My name is Siyaya, and I live in the most beautiful place on Earth.
Seven months ago, I blew up my life, and a lot has shifted since then.
Everyone is moving forward. I'm still working on that.
And that's me. Welcome to Ice Cove.
Where are the penguins?
That's Antarctica. We're the other one.
North of North, stream all episodes, available on CBCJem.
All right, Mike Heck here from MMA fighting, and my good friend Jed Mishu is here with me as well,
because Jed, the day has finally arrived.
It's App Day, the all-new SB Nation app.
It's live now.
It's live, Jed.
It's alive.
Yeah, man, I'm really excited.
And it's awesome, man.
Combat sports, like all sports, but combat sports fan especially, you guys are going to have your voices heard like never before within SB Nation.
MMA boxing, not me, but you pro wrestling, Mike.
It's, it is a community-based app.
It's all about community with the USB Nation app.
It's so easy to use and it can keep, obviously,
combat sports fans connected to their favorite teams and all of sports too
across the board.
So I can keep up with the Red Sox, the Celtics, the Patriots and the Bruins all on my phone.
And it's so simple to use.
Yeah, like you, you mentioned those teams, but there's so much more because I don't care
about Boston sports, Mike, but I get to follow the NFL, all the other sport, F1,
the various sports that I care about.
outside of combat sports.
And then there's the live experience because that's, to me, that's one of the coolest things.
You can chat with us during fight cards every Saturday.
And you can chat with other people in the communities as big events are happening.
So it's, it's a really good time.
So ladies and gentlemen, come fight with us over on the all new SB Nation app.
Download it today.
Download it right now.
What are you waiting for?
Download it.
Well, hello there, everybody.
And welcome to a brand new edition of On to the next one.
The matchmaking crowns are back following UFC 332 in Squash Lake City.
Fun card if you watched it.
A lot of people didn't, but it was understandable.
But if you did watch it, you had a darn good time.
As we told you throughout the build to this event,
if you stayed home on a Saturday night and we're going to watch some fights,
you were going to have yourself some fun.
And I think everybody who watched it had some fun.
Are we going to be talking about this event at the end of the year?
No, absolutely not.
But it was still a good time.
And that's really all that matters.
But come tomorrow, we're going to be on to the apex very quickly.
And then we're going to be on to Edmonton.
And then we're going to be on to UFC 333, which is an absolute heater of a fight card all the way through MSG.
And then I think right around Thanksgiving, we finally get a reprieve at least one week off from.
from UFC action, but 332 is a lot of fun.
And I am Mike Heck.
And joining me to do some matchmaking on this Sunday
is the one and only Prince of positivity, Alexander Kaylee,
the co-host and the co-matchmaker.
How are you, my friend?
Man, I'm good.
I had a little bit of gastrointestinal issue overnight
after we wrapped all of our 332 coverage.
Guys, don't eat a Burger King.
Okay, this is my, I hope Burk King is not one of our sponsors
because I don't want to blame them,
fully. I'm just saying I had some Burger King for the first time in a while. Not coincidentally,
I don't know, something happened to my stomach. And it is a miracle, guys. There's a miracle that
I'm even here. But yeah, I'm feeling good after that card. I'm glad we're all staying positive,
Mike. I will say, because I saw people coming after you and coming after the media in general.
Truly the funniest stuff I've ever heard in my life.
You haven't replied to some Jumok, more than one probably Jumok on social media. It was fun. It was
fun. It was fun. We're not going to tell people. It's cool seeing people get like,
chaotic. Sorry, my lighting is weird, isn't it? Okay. It's cool seeing people chaos. It's cool
seeing young prospects get to like, you know, be booked in squash matches. We've said this all
year. We've said this all year. Like regardless of card quality, we understand the signs behind
the matchmaking and we've had a lot of cards where guys that the UFC are pushing, guys and
and gals, the UFC's in pushing, get like put on highlight real performances. And that's cool.
That is how you build stars. I'm not going to like go through rose-colored glasses and say,
every fight in the old UFC days, like in the 2000s was like all like, oh, competitive back and forth battles.
No, you had squash matches back then too.
There was a little stretch in the middle, I think, where as the UFC was becoming more mainstream, like more legitimate,
where I think you got a lot of cards where they felt, and also the roster was like in the right place.
So you got a lot of cards where it was mostly named people, mostly in, you know, competitive matchups.
And sometimes those matches were delivered, sometimes they'd be kind of disappointing.
We are far from that now.
Now we are definitely in the age of let's see who we can put it.
in there, especially if it's just getting some of our guys on the card.
Jacobi Smith, literally his fight was put together, as far as we know, like 10 days before
the card.
Anthony wins his third fight in, I think, some like 50 days.
So they're trying to give people opportunities, and that's great.
I just don't want fans to mistake excitement and finishes for great card quality.
It's not the same thing, because if that's your argument, like if your argument is, oh, well,
there's so many finishes.
it's a great card.
Guys, there are dozens of other regional and international events every month where like 80% of the event is finishes.
And so and by that metric, you're saying, oh, well, all these cards are amazing.
And they are like they're fun.
Like I'm not, I'm not yucking on that yam either.
But at the same time, are you saying that those cards are as because of the UFC just because they have finishes and vice versa, that the UFC is so great.
So all I'm saying is I'm being a little of buzzkill.
I don't know why, Mike.
I know I shouldn't be because it was like a fun.
No, you're not being a buzzkill.
You're not.
Like, all we ask, all we ask with all of this AK, and I think you agree with us, is that just be honest with us.
Just tell us the truth.
Like, you don't need to victory lap after this card.
You pulled four or five dudes off the couch, off the regional scene to get dusted yesterday.
Like, all of those fights are going to be finishes.
There was outside of, and by the way, in my eyes, Roman Cox,
Populoff winning was not a shocker.
I picked him to win.
Look at our staff picks.
I picked him to win that fight.
I had a bet on him to win that fight.
I was very confident he was going to win that fight.
So in my eyes, nothing surprised me last night.
One bit.
Nothing.
Nothing surprised me.
There was one underdog win yesterday.
Just one.
And it was Roman.
That was it.
Nothing was a shocking result yesterday.
For Daniel Cormier,
to go on and talk on the post-fight show
that this was like a Mount Rushmoreish,
all-time great event is it's laughable.
It's laughable.
This event will not even go down as a top 10 of the year.
Of the year.
If we're going by like,
if we're going by that, like, just off the top of my mind,
White House, 331, both way better.
I mean, way better.
We're still talking about 331.
329, 328,
327, 324.
All better than this one.
Not to mention the fight night cards
that were spectacular.
Seattle was super good.
Sacramento was super good.
Serbia was super good.
Especially if we're going off of,
well, if every fight's a finish,
it's the greatest card of all time.
Serbia was better than this one.
Like, it was better.
We got Euros Medich.
People cared.
He got the star.
action. Like that was better than this event. Like just stop with it. Just stop with it. Be like,
hey, was this the most star powered lineup we've ever given you? No. But did these fighters deliver?
They sure did. And that's okay. Like, you could just say that and people were like, all right, cool.
No one's going to be mad at that. But to sit there and tell the newer fans that this is the
great event in UFC history is bananas to me. It's crazy. Like, we can just have a good time.
and move on to the next card.
Like, that's all this is.
You don't see this in any other sport, A.K.
And that's what's so strange about it.
Like, you know, the Red Sox Yankees here.
Like, you're not, you're not listening to the major league.
You don't listen to David Ortiz on the TBS desk being like,
oh, the fans said this matchup was going to suck.
And we went five games.
Like, no one's saying that.
Just relax.
Just, like, take each card for what it is.
Like, to say this is better than 333 on paper is laughable.
like 333 is super interesting
I'm wicked looking forward to that one
yeah but you know what's funny Mike is I bet
33 might not have as many squash matches
that you're going to have some more like actual competitive fights
and the people are going to be like
some people some people oh man this car just got disappointing
I can't believe this fight between two top 10 guys
like went to a decision like oh man we didn't get a finish
332 about all finishes like that's how
messed up we're getting and like
again again this was a good card like I do want to say like
it was it was a fun it was a very fun watch
very fun this continues like
I've said every week, I think the UFC is on a very strong run right now.
At the very least, like, entertaining, like, even if the card quality is poor.
Like, if you tune in, you're like, oh, you had a good time.
I think they, I swear, it's been like 12 straight events where I could say that.
Maybe I'm forgetting one or two that were clunkers.
But I feel like it's been a while since we really had an event where we're just like,
oh, man, that was awful and it wasn't worth your time.
Like, all these events have been fun.
But that's my point about the decisions thing.
I find it so funny because the main event was like, I think most people were pretty
respectful, but I did, obviously the fans in the arena,
a boot a little bit just because it went lost longer than five minutes. And of course,
it's the usual people on like social media who were like, oh, man, like this is a sea. We told
you there shouldn't have been the main event. Like that was one of the better fights on the card.
I know it wasn't a Rockham-Socom robots fight. I'm not saying it's like a fight of the year.
It was a good fight. That was a good competitive between Natalia Silva and Wang Tsong where you saw
technique. You saw swings and momentum. You saw like, you know, close scoring. Like that's also
good MMA. Is it as like instantly satisfying as a huge knockout? No.
I'm not saying that.
I understand.
But I thought that fight wasn't bad.
And actually, I said this in our Slack, if you look at the sort of numbered main events this year, this sadly was like one of the better ones.
We've had like a lot of disappointing numbered main events.
Like this is like, I think top three.
It sounds like your mileage may vary with some of the other ones.
But in general, it's like this wasn't a bad fight.
It just was.
It didn't have an explosive finish.
And of course, again, just the lead up to it.
You know, we all had a little bit of a little bit of a negative vibe going in.
But yeah, it was a good card.
I actually liked the main event.
I liked it.
We had a curse again.
If you watch our watch party,
Jedd and I had a great time watching it.
We had a blast.
Everybody who was in the watch party watching had a blast.
More fun than anybody else watching the fight.
Like,
we had a great time watching it.
Natalia Silva looked really good.
Like,
created one song.
She was tough.
She was tough.
