And welcome to a brand new episode of On to the next one, post-UFC Rio edition.
This is the voice of Alexander K. Lee.
And I'm flying solo this week without my best friend, Mike Heck, just unavailable today.
Everything's good, guys.
Nothing bad on Mike's end.
Probably just enjoying a day off, some time with family.
The man deserves that he works hard.
And honestly, you're probably a little sick of hearing from Mike and I this week.
We were on, I think we did between the links together.
We did the preview show.
and we did the Post Fight Show.
So you already heard our thoughts on Saturday's card.
I'll go over some of them again today,
but if you want the full rundown of everything that happened
with Charles Olivera's big win over Meteu Jammert,
Davison Figurado.
You know, Sean Unks still got it in the co-main event.
A slightly disappointing performance from Montel Jackson there too, by the way.
Joel Alvarez moving up to Welterweight for a quite morose fight
with, I actually say morbid, not morose,
with Vicente Lucke.
I'll talk about that a little bit as we get to the picks for each fighter.
Mario Pinto, maybe stealing the show with the hilarious post-fight promo,
Khan awfully cheating his butt off to get a win and so much more.
Some other questionable officiating, some commentary, controversy, all that stuff.
So I won't get into all of it now on this episode, guys.
But again, check out the post-fight show.
You can see both what Mike and I had to say about everything that happened in Rio.
Big shout out, of course, to our own Guillermo Cruz,
who has been on site all week, asking the tough questions, bring you guys a great video.
Got an awesome video of the crowd just going absolutely nuts for Charles Olivaura at the UFC Rio Main event.
And pointing out that it's just insane that since Charles joined the UFC back in what, 20, my gosh, Charles has been around forever.
What we're talking about?
2010.
Charles Olivaire has been the UFC for 15 years.
This was the first time he actually got to a main event in Brazil, which is crazy.
He's fought in Brazil many times, of course, before the UFC in the UFC is now officially 18 and
when fighting on home soil after that absolutely incredible submission to Matisse Garberat.
Now, I got a lot of listener picks this week.
So this is great.
I'm not really on my own.
This is like a me and the listener's show.
So let's get right to it because it's going to be a big segment, I think, going to the listeners.
You guys had some great picks, funny comments, some angry comments maybe about some of the performances,
some of the fighters put on, and I was looking forward to reading that stuff.
So, right at the top, this is the easiest pick we're going to have, right?
I mean, Charles Olivera beats Matish Gamarach, just dominates him on the ground.
Such a pleasure to watch this man go to work in his element.
I know there's people that are going to question, well, why did Gamrodge was, why was he so
aggressive grappling early on, at least in round one, in round two is really Charles that made it happen.
But Gamrot definitely initiated the grappling round one.
shout out to my friend Stevie
who suggested that maybe that's a Gamrod would do
he said he thought Gamrod would maybe try to tackle Charles
test his guard game
and I kind of see the logic there
like you know it's unexpected
and you know Gamrod's a different opponent
than Fazeve right so maybe he thought okay well
he replaced Fassiv
maybe Dolbronks hasn't had as much time
to prepare for the grappling
not that he needs that much time he's friggin'
Charles Alvara but you know maybe he wouldn't expect
that kind of aggression early on and
I mean, Gamrock got the takedown, couldn't do much with it. Sure enough, you know, Charles
eventually reversed things and then round two just took over on the ground. I would have like
seen Gamrod maybe just try and stick to the striking, especially as he was actually having
a lot of success catching Oliver's chin. Mike and I had said on the preview show, like if he
fights Gamrodot, like he fights Toporia, this could end badly because Gamrod has some pop. But sure
enough, Charles is his usual berserk herself, just coming forward the whole time and taking a few shots
in the chin, but thankfully not getting caught by a, you know, one just complete put-down shot.
And he did what he does and got this mission.
I mean, Charles is just an absolute beast.
There's a reason we love this guy.
And afterwards, he called for a fight with Max Holloway.
This is the way to go.
I saw a lot of suggestions, a different suggestion, surprisingly.
I'll get to those later.
But, listen, they fought a lifetime ago.
We barely even register that result because it ended with a Charles injury.
You know, and maybe you could say that at the time, this is at Featherweight, by the way.
Both guys were so young at the time.
You know, maybe Max wouldn't have won that fight anyway, but we never really got the chance to find out.
Because I always thought they could have run it back.
I guess the timing at some point never worked out.
You know, Max started making his charge of the featherweight ranks for a telecontention.
Charles Olavera eventually moved up to lightweight.
And, you know, and it seemed like their paths wouldn't logically cross again.
But over the past couple of years, there's been a couple of instances where we have said,
hey, maybe it's time to run this rematch back.
And I don't think there's ever been a better time with Max having the BMF belts.
Both fighters have done already pretty much everything that you can do at the highest levels of MMA.
Could we see these guys fight for one of the UFC's undisputed titles again someday?
Sure.
Of course it could happen.
They're both great fighters.
Both great fighters.
I think have a lot of years left in them.
They have great name value.
But right now, I don't think that's what they need to focus on.
I think giving the fans, given the fans,
this amazing fight, this amazing rematchery great.
If we could have it in Sastatune again, they'd be even better.
I somehow doubt that's the way the UFC is going to go for it,
because this is a pay-of-view headliner, guys, so it's going to go that way.
I got no surprises here.
You guys had surprising picks.
You guys might be upset with each other.
You guys have fight it out amongst yourselves, right?
I won't get into it.
I respect everyone's choices, okay, everyone's picks.
In the co-main event, two-time flyway champion Davidson Figurito needed to get up the Shaniad,
and he certainly did enough to do it,
Not the most dominant performance, not the most exciting performance,
certainly a better performance than his opponent, Montel Jackson.
He's coming off, Figgi was coming off of losses to Corey Sanhagan and Piotr Yon.
It looked like it was kind of, you know, bumping him well out of title contention.
But get that win, you're back on track just enough, just enough.
And we know at the pace that Marab Doge really runs through title challengers,
well, maybe Figgie gets the call with one or two more wins.
So, you know, he knows, I think he just needs to stay busy, beat another top 15 opponent.
and, you know, he, I'm trying not to harbor this too much, guys, because I know if you saw
the pre-the-post-fight show, Mike and I were very hard on our guy, Montel Jackson, we're both
big Montel Jackson fans, he's interviewed Montel multiple times, I've spoken to Montel before.
