This is the UFC 292
Watch Party.
Let's go, everybody.
The excitement in the air.
It is unmatched.
Welcome to the UFC 292 watch party
here on MAAfighting.com.
I am Mike Hack. That is G.C. rocking the Brian Scalibeney jersey.
Let's go. We're all Boston up in here. We got the, let's get the name on the back.
Brian Scalabrini, the goat. You got the David Ortiz, the Red Sox had. I mean, we're
repping in here for Bean Town. We are. And the hype levels throughout the week in Boston in
particular have been off the charts. Boots on the ground. Boots on the ground. Boots on the ground.
drop my rental car at 5 a, like 3 a.m. this morning.
Wow.
7 a.m. flight out here.
We are here for this incredible main car that's about to kick off.
But right now, this doesn't happen that often.
It does not happen.
This doesn't happen that often either.
Look, right here in the corner, we got Mike's bets on the screen as well as mine.
I gave it a nice blue hue, change it up a little bit to have you on there.
You are also on Chris Wydenman.
That's who we are on.
Is they're about to start round two?
Yes.
And like we said, you get a bonus fight.
You get a bonus watch party.
We get a bonus fight.
We get something to fill the air rather than us to talk.
Chris Wyman's return.
Round one is in the books.
Competitive first round.
Probably Tavaris.
Probably Tavaris.
But like, We're still in there.
Taking a couple leg kicks.
He just took another one.
Got the walk.
I like where we're at right now.
I like where we're at.
I do as well.
It seems like Wyman is starting to loosen up a little bit.
Did go for three takedoms.
didn't land any of them.
So we'll see if he can get this fight to the ground.
I feel like he has big advantages if he does,
but Tavares has a nice takedown defense.
Yeah, it's just a matter of,
I mean, if he can get a takedown,
he's going to be a really good shape,
but Tavares does have really good takedown defense.
Wibin's just got to get in a position.
But I feel, I don't know, I feel like momentum
is kind of in Tavaris's camp right now.
I mean, he just landed a bunch of leg kicks.
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
No.
Oh, man.
Wow, it's red.
It's super red.
It looks like we're about to get a leg kick TKO for Brad Tvaris.
Brad Tvaris landed a leg kick.
Wyman is stumbling.
God, man.
Oh, there's another one.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Wyman needs to take down, like, real quick.
Keith Peterson is looking on real close.
Brad Tavares landing now.
Another leg kick.
I mean, he's just, he's landing these things.
At first, I was like, is he playing possum?
But not, not.
And he's still going for headkicks, though.
Yeah, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's, he's,
poker-facing it, though.
Oh, another low kick from Tavares.
Man, Tavares is, another one.
He's going for these things, man.
I mean, you got to do it.
I mean, if you're going to get in there and fight, this ain't cheapy stuff.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm surprised we're not seeing Wiedman, forcing more takedowns.
He's got him close to the fence.
Oh, oh, oh, big shot!
Oh, Wynman, big shot!
Oh, all right.
He hit.
You see that sigh of relief from tomorrow?
Oh, my God, for a half second.
Look at Wyman.
He's taking these.
He's taking them now.
He pointed at him.
Oh, he's saying, come on, this is crazy.
Oh, dude, for half a second, I thought Wyman was about to knock him out.
Oh, Wyman with the combination.
The crowd is going nuts right now.
Oh, nuts shot, nuts shot.
Yeah, that's a big ding.
That's a kick to the ding thing thing.
That was a point.
I thought he heard him to the body for a half second.
That was an Adam Venetary.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Love that.
He thought you taking a point.
Did you take a point?
It looks like it.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, yeah.
No, I think that's going to kind of.
All right, it, I, it touched him.
This wasn't as bad.
Like, the live watch looked way worse than that.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think so, too.
Yeah, it like dragged up.
It, like, it's still.
took a point.
Yeah, he, Keith Peterson,
he had a hard time getting him off.
Take a point for that,
but like 19 fence grab warnings.
Can you imagine if Keith Peterson
takes a point right now?
He's talking to someone.
We have a visitor coming
into the studio here.
Wow, man, what an insane second round
so far.
That was freaking wild, man.
That, I mean,
that might not be illegal.
I can't tell.
They're saying right now,
they're telling Keith Peterson.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's going to be...
Yeah, I'm trying to listen to what they're saying, yeah.
Keith Peterson's talking to the officials.
Yeah.
All right.
All right.
All right.
Sorry if I gave that false.
Frank.
Where's your thing?
Welcome, welcome to the program.
Yeah.
Oh, Chris Wyndon.
Oh, man.
How do you think Keith...
Oh, my gosh.
Don't do the leg.
That leg kick hurt him bad.
That leg kick hurt him bad.
Yeah, Joe Rogan just said it.
Leg kick in clinic from Brad Tava is here.
man, Chris Wyman's having some moments, though, man.
Yeah, he's getting, he's having some moments here.
He's getting me out of my seat.
Is he winning this round?
I don't know.
I mean, maybe, yeah.
Was it this round?
It was this round that he was so hobbled.
Yeah, he did get hobbled, but he-
Oh, take-down attempt?
This would be huge.
Oh, he's over a takedown.
He's in deep.
Dude, Tavares' his takedown defense is crazy.
Yeah.
All right, that's...
Oh, oh, oh!
Oh, Ryan's got him!
Can he get him up?
Can he get him up?
He's got the hands left.
Dude, Tavares'
Tavares' down defense is crazy.
We got a minute 30 left here.
I like the chance.
In round two, sorry.
I just realized that this is the bonus fight.
We're like going crazy on the prelop.
Yes.
What are they asking, Frank?
For a clock.
Oh, yeah, I mean, we can get a clock up next round.
Yeah, we'll get it up there.
I mean, we'll have to check that with the control room.
I mean, look at Frank, man.
He's always got to say something.
man.
You've just now figured that out.
All right, cool.
Sounds good, man.
Sounds good, dude.
Yeah, we'll get the clock up.
How did that water fountain work out?
Oh, yeah, the water fountain was great.
Nice right hand from Wydenman, though, it missed.
Yeah, the water phone definitely didn't work there, Frank.
But, you know.
A little inside.
Yeah, I was going to say, that's a little inside baseball.
Oh, a little head kick attempt.
All right.
Nope, we get them wrapped.
Oh, can he get him down.
If he can get a takedown here, he may not be able to do much with it, but...
I like the clinch work.
If we could at least...
I like the clenchwork here.
They're battling against the fence.
to the body from Wydman.
Tavar's still pretty thoroughly outstruck him here.
20 to 13, but I feel like Widman has done pretty well.
His strikes have counted here a little bit more than Brad.
Oh, man, he's getting him.
Brad sneaks slits out of there.
Varus.
Farris does not get taken down.
He's doing really good.
Wide, oh, nice kick, nice kick.
Five and five on takedown.
It's right back out of ours, yep.
Tavars, right.
Whiteman's.
Nothing like heck.
Wyman's checking.
Oh, nice right hand.
Right hand and that left hand hit.
All right.
Final seconds and that's it.
Round two with the books.
Do you think there's any chance he won that round?
Maybe.
I don't know.
Let's take a look at the live odds.
Let's see what those say.
I mean, obviously not indicative of who won rounds or not.
But I would say maybe like minus 250 for Tavares.
Minus 345 for Tavaris.
All right.
So that tells me.
me...
Just jump, minus 300, Tavares.
Okay, so that tells me
that most feel that second round
could have gone Widman's way.
I'm sure the live odds
after round one,
higher than that,
the way Tavar is...
Man, what a, what a start to this
freaking watch party here, man.
You get bonus coverage,
ladies and gentlemen.
This is fantastic.
It's been a...
It's...
To describe, like, the feeling
before we got started,
the fights have been really good.
This whole card has been really good,
but...
I think most people who were watching the prelims getting ready for the main card kind of had the same thought.
Like, these are all good fights, but I just, I want to get to the main card so bad.
I just knew once we got to that Robocop fight.
Yeah.
I knew from like then on, I was like pretty invested into every single fight that was remaining on the card.
