MMA Fighting - On To the Next One: Matches To Make After UFC Vegas 120

Episode Date: August 10, 2026

The UFC returned to the newly renovated Meta APEX this past Saturday night for another UFC Fight Night event, and in the headliner, Quillan Salkilld delivered the best performance of his career as he ...stopped Mateusz Gamrot via submission in the first round. Where does Salkilld go following his breakout performance? On an all-new edition of On To the Next One, MMA Fighting's Mike Heck and Alexander K. Lee discuss what could be next for Salkilld after his big win over Gamrot at UFC Vegas 120. Additionally, future matchups are discussed for Diego Ferreira following his co-main event victory against Billy Quarantillo, Yadier del Valle following his quick stoppage of the now-retired Darren Elkins, along with fellow main card winners Alexia Thainara, Ty Miller, and more. Plus, the fellas read off listener matchmaking suggestions at the tail end of the program. The matchmaking crowns have returned following another stop at the newly renovated world's most famous meta-Apex, where we saw the coming-out party of one Quillan Salkhild,
Starting point is 00:01:50 submitting Matush Gamrot in the main event in the first round. We'll discuss what could be next for him and some of the other big winners from this recent UFC fight night event. I am Mike Hack and joining me with his matchmaking crown firmly upon the top of his beautiful head is the co-host, the co-matchmaker, the Prince of Positivity, and gosh darn it, my best friend, Alexander Kay Lee, AK, happy days. How are you? I think so happy days, my best friend.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Yeah, I think that was a nice trip back to the April. And you know what? Thumbs up. Thumbs up for the new look. It's still not ideal. Like I'm not like jumping for joy seeing it, but it puts some money into it. We have people in there. There's a little bit more of an atmosphere to it. I saw people. I think they were trying to compare it to like what's it. What's it? What's the place called again? When they had those little smaller Vegas shows. The Palace of the Palis of the Palms. And like I don't know if it. I mean, again, I have to look at the capacity. I mean, if that's the vibe they were going for. It didn't it wasn't like a total miss. The pearl at the ball. That's what it was. Of course, the pros, bombs. Such a noob. It worked. I think the changes they made worked.
Starting point is 00:02:59 I'd still prefer, obviously, you know, more road shows. But if they're going to be going to the apex, what, 14, 18 times a year? No, less now, I think, right? Considerably less. 14 times a year. Less is more. Yeah, less for sure. Because, you know, you and I, we talked about in a previous show.
Starting point is 00:03:14 I can't remember on Ot No, or in another preview show. Like, after this, they're not back in the apex until the end of September. So the trips are coming sort of fewer and farther between. But if they're going to go, let's at least have some lights. I like the red and blue lights, you know, for the different sides of the cage. I think that's the idea, right? It's like the red lights were on the side of the red corner, the blue lights were the side of the blue corner, like to start the fight anyway.
Starting point is 00:03:36 So it's cool. A lot of nice little touches. And I'll tell you something. I saw someone complaining about the commentary a little bit. And, yeah, the usual complaints. I didn't think Heli and Corme, Heli, I think is very good, obviously. I didn't think Cormier was worse than usual.
Starting point is 00:03:52 I thought he was normally at his normal level maybe slightly less fat. What a terrible compliment. No, am I wrong? I saw people complaining a lot. I started people really didn't like. He wasn't great.
Starting point is 00:04:05 But he never is. There's glaring, like, I agree with that. There's definitely glaring holes when he doesn't have like a second color person, especially those who like truly understand movements on the ground and like jiu-jitsu and such. His math skills are atrocious.
Starting point is 00:04:26 I don't know. I mean, that one, I heard that live and like it messed with my brain the whole time. He goes, they weighed in at 9 a.m. He goes, what is it?
Starting point is 00:04:36 Now it's, it's 6 p.m. That's like 24 hours. I'm like, no, bro. That's like way more than 24 hours. We're talking. I was dying.
Starting point is 00:04:44 He had me thinking, though. I was like, wait. I was like, wait. this is where it's gone I've listened to so much corne that he says something like that and like I don't immediately think he's wrong I just go like wait what no what yeah I was like is it is it like super daylight savings what am I missing here um it was it was quite funny but I don't know it's hard to put your finger on it like he brings a he definitely brings an
Starting point is 00:05:07 energy to the broadcast there's no doubt about it and like certain calls he's he's very good at but yeah there there are certain things where like if he's just by himself with somebody else. There's glaring holes. And Dan did a good job. But like if you put him in there with Anick, I think Anick would a, Anick knows his strengths and weaknesses better than most. So I think
Starting point is 00:05:28 Annick can help set him up. And that's what I said like when he was on with Dominic Cruz. There's just the two of them. Like that was Cruz's best broadcast because Annick knew how to put it on a T-4 him and let Cruz shine. And so yeah, it wasn't great in that aspect. But
Starting point is 00:05:44 I think this is the first time. It's been Helly and Just Heli and Karmier, right? I want to say. Oh, yeah. There's very rarely two person boots. Yeah. So you got to try it out. You know, hey.
Starting point is 00:05:52 I say give it another shot. Like, you know, it takes time to build chemistry. And yeah, it is a bit weird when you use to three person boots and then you're asking this guy. Like you're, you're only the color guy. So, you know, I'm damning Kormier faint praise. I mean, I'm as critical of him as anybody. I love Pokemon, fun, and Kormean is usually pretty poor commentary skills.
Starting point is 00:06:09 But let's, let's give the man a chance. Let's give him more reps and hope for the best and hope, uh, maybe Hellie can bring the best of him. The other thing I wanted to ask about, Mike, oh my gosh, it just totally escaped my brain. I was looking at the card. What was I talking about? It was one of the fights. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:27 The other issue with Korme was, and it might have been the production team. I don't want to blame him because the production team, I've been telling him, like, oh, you know, stay in the, the octagon, stretch things out. We've got a time to fill. He let some of those post-fight interviews go on super long. And again, I don't know if that's his fault, so I'll put it on him and the production team. Like, you got to cut some of these people's, like, Mike. time. Steve, and some of these promos were fine.
Starting point is 00:06:49 Like, Stephen Aspen was a delight, but still went on. I thought a little too long. Yet here Del Valle, after nuking a 42-year-old man, just went on forever. And I'm sorry, I agree. I feel, you know, cool story. I know he did it for his coach who passed, and I was like, cool, cool, that's nice. But damn, some people were really allowed to ramble on the microphone. And I was like, I, it's not good.
