UFC 303 International Fight Week. We are back in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada, Alex Pereira, Yuri Prohashka, too.
Starting point is 00:02:08 Jed, how we feel, my man. It's pay-per-view fight week. And I've said this a bunch on different programs. Look, it ain't the same. It's not the same as it Connarder. Fight Week. It's never going to be. You know, we have.
Starting point is 00:02:22 had we had a lot of plans this week for mcgregor's return a lot of special features and stuff to be worked on for like a month in advance and so we don't get any of that hurts it hurts a little bit but this card damn good card Connor like it's a this main card in particular chef's kiss is exceptional maybe some of the circumstances could be a little bit better but top to bottom this main card is better than it was when it was McGregor it's not the same when we don't have that same energy, that same excitement, different, you know, it's a different sort of vibe. But you're getting Buehahach, you're getting Alex Polon. Like, that's, that's all I can ever ask for as a fan. Then you're getting Brian Ortega Diego Lopez. You're also getting Ian Garry MVP,
Starting point is 00:03:08 Anthony Smith, Roman DeLite. I can't wait for it. It's going to be a great, a great event. It's always fun, international fight week, middle of the summer. A lot of events going on out in Las Vegas. You got the Hall of Fame. It's just kind of a feel-good moment. It weather's nice, get good fights. There's not really much else going on. It's a great time. It's a great time to be alive. It's a great time.
Starting point is 00:03:30 The Hall of Fame on Thursday should be fun. Got, you know, guys like Frankie Edgar going in there. Just a bunch of, it'll be a bunch of a celebration of the sport. And then, oh, Yohanna? My girl's going in, trying to think of who else is going in this year. Big year for the Hall of Fame. Then we get some fights. You'll meet some damn good fights.
Starting point is 00:03:50 And by the way, Connor, needs to be said, another winning week. We're closing in on five units up for the year. We are slowly building the stack, baby. I love it. Love to hear it. Unfortunately, for me, small losing week, just needed one more bet to go through to get a winning week. Bad run, bad run of split decision losses for me. It's got to be five or six in a row at this point.
Starting point is 00:04:13 The long jow. That's tough. I mean, I'm talking as soon as these things go to split, as soon as I hear Bruce Buffer say one of the judge's names and how they scored it, I'm like, I'm losing this. I'm losing this. And as soon as that first fight of the night went to a split decision, I was like, yep, is it going to be a Lee win.
Starting point is 00:04:27 It was a Lee win. Losing a split hurts, especially because you're not fully confident that your guy won. Like when you're like, you're like, oh, man, I'm not sure if my guy actually got it done. It just hurts all the more because it's a big swing. When you're doing the math at the end of the day, you're like, man, if that wouldn't come home, would have been a lot better night. But alas, time to bounce back on UFC 303. It is tough.
Starting point is 00:04:50 I was on the other side. I got the maybe Nazar Hock Pross shouldn't have won that decision over Jared Gordon, but it cast my Hock Pross by decision bet, which is huge. And people said it couldn't happen, Conner. They said that the Scorpio bet couldn't happen, that the October 24th bet couldn't happen. Alexander Volkov, Kelvin Gasselm, doing the thing. Also, the Pokemon bet would have, the parley would have cashed if you bet Gassel and Hockpross.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Sure would have. So it would have just been a big parley week, but we killed it. Honestly, the entire reason I made money was because Volkov won that fight. And he won, man. He beat him down. It was, where does Volkov line up in the heavyweight title picture now? He was fifth and beat the number three guy handling. I mean, I think he gets to fight Cyril Gan again.
Starting point is 00:05:38 Yeah, like one went away. Because I think Cyril Gahn has no interest in fighting Jailton Almeida. So, like, yeah, he's kind of in that spot. One more win. or honestly, if he just kind of sits, he might get a title shot. If he just like weights around and things break right, uh,
Starting point is 00:05:54 absolutely unexpected, but it was terrific because I was getting killed. PFL parley, dead. Dead on arrival. Dead on a rival. That BFL barlet. I was like,
Starting point is 00:06:05 oh shit. Shout out. It's dead. Shoeface, you just immediately killed it. And then like this, it still wasn't even the other legs were tough. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:16 You know, Rob Borgson had a tough fight. Impa had a tough fight. I was like, this was not, none of these were what I was expecting the parlay. Even Paul Hughes got dropped in the first round of Palo. I was like, this was just a bad parley. Terrible parley. A nice reminder going into this week. Don't need to be barling up PFL or anything like that.
Starting point is 00:06:36 I'm just thinking to UFC 303. Same, particularly because I got a lot of action this week. Oh, I can't wait to hear it. I can't wait to hear it because I'm actually pretty light, especially for an international fight week. I am fairly light, but... That's the thing. I wish I was light, because I know what this means.
Starting point is 00:06:52 I have a lot of action and all of it's straight. Like, I have no overs, no props. It's all straight action. I'm going to lose all of the money I've spent all year trying to get into the black with, and it's going to be tragic. I can't wait to hear it. Let's dive right into it.
Starting point is 00:07:07 UFC 303 main event. Alex Pereira, Yuri Prohashka, the rematch. We saw the first one back in November at Madison Square, Guard and Alex Pereira came out victorious by second round. Knockout. Now they rematch Pereira a favorite, but not a huge favorite. Minus 155 on draft kings plus 130 for Yeri Prohashka. I'll let you give your spiel on this fight. For me, I have no side. I cannot pick a side. I cannot cheer against either of these guys. I mean, they're just two of my favorites. I'm sad that one of them has to lose.