We got freaking Brad Catona in a fight of the year contender to win the ultimate fighter for the second time.
Absolute banger from the bantamites.
Here we go, round three.
Round three.
This is huge.
The fact that Wyman is this far, I feel better about things.
I'm not watching this fight in between my fingers.
Yeah, no, I like the fight that he showed in that second round.
Let's see if he can do something here.
Especially when he got hobbled with that leg kick.
Oh, dude, I thought it was done there.
I thought it was legit over.
Yep.
Another hard leg kick from Brad Tavares.
How about the fight from Chris Wyatman, man?
Yeah.
Come back after all this time off.
Fight through these just like he's got to be an insane.
Oh, now that's a kick.
in the ding-ding. Keith, Keith. Yeah.
Yeah, good call by Keith.
Brad Taviris landed this one.
They both tried to throw like kicks at the same time,
and Taviris got in there.
Are we going to see another replay?
I mean, if you want to make the crowd happy,
now Keith Peterson, take a point from Brad Tavar.
Oh, my gosh, could you imagine?
That'd be so brutal.
Oh, yeah, that's a bad one.
That's a bad one.
That got everything.
Yeah, yeah, that's...
Look at his face. He even knows what he's doing.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, I see, oh, man.
Yeah, man, like, Brad Tovar's, like, I mean,
Chris Wyman, like, did a split into that, dude.
That is.
Knee to shin.
But Wyman's like, let's go.
45 seconds.
Didn't even take a full minute.
Yeah.
You would see me milk every second of those five minutes.
Like, I got to catch my breath at least.
I'm out.
I can't continue.
Do I win a no contest?
Oh, we go to the cards to draw.
Here we go.
Oh.
I would look.
Gosh.
I would love to see the judge's scorecards right now.
I know.
Like, if it's 1919, this would be...
Another hard leg kick.
Wyman Denaughes that way.
Vars is, like, winding up for these leg kicks.
Yeah.
Like, they are so insane.
Oh, no, you step back.
Oh, man, he just said the F word.
You can tell he's not in good shape.
Tavares unload.
Oh, no, no.
Oh, big leg kick from Tavar.
Oh, these leg kicks are landing.
He's just unloading it now.
Oh.
That was a little headbutt right there from...
Tabaris, it looks like...
I mean, Tavares at this one is just abandoning anything
about the leg kicks. I mean, I feel like he sees
a path to a finish with the leg kicks.
Yeah, he should just be throwing him over
it over again.
Oh.
What happened? Did he just land that?
Why did we go over a takedown?
Did those land?
It didn't look like it, but it phased him.
Yeah. It did not look like they landed.
Great takedown defense.
Back in the middle here.
Another leg kick from Brad Tavar's.
Wyman's right leg looks
Oh yeah, dude, he's not going to be walking right
for a week and a half
He's going in, it ain't the prettiest thing
All right, back against the fence
If Wyman get a takedown here
Oh, he almost got it
Oh!
There's Al Javier
You can see Aljave's Salli?
I mean, can we talk about
like Brad's Vars's takedown defense here?
Like this is pretty incredible.
Yes, this has been
a leg kicking, takedown, defending
expose
for Brad Tivores. Going in there again.
I mean, this, why I'm just going to
keep this, this griminess up? Just go against
the defense. Make it nasty. Make it nasty.
That's his best chance. You can't fight
Tavaris at space anymore.
Man, that...
Checking all these leg kicks. That
moment last round when he was checking the leg
kicks and he was pointing to the ground
and it looked like he had a rock. Oh, big right hand
from Chris Wyden.
Oh, man, that left hand almost landed.
Here's the thing about judging, too.
The crowd is.
is so much behind Chris Biden now.
Yeah, but the only thing is,
if we're playing off a damage,
like Brad Tavaris has clearly done
so much damage to Widman's legs.
Like, I just, I don't know if this is enough
to win Wyden the fight.
Yeah, I did hit the over one and a half.
Nice, nice, let's go.
There we go.
That was, I mean, that was a steal of a line.
Oh, man, but it looked kind of sketchy there
at the beginning of front, too.
It looked super sketchy.
I was like, oh, no, he's going to lose this,
over one and a half.
I felt real good about that and the under one and a half in the Robocop fight.
That was a thing of beauty.
I used the under two and a half as a parlority piece.
That was just...
All right, come on, why would we need?
We need one big moment here in this last 90 seconds from Wyman.
It's still super close.
He's probably losing this round, but he's just...
He's like a hobbling over to Brad.
But he's just so damn tough.
I was saying on the preview show that maybe the best case scenario for all of us
is that Brad wins a competitive decision.
It's kind of one of the...
good about himself and then he could just be like look
I got back in there I was competitive
with this guy gave it
my all, didn't work out
that's it, I'm done
I mean yeah it looks like that's what we're gonna get
man because if he wins he's not gonna retire
yeah I think this is probably gonna be like a
oh a little jabby jab here from
Weidman
I feel like we're gonna get it to Varus
1327 229 28
it's looking that way
Wyman's just gonna
got to go. Oh, big, oh! Right hand from Wyden. He's just going to go. He's just going to go.
They set it on the broad because he doesn't have the wheels under him. Like, he doesn't have the support of his legs.
20 seconds. Unload. Come on, man. Oh. Another leg kick. This is it. 12 seconds. Big rush. Oh, left hand.
10. 10. Eight. Just go. Just go. Just chuck them. Run. Well, no, you can't.
run. All right, that's it. Good fight. Yeah, it feels like that's a Brad Tavarous win. It probably is,
but you never know. Judges can be a little squarely sometimes. I mean, it was clear round one,
Brad Tavaris. I feel like it could be two Tavaris, but Wyman landed the bigger punches,
I think. I feel like it, and then I feel like it was, that felt pretty clear Brad Tavar's round
I think, yeah. Again, though, like in the stretch, like the actual punches to the face, Blydman did better,
Yeah, it just depends.
A lot of times, and it irks me, is that judges don't give,
kicks to the body, kicks the legs, enough juice.
That would be the path to get to a Wydenman victory here,
so if they don't give enough juice to the leg kicks.
We'll see what happens.
But he made it the full 15.
He did make it the full 15.
I mean, it was nice.
And took a beating to the legs.
Yeah.
So I guess that's a positive.
All right.
So I was hoping, I was very,
I was just hoping that we weren't going to be, like, super sad.
That this, he didn't get blown on the water.
I mean, his legs are banged up, and he's not in great, great standing right now,
but he went in there, competed, didn't get finished.
So that's huge.
Here we go.
Bruce Buffer in just one of the blackiest jackets I've ever seen.
Yeah.
A little bit of Christmas vibes.
We're about to get a 3027, 3027, 29, 28.
Let's see if first buffer's going to say multiple judges' names.
Nope.
3027 across the board.
Yeah, it was never even.
Not surprised.
Yeah.
All right.
I mean, look, competitive fight.
Lost a small shot on why by decision.
But we hit the over one and a half.
So well done.
You did hit the over one and a half.
I also won my bet on this one.
Yes.
You took what, Brad Tavar is?
Brad Tavar's.
Money line.
You know, half a unit, but where are you guys sitting?
Frank, can I ask you a question?
Have a unit on what?
Minus 2.80?
It doesn't matter.
The point is...
Happy unit on minus 280?
My guy won.
You could buy a back of gum.
0.17 units?
I was going to offer you guys dinner, but no more.
Oh, I mean...
I don't want your...
I don't want your Brad Tavares dinner.
Yeah.
I mean, that just makes me sad.
Like, how does it?
That's almost soulless to bet against Chris Wyman.
Well, he only did it because he saw all of us were on wide.
That's what he said in the back for him.
Joe even took Weidman.
You actually asked Joe to take Weidman so you'd be against everything.
We don't have to go that far.
There's no conspiracy here.
There's no conspiracy.
You said it.
You said it.
You were like, hey, Joe, take Chris Wideman so I can be against everyone and win 0.17 units on my Braddivar's minus 280 bed.
Oh, the slide?