Starting point is 00:07:10 It's not good for them. It's not good for us. So, again, I don't know if that was Cormey's fault or the production team saying to, you know, to make those interviews along. but please don't. Yeah, less is more. I think there's, less is more with a lot of stuff.
Starting point is 00:07:23 So this, this fight card, if it was the original nine fights, would have been a little bit easier, digest, but it wasn't a bad card. And actually, it turned out like the addition of the fights
Starting point is 00:07:35 actually kind of helped it because Miranda Soza was a banger. The Canuto, Carol Foro fight was a, was a heater as well. And then we got a sick knockout, comeback knockout from Miles John. who probably saved his job.
Starting point is 00:07:48 So, like, while I like less fights, these three were actually, like, pretty good additions to the card all and all. So let's talk about the big stories, A.K., a lot of discussion about Quill and Sal Kild and where he could go. He wants the top five guy. We talked at Nauseum on the post-fight show
Starting point is 00:08:06 about there's no chance he's getting either of those fighters. Not that, like, he doesn't deserve it, but they're just not going to fight him. Like, I don't even think Max Holloway's going to fight, like Usman or Maga Madaadoff. Like that fight makes way more sense for Max than Quillen does from like where he currently sits right now, which table he sits at in terms of star power and how big a fight could be. So he's just in a weird spot because beating a guy Gamor out the way he did it, yeah,
Starting point is 00:08:36 there is some squatting. There's been some squatting at lightweight for quite some time. But these guys, a lot of these guys have also like earned their way up in order to do that. Like Justin Gage has gone through the ringer. maybe not so much, but he's a superstar, and he put himself in that position. Armin has certainly paid his dues and shouldn't have to fight a Quill and Sal killed.
Starting point is 00:08:54 Patty got the stepback fight against Benoit Santany, a fight that a lot of people thought he should stay away from, and he won very quickly. And then Max is Max, who just beat Connor McGregor, no matter how you feel about it, he went out there and beat him and finished him. It's a first round finish for Max Holloway.
Starting point is 00:09:11 And he's a former champion and all that. So where do we, end up with for Quill and Salka? Because I really don't think there's a wrong answer. You put anybody in there with him that's in the top 15, outside of the top five, the bottom two-thirds of the top 15. All of those fights are fun.
Starting point is 00:09:28 All of them make sense. And they're all big fights and could be potentially in big spots. What did you land on? Well, anyone who watched us, watch the best friend's version of the post-fight show. You got a little bit of a spoiler because someone threw out a suggestion, Harmon-sur-I, Harman-sur-I
Starting point is 00:09:44 throughout suggestion. I want to shout him out. And also some other people sent us in, Corey Champlin, someone, and everyone else, I forget, I, I, had tip to you guys for this because I'm stealing it. I'm stealing it. I was so, like, stumped as far as what to do with Kwan Selkilled and, like, an opponent in the rankings that I like the idea of going outside of the 155 rankings for a guy who's coming to the division. And I think he's going to kind of bounce between 145 and 45 and just take, like, interesting fights because he has that kind of star power. I like the idea of Saul killed Diego Lopez. I don't know how much that does for Salkild as far as like, oh, if he beats Diego Lopez, like what does that mean for him as a contender?
Starting point is 00:10:22 I don't know. Again, I don't think anything is going to change that unless he managed to get one of those names in the top four, top five. And he's just not getting that now. So I think him getting someone with name value is important. So I know people would say like, oh, Diego, I wouldn't even put him in the top 10 at lightweight. Fair. He has a top 10 featherweight.
Starting point is 00:10:39 I think he's someone who can be competitive 155. He has a name. I thought that was so interesting. so inside the box. I don't know if that's what's going to happen, but I think it's a distinct possibility, and it would be, I think the matchup I would make if I could,
Starting point is 00:10:52 if I could wave my magic wand. I like that. I mean, I definitely love that fight. Yeah, it's a great fight. It's a great shout. I'm just going with what I,
Starting point is 00:11:01 what I think is going to happen. It's just got to be Raphael Fiziv. Like, that fight is an absolute banger. Like, Fiziv got his stepback fight. Absolutely annihilated Manuel Torres, got the star reaction from,
Starting point is 00:11:14 the Azerbaijan fans, like just, just massive stuff right there. So like, this is a big fight. Like, people love Fiziv and they're really starting to get on Team Salkhild as well. Do that. That's a main event fight. That's a fight night headliner, like outside of the United States or even if you go back to the, to the apex. Like that's an apex main event, certainly. So, yeah, anytime we can feature the lightweight division in big spots, let's do it.
Starting point is 00:11:42 And Fizib might get run over. It's possible, but Fizib might get Salkil too. Like Fiziv is a tough out for anybody in this division. So I think it's a good test. I would love to see Fiziv fight fight again at some point because that fight never, that fight was awesome for a round until Fizu got hurt. But I'd pick Fizib to beat Gamrot now anyways.
Starting point is 00:12:05 So yeah, let's just do that. See what happens. Salka gets a win, just boosts his star power a little bit more. and yeah, let's just do that. But again, they do Diego Lopez. I ain't going to have any issues with that. And I like the physique matchup too, because just keep giving him quality reps.
Starting point is 00:12:21 You know, like, I know when the rankings come out on Tuesday, both the meta and media, I assume he'll sell he'll be, you know, a few spots ahead of Fiziv now. And that's okay. Like, he can fight a little bit back and just keep building this resume because, you know, that's kind of how we used to build stars. It's not like an old man now. But yeah, you had to like win several tough fights.
Starting point is 00:12:38 I mean, some people did, some people did it. But we had some great champions who won several tough fights before getting that championship opportunity. And it helped them both as far as fan recognition and their skill set. Like, Kohn Salkild is not a finished product. He is awesome. And I think knocking out, Benile Darius is impressive. I know he's older, still impressive, submitting Matured-Gamon insanely impressive. Like, I know he's beating up veteran guys, but that's kind of what you have to do on the way up.
Starting point is 00:13:02 And again, as someone who picked Garmor to really give Salkild a tough time, I was just blown away. So, yeah, let's keep giving him veteran names. it's okay if he's fighting older guys and if people want to like write that off like oh eventually someone will do some stupid graphic mic where like uh... coon and salkal has not beaten a lightweight a ranked lightweight under the age of 34 or something and it's like fine you know we can nitpick these things i feel bad for him putting it out there but that's what we're going to say but that's okay i don't need to see him fight for a tell yet i don't need to see him in a number one contender fight yet let him keep building his name
Starting point is 00:13:32 and eventually when he gets a title shot will say yo this dude beat fazeve gamrash whoever whoever wherever or maybe he loses if he's i don't know but he's you know but he's you know been in these wars with these tough guys, and it'll just give him more credibility. So, yeah, I'm really excited for what's next for him, no matter what. Yeah. He liked the idea of Benoit Santinique. If they did that, that's fine, too.