Starting point is 00:07:40 But if I'm going to give like my gut, what I feel deep down in my gut, Uri gets redemption, and then we get the trilogy back in Madison Square Garden in November. So I kind of agree with that general thought. Like, this was a really tough fight for me to pick because on a full camp in optimal circumstances, I'm going to pick Alex Pairer every time. I picked him last time. I think that Yeri is, I love Yeri. He's my large adult son.
Starting point is 00:08:10 He's a lunatic. and that is uniquely poorly positioned to work against a man who hits his hard and is as effective and efficient as Alex Pereira. And we even saw Pereira honestly has like more success of styming any groundwork defending takedowns than I think a lot of people would have thought. I think stylistically the matchup should favor him, but I got to tell you, big, big question marks coming into this given the circumstances. Pereira was by all accounts in Australia at the time. that he accepted this fight. It was like, sure, I guess, and flew back, whereas Yeri lives year round in a hut in the woods and is always training to do battle.
Starting point is 00:08:52 Pereira has the toe injuries, a couple of broken toes or whatever in there that prevented him from doing UFC 301, which he wanted to make that quick turnaround. Where's he at? I mean, we know now, Connor, a broken toe is perhaps the most devastating injury in the sport. Greg said it. I mean, you can't do it. If you're a guy trying to fight on a broken toe, just give up. It's an automatic loss.
Starting point is 00:09:15 You got to pull out of the fight. Pereira has chosen not to. And so I think a lot of that lines up for Yeri, but I can't get the first fight out of my head. And so I did what had to be done, Connor. We went back to back. Last week, Chat GPT gave us Bobby Whitaker easy and easy cash. ChatGPT continues to be a money printing factory. So we went right back for this main event.
Starting point is 00:09:38 And let me tell you what ChatGPT says. Connor. It says the first round sees both fighters testing each other's defenses. Pohashka lands some heavy shots. Pereira relies on counterstriking and movement. The second round, Pajaska attempts to capitalize on Pereira's movement being compromised. But Pereira is fueled by sheer determination and skill. Binds an opening. A lightning fast combination.
Starting point is 00:10:00 Pereira unleashed a devastating right hook that catches Pajasca off guard. The crowd erupts. Perashka staggers back stunned. sensing an opportunity. Pereira closes in swiftly unleashing a barrage of punches and elbows that leave Perashka unable to continue. TKO round two just like the first time. Wow, a repeat of last time.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Chat GPT is saying the same thing is about to happen. History is going to repeat itself. And so we have bet Alex Pereira at minus 150. Wow. Okay. I'm not going to dispute it. I have nothing to say. I don't know who's going to win the fight.
Starting point is 00:10:37 I would like Erie to win. I think I would just so I could see a third. Exactly, because that's like, this is all upside for Proetan. Because if he loses, they were 100% going to let him run this right back because of the circumstances of this. No doubt. And so I would honestly love for Yuri to get in there. Tough scenes from my guy, Magamacan Ankelaiav, probably the best 205 in the world. Probably has been that for the last three years.
Starting point is 00:11:02 Never going to get a chance to hold the belt. but I would love to see a third fight between these two under perfect ideal circumstances at the end of the year. Oh, man. Comane to a John Jones fight? I mean, like, Pereira loves MSG, big fan of it. That's a monster card. That's a monster card right there.
Starting point is 00:11:23 Monster card. Or just doing the December pay-per-views, fine too. Comaine to, Connor McGregor, Michael Chandler in December. Sign me out for all that. Yeah, it's going to be incredible. I am using fight does not go to a decision as a parlay, piece minus 450. I think that's good.
Starting point is 00:11:39 Yeah, Yuri has not been to a decision in eight years, and five of Pereira's last six have not gone to a decision, including this very fight just seven months ago. So, yeah, official prediction. Yuri, K-O, round three trilogy happens at MSG. I can't wait for this. This is just one of those fights that just, oh, well, when they start making the walks, pins and needles the entire time. I mean, plus going to be pretty exciting. We get to watch it together, buddy.
Starting point is 00:12:10 Yes, sir. Let's go. That's right. Watch party live, baby. I get to come see the, uh, the, the, the, the, the, the shoe mansion on Saturday. Yes, let's call it a mansion. That is exactly what this is. That's what we're calling it. The Michoud Mansion is going to be fantastic. Let's roll along to the co-main event in the evening. Brian Ortega, taking on Diego Lopez right now. You can get Diego for minus 135 Ortega coming back at plus one. 114. What are your thoughts on this one?
Starting point is 00:12:39 I'm a well-known hater of Brian Ortega and I stand by it. I have lost a lot of money to this young man. I have I don't understand him. I never will. I've said it a bunch on different programs in the MMA Fighting Network, Great Network. He's not good,
Starting point is 00:12:56 but he keeps winning. Like every single fight. He's got the dog in. Every single fight he is in, he is getting his ass beat until he wins the fight. Like, The Korean zombie fight is the only fight that he was not like getting thumped in before pulling off a comeback. And I can't ever understand that he just has the cheat code of being impervious to pain. He's just impossible to kill.
Starting point is 00:13:22 And so that gets you a lot of benefit. It doesn't matter if you don't have defense because he does it. He has no defense. His defense is literally being impossible to knock out. And so I am going to assume. that Diego Lopez is uniquely positioned to take advantage of this. Because what we've seen from Lopez in his UFC run thus far is that this guy all has the dog in him as well.
Starting point is 00:13:48 This guy is not a guy who is going to throw away winning opportunities in pursuit of something. He's the guy who's going to make winning opportunities out of nothing. Watch the Movstar Evoev fight. Evoev is like should just be dominating him, but he is just gritting through and be like, nope. I am going to get through here. I have tremendous offense and a indomitable spirit. I think that matches up against Brian Ortega.