I love this drive time radio soundboard we got going.
This is great.
It's like family guy when the radio guys are on.
It's just nothing but sound effects and cheesy jokes.
It's tremendous.
All right, Chris Wyndman.
Hey.
Nice.
For Brad Tavares.
Happy for Eric Nixick and the crew.
The teams are all got along.
There was nothing but respect between those two guys.
So there you go.
I mean, I guess it's probably like as good as we can hope for.
Ron Perlman doing the cold open.
The guy.
So we had Corrine A Silva, submit Marina Morose with a second left of the last.
the first round. Natty Ice defeats
Andrea Lees, so the gimmick parlay,
the Silva Parlay, Caches.
Congratulations. Plus 110.
Andre Petroski, Gerald Mearschart.
Felt like under two and a half was a pretty
good bet, but it turns out
none of these guys wanted to get finished. They actually had a pretty
fun scrap. Petrosky wins
a splitie. Brad Catona,
Cody Gibson. What a freaking fight
on her. Holy smokes, dude.
They delivered. As a man who watched every episode
of Tuff, it was all worth
to get to watch that one.
I mean, the funniest thing is, is on the last episode,
Cota Gibson did nothing but say how boring all of Brad Cotonas fights are
and how much everyone hates Brad Cotona because his fights are so boring.
And then they go out and put on that show.
That was fantastic.
Spectacios.
Congratulations to Brad Cotona.
First two-time winner of the Ultimate Fighter.
Noble Champ.
Yes.
You know, I've been asking everybody this, but Multimate Fighter or Ultimate Ultimate Ultimate Fighter?
I like Ultimate Ultimate.
I know Brad likes Multimate.
I'm an Ultimate Ultimate Ultimate.
Ultimate Ultimat sounds so much better.
Yeah, Multimate.
It sounds like a Muppet term.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So Kurt Hollabo, he's back in the UFC.
Triangle Chokes a mission went over Austin Hubbard.
Got a feel for Austin Hubbard.
The dude has been through a lot.
He sacrificed a ton for this opportunity, made it to the finals,
and gets finished by Kurt Hollabo.
I don't know if the UFC's going to be in a rush to keep him on the roster.
I do feel like they're going to offer Cody Gibson an opportunity to stick around
because I think he deserves it after that fight.
Gregory Rodriguez, nasty elbow from my...
But a little bit of controversy here.
Apparently, one of those elbows, the finishing blow, if you will,
hit Toulin in the back of the head.
So DC was very vocal about it.
A lot of other people were kind of vocal about it as well.
So I have a feeling that one is going to maybe get another look.
It's probably not going to change anything.
And then we just saw Brad Tavir's defeat Chris Wyman.
So of what we've seen in the prelim so far,
what has stood out the most to you?
Who impressed you the most?
What's the big takeaway?
I mean, Natty Silver.
She is an impressive, impressive fighter at 1.25.
I mean, she is fast.
She's athletic, and she put on another great performance here, man.
I mean, I'm really excited to see where she goes from here.
I mean, Corini Silva, though, another finish for her.
She only wins by finish, like exclusively by finish.
So she could be a player as well.
But probably, yeah, the Silva Silva action was fairly impressive.
Widman making it the 15 and being in a competitive fight,
it was nice to see as well.
And Kurt Hoffa, man.
I mean, shout out, dude.
O-N-4 in the UFC, prior to tough.
And then the Lee Hammond fight on tough.
I mean, he was losing that fight,
and it was only supposed to be a two-rounder.
It was about to be over for him.
And he would have been sent home.
But gets a massive submission out of nowhere,
comes out, gets a big win in the semis,
and then does it in Boston,
and gets a win by finish.
And now he's back in the UFC.
So crazy.
Yeah, all of those have been quite impressive and it takes us to this, the main card.
Yeah, Kurt Holbo, it's his official first Octagon win.
Crazy.
Crazy.
I do have to say, we talked about this in the back.
Nice to see a little switchup, the tough shorts in the pay-per-view card.
We're, you know, Venom everywhere, and then we get the tough shorts, nice little switchup.
Speaking of Switcho, yeah.
Want to have the chat do a bet?
Yeah, let's do it.
A little chat bet, all right.
A little Marlonon Chavira versus...
Pedro Munoz.
Pedro Munoz, yes.
And it's going to be a good one.
You can hear on John Inix voice how excited he is to be in this building right now.
And the thing about Boston is they were out for the first fight.
It wasn't like a full house, but there are a lot of people making noise for that first fight,
and they have been loud the entire time.
Al Jermaine Sterling versus Sean O'Malley, the main event.
Connor, let me ask you this.
Because I think most people are kind of in the same thinking when it comes to this fight.
this is a bad matcher for Sean O'Malley stylistically.
However, the vibes, the talk of destiny, and this is meant to be, and on this night,
like, I'm supposed to win.
That feeling is just all over the place in Boston.
It's all over the place amongst the M.M.A. community that this is just destiny that
Sean O'Malley is going to win in some weird, chaotic way.
What is more interesting to you for the future of this division?
Is it Sterling winning and vacating and then trying to fill those?
two slots on how to crown a new champion, or Sean O'Malley winning, and this division just gets
flipped upside down, and Maritocacy is throwing up right out the window.
That's not even a question. You can't even make that a question to me. Which one is more
interesting? Sean O'Malley, finishing Al Jermaine Sterly, becoming the Bantamway champion
of the world, and then we just go from there. I mean, no doubt about it. I really don't have,
like, a dog in the race. Like, I like both of these fighters. But for chaos sake,
I want Sean O'Malley to win because it would just be insane.
Like it just, I just feel like he, like, obviously with his resume compared to Al Jemaine Sterling's resume,
he's going to have doubters with the stylistic matchup.
He's not great for him against Al Jemey and Sterling.
He's going to have doubters, you know, all the statistics about, you know,
he hasn't beaten anyone currently on the UFC roster other than the Peoria split decision victory.
you know, it feels like he really hasn't had, like, a signature win to get him to the title shot.
Now he's here.
And if he wins it, it'll just be so insane.
It'll just be so crazy.
I feel like there's, like, there's some pressure on Sean O'Malley, but very little, very little.
I mean, he's also, what, 28s, though?
Yeah.
If he is set up as the star of this division, it is, I mean, if you were in Boston, everybody who's talking about Sean O'Malley, everything, press conference ceremony away ins, and it's all about Sean O'Malley.
the son-omalley wigs were everywhere in bean town this week he's a star and he was a big reason that
this building sold out as fast as it did. Sean O'Malley has been the adopted New Englander
heading into this fight so I think the UFC needed to test that and see where his star power is
if he loses to Al Jermaine Sterling it's not the end of the world no no dude this is his first main
event yeah this is his first main event man I he could he could retire and of happening like
10 main events under his belt if Sean loses this fight at worst he's just going to have to go beat
one guy, and then he's right back in it. He might just get it, he might just get another title
shot. They could just do Marab versus Sean O'Malley for the vacant title because it,
not only did the winner fight for the jacket, the win, fight for the belt, they fight for the
jacket too. I was going to say, yeah. Put the jacket on the pole, jacket on the pole match.
First one he grabbed the jacket wins the title. I love it. It'll just be so insane. Yeah.
Alja, rocking a little green in the hair this week.
Beantown. I love it. Scalabrini green. I love it, dude. We got the, uh, a colorful
full hair matchup. I'm a big fan of that, big fan of that. Love this fight. I'm very excited for it.
Zhang Wei Li Amanda Lemos, another really interesting fight. Have you noticed amongst the
betting community that Amanda Lemoche has become sort of the darling underdog of this card?
I do know some- I do know some people that are honoring, yeah. Yeah, I mean, I get it.
Like, I mean, she's a ferocious, like aggressive, violent woman. She has insane finishing upside.
I mean, if you go back and watch the Marina Rodriguez fight, like,
She just chucks them in there.
And I mean, I think this fight is going to be insanity from the jump.
Both these women push the pace.
They are aggressive.
They look for finishes.
I think it's going to be craziness from the jump.