You know, we like the guy, just a fun fighter, a guy who's had bad luck with health, and we
always felt like had the skills, and still do feel like this guy absolutely has the skills to be
a top five band to win in the world. And this was going to be his chance to finally,
crack the top 10.
He had a number next to his name in the UFC's official rankings.
He was in there number 15.
But this would have been a surefire top 10.
Everyone who does their own rankings, enemy fighting, you know, we didn't have Montel in there,
but he would have cracked the top 10 if he beat Figgie.
And it just didn't happen.
It just didn't happen.
So I don't know what's next for Montel.
I think he still has a lot of good years left, and we'll see.
I think we'll see if just get some fun fights.
And maybe he surprises us.
Montel, if you're out there, man, prove us all wrong, prove all the doubters wrong,
put together another three, four, five-fight win streak and get that title shot.
I would still love to see it happen.
It was a bit of a let-down performance on Saturday, and it happens, right?
But Figgie, not a let-down for him, man.
He did enough to win.
Say what you want about the fight being pretty forgettable.
One, I don't think it should have been a split decision.
I certainly would have had it 29, 28-Figuero, but, hey, when you don't push the pace
and you don't go for a finish, you're kind of going to leave yourself in that kind of situation.
Either way, I think Song Yadong is the way to go.
I've seen other people suggest this on previous episodes of On to the Next One.
I think after the Sanhagen loss, people thought like, oh, well, depending how long he's out,
maybe it'll make sense for him to fight Song Yadong when he comes back.
Well, Figgi came back, I think, a lot sooner than most of us expected.
And he's got, I think he needs another top 10 person, top 10, top 12, wherever you want to put
Song Yadong, and Song's still waiting for a fight, man.
And so let's make this happen.
Let's keep both guys in the title mix.
Songs another guy wouldn't write off as a title challenger someday.
Certainly further along than Montel Jackson has been.
Like, you know, if we're talking about guys who are like, ooh, you know,
are they ever going to break into that top five?
Like, we know they're talented.
Songs definitely further ahead.
But how far ahead is he?
I don't know.
Let's see how he'd fare against Figgie because Figgie's a really tough test for him.
I think it's a really tough test for Song Yidong.
I'll tell you right now, a lot of listeners, this is pretty much we're all on the same page here
with what to do with Deustogera.
Joelle Alvarez.
Now, this is a weird one.
Because Joelle, given, you know, this is his first fight at 170,
he's been a monster lightweight for the longest time,
standing six foot three, just looks freakishly large.
Every time he steps into the octagon,
he's always towering over his opponents.
Every time he steps to the scale, and for the most part makes it,
I think he's had a couple of slip-ups on the scale.
When he makes it, it's like a miracle.
how the hell is the guy doing it?
So I am very glad that he made the decision to move up to 170.
I think a lot of us were saying this for a while.
Him and him and Jalen Turner for the longest time.
We were like, just bite the bullet, go to 170.
I have to imagine that maybe they're giving up some sort of strength.
You know, they're kind of tall, lanky guys that they're giving up strength at 170.
There's a lot of good wrestlers of 170.
That's another issue.
If that's something they're trying to avoid.
So I get it.
I get it.
But this is the right move for Joel Alvarez now.
I don't think he's ruled out a return to 155.
So if you guys have ideas for lightweight matchups for Joel Alvarez, I mean, keep him coming, but I hope he stays here.
A win over Vicente Lucay still looks good to me, though I think we can all agree that Lucay is a little bit at the end of his rope here.
Just couldn't get up, man.
I mean, just was clearly dominated.
It looked like Joel Alvarez could have finished him in the third round if you wanted to.
chose not to, perhaps chose not to.
Maybe that's not giving
Vicente Lucana of credit, but
most of us seem to agree
that Joelle could have gotten
a finish and kept a street going. Could have made it.
23 wins, 23 finishes, goes to a
unanimous position win for the first time, and
that's okay. I'm going with a weird choice here, guys.
Like I said, he's in an odd spot because I don't think
the matchmakers
loved what they saw.
Even though he kind of took care of business
and, you know, beat a higher ranked guy
in his first UFC fight at 170
I bet they would have wanted to see a finish.
I bet they would have wanted to see a finish.
So he doesn't get, for me, he doesn't get a top 15 guy.
I'm sure that's what everyone's thinking.
I'm actually going back a little bit.
I'm going against another welterweight who changed divisions.
Came from middleweight down, so he's coming from the other direction.
I think Punis Suriana would be a really fun fight for Joel Averis.
I don't know if people think, we'll hear this and think, well, Joel has a little bit of a bigger name.
He just beat a top 15, top 20 guy.
Isn't it?
Is that fair to him?
Again, because he didn't finish, I think the matchmakers are not in a hurry to rush him up.
Puna is the same age as him.
I think they're both 32.
I think they're actually very much at similar stages of their careers.
And I really want to know how good Puna is because, again, he's 3 in 0 since moving up to 170.
He's looking good.
Sorry, moving down to 170, excuse me.
And a fun match, fun style matchup for sure.
Very, very tough test for Joel Alvarez.
Joel would definitely be a favorite.
You'd probably be at least minus 250, I'm thinking.
but that's a live dog for me for Pune is in that scenario so I that's the direction I went
I know I know you guys are rolling your eyes with no he needs to go top 15 top 20 there's all these
veterans up there he can fight you know more veterans that are taking out Lucke would not surprise me
at all if that's the way they go this is maybe more of a magic wand pick I just want to see him
tested a bit more and I want to see if the non-finish was you know for the reasons that I'm
thinking that he just didn't want to finish or if it's a bit tougher for him to get these
finishes now that he's at 170.
And we'll say, and Soriano's really tough.
So if he gets back to his finishing ways against Puna, we're definitely talking top 15,
no problem.
Love to see how the division shakes up over the next six months and see what's waiting for
Joala Alvarez there.
He could really be a contender in this division.
How great was Mario Pinto?
How great was I, I cannot stop talking about how funny it is, the no English thing.
For anyone who was, I don't keep up with the contender series enough, I admit, and for anyone
who watched him the contender series, they knew.
They weren't fooled by his whole I don't speak English thing.
He took kind of a fake Portuguese accent.
I mean, he is from Portugal, but he's, I believe, raised in, I don't know if he raised him,
but spent enough time in London, England, and fights out of there.
They actually has an English accent, which was hilarious.
But I didn't know that.
So I was fooled when he said, I don't speak English, and then spoken Portuguese to, you know,
for the Brazilian crowd, smart thing to do, you're in Brazil.