Starting point is 00:13:47 Very good. Like, that's also a very good fight. I think that's most likely. Like, if I'm on the crystal ball, I think that's what they're going to do. Did you do in Paris? Yeah, yeah. I mean, it's quick turn. It's pretty quick.
Starting point is 00:13:58 It is a quick turnaround, yeah. It's like real quick. Yeah. Yeah, no, you can't turn in Paris. Too, way too fast. Even Santinis probably, what's Paris September, right? Yeah, it's like two weeks away. Yeah, I think Sunday's also that needs to chill after that patty loss.
Starting point is 00:14:11 Yeah, 100%. Speaking of lightweights, let's go to another veteran lightweight. Diego Faheda, who just kind of beat the bag out of Billy Q, fun fight. Billy Q is just always a gamer, always a trier. He's just too small for this division. But yeah, throw them in there with the lower rank lightweights and they're all going to be fun fights. Diego goes out there and gets a win. He wants to be a little more active.
Starting point is 00:14:34 There is a fight coming up. I don't remember exactly when it is. is coming up, okay? But Mason Jones is fighting Markel Maderos in the coming weeks. And I think Diego Faheda against the winner
Starting point is 00:14:48 of that fight makes a ton of sense, especially if it's Mason Jones, like that fight just bangs. And Markle-Madrhus is very fun too. So let's do Faheda versus the winner of that fight. Oh, that's happening at UFC Sacramento. That's kind of random. August 22nd.
Starting point is 00:15:02 Okay, yeah, I totally forgot about that. That's a great fight. Well, Mason's actually makes sense because Mason's an athlete. guy. Oh, okay. Yeah, it actually makes perfect sense. Oh, he's training at it.
Starting point is 00:15:10 All right. I love that. I went with one of the names Diego suggested because I was just one of those, I surprised that they had not been matched up, him and him and Jim Miller. And he mentioned King Green too, which is, I know a lot of people want to see because I think they've been booked. I think they've been booked before. I just didn't, it didn't happen.
Starting point is 00:15:25 So him and Jim Miller have never even been booked, which is crazy to me. And I don't know what's up next for Jim Miller. I don't think he's, uh, I'm heard any rumors about his next fight. I'm sure he's being, you know, a little more. I mean, he's never been choosy, but I'm sure he puts him more thought to how he wants to close out his career as he tries to get to like UFC fight number 50, which sounds insane.
Starting point is 00:15:43 Why can't Diego be one of them? Why can't Diego one of them? And, you know, that's a main card fight on a fight night. I would like to see, even on a numbered event. I mean, looking ahead, some of these cards, some of the fights are putting these numbered events. I think you could put Jim Miller and Diego pay down there and be just fine. But yeah, wherever it ends up,
Starting point is 00:15:58 I'd love to see these two veterans face off. These guys, they're still getting at it. Man, they're just so fun to watch. Yeah, 100%. This episode is brought to you by Accenture. When your advertising operations fall out of sync, everything else follows. SAP Grow is built with AI embedded at its core, working across every system. And it's ready to go from day one so you can hit the ground running.
Starting point is 00:16:54 Bring it with SAP Grow. AI Cloud ERP for any size business. Let's go to a guy I just cannot put my finger on. Yadir Del Valley. he just, I mean, look, it was a very sad way to end the damages career by him taking not a ton of damage. He just took one big shot and the fight was shortly over. And good post-fights feature from Del Valley. And then he called out Tommy McMillan, which he's just not going to get that fight,
Starting point is 00:17:21 especially with the fact that Tommy is booked. But hey, you know what? Something happens with the opponent. Maybe he slides in there. I don't know. But where did you land for Yadur Del Valley, who has had, one of just the weirdest starts to a UFC career than I can remember. Yeah, I landed, I want to give him a tougher experience test.
Starting point is 00:17:43 I landed on Khan Offley. Oh, I thought we're, I thought, oh, out of doubt it down. We were very close. Oh, I heard that. Getting the symbol, a little tapping the symbol there. Yeah, yeah. Just again, I'm just looking up at the ranking, someone who's in his range. I think within like eight or nine spots of him.
Starting point is 00:17:59 I think I have awfully slightly ahead. Offley's on a nice little streak. And yeah, let's keep testing this. guy because you're right Mike I don't know I don't know if I don't know if I think Del Valle is good if someone would ask me if it was strictly binary is this guy good or bad I think he's good but it is very hard to tell based on the opponents that he's face and of course the truly truly bizarre Isaac Del Garian fight yeah he's you know if for the golf enthusiasts out there if you're 140 yards out and you hit a pitching wedge to 30 feet that's what you out of
Starting point is 00:18:28 your Davao is a classic good not great that's just what I what I look at but I don't know again, I just don't know. I went with Kai Kamaka the third AK, a little veteran step up there. That's a stiff test. That's a stiff test. I like that. Yeah, we'll see how good he is.
Starting point is 00:18:46 I mean, we saw Luke Raleigh did, and we're very impressed with Luke, and we'll see if Yadir can do the same thing. Let us head to a member of Team Heck, Alexia Tynara, for our fantasy league. She goes out there and beats Amanda Lemosch, who I say this every time Amanda Lemosch fights. She is the most frustrating fighter to watch
Starting point is 00:19:03 in the UFC. It's just so tough to watch her because she, like, she is good. And I think she could have beat Julian Roberts in that night. And then she just, like, stopped doing the things that she did well. And then she had a good second round against Tyner. I had her hurt and then just, like, stopped doing stuff. It was just wild. And then Tyner just got real weird in the third round,
Starting point is 00:19:22 which is one of the reasons why I enjoy watching her fight so much. But another big win for her. Lupi Godinez is where we're going for Alexia Tyner. Okay, let's just keep banging. the drum and letting her take baby steps up the rankings. I believe Lupi is number seven in the media rankings. I think that's where she is. So yeah, I mean, this is, like this is the right fight.
Starting point is 00:19:45 I'm going a bigger jump, man. I want her to, I want her to fight Jan Shao Nan. Jan is book. She's fighting Denise Gomez using Shanghai, so at the end of the month. But also, Denise Gomez, if she wins, would also, like, I would launch her into the top six or top five. If she puts out a convincing influence against Yan, I'll be really impressed because Deniseie Gomez kind of like secretly been stringed together wins.