But like skill-wise,
this was like as good as I've seen Natia Silva.
Yeah.
I thought she won all five rounds.
She was really good.
I thought she won all five rounds.
Yeah.
I mean,
people,
maybe there's a little bias there.
You know, hashtag 90 ice.
people don't like that Natty Ice has gotten so over and it's hilarious.
Natty Ice.
They don't like you, Natty Ice.
They don't like you saying Natty Ice.
They're like the worst part of both is the Huxus is going to keep Conner Natty Ice.
I'm like, dude, I'm Conner Natty Ice just you beat the soul out of Jasmine Jasdevisius.
So like, it's, it was a good fight.
It was a good fun watch.
And now we're going to move on.
Like we're going to matchmake for Natalia Silva right now.
You mean Natalia Ice?
Natty Ice.
Natty Ice.
Natty Ice, the new women's flyway
champion. So to close the gap on our soapbox here, it's okay for like, cards can be fun.
Like, it's okay. We told you it was going to be fun. Do we, there's never one show where we said
this, this fight card was not going to be fun. But to compare this to 331 or 324 or White House or
329 or 329 or 328 or 37 or any of those events is hilarious to me. Absolutely hilarious to me.
So let us, let us move on.
let's talk about the good they came from the car.
And there was a lot of good, including Natty Ice.
Natty Ice, the new UFC women's flyway champion.
And you know what this result gave us, A.K., for the first time in weeks, we heard from
Valentina Shifchenko.
She didn't give us any details.
We didn't think she would.
But at least we know she was watching this fight.
And she has acknowledged that she is not championed like for the first time.
And which is kind of good, because I liked the way she did it.
It had me, of course, like the weird brain that I have,
the first thing I saw after seeing her tweet was like,
man, I wonder if Wang Tong won,
would we get the same exact tweet or we'd get something a little saltier?
But she put Natalia over as a rifle champion.
We all understand that she will go down in the history books.
There will be a Natalia, Natty Ice banner in the UFC Rafters as being a champion, right?
She is an official champion.
at the same token, in a world, in a world where Valentina Shavchenko is on this planet,
she's not the real champion.
You cannot call her an undisputed champion.
It's insane.
It's crazy.
Wild.
But good for her, man.
This is a great performance.
Again, I thought you won all five rounds.
She said, I'm not going to wait for Valentina.
But everyone believes Valentina should be next.
She's not the most active fighter.
It's not like she fights all the time.
So like this whole like I'm going to be the active champion thing was like was kind of a head scratcher to me.
So are we just going with Valentina?
Because that's where I'm going.
Yeah, I think she should wait.
I was trying to think like is there a chance where she has to do sort of the Joshua Van thing and like again,
gets to kind of at least create more of a debate about whether she's the actual champion.
Because you know, in our own rankings, I think Jed Mishu right away once Van once Van got the belt had said, yeah, he's number one.
He won fair and square.
Yeah, it was a freak ending.
but, you know, a win as a win, he's number one.
I think the rest of us were a little more reluctant.
Then after the Joshua Van B. Tyra, I don't know if one or two of us might have gone over,
but I think we still have Pentosh in number one.
And then obviously, once the fight actually went down, you know, now it's been undisputed.
So Natty Ice maybe finds herself in a similar situation because, well, the only issue is
who would be an appealing first title challenger.
I mean, we do have Aaron Blanchfield coming up against Jasmine.
theoretically I think one of them
it's a tough fight to sell
but you know the UFC always needs title fights for cards
so yeah I
I think it has to be Valentina
and as far as we know
because we again we didn't hear
like you said like we didn't really get a direct update
from her it was just kind of a oh congrats
you're the champ
first week again first time we'd heard her
addressed the situation at all on social media
I have to hope she's back in like
the first quarter of
2027 that's just my
guess because we still have time on 2026.
I know she's recovered from injuries.
Her coach said back and shoulders, I believe.
You know, that's serious stuff, especially at her age.
You don't want to mess with that.
But if we can get it back in there, you know, February, March the latest.
Natia, I just got to wait, man.
I don't mind who's defending the title.
If she can get in there, get a paycheck, defend the title.
Cool.
Let's just hold out, Valena.
Yeah.
I mean, it's really the only fight that makes sense.
I mean, Grasso has looked really good, but we just watched that fight.
And there's a real world where we get that.
exact same fight again. And that's just not really going to do much for a lot of people. So
yeah, let's do Val. I think we all, I think we have learned through all this. And I know there's
one person in the chat who, you know, is, is the newer fan base and speaks for the newer fan
that's been watching the sport for three or four months that is praising Dana White is the greatest
promoter of all time, which is true, by the way. He is the greatest promoter of all time. They will
defend him to the dines. He is producing Tyson Fury versus
Anthony Joshua, no matter what anybody else says or what a legal document says.
This is a great fight.
And we all know what really happened here.
This is not Valentina being like, I'm out for a year, take my belt.
This is the UFC saying, look, Val, I need you to do us a favor.
Like, just give us the title.
Like, we have to give this crowd a title fight.
It's part of the contract.
So unfortunately, like, you haven't fought in a while and you're not going to be fighting
before the end of the year.
so here you go.
Please,
please give us the belt.
And when you're ready to come back,
like,
we'll give you a shot
of whatever belt you want.
And that's what this was.
We still haven't heard a thing about it.
Like truly nothing.
She doesn't come on and been like,
yeah,
I'm injured.
No.
They said she was out for a year
when they announced her vacating the belt.
Nothing.
Not what I heard.
But let's,
let's see.
Natia is the champion.
We had to do a title fight.
We couldn't do an interim title fight.
Like,
Paul Costa versus Yuri Prahachka,
couldn't have happened on this card.
So,
uh,
there you go.
Let's continue on what,
Wong Tong.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Um,
I agree with Dana where it's just like,
yeah,
I think she's going to go back and rewatch this and be like,
I kind of gave this one away,
even though I was,
it was the exact fight I thought it was going to be.
Um,
she got knocked down a few times in this fight.
Natty grappled a bunch.
And yeah,
man,
I,
again,
the biggest issue I had with,
with this title,
fight was her being in it. Because the UFC again, just to be honest with us, tell us what you're
trying to do. You're trying to do the Pereira Israel thing, Israel-A-Sania thing, where we're having
two people who fought once before fight in the UFC. Just tell us that's what you're doing.
And no one's going to have a problem with it. But the whole event was we have to sell the fan base
on why Wong-Tong is the deserving challenger when there were four other fighters who have earned that
shot before her. But when Wong went forward and like tried to do stuff, she was successful.
She did well. Where are we going here? I'm kind of taking a step back with her. Not a big one.
She's going to fight a ranked fighter. You know what? I'm just going to say it. This is a huge step
up and you might even laugh at this pick, but I don't care. She is green as grass. But I'm just
curious to see how she would do. Regina Taron. Let's go.
Damn, we went very opposite directions, my best friend, very obst directions.
I think, I think, you know, because Wang, I think performed admirably and because the UFC has, you know, listen, they threw her into the title picture.
And once you, like you said, there's different ways you can go with it.
You can just be honest and say like, okay, listen, we threw her into this fight.
I don't know if she was even top 10 going in.
I know in our ranking, she's like the 13th ranked 125 or something.
Yeah.
But, but it does raise you, at least in the eyes of the officials, like to another level of prestige.
She is now, you know, one-time title challenger or recent titles challenger Wang Tsong, right?
So I think they're going to try and keep her there.
Also, she's not a spring chicken, right?
She has a lot of combat sports experience.
She's a slightly older fighter in a division that, you know, I think there's starting to be a youth movement.
So I like the Regina Terrine matchup.
You're right.
Maybe give Regina her chance to, you know, take that night.
number. I do, but I actually think, like, they're going to throw her in there with Menel.
I think men, oh, yeah, I think, because again, I thought Wang fought pretty good.
I, I, I wouldn't, I scored at 48, 47 Silva. I know Lobbill had it 4946 Silva.
You said there could be a case for 50, 45, sure. I also think there's like an outside case for
48, 47 Wong. I would not have gone there. I just don't feel she comfortably want two rounds,
but some of those rounds were really close. But I had it, I, I,
I think the right woman won, thankfully.
I do think Natia's over.
I don't know if I would have called it a robbery,
but it would have been a, I have to rewatch this.
I had to rewatch this.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I won't go that far.
There was a couple of rounds that were just two.
I think the action was too indecisive.
I don't think Wang was getting enough credit for someone like her power.
Like I said, when she comes forward,
she was landing some of the more substantial shots of the fight.
I thought, I thought.
Anyway, I think they view Wang as a legitimate contender and sort of in her prime, right?
If they want to use her to develop other talent, cool.
Virginia and Shereen makes a lot of sense.
If they want a co-main event or a main event for some roadshow or even an apex card,
I think they go her and feel a role.
Yeah, I mean, they'll probably end up doing that.
Like, I'm just looking at my rankings right now.
Wong is two spots above Toreen in my rankings, two.
And that was before this fight.
I had Trina 15.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
At 13.
Yeah, yeah.
I have Toreen at 18.
I have Wong at 13.
Yeah, you're right.
It's not crazy.
Yeah. Casey O'Neill honestly, like, would have been my choice if I didn't give the Casey O'Neill,
what's her face, Macy Barber fight. Like, that was the one I already went with. So like,
I already matched me for Casey. And I actually love the idea of Casey O'Neal fighting Wang Tong at some point. Like, that fight's could be super fun. But yeah, let's give Tarina a shot, man. She loses. So what? She's young. But,
and the biggest reason why I'm doing this is because Wang Tong is not 25 years old. She's 34. Like, she's not, she doesn't have a ton of
the time left in this world. So, you know, this, if she goes out beats a prospect that we can
start talking about maybe a Grasso fight or something like, maybe a midon fight. And then if she wins
that, boom, there we go. And if Turin goes out there and beats someone who just fought for the
belt, like, it's a big deal. It's a big win. There you go. Let's go to Peyton Talbot,
AK. I don't, I don't know what we have here.
I don't know what we have here.
He's obviously very talented.
He's very big for the division.