So, I mean, at the odds, like, I don't really fault them.
I'll never really fault anyone for taking a big dog, but I'm on Wiley-Jong to retain.
My biggest single bet on this card is Zhang Wei Li inside the distance.
Nice.
Mine is the main event doesn't go to the decision.
So we're all on the violence drain tonight.
Oh, yeah.
I got violence parlayers left and right.
Love it all.
Nice to have Mikey in the degenerate pool with me.
Yes.
This is not going to be a regular thing.
I mean, maybe for the watch parties,
because of our good friends of draft kings.
Maybe we'll just do this from time to time.
I hop on board, man.
Yeah.
It's great getting to lose money on international airways.
For sure.
For sure.
And my units are,
It's not a lot
So if I just get swept up
It's not going to be the end of the world
Want to do some trivia while we wait for the chat bet to come through?
Let's do it
All right Frank we'll start with you my friend
The first UFC pay-per-view
Ever in Boston
Was UFC 118
August 2010
Featured a title fight
The Lightway title on the line
Frankie Edgar defeated BJ Penn for the second time
Yeah this was also a 10-fight card
We had five decisions
and five finishes.
Were the five finishes on this card all knockouts or all submissions?
You know what was fun is that they were all knockouts?
Connor, do you agree?
Just for the sake of disagreeing, I'm going to go with submissions.
Circle gets the square, all submissions.
Five submissions, five decisions, five decisions.
I thought a knockout was a specific.
Eat it, bro.
Frank, up until tonight, there have been four world title fights.
to take place in Boston for the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
How many times has a UFC title changed hands in Boston?
That was seven.
In four fights. How is that possible?
I'm going to say two.
I meant three.
You would both be wrong.
Only one.
Dominic Cruz won the Bannam White title from T.J. Dillishaw.
At a fight night, I was there.
It was very, very cool.
Wait a minute.
Chat has spoken.
Oh, what did I get?
What are they say? It is Cheeto by knockout.
Whoa.
Wow. I didn't think we were going to get a finish on the chat bed at all here.
Pedro Munoz Marlon Chirovera.
We're going to take winning method.
Marlon Chito Vera by knockout plus 400.
I was going to say, that's got to be a tasty line.
Tasty line. Both are super durable.
Speaking to Tasty while we wait, while we kill a little bit of time here before we get into this fight?
He's in the middle of trivia.
Well, this goes along with the trivia.
Boston baked beans.
I don't know if you'll, I don't know if we can read that there on the camera.
We got a 24 pack of Boston baked beans.
And I'm going to tell you something right now.
I've never had Boston baked beans before.
Is it like hard candy or what?
It is candy-coated peanuts.
I got a 24-pack if you want to come get something.
I do.
All right, come on in.
I'll throw enough for the whole team back there.
You know how like, let me tell you a little story about you.
You eat Boston baked beans?
Not, it's been, I mean, it's been probably three days.
Is this a thing in Boston?
So, you know how like you go trick or treating for Halloween and then you go to that one person's house?
There's one.
All right, here we go, two.
Here we go, three.
Will Frank catch a single one?
Oh, he got that one.
Jeez.
No, that one dropped, I think.
That one also dropped.
Oh, all right, all right, there we go.
There it is.
There it is.
We're grooving now.
Let's just keep the street going.
How many can we catch in a row?
Frankie!
We were going.
there for a second, huh?
He was gloves saving him.
Like, Ron Hexon.
That was great, man.
Wow.
That was great.
That was wild.
You know how, like, when you're a kid, you go trick-or-treating and you get, like, all
this great candies?
These are the shitty ones?
One person's house, and they just give you a box of raisins.
This is the equivalent of-
I mean, these really do look like baked beans.
Like, they're too small for the camera, but, like, they legit look like, wow,
crunchy.
Yeah.
Big crunch.
Big crunch.
They're not bad, but they're not great either.
Wow.
They are exactly that.
Like, they are not bad, well, they're not great either.
Like, it's just never going to be your first choice.
Never, ever would these be my first choice?
It would just be like your 300th choice.
But if it happens to be...
Why are they so crunchy?
Because you're, I don't know.
They're surrounded in hard candy.
What do you think of them, Brian?
I'm having a hard time eating them right now.
Why?
Oh, yeah, Frank.
Because my mouth is all messed up.
Are you eating it?
Yeah.
Wow, this, I feel like this is the worst possible thing you could eat.
Yeah, but I did it for the watch party.
I think they actually taste good.
I mean, do y'all hear that?
Yeah, I mean, everything is just...
I prefer these than to, like, honey peanuts.
Like, honey roasted peanuts?
Yeah.
With the shells and all that stuff?
No, I mean, like, you know, on a Southwest flight and they're like, oh, here's the peanuts.
Oh, yeah.
I'd want the baked beans.
There's a little extra, like...
Like, you're talking, like, normal honey roasted peanuts?
Is that we're telling them?
Yeah, I don't like them. They're too sweet.
What?
Wow.
You would rather have these?
That is a spicy.
Yeah, I like these more.
No, that's an insanely hot take.
Yeah, these are just the, it's the most okay food in the history of food.
It's just okay.
But, hey, listen, if you like them, well-time.
I would choose a singular honey-roasted peanut over 100 boxes of Boston baked beans.
Yeah, I'm not surprised.
You hear that?
It's like I'm biting into like a skeleton.
It's like eating.
It's like a bone snapping.
I don't know if it's my tooth or what.
Have you ever had like dehydrated
wasabi peanuts?
I have, yeah.
It's the same thing.
They're crunchy.
Frank, you're definitely...
It's so great.
I feel like his teeth are just...
You're definitely going to have to go back to the dentist.
No, yeah.
I'm regretting eating too.
I mean, seriously, dude?
These are like...
These are just like the hardest candy of all time.
I got to do one more.
Yes.
I mean...
It sounds like a bone.
Have you guys ever tried to chew on a sour skittal?
Oh, dude, yeah, those are tough.
Those are hard.
I think I have had a...
I've lost a tooth to that.
This is like an entertaining grunge, but...
That's the best part of it is the crunch of other people eating them.
Let me get nice and close to the mic here.
Put up.
You know, I have a headphone on right now.
I mean, shout out to Boston Baked beans.
Yeah.
Never had them.
We'll never have them again.
As soon as you mentioned them, Joe looked at me.
He just started shaking his head now.
I still got like 20 boxes if anyone wants me.
Or we could just see if Frank and catch all 20 boxes.
How long do you think, you know, have you guys ever been on the subway and someone selling candy?
All the time.
You don't show called Boston Bean.
Yeah.
Oh.
I know.
His last words were,
have you ever been on a sublet
when someone would start to say candy?
Oh, my God.
Dude, if I chugged out on Boston baked bean.
If that's the...
If that's how I died, I'd kill myself.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Anyway.
So have another one.
Yeah, back to what I was saying.
I have to finish the box.
I'm committing to the bit.
I have to finish the box.
if you've seen the people on the subway
how long do you think it would take me to sell this box of Boston baked beans on the subway
over under two full days of walking on the subway trying to sell these for a dollar a piece
oh you're never going to get a dollar a piece 50 cents
I don't know how any workers are pretty crazy one dollar one dollar two for a buck I think you'd
give him pretty quick I saw someone today go and put down tissues like packing
packages the tissues on the subway and then before the subway stopped they went and picked them all back up
Nice it was like they were donating something and they're like nobody grabbed them so they're like nah, I'm not just and leave these here
so here's the thing about Boston Big Beans that people don't really talk about that much
One one in every like eight boxes of these you get a you get one that has no peanut in it
No way. It's a delightful thing. I just had it you just get the camera
It's just nothing but shell you bite through it clean
It doesn't sound like you're eating 14 rocks.
And then you get to the next one.
That's what it is.
You're eating rocks.
Oh, yeah, you see?
That was not in the last bite.
Ingredients?
Somehow, these are candy-coated peanuts
and the number one ingredient is sugar.
I would have thought the number one ingredient will eat.
Candy-coded was also.
I know what I mean?
Peanuts.