Starting point is 00:20:07 Not a lot of buzz around it. But she is a good, she is a good fighter. She's a dark horse contender. And I think the winner of that fight and Tainara, I mean, they're not going to get a title shot right away because we're assuming Jean Waley will come back at some point and actually fight the winner of McKenzie Dern versus Gillian Robertson, Julian Robertson, that is. And I mean, and then, you know, Zhang's going to lose to Gillian Robertson. And then Gillian Robertson will get the winner of Tainara Gomez.
Starting point is 00:20:34 I'm looking ahead. I don't mean to know too far into the future. But yes, right now I think let's keep the contender line moving. And let's go with Tynara and the Yon or Gomez winner. You do run the risk of Yon beating Gomez and beating Tynara and kind of just like bringing the contender line to Holtz because she already had her title fight. But Jan's really good. It's a good veteran test.
Starting point is 00:20:55 And I think Tenaura can beat either of these women. She just needs to keep developing. And a little head movement because she was eating some of those Lomotian punches a little too eagerly for my liking. And she did almost pay for it in round two, Mike. You're right. She got crack. And in round three, she still didn't stop.
Starting point is 00:21:08 She's coming forward, swinging while getting countered. And I'm like, again, thankfully, like she's, I think she's younger and she just had more volume and, you know, put more pressure on Lamoche. But damn, she was getting hit even in the third round. She's getting in a lot. Yeah, she's a monster in this division. She's so, she's so big. She's got to be careful.
Starting point is 00:21:25 Yeah. I know it's not a lot of heavy hit as well, Dean, but like still. Yeah. Lamos can crack, man. She can crack. She's basically a Banimate at one point. So speaking of heavy hitters, Stephen Aspland gets another win
Starting point is 00:21:36 and then gets a 15-minute post-fight interview with Daniel Cormeier inside the world's most famous apex. Where do we land here? I mean, we could just play a fun game of like 1, 2, 3-0. Hold on, wait a minute. Why are you skipped over Ty Miller? Oh, I did. Okay, go with Ty Miller because I forgot that fight even happened,
Starting point is 00:21:55 which is my bad because Ty Miller looks really good. So where did we land with Ty Miller? Yeah, and Stephen Aspen was the prelim, was like the last prelim. Was he? Was he? Yes, he was. I will say it now. Yes. Thankfully, we only had a five-flight main card, which is good for me because I have to do the predictions.
Starting point is 00:22:14 That was one less fight I had to do. But yes, I will tell people, Stephen Austin was my wild card anyway. So you will get a Stephen Aspen pick, Mike. But we'll go to Ty Miller first, who just put it on Billy Ray Gough for 15 seconds longer than he had to, thanks to Jason Herzog and a corner, which apparently had the, maybe had a fight goes to a decision i don't want to i don't want to cast aspersions like but i cannot think of any other reason why they sent him out there and essentially told him hey can you like dance around for another five minutes and not die uh it was a lot to ask because tie miller
Starting point is 00:22:45 pieced him up mike i'm pretty high on tie as a prospect now i think the ufc is too that's why they made this matchup um where do you see what do you see his ceiling right now i'll give my matchup pick in a second but like i like him like i get i get it he's a big he's a big 170 year, a lot of volume, fun to watch striking. I like his personality too. I like the, I have to go get bonuses because my contract sucks kind of stuff.
Starting point is 00:23:08 Like, I love that. Wait, did he, did he beg for a bonus and get it? No. He asked for a bonus and got it. Yeah. It's the first time in UC history. Well,
Starting point is 00:23:20 he's a contender series, guys. So like sometimes they'll make. Oh, okay, mitigates. Yeah, sometimes they'll make exceptions. Because they got a lot of finishes. They could have gone a lot of different directions. Like once they heard him say that, hey, can I get a bonus thing? They could have easily just said, oh, that's 100K.
Starting point is 00:23:32 We're not giving to this guy. Yeah. Wow, good for him. Good for him. That's life-changing money, man, for a guy in his second UFC fight. Good for you. Certainly. I want to just keep building him.
Starting point is 00:23:43 People know I have my rule. I'd like to see three wins if you're a prospect and I want to see three wins in a row before I really jump you up at like a consider a moment in the ranking. So I'm actually going back a little bit. This is why we have guys like Leon Shabazzian around, frankly, Mike. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. No disrespect.
Starting point is 00:23:57 Leon's a striker, I think it'll be fun, fun stand-up matchup. If you're Leon, hey, this is your chance to take the wind out of, you know, a highly touted prospect sales. If you're Ty Miller, more experience, hopefully a fun stand-up battle that you can, you know, get a score another knockout. Three and all in the UFC, well then we'll talk about a top 40, top 30 appointment. You know, I, Kay, we talk on these cards like, you know, who are the biggest winners and losers on this, at this event.
Starting point is 00:24:23 And you know what? I stand corrected with something I said, I believe a week ago at UFC Belgrade, because you want to know who the biggest winner of this card was, Obon Elliott, because he's getting another shot. He's getting another shot, and he's going to fight Ty Miller.
Starting point is 00:24:39 And it's not going to go well. I do you feel like you're doing Oban a favor here? He gets a paycheck, and he gets to save at least for a few more months. He's a UFC fighter, but this is why you keep Oban, this is why you perhaps might want to keep O'Von on the roster a little bit longer to fight the Ty Millers of the world because he's got a little bit of a name,
Starting point is 00:25:02 he's got a little bit of a following, and he is overachieved. And he's the perfect guy to go in there and just get obliterated by Ty Miller. And that's what is essentially going to happen. He first got Michael Alvara, now he's going to get the next big thing on the way up at 170. Wow. with Ty Miller.
Starting point is 00:25:23 So not a bad. I'm pretty happy with my pick that I just did literally on a whim because I forgot that that was a main card fight. Now I'm really curious where you went with Aspland. Well, I was going to go with RJ Harris just because Gable Steven's booked. So I was going to go with that. So you still, you think that's going to happen eventually.
Starting point is 00:25:42 You think Aspland is the, eventually when it's time for Steve, Gabe will to step up to another level of competition. You think it's Aspon's the guy who gets a call. So eventually. So like I was going to do Gable R.J. Because that was the him and Heinz was, which I thought was for the Gable sweepstakes.
Starting point is 00:26:01 But Gable was like, I'll fight at MSG. I didn't think he'd come back and fight so quickly, which is good for him. You forgot about Sean Chirap. Sean Chirap was waiting for that Gable call. Trust me. He's been seeing him.