Starting point is 00:14:14 I could never bet on Brian Ortega anyway. So I'm doing it again. Brian Ortega, he's got a new friend, Muing Gafferov, one last week and immediately became an enemy of Jed Mishu. Brian Ortega is the commander of the enemies of Jed Meshu, and so I'm betting Diego Lopez. All right. I love it.
Starting point is 00:14:34 A big fan of Diego Lopez. He is like the rising star. He's one of the biggest baby faces in all of MMA. Definitely at 1.45. And I'm with you. I don't particularly want to bet against him. But man, Brian Ortega last time out against Jaya Rodriguez made me a nice little chunk of cash. And I just don't really want to go against him either because he is an absolute dog.
Starting point is 00:14:59 Because Diego Lopez could look like he's winning this entire fight until it's like, wait, Brian Ortega is just won. Fights over. Can you believe it? Yeah, that's every Brian Ortega fight. Yeah, I mean, that's pretty much it. Diego Lopez has, I mean, how can you not love the guy with the hair, the personality, the way that he calls everyone out,
Starting point is 00:15:16 the debut against Mosa Rhevloev, and then his last three fights have taken like a combined four minutes. Like, he's winning every fight in 90 seconds. So, like, I don't see Brian Ortega winning a decision. I think Diego Lopez is striking, has really looked good of late, obviously against lesser competition, but I just feel like it's Brian Ortega is either going to pull this from the ashes or Diego Lopez is going to get this done, man.
Starting point is 00:15:44 Shout out. I don't know if you can hear that. Oh, sure can. Love the tunes. I mean, nothing like a good tapology advertisement. You just got to love it. They just got to love it. Shout out to tapology.
Starting point is 00:15:56 They're fantastic, but they just ram the ads down your throat. I mean, I'm looking right now on the screen at five different ads and one of them just got sound. Get paid. It's great. It's great stuff. Get paid that, I'll get that paper.
Starting point is 00:16:09 So, yeah, I'm staying away from this one. Official prediction, Diego Lopez, round two TKO. God, I would love that. Money-wise. It would be so good for me. I see, I don't hate Brian Ortega. I'm indifferent on him. He's won me money.
Starting point is 00:16:26 He's lost me money. It is what it is. But should be a, I mean, I mean, this is one of those fights where I'm like, this thing's probably going to be sick. Like, it's probably going to be a super sick fight. It should be fun. Like, it should be awesome. So I can't wait for that one.
Starting point is 00:16:38 Let's keep it rolling along to Anthony Smith versus Roman Delite. What was once Jamal Hill, Khalil Roundtree has divulged all the way into Anthony Smith, Anthony Smith, Anthony Smith, all the way into Anthony Smith. It's tough. Jamal Hill, Calleil Roundtree. Jamal Hill, Carlos Olberg, Anthony Smith. Anthony Smith, Roman DeLitezay, in Stepson, the Georgian. It's the telephone game.
Starting point is 00:17:00 It's the telephone game. In Steps the Georgian on short notice. Up a weight class, this one taking place at 205. And right now, Roman Lute, your favorite sitting at minus 142, Anthony Smith, plus 120 coming back. I thought about playing Roman. But then I was just like, man, he's... Georgia Pride. Georgia Pride.
Starting point is 00:17:20 Got to support the guy. We're in the Peach State. Got to support. But, oh, man, it's just such short notice. coming up a weight class. It's just, I'm just, I just don't feel enticed
Starting point is 00:17:35 to bet my money on it. I am disappointed in you because... Are you going to talk me into Roman DeLite? I mean, I'm not talking to you in for any technical reasons or breakdowns. I bet him assuming you would because you and I are watching it together, Georgia Pride. I don't have that much bet, have that many bets. Roman DeLite is getting added to the card now. I have two singles in a parlay right now.
Starting point is 00:17:56 Let's make it three singles in a parlay. We'll add Roman Delizte. This is easy for me. I already kind of have a gimmick bet. So let's just add one more with Romano Deloitte. Perfect. Yeah. Georgia Pride will be together in the Peach State.
Starting point is 00:18:09 We support our guys. Shout to Roman Delete. Even though the like two month long Georgia parlay, the Leite Marab, Iliot Theravoria, that would have paid out so beautifully earlier this year. He killed Rob. Yeah. I will say, I probably wouldn't bet this otherwise, honestly. Like, I'm totally with you on that short notice coming up a weight class.
Starting point is 00:18:35 Anthony Smith has just shot. Like, he is not half the fighter he used to be. He's still grinding out wins because two of five is a bad weight class. But I honestly don't know why this fight got made, like, given the telephone game, when Allberg pulled out, you could have just been like, Anthony, you were already stepping in on short notice. Let's just jump. Let's just bump you. We'll move you back a couple weeks.
Starting point is 00:18:58 We'll get you something that makes a little more sense than this middle weight coming up. But here we are. But I think Roman has a very good chance to win this, even given the circumstances. So it's not like a waste of a bet. It's just not a bet I'd be making if it weren't for, you know, Saturday night. A bit of Georgia pride. A bit of Georgia pride. Support for this show comes from Chase.

Myra Buena Silva taking on Macy Chazahn. Man, I have to say, this line has come crashing down. Chazan opened as a plus 195 dog on Draft Kings and now is all the way down to minus 105.
Starting point is 00:20:43 I mean, the money is a lot of movement. Do you have a bet here? Dumped on Macy Chazon. No, I did not. I was just saying, I feel like you probably don't have a bet here. Don't have a bet. No interest in placing a bet. She's gonna be bigger, way bigger.