Can we make a deal, though?
The peanut would be over.
From this point forward,
anyone who gets finished,
like, knocked out or submitted,
we're going to say they choked on the Boston baked bean.
All right.
I like that.
Okay.
I have another fun snack.
I'll save that for later, though.
I just got two shells in a row.
Wow.
Wow.
Now you're making me want to crack open another box to try and find one of these all shell.
All shells.
It's like the Captain Crunch Oops All Berries.
Oh, that's an all-time cereal right there.
Absolutely.
I'm not a Captain Crunch fan.
We get two more trivia questions.
Frank,
Sean O'Malley is tied for fourth for the most knockouts and the history of the UFC Bannamweight Division.
He has five.
name one of the three fighters ahead of Sean O'Malley on that list.
Hamsat.
He says Hamsat.
At 135.
Name one of the three fighters who have more Bantamweight knockouts than Shano Malley.
Oh, Bantamweight.
Got it.
I know.
I'm going to say Cheeto.
There you go.
Yeah.
Looking right at him.
There is one.
Can you name another?
Active right now.
One is not active, but it wouldn't surprise me if you were active again someday.
The other one is also...
Cody Garberant.
Not Cody Garberant.
T.J. Dilashaw has the most of seven.
Stole the words out of my mouth.
Ah, there you go.
Who's the other one, Frank?
Paul Weinberg.
No.
Rob Font.
Did you say Paul Wanwein?
Rob Fonts.
Paul Weinberg is better than...
No!
Paul Weinberg is a better guest than Hamzot.
I don't know what's...
going on here?
What?
I forgot to get the chat bet in.
I got distracted.
Yeah, I got to, I got distracted and I...
I thought you put it in.
The baked beans got me distracted.
I was like, oh, I need to put...
You distracted yourself.
Yeah, and I just wanted to...
Too late?
I just put it...
Oh, okay.
No, I placed bet, and...
Yeah, let's just say it's in.
Let's have some fun.
Yeah, it's in. It's in there.
That's it.
We're going to go to the Price's right final question.
Yes.
Frank, we'll start with you.
Marlon Vera, who is...
about to fight has the largest
negative significant strike
differential for a winner of a fight by
decision in UFC history
surpassing Robbie Lawler's win over Carlos
Connett at UFC 195.
How many more significant strikes, Frank,
did Rob Fott land on Marlon Verra
in that fight?
Closest to the number wins. What do you say?
I'm not sure. Maybe we should have done the tail of the
tape. Well, let's go to the
tip. Well, let's go through this. It's Rob Fawn. It's
the Rob Fawn. It's the Rob Fawnononononchon
Monont Chiavara fight. Right. How many
more strikes did Rob Fondon?
A hundred and twenty more.
121, 120?
And there's a tail of the tape.
136.
I mean, look at Frank trying to like push it along, man.
Pedro O'Meemuio's 135.
Marloplar, six-inch reach advantage, two-inch height advantage.
Pedroo's six years, the elder.
Both men have 20 wins.
Frank watches a UFC fight once a month,
and he's trying to tell us about the pacing of when we need tail of the tape.
I mean, look at how much time we had, Frank.
Yeah, we'll just move ahead.
You're very close.
You're very close.
I remember that fight very vividly.
He said 120.
What do you say?
Oh, I was going to say, 138?
138.
No, it is 112.
112.
112.
So, technically, my price is right.
He just dropped him every round that he won.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I remember that.
Rob Fonton landed 271 significant strikes in that fight.
Marlon Vera landed 159.
Maron Vera is over like Rover in Boston.
They freaking love him.
I'm going to be honest with you.
I think they love him just about everywhere.
Yeah. Did you see him at ceremonies yesterday?
I did.
It was incredible.
He didn't even like go on the scale.
He just ran on the stage, got right in Pedro's face, and he was like, oh, yeah, I didn't step on the scale.
And he runs back over and steps on the scale.
Dana White was dying laughing.
Yeah.
For some reason, that got him.
He was how old.
What is going on?
There's Herb Dean, Frank.
kicking him up.
So it's the thing.
This fight can end however it needs to end, provided it's after.
two and a half rounds.
Oh, yes, yes, yes.
This is your, this is your parley pales.
Oh, yes.
Yeah.
I also have, I have a...
All of our parley palpicts still have to go.
They're all on the main card.
Let's go.
Shout out to Juliana Pena.
And here we go.
All right.
Do some shadow boxing guys.
I have Maro Mvara by decision in this fight.
Nice, nice, nice.
It's a little late now that he's not on the screen, but Bruce Buffer's jacket has like,
it's almost, it's almost, it's like there's a green.
light shining on it, but there obviously isn't.
It's like really like a, it's pretty crazy.
Baran Verena.
Oh, oh, Marlon Verena.
Big shot.
Whoa!
He kicked him in the face when he's on the ground.
Me too.
Wild.
This is such an interesting fight.
Oh, good job by Cheetos.
I just feel like Munoz is just like constantly underrated.
So did that count as Marlon dropping him?
I don't know.
As if so, I think that's the first time Pedro Munoz has ever been dropped.
Oh, all right.
Pedro had some spinning stuff.
Cheeto
Hair styles ever changing
Looks great in there right now
This sounds like good
Yeah like nice little just like
Just a nice classical haircut
Looks good
Yeah I used to have that haircut
True story
Man, really
27 minutes to get the first one
I'm liking this
They're exploring
Both these dudes are tough man
Both these dudes are tough
Oh I love it
They could do that in the third round
What? Do what in the third round?
They could be tough in the third round
No you need them to be tough
all three rounds, dude.
I was...
Cheetah's back tackle looks great.
I feel like we're still just digesting
all the aesthetics of this fight, you know?
That's very, very...
Herb Dean looking good?
Looking amazing.
First time we've seen Herb Dean on a pay-per-view
since the big moment
of Porier, the slide.
Yes.
That was a legendary moment.
Nerve Dean's career.
The look at Herb.
Slide heard across the world, baby.
All right, three minutes remaining here
in round number one.
We started a little frantically, but this is kind of the fight.
A lot of us, oh, nice leg kick from Marlin.
Oh.
Oh, nice jab.
That jab's working.
Yeah.
It's hard to call this one, guys.
When they're throwing, they're both throwing at the same time and throwing lots of stuff.
Then they slow down.
Pedro moving in.
It's like Pedro's vibrating all the time.
I was going to say, yeah, this is a twitchy fight, man.
Both these dudes, I feel like they can just, oh, Munoz goes for a takedown.
They're a nice takedown defense.
and lands a leg kick.
Oh, nice jab.
That jab is money for Mario Rivera.
Another one.
A little damage starting to show on Munoz's face.
Yep.
That reach, I didn't realize he had such a big reach advantage.
Yeah, I think it's like six inches, five and a half.
But he's not that much taller, only two inches taller.
Yeah.
Oh, nice left hand.
Man, big name from there.
Vera's much more active in this.
first-yard. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All I heard all week was just like, man, he's a lot to lose the
first round. He's not losing this first round. No, he's having a lot of success. He's not blowing
the doors out, Pedro. Oh, nice combination from Marlin. Yeah, another nice up hand. That jab was
just on fire. Working nice. Oh, man, that jab really is working well for him.
It's the Robb-in- Oh, nice combination. Nice combo, dude. Pedro eats them. Good. Oh, good. Oh,
good left hand from Pedro. Oh, man. Oh, nasty little upper cut from Marlon Vera.
Oh, overhand.
Fake leg kick overhand right.
Yeah, that was nice.
Even Herb Dean was impressed, Frank.
See that what he gave him?
Super.
Whoa, what was that?
Don't even know what to say about that.
Put his foot on Pedro Munoz's shoulder.
Wow, that jab really is, man.
He is just putting that thing out there.
Pedro, yeah, Pedro's got to get this a little nasty here.
Yeah, dude, damage is really starting to show on Pedro's face.
Yeah, it can cut them open on the nose.
Oh, a little Superman jab?
That was so nice.
That was nice from Marlin.
A little bleak another jab.
That jab is money.
