Brian Scalabrini, the goat. You got the David Ortiz, the Red Sox had. I mean, we're repping in here for Bean Town. We are. And the hype levels throughout the week in Boston in particular have been off the charts. Boots on the ground. Boots on the ground. 7 a.m. flight out here. We are here for this incredible main car that's about to kick off. But right now, this doesn't happen that often. It does not happen. This doesn't happen that often either. Round one is in the books. Competitive first round. Probably Tavaris. Probably Tavaris. But like, We're still in there. Taking a couple leg kicks. He just took another one. Got the walk.

I like where we're at right now. I like where we're at. I do as well. It seems like Wyman is starting to loosen up a little bit. Did go for three takedoms. didn't land any of them. So we'll see if he can get this fight to the ground. I feel like he has big advantages if he does,

but Tavares has a nice takedown defense. Yeah, it's just a matter of, I mean, if he can get a takedown, he's going to be a really good shape, but Tavares does have really good takedown defense. Wibin's just got to get in a position. But I feel, I don't know, I feel like momentum is kind of in Tavaris's camp right now.

I mean, he just landed a bunch of leg kicks. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No. Oh, man. Wow, it's red. It's super red. It looks like we're about to get a leg kick TKO for Brad Tvaris. Brad Tvaris landed a leg kick.

I don't know. Let's take a look at the live odds. Let's see what those say. I mean, obviously not indicative of who won rounds or not. But I would say maybe like minus 250 for Tavares. Minus 345 for Tavaris. All right. So that tells me.

me... Just jump, minus 300, Tavares. Okay, so that tells me that most feel that second round could have gone Widman's way. I'm sure the live odds after round one, higher than that,

the way Tavar is... Man, what a, what a start to this freaking watch party here, man. You get bonus coverage, ladies and gentlemen. This is fantastic. It's been a... It's...

To describe, like, the feeling before we got started, the fights have been really good. This whole card has been really good, but... I think most people who were watching the prelims getting ready for the main card kind of had the same thought. Like, these are all good fights, but I just, I want to get to the main card so bad. I just knew once we got to that Robocop fight.

Yeah. I knew from like then on, I was like pretty invested into every single fight that was remaining on the card. We got freaking Brad Catona in a fight of the year contender to win the ultimate fighter for the second time. Absolute banger from the bantamites. Here we go, round three. Round three. This is huge. The fact that Wyman is this far, I feel better about things.

I'm not watching this fight in between my fingers. Yeah, no, I like the fight that he showed in that second round. Let's see if he can do something here. Especially when he got hobbled with that leg kick. Oh, dude, I thought it was done there. I thought it was legit over. Yep. Another hard leg kick from Brad Tavares.

How about the fight from Chris Wyatman, man? Yeah. Come back after all this time off. Fight through these just like he's got to be an insane. Oh, now that's a kick. in the ding-ding. Keith, Keith. Yeah. Yeah, good call by Keith. Brad Taviris landed this one.

They both tried to throw like kicks at the same time, and Taviris got in there. Are we going to see another replay? I mean, if you want to make the crowd happy, now Keith Peterson, take a point from Brad Tavar. Oh, my gosh, could you imagine? That'd be so brutal. Oh, yeah, that's a bad one.

That's a bad one. That got everything. Yeah, yeah, that's... Look at his face. He even knows what he's doing. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I see, oh, man. Yeah, man, like, Brad Tovar's, like, I mean, Chris Wyman, like, did a split into that, dude.

I would love to see the judge's scorecards right now. I know. Like, if it's 1919, this would be... Another hard leg kick. Wyman Denaughes that way. Vars is, like, winding up for these leg kicks. Yeah. Like, they are so insane.

Oh, no, you step back. Oh, man, he just said the F word. You can tell he's not in good shape. Tavares unload. Oh, no, no. Oh, big leg kick from Tavar. Oh, these leg kicks are landing. He's just unloading it now.

Oh. That was a little headbutt right there from... Tabaris, it looks like... I mean, Tavares at this one is just abandoning anything about the leg kicks. I mean, I feel like he sees a path to a finish with the leg kicks. Yeah, he should just be throwing him over it over again.

Oh. What happened? Did he just land that? Why did we go over a takedown? Did those land? It didn't look like it, but it phased him. Yeah. It did not look like they landed. Great takedown defense. Back in the middle here.

Oh! There's Al Javier You can see Aljave's Salli? I mean, can we talk about like Brad's Vars's takedown defense here? Like this is pretty incredible. Yes, this has been a leg kicking, takedown, defending

expose for Brad Tivores. Going in there again. I mean, this, why I'm just going to keep this, this griminess up? Just go against the defense. Make it nasty. Make it nasty. That's his best chance. You can't fight Tavaris at space anymore. Man, that...

Checking all these leg kicks. That moment last round when he was checking the leg kicks and he was pointing to the ground and it looked like he had a rock. Oh, big right hand from Chris Wyden. Oh, man, that left hand almost landed. Here's the thing about judging, too. The crowd is.

is so much behind Chris Biden now. Yeah, but the only thing is, if we're playing off a damage, like Brad Tavaris has clearly done so much damage to Widman's legs. Like, I just, I don't know if this is enough to win Wyden the fight. Yeah, I did hit the over one and a half.