And then afterwards said that, oh, I'm practicing my English.
Let me see if I can get this out.
And it cuts another 90-second promo, just thinking, you know.
team and again very very subtly selling the joke you don't see this a lot in it
like he didn't like laugh at his own at what he did he didn't go like oh oh I'm just kidding I
speak English he just let the joke speak for itself and just let it run and the longer it went
on the funnier it got so really one of the funniest promos of the year one of the most
unique post-prite promos I've seen and for anyone who you know was it was well aware that
he can speak English from seeing me on contender series or just following his career before
that thank you for not spoiling the joke for us that was that was great I'm going
Going Brando Perichich.
Brando Perich, guys.
He just fought.
He fought in Perth.
It was a weird, like, it was one of those fights where I'm like, man, this is, we kind of, I'll be honest, we kind of crapped on it a little bit.
It was him and Alicia Ellison.
It was very low on the prelims, his heavyweight bout.
And we were saying, like, this is a ridiculous fight to put on this card because in front of a crowd at the RSC arena, because,
Perichess Ellison was supposed to be a contender series fight.
And I can't remember why.
For some reason, they got moved.
I guess, again, you know, Brando Perichus from the region, I suppose.
And they're like, hey, well, this is one more local fighter.
Local, sorry, guys.
It's like Australia is so small.
Local fighter that we can put on there and to please the crowd.
It's fine.
He delivered.
I'm sure he actually did have friends and family there, so that's great.
And they worked out.
I'm just avoiding pushing Pinto too far.
I know I'm doing the same thing I just said with Alphras.
I'm sure you guys tired of this crap.
So I want to find someone with similar experience,
though Pinto actually may be way too experienced for Pertritch right now.
But I want to just let Pinto kind of shine and keep doing what he's doing.
If you want to put him against him the top 20 at heavyweight, have at it.
I know there's a lot of veterans out there, but I still think he's a work in progress.
Great power.
I mean, if you saw his contender series fight, just lands this, like, glancing boop that floors his opponent.
Like he has real, real, real short power, which is a great,
incredible asset to have, especially at heavyweight.
And then he mixed the martial arts against a kickboxer, which was really smart.
Just tackled Denise, controlled him on the ground and eventually submitted him.
So great, oh, sorry, TKO, excuse me, submitted him.
One by TKO.
So great stuff.
Great stuff from Pinto.
You want to push him fast.
I get it.
I'm going with some, let's keep building up Pinto pick.
And maybe Piero just surprises this.
I don't know.
And then opening the main card, con offly, con offly.
If you're not cheating, you ain't trying.
I'm very happy for Khan Offley.
I understand if I was Ricardo Hamos,
that I might be a little less enthused by Offley's tactics.
For those of you who may have missed it,
it went to the ground very early.
You know, Ricardo wanted to show off his grappling,
which is good, because he's a great grappler.
A bunch of submission wins early in his career.
I think he has, I don't remember how many he has in the UFC.
Let me check that real quick.
He submitted
he has one submission in the UFC but he has ground skills okay but I had thought that Ramos would
show off a little bit more of his striking because he has this great like kind of dynamic fun striking game
when he wants to maybe he's been a bit snake bitten by his results lately so he wanted to go away from
that I understand but I don't know if his team didn't know that awfully strength is also grappling
and I think if Ramos had been a little more insistence on keeping the fight standing
and kind of using his speed, using his athleticism to just outstrike awfully, maybe go for a knockout.
I think it would have gone differently, but hey, I'm not in the gym, I'm not on the corner man.
I didn't study the tape probably as thoroughly as these guys did.
This is just from what I know about Khan, from what I saw in like the ultimate fighter and his first two UFC fights.
They went to grapple.
It didn't work.
Ramos very aggressively going for the leg.
It looked like he actually had him a couple of times.
I was very amazed at Offley's submission defense.
And then I was even more amazed when Kenockley just clearly, as it looked like he was kind of stumbling with Ricardo still hanging on to his leg, just grabbing onto the fence, right in front of a camera, right in front of ringside camera, a handful of fence.
I did it twice, I think, because I think he stumbled again and had to grab the fence again and used that to reverse position and to take Ricardo's back and eventually secure a rear naked choke.
So just brutal, brutal officiating.
I think it was, let me look before I call anyone out.
It was Mark Goddard, who I think is a fine official.
I don't know how he doesn't call that.
That is the definition of a foul affecting a fight.
You've got to take a point there.
You've got to give Ricardo back some sort of advantageous position.
I don't know if you let him take the leg again, but I'm not sure how flexible they can be.
You've got to at least reset him in certain sort of top position.
It was a bad break, man.
It was a bad break for Ricardo.
Again, I don't blame Khan in the slightest,
because you got to do what you got to do to win.
If Con lost, he's out of the UFC for sure.
He's 0-2.
Maybe they would have brought him back for a Sydney card
that's a rumor to be happening in February.
But even then, he's just on such thin ice.
They probably use him.
They probably throw him there with some sort of killer or something.
Even in front of a home crowd,
they're probably like this guy's 0-and-3.
We're not, you know, we just don't want to invest in this.
He did what he had to do.
Mark Goddard did not do what he had to do.
And you got to call that.
You got to call that.
Who knows how the fight plays out from there.
but I can tell, I mean, I think we all have eyes.
Guys, we've all watched a lot of fights.
We know how these things go.
That rear-knick-choke does not happen in the first round
if awfully does not grab the fence.
And that really sucks for Ricardo Hommels.
So, sorry to be a bummer, because again, I want to congratulate Colin on his first win.
Winning in the UFC is not easy.
I don't care who you're fighting.
And after going 0-2, I'm sure he felt the pressure.
So get that win, forget the crowd, you know, get himself an extra check.
Great stuff there.
And then he gets Jekka Saragi.
He gets Jekka Saragi in Sydney this February, obviously.
This is why we keep guys like Jekka around guys.
Jekka, exciting guy.
But boy, defense is zero.
And this is Offley's chance to have like a shining moment in Australia.
So there you go, buddy.
Hopefully that's the direction they go in or at least an opponent in that range.
No interest right now in like, oh, well, awfully beat Ricardo.
Oramos.
He should get like a top 35, top 40 guy.
I don't care about that.
I don't care about that.
let this man have a fun homecoming, let him fight Jekka.
Jekka, you know, training out of Indonesia, a nice, breezy, six, seven-hour flight or something like that.
So, you know, I'm thinking about logistics too, right?
Say, don't just throw awfully in there for like some random American or Canadian or something.