Starting point is 00:20:56 If NBS can't get a sub, she's probably gonna lose. Tell him, please don't. Let me, Connor, let me convince you to place a wager here. You already convince me into one that I'm not too sure about. Trust me, this one you're gonna be sure about.
Starting point is 00:21:09 You're gonna feel so good about this bet. Because Connor, I'm giving it the curse. When I looked at this fight, I said, I don't know what the fuck this line is doing. And every time I've ever done that, I have immediately lost the bet. Every one of them. Hasn't been close.
Starting point is 00:21:27 I've made quite a bit of cheddar on you being like, I don't understand this line. And me being like, I'm just going to fade that then. Yeah. Everyone should. And like, that's the thing. I reached out to Alexander Cayley, our compatriot yesterday. I was like, Mace Jason's not good, right? Like that, he was like, as a person, as a fighter, was like, no, as a fighter.
Starting point is 00:21:46 Like, she's not good. He's like, eh. Why is she like, at the beginning of this year, Connor, I had a, MBS to end the year as champion future. Everyone was on board with MBS being like, oh, she's the one fun bantam weight. Something good can happen. And if this line would have opened that,
Starting point is 00:22:08 I wouldn't be like, I don't know what the far is going on. But when I looked at the lines, I'll pick them. And I'm like, what the hell? Mason isn't good. And I know MBS lost to Rocky Pennington. You know who else lost to Rocky Pennington? Ms. Jason.
Starting point is 00:22:21 And she didn't go five rounds. with her she got tapped like it's i don't i don't understand it and so i bet myr bwana silver straight up it's going to lose a hundred like there is no doubt in my mind that this is a losing bet because i do not understand the odds so you should bet macy chason because you will have a winner but i'm on myr bwana silver no because i'm actually kind of with you i am a little bit curious as to why myr bina sly why has money coming in on her oh no there's a lot of money coming in on her oh no there's a lot of money coming and on Macy Chazahn. Why?
Starting point is 00:22:55 It's looking like she's going to close as the favorite. I don't, again, I don't understand it. Go better. Obviously, that's going to be the winning bet. But, like, because she lost to Rocky Pettington, the champion, who's like a very solid fighter, we're all just out on my point of silver now. I don't, I don't understand.
Starting point is 00:23:17 Yeah, I just, I don't know. I mean, it is essentially across every book, it's minus 115. each way. So I'm just staying away. This isn't a fight that I need to have money on. It's, honestly, it's either going to end in, like, one of them getting finished or it's probably going to be pretty boring. It's probably going to be a snoozer. I mean, yeah, it's going to be a snoozer because Space Chasin's just going to get some takedowns and sit on her, because that's what's going to happen. I am so personally shook for me being like, what the shit is this line? I guess every time it
Starting point is 00:23:53 fails and my immediate reaction was what the hell is going on here uh and so yeah it's it's going to happen i don't know why this is a main card fight um i mean other than the name value like put joe pifer on the main card you know yeah put joe piper put patent talbot put put put put in palpit this is not gonna this probably won't be fun no i can almost guarantee you it's not going to be fun um so yeah next fight next fight next fight could be very fun uh let's get to the last fight on the main card i and taking on MVP Michael Venom page and right now Ian Gary is your favorite at minus 135 MVP coming back plus one more plus 114. How are we feeling on this one? I'm on Michael Venom page. I'm just going to come out and lead with the bet. I've been really high on Machado Gary and kind of his future in the vision. Still am very young guy, super talented, kind of in this crop of guys like Jack Della coming up and who are, you know,
Starting point is 00:24:53 really, really strong prospects to, like, future title contenders almost assuredly, maybe even a champion. I think it's a bad style matchup for him because a lot of people don't like Michael Vennon Page. One of the people works in a Fyingercom. It feels about Michael Vennon Page's the way I feel about Brian Ortega or Michael Chandler, just hates him. I didn't know about this drama. He's really, is like, he's the worst fighter of all time.
Starting point is 00:25:18 And I got to tell you, he's not. I'm not going to throw anybody under the bus. but some people have said that and he's not. He's not the worst fighter of all time. In fact, he's a very, very good fighter. Has he not faced the highest level of competition? 100%. Nobody's going to argue that he's been killing world beaters.
Starting point is 00:25:36 But let me tell you a couple of things about this man. He basically has lost one time in his career. He lost Logan Storley. He didn't really lose to Logan Storley. That one lost was Douglas Lima. He went and avenged it. Also, I think people are forgetting. Because I was on Douglas Lima.
Starting point is 00:25:52 I was watching that fight and I was like, oh shit, Douglas Lima is not doing too hot. And then he found a kill shot. And it was awesome. It was an unbelievable finish from a leg kick, standing up kills him. It's great.
Starting point is 00:26:04 But like, he wasn't winning the fight until he won the fight. Because nobody beats Michael Vitton and Page in a striking match. That is just the actual facts of his career. Every person he has fought on the feet, he has resoundingly done. defeated. Kevin Holland could do nothing to him. And Kevin Holland is a perfectly adequate
Starting point is 00:26:28 striker. Wouldn't say he's a greatest strike in the world, very good. Ian Gary is a very good striker and talks a lot about his ability to grapple. We have yet to really see too much of that, and we have seen Ian Gary get buzzed by lesser strikers. The manner that MVP fights in is so disjointing, so upending for people. They can't figure out how to deal with it at first. And by the time they start to build the game plan. He's already doing something different. He's leaping in, he's leaping out. It's just a really tough style matchup for most people to deal with. And I think people underrate him because his level of competition has been so poor and sure he's a little old, but I think he and Gary's just not going to find him. He's just not going to be able to land
Starting point is 00:27:12 enough strikes. And it might not be the most fun fight to watch, but you're going to watch a lot of Michael Venham Page doing karate jumping, pop, pop, I'm out, moving away. And he and Gary, will be increasingly frustrated as this fight goes on. God, that was a brilliant breakdown, man. I mean, I can give you all the credit in the world for doing that. I am on the other side for this simple reason. So far, I've backed Ian Gary in every one of his UFC fights. It's good.