Nice, nice, let's go. There we go. That was, I mean, that was a steal of a line. Oh, man, but it looked kind of sketchy there at the beginning of front, too. It looked super sketchy. I was like, oh, no, he's going to lose this, over one and a half.

I felt real good about that and the under one and a half in the Robocop fight. That was a thing of beauty. I used the under two and a half as a parlority piece. That was just... All right, come on, why would we need? We need one big moment here in this last 90 seconds from Wyman. It's still super close. He's probably losing this round, but he's just...

He's like a hobbling over to Brad. But he's just so damn tough. I was saying on the preview show that maybe the best case scenario for all of us is that Brad wins a competitive decision. It's kind of one of the... good about himself and then he could just be like look I got back in there I was competitive with this guy gave it

my all, didn't work out that's it, I'm done I mean yeah it looks like that's what we're gonna get man because if he wins he's not gonna retire yeah I think this is probably gonna be like a oh a little jabby jab here from Weidman I feel like we're gonna get it to Varus

1327 229 28 it's looking that way Wyman's just gonna got to go. Oh, big, oh! Right hand from Wyden. He's just going to go. He's just going to go. They set it on the broad because he doesn't have the wheels under him. Like, he doesn't have the support of his legs. 20 seconds. Unload. Come on, man. Oh. Another leg kick. This is it. 12 seconds. Big rush. Oh, left hand. 10. 10. Eight. Just go. Just go. Just chuck them. Run. Well, no, you can't. run. All right, that's it. Good fight. Yeah, it feels like that's a Brad Tavarous win. It probably is,

but you never know. Judges can be a little squarely sometimes. I mean, it was clear round one, Brad Tavaris. I feel like it could be two Tavaris, but Wyman landed the bigger punches, I think. I feel like it, and then I feel like it was, that felt pretty clear Brad Tavar's round I think, yeah. Again, though, like in the stretch, like the actual punches to the face, Blydman did better, Yeah, it just depends. A lot of times, and it irks me, is that judges don't give, kicks to the body, kicks the legs, enough juice. That would be the path to get to a Wydenman victory here,

so if they don't give enough juice to the leg kicks. We'll see what happens. But he made it the full 15. He did make it the full 15. I mean, it was nice. And took a beating to the legs. Yeah. So I guess that's a positive.

All right. So I was hoping, I was very, I was just hoping that we weren't going to be, like, super sad. That this, he didn't get blown on the water. I mean, his legs are banged up, and he's not in great, great standing right now, but he went in there, competed, didn't get finished. So that's huge. Here we go.

Bruce Buffer in just one of the blackiest jackets I've ever seen. Yeah. A little bit of Christmas vibes. We're about to get a 3027, 3027, 29, 28. Let's see if first buffer's going to say multiple judges' names. Nope. 3027 across the board. Yeah, it was never even.

Not surprised. Yeah. All right. I mean, look, competitive fight. Lost a small shot on why by decision. But we hit the over one and a half. So well done. You did hit the over one and a half.

You were like, hey, Joe, take Chris Wideman so I can be against everyone and win 0.17 units on my Braddivar's minus 280 bed. Oh, the slide? I love this drive time radio soundboard we got going. This is great. It's like family guy when the radio guys are on. It's just nothing but sound effects and cheesy jokes. It's tremendous. All right, Chris Wyndman.

Hey. Nice. For Brad Tavares. Happy for Eric Nixick and the crew. The teams are all got along. There was nothing but respect between those two guys. So there you go. I mean, I guess it's probably like as good as we can hope for.

Ron Perlman doing the cold open. The guy. So we had Corrine A Silva, submit Marina Morose with a second left of the last. the first round. Natty Ice defeats Andrea Lees, so the gimmick parlay, the Silva Parlay, Caches. Congratulations. Plus 110. Andre Petroski, Gerald Mearschart.

Felt like under two and a half was a pretty good bet, but it turns out none of these guys wanted to get finished. They actually had a pretty fun scrap. Petrosky wins a splitie. Brad Catona, Cody Gibson. What a freaking fight on her. Holy smokes, dude. They delivered. As a man who watched every episode

of Tuff, it was all worth to get to watch that one. I mean, the funniest thing is, is on the last episode, Cota Gibson did nothing but say how boring all of Brad Cotonas fights are and how much everyone hates Brad Cotona because his fights are so boring. And then they go out and put on that show. That was fantastic. Spectacios.

Congratulations to Brad Cotona. First two-time winner of the Ultimate Fighter. Noble Champ. Yes. You know, I've been asking everybody this, but Multimate Fighter or Ultimate Ultimate Ultimate Fighter? I like Ultimate Ultimate. I know Brad likes Multimate. I'm an Ultimate Ultimate Ultimate.