It's a tough flight.
It was like a 12, 13-hour flight.
So I'm trying to help people in multiple ways here, guys.
Welcome aboard Air Canada.
Rocky's vacation here we come.
Whoa, is this economy?
Free beer, wine, and snacks.
Sweet.
Fast-free Wi-Fi means I can make dinner reservations before we land.
And with live TV, I'm not missing the game.
It's kind of like I'm already on vacation.
Nice.
Air Canada.
Nice travels.

That's annoying.
What?
You're a muffler.
You don't hear it?
Oh, I don't even notice it.
I usually drown it out with the radio.
How's this?
Oh, yeah.
Way better.
Save on insurance by switching to Bel Air Direct and use the money to fix your car.
Bell Air Direct, insurance, simplified.
Conditions apply.
The wild card, I wish, now I really wish Mike were here because this is where he'd make his usual joke that, well, there was women's baton weights on the card, AK, so I guess you're going to make a women's banditweight fight.
And I have actually, like, gone against that expectation the last few episodes.
Not today, my friends.
Not today.
We do have to celebrate great debut by Bea Mosquita, a as I was reminded by.
I think it was lazy bed on the post-fight show.
A world record holder for Jiu-Jitsu excellence,
like as far as the amount of titles by a single, by an individual.
I assume there's team awards too in Jiu-Jitsu guys.
But by an individual, she's just racked up.
Go to her Wikipedia and look at her.
It's just a line of gold.
Like they have the nice bar of like some of her comp, summation of her accomplishments.
It's just gold, gold, gold, gold, gold, gold, gold, gold, gold all the way.
All she does is win gold.
Amazing grappler.
A legend, a legend in the Brazil.
their jitizu scene and of course now dabbling in m m m m trying to make an earnest run of it at the age of
34 the 34 years young i like to say 5 and 0 on the regional scene competed quite a bit for lFA so you
know she's facing at least like we're somewhat respectful competition given her level of experience
right there's no reason i don't care what her jiu jihitsu accolades are they should be
throwing in there with people like you know nine and three 10 and five like
experience is experience there's no substitute for it so they did the right thing i think ufc also
did the right thing putting in there with erina alexieva the russian ronda as they call her
which was hilarious as you guys see you guys go mafightcom and if you missed bea's post-fight interview
she said she was reminded by gie who had interviewed her like 11 years ago about a previous call-out
she had made of ronda rousey so everything kind of came together everything kind of came
together. And I know everyone now is thinking, well, if Rhonda comes back, that's the way to go.
And I think, like, I love that logic. I kind of believe Ronda is not coming back. But I love the logic
that if she did, it's one of her fight, however many fights she comes back for, assuming it's more
than one, that one of those fights would be a mosquito. But I don't know. There's a huge gap in
name value there, right? There's no way that's like the comeback fight. So Bay has got to keep going.
It's not what's next for her. Even she admitted that she's like, I don't think that's going to happen.
So Mike and I came up with this on Saturday night.
It's Priscilla Katsura, guys.
It's Priscilla Katsura.
We disagreed on how quickly we should push her.
Because Mike was initially throwing out names like, you know, Macy Chiasun.
I think that was the big one.
I don't know if we came up with anyone else.
But Macy, even after her egregious weight miss, she's still top 10 bantam weight.
Stop laughing, guys. Stop laughing. That still means something. Being top 10 of division still means something, okay?
He also suggested Misha Tate, which I get it because Misha Tate is, you know, clearly closer to the end of a career, former champion, but fine.
At some point, we are going to start sort of counting you out just based on how much, you know, fighting experience you have.
It's just a lot. It's a lot. And she's already retired once, right? Misha's already retired once.
Feels like she's about to put both feet out the door. And that's like a bad formula to have should she get matched up with a younger, hunger.
up-and-comer like Bamasquita.
But I actually still think, I think Macy, if I were to pick, I would pick Macy.
I would pick Misha to beat B Mizuita because I get it as great as her jujitsu experiences.
It's not MMA.
We've seen this hundreds of times, guys, experts in another field, not just jujitsu,
amateur wrestling.
So I was like, oh, just an amateur wrestler, and their base is just wrestling.
And then they go up against someone more experienced.
They fall flat in their face.
Kickboxers.
kickboxes. This person was a multiple, has been held world titles and multiple promotions.
They fought in kickboxing 85 times. This is their fourth MMA fight and they're in the UFC and then
they fall flat in their face. Fighting is fighting, but to say that everything just translate to
M.A. is just patently false. And the same thing. There's great M.A. fighters who would not,
who would not be able to do anything in a grappling tournament, who would not be able to do anything
on a wrestling mat. Like, it goes both ways. So I don't have this strong urge to just throw Bia
Mesquita up the ranks, especially with the glacial pace that the, uh, the top of the
Bantamie division moves anyway. It's not like, oh, Kayla or Amanda Niz, whoever's at the top,
you know, eight months from now is going to need a challenger right away. No, these good,
that's one problem with this division. It's like even the big names barely fight.
So while the big names are sitting on the sidelines, let me a mosquito build her resume.
Let's start off with the great Facila Kachara, Tuff as hell, takes a beating well.
And, uh, would probably do just enough to, uh, just a respectable enough name.
as far as like, you know, what she's done in her career and also like someone that I think
Bay would very likely get a finish again. So let's keep it going. Let's keep it going, guys.
Mike Heck, you guys saw the clip. Check on my Twitter. There's a clip Mike Heck. He's excited about
women's band to wait again. He's excited. He's excited. He loves it. It's a white hot division.
Okay. This is the right time now to move on, guys. Give you guys some shine.
I should have, you know what I should have taken audio submissions. I don't want,
we put a lot of pressure on you guys. I know not everyone's comfortable, you know,
having their voices on a podcast or just like out publicly i get it but it would have been cool
and more importantly you wouldn't have had to hear me you don't have to hear my voice for a little bit
but um i'll get through these i'll get through some of these submissions guys because uh there were some good
ones here we can i think we can really dive in we can really dive in without without my best friend
like pressuring me to like move things along guys we can actually uh can take our time just enjoy our time
together that also means i have time to check some tapes now i'm not actually
going to like give any otno points here i just there's just some sort of news and notes and
things that i i sort of forgot on the post-fight show sunny ceza was asking us about the uh...
a blogged-in clip that they showed before um that they showed before his fight on contender
series this week he's incredible fight guys again if you have not seen that please you can watch the
fight for free on the ufc's youtube they uploaded it very quickly it is an awesome awesome three-round
fight second round was maybe the best round of the year uh but yeah sunny sent out a clip of
Mark Vologden rolling thunder kicking someone at a turn at a martial arts tournament in 2017.
