Jerseyed out. We got the Bada Bing. We got the devils, though they're struggling. I mean, we're feeling good. I got two sandwiches in me. I'm in shock, though, right now. I can't believe Drew Dover just got knocked out. I can't believe it. I thought that chin was going to stand the test of time. I cannot believe this. It kind of did. Joe Rogan kept saying, you know, he's complaining about the stoppage,

but when he stood up, he was walking around all wobbly. When they showed it on the replay, Dober, like, protested immediately off of his back, and as soon as he stood up, he was jumping around, dancing around, yeah, he was bloodied up, and that was a nasty knockup by Matt Rivola, but I kind of see where Drew was coming from. That dude is able to withstand a ton of punishment. Oh, yeah. And hokey pokey herb typically would give guys with that kind of savvy,

a little bit of an extra time, but who knows? Like, normally, I would prefer a fight get stopped a little sooner than later, but in this case, with a guy like Drew Dober and that chin of his, I don't know. I might have let him take a couple more shots. I mean, that's an unbelievable thing to add to Matt Provolta's resume, which is now shaping up. I mean, what was it?

A few watch parties ago, I don't think it was on the main card or we were on Air Force or the Azteer knockout. I mean, people were doubting him going into that. He was a pretty big underdog in this one. I mean, the Steam Rolla. is rolling right now, man. I love it. I really cannot believe that first round, too.

First round. Incredible. Incredible stuff from Favola. Shout out to the steam roller. Did it in front of the home crowd too. Now it's on Aljo to finish the job for Sarah Longo. Absolutely. I mean, a pretty fun prelims overall.

Kennedy and Zichuku, nasty standing. Oh my gosh. First, if I'm not mistaken, first submission as a pro. I mean, shout out to him. Working on his grappling chops. And I mean, he's huge for that division. So things are looking up for him right now as well. The pressure that man puts on his unbelievable Chaos Williams and Rolando Badea. Dude, Rolando Bodea got my respect tonight, dude. He ate those punches from Chaos Williams who has that, that lights out power. I really thought that was going to be a first round finish for Chaos Williams, especially with Badea making his UFC debut.

I mean, that's a tough debut to make. And you can make the argument that he won on the cards. I mean, you could seriously make that argument. That was really impressive from him. It seems like he's worked on his striking defense. He was getting the counters off on chaos. That was a really impressive performance by him. Yeah, 100% not a robbery, though. I saw some people throwing that R word out.

I don't know about robbery. First round, I thought Chaos won. Third round, I thought clearly it was Badoia round. Second was close. Yeah. I could see it either side. So great fight nonetheless. And Badoia, even though he lost on the cards,

won in a lot of people's hearts. So his stock rose. Tacos up for sure. If that's your debut, no doubt. Verna Jandaroba, big win over Marina Rodriguez. She might find herself in the top five in the UFC's Strawweight Division. Parker Porter, taking another step closer to that rematch with John Jones for the heavyweight title. Would you book it?

John, stop being a coward, bro. Stop ducking Parker Porter. It's time for the rematch. We knew going into it, the fight with Braxton Smith was going to be a title of Eliminator. The fact that he was able to pull it off under the bright lights of Newark, New Jersey. I mean, huge for the guy's stock. It's time to give him a fight for the title. I mean, problem solved.

We do John Jones versus Steve Mietich, November, Madison Square Garden, co-main event, five rounds, Paco Porter, Sergey Patton. Yes, now we're talking. And we will need all 25 minutes of that one. I can assure you that. All jokes aside, I mean, shout out to Parker Porter, man. He was having a tough stretch and getting knocked out in the first round just three months ago to bounce back like that.

I know Braxton Smith was making his debut. but, I mean, it looks like he was in better shape than normal. That was such an aesthetically pleasing fight when they were in the octagon. I mean, it was all downhill from there. We knew that. But, man, it was a joy to watch. Shout out to Parker Porter. The Pride of CT, the 860, rep in Hartford, Connecticut.