Starting point is 00:26:09 Well, if I knew he's going to fight in L.A., then it was going to definitely be Sean Chirap. That was definitely the correct choice. Gable is going to wreck Sean. and then he's going to fight Guillermo Pat and he's going to beat him and then he could fight Stephen Asper. Before we start talking.
Starting point is 00:26:28 There's people out there like, yeah, just give Gable a top 10 guy right now. I'm like, I understand why you would want to do that. But like, he is, Gable is obviously super talented and he's got a skill set that is just going to destroy this entire division. But he is a little wet around the years, so to speak.
Starting point is 00:26:46 He is green still. so we have to like be super careful with him. Like if you throw cable in there to matter how you feel about him and his past and all that stuff, the UFC looks at him as a star as this is how we're going to build a star. He is going to be our champion. And once he wins the bell, he's going to be our heavyweight champion forever. We'll be able to tell we have the baddest man on the planet, undeniably.
Starting point is 00:27:06 But you can't have him going out there and like losing quickly or losing a fight so early. So like throwing him in there with like a Derek Lueb like a Sergei Spivak. Like what if you're like? he loses that fight. Like he could lose to Sergei Speedback. If Sergey just like survives around and just out veterans him, like, he could win. You never know. So it's very important to slow roll Gable, let him build a reel, get him to Asplen
Starting point is 00:27:33 because Asplen's going to build the shit out of that fight. It'll be super fun. Yeah, but Aspline can just go fight RJ now. And there's always one terrific round in this Stephen Asplin fight. That was, that was, we were on, we were getting a little sloggy there. round two, but then round three, like, they turned that shit back up and it was awesome. And Stephen Aswan is such a character. So they could do something with him.
Starting point is 00:27:56 He is what big, he is, they're going to do with Stephen Asson, what Belleter should have done with big tuna. I knew that was coming. I was like, where is it? Here comes the big tuna reference. Yeah. He is, he's the UFC Big Tuna in a lot of respects. I never, you guys know, I never got the big tuna thing. I was never, I didn't get it.
Starting point is 00:28:13 I didn't get it. I, it came and went. I missed it. I missed Big Tuna Mania. Yeah, because he was in Bellator. This episode is brought to you by Accenture. Starting point is 00:29:24 Listen, I'm not a fan of the guy for a variety of reasons. But I don't understand. I saw a lot of people complaining about the Shrachapatchap. Like, oh, why is he getting, this guy? Gable is what, four, no, three actual pro-M-A fights, right? I think it's four. I think he's a four. Four, four, yes.
Starting point is 00:29:41 Okay, three before. Right. And he's only 26. And I know extensive amount of combat sports, experience. Obviously, I'm not downplaying his, you know, incredible wrestling career. I don't, but we all know we've been through this with so many other prospects. We know MMA and other combat sports are so different. What is the rush, like you said, to throw him in there with like a Sergei Spivak, a Tabor,
Starting point is 00:30:03 and he'd be favored against all these guys. I understand, like, the athleticism gap and just the wrestling gap is so enormous, even at this stage of his young career. But like, you guys saw his fights in the regional scene. Like, they weren't all like wine and roses. The Alicia Ellison fight wasn't all wine and roses. Like, he's so raw. He's so raw.
Starting point is 00:30:21 I do not understand the urge to push him directly into the top. Excuse me. That was a terrible sound. You should edit that out later. I berth, like a child, like a baby, I think. I don't understand the urge to, like, potentially throw him to the wolves. Like, it's cool. Like, I get it.
Starting point is 00:30:36 You want to have this story where, oh, imagine he was fighting for the UFC title, like, by, like, his seventh pro fight. It's a cool story, and it's possible. I just don't think it's worth the risk right now. If the cards fall that way, then, like, great um but you have this heavyweight division where you have guys like sean shirath and r j harris really to to give guys like gable reps i'm sorry to say that's that's why they're there so um yeah i have no issue of the giraffe matchmaking and again i don't even care if he's we have to wait till the end of 2027 before he fights a ranked guy um that's fine let let him fight often and let him
Starting point is 00:31:11 get these names and um yeah you know hopefully we have like an actual heavyweight star that's Stop going sometimes. Gocom. GoCon, Syracom. Okay. That's it. No explanation. Yes.
Starting point is 00:31:26 I like it. For Aspaclin, guys. Sorry, I got off the track there. Brascon. I'm going with one of my stars of the event. Oh, for the wild card. Yeah, yeah. From a wild card.
Starting point is 00:31:37 Manuel Soza, I'm going with, who just had an absolute heater with Ritchie Miranda. Man, he's good. I thought it was awesome. Miranda's going to be a problem, too. now he's going to get some more reps throwing him in there with soza like soza is really good man he is like i was i was really impressed with him i was i was sold on him but i wasn't like overly sold on him now i'm like all right dude like you went in there and and battled richie who's i mean he is a month both these guys are huge with the division they're just massive lightweighs
Starting point is 00:32:07 we're i'm giving this man a step up i'm giving him a step up he is going to take on the always fun, always dangerous, always game, Matush Rambechki in his next fight. Oh, that is a great. UFC 333, Abu Dhabi in October. That's the fight. Featured prelim.
Starting point is 00:32:33 Congratulations, Mal Soza. Damn, let me see my rankings here because I'm pretty sure. I mean, Redoubt's not super high. It's not like he's, okay, I've got to get 35. I probably have him too low. You know, I probably haven't too low. I have him at 49. He should probably be higher after that way.
Starting point is 00:32:49 But in lightweight so deep. If I read some of the names ahead of Manuel Souza, I think he would be like, oh, yeah, those names have to be ahead of him. But there's probably some older guys that could bump down. So yeah, I think they're closer. Suza's really probably in the top 40, realistically. So, man, that'd be a fun fight.
Starting point is 00:33:04 I think they really have something with Manuel Susan. I completely agree. I actually have Sosa ranked slightly above Rebechke. right now. Yeah, I can see that. 35 for Soza, 36 for Batushran Betchki. I can see that. Nural Aliav right behind them. Yeah. So yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:21 You have him behind Aliav? You have him above Aliov. Yes, I do. Oh, I have Aliova at 33. Okay, interesting. It's all, it's all, it's close. It's all, it's basically like, if you fought and won recently, you inch your head. Tier of people, yeah. Exactly. So, all right, let's go to the peeps. We got about 20 minutes before we get a rock out of here. get a ton here, I don't think.