It is pretty great.
So if you have not seen it, just look up Mark Vologned in like World Cup or something.
And I'm pretty sure this is the clip that will turn up.
It is a brutal, brutal knockout.
Wow.
Incredible stuff.
So thanks, Sunny, for the little tip there.
We kind of like missed it on the show and we were like, oh, we don't ever talk about it.
I had to move on.
But that was good.
It was nice.
I was actually,
I did not see that when it happened.
And fun to see.
And I want to shout out Jono, Manchester.
This is long overdue.
Johno,
we had said before UFC, Perth,
that we would shout out anyone who showed up for that card
from the very first fight to the end.
When we said that,
it was like a 14-fight card,
or I think it was like 15 fights.
So we were suggesting it was like an endurance contest.
It only turned out to be 12 fights,
so it's like a normal card.
But still,
we said what we said we never retracted it and johnno we never gave you your credit he was he was keeping
me an update on twitter of his his adventure of um going to going to going to uc birth from from fight one to
the main event and i hope you had a good time johnno and this is a long overdue shout out so uh good job
good job everyone uh these days who pays money for one of these ufc events one because they're extravagantly
expensive um so shout-ups to my people's in uh in vancouver my my birthplace by the way i was born
i was born in vancouver next week anyone's showing up uh i hope you get a great
great show. I think the card looks pretty good. We'll run that down at the end. But I'm optimistic. I'm
optimistic that Vancouver would be all right. I think these cards have been, I'm talking about
Perth as well. Like, I think these latest international ships they've been making it. Like,
they've been okay. Like, I know Perth wasn't an amazing card. But I feel like they've been doing
enough, giving just enough, like, memorable results to keep us hooked as it were. And I've always
said this about the UFC. They don't need, they don't need to put on cards that are just bangers
12 to 1. I don't think they can do that anymore, if we're being honest, outside of just getting
lucky, right, and having some matchups turn out better than expected. But case in point with Rio,
are you going to remember Charles Olivaara just dominating Matthias Gamer at the end of the
night and then getting his moment with the crowd, a beautiful moment of the Brazilian crowd?
even Figgie, you forget the fight, but you'll remember, oh, hey, we kind of kind of this guy, and he came back.
We won't remember the Joel Alvarez for Sinti-Luki fight.
I can't put a, I can't shine up that turd.
But Jose Aldo getting his retirement ceremony, a nice little retirement, something.
That was frigging beautiful.
So the highs are high enough right now for the UFC than get away with, you know, really making some bloated cards that aren't, that are not exactly steeped in quality.
And I hope Vancouver turns out the same way.
a positive way. I hope you guys like no matter, even if it's not, you know, top to bottom
bangers, you go home feeling like you got your money's worth. Let's go to the picks. Let's go to the
picks, guys. We had quite a bit of overlap with some of these right out of the way, of course,
so many people are just saying, let's do Charles Oliver versus Max Holloway too. The other popular
pick, I think at least three or four people sent this, and I hate it. I hate it. You guys
might be shocked here. I hate it. Charles Oliver and Patty Pimble.
I have been the number one, like, you know, Patty Pimblit is a star like pusher, at least in the NBA fighting staff.
And I've, you know, I've correctly called for matchup with Tony Ferguson when no one thought that was going to happen.
I was the one who called that.
Michael Chandler, I think people knew that there was a chance that would happen.
And I was certainly part of that bandwagon as well.
I think we all thought that was, he was going to have Chandler in his sights.
I feel like at some point I mentioned in Fighting Charles, but not recently.
I don't think it makes sense now.
I don't think it makes sense now.
Like I said, we don't need to talk about guys like Charles in the title picture.
He is separate from the title picture right now.
Max Holloway is separate from the title picture.
They don't need to be in that conversation right now.
They can reenter that conversation whenever they want.
They're former UFC champions.
Patty Pimble, you've got to, again, strike while the iron is hot.
It's already cooled off quite a bit from the in-cage competition to Tupori.
It's cooling.
I think it's still warm, but it is cooling.
So you either give him that Tuporia shot or you give him a shot,
or you give him a real genuine number of contenders fight.
And it doesn't look like that's going to happen.
And I don't think that's what a fight with Charles Olovera is.
Like it is for Pimblit.
I don't think of Charles Oliver beats Patti Pimblit that initially gets him a title shot,
especially if I'm a little bit of Taboria is still the champion.
So I just don't see the sense in it unless you guys are trying to build up Patti
and you really think Patty's going to beat Charles.
But I think Charles would be a considerable favorite, at least two to one.
And again, as much as I always say, I think Patty is better than people think, I would pick Charles to beat him.
A Pimbled win would not surprise me, but if I were betting, I would pick Charles to beat him.
But hey, maybe that little discussion I just had with myself is why do you guys want to see this fight happen in the first place?
I'm not about it, especially compared to the obvious alternative of the Holloway rematch.
Like, it's, if Oliver versus Pimbley is like my second choice, it's a distant second.
I wouldn't mind seeing it someday, but next, for me, nothing is close to Oliver Holloway 2.
So let's focus on that.
For the losing Matush Gamrod, I saw people say Chandler for him.
I think that makes a lot of sense.
Maybe do the physique rematch, of course.
The first fight was cut short by an injury.
It makes a lot of sense there.
A lot of people like Figgi and some result of the U.Mario-Bautista fight that's happening at U.C. 321.
I saw some people say the loser of that fight.
I think I saw someone say,
Umar, win, loser, draw, which I don't think makes a ton of sense.
Marab is going to defend against Piotr Yan, most likely.
But it's not official, of course, before the end of the year.
And then he'll need a challenger.
I think whoever wins the UFC 321 should wait, especially if it's Umar.
Because if there's other people getting rematches.
I don't think it's that bizarre for Umar to get his rematch.
Even though I know, let's say it happened, let's say he got his rematch in, you know, February, March, whatever.
People will say, oh, that was like barely over a year since they first fought.
This game moves quickly, guys, especially in Maraub's case.
I mean, Mara makes the M.A world move faster every time he frigging steps in there.
So, yeah, it might be seem a bit weird for them to fight so soon after with Mara having done multiple title defenses.
And Umar will have only fought once, even if he beats Mara Batista.
But Maraub wants to stay busy.