Ultimate Ultimat sounds so much better. Yeah, Multimate. It sounds like a Muppet term. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So Kurt Hollabo, he's back in the UFC. Triangle Chokes a mission went over Austin Hubbard. Got a feel for Austin Hubbard. The dude has been through a lot.

He sacrificed a ton for this opportunity, made it to the finals, and gets finished by Kurt Hollabo. I don't know if the UFC's going to be in a rush to keep him on the roster. I do feel like they're going to offer Cody Gibson an opportunity to stick around because I think he deserves it after that fight. Gregory Rodriguez, nasty elbow from my... But a little bit of controversy here. Apparently, one of those elbows, the finishing blow, if you will,

hit Toulin in the back of the head. So DC was very vocal about it. A lot of other people were kind of vocal about it as well. So I have a feeling that one is going to maybe get another look. It's probably not going to change anything. And then we just saw Brad Tavir's defeat Chris Wyman. So of what we've seen in the prelim so far, what has stood out the most to you?

Who impressed you the most? What's the big takeaway? I mean, Natty Silver. She is an impressive, impressive fighter at 1.25. I mean, she is fast. She's athletic, and she put on another great performance here, man. I mean, I'm really excited to see where she goes from here. I mean, Corini Silva, though, another finish for her.

She only wins by finish, like exclusively by finish. So she could be a player as well. But probably, yeah, the Silva Silva action was fairly impressive. Widman making it the 15 and being in a competitive fight, it was nice to see as well. And Kurt Hoffa, man. I mean, shout out, dude. O-N-4 in the UFC, prior to tough.

And then the Lee Hammond fight on tough. I mean, he was losing that fight, and it was only supposed to be a two-rounder. It was about to be over for him. And he would have been sent home. But gets a massive submission out of nowhere, comes out, gets a big win in the semis, and then does it in Boston,

and gets a win by finish. And now he's back in the UFC. So crazy. Yeah, all of those have been quite impressive and it takes us to this, the main card. Yeah, Kurt Holbo, it's his official first Octagon win. Crazy. Crazy. I do have to say, we talked about this in the back.

Nice to see a little switchup, the tough shorts in the pay-per-view card. We're, you know, Venom everywhere, and then we get the tough shorts, nice little switchup. Speaking of Switcho, yeah. Want to have the chat do a bet? Yeah, let's do it. A little chat bet, all right. A little Marlonon Chavira versus... Pedro Munoz.

Pedro Munoz, yes. And it's going to be a good one. You can hear on John Inix voice how excited he is to be in this building right now. And the thing about Boston is they were out for the first fight. It wasn't like a full house, but there are a lot of people making noise for that first fight, and they have been loud the entire time. Al Jermaine Sterling versus Sean O'Malley, the main event. Connor, let me ask you this.

Because I think most people are kind of in the same thinking when it comes to this fight. this is a bad matcher for Sean O'Malley stylistically. However, the vibes, the talk of destiny, and this is meant to be, and on this night, like, I'm supposed to win. That feeling is just all over the place in Boston. It's all over the place amongst the M.M.A. community that this is just destiny that Sean O'Malley is going to win in some weird, chaotic way. What is more interesting to you for the future of this division?

Is it Sterling winning and vacating and then trying to fill those? two slots on how to crown a new champion, or Sean O'Malley winning, and this division just gets flipped upside down, and Maritocacy is throwing up right out the window. That's not even a question. You can't even make that a question to me. Which one is more interesting? Sean O'Malley, finishing Al Jermaine Sterly, becoming the Bantamway champion of the world, and then we just go from there. I mean, no doubt about it. I really don't have, like, a dog in the race. Like, I like both of these fighters. But for chaos sake, I want Sean O'Malley to win because it would just be insane.

Like it just, I just feel like he, like, obviously with his resume compared to Al Jemaine Sterling's resume, he's going to have doubters with the stylistic matchup. He's not great for him against Al Jemey and Sterling. He's going to have doubters, you know, all the statistics about, you know, he hasn't beaten anyone currently on the UFC roster other than the Peoria split decision victory. you know, it feels like he really hasn't had, like, a signature win to get him to the title shot. Now he's here. And if he wins it, it'll just be so insane.

It'll just be so crazy. I feel like there's, like, there's some pressure on Sean O'Malley, but very little, very little. I mean, he's also, what, 28s, though? Yeah. If he is set up as the star of this division, it is, I mean, if you were in Boston, everybody who's talking about Sean O'Malley, everything, press conference ceremony away ins, and it's all about Sean O'Malley. the son-omalley wigs were everywhere in bean town this week he's a star and he was a big reason that this building sold out as fast as it did. Sean O'Malley has been the adopted New Englander heading into this fight so I think the UFC needed to test that and see where his star power is

if he loses to Al Jermaine Sterling it's not the end of the world no no dude this is his first main event yeah this is his first main event man I he could he could retire and of happening like 10 main events under his belt if Sean loses this fight at worst he's just going to have to go beat one guy, and then he's right back in it. He might just get it, he might just get another title shot. They could just do Marab versus Sean O'Malley for the vacant title because it, not only did the winner fight for the jacket, the win, fight for the belt, they fight for the jacket too.