Starting point is 00:33:43 Let me just check real quick. Yeah, I only got a few. So I'll start with Tino Alvarez. It's been a minute since we've heard from the... God, Lee, man. It's been like three years since Tito was submitted. Holy smokes. It was an odd no regular for a while.
Starting point is 00:33:57 August 2023 was the last time he submitted. So welcome back to the party, Tito. Yeah, I hope you're all right, Tino. He likes Quill and Southfield versus Benwassanty. He likes CDF versus King Green, Del Valle versus Danny Silva. Perhaps you should probably check out the news cycle when it comes to
Starting point is 00:34:15 Danny Silva. It's not doing very well. Get well soon. Get well soon. Alexia Tynera versus the winner of Denise Gomes versus John John Ani. I saw a lot of that, yeah. I saw either winner, winner, loser, win-loser, win-loser draw, like one of those names. I saw a lot of people who work with me on that.
Starting point is 00:34:31 Yeah. Ty Miller versus Jean-Paul LeBois-Noyani. I'm very high in John Paul, though. So I don't know. I don't they want to do that's a good one that's a core curve of a matchup absolutely asselin versus towson de sherra d r nergazi versus the winner of umar c versus modestis bucassas and manuel soza versus cote steel and we know cody's not going to wrestle so that'll be a really fun fight i don't know what to make
Starting point is 00:34:56 of d r i don't want to go a whole d r thing but like i don't know i've no that's that would be a ranked opponent i think right modestis or umar oh no modestis is ranked i think i don't think maybe Maybe not. Maybe not. But it's close. I feel like it's French. So it wouldn't get him a number. But yeah, I don't know. I don't know what to make a DR so far. I know some people are very high on him. I just haven't got a read yet. I think he's one to watch. That's really my, my, what I would say. Modessa is not ranked in either rankings. Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:23 So there you have it. Left lane. Need to start with this because I watch the post-fight show. And even though I get your point, the idea that all the top five guys are just beyond fighting down is infuriating. As far as I'm concerned, Max Holloway is coming off of 50-44 loss and shouldn't be owed anything for that shit show against Connor McGregor. Why are we acting like Conner's just definitely coming back and we have to pause Max Holloway's career to make sure that's the fight. He should be the one fighting down, Ilya versus Patty, Charles out for as long as he needs to be. Armin gets the shot after he beats Riffy, it should 100% be Max versus Quillan.
Starting point is 00:35:56 But that's not how things will go unfortunately. So that's our point. not saying that it should be that way but that's the way it is it's just the way it is some things will never change just like the big song in the 1980s that's right so Bruce Hornsby
Starting point is 00:36:13 I believe that is so yeah Max is just not going to take that fight he's not hurting for money he doesn't have to fight he's going to go in there and just be like dude I'll wait for Connor and fight Justin and if I if like they don't give me those fights and like I'll just sit out
Starting point is 00:36:28 and play video games It's not even, and honestly, I don't even think they're going to offer it to them. Yeah, no way. I don't even think they're going to offer it to them. It's just not. I love the Uspin idea and the Diego Lopez idea. Yeah. If they did, if he called Ousman and Amaga made up, that would have been incredible, incredible.
Starting point is 00:36:47 But Lefling says, because of all this, Quillin versus BSD, no juice, but feel like they just give Gamrodot to Uspin on the Abu Dhabi paper view. Oh, yeah. Oh, interesting. Yeah, but I mean, I don't know. know if he's going to be able to be signed by then because I think PFL is like a 90 day exclusive window so I'm trying to think July
Starting point is 00:37:08 August September 10th be like right at the end and even for Gamrod that's kind of a quick turnaround it's like a little less than three months that's kind of a brick turnaround for Gamron his face shattered he's probably going to take the rest of year off just kind of reassess things with you my guess
Starting point is 00:37:22 CDF versus Rebovich after he beats Barbosa Delvali versus Crod Tyner versus the co-main loser next weekend, which he's predicting is Julian Robertson. Miller
Starting point is 00:37:34 Ty Miller versus cheating Joaquini after he loses to Joel Alvarez. Aspland versus Ty after he loses to Despain, that'll be the fight to break Ferguson's losing streak. They cannot keep Ty on after he loses to Spain, right? This is, he's got What if he be? He might just beat
Starting point is 00:37:54 to Spain. He might just go and beat him. It's possible. I'm never picking Ty to win a fight again. I'm just talking to it right now. I'm not thinking that would be anything. I can't. Nergazai versus Kuchelaba, Montania versus Peterson. Sutherland will be Gable's opponent at MSG
Starting point is 00:38:10 after he beat Sharoff. I actually think, I mean, you're on the right track. Like, this is the type, this is the opponent, uh, opponent type for sure. Johns versus Luna,
Starting point is 00:38:21 Miller versus Duben, 4-0 versus Artileon, who's always down to scrap. That'd actually be really fun. And I think that's all I got. That was a good fix. I like that. Yeah, I love the 4R or a Gileon one.
Starting point is 00:38:33 That's good. I'm a dollar that. Do we have a John Ray one? We do have a John Ray one. 4-O versus Bannon, Miller versus Horth at UFC Edmonton, October 17th. Yeah. That's fine. Okay.
Starting point is 00:38:46 That's fine. Johns versus Levin. Are we just making John's a featherweight now? I don't know, because I assume this was just they took it at featherweight because he was, he was supposed to be a bandweight fight. Yeah. And then. Obviously, Jesse was taking it. on very short notice.
Starting point is 00:39:02 So they're like, oh, let's do 145. And then Johnny comes in and takes it on. Well, I think the plan was originally Bannamway, but Vasquez took the fight on like two days notice. Yeah, yeah. No, no, the fight with Jesse was a featherweight fight. I was like, but that was also only set up on like, that was, yeah, that was quick.
Starting point is 00:39:19 Something, yes. Not even. Not even, right? Two weeks. Yeah, it was very quick. Yeah, it was very quick. That was one of the three additions. I think it to make it easy for both guys.
Starting point is 00:39:26 Yeah, yeah, let's just do 145. And then obviously, once Johnny steps in, Johnny, who was prepping for a 100, 125, five pound belt by the way. So at least we know he wasn't going to miss weight at 145. Yeah. So then maybe he's six around 145. That wasn't my understanding. I thought it was just sort of a one-off for now.
Starting point is 00:39:44 And then go back to 135. But whatever, he fought 145 if you want to make those matchups. I don't think that's how to fight. Soza versus Moda, Montania versus Denise, Nergazai versus Ibo Aslan, Asplen versus Steven after he eats his next opponent. In parentheses, I know Ben Fulks wants Gabel versus top top.