Frankly, I still think Umar's the got to beat him.
I'd like to find out
I don't think Umar should have to go to Figgi
but I'm sure Figuie would love that fight.
Okay, only 10 more presents to wrap.
You're almost at the finish line.

I don't want to read all these consensus picks.
Joel Alvarez, Randy Brown, Bonfine winner that's going on November 8th.
makes sense. Alvarez versus Daniel Rodriguez. I think that makes a lot of sense. And Alvarez
versus the Leon Edwards Carlos Prachis loser. Oh, too high. You guys are seeing now what I'm
saying. Like, I don't think he needs to fight a top 20 guy next. I really don't. He's not a young
guy, but he's not an old guy. So I don't want to go there yet. For Pinto and Petrino, Mario Pinto
and Vito Petrino, there was like some mixture of like Mick Parkin, Kennedy and Sachu. Like,
there was a lot of you guys like Pinto versus them or or Patrino versus them so I'm not going to read all those
and the most popular bear mosquito pick I saw was her and Nora Cornole which yeah that's the range you should be doing
all right guys going to Twitter we got a couple of first timers here which is always exciting
though I wish they're just nouns their names are just nouns we're not not not what I shouldn't say that
cloud is the name how dare I say that sorry all you FF7 fans out there cloud welcome to the party pal
I should actually read this whole message, shouldn't I?
First time sending him picks for on to the next one.
Keep up the good work.
Cloud wants Figy versus Song Yadong.
Jackson versus Collar Phillips.
Gamrod Moikano.
That was also a popular pick.
Alvarez versus Holland.
After he beats Mike Malat.
Oh, the callout.
The callout.
So if Holland is victorious next weekend, Joel Alvarez,
that actually is probably what will happen.
Filio versus Iminal Rodriguez and Luan.
Serada versus the aforementioned Mark Vologden.
So a couple of guys who just got UFC contracts this past Tuesday.
Thank you, Cloud.
And also Octagon.
Again, Octagon could also be a name.
I'm sure there's a Mexican legionator out there named Octagon.
So how dare I say it's just an inanimate object?
Thank you, Octon.
Hello, my pick for this week.
First time doing this, hopefully no do-do.
No, I don't think there was any do-do octagon.
Charles Max, Figgi, Umar-Bartista loser, Alvarez versus D-Rod, Pinto, versus Talis.
to Shera. I saw this recommended a few times as well.
Khan Offley and Danny Silva. So thank you, Cloud. Thank you, Octagon. Thank you guys for sending in.
Please continue to send in picks. Love to see it. I know sometimes the time zones don't work, but we do our best to get those in there.
Zach Schulte is not a first time or veteran of the show. Also, oh, Figgie versus Umar win-luser draw.
Zach, I hate this even more. I'll be honest. I just don't like it. And Offley versus Ramos, too.
that was one of the most egregious cheating to winning transitions I've seen in a while.
Yeah, that was nuts, Zach.
That was nuts.
I don't, I can't believe it.
Like, that honestly, that should be overturned.
Khan, I'm so sorry, that should be overturned.
But if they don't, hey, congrats, you got your win.
DGB, Patrino and Tuivasa.
Oh, this is what we're doing with Thai now?
That's how we're using Thai guys.
And Pinto versus Derek Lewis.
Oh, my.
That's a huge jump-up in competition.
DGB, I don't know, man.
And then, you wanted figurado versus Martinez.
Listen, you must clarify David or Jonathan.
I assume you mean David, who fought more recently.
I think Jonathan we haven't seen in a year or almost a year.
I know you mean David.
I shouldn't even say, I know you mean David,
but guys, when there's two fighters with similar names and division,
not to mention guys who I would say are close together in the rankings,
probably in the same range, but 11 to 20.
You got to clarify.
So I know you mean David Martinez,
but it could have been Jonathan, DGB.
be it could have been john of them
Sam Schaefer
Charles Olivera versus G2 why
why Sam
I think Sam actually explained it so I shouldn't
you know what I should
I should let Sam have their day in court
oh
Sam says I just know that Patty will get the title shot
yes and that's fine
I agree and that's why Charles is fighting
Max why Gathe G2 instead
I don't know sorry Sam
Mosquita versus Maya
Buenos Silva after she loses the Jacqueline Colva
November 8th, sure.
F-Rod, Matush Giamrott versus Nazim Sattakov, and Montel Jackson versus Chris Gutierrez.
That is perfect matchmaking.
That is very likely where they go with it, right?
Two veteran guys, two guys who flirted with the top 10 ranking without ever quite making it.
I think Chris got a little bit higher.
I think the official rankings, I want to say Chris made it to like top 12 or something.
I don't have a history of it.
I'm looking now.
They were supposed to fight once in time, too, Gutierrez and Jackson at, what event is this?
October 7, 2023.
Oh, some UFC apex card.
Okay.
Yeah, make it happen.
Makes sense.
Makes sense.
The right time for both guys' careers.
What else we got here?
Sorry, guys, I just got some weird message there for a second.
Marcus McGahey.
Marcus, always coming in with the deep cuts.
Marcus, what you got for us?
I looked these over earlier.
Michael as well versus.
Stephen Gwynn. I like that. I like that.
Jafel Fielio versus Andre Lima.
Whoa. Man, that's a good fight.
That's a good fight. That's a tough, like, that's one where I hate to see either guy lose,
but this is a shark tank of division, and at some point you've got to throw these guys up against each other.
That's a great pick, Marcus.
Mosquita versus Melissa Mullins, Shore.
I don't want to read all these. Lacerida versus Quang Lee.
I don't know what's...
Lacerida deserves some sort of favorable matchmaking for going in there with a guy who almost misweigh,
by 10 pounds.
Frigin ridiculous.
Speezy 32.
Alvarez versus Renat Fakhretina.
Boy, we are not giving this young man easy fights.
Yeah, that's a great matchup.
That's a great matchup.
I could see that being the way they go.
I think Fakritina actually should get a top 15 guy,
so that's why I didn't pick it.
But if they don't view him that way,
and he's another guy that sort of just on the outside,
they want to keep sort of, you know,
keeping the mix without giving out top 15 opponent just yet.
Yeah, I think him and Joel Alvarez makes a lot of sense.
Patrino versus Buccecha. Wow, I had not even thought about what to do with Buccecha next after that loss since debut.
I could see it. Luan Lacerna versus Jacob Vichlash. We just saw Vichlach like beat Pachy Mixed. Isn't that Wichlach a top 20 guy?