Starting point is 00:27:38 Has that worked out? It's worked out pretty good, man. Would you say that's been going well? Worked out pretty good. Yeah, he's yet to lose. There's been some scares along the way, whether he's a parlay piece, whether he's a straight money line. Yeah, I've been back in Ian Gary.
Starting point is 00:27:52 Love MVP. Love MVP. I don't know who hates him, and I've met him in person. Salt of the Earth guy. Just a great, a great character. Seems like a fun, dude. Just a real, a real nice guy. So yeah, if MVP wins and busts this for me, I'm all right with it.
Starting point is 00:28:09 I'm all right with it. One question before we move on to the prelims. Any concern, any concern at all about Gary's mentality in this fight? He's on, he's talking to area yesterday in the air hour, and I thought he would walk back the I'm not interested in this fight, which he's been saying. He's like, no, I still don't care about this fight. I don't care about this fight. I have to send a message, but I don't give a shit about fighting this dude.
Starting point is 00:28:33 Is that concerned? I think that's talk. I think that's all talk. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it's just a rule. It's just a rule seven for seven. Just going to keep rolling along with it.
Starting point is 00:28:43 It continues to pay off. So I think that this is, I understand your arguments. This is the first time in a while that we've been able to use them just straight money line. a lot of a lot of parlay pieces but we'll see I mean big test big test for both these guys it's really just such a great fight I love the matchmaking here I mean it's just like if MVP wins you're going to spring them into the upper half of these rankings and if he and gary wins then it's just like man this this guy is is real deal of holyfield 15 and oh yeah we can really start discussing like how many more wins before this guy is fighting for the world title it wouldn't be
Starting point is 00:29:19 many. Honestly, I think there's an outside chance that the winner of this can sneak into a title fight. If they get in here, they win this. They say something cool on the mic. Because if Leon beats Ballol, he's been talking everybody but Shavkat, clearly just doesn't want to fight Shavcott. And so maybe they let him pick a all-England battle, you know, England versus Ireland
Starting point is 00:29:44 battle. So I think there's a small possibility the winner of this could sneak into a title fight. and absolutely whoever wins this one fight away one fight away love it all right let's roll along to the prelims the feature about of the evening joe piper taking on mark andre barriol right now joe pifer your favorite sitting at minus 298 mark andre barriot plus 240 uh i am on joe pifer as a parlay piece shocking with the uh yeah with the under in the main event um listen i mean i know he's coming off a loss, but he is still super young in this game. I think he's just going to continue to prove. And I actually think losing a decision like that to a vet in Jackermanston is going to be
Starting point is 00:30:26 huge for him. He didn't get sparked out. You know, we don't have to worry about brain damage or anything like that. Like he lost the decision where Jacker Manson showed, you know, the experience, the vet prowess. And I think Pfeiffer learned a thing or two. And I think he bounces back and gets this done. Because also that Hermanson fight, if it was only three rounds, Joe Piper would have got his hand raised. And this one is, in fact, three rounds. I think he gets back in the wind column there. I do think this is a really good bounce back fight for Piper. I expect it, obviously, you to have him as a parley piece.
Starting point is 00:30:58 He's going to be a parley piece for me, but I have one parlay this week, and it's a pretty locked-in parlay that you'll understand as we get to it. So I couldn't, I just, he would have just been an open parlay leg that didn't have anything to pair with. And I will say this, it may be shoe leather tough, man does not get finished very often. So betting a Piper prop was a little, particularly coming off that performance. I don't know what we're going to see from him out there. You know, maybe he'll be a little more measured.
Starting point is 00:31:29 So at the moment, he's not there. If something else you had today was like, hey, this is a great thing to parley him up with. I'd be like, okay, I could be convinced to add him to a parlay, but I got no action right now. Shout out to Pfeiffer, man. Shout out. Be Joe Pfeiffer. Let's keep rolling. Cubs Swanson taking on Andre.
Starting point is 00:31:47 Feeley right now, Andre Feeley, is your favorite minus 245. Cubs Swanson coming back at plus 200. Man, can Cubs Swanson get this done at 41 years of age? Almost 41 years of age. I'm just, I'm not sure. I don't think he beat Dawoodoo last time out. But then on the flip side of that, it's just like, what Andre Fili are we going to get? Sometimes the guy looks like a world beaters. You never know. Sometimes it looks like the world can beat him. He's on and off. He's hot and cold. I'm just staying away. This could be a very entertaining fight, but just like there's too many question marks around it.
Starting point is 00:32:25 So I'm on Cub, and it's a little bit of a value play because Feeley is so hot and cold, so up and down. And Cubs old, like, it's a nobody mistaken cub for a young man at this point. Andre Feeley got a lot of miles on him. Like, he's looked pretty shopworn in some of these fights.
Starting point is 00:32:44 Obviously, it's also looked really good. and you never know who it's going to be. But you give every time you know what you're getting with Cub Swanson. And I do think he's a crisper boxer. I think he's got a little bit better striking in this fight. And so if I'm just picking straight up, maybe I give the edge to Fili just because it's a little younger, has had better highs lately than Swanson has.