Starting point is 00:40:01 10 guy, but I'm not ready. I am also not ready, and I won't be ready after this. I'm not even ready for Aspline yet. Yeah, and I love Ben. Ben. Ben is one of my, one of my favorite people in the Mace space. But, yeah, I wholeheartedly disagree that we need to throw Gable to the wolves right now. Yeah. Ty Miller versus Obon Elliott.
Starting point is 00:40:17 There you go, John. You get it. Tidar versus Piero Rodriguez, only because the meta rankings has are in the top eight above Alexia, which I think is tremendously funny. Pierre Rodriguez? Yeah, Pierre is ranked number seven in the meta rankings. Wow. she didn't know.
Starting point is 00:40:32 She won't be after this. I'm sure Tyner will be above her. Del Valle versus Stephen Wynn, CDF versus Ludwig Klein, Quill and Selkilde versus Raphael Fizzie. And you're up, A.K. All right. I got quite a few,
Starting point is 00:40:46 but I know you've got to get out here in like 10 minutes. I'll try to drag this on too long. One that multiple people have, which I liked, was Diego Paheda and Drew Dover, because they were booked twice. I forgot this, this has fallen through twice. Maybe we need to close this loop, so I like that. A lot of people like Tynera versus a Gendroba or Suarez,
Starting point is 00:41:04 which makes a lot of sense. I just, I don't know why. I feel like they'll get booked against other people. A couple of people ask, my guy, guys with us, Ty Miller,
Starting point is 00:41:13 Chris Curtis. Wow. MMA patron asking, is this too much too soon? I think it is way too much, way too much too soon. But Chris does have some weird, like,
Starting point is 00:41:24 performances where he just, like, does not beat guys who you think he should be. So I think he would, clear Ty Miller, but I don't know, man, that's a tough fight. Chris is, Chris is battle-torn at this point. If they do it, fine, but I would like,
Starting point is 00:41:40 if you do the Oban, like, you do the Oban or whatever in one of the fight you suggested, and he wins that, like, cleanly and easily, then yeah, we can talk Chris. Let's get another win or two before we start talking about Chris Curtis. Okay, I think so. And for everyone, J.B. Barre-Ru-Rilly, Friends Forever,
Starting point is 00:41:56 Ty Miller, Brazil, Leon Shabazzian. I want to shout that up. Okay, Hesi, welcome to the party. pal first timer so first time sending a picks keep up a good work uh saw killed versus b sd for ufc paris komein again we kind of mentioned might be a little too soon gamrod tom nolan tyner versus batima klein number one contender fight um i don't think it would be a number one contender fight again just because jang well klein's gonna fight klein probably has to play like tatyana yeah that's that's probably the fight uh m m m msaintain patron i think you hesi by the way M.A patron, Lemosch, Angela Hill 2.
Starting point is 00:42:33 Devalet versus Fili. I thought that was what he was going to do. I thought he was going to call him out because he was there. The alpha male killer. Gamrod v. Rupi. After he loses to Sarukhian. Yeah. Yes, that actually makes a lot of sense.
Starting point is 00:42:46 Okay, sure. Corey Champlain, Ty Miller, Veritenikov, Gamrod Santay. Yeah, I'd see that. Braden. Gamrod v. Viziv too. Mike, you mentioned it. They barely got to fight the first time. I think a few people recommended this.
Starting point is 00:42:58 Del Valle versus Christian Rodriguez. that would be a real test. That would tell me a lot about Del Valle, which I really want to know. Nurkazai, Zhang Mingyang, yeah. Okay, let me keep moving along here. Four Corner Sports. Saul Killed versus Moikano Ortega winner.
Starting point is 00:43:20 Yeah. I saw a lot of people want to say him beat up Ortega. I'm not sure why. Frod, Yonji Vasquez versus Adrian Luna, Martineti. I don't know what weight class Gianni's going to fight out next I'll be honestly It could be 135
Starting point is 00:43:36 Could be 135 I know Let's see what else you got here Barry O'Reilly Foro versus Loma Lufumi I like that Juliana Miller versus Anna Melasano A little tough on tough action Johns versus Alexandre
Starting point is 00:43:50 Toporia Where is he? Where is this guy? I don't know Helping his brother recover I guess from Yeah Mike how do you like this from Barry O'Reilly
Starting point is 00:44:00 Montana versus Buccecha? Um, no. Come on. No. Come on. Nope. Bucre should only be fighting Moe Uspin in like a seven game series.
Starting point is 00:44:17 I still want to see Bucceca fight Gable. Oh, my God. That'd be so funny. How dare you? That'd be the funniest, one of the funniest fights of this decade. I was in 202026 of this decade. I honestly don't even know. I mean, I think Gable will just destroy him, but I honestly don't know.
Starting point is 00:44:31 so funny. Armand Strickie on Stand account. Just one thing. Aspland versus bring back Chris Barnett one last time. That'd be so fun. I love it. I love it. And that would make me just very sad.
Starting point is 00:44:46 No. Why? Yeah. That's just because he would just get tackled and beat up. You're talking about Chris Barnett? Yeah. Come on. I don't want to see Chris.
Starting point is 00:44:55 Come on. Come on. Like that. Let me switch over to my emails here. We got another first timer. Welcome to the Party. pal matthew stormant hey a k long time listener first time picker here are my picks cell kid versus sel kill dego lopez 45 love it gamrot nolan diego ferreira drew dober yep we got to close
Starting point is 00:45:12 that loop uh y db versus c rod tinarra versus lupy there go mike asplon asplan versus gaseev kennedy and suchu loser okay manuel suza matthias camillo bonus pick usman debuts against BSD next year. Hmm. Interesting. Interesting. Interesting. Interesting. Okay. Justin Gordet, a few that were already read. Aspline versus Bozer. Yeah, it's probably happening sometime.
Starting point is 00:45:39 Casey Carpenter. My Casey Ryan, to let you know. You remember he ran into you. He says he wouldn't have known it was you if it wasn't for the Red Sox hat. I did see him on an airplane. He says, I only know you guys will see by your voices. There you go. DeValle versus Riley, all the heavy rates versus whoever. He just kind of gave up on that. Eli Hittala, why did I want to read this? Eli had some comment about, where is he?
Starting point is 00:46:07 Only one for me this time might not be a proper choice. Aspland versus to Spain after he puts tie out to pasture, I believe Asplin will go out swinging and bang with Spain. That's all we really want from this fight. No takedown threat and the possibility of a bloody war. I would love to see that, actually. Sure. I'm down. I'm into that.