Then again, that's assuming you think Pratio Mix is a top 20 guy, which after the first two years, Cights he might not be.
That's tough. Yeah, I don't know. And you know what, Speezy? Maybe that's what I'm saying. Maybe that's what I'm saying. Maybe this is the reward.
Lacerda deserves, a guy who just beat a guy with a name, you know?
I'm into that.
Barry O'Reilly, Lacerda versus Josias Musasa.
Julia Pulaschi versus Loma Lukbo and me.
That's a banger.
Guys, I'm saying this.
I've been saying this forever, and I still stand by.
I still think strawberry is a good division.
I know there's a lot of criticism of, on the women's side of M.A. in general.
I've mentioned the reasons why.
You know, not enough pay.
Not enough women coming from combat sports background because of why would they,
when there's other sports they can pursue.
I still think straw weight, though, has maintained a certain level of quality.
I really do believe that.
I know you guys can just, you know, look over the last six months and pull out, like, one or two, like, strawweight stinkers.
I could do that with any division.
It just what happens.
This division isn't particularly deep.
So when there's a strawweight bout and it's bad, it really stands out because there's not, you know, a dozen other strawweight bouts coming in the next few weeks.
So I get it.
I get it.
But I still think this division is good.
Pallostri, listen, she did what she does.
She put it on Kovakovitz, man.
And I still think Kovakovits is, like, tough.
But yeah, I get it.
You know, her combat sports mileage is up there.
So, yeah, it looked like one-dory traffic.
But that's what, hey, that's what Pulashtra was supposed to do.
I'd love to see her in there with Loma.
I think that's a really good fight.
Lucas Hocha and Ray Saruya.
Ooh.
Barry, that's good.
That's good.
Yeah, Ray's got a little bit to prove after that kind of, he's taking his first loss, you know.
Mosquita versus Luana Santos, when loser draw versus Zelazzov.
They're fighting on November 8th.
as well versus Robert Rukala
and Figuerado versus O'Malley
Here's a barrier to say about that
Former Champ versus former champ
A headliner for any fight night
Or a Co-Maine for a pay-per-view
I would hope that's on pay-per-view
If Figgy wins, he gets a tell shot
While Amali gets approved to everyone
It's legit or not
Yeah, I think, I don't remember when we talked about
Maybe on another show
This fight makes a lot of sense for these guys
But I want to see O'Malley in Sanhagen first
So we'll see
Thomas Collins
Once Gamrot to get Pimbleat
as a reward for stepping up.
Maybe.
Let's go to the emails.
Tristan Gordette, very excited about being Mesquita.
DMed me immediately after her win, saying like, yo, she's a real deal.
And, you know, Tristan, she just might be.
But we got a tester, and you got a great matchup for her.
You said Claudia Segula, that is the range.
She'll be a minus, well, let me see.
What was she against Alexeva?
I think minus four or something, right?
Minus 650.
I'm looking at topology, minus 650.
So depending where you look, somewhere in that range,
minus 600 up probably she'll be at least like minus 850 maybe 900 against
sagula yeah this mosquito experience is going to get real interesting real fast
especially if you're a gambler which I am not Lucas Cortest he's down
mosquito chasseh just give him the push I guess Lucas has made me laugh Charles Olivera
versus Nick Lentz let's do it again best four out of seven it's finally time yeah too
many unanswered questions you know we talk about a lot we've seen a lot of fights get
run back a bunch of times.
We're kind of like, ah, did this really needs to you run back?
But yeah, you know, I still don't know who the better fighter is.
You know, when I think of Charles and I think of Nick Lentz, I just think like,
yeah, I mean, Charles is good now.
But, you know, if Nick Lentz came out and like, maybe he's a kryptonite, you know,
too many and answered questions.
And then, uh, Connoffley versus Ryan Hall on the next card in Rio.
So the crowd can see awfully get murdered.
Lucas, that's dark.
And you're not wrong.
if anyone, if Con Offley went there with Ryan Hall, he would get murdered.
But, and that real crowd, you're right.
They do not like Con Offley.
They would love to see the Con Offley sacrifice hour.
But I don't think that Ryan Hall is going to be fighting Con Offley.
But I just want to see Ryan Hall come back.
He's not retired as far as I know.
Ryan Hall, go fight again.
Jay Donaghy, clarified figurato versus David Martinez.
Thank you, Jay.
That's how it's done, guys.
That's how it's done.
Alvarez, Chris Curtis, Pinto versus Injadikul.
And let's go to Instagrams.
Left Lane, always with a lot of good picks.
Lucke versus Magni.
Cannot believe this fight has not already happened.
Pinto versus Tabura.
Let's go into the top 10.
Just like that.
We're throwing this guy into the top 10?
UFC rankings, yeah, March Spurra, right in that 10 spot.
All right.
All right.
Maybe that's what Martin Tobor.
Excuse me.
Maybe that March and Subura is hanging around for.
Maybe he's got to be that farther for his Bintos.
Pinto, guys.
He's only 27.
That long way to go.
Lafleine, I also liked Filio versus Bruno Silva, win-loser-Jorah versus Hyun Park next week.
That's cool.
Rocha versus Alden Correa, banger.
Bangor, great fight.
Peterson versus the Chris Barnett, Hamdi, Abdul Wahab winner.
They're fighting U.C. 321.
Again, banger.
Big-time banger.
Tino Alvarez wants, oh, this trip me out for a second.
Alvarez, Joel Alvarez versus Neil Magny.
Jafel Filial, Charles Johnson, Vitor Petrino, and Tobora.
This is, guys, Taborari, ain't nothing to F-Wis, man.
he's a good fighter still
Gerard Viagin
Joel Alvarez
Gilbert Burns
I thought about this but
I don't want this to be
what we do with
Gilbert now
I'm just trying to Tia
just Tying him up
I'm comfortable man
Combat sports
what a world eh
it's how it goes you know
and Khan Offley versus
Hyder Emil yeah
so that'd be a very fun fight
and guess what guys
bonus treat we got stuff from Mike's IG
he sent them to me
so thanks you my best friend
for not letting your contributors hang.
Dawson Boyd, a few that have already been read,
Conoffly versus Ju Sang You, I think is a fun one.
I don't think anyone else mentioned that.
Dawson, you told Mike that I have not accepted your follow.
My DMs are open.
I don't follow back everyone.
It's just not what I'm into.
But my DMs should be open.
So please, send me stuff, Dawson, if you're out there,
send me stuff.