He fought Hione Barre...
Like, it was not that long ago that Hione Barcellos
put the boots to him,
like just really wailed on him
and won a clear decision.
And then he came back and beat Felipe Lima,
which I thought still to this day is his best performance
and his best win.
I was like, wow, this is a really risky comeback fight
after the Barcellus fight.
He looked fantastic in that fight.
Then they gave him the ghost of Henry Sehudo,
and then they gave him the ghost ghost of Davis and Figurato yesterday.
He had zero chance of losing either of those fights.
But at least he did what he needed to do last night.
He just kind of put Figgy out to pasture.
It was sad to watch, honestly.
But considering the weak Figgy had, media-wise, was not great.
There was only one way this fight was going to go.
He called out Sean O'Malley.
I love the fight.
I love the idea.
There's just no world
where Sean's going to get off
for that fight and be like,
yes, not going to do that.
Which is kind of annoying
that this is sort of what we deal with
in today's UFC.
So I'm going Corey Sanhagen here.
Okay.
I'm going Corey Sanhagen
because Sean O'Malley's fighting,
he's fighting Peter Yon,
no matter what happens in three weeks time.
Yon wins the belt.
I know a lot of people
are going to hate to hear this,
but Sean O'Malley is going to fight for the belt.
and if Jan loses, that's still a big rematch to do Sean O'Malley versus Peotryan too.
So while Marab goes and fights Song Yidong.
So I like Taaba versus Corey Sandhagan and we'll see how he does.
Yeah, I think I used Corey's name recently.
So I think that's why I'm not going there, though I do think that's a great fight.
I think there's like the only, like the only reason I would say O'Malley would take the fight.
And it doesn't make sense now in the next few months.
He is set as to be a backup.
He has set to fight Peirder Yan.
Like I totally agree with that.
when lose or draw. But at some point in the future, like, I think Talva could get that
fight because I think O'Malley would want to catch him at before, you know, he reaches
his full potential. Because kind of touch upon what you said at the beginning, Mike, like,
I don't know what we have with him, but I'll tell you, I'm not fully sold. Like, I like him.
I think like cool personality, unique, you know, definitely stands apart in this very crowded
combat sports space where a lot of people are kind of have the same approach to their microphone
work and marketing themselves. He's very different. He's very different. He's
very different. Mileage may vary, but indisputably, he is different. He also passed the eye test,
like when you just watch him fight, even like I said, even against Suhudo, even against Figgie,
like, you know, if you're just like watching, you're like, oh, this is a guy, you could see the vision.
You can see why he so highly praised the striker. You can see the improvements in the grappling.
Still a long ways to go there, but certainly improvements in the grappling. You can see the
athleticism, all that stuff. But I agree that I just, I'm not convinced by him beating two
considerably older fighters who are flyweight.
Let's be honest.
These guys are really ideally flyways.
They're both smaller than him.
And both not in prime form.
Sehudo didn't win a fight in his second run with the UFC.
And Figgi was, this is four straight law.
He looked terrible in Sanganaanah fight.
Absolutely terrible.
It's just lifeless.
Even the Montel Jackson win was just like regrettable.
The Umar fight was awful.
Horrible.
Horrible.
So I'm just not sold.
And I'm not saying he can't be a future title contender.
I'm not saying he can't be a future champion.
in all the tools, but I want to see it a little more of a slow roll.
So I'm actually going back, Mike.
I'm going to Marcus McGee, who also fought on this card.
Oh, wow.
Okay.
Another older fighter with a little more experience.
Name-wise, obviously a big step back from Biggie, a big step back from Suhudo.
But I don't think we need to keep pushing, like, I think they need to be careful with Talbot.
I don't think because he beat these former champions who like I said are not in their peak
form that we need to like put him into these really, really dangerous like top seven,
top eight matchups.
I think if anything, let's let him keep getting wins.
And there's not a lock for a win.
And Marks McKee is tough as hell, very dangerous fight.
But I think it's a good experience for him either way.
So, you know, I kind of cheated because McGee fought on this card and just match those guys up.
But I'd like to see it.
Oh, I'll be cheating a little bit on this as well as further we get along.
Who would you pick right now?
If they did Peyton Talba versus David Martinez, who would you pick?
Oh, David Martinez.
Oh, interesting.
I would.
Okay.
You would have, what would you line that fight at?
how I would line it or how I think it would be like because
Pat,
Talbot would be favorite. Oh, I would have, I would have Martinez like minus 150, something like that.
Oh, interesting. Okay. See, I really like that fight.
Didn't even really think about it. And then the UFC dropped the bombshell on us yesterday,
which was not any of the two title, any of the two big fights they announced with 335 because we had known this forever.
I had this pre-written for like a week. But I was not ready for Bo Nickel versus Joe Piper.
And I was like, that is sick-ass matchmaking. I love.
that fight. That's one of my favorite fights announced of the whole year because it's just so out of
nowhere. And if you could have matched made for any for either of those two guys, Pfeiffer and or
nickel would not have been in the top 10 of like anybody's of anybody's world, which I,
which is why I love this fight. So I like to, dude, Talbot's kind of got it all like checking
of the boxes. But again, like we've, the problem is we've learned. And this is kind of like
the good and sort of the bad of the card yesterday is like we didn't learn anything from
Peyton Talby yesterday and like at least with Sanhagen we're going to learn something and even
I guess to some degree Marcus Begui we're going to learn something so yeah I'm looking forward
to seeing him fight somebody like somebody that's not on the 17th hole of their career if that
makes sense but everything he's done he's done what he's supposed to do so certainly a guy to get
excited about and certainly one of the top prospects.
Let's go to the best division in the sports, the UFC lightweight division,
AK Esteban Riebevich.
Is it the lightweight division, Mike?
Oh.
Is it, is it, it was this a lightweight division fight, Mike?
Was this a lightweight division?
Let's go to the catchweight division of 156.5 pounds where Esteban Riebovich stops King
Green.
Uh, King Green's still really pissed about the stoppage.
as somebody even had a bet on king green i tried to fight through it and be like yeah it's an early
stoppage but even i was like yeah you got brutally dropped three times in a matter of 20 seconds i think
enough is enough poor herb dean just can't win even when he makes the right call yeah i had i had
had no major issue with this one honestly uh no i didn't either yeah i didn't either i thought he could
have stopped it earlier yeah that wasn't bad i didn't think that's bad at all but he goes and gets the
win aka did you even matchmake for him no
I refuse. I refuse. Big strike through on my document here. He didn't make weight. He didn't make weight. He said he blamed air conditioning, Mike. He said he told Jose. He told Jose, he told him, he told him
fighting as Jose Young is that oh they turn on the air conditioning in the workout room or I guess he must
have been like probably had the sauna suit on or and or probably just like jogging whatever whatever they do
you know in the the pre this was Thursday evening so not not the Friday morning cut and he's like yeah
so it kind of like killed our cut because I just couldn't sweat anymore I'm like it's not an excuse I'm
sorry it's not an excuse there's got to be away and if that's that's what caused you to lose out on
you know X amount of your purse and also what would have been a $25,000 like mandatory bonus
for a finish that's tough man you got to figure that I can't blame AC for the
that. I like Ashtamon Rebo, it's a lot.
I'm the guy's so exciting. I think he's a good personality too.
I just, uh, no, man. I'm not, I'm not matchmaking.
Uh, giving him Tofik Moussiaf and we're moving on.
Love it.
We're moving on. Uh, we're not going to reward him. That's tough. That's a tough one.
Let's move on to Roberta sold D.J.K. made his UFC debut.
Got the win. Had a shaky start. I think that's a fair thing to say.
But then boy, when round two started, he got.
cooking. He was running downhill real fast. And he hurt Chaos Williams multiple times.
I thought he could have got the finish. I thought he could have finished this fight,
but did not happen. Solishe was happy to just go out there and get the win in good form.
He hadn't fought for super long. And he fought a guy that is really tough to kill out there
in Chaos Williams. So solid BB plus performance from Roberto Solich in my opinion. Jed
nailed it on, I believe was on the post show.
maybe it was on the watch party.
Actually, I think he nailed it on the watch party.
Daniel Rodriguez.
Okay.
Daniel Rodriguez's main event of a fight night card.
Yeah, probably break some more finish records on that card.
Yeah, another hard chin guy.
Shout out to chaos.
Yeah, he's really tough.
He's never been knocked out.
Never been.
I don't think he's ever been knocked down.
Was he not?
I don't think he got knocked down in this fight either.
He got, like, rocked.
I don't think he ever actually, like, touched the map, if I'm not mistaken.
Yeah, I don't know.
You might be right.
That's crazy.
We had like two of the all-time great chins on this card, him and Vitori.
You know what I mean?
I don't know what it takes to because both him and Vitori were eating like clean headshots,
just clean headshots.
And I'm like, how are you?
Especially from Saldi-Chash, I was like, how are you not going down?
Chaos?
You are crazy.
So because I had two around two at 10-8 and with no knockdown just because chaos wasn't
impossible to knock down.
Like I think so many other fighters who have been knocked out.
But he made the mistake, Mike, I'm not fighting in May.
He made the mistake about fighting in May.
That's true.
That's true.
This was my lock of the.
the night guys, I put what little like money I had left my fan duel on this fight.
All of it.
Of course it cashed because he doesn't win outside of May.
He only wins in May.
Chaos Williams.
Stop fighting outside of me.
I'm sorry.
I know that means you can only fight once a year, but you know what?
Maybe try and squeeze that in a short notice fight.
Okay, next year.
Stop fighting outside of me.
You cannot win outside of May.
There's a fact.
It's a fact.
This was one of the toughest picture of me, Mike, because we know how good sold each is.
Right?
But like, man, that, oh, what was it?
three years with one of five years five years right like five years three fights one of my my
three years three fights yeah um that was brutal i love i love watching robert or sold each in ks w and
like what a waste of his no 2021 was his last fight with ks w yeah that's when the free agency
began damn and then he was with one until about 2025 end of 2025 that's a man who uh
went for the bag no doubt about it and good for i dude i hope he was so well
competitive because he fought three times since 2021.