I'm watching Parker Porter fight for, like, over a decade. I was at the John Jones fight. Oh, my God. Melted in a matter of seconds. I'm assuming you have the ticket framed above your bed frame. I know. I was planning to go. I got a call like 15 minutes before. Oh my God.

From a friend of mine who's like, hey, we're going to go to the fights, and I got an extra ticket you want to come. I was like, all right. And the fight happened to be like 10 minutes from my parents' house. And we went and who knew that I'd be watching the greatest fighter of all time, get in there and knock out the second greatest fighter of all time in Parker Porter. I thought you were going to say, who knew I was watching the greatest fighter of all time, get his rare loss to John Jones. And, I mean, Parker Porter did the damn thing, but we had two violent knockouts to start off the night. Claudea Ribero and Iqram Alaskero, holy smokes.

That's, like, dude, it's, you know, you never want to see, like, I mean, obviously, you do want to see knockouts, but, like, you don't want it to see, be, like, too vicious. That Phil Haas knockout was vicious, where you're kind of worried for him after it happens. I mean, and it just landed so perfectly. Phil Haas doesn't have the best chin in the world, but man, he just landed it right on the chin, and Haas was just... You know when he can't stand up to get the hand raised or not? Like, you know that it's not good.

So you're... Obviously, fans of the M.A.R. know you guys have the parlay pals. Yeah. Two of the legs crossed off, right. Well, is it the parlay boys, Frank? It's the parley boys. Remember, we had a discussion.

So Juliana Paine came on, shouted us out, said the parley boys instead of the parley pals. I thought the rule was if we took Giuliana Pena and she won, we would officially change the name. I mean, the most beautiful phrase, Dateline Newark. Doesn't get much better than that. Does not get much better than that. What's the biggest question you have about the main event? We got Algeman Sterling looking to make some history. history in his own right, become the first fighter, Bannamway champion to defend his title three consecutive times, to tie it overall. We've had T.J. Dilloshaw and Dominic Cruz both defend their

title three times as champion. No one has defended that title three times in a row. Could happen tonight. Or Henry Suhudo making history in his own right, becoming the first fighter, 36 and over, lightweight division or below for the gentleman to win a title fight. What's the biggest question you have. How is Henry Sehudo going to look at the age of 36 years old making a return after a three-year layoff? What is the size discrepancy really going to look like? How much is it going to matter? I mean, Al Jermaine Sterling is not just bigger. He doesn't just have a reach advantage. He is also just like jacked to the gills. He is in as good of shape as possible. And he has talked multiple times in the lead up to this fight, how he is going to use his size

to his advantage. He says Henry Sehudo hasn't felt someone with the size that he's he is. And I'm curious to see how it happens, man, because I mean, you just can't I would be a fool to doubt one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time making a return on a three year, after a three year layoff, because I did it

just two months ago and it did not work out well for me. John Jones winning by first round submission over Cyril Gahn. Yeah, I mean, it's a really interesting matchup. Like, even if they fought three years ago, I would kind of feel the same level of intrigue. Like, I know

Suhudo is a lot of, on a great run and after those two losses that he had, what he did after that was incredible, almost unmatched in a lot of respects. One of the best four or five fight runs we've seen in the UFC, but still, Aljo, underappreciated

guy, was winning a ton of fights against a lot of really tough guys. It could have been a tough matchup back then for him too, so this is, it seems like Sterling's chip on his shoulder is larger than ever, especially with what happened at the Wayans yesterday, and Zahudo's team chirped

away at him and he felt really disrespected. He was really upset about that. That final face-off was absolute fire and it seems like Sterling just has more of a point to prove tonight. Yeah, and I mean, another thing is is like, it's just a tall task for Sterling as well. It's going to

be interesting if he does pull it off, how he's going to get it done because, I mean, Henry Seudo obviously, Olympic gold medalist wrestler. I don't know if you've heard that at all this week. I don't know if that's been mentioned at any point throughout his career. He does have a gold medal in Olympic wrestling. So that's going to be for Aljo right there, especially if he wants to get the grappling going.