Starting point is 00:33:07 But I'm getting plus 215 on Cub. I think there's a little bit of value there. So I took a shot on it. I love it. I love it, man. That'd be amazing. International Fight Week. Him pull out a dub. Plus, it's important to remember there's a man out there who's been picking a beef with Cub Swanson, kind of out of nowhere, Mr. Joaquin Buckley. And Buckley's been outside of the cage, the only thing Buckley's been doing is taking L's. So it would kind of fit the narrative for Cub Swanson
Starting point is 00:33:40 to come out here and beat Andre Feely. So, Waukemey just looks even dumb. He wins, calls out walking Buckley, you know, move up from 135 to maybe they can meet at 170. Yeah, I think it'd be really good for Cub. I like it. I think he's got a chance, you know. Also, Cub Swanson, just this is badness. Win loss, win loss, win. Oh, yeah, he, he's...
Starting point is 00:34:09 Oh, no, I'm sorry, actually typologies fooled me. One of those was a grappling match. We're not on the bad. Not bad. Topsy Terfee. Four and two in his last six. Four and two is the last six. He's trying to go to five and two in his last seven. Sorry about that.
Starting point is 00:34:21 Sorry about the scare there. Touched bullet. All right. We keep it rolling. Charles Jordane taking on Jean Silva. Right now, Charles Jordane, your favorite minus 120, John Silva plus 100. I will take the lead on this one.
Starting point is 00:34:34 I think this is a little bit of recency bias here, man. Jordane did not look great against Sean Woodson. I can recognize that. Sean Woodson is also a six-three rangey striker. He now goes to a. five, seven guy. And quite good. Quite good. Who sort of just looks for the big shot. Jordane
Starting point is 00:34:50 is well-rounded. He has fought the much, much better level of competition. He's got far more experience, despite them being about the same age. He's also never been K-O'd, which I think will come in handy in this matchup being that tough. And he's got the third round. Third round, Jordan. Shout out. He's got the third
Starting point is 00:35:06 round. I don't know if you know this, though. Charles Jordan. Yes. From Canada. More importantly, Montreal, Quebec. And what did we celebrate yesterday? St. John Baptiste, Quebec Day. A proper Quebecer is not going to lose on the week of SJB Day. Charles Reda, money.
Starting point is 00:35:27 I mean, you know where I'm going, and let me just give you the bad side of your bet, Connor. Oh, God. John Silva, he's a big pause and a puppy contender series prospect. I'm done. They're nine and one this year. Carly Judeease is the sole loss in this. category and you and I both thought she won the fight. Thought it thought she wanted.
Starting point is 00:35:48 She put on a hell of a performance. A hell of a performance. It was tough for us. It was tough for us because we're there. And, you know, I knew going in that that was a hard fight. Thoughts you won. I think we should be 10.0. John Silva already done a little bit of work in this regard.
Starting point is 00:36:05 And the same way that you are just backing Ian Gary, this has never let you down. The big pause, they're not letting me down. And I'm going to keep going on it. And so I don't have him straight because I've actually parlayed him up with the other big paws on a puppy prospect from my most recent season of contingency's breakdown in our next fight, Peyton Talbot, who is the biggest favor on the card, a monster, like one of the biggest favorites. Minus 1600. Let's just jump right into it. Minus 1600, Peyton Talbot.
Starting point is 00:36:34 So the plus 100 wasn't good enough on John Silver. You had to add a minus 1600. It would have been, but then I was like, well, I just, it's a gimmick. I got to parlay these two together. I would never put Talbot in a other parlay at minus 1,600. There's just nothing to do there. It's like, I'll just tie him together. It's functionally just a parlay on John Silva.
Starting point is 00:36:55 Because Peyton Talbot is going to win this. He is. If I have one regret about my continued series breakdown, I liked Talbot, but I didn't, I didn't commit. I think he might be the best prospect off of this most recent season. This kid's amazing. Here's what I'm doing with the Peyton Talbot fight. zero first round finishes for Peyton Talbot.
Starting point is 00:37:14 Think he's getting a little, a little overhyped, a little out in front of the skis at minus 1600. I mean, that's a huge number. A huge. That is like lock, lock, lock, minus 1600. Like Georgia is like minus 1600 in football against like old miss or something. Like it's like not even that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:33 Not even that. Like it's like against like Kentucky, they're minus 1600. Like it's just like you are very, very confident the team is going to win if they were minus 1600. Round two plus 285, round three plus 650. Zero first round finishes ever for Peyton Talbot. Ghamori, like, I think he can hang around for five minutes. I would agree in general, because Talbot also doesn't force the issue.
Starting point is 00:37:59 He is a much more methodical fighter in that regard. So, Gamori can. Is he, is he, is Gamory? I'm trying to see if Gamari, you know, just falls off. William Gomi fights out. Yeah. I don't hate where you're going here. Are you doing a little, a teaser?
Starting point is 00:38:15 You're putting the two and the three together? Are you just going for one of them? Just, yeah, just a two and a three, sprinkle in each. Like it. Okay, I like it. Support for this show comes from the Audible Original, the downloaded two. Ghosts in the Machine. The Earth only has a few days left.
Starting point is 00:38:36 Roscoe Cudulian and the rest of the Phoenix colony have to re-upload their minds into the quantum computer. computer, but a new threat has arisen that could destroy their stored consciousness forever. Listen to Oscar winner Brendan Fraser reprised his role as Rosco Cudulian in this follow-up to the audible original blockbuster, the downloaded. It's a thought-provoking sci-fi journey where identity, memory, and morality collide. Robert J. Sawyer does it again with this much-anticipated sequel that leaves you asking, What are you willing to lose to save the ones you love?