Yeah.
Until this UFC debut.
That sucks, man.
One of them was no contest.
I was so brutal.
His only win was against, I mean, I don't remember this opponent, if I'm being honest.
So it was so good to see him back in action.
But where do you, like, rank him?
Because I think I haven't, like, properly updated my rankings.
I think I still have him.
It's like, just in the UFC.
I think he's like top 20.
Is that, is that not fair to some of the names that have been putting a work on the UFC?
Um, no, I think he's top 20.
I think so.
I think he's around there.
But I mean, but again, like he's such a wild card.
He is.
Is he going to stay at Welterweight?
Is he going to go fight at 185?
Maybe.
I don't really know.
That's the problem.
So like, when I rank him, what I rank him above like walking Buckley, I would pick him
to be walking Buckley, but like, can I rank his, you know, based on level of competition and
his resume over the last five years?
Can I rank him above walking Buckley?
Would I pick him to beat Leon Edwards?
Of course I'd pick him to beat Leon Edwards right now.
But like his best win in all these years is Chaos Williams.
So like it's hard to it's hard to place him right now.
But I think it's more than fair to call him a top 20 wealth rate.
I think so.
I'm probably overdoing it a little.
It's funny you mentioned the Buckley Malat match.
I almost said to kick us the winner of that.
But I just don't think that they're going to, you know, listen,
Malas are Canadian golden boy.
I just don't think they want to put him in there with Soleditch for no reason.
However, there is a guy who keeps winning fights.
It's super exciting.
I just don't know if he fits into their plans, like their long-term plans.
I like him and maybe Euros Medici after I'm picking Medici to beat Kevin Holland,
USC 334.
And maybe that's the direction they go.
I just feel like Medici is a little bit in limbo.
I think I had this problem after his USC Serbia main event went to.
I can't remember who I tried to throw him in there with.
But I just don't know if they're in a rush to put him against a top.
six top seven guy which sucks because i'd like to see medeage get that opportunity um but i think
he has mede beats kevin hall and i would love to see him and sold each fight each other yeah i think
they're like i mean i definitely think they're buds oh they took that picture together or something
no was that them was that before before the card yeah but again um i think like after the fight
he went out and saw meditch in the crowd and they embrace like that doesn't mean they can't fight
stab him in the back.
A little, little heel turn.
Betray him, Roberto.
Yes.
A little heel turn.
I love this.
I think you're right.
I forgot about that.
I'm standing by.
I'm standing by.
You're right.
I think it's probably not their first choice.
But listen,
the UFC tells you to go in there.
Sign the contract.
Like, dude, we've seen,
I mean, Colby Covington and Horacea,
like roommates,
they were best buds.
They were doing everything together.
They were cornering each other,
doing YouTube content together.
And then became just what it became.
So you just never know.
Let's go to,
the only man to win is an underdog at UFC 332,
Roman Coppulov.
I was very confident he was going to win.
Did I think he was just going to bulldoze
a Tavik OTA in less than around?
Definitely didn't expect that.
But what a performance from Roman Copulov,
who even though he's exciting AK,
and I know we have advanced the middleweighty,
middleweight moniker into so many,
like it is evolved into this like Godzilla,
a mega thing.
But the middleweight title started as the 16th ranked middleweight.
That was the beginning.
That was the genesis of the middleweighty, middleweight title.
It's like, who is ranked number 16 in the UFC's middleweight rankings if you had to pick one?
So based on that criteria, is Roman Koppulov the middleweighty, middleweight champion right now?
Because I feel like he's like the 16th ranked dude, even though he's a little more fun than the
Christopjokos of the world.
Yeah, I think he has to be.
I have him, well, yeah, I have literally 15.
I have him above Shara, but you could, I guess you could kind of flip them if you want.
I have him above Shara.
Yeah, he's right in that spot.
Very tough test.
You know, listen, good match.
I really like how they've matched me to Riteva.
I know, I know the people who would be like, oh, why did they put him with with Pulaev?
He obviously couldn't finish Pulaev, you know, that made him look bad.
I didn't think that made it look bad.
I think Pulae is pretty tough.
I mean, and we just saw him get finished with Pinas.
So maybe that, you know, now that kind of helps you adjust your middleweight blue chipper rankings.
But I think I think Atab was going to learn from these things.
I still think he's an incredible talent.
I think he's only, what, 24 years old?
So, yeah, you're going to lose to guys like Roman Coppa love sometimes on your way to the top.
It happens.
Yeah, I'm not concerned about it.
I'm going, Edmund Chabazian.
Oh, I love that pick.
Yeah.
Love that pick.
Because I also want to see, because I also think Edmund needs his shot to kind of move up in their rankings, right?
And, yeah, I like Edmund as a person.
prospect and we'll see. I still think there's like hope for him. So I think just Jed convinced me
based on the lulls that we should just do copuloft versus just do everything Damian Pinos has done,
we should just keep following suit. Uh, they gave Damien Pinos, Pinos, uh, Andre Pulaev,
Gote, beat him by decision. Pinas finished him in a round. Let's just give him copulap, man. Like,
I kind of want to see something here. I want to see. And again, and I said this, like if you read our
preview column about this event.
I was like, here's the fight I had the most questions about.
Like, is Gautier like ready, ready right now?
And if he's not, who gives a shit?
He's 24 years old.
Like, you need these.
You need these types of nights.
You need them.
And he'll come back and he'll be better.
Like the dude is incredibly talented.
There are some red flags earlier in the week.
Like him going to, even if you have like technology to help you prepare for this,
it's not the same as actually being there.
The fact that he showed up to Salt Lake City.
like on Fight Week was scary to me.
That was a red flag.
That was a red flag with all the altitude
and trying to get accustomed to all of that.
A little bit of a flag.
And it showed.
And that's why like the confidence in copulop too.
And I just think people underrated copulov.
Dude's fine.
Everybody's fun.
Really good dudes.
He's been competitive
with just about everybody he's fought.
So this is a tough matchup.
So let's see what Piaz can do and go with that.
I'm down with that.
Edmund Chabazzin,
I actually kind of liked for PNOS as well as like a good next test.
But anywhere in that sort of grouping of middleweights, I think makes a lot of sense.
Yeah.
And that's where we are, these guys.
Let's go to the wild card round, AK, and then we're going to go to the peeps.
So if you guys have your matchmaking suggestions, chuck them in.
I think we've friends forever.
And I hope we did.
I hope we did because we do need to, we talked about this on between the links, Mike.
We do need to do a dedication to the late great Dennis Haskins, you know, saved by the bell,
Zach Attack, of course, the song that we have used. That has become the signature song of
onto the next one. So I hope that we can get an organic friends for a moment. If not,
we're going to sing Friends Forever anyway for Mr. Belding. But let's see. Because you
hinted at this earlier, right? That, or did you already do that pick? That, like, you had a
pick that was based on two guys who had already found the card. That was, that was that, or was
that that one right now, Pinas and Coppilov? That was why I just did.
I feel that we might not be Friends Forever here then.
I thought it was like I have so I have a friends forever one because I thought you were going to go the same exact way and then I have like a I have a more like hipster one.
Okay let's let's let's let's count down our friends forever match up though.
Okay the one that I thought would be friends forever with. Yeah yeah. Okay. Okay go three two one Anthony win green.
Robbenzano's nailed it. We know this. We're doing this. We're doing this. We're doing this.
out the same continent.
Yes.
Oh, okay.
I do.
I kind of don't want to see RDA fight again.
No, but he didn't hang him up.
He took the gloves off, but he didn't really get a moment.
They didn't give him the mic.
I don't think he left the gloves in.
I think he's going to get back in there.
And I still want to see him in King Green.
But you're right.
Anthony went, man, what a star.
It's so hard, like, it's so hard for me to explain, like, why I was.
I think everyone was impressed with his promo skills.
But I was, like, more impressed than,
just like I say this all the time when I this one of one of one of this was one of one of
this was like oh he's so charismatic I'm like my issue with Izzy was he's
someone who talks a lot and people confuse that with charisma okay and and he said some
he has some lines okay he's got some lines cool that's all you need in M-A but there's
interesting that and like someone who can cut like a cohesive promo and really
make you believe what they're saying I was so impressed with Wintz he really like
seemed to have his post-wide promo structured and laid out and yet it didn't
feel robotic. It didn't feel like he was like reading off a card. It felt like he had,
you know, made bullet points in his head. I think he nailed them all. Like he said, got a good call
out. The Sean Shraf callout makes a lot of sense. He's saying all the right things.
Sort of just sort of being a company man, want to be busy. Watch his scrum to guys. Watch some of
scrum clips. We have those on enemy fighting. He's just really good at answering questions.
And he's really a thoughtful dude. And then it also helps that he's built like a friggin
tank that's also very appealing. So yeah, so blown away by Anthony Wendt. So you think it just
makes sense to do the Sean Shorapley.
Sorry. Yeah. I actually, I actually think it's perfect.
Yeah. I actually think it's perfect.
It just sort of a different way that I was talking about Peyton Talbot.
I have no idea what we have with Anthony went. Like he, is he, is he Francis and Ghanu?
Or is he William Knight? He's better. He's not William Knight. I will say that right now. He's
already a notch above Willie. I don't know, dude. Willie Knight four fights into his pro, five fights
in his pro career was like the same cat.
And then he started fighting like legit competition.
Oh, sure.
And you were like, oh, okay.
And this is, and this is the issue.
This is why I called this event Squash Lake City.
They're literally pulling dudes off the scene to fight this guy.
They did it with Jacoby Smith.
They did it with others.
And like, this is not, this is not a Marcus McGee situation where Marcus was supposed to
fight Bernadner Sopage.
And then they, Bernadar was out of the fight.
and then they had to pull somebody in to fight him.
Like, they planned this.
This was the planned fight from Jump Street.
Not a guy that's on the roster.
We're just going to find a guy with a padded record, essentially,
and we're just going to let him lay waste to him.
And that's what happened.
The first time Anthony touched in the guy was like, I'm done.
I'm out of here.
And he just gave up.
And I was like, what is this?