That jab is working well for Cheeto.
Oh, I love it to the body.
To the body.
Pager's just so damn tough.
Both of these dudes, man.
Both of these dudes.
30 seconds left.
Feel like this is a Cheeto round,
but pretty competitive, good round so far.
Yeah.
I don't think he was...
What are we sipping on over there?
Prime Energy?
Got the Prime, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
A little rocket fuel
to get you going on the Saturday night.
If you were thinking about sleeping, you're not anymore.
Ooh, nice combo from Munoz.
Now he's talking a little bit.
Oh, is a little knee to the body there from Cheeto?
Or did I read that wrong?
Oh, nice left hand.
Nice left hand from Marlon.
Oh, well done.
Good round.
And all week, everyone says that Marlon Chito Vero is destined to lose round one.
Not today, my friend.
Marlon Chito Vero wins round one in my books.
Yes.
Maybe it should have taken them one and a half.
Oh, did you?
I did the two and a half.
No, no, no, no. I know you did the two and a half, but I do think it's funny.
I forgot I, you know.
I'm getting nervous.
Nah, both these guys are tough, man.
Both these guys are tough.
There we go.
Over one and a half, parley piece for Connor.
That's actually a parley finisher, so I would really like this to get to the over one and a half.
Yes.
That would be.
What are the rest of the pieces?
Saladin Parnas, who already won on KSW main event, double champ over there.
Watch out for him.
He's an absolute monster.
Should be in the UFC someday.
You know, everyone's always like,
the future of French fighting.
Cyril Ghan, no.
Cedric Dume, no.
I think it's Aldine Parnasse.
And then the under two and a half
in the Robocop fight,
which was easy work.
Easy work.
And then the over one and a half here.
So we got two and a half minutes
to go and we catch this parlay.
Nice.
It's a good parlay right there.
Fingers crossed, knock on wood.
We'd make it another two and a half minutes.
Oh, Pedro comes right out
with a kick to the body.
Oh, they're scrapping already.
Oh, yeah.
These dudes are game as game gets
Oh
Trying to figure each other out here
Oh
Dude he keeps going for that insane
Like
It's almost like he's gonna like
Down kick on Pedro's head
Nice jab again from Cheeto
Yeah dude
Oh
DC just said
Yeah DC going for a shoot for a takedown
I actually I think that's pretty damn good idea
Yeah
Especially if you can work
Just show you might do it
A couple of media members giving it to Munoz there
I thought that was a cheat around
So did I
A lot of people saying that they felt Munoz
On the first round
Are we just like nuts?
We're Boston-Bas
Speaking of nuts
Speaking of nuts
Are you gonna eat any more of those?
You want to come in?
I'll dodge your box
There's so many over here
Oh nice left time for Munoz
Yeah, it's gonna be close
Maybe we were smoking.
I thought that was pretty clearly Vera.
I don't know.
Maybe that...
Ooh, nice combo from Cheeto,
but a nice return from Munoz.
This fight is exactly what I thought it was going to be.
Just super close.
Man, that alpricot almost landed for Pedro.
Oh, another nice jab from Vera.
Leg kick's working well for Pedro.
I like how the ESPN UFC era,
they're trying, like, different things
from a production perspective.
Yeah.
The slow-moes, the close-ups of like the leg.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, you really get a respect for like, man,
that must have hurt so bad.
Nice body kick from Pedro.
Oh, good left hand from Marlon.
Marlon just looks so much bigger than him.
Yes.
But Pedro's just $2 steak, man.
$2 steak, bro.
A little bleak kick from Cheeto,
nice right hand from Pedro.
That jab is just money.
Another nice right hand from Pedro.
Oh.
Spin kick comes up short.
Here we go.
Don't do it, Frank.
we made. There you go. I was just waiting for that.
Good parley.
You could have been done with your piece, Frankie.
I have faith now. Five minutes to go.
Pedro, outstriking him on the numbers.
Which is not surprising.
Yeah, I mean, that's typically what happens.
We just talked about fontland, 112 more.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Pedro's looking good. I actually feel like this.
The leg kicks are really starting to work for him, man.
Yeah.
This actually feels like the round that Vera has slowed down a bit.
Yeah, Pedro's much more active this round.
Oh, I love that shot.
That was a crazy little combo.
They're just fighting on the monster can, and it's super fun.
Yes, and like the second the round started, it was just like,
Zoot!
All right, we're going right at it.
Pedro hits him in the body.
It took them two seconds to get into it,
and they've just been chucking them since.
Oh, nice light kicked from there out.
Dean Thomas saying that Pedro Munoz is a match.
any stance switching that Vera's dealing?
Oh, I got to watch that.
Oh, wow, yeah.
That's a good point by Dean Tomlin.
He just did do that.
Neither left it.
None of the jab.
Oh, good right hand.
That's sort of like, that was like a little
delayed right hand from Pedro.
Oh, that little jab from Munoz.
That was nice.
Cheetah with the Natty Ice Twitch right there.
I like it.
Oh, yeah.
Natalia Silva with the hip faints.
There looks like Dak Prescott out there.
Yeah.
Maddie Ice is super good.
Oh, yeah.
Like, am I hearing booze?
That can't be heard.
Dude.
I can't be hearing booze here.
I think you are hearing booze right now.
Come on, Boston.
Or maybe it's, maybe it's,
they're saying boosting.
No, I think they're saying moonios.
Yeah, moonos.
Yeah, moonio.
There it is.
Good left hand.
Oh, nice, nice.
A little double right hand.
So close, man.
Even this round is starting to tighten up.
Oh, good left hand.
After, good left-hand counter from Pedro,
or from Marlin, excuse me.
Final 10.
Oh.
Oh, take down to the man.
Doesn't get it.
I'm going to go to Pedro.
I'm going to go to Pedro around there.
You know a little 1919 for both of you?
Yeah, a little 1919, man.
There you go.
1919.
Yeah, 1919 for me.
Close fight.
And who knows what the scorecards are in reality?
That's very true.
A lot of people said Munoz round one.
So any world where Pedro's up 2018 on some scorecards?
Maybe.
Let's see what the odds makers say after.
I'm curious.
Yeah, I'm super curious about that.
Wow.
Minus 115 each way.
Oh, ooh, baby.
Oh, baby.
That's tasty.
That's tasty right there.
This is a, I think this is a 1919 fight here.
I think you're right.
I feel pretty confident in that.
Wow, wow.
On the numbers, man.
Holy cow.
He really outstruck him in that round according to the numbers.
You know what's so nuts about this, though, is, like, Marlon Vera never looks like he even fought anybody.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
It's really crazy.
It's really crazy.
It didn't even look like he got punched once.
Yeah.
And Pedro got his zes.
been getting jabbed over and over again, and he looks like he's been in a phone.
Marlon looks like he went for a walk in Boston Common.
He really does.
Like, is he even sweating?
It's so wild.
Like, his hair, like, you can see, like, Munoz's hair is just, like, slicked with sweat,
and Cheetos is just like, he's, like, at the coffee shop.
Not one hair out of place.
He looks exactly the same as when he started fighting.
That really is crazy, dude.
Like, Herb Dean looks more tired than...
He's also showing no damage.
He's showing...
next to no damage.
It's crazy, man.
Oh, good counter-right-hand from Cheetah.
This is so ridiculous.
Oh, wow.
Nice combo there.
That jab is money.
Yeah, dude, and it's showing damage on Munoz.
Oh, yeah.
This is a better round.
Next scratch.
Yeah.
Cheetos definitely.
Oh, nice right-hand, man.
So dog-tog.
Oh, face turner there.
Oh, nice combo.
Fer is getting more aggressive.
I mean, they're just trading, dude.
Yes.
Oh, nice little body kick there.
That nice jab from Marlon.
Oh, another one, dude.
Oh, my gosh, bro.
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, he's going for that kick.
Woo!
Going for that kick.
That was close, man.
That brushed old Pedro's chinny chin chin.
Oh my gosh.
The body to the right hand.
Oh.
Pedro right back.
Yeah, dude, that jab is just landing every time he throws it right now.