Starting point is 00:39:11 The downloaded two ghosts in the machine. Available now, only from Audible. With Amex Platinum, $400 in annual credits for travel and dining means you not only satisfy your travel bug, but your taste buds too. That's the powerful backing of Amex. Conditions apply. All right, we roll it along. Michelle Watterson-Gomez taking on Gillian Robertson.
Starting point is 00:39:43 Right now, this line is coming in. Gillian Robertson, your favorite, minus 185. Michelle Waterson plus 154. She opened it plus 225. Yeah, I think, I think Waterson can make this tough. Like, she's had success in the past against wrestlers. She's got a 70% take-down defense. But she's 1 in her last sevens.
Starting point is 00:40:06 I'm not betting there. I'm just staying away. You and I have almost the exact same read. I briefly considered Robertson just because you remember when Jillian Robertson dropped back down to Strawweight for a minute and we were like, oh, is she like the real deal? Yeah, she might, she might have something and then Tabitha Ricci just out grapples her and she can't do anything. But then, you know, rebounds again. Pretty much the book, if Robertson has the edge in grappling, she's going to win the fight.
Starting point is 00:40:37 I'm not sure she does. I would guess that she does, you know, if I'm picking straight up, I'll favor Robertson because, you know, Michelle Watson Gomez is a little older, but like you, I think she's got a good chance of being a tough person to take down a better grappler than she gets credit for and probably the better striker. So, yeah, just staying away on this one. Yeah, I played Gomez or Waterson Gomez against Amanda Lemos lost bad. And I want to say I played her against Luana Pinero and lost a splitie there. just done playing there. I'm just, I'll sit back, I'll watch. But yeah, let's roll on. Andre Arlovsky. Still fighting, baby. Taking on Martin. Martin Buc die. Belarus versus Slovakia,
Starting point is 00:41:28 very random matchup here. But right now, Martin Bouda, a monster favorite. Minus 258, Arlowski plus 210. Here's my rule of thumb for this one. I'm not betting on 45-year-old Andre Rolovsky, but I'm also not betting against 45-year-old Andrea Lovsky. Therefore, I'm not betting. I mean, this might be the final ride of the goat. Every time Andre Rolowski makes his walk to the cage, could be the last one, you know. Could be. 45 years old.
Starting point is 00:42:00 It definitely could be. 45 years old. And I guess I said this on a number of other programs. Man is doing something that we're never going to see again. Never going to see again. This is his 42nd walk to the octagon. That's so ridiculous. As a heavyweight.
Starting point is 00:42:21 He is two behind Jim Miller. He is number two all time. He has four more fights in the UFC than Donald Seroni. He has, I'm not looking at the exact number right now. I honestly think he's like 14 fights ahead of the next highest fight for heavyweight, which is the same for light heavyweight and middleweight. nobody is ever going to do what we are seeing again. The longevity in a weight class where everybody can knock everybody out,
Starting point is 00:42:52 42 walks, over six and a half hours of octagon time, this man has as a heavy weight. You may not respect that in the same way you do being John Jones and William, but I'm telling you there are more people who have defended about six times, then there are dudes who have made 40 plus walks in the octagon. We are never going to see this again. I love Andrea Olavski with my whole chest. This is going to be a terrible fight because it's Andreelowski at age 45 versus Martin Boudai.
Starting point is 00:43:29 But I am, if this is the last time, I'm going to support my boy on his last walk. I hope it's not. I hope he goes until 50. He seems like he kind of might want to. I hope he goes still 50, too. I mean, like, this guy made his UFC debut on U. UFC 28 in 2000. This is fourth decade of fighting.
Starting point is 00:43:48 He's been fighting since 99, Connor. If I'm not mistaken, he didn't Dana like take over at like UFC 30 or something? 32. So he has been in the UFC longer than Dana White has. He is, his entire career will never get the respect that deserves from casual fans. But this man is on.
Starting point is 00:44:10 Champ. Champ. He was a champion. and he has records that no one's like i'm not kidding there will never be a heavyweight who fights more than hondrellowsky has this is cal ripkin iron man shit that can't be touched i hope he goes in there and i hope he beats martin boudai and honestly kind of can like it won't shock me if he loses he's 45 but i'm not like an offensive dynamo uh even though he's old i would still sara lowski's a little bit more athletic and
Starting point is 00:44:42 And the guys Rolovsky has beaten lately kind of look a little bit like Marim Badai, you know. So I'm back at my boy. I hope he keeps walking. But if this is the last one, I'm for sure going to throw my money behind my guy. The goat. Let's go. The streets will not forget that four-fight win streak. The six of seven against Felipe Linz, Tanner, Bozer, Chase Sherman, Carlos Felipe, Jared Van derrick, Jake Collier.
Starting point is 00:45:07 just that Chase Sherman Carlos Felipe Jared Van dera Jake Collier winning streak was the four horsemen of the heavyweight division. And Martin Boudai is just those people only the next generation of it. So why can't Andrei Alowski clinch his way to a split decision victory? Let's go, Andre. We'll be cheering you on heavy. It's also my last bet on the card, Connor.
Starting point is 00:45:31 Though I may add one with this next fight we're going to talk about. Yeah, Carlos Hernandez, Ray Surrub. Right now, Ray is a minus 500 coming off a road to UFC debutante. And I know we've seen a lot of success from Rinyanakamura, taking essentially the same path, massive favorite coming off a road to UFC, now finds himself at either three or two and in the UFC, but I don't know. I just, I'm not pressed to go bet a guy coming off road to UFC, minus 500 against a guy that has wins at the UFC level.