This is like worse than I thought this is going to be.
So, and I have issue, like the size thing concerns me a little bit.
because he's like, dude is a freak athlete.
And he might be great.
I just don't know.
The Sharaf fight is actually going to give me some answers because, well,
Sean is still like on the lower end of the totem pole when it comes to rankings.
And yes, he is, he is riding high up this Gable Steven thing.
And I think something he said on Joe Rogan was kind of interesting.
Like maybe he should just like stop fighting.
Because it's not going to, it may not get any better than what we just saw with Gable.
So how about
So I like the call
I thought the call was fantastic
I was really good
And I wonder what the betting line
is going to be for that fight
Oh
I actually think Sharap
Might be live in this fight
He'll be favorite
You think Sharap would be favorite of a win
After the gable thing
Yeah
I don't think way more people know
About the Gable win
Than anything that Anthony win has done
Right but I still think
Wynts gonna be like a minus 400 favorite
To open
Minus 400
Yeah
I do. I do.
But I think Sharaf would be live.
I think Sharaf would be a live dog.
Because he's an actual UFC fighter on the roster that's fought UFC level competition multiple times.
So this is kind of what I want to see.
So I like the match.
I thought the call was fantastic.
My hipster wildcar picking.
Oh, wait, Mike.
But before you move on, hold on.
Is there any chance that they can get on 334?
It's pretty loaded already.
I mean, I think it's 13 fights deep right now.
But Salt Lake City was 14.
So I think they obviously don't have a problem with that.
Plus it's, you know, Mad Square Gardens.
I think they'd want to bring as many fights as possible.
Because if that is a possibility, like Sharaf should also be campaigning to fight Anthony
Winter right now.
He needs to join in and, you know, be calling.
And he should do it.
And he should do it.
He should not call it for 334.
He should call for 335 and do it in his backyard.
Like, why should, why should Sean Sharaff, who is, Anthony has treated him as the A side here
by calling him out?
Why should Sean have to travel to New York and pay the 40% taxes?
I don't think he should have to do that.
So go to his backyard and do it there.
I love it.
I like the good logic.
You're right.
You're right.
Yeah.
The hipster pick was, by the way, I, in terms of like stocks rising of like how I viewed a fighter to where he is now,
um, Emilio Rodriguez was the hero of this event to be.
That dude, he is a savage.
I was really looking forward to the Korea fight.
I was like, this is going to be like the rockum sock him back and forth, like battle.
of attrition, like fight of the night.
And nope, not even a little.
That was a one-way destruction by Eaminal.
And I want him to fight Tim Elliott so badly.
That is just a heater.
Yeah, that's a big test.
I'm ready.
Mike, you are merciless.
I'm ready.
He's just a child.
I want to see it.
I want to see what this dude can do against a guy who's like, you can't hurt.
Oh, man, I don't know.
He's 26 years old.
He didn't wait.
Listen, he lost to.
He lost Joseph Morales on the ultimate fighter, man.
You think he can handle it.
It was very close fight, but.
Yeah, this is a blip on the radar, AK.
He's so back.
What he did last night, I was like, whoa, this guy, this guy might fight for a belt.
He's like the one guy in the car where I was just like, yep, he's fighting for a belt.
This guy is going to fight for a title someday and like feel really good about it.
Now, like if other guys fought, like, if Anthony Wint fought for the heavyweight title,
Peyton Tau for the Bannumweight title, you know, maybe a penis fuck middleweight title,
I wouldn't be like shocked by that.
But I was just like, yeah, that dude's fighting for the belt.
He's that good.
And he's only 26.
That's a scary, scary, man.
He fought a really good guy.
Like a really good prospect.
And actually like Kevin Borjas, too.
I know, I know Kevin Boras.
I don't think he was on a great run.
But actually, like Kevin Borahas, his last win.
Yeah.
Like that actually that was pretty legit as well.
Damn.
Let's see what he's got, man.
If he loses, so what?
Do you have a nickname for Eminol that you can implement now that annoys people?
Oh.
Like Natty Ice.
Oh.
Well, figure this out.
I actually think about this one.
Yeah, yeah.
His actual nickname is Haimann, Heemann, Heem.
Heemann, which I think is this.
Heirad?
He can go Heirond.
I like it.
That's going to make people so angry.
Oh, yeah.
Eam and Ice.
I like that too.
Don't do it.
Let's just go, let's just go full board.
Don't do it.
Most people love that at E.
There's always like one or two that's just like against the grade.
And that's fine.
Some people hate when we call each other best friends.
That really seems to drive some people crazy.
Yeah.
as two people who have never met each other, but from a distance.
But we should just do our friends forever anyways.
We have to.
So we got guys, you know, I guess we mentioned on BTL, the great Dennis Haskins.
Of course, best known for being Mr. Belding, unsaved by the bell.
Also, you know, did some pro wrestling stuff as well.
There's great.
75, 75 years young, passed away.
And yes, I would like to read a little bit of the other lyrics, which we never use.
I'm just going to read them because I don't want to get sued.
We met some time ago.
when we were so young.
We've been through thick and thin.
We've lost.
We've tied.
We've won.
Three, two, one.
Friends forever.
Boy, those lyrics are different when you just speak them like that.
Because those, I mean, if you actually listen to the song,
there's no way Kelly Kapowski is hitting those notes.
Or Lisa Turtle or A.C. Slater.
A.C. Slater sung like, sounded like Michael McDonald.
I was just watching that video yesterday.
And guys, watch the instruments playing as well.
Watch, watch Dustin Diamond.
R-I-P.
Dustin Diamond.
Watch him slapping his hand against the keys,
not even trying, not even trying to look like his playing piano.
And the great Mark Paul Gossler doing a very unique kind of guitar picking,
which I've never seen before.
You guys didn't find it.
You're YouTube, YouTube, Zach Attack.
There's only one dude that actually knows he's doing.
It's Mario Lopez.
Yes, because he actually is a drummer.
Yes, and he's in the back, so you can barely see him.
The one guy is actually, like, playing his instrument.
He could have played, like, he could have played all the instruments at once.
And it would have bought it.
I thought Lark Borges was kind of like, at base, I feel like it's easy to fake.
I don't know.
It's not.
Slap in the base.
Yeah, that's just a lot of the base.
Okay.
All right.
Well, you guys.
Matchmaking.
Okay.
Yes.
Are you good to stick around for a little bit?
I can stick around for a little bit, sure.
All right.
We did, we'll start with the SB Nation app.
Shout out to everyone.
There's like 1,200 comments last.
night on that thing.
You guys are,
we had a blast.
We told you we're going to have a blast
and you guys came through
in a big way.
First Emperor
says Natty Ice
versus Alexa Grasso.
Let's run that thing back.
I actually don't mind that.
I think you're against her.
You don't want to see it again anytime soon.
Because I do feel like,
I know it's just could be a style thing
and like it might play out the way
that first fight played out like
9 to 9 out of 100 times.
I do think that woke something up in Grasso.
I feel like she realized like she could have
she could have fought it different.
And I think we've seen a more aggressive like, you know, Grasso and some of her fights since.
So I don't think you would go the same way.
Would Natty Ice still win?
Yeah, possibly.
I don't mind them running it back sometimes.
Maybe not next.
Yeah, I mean, like if they did it, if they need to fill a spot or something and they want to put a second title fight in,
and like this is the only thing you have available, then I'm good with it.
But there's just, you know, Natty winning just kind of hurt Alexa Grasso's case a little bit just because they just had that fight.
and I mean, Natty, Natty smacked her around.
Like, that fight was not competitive at all.
So that's, I mean, if they make it,
I don't think he could be upset about it.
Talbot versus Batista.
That seems, now that seems like kind of a misstep.
If they make it, that's just like,
ooh, I'm intrigued by it.
But Mario would be taking, like, in my opinion,
a step back.
Dude is on a tear right now.
And Talbot is just kind of like,
I need to see a little more before we start talking.
in there. So, but again, like, do you put Batista in the same category as a Sanhagen,
even though Batista just beat him? I don't know. But that's, that's what makes Peyton so
interesting as a, as a prospect right now. He's with you on this one. Soleditch versus Medich.
That's right. That's right. Let's go. Rodriguez versus Brandon Moreno, AK. I'm talking Tim
Elliot. We're going Brandon Moreno. Why not? Who is booked, by the way,
already against Charles Johnson, AFC 335.
And how do you feel about this, okay?
We did, we did get Jonathan Walker versus Mick Parkin.
We did.
Is the next gradual step for Jonathan Walker, the heavyweight,
to go to Marching Taivora next?
Maybe.
He is the, I think, the heavyweight gatekeeper right now,
like the veteran heavyweight gatekeeper.
God bless March and DeBore.
Like I think he's probably near the end of how, like,
effective he is and actually stopping people from entering the top 15.
But we'll find out.
We'd find out.
I do think that's a logical way to go.
I have no idea what's next for Big Johnny.
T-personettes.
Talbot versus Umar.
I don't mind that one, by the way.
I don't think he has.
If it were me,
Umar is like a minus 600 favorite.
Really?
I told you.
I do, I think that, like I said,
I think the level,
I think Umar is so many levels above Davis and Figurato.
I mean,
I know their fight was really bad, but it was also like a clear cut win for Umar, like a totally boring fight.
It was not a great fight.
David's a figure out was not a threat to him at all.
Um, and, uh, yes, I know he got knocked up by Songy Dong.
Songy Dong, I think is also leagues above where Peyton Talbot is right now.
So I just don't like that.
I would, I think Umar handles him at the stage of his career.
Okay.
Uh, Breivich, Manuel Torod, so T-Personnets with me, Peanoss versus Mikhail Oakesech.
Love it.
Cause that's just gonna be a heater.
Take the under.
Take the under.
55 seconds. I might take the under half a round. And how about this, AK, Jacoby Smith versus Nicholas
Dalby? Yeah, that's good. That's really good. That's the kind of veteran test you want for guys like
Jacobi Smith. I really like that. Yeah, not like a mega young prospect. He's 30. You know, he's not old,
but he's pretty much in his prime or getting into, you know, we're getting, we already kind of know
who he is. There's still improvements we made for sure. We kind of know who he is. A lot of finishes,
Nicholas Dalby, incredibly difficult to put away. So that's like, that's a big, that's a very logical
test. I like that T-person.