Johnny Damon gets to wear the headset tonight at the garden.
Oh, yeah. Look at him, man. They're back. Shout out, JD.
The man who just left Boston for the Yankees.
Still got a hero's welcome.
He did. Hey, listen, you can't.
Is that the one in green?
That was the guy, yeah, he was in green, yeah.
This is a much better. This is probably the clearest round, start two around for Verra.
Yeah, well, look at Vera, man. He's putting the numbers up right now.
Oh, man.
Nice jab from Marlon.
Oh, nice.
Right hand.
Yeah.
Oh, another jab.
That is starting to add up.
How many jabs has Marlon Vera landed this fight?
A million.
Oh, body shot.
That was nice, dude.
Another jab.
Oh, there we go.
Here we go.
There you go.
I like how no one mentioned it,
but the second it hit,
everyone was just like, yeah.
All right, one down.
Don't want to chase him.
All right, Vera by decision.
Like, if Vera could just win a decision here, it's a clean sweep.
Ooh.
Pedro is still moving around well, but he is definitely slowing down.
No, no.
This, to me, is a clear Vera around so far, three minutes into it.
Good leg kick from Munoz.
Good answer from Marlon.
Pedro can't really get near him right now when he's throwing punches.
Oh, what a left.
Oh, that was a nasty counter left hand.
Even Johnny Damon was like, ooh.
Oh, man.
And then just right back to the jab, dude.
Right back to the jab.
Oh, again.
Oh, Pedro.
Yeah, a little combo from Pedro.
It's a good fight.
It's a good fight.
He's just not a human being.
It looks like we're seeing a little bit of sweat now on his forehead.
Yeah, he's got the bangs going.
I'm convinced if you like stop the fight and you were just like,
we're going to need you guys to go five rounds.
Shea would be like, okay.
That's it?
Yeah, he'd be like, sweet.
I'll go 10.
Big final minute here in a very close fight.
Very long outlanding Munoz in total here with these significant strikes.
See, Averick can close this out strong.
Here we go.
All the media cards are like all over the place in both rounds.
It's going to be interesting to see what the judges do here.
Yeah.
Let's see what happens these last 30 seconds.
and then we can figure it out.
It's definitely Cheetos.
Oh, good left hand from Cheeto
after a little sneaky leg kick.
Bejur's having a tough time getting inside.
That jab is just really done very well from Marlon.
Oh, good left hand from Vera.
Oh, another nice left hand.
Final 10, I feel we're just going to start slanging them.
Herb Dean just gave a warning maybe to Cheeto.
Oh, yeah, he was like finishing.
Oh, good right hand from Vera.
Oh, man, Bailey.
He dodged it.
Now he's got the hands behind the back.
The spin kick shaved Vera's beard.
Woo!
I, uh...
I would be like, stop slapping me in the face, man.
He does keep slapping him.
Like, yeah, I know.
Yeah, why does he keep slapping him, dude?
There's like four slaps.
What was that, man?
Sweet sweat, and we got Sugar Sean O'Malley's logo all over everything, man.
That's crazy.
29, 28, Vera.
Yep.
I'm gonna go Cheeto.
29.
We might be going to Splitty City, though.
I don't know.
Yeah, we might be.
29 28
Cheeto Vera
I mean we had a judge
literally score a first round
of a fight that ended in the first round
He was like, eh
If you go to the UFC scorecards
There's one judge who actually scored
the Creeney Silva first round
And that is so crazy
The fight didn't get out of the first round
Crazy
That's not good
Here we go
I don't see Buffman in the cage
just yet
Oh, there he is. That jacket, I can't even describe it to you.
It's like it doesn't not look like there's like a green light shining on it.
It there obviously is not.
It looks like something like from Tron.
It's an optical illusion. It's, it's blowing my mind a little bit.
If you've ever been to the TD Garden, they have a cool section up in the premium seats called the legend section.
Oh, here we go, here we go. Here's the decision.
3027. It's got to be Cheetah. It's got to be Cheetah.
3027?
Wow.
It was the night before the gathering and all through the house.
The host rapid cozy cashmere throw from Home Sense for their spouse.
Kids toys for $6.99 under the tree.
And crystal glasses for just $14.99 for their brother Lee.
A baking dish made in Portugal for Tom and Sue.
And a nice $5.99 candle.
Perfectly priced just for you.
Happy holidays to all.
And to all a good price.
Home Sense.
Endless present.
perfectly priced.
Let's go.
Hit the gong, baby.
Borrow and very decision.
Bohn.
Clean sweep. Clean sweep.
Parley cashes.
Great bet. Great bet. Great bet.
Let's go.
We all hit. We all hit. We all hit.
We all hit except for the chat bet, but I have good news.
You didn't get the...
Yeah, I didn't get it in time. I'm not going to lie.
I trusted the chat. I was... I tried to place it, and it fired back.
It said, you too late, man. What were you doing?
So we're going to have to do it again.
Yeah, let's do it for the DeMont Blackshear, Mario Batista fight then.
All right.
Mackenzie turn and a new gentleman collar.
Hansi, the man's handsy.
There he is.
Calvin Cater, baby.
New England Catel.
Wow, look a Poetan.
Now, is he wearing that or is that a custom monster shirt?
Custom.
Ballol and Poitan hanging out.
I wasn't expecting that one.
Well, Muhammad is like...
They just, people just don't like him for some reason.
It's so bizarre.
Poitin seems to.
Alex Breyer seems like it.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, if you're going to sit, if that's the reaction you get from fans,
you go to a favor of you and you sit next to Alex Pereira.
That's just going to put you in better state.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
I don't think anyone's going to talk any shit to you if you're sitting next to him.
There'll be no greasingness there at all.
All right.
So one fight down, it was a good little scrap.
Maron Vera has done his part.
Yeah.
If Sean O'Malley wins, I feel like Cheetos is going to get him.
of title fight. Could you imagine?
Could you imagine?
Pretty wild. That's the world
we live in.
So good win for Cheeto.
Are you surprised with the 30-27s?
I am a little bit, yeah.
I am a little bit, yeah. I am a little bit, yeah. I thought
Munoz won that round
two fairly, fairly clearly.
Yeah. All right.
We're going to play another game in a moment. I just
going to get ready for
the next fight here.
Frank, have you ever been to Boston?
No, I haven't.
I have been to Boston.
I enjoyed it.
No, he was asking me here.
Well, I mean, I'm going to ask G-C that question as well.
I've been a few times.
It's a nice spot, man.
It is a nice spot.
And if you've been to Boston,
you've walked around Boston and talked to people from Boston,
you may have heard words that you didn't understand
and had no idea what's actually...
Oh, here we go.
Here we go.
I like this.
I like this.
What are we playing?
So we're going to play a fun little game.
to be perfectly fair and open with the world here,
I completely stole this game from John Anick yesterday,
so I'm just going to play it here.
Good.
So based on that, I'm going to ask Frank and G.C.
Certain Boston terminology,
you're going to knock out some words or a phrase,
and you have to tell me what you think it actually is.
Cake.
All right.
So let's start with this one.
Frank, what is a Bubla?
A water fountain
Like a water bubble
A bubola? A bubla
Wow
Or a bubler
I thought you'd been to Boston
Like a soda machine
Frank it is correct
It's a water fountain
Okay
I love the video game
GC what's a carriage
What do Boston people call a carriage
Shit
A taxi
Frank
I think that's
see, like a shopping cart.
Is he cheating?
He's got to be cheating.
Yeah, no, dude. I forget.
He's back there with Joe, who's from Boston.
Oh, but yeah, that's right.
Oh, but you guys have both been to Boston, so.
All right.
He's from Boston.
I mean, yeah, it's, it's exactly.
Yeah, all right, keep on.
G.C., what's a clicker?
Remote control, I do know.
All right.
Even, yeah, I'm sure Joe gave that one right away.
Wow.
Frank and only Frank
What are dungarees?
Those are jeans.
I used to wear those
Lee dungarees.
Yeah, I'm gonna go jeans.