It has not been an issue for anyone else.
Everyone I read on here from Instagram,
I don't think I'm following them back.
So you should be able to hit me up.
Please, get my DMs.
Or keep saying to Mike going forward, we'll see.
But I'm happy to receive them, Dawson.
John Ray, good old John Ray.
Lacerda versus Cameron Smotherman, Rocha versus Angerichaires,
Mosquita versus Misha Tate.
I'm not about it, guys.
I'm not about it.
Filiol versus the Azat Maxim Mitroposo winner, US321.
I read that out just because real talk, did not know the fight was happening.
Did not know the fight was happening.
And then Robbie Ryan, we're going to close up Rob Ryan.
Robbie, I think all your picks were also picked by other people.
But you had some very, very funny comments here.
Robbie says,
I had Joel Alvarez pegged to fight a ranked opponent prior to the third round,
or he didn't even try to finish Lucay.
Did he bet on himself for the fight to go the distance?
I don't care what he does next.
Damn, Robby.
Now, I think Robbie also mentioned he had a wager on.
I'll go see your comment.
Double-check your comment here, Robbie.
I believe Robbie also said,
Alvarez cost me a decent chunk of money not finishing Luque.
Yeah, that's going to affect your, how you feel about making match.
for someone. As for Luke A.
Robbie says
Luke A versus Carolina
Nicole Vukavikovic in a rock paper scissors
match and it doesn't even matter who wins.
They just both retire after.
Trying to put them in a situation where they can't
really get hurt and send them off with class.
So thanks, Robbie. That's actually a very nice suggestion.
All right. Thank you guys. We have,
we will have a show again next week,
podcast style with listen suggestions.
Please send to me at Alexander Kay Lee
on the Twitter.
at Alexander KK Lee on Instagram
Alex.
Or Alex dot Lee, excuse me, at SBNation.com.
If you prefer a good old-fashioned email,
what's my best friend?
I believe he's Mike underscore.
No, I always screwed this up.
M underscore, excuse me guys.
M underscore Heck J.R on Instagram.
Hit up his DMs and he will make sure that you are heard.
So there you go, guys.
That is our show for this.
week. A little sad to do without Mike. I tried to keep it tight. Definitely less than an hour. You
don't want to hear me jabber on for that long. But we now look ahead, guys, to UFC, Vancouver.
I love beautiful British Columbia. We've got a corker of the main event between Reiner de Ritter
and Brendan Allen. We wish it was RDR and Anthony Hernandez. That was a great matchup that we all
want to just even forgetting that it's probably a number of contender fight. You know,
it would, or at least give them the chance to jump over Nasardine Imov and the contender.
line. I don't know if that happens now, even if RDR just like runs through Brennan Allen the
first round, Imov might still be the choice. And if Brandon Allen beats RDR, then it's definitely
going to be EMAVob. So he's a big Brendan Allen fan this next weekend. But still, very fun
fight. Love to see RDR and Brendan Allen fight. Wish it was under different circumstances. This is
the cars you can dealt. And the co-main event, actually guys, let me double check the schedule
I'm looking at Wikipedia and with respect to the great Wikipedia doesn't always have the most accurate schedule.
But it does look like, yes.
Kevin Holland and Mike Moulin, the co-mate event.
Mike Moulot can his own boy.
This is a big, big chance, big chance for him to get a huge name win.
Marlon Chito Verra.
This is Eman Zahabi.
Zahabi, the enemy of Brazilians everywhere after that went over.
That ended up being the retirement fight of Jose Aldo.
Gosh, I'm tearing up just thinking about it.
But we'll see.
We'll see if Zahabin. Keep the good times going, man.
It's got a hot streak.
Menon Fierreau versus Jasmine Yoslavish's big women's flyweight fight.
Cody Gibson, Arichi Lang, is opening up the, I'm sorry, that's on the main card.
As is, wow, big time veterans there.
They've got like 100 fights come by between them.
And as opening the main card is the spoiler.
Always a spoiler.
Kyle Nelson taking on Matt the steam roller for Vola.
So we'll see how it goes, right?
I mean, Matt, I think people will be thinking maybe, you know, Matt always comes out swinging,
and maybe it gets a fast finish, but Kyle is tough,
and Ka has won a lot of fights with the underdog.
I think he's a slight.
I don't even know if he's an underdog here.
I think this is a pick-em, but people are always kind of out the monster,
and you can't, man.
He's got some wins here.
He's spoils him.
He's won a lot of people's fun.
I'll tell you that right now.
On the prelims, Charles Jodin, fighting Davy Grant, Bangor.
Bruno Bulldog Silva fighting Hyun Sung Park.
Bangor.
This is a good card.
Should I go to Bang.
Vancouver. Middleweight bout between Danny Barlow and Jordan Santos.
Kyle Prepeleck fighting Drew Dober. Oh boy, Drew Dober on the prelands.
Man, he's in a tough stretch, but I mean, that's going to deliver for sure.
Straw weights Stephanie Luciano and Ravenna Olivera.
A middleweight bout between Azamatt Bekojev and Yusri Belgarui.
Boy, this guy's a sleeper in the division, right? I mean, he's got a hell of a very
gaudy looking record, hell of a windstreet going.
I'm very curious to see how he looks here.
If he kind of like, you know, wins a forgettable decision,
we'll barely be talking about him after.
If he runs through Belgorui, and then he might be,
who knows, could be a wild card selection on the next one,
which is really the greatest honor that one can receive.
Belgari making his debut, by the way, after being signed up the contender series
last year, last year.
I think this is delayed.
There was a visa issues.
He was supposed to fight this year.
Earlier this year, excuse me.
And then we have
And then we have
Melissa Croden and Tynara
Lisboa.
Melissa Crotin and Tynara Lisboa.
So there you go, guys. A lot of Canadian content. Shout us to Melissa.
A lot of Canadian content in this card. Hopefully we get, you know,
my people's exit with a winning record. But these are some tough matchups. I'm not like
Malat and Holland, Zahavi and bear. Boy, these could
it must be a lot of losses.
I don't know if I'm picking all these parties.
Yastavish is a hobby, Malat.
Boy, this can all be losses to the world.
So we'll see you guys.
If you're in Vancouver, like I said, I hope you have a great time.
But this is me signing off.
Thank you, Evan, for joining, for putting up with a solo act for nearly an hour.
And keep, I hope you guys all enjoyed UFC Rio as well.
All hail, Charles Dobonks, Oliver.
What a great time.
And we will see you next time on onto the next.