By the way, first emperor just added in live.
Guys, this is the magic of the app.
Oh, we'll get there.
You saw it.
You saw it.
We're about to get there.
Yes.
That's incredible.
Oh, okay.
We'll get there in a moment.
Connor W.N.Y.
Go Bills.
I mean, they're going to.
I'm not looking forward to watch this football game.
It's going to be real bad.
D.H. King, Peyton, Talba versus Barre, Batista.
Reovitch versus Randy Brown.
I was going to say, oh, that's doo-doo.
But it's not anymore because Randy Brown's not having.
opponent currently for October 31st. I was Carlisle-L out. I thought about that. My only thing is,
I think Soldich kind of got banged up in this fight. I do not think he should make a quick
turn around. Yeah, you shouldn't be fighting October 30. He did not escape on skates from this way.
Roman Kabulah versus Israel out of Sanya. I know Izzy is rumored to be fighting Shara,
but I would much rather see this fight. Oh, okay. We're getting we're getting crafty here.
D.H. King likes Marcus Beghee versus Amin Zahebi. I like that fight. But this is the one,
AK. This is the one where I'm like, oh, interesting.
Jacobi Smith versus
Balal Muhammad.
Mike, are Balal and Leon just like
sitting around waiting for someone to take their
number or to get a win up? Like, is that's where they are at their careers? Is this
the Balal sweepstakes and the Leon sweepstakes? I mean, dude, like, I just feel
I don't know, I just like, as much as I like Jacoby, I just feel like
there are other dudes in this way class who deserve the shot better,
deserve that fight more.
But I mean,
I would be intrigued to watch Jacoby fight any of these dudes.
I mean, Jacoby's not a young man.
No.
So he's in his 30s already.
But yeah, I think it's,
I don't know, there might be a little bit too soon for me.
I think so too, but it would fit the current
matchmaking philosophy, which is also something I've been a fan of.
One, where sometimes they,
let's we get like Talbot and Figgy
and the older fighter is just clearly a sacrifice.
And other times we get like a fighter who, again,
is not far removed from, you know, being a champion or being a contender.
And there are a legitimate test, like, for some of these young guys.
So that might be it.
Jacobi Smith needs to take a significant step up in competition next.
Certainly.
I don't know if I go.
No more pulling dudes off the street.
I don't know if I go that high.
I don't know if I go that high, like Balala, Leon, etc.
But they're in play.
I think a lot of these names are in play.
I love the Dolby idea.
I think that's really good.
I think that's really good.
Magny?
I don't mind a Neil Magny test.
Do you think?
I know Maggi's book, but
Dude, is he?
Who's he fighting?
I thought he was booked.
Maybe he's not booked.
I just always feel like he's booked.
Yeah, exactly.
That's got, that's got that's exactly right.
He has actually,
I actually thought like Sol Deach maybe for him.
For Jacobi?
Oh, for Magny, for Maggie.
But that's a little too obvious.
It's too long.
Knows, but that is what they do with Magny.
Usually.
Running free.
Blanchfield should get a title shot with the win in two weeks,
but they'll probably make the grassy rematch instead.
I kind of feel like Aaron.
I kind of feel like Aaron's
kind of in trouble.
just because
I mean, she's good.
She got dusted by Minan,
so that's like a really tough look,
but she's looked pretty decent ever since.
She beats Jasmine.
Like,
I just don't think that's a,
that's like Grasso beating Menon is a,
it's just a way better win than,
no disrespect to Jasmine because she's a fun,
good fighter,
but it's just a better win.
And she just done,
she doesn't have like the personality Alexa has.
And I don't know,
there's just different things that are kind of working against her.
maybe if she breaks out like an
like an Invicta head kick
you know old school Aaron Flatsfield
kind of promo and a half be like Natty
I was not impressed with your performance
do something like that
a lot has to go her way yeah a lot has to go her way
for it to move the line
for Peyton Talbot I like the O'Malley call out
but I think Shuga is getting the Yon rematch
you're not wrong about that
if it meets Marab again but having to fight again before that
I'm most interested to see who they have
Soul Ditch fight next Buckley would probably
would be pretty cool
but they probably
the gatekeeper thing. Jeff Neal, if he's good to go
after the recent cancellation.
Yeah, definitely an option. Yeah, definitely an option.
First Emperor jumped in. Also,
Peanuts versus anyone from 9 to 12
with defense.
Five rounder. So we're talking main event for this young
man. You have to see Aruba,
well, you have C Aruba?
9 to 12, 9 to 12.
So that could be, just about my my rankings.
That could be the winner of CLD
and, who's he?
Brennan Allen.
Okay, could be the winner of that fight.
Could be the winner of Piper Bo-Nichael.
Imagine being Brennan and seeing he's fighting Christian Leroy-Duncan,
but Joe Piper is fighting Bo-Nichael?
Like, how do we not get to Brendan Allen versus Joe Piper?
I'm stunned by this.
I don't know.
And I want to warn people ahead of time.
Like, I get Joe Piper and Bo-Nichol confused all the time.
And it's going to be a hell of a lead up to this because it's going to be a real mistakes
about, like, who they fought and stuff like that.
I'm like, oh, man, I'm totally going to mess that up.
I'm going to pull a real Dana on it.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
All right.
Let's go to the peeps here in the chat.
Oh, do we have a super chat?
We do.
Sinney, Sin.
Talbot versus Raul Roses Jr.
Someday, someday.
I would love it if they just did it.
There's like a zero chance.
Zero chance if they're thinking that.
Would you pick?
Oh.
Oh.
I think I'd take Talbot.
I think I take Talbot too.
Again, that, that's a fun.
fight, man. Yeah, it's weird because neither guy looked particularly good against
Barcelos. I mean, I know obviously Rosas got the win by just not, you know, by being,
literally being the last man standing. Truly. Yeah, I would lean towards Talbot. That's weird.
I've said I have so down on him. And I do like the test that they've, I do like the matchups
they've given to Rosas. I think they're testing him well. I think Talbot is a little,
just a little more mature. Yeah. And I think the stand up is just, I think the gap in the standup
is considerable.
Yeah, I think I'd lean to tablet as well.
Yeah.
But again, Raul O'Ruston is only just old enough to have an alcoholic beverage here in the United States.
Joseph, Natty Ice versus the Aaron Jazzon winner.
You cannot give Jasmine Jaze's title shot.
You can, Mike.
Sorry.
No, you can't.
She just got knocked out in like seven seconds by Menon Fior.
You cannot give her a title fight.
Wait, no, how long?
Wait a minute.
That's got to be at least a year ago, right?
That wasn't.
It wasn't that long ago.
Come on, Mike.
It was in November, wasn't it?
It might have been.
Less of a year ago.
It was October.
Well, it was a year.
Almost over.
Okay, wow, that is.
And it's only two, that only be two fights, three fights ago after her next fight.
Yeah.
Yeah, you can't do it.
Fine.
But, I mean, Wang Tong just got a title.
I was literally about to say.
So, I mean, anything can happen.
If they have a pay-per-view in Canada,
Jazz and Mike get the call.
Peyton Talba versus Sean O'Malley,
not going to happen, but I would love to see it happen.
Reivich versus Dan Hooker.
Hooker's booked.
He is booked.
Hooker is booked.
Come on, Joseph.
Soldage versus the winner of Kevin Holland, Euros Medich,
copulop versus Edmund Shabazian.
Wildcard, Alexander Hernandez versus the Moikano, Tom Nolan winner.
I don't mind that.
Okay, yes, I like that too.
Good picks, Joseph, outside of the forgetting the hooker.
Yes, he's fighting Brian Ortega, which I actually forgot about for a moment.
That's right.
Thank you.
Lazy bed.
Thank you.
Oh, wait, Joseph has a response, though.
Joseph says, I'm assuming Ortega wasn't going to make it.
Wow.
I mean, you know, caveat that.
Damn.
Damn, that's pretty cool.
I love this.
EAC stands for abnormally cruel, spectacular.
I mean, really spectacular.
He was quite a bully.
No, that was when he was like the fake person.
He was talking to Gem Diamond.
He was like Zach Morris is like fake henchman, essentially,
to try to get discounted school rings.
Yeah, I'm a dude.
Don't even try me with this.
This is a road that you guys would be like,
what is wrong with you?
Duke Madduck, main card winner matchup.
Silva versus Aaron,
if she beats JJ,
Talbot versus Sanhagen.
Aaron,
shout out to Aaron Blanchfield,
getting the shine here.
If she doesn't head,
30 second head kick,
sick promo,
Aaron,
call your shot.
You get a finish on JD,
call your shot.
I mean,
if she,
she might just get it,
man.
I mean,
it just,
it really depends on how long Valentin is out for.
Rivitz versus Sola.
I like that fight.
Soldage versus Brandy Brown.
Like that one,
to copulah versus Shabazian.
I got a couple of guys support me.
Look at you, A.K.
Getting on the board here.
See, friends forever.
This one's for you, Mr. Belving.
Let's go, D.H.
Lazy, I would have loved to see Jacoby dealt with Wonderboy.
Shame Ratke got the call.
Yeah, that would be interesting.
I really don't like the Radkey Wonder Boy match.
This is the Wonderboy's retirement fight, right?
It will be his final fight.
I think he's going to style all over Chuck Buffalo,
and I think that's probably the point.
And, and Radkey, again, whether I don't know if you guys like a stick or not.
He will, he will sell a fight.
Racky will do his part to sell a fight.
I think he's not going to try to.
I think he's just going to put one.
You have to put Wonderboy over here.
Like you have to sit there and be super respect.
Oh, oh.
You can't be a dick.
You just can't.
It's not.
It's so even con like,
I don't know.
Tried.
Like so many people tried with him and it's just like,
you can't do it.
Colby's tried with him and couldn't do it.
Like you just,
you just can't with Wonderboy.
Like there's certain fighters you can't try to have bad blood with.