One of the most, like, the typical way of Aljo winning, if he wins inside the distance, it's by submission. Henry Suudo has never been submitted. That's a tough way to go about it. And then the striking, over the course of five rounds, I just don't know how, like, if it just stays standing, how he's going to constantly get the better of Sohudo. Like, it's going to be, it's just a really interesting matchup, and I can't wait to see how it plays out. That's where I think the size is really going to take shape in the side. It's on the feed. because of the length, the distance that Sterling is able to capitalize on. Suhudo obviously getting inside can make things very, very interesting.

But, yeah, I mean, there's just so many questions about this fight. And clearly to me, and I don't know if you agree with this, like I know Henry has had a lot to say. His confidence levels are through the roof. He wants to use this comeback as a way to try to win that third title and fight Alexander Volcanowski. And if he loses this fight, all of that goes away. So, sure, he has a lot riding on this. but I feel like, I mean, Sterling has everything to lose in this fight

because if he loses, there ain't going to be no rematch. Sean O'Malley is the man in waiting. He is in the building. And I would be stunned if Sean O'Malley is not getting sent into the octagon to face to face with the winner of this fight. And if it's Henry Sohudo, that is going to be a rough build. And the UFC is going to eat that up with all the trash talk those two guys are going to have. Yeah, I mean, I think there's absolutely no doubt.

O'Malley, no matter who wins O'Malley is ending up in the Octagon tonight. He's in Newark, like he went out for the fanfare today, was taking pictures with fans and everything, and he'll be cage side. It's a no-brainer to bring him in. I think it feels like for both these guys, the plan

is, win tonight, beat Sean O'Malley, go up to 145. Yes. So, parley pals, what was your leg again? My leg was Ribeiro Holmes doesn't go to a decision. Franks was Marina Rodriguez Yeah, it was.

Bearing of Jandaroba over one and a half. Great bet, Frank, went to a decision, was never a sweat at all. Ariel's is, Balamahad Burns over one and a half. And then it's New York for... And it's New York for... And it's New York for all the marbles.

Clearly did over one and a half in the main event, right? Because there's no other pick to make here. He played Aljimate Sterling to retain the Bantamway Championship of the world. He says he's confident. I don't know if there's

bias there. Ali Aquinas his realtor. He's a long island guy. I don't know if there's a bias there, but maybe he's got a little read on Aljo because he told me, I bet Piotr Yon in their second fight confidently, and he told me Aljo was going to win the whole way

all the way through the lead-up, and he was right. So I'm just going to trust him, man. I mean, there just seemed to be like, I mean, there were certain prop bets that seemed obvious that didn't really pan out, but there were some that were like super duper obvious. New York, Rick, is, you can't say he doesn't have gusto. The man has lots of gusto.

Oh, I mean, you have to, to take Al Jermaine Sterling here. But I don't have anything on that fight other than over one and a half. So let's hope that the ball ball, Burns, gets us there. And so we can be cheering on the parley pals to get it done in the main event. Absolutely. So chat bet is about to happen. Crone Gracie's return about to happen. He's doing his thing.

He's a bigger fighter. He's a monitor fighter. Hopefully he used that with advantage. Henry, you know, it is, it's been three years, you know, like, for Henry. And I'm a big fan of, like, you know, man, I said,

I said a couple years off and I came back and I felt fine, but three years is a lot longer, you know. And obviously, he got like John Jones that did it, George St. Beer, he did it, but they're not coming back and fighting, you know, a young hungry champ, like, as I mean it, you know, like, I believe when George St. Pierre came back, he fought Bispin. And then obviously, see, he or gone, he's a killer, but he wasn't like, he wasn't like the champ. he wasn't that kind of die. And he's coming back and he's playing a legit threat. Fighters, 36 and over from welterweight to flyweight in the men's divisions, two in 28 in title fights, 36 and older. And those two wins were both by Tyron Woodley. So lightweight and below, no one 36 and over has won a title fight. Yeah, man. And that honestly sounds like a fake statistic.

Yeah, now I'm going to move for the old guys now. That's what I'm saying, bro. I mean, the craziest part is Algeman is not too far behind him. Like, he's, what, 33, 34? It's 33, same age as Henry, was when he beat Dominic Cruz and retired. Yeah.