Starting point is 00:46:03 So I'm just staying away. So that's where I settled on. I am strongly considering adding a race Suruia, Joe Pfeiffer Parley. Okay. I really like Saruya. I mean, this dude is a stud. He is super young, but like he's got international wrestling experience. He was junior Olympian, was at the cadet world championships for Greco.
Starting point is 00:46:30 Like he is as a youth wrestler, as good as it gets really for amateur. coming into the sport in general and then transition to MMA and has, you know, 9 and 0 has looked very, very strong. I feel a little bit bad for Carlos Hernandez. This man goes from fighting the Japanese super prospect
Starting point is 00:46:50 in Tatsuo Tira to the next Japanese super prospect in Ray Saruio? Like it is, they've not given Carlos Hernandez an easy out. I think Ray's going to get this done. The reason I didn't is because he is so young, 9 and 0.
Starting point is 00:47:05 it's a big number but by fight time maybe if the numbers move i might talk myself into a serrulli i love it i love it let's go to the last fight of the night first last fight we're going to talk about first fight of the night ricky simone taking on venetius lock dog olivera uh right now rickie simone your favorite minus 218 lock dog plus 180 kind of feel like lock dog's gonna be the darling dog after that unbelievable knee knockout he had just a few months ago. Oh man, just like, SOPA was dog tired. He was completely out of gas in a fight that was 1919. Going into round three, Ricky Simone is not going to be tired like that.
Starting point is 00:47:48 He's going to go hard all 15 minutes. He's fought the better brand of competition. He can spam takedowns as well. That's really what he does best. So yeah, I think Simone gets it done. Probably not going to get to the window to best. I bet him at minus 220 though. Yeah, again, I'm with you on it.
Starting point is 00:48:08 I don't have a bet here because there was a time where I was like, ooh, Simone might be putting it together. And then he immediately lost his next two fights. And I was like, well. Simone is Jake Matthews Jr. Kind of. I was in person. I watched Ricky Simone, Jack Shore, broke my heart on my guy, Jack Shore.
Starting point is 00:48:28 But the performance from Ricky Simone there was so impressive. I was like, This guy is unstoppable. Benham, his last two fights, he lost both of them. Yeah, I mean, I was just like, the way he slammed Jack Shore and just echoed through the arena, I was just like, this dude is vicious. So yeah. Yeah, man. The Jack Shore fight sold me.
Starting point is 00:48:50 He was moving at like 1.5 speed compared to Shore. I was like he's so athletic. This is unbelievable. This guy is just putting it together. He's going to be there. and Songye Dong told, you know, whoops him and Mario Batista whoops him. And it's just like, all right, you're, you are in the Jake Matthews all stars of guys I got too high on. And now I can't trust, can't trust at all.
Starting point is 00:49:14 So particularly against, like you said, probably the darling dog of the week, I didn't want any part of this one. So I'm out. I'm out. Right. Like this could be something that looks pretty good, but like Oliverican in this fight at any time. Dude's been to two decisions in 23 fights. Like, he has high-level finishing capability. So, yeah, that's the card, man.
Starting point is 00:49:36 303. Nice and easy. Tight. Got through it. International Fight Week. I love it. I mean, and it's just going to be a good fight week. Maybe it doesn't live up to what we had hoped, but it's still, it's going to be a damn good fight week.
Starting point is 00:49:51 And I'm excited, you know. Saudi was pretty fun. Obviously, Vegas 93, no one cared about. 302 we were all pumped for the pourier this feels like the card uh of the summer to me like this is this is the card of the summer oh give me 304 304 i'm so excited for just because it's got my guys on it that's i mean you say that now but 304 is that's a while away a lot of things can happen as we saw with 303 true very true this fight card two weeks ago were very different than what we got right now tom aspinall and arnold out on that card that is uh
Starting point is 00:50:27 It'll be fun. It'll be really fun. I'm going to need that one. So that's that, man. I got keeping it tight, the Georgian Hope. I was inspired. I'll be wearing my red and black on Saturday. Roman DeLiice added him.
Starting point is 00:50:41 Ian Gary, Charles Jordane. And then some sprinkles on Peyton Talbot 2 and 3. And then the Joe Pfeiffer main event does not go to a decision. Palais. Pereira Lopez DeLi, MBS. MVP Cubs Watson, Andre Rolowski, and then the big pause, Paul Lai, John Silva,
Starting point is 00:51:04 Peyton Talbot, we're cooking. And hopefully I don't lose too much money. I'm anticipating losing money this week. Hopefully I stay in the black at least. Aiken, can Andre Lovsky keep this thing close enough? What's the points spread on this guy? This point spread has to be the three and a half.
Starting point is 00:51:23 Of course it's three and a half. Yeah. Minus 145. I mean, that's probably better than my Andre straight up bet. Andre can just clinch his way to winning a garbage round, if nothing else. What I really worry is that Boudai is just going to clinch his way to a boring-ass victory. I mean, he's just big and throws that strength around. Let me tell you, we considered this fight for the return of heavyweight overs, but the price isn't even good.
Starting point is 00:51:55 I know. Andre Arlowski also I forgot that he got knocked out by Donthel Mays. That wasn't It wasn't the finest thing that's ever happened. All right, that's 303 Back in two weeks. I didn't even honestly look.
Starting point is 00:52:13 You have seen Denver? Because there's not a July 4th card is there. Yeah, I think we're back in. You're right, so it's Denver. Barber Nama Yunus. Barber Nama Yunus. See you then. Love y'all.
