have those. And Luciano is still very raw, but as the fight went on, was able to stuff more takedowns and really put it on Alancar down the stretch. I mean, really put it on Alancar the whole fight. Alan Carr just controlled position, got the back for a while, but she couldn't find the submission, couldn't really get close on anything.

And I think Luciano is still young, improving. She's only going to come out here with more fire from that performance. And I think she can have a great debut for us and keep the big pause momentum rolling. That's really what we want to do here. Yeah, man. I mean, just keep it rolling. Big P's on a P is a proud lineage at this point. It is.

They're talking about getting tattoos, Connor. Wow. Been talking to them. They're all like, we're in a very elite special group. Yes. Thinking about getting just like a paw print. Yeah, a big paw print. With a 20, 23 right across the middle.

So they know which class of big paws they are from. Yes. Yeah, I like this. I like this. And do you put it on a puppy? Do you get a puppy with giant paws? And then it's wearing a collar. And instead of the name tag, it just says the year that they were big paws on a puppy.

I mean, that's got to be for them to just. side, I don't, I don't want to, you know, put things on them. They have to determine it as a group. But I think it was, I think Andre Lima was the first guy to sort of start it. He's like, I just got this tattoo with a bite mark. You know, it would look really good next to it, a big pause tattoo. Nailed it. We're talking through it.

He's, the group chat's going. I don't, I don't hop in too much, you know. I don't want to, I don't want to way too heavily on their minds. But they, they kept me in the loop.