Seven inches of reach, I think, actually. I still don't know if Sterling is going to be the stronger guy. You know what I mean?

Like, I think Sterling's going to be the bigger guy. He's going to look like the stronger guy. But in these, like, wrestling exchanges against the fence, because I feel like there's going to be a lot of clinching here. What do you think, Rob? Do you think, Henry? I, I think, I, I think, I think, I think, I I feel like Henry is going to, it would not surprise me if Henry won a lot of those battles because he's a strong dude. You've got to be to be an Olympic medalist. I'm definitely leading towards Henry as far as the tradition. Like you said, the traditional kind of wrestling.

If it's like 50-50 on the fence, I think Henry's going to have a vanish. I think where Algeman is going to shine, it's going to be like catching a kick or something like that and kind of getting into the clinch from there. You know, say Henry does shoot on him and kind of like stopping it, snapping him down. and get into like exchanges been there. But if it's straight-out wrestling, I don't think it's going to, like, favor Al Jermaine. Yeah.

Yeah, I mean, it's hard, too, going against the guy like Henry Sehudo. Obviously, Sehudo's got a great gym. Like, how much, something that I wondered this week leading up to it is how much has it helped Al Jermaine having Marab as a training partner through this camp? Like, having one of the best bantam weights in the world to also train with. Yeah. it definitely helps. It definitely helps. Especially your guy like Mara, but it seems like you can push a crazy pace as far as like the wrestling.

And obviously it seems like that dude doesn't get tired. So like that kind of like consistently shooting on you. No, I don't necessarily think Henry's going to shoot like that. But like to have a training partner like that, same size, same build. It's only going to help. Yeah. It's been, it's, you know, because Captain Eric was on the MAA. I talked to Captain Eric as well.

And, you know, we talk about the wrestling exchanges and how a lot of people feel like they're going to cancel, sort of cancel each other out and that a lot of this fight will play on the feet. Captain Eric is just laughing at everybody. Like, are you crazy? Like, Henry's going to take him down and just, like, do it over and over again at will.

Like, there's going to be no hesitation. He's going to take this man to the ground. Like, he's an Olympic gold medalist wrestler. Sterling's credentials are nowhere near Henry. He's like, Why does everybody feel, though? I'm curious if this is just gamesmanship. I do.

I can't believe Suhudo's back. I can't believe we're really watching this right now. And Sterling looks gigantic. Here we go, man. Here we go. All right, here we go. Sterling moving in. This is, uh, oh, they trade leg kicks.

Sterling gets in their feet. Sterling just looks so big. What do you think is Suhudo's like, uh, movement on the feet, Rob? When you watch him strike. He kind of has that, and he stands tall, has that karate kind of slash Taekwondo style. It helps, you know, especially being the short of fighter, just fighting along, helps out. You know, like, I remember fighting a guy when I was in the local scene. He was like 6-2, and we try to mimic the top of his possible.

I think that's what he's doing. Yeah. When you talk about fight IQ, like Sehudo's at the top of the list, man. He knows what he's doing in there. And I got to assume, you know, like being an Olympian and being around that Olympic training center, he's trained with a bunch of Tapewondo guys. For sure. He's probably bringing a bunch of them in. And, I mean, his fight IQ, his fight mind is probably sharper than it was when he was fighting with all the coaching he's been doing.

Oh, oh. Oh, wow. So hootle with the takedown. Wow. That looks pretty easy, too. Yeah, man, like really easy. Wrapped him up and chucked him. now I'm curious to see what Tehudo does from here

here. Here we go. This is a big moment here. Man, I mean, weird to see Al Jamein being the one getting controlled after his last few fights. Butterflies. Let's see if Sterling get back to his feet. He's playing the game too. He's got the overhook. Yeah.

We've seen Sterling fade late in these fights. So can he keep this up? Can he keep this pace going for 20 more minutes? I think he's been going.

He just can't do this. like take those swappy shots, those shots that are from a mile away. You know, you got to get close to him and you use that size on him, you know. But if you start shooting from a mile away, he's going to get tired.