And he's one of them.
So congratulations to Mr. Wonderboy as well.
now a dad,
which has kind of helped lean this decision
towards retirement.
He does have one fight left in his deal.
Wonder Boy, one day older than I.
So shout out to him.
Good dude all the way around.
Back to Duke Madduck,
prelim winner matchups.
Eminoff versus Ray,
Smith versus Magny,
McGee versus Vera,
Wint versus Despain,
Effitt.
I just kind of want that fight for the face-off.
I love it.
For the Getty image face up.
It's all my way.
Yeah, yeah.
The photographers are going to have to get creative to...
I honestly, like, I think Rebellis would be like, would be the favorite in that fight.
I would smash any number on Anthony Wendt to beat Rebellis.
I would pick out that he went in a half a second.
All you have to do is just tackle him one time and you win.
One tackle the fight's over.
One.
I need to see this.
I really love this more than the Sharaff pick now.
Who was this?
Who was this?
Duke Madduck?
Duke Madduck.
A lot of people want to see Gable Steveson fight Rebellis to Spain as well.
That's another option.
But again, you might be sacrificing Rebellis.
Like literally one tackle.
It's over.
The fight is done.
I just love that Roballis is back.
The UFC is a better place with Robelis in it.
Is it?
Yes.
Did you watch Ty to Me?
Listen.
Listen.
Listen.
That's so bad.
Every, there's not a fight where I don't look like.
Rebellis versus X is just dumb.
And I like that.
Like there's not any fight where I'm like, oh yeah, that makes sense like from a competitive
standpoint.
No, that's not what we keep rebellious around for.
It's never,
it's either we're putting in there with someone because we think they're going to mark
them in like five seconds.
And it makes even funnier when that doesn't happen because I think that was what they
kind of thought would have with tie and it didn't.
Or like you said,
we're putting on someone who on paper is like less experience and less talented
than him,
but they know how to tackle someone.
So he's screwed.
You know, so I just think it's so funny.
Thousand Rings likes the Wint versus Sharaff pick.
I honestly think this is,
there was an excellent call out.
Make it happen.
Nailed it.
I mean,
just not a single note.
Seattle,
Ryan,
how about McGee versus Roses Jr.?
Yeah.
Again,
this might be where McGee finds stuff.
He's so interesting because he's,
he's an older guy.
He's not like,
he's not on the other side of 35 yet.
He's getting there.
He's an older guy.
But he has less mileage than some of the people his age.
I think he only has like 14, 15 pro bouts.
He's fought very,
very good competition,
like in his few pro votes.
Yeah, he's interesting.
Like, I put him in the older guy category,
but he has a similar level of pro experience to, like,
Raural Roses and Peyton Talbot,
different competition, obviously.
But, yeah, I don't know.
I don't know how they use McGee.
Because I think if you book him right,
he's a guy you could kind of sneak into a title shot,
or, yeah, you use him this way.
You use him to fight the Robo X's and the Peyton Talbets
and the Dave Martinez's and so on and so forth.
Yeah.
Bazy likes Eric Nolan versus Ty Miller.
Yeah, I like that fight.
Shout out, Eric.
That's an Eric Nolan matchup.
Shout out, Eric Nolan.
I had picked a couple of underdogs.
You know, I thought Cort McGee could have reached down and got to win.
I picked RDA to beat Hernandez, both very wrong.
And Eric Nolan, good for him, taking those booze and saying, listen, I'm sorry,
I beat their hometown guys retiring.
I have nothing but respect for him.
And I'm going to let him have his moment.
I thought for a minute he was getting really defensive because he's like, you guys don't know what I've been through.
And I thought, oh, boy, he's going to tell a story here that these people do not have time for.
But then he said, nope, give court the mic.
He's like, this is course time and he just laughed at him.
Nolan, good job.
And you got yourself a $25,000 finish bonus.
Yeah, that's a dude who like has, has underachieved based on his ability.
Like, he's not a guy that's not a guy that's going to like be a rank, like a top 15 guy.
But he's just fought killers, man.
Like he has not been matched up with like anybody favorable.
He's just in there taking these fights.
So I was like, okay, this kind of feels like a win for him, even though, you know,
know it's on the it's on the end of court kind of leaving the sport but i mean it was it was a good
matchmaking good way to end it court got his shine and you know dude had a long ass career at the
ufc so so good on him low res jove oh sorry i wanted to say yeah because right now happy trails
to court mcgee uh just a class guy class guy uh i'm not going to say like oh always the most
exciting fighter and a guy who was like a top 20 contender not but he's always wanted to compete
his story is very inspirational i know jose talked to him this week
And he said, listen, I never, I never get tired of telling my story.
Like, I know he's aware that every time he fights, that's the, oh, Court McGee, his story of survival and blah, blah, blah.
Like, and I get it.
There's some people who are like, oh, like, find a new gimmick or whatever.
But, like, that is such a, you know, it's such a compelling story.
It's a kind of perseverance that I think never goes out of style.
I think to put, like, it's pretty gauche way of saying it.
But it never goes out of style.
So I think he made his mark on, on, on the MMA, you know?
Maybe not a top contender, not a ranked guy.
But he made his mark.
And, again, a lot of.
guys that came with that's a kind of inspiring story like matt brown and jared gordon like i just you
can never really discount these things because it is extraordinary i think what a lot of these guys
achieved terence mcini and other guys so you know saying it guys you know saying if you're out there
and you can take any positivity from these guys stories please do you know very inspiring so
sorry mike i didn't want to interrupt you you were pulling up uh whose picks were you pulling up here
oh yes i'm sorry um my bad my bad low rest over Hernandez
Does Dawson Alley of winner Green versus Michael Johnson, Reivich versus Ludwig Klein,
any thoughts into this?
It's so weird.
I feel like these matches have before, but I think none of them have.
It's just so weird.
These guys have a lot of guys have been around so long.
I was going to say, Loisdobar, are you sure King Green hasn't fought Michael Johnson?
I sure Reevitz hasn't fought Klein.
And I'm pretty sure you're right.
I don't think he's fought this.
So those are nice.
Those are some nice deep cuts.
I quite like that.
Mike Seattle Ryan 5721 says,
Gable versus the newly hated.
Senegalese heavyweight, I believe he's referring to Mr. Jop, Adama Jop.
If I'm not mistaken, let me, right?
I actually love that.
I think that would be so funny.
Yeah, Adama Jop.
Yes, from Senegal.
Obviously, we're talking about the guy, if you guys don't know from Contender Series,
who got a contract despite Dana White saying your performance was crap,
you don't look good, you're old, but I guess because you're old,
I better give you a shot.
So I wonder if they signed him just for him to be sort of the gable bounce back fight.
And it would be insanely funny if Jop beat him.
Oh, okay.
Just insanely funny.
Okay.
Can Gregor Rodriguez make welterweight so we could have Robocop versus Robocop?
There's only room for one Robocop in the UFC.
Will the real slim, say, shady, please say that.
The other way.
Yeah.
The other way.
Solace just fought a middleweight.
We can do this.
We can have some fun with this.
Yeah.
He won a middleweight title.
I mean, he beat like a way past prime Madmanette Kaladov,
but it was a great moment.
It was a great moment.
So, damn.
Robocoff versus Robocop.
That's right.
Yeah.
Soldich.
It's out there.
Just so you have that option.
Really good.
Cutting weight sucks.
Get up there.
Duke says, I didn't say wind versus Sharaf,
because I think Sharaf is taking the rest of the year off
and both went into Spain already and willing to go before the end of the year.
I think Shirof should get back in there.
As big as that.
He's dinged up.
I guess he's dealing with a bunch of injuries.
Sure, sure.
Heading into that fight.
But I mean, dude, like, this is kind of, to be a big opportunity.
If he can knock off Gable and Wint back to back, like, that's big, man.
That's a rookie of the air shit right there.
Yep.
And I hate to say it because the Gable win was so momentous.
But, like, January, February, March, depending if he's planning to come back next year,
this business moves really fast.
I'm not saying people are going to forget the Gable win.
but like you got to capitalize again we bring it up all the time say what you want about the guy Josh Hawkeett
this dude the iron is smoking hot and he's like I'm getting back in I'm getting back in I'm getting back in
and Josh Hawket has like had one of the best like rookie years I think we've ever seen in the last like 10 years in the
he fought last year right he fought last year yes and then he got back in you qualify technically for like what we would call
rookie no no he's our breakout or whatever he might be he might just be straight up the fighter of the year if he wins
I was just going to ask you that I was just going to ask you that if he if he beats zero gone
Is he, does he jump over Justin Gage as the fighter of the year?
I think he almost has to be, right?
I think it has to be, no?
He wins, like he can literally win every single award.
Yeah, I think he will, he, because he's going to win fight of the year.
He wins breakout fighter of the year.
He will probably win fighter of the year.
This might be like the greatest year ever, like in a, like in an awards capacity we've ever seen.
And it's out of nowhere.
I just like the man so much.
But dude, if I'm being like objective when we get around to the being as awards and he's the heavyweight champion, I don't know, man.
I might have no choice.
I might have no choice.
Gachy's two wins, for sure.
Amazing campaign, maybe untouchable.
I have to think about it.
But yeah, we got to revisit this if Hocke had managed to.
Oh, my God, somehow, and 2027 is the heavyweight champion of the UFC.
Yeah.
Oh, my gosh.
A couple more things.
Master, would you give Johnny Walker a rank guy off the back of that win?
Spivak was the first name that came to mind.
If so, it's a fairly shallow division.
Yeah, I think there's a very good chance he gets a ranked guy.
For the reasons listed there, a very good comment.
it's not deep. He has a name.
Let's not forget, like, his, this is his heavyweight debut.
This is a guy who was top 15 at light heavyweight.
So, I mean, it shouldn't transfer over like that, but the UFC generally likes to, you know,
they don't like to have to build someone back over again.
So, like, people know Johnny Walker, popular guy, highlight real fighter.
Yeah, give him some like Spivok for sure.
I can see that.
Yeah.
Yeah, I'm just, I'm going to, boy, I'm just looking at, I'm looking at the division right now.