Starting point is 00:46:25 Jay Donaggy, Ty Miller versus Urbina. I just wrote this down because I assume Arbina would want to stay at middleweight where he actually won a fight. But I don't know. I don't think he made any guarantee. I think he should stay at 185. Lucas Cortez says, I do remember thinking, let's never do D.C. solo commentary again.
Starting point is 00:46:42 Cruz's solo commentary reminded me how intelligent Dominic Cruz could be. That's true. And then D.C. remind me how bad he can be. Yeah, not great. Oh, I should have saved this for last. Mike, are you sitting down? I am actually sitting down. Sal Killed versus Dustin Porrier.
Starting point is 00:47:00 What? Okay, hold on. This is what Lucas says. That's right. Let's bring Dustin out of retirement for this matchup. During the post show, he was visibly upset about Salkild beating his friend, Yamrod. He also mentioned how hard retirement is. No one in the top five will fight Salkild.
Starting point is 00:47:14 Let's fix these problems. Call me crazy now, but I want all the Ano points when it happens. Sure. You can have all the Ano points at that. happens. I don't hate the logic. It's not going to happen, but, man, imagine if Foray wanted to come back, I think that's a name that they would,
Starting point is 00:47:32 they would put him in with. Uh, no. No, I don't, I just don't see it. Don't you remember when they kind of were going to use him to like kind of, to prop up BSD? Remember they thought BSD was going to run through him and give BSD a tell shot? And then, you know, they don't mind putting him in there with guys who were like, yeah, but then like Dustin went in there and gave Islam Makachev like the toughest fight of his
Starting point is 00:47:52 career second tough fight of his career like there's just no way that like if Dustin's coming back he ain't coming back to fight Quillan Salkild he's coming back to like fight Justin Gachey or Connor McGregor again I don't know Lucas I'm with you Lucas I'm with you I like it I like it okay
Starting point is 00:48:07 real quick to Instagram J.B. DaValle versus one oh I didn't want to read this out because sorry this was a this was dude so sorry Javier I meant to not put you on boss for that Aspland versus Hines how about that Alex Van Dam Sal Kill versus Chilett yeah I love it. Selkiff is Pimba.
Starting point is 00:48:23 I would love that. What else we got? Gerard Biagin. Del Valle, Erosa. I mean, both guys would just beat up Elkins. Yeah, sure. Why not? Thomas Collins, Nergazai, Kutalaba.
Starting point is 00:48:33 Yeah, that feels destined. That feels right. Harry Newhouse. Selkilled Charles Olivera. I'd love to see that, too. It's not going to happen. Friends Forever. Del Valle, Offley.
Starting point is 00:48:43 Aspline to share, Montagna, Denise. John Sopai. Foro versus Carolina Kovalkovich, so I keep forgetting. He's not retired. And Mike, I'll close out. with this. CV says he wants to see
Starting point is 00:48:54 Matush versus Matush Gamrod versus Rebetsky. Loser has to take a Z off their name. Loser loses the Z. Just Mattias, because Mattias. So stakes are high.
Starting point is 00:49:05 So CB, I like that pick. Guys, we will not be we will not be taking too many submissions next week because Mike will be live. We will be live. We will be live. It's going to be a busy few weeks.
Starting point is 00:49:16 No doubt about it. I do have one more listener selection. I forgot. Shout out to Trevor Niren. Sal killed versus the Moikano Ortega winner. Not sure if you can get anyone in the top five yet. I tried matchmaking for the rest of this card and I got nothing.
Starting point is 00:49:31 Good luck. Also, I called Cheeto versus Jordan. Oh, there you go. Well done. I think a few people did, though. I think people were saying that was one of the worst cat matching secrets in like that that was going to happen. April 18th is when he submitted this. This is after Charles's most recent victory.
Starting point is 00:49:48 So there you have it. That is matchmaking for UFC Vegas 120. As you said, UFC 330 next week. And boy, this is a card, my friends. We do have the best pound for a front fighter in the world competing at the top. So that's good. Islam Machachev defending the welterweight title against Ian Machado, Gary. The funniest thing in the MMA history could happen out of this fight.
Starting point is 00:50:13 So don't miss the watch party. McKenzie Dern defends the strawweight title against Julian Robertson. They featured bout in the flyweight division. Charles Johnson versus Jose Ochoa. Where did this fight come from? Was this fight like it wasn't booked for this car? Am I crazy? This fight was not.
Starting point is 00:50:29 It was on the freelance or whatever. It was on the car. It was booked. I talked to Charles Johnson in Vegas on the red carpet for the fighters only awards. And he said he had a fight booked. And it was got to be UFC 330. You wouldn't tell me what it was.
Starting point is 00:50:45 But there you go. Like a month's notice. There you go. The second main card match. In the middleweight division, Mansour Abdul Malik taking on Dustin Stoltzvist. That is going to be fun, but that is also a main card fight on a numbered event in 2026.
Starting point is 00:51:04 Edsibarboza versus Esteban Rivich kicking off the main card, featured prelim, Chidi and Jokwani versus Joel Alvarez. That is fun to feature prelim. Gieland Turner versus Kawee Fernandez. Dante Johnson versus Eric McConico. Okay. Vicente Lucay versus Trayshon Gorson Gors.
Starting point is 00:51:21 and then we got Raphael Tobias versus Lucas Fernando. Oh, boy. Yeah, Neil Magny versus Ramiz Rahimaj. And then the first fight, the curtain jerker for UFC 330 is a welterweight matchup. Between, I believe, the only Philadelphia guy, Jeremiah Wells, taking on Mick Debec Worldwide. Okay.
Starting point is 00:51:49 Cool. Oh, Dustin Stoltzvist. from Lancaster. Oh, there we go. There you go. No John Brady. No Joe Piper.
Starting point is 00:51:58 Joe Piper's going to be resting at RAS. Against Luke Rockold. What a time to be a mixed martial arts and combat sports fan, ladies and gentlemen. So, yes, UFC 330. Coming at you. Anything but Fighting's with Jose Young's. I believe kickoff tomorrow. He'll be recording those.
Starting point is 00:52:16 We have Meaty Day on Wednesday. So if you were looking forward to seeing what Ian Machado, Gary has to say, he'll probably be up for 30 minutes so be prepared and be ready and then we'll have the press conference on Thursday weigh-ins on Friday preview show Friday Saturday watch party Sunday a live edition