I'm like, boy, some of these guys could really slow him down.
Like if he fought Waldo
Like that could get real tough
Like even Sergey Spivak could get real tough
What was the other name that was said earlier
What was the other name that was said?
What's his face?
Debrough? Yes, that could get real tough
We were getting real close
To get real heavy weighty with that McParkin fight yesterday
But luckily like Johnny Walker is like, nope, no, I can't do this
I can't let this happen
And started throwing a bunch of Johnny Walker stuff
which is really, really fun.
That was great.
Waldo Walker versus Brando Perichich.
I think I think Brando's on a separate,
like I think they see something in Brando.
I think they's,
uh,
different.
Also is he,
no,
he's not booked on them.
I think I've just,
I think I've just seen his name come up a lot.
Uh,
he's not booked.
He's not like Brando a lot.
I need to answer a tough question here.
Mike,
Master's the Universe Classic wants to know.
Is there any news on tough finale losers being contracted?
I genuinely think they both have something to bring.
So I hope so.
I will guarantee you,
Muhammad Ali,
uh,
Osmond Lee will get a fight for sure.
I don't know if he's...
They should throw him on Contender Series.
He's already kind of debuted in the UFC.
You can't do that.
Mike, he's officially had a UFC fight.
But he cheated and got disqualified.
That was bad.
No, no.
I think he'll get at least a one or two fight deal.
I don't know if they give him the four fight deal right away.
Melissa Amaya, I hope they bring her back.
I think she's a real talent.
But yeah, I hope they're actually several people from Tough 34.
I hope they give another shot.
Shout out Xavier Franklin, of course.
Don't you worry.
They're all going to be getting their opportunities.
Just like everybody on Contenders series, they get their job.
Ooh, this is interesting.
Walker versus Jamal Hill.
The two heavyweight.
Two light heavyweights.
The battle of the bellies.
We don't know with Jamal.
So Jamal doesn't have a heavyweight fight, both you?
No, sure doesn't.
He's just healing up for some injuries.
Right, right.
Okay, I don't know.
Dude, I like that idea, though.
Mm.
I like that.
Makes sense.
Who is he caught?
Oh, he's courting chaos Williams last night.
Yeah.
Okay.
Aspline versus Wins would be a good measuring stick for Wins.
But we have to be like, we still have to be like kind of careful with Wins.
We do.
He's young.
He's, there's some exciting stuff.
Like, obviously there's some excitement there, but he is, he is green.
Yeah.
He is so.
green. So like you got to be careful. Like I am like Asplon's tough man like Assum
I beat him. Oh I'm so fat. I'm so fading wince if he's like a if if if um Aspin was like a
plus 300 under dog or something I'd be killed plus 200 anything I'd be like I'm going
Aspland all the way. Uh, it'd be a light heavyweight rematch at heavyweight for
Walkland or Mall Hill. I totally forgot that. What? Who I couldn't even tell you right now who
won the first fight. I'm an I hate to sound like a noob. Um, Jamal Hill.
had to have won the first. Yes, 2020.
This is during a very dark time for Johnny.
I think that he lost a four.
Wasn't that fight like super duper terrible until the finish?
Maybe it only lasted. It lasted less than three minutes, but that could have been terrible.
Oh, no, that was the Tiago Santos fight.
I got Tiago Santos.
That was.
Yeah, Jamal.
Yeah, Jamal just clobbered him.
Collabber Johnny Walker.
It was the, the Tiago Santos fight was really bad until the finish.
And then did he go, well, Tiago Santos.
No, what are we thinking of?
because Yana Santos went to the distance
Diego went the distance with Magamankalayaev
he also with Johnny
oh we're talking to Mal Hill I don't know I'm too I'm so concerned
we're talking Jamal Hill Johnny Walker
Yes
And then we're I was confused I was wondering I was like
Wasn't that fight awful until it was over
But then I was thinking it was the next fight with Tiago Santos
That was really awful until the finish
Tiago is probably winning that fight
I think he was winning that fight
Because he was tackling Jamal a bunch
Oh him and Jamoam so I think
him and him and Johnny Walker.
Yes, I'm sorry, him and Jamal.
Yeah, he and Jamal.
Jamal just decimated Johnny Walker in like two minutes, like smash him.
And then, you know, Tiago Santos fight got him to a short notice title fight against Glover Tashara, where he became the champion of the world.
So there you have it.
A couple more we'll get out of here.
Another soldiers versus Meditch, Brody.
Ataba versus Dustin Stoltzvus.
Copulov versus Damien Pino.
Yeah, yeah.
That seems the neatest thing for them to do would just be through Coppulov in there with Pinoch.
us really and we'll end here um oh what about this vaultair versus johnny that's they should
definitely try to make that fight i would if you're the brothers you should be pushing so hard to do
this this is brett noan baby go do it this is brett no i would i saw some people i think say that
in social media and i'm like yes just do it this is actually the fight uh this is my new
this is officially my new justing gaugie versus max holloway oh
my God. I'm stealing this from you. You're putting on that level. You're putting it on that level.
Yep. Every time it either fights, this is what we're doing. But I'll give you credit, two
piece to biscuit. And we'll end here. Where does Figgie go? Most confusing Otno from the
card, in my opinion, weight class-wise, retire. I don't even know. If I'm the UFC, I do not
let him fight again. He's gone. He has a follow-up comment about comparing him to Jessica And
Gerage. Yeah, I've been doing that all week as well. I was talking to Guy about like,
that's the stage he's at where he just kind of shows up, you know, a guy who was a legitimate
a champion in one division, a contender,
top 10 guy, another division.
Same with Jessica Andrade.
She was a champion in one division,
actually fought for the title in the second division.
But now it really feels like they're both just showing up to get a paycheck.
And the returns are so dramatically diminishing every time they show up now.
So, yeah, very, very similar career arcs.
And, yeah, it would not bother me at all if neither fought again.
I hope they're very financially well taken care of that they can make that decision.
But I don't know.
We've seen how this game is to fighters.
you might see both those people fight at least one more time before it's all said and done.
Well,
we'll end here.
One last comment from the app.
Bloody Helbo,
Pinas versus Brennan Allen,
this recommendation based upon Allen's nickname.
I'm not.
Okay.
Well,
all right,
Mike,
so what's going on next week's card?
I just got it.
You see,
you see Vegas,
Mike,
you see Vegas 122.
Speaking of Brendan Allen,
what's going on?
It's a card of all time.
Okay.
I can tell you that.
Brandon Allen,
Christian Lee,
Ray, Duncan.
I do like this main event.
I think I think Brendan deserves better.
But Christian's a tough out, man.
He's looked really good.
Jed played this game.
He goes, we're supposed to show.
And he goes, he goes, what's the co-main event for this card?
And I was like, oh my God, I have no idea.
I was like, what weight classes is?
He goes lightweight.
And I'm like, no idea.
And then he told me, and then I found out what it was.
Mateus Camille versus Jai Herbert.
I was like, Jed, you could have given me 25,000 guesses.
And I wouldn't have got that right.
I think that is the co-main event.
I think that will be changed.
I have.
I say that, but I'm looking down the card.
I'm trying to think, oh, well, what is the way more obvious co-made event pick?
I do not see.
Probably Lupi Godinez versus Kelons Soza.
That's probably like the fight that has the most stakes outside of the main event.
I really like the Andre Feely, Kai Kamaka, the third fight.
I think that's not bad.
It's not bad.
It's not bad.
I'm very much intrigued by Julius Walker versus Gerald Beershardt.
10 fights versus 59.
fights getting after it.
Gerald's the underdog?
Gerald making the move to 205.
He's the underdog?
Yeah, he's
38. He's lost, what's
five in a row, six in a row?
Yeah, but it's Julius Walker.
How dare you?
I'm so sorry, Julius
follows me into it. I shouldn't.
That could be quite, I actually think that's fight's going to be
quite fun in just a weird
way. We're going to have a great time. Let's put a pin in that.
Malcolm Wellmaker's back.
He's fighting Otari
Tanzolovi. They're
trying to book him a win, I think.
But you never know in this crazy sport of ours.
Francisco Prado taking on Ishmael
Bonfim. We will
say happy trails to Nico Price.
He will compete in his
final fight. They are really trying
to book him a win here on the way out.
He's the underdog. I heard you're
fading. Leon pretty hard on this one.
Yeah. I mean,
this is
This is a fight.
That's a fight.
Philippe Franco versus
Brenson-R.J. Harris
versus Alan Frye Jr.
Wow.
Daria Jelenzikova
versus the return of Alice Pereira,
AK.
Fresh off her big win
in her most recent fight
against the dangerous Haley Cowan.
And Ernesta
Karakate
taking on Melissa Gato
is the opener.
What is this, UFC, Vegas, 125, 6, 7, 8?
122.
120.
Oh, Jesus Christ.
This is not a good card.
I'll say, I don't care if this is, whatever, how many fights are.
I don't care if this is 12 finishes and 12 fights.
Every card, every fight is the best thing.
It's the best effort of the championship.
I don't care if this is 12 first round knockouts.
This is not a good card.
Do not care how it turns out.
I'm so sorry.
It's the contractual obligation.
card. It's not awful. Again, there are fun fights on here. It's not going to be an awful time watching it.
We'll leave it at that. Brody, Brody in the conference. People call it 332 an apex event,
LOL. Yeah, this, they were retaliation. No, no, no. This is an apex event. This is an event.
But again, there are people out there that are going to defend this baby. And that's okay.
If that's what we're talking about, that's what we're talking about. Michael Morassus-Jarislav Amas in January,
not what I'm hearing, by the way.
But we'll keep that into perspective.
But yes, we will be there next week.
Don't you worry.
Not everyone will be here doing live programming for this car next week,
but you bet you're bippy.
We will be here as we always are.
So shout out to you, AK.
Thank you so much.
Shout out to Jed.
Shout out to everybody at MMA fighting.
Shout out to Jose.
Doing the damn thing at UFC 332.
And shout out to all of you guys.
We're out of here.
We'll see you next week right here and on to the next one, the podcast.
Bye-bye.