Literally Lee dungarees.
Yeah, it is dungarees.
What's a frap, G.C.
A frap?
A frap.
It seems too obvious to say like a Starbucks drink.
That just can't be right.
A fracky.
A frap.
Yeah, I don't know
Ice cream milkshake
Yes, it is
So you were close
But so far away
If you got a
If you got a milkshake
Can I start Googling things
And then we'll be on a level playing
Hey Joe, you want to come in here
And sit next to GC
Joe's not even in the room
You're getting this all by yourself
Yeah
No, that's the biggest
There's no point in playing this game
We know he's not
Wow
A little sore loser here
No we can
Every time you turn on your microphone
We can hear Joe
Ice cream
Ice cream
Ice cream milk
It's an ice cream milkshake.
Frank?
Dungarees.
It's jeans, jeans.
Joe's going to get this one in five seconds.
But Frank, what are Jimmies?
Oh, man.
It has something to do with ice cream, right?
Ice cream.
Like the little sprinkles that you put on them?
Yes.
Good job, Joe.
What are you talking about?
The sprinkles.
Circle gets the square, yes.
What kind of sprinkles, though, Frank?
They are black.
They're chocolate.
Yeah, I actually did know that chocolate.
Yeah, chocolate sprinkles are called jimmies.
Rainbow sprinkles, chocolate.
chocolate jimmies. That's how you decipher it. What's a packy, G-S? I actually know this,
because they used this when I lived in Connecticut, a short-for-package store, alcohol, liquor
store. Nailed it. Absolutely nailed it. Frank, what's a Ripper? I don't know. Cizzards?
No. Cigarette? Oh, you mean like having a Rippa? Like having a good time?
Yeah, like throwing a party? Yeah, it's like.
Man, you guys got like a whole
Dictionary over there.
Dude, there's a rip-off.
Like, what's a ripo?
Yeah.
What's a statey, G.C.
A police officer.
A state police officer.
Absolutely correct.
What's the T?
Frank.
You mean, like, the gossip?
What's the T in Boston?
The scandal?
It's the T.
The T. The T.?
Yeah, the T is...
The MBT.
A train.
That's what we call the train.
Just take the T into the Gatn, dude.
Wow, real original.
The T into the Gat.
Actually is pretty original.
This is pretty impressive.
I mean, we got the L in Chicago.
Frank, what's a triple deca?
That is the bus.
It's got three layers.
Totally crazy.
Stans out like a sore thumb.
Did you see?
I know that's wrong.
That is incredibly wrong.
A triple deca.
It is an item that was removed
from the Taco Bell menu.
Oh, that's wrong, but kind of right.
But not in this, not in this particular game.
A triple cheeseburger.
It's like a three, it's like a multi-unit house.
Oh, God.
I didn't know we went to real estate.
I mean, if you go to Boston or Somerville, like any surrounding cities, that's like what the whole city is.
It's just a whole bunch of like rectangular shaped houses and they're called their triple deckage because you'll see.
In Texas, we call those double whites.
Yeah.
You'll see a front porch.
you'll see like a little balcony for the second floor and then you'll see the same thing on the third.
A little triple deca.
Last one, Frank.
What is a cellar?
That's the cellar.
And what does that mean?
Like the underground unit, like a basement.
Yes.
Yep.
And the cella.
The parlor is like the living room.
Okay.
Even though parlor is like a whole thing, but a pala.
There's just so much.
That's a ridiculous amount of words that are specifically used in Boston.
Like, I can be like, what's the Prue?
The Prue?
Yeah.
I don't know any of these.
This is, like, the American version of Kockney?
Yeah, it's like the, it's the big Prudential Center building in Boston.
Like, you can't miss.
Oh, okay, all right, all right, all right, yeah.
What would you guys do if they change the name?
I just drive my sunglasses.
If I, like, Joe would know this.
If you go to Dunkin' Donuts said, I want a medium regular.
Yeah, that's just a black coffee with cream of sugar.
Yeah.
So if it's like, if it's a medium coffee, it's two creams, two sugars, large as three.
cream, sweet sugar. Just go and say large regular.
Covering something they used to work at Duncan?
I mean, that's just based
off of how they make it. All right.
You used to work at Duncan? Yeah.
Jesus. It's a good time. How long?
Like three months.
I worked at one. One in the
walking cooler ones? I sure did. That was one of my first
jobs. It was 14. I worked at Duncan.
14 years old? Is that legal?
Yeah.
As long as you get your parents' permission. It's not like I'm
I'm, you know, it's... I started working when I was 12.
It's like I'm selling booze. Wow, good for you guys.
I'm not having a childhood.
That's great.
Some of us were less fortunate than others.
And I moved on to friendlies
when I was 16.
Wow.
Yeah.
Wow.
I mowed lawns and stuff.
Yeah.
We had paper routes
and things of that nature.
Here comes DeMond Blackshare.
Get ready to fight Mario Batista.
Frank flexing child labor on me.
Unbelievable.
I mean,
gotta make ends meet.
Yeah.
DeMond Blackshare fired up.
his second Octagon appearance in seven days looking to make some history here.
Luby Godinez tried to make history was unsuccessful.
This man was on the prelims, the early prelims of a...
You have to make a 78.
Apex card seven days ago.
Now he's on the main card of a pay-per-view card.
That's wild.
Let's go to the tail of the tape here for our second of three Bannamweight main card fights.
Here we go.
The surging Mario Batista quietly amassing quite the resume here.
30 years of age.
Reach advantage, absolutely the same.
Oh, no.
Do we get the chat bet?
No, you did it.
No, we never got it.
Oh, yeah, we never get a chat.
That's it.
Is it too late?
You don't these wait until the fight starts.
Do we have it through?
What was the chat bet?
Sounds like we never got it.
Oh, did you want us to remind you about the chatbets?
No, no, no, no, we reminded you guys.
We said, let's do the chat bet for this one.
Do we have a consensus?
No, no, no, I guess our reminder fell on silent ears.
All right, well, let's have to do it.
The chat didn't want to participate.
All right, well, ask the chat to participate in the next fight.
All right.
Ian Machado, Gary, and Neil Magny.
And let's already, like, get that ready to go.
And then we'll put it in.
One of these chat bets we'll get in.
Brian Miner in the house.
How do you feel about Brian?
Well, Brian Miner.
Yeah?
has set a standard
and you're going to see
what that standard is this final.
Oh, I was hoping for a Brian Miner fact.
Yeah.
What do you know about Brian Miner?
All right, my hot take here,
Mario Batista by K.O.
Damn.
All right.
Is that your bet?
No, no, no, no.
I got Batista by decision.
Too short notice.
Let's see.
A lot of Bannonweight fights
on this main card.
Yep.
The Bandemway Grand Prix.
I think they're going to bring out Cheeto
to fight the winner of this one.
Lots of leg kicks here.
Lots of leg kicks to start this one out.
Lots of circles here.
What a moment would be if DeMond Blackshare pulls this off, though.
Oh my gosh, can you imagine?
Two UFC wins.
Do you get a new contract for this?
Oh, oh, man, big shot by Mario.
That's a really good question.
I would hope so.
I would hope he's getting paid well for this.
Yeah, I'm sure he got a little bit of a boost stepping in on short notice.
Oh, nice box.
Body kick, man.
Oh, Blackshire.
Oh, Blackshare going, whoa, we're getting spinning for the sakedown.
How many full circles did we do there?
That was like 15.
Where's the Benny Hill?
Oh, some nice knees to the body, man.
That was nice.
They were just connected together.
The Benny Hill fan.
Yeah.
They're battling against the fence here.
Likes, you're fighting to this one, man.
Getting grimy.
Knees to the legs, really wants his takedown.
Batista trying to get out of here.
Blackshed doing a good job.
Yeah.
Yeah, these knees to the legs are nice.
Trying to wear out Mario.
Ooh, there it is.
Get some take down.
Wow, that's big.
Oh.
That's big, man.
That's wild.
Batista got his feet underneath, like, the stomach of DeMond Blackshare and, like,
hoisted him up in the air and got into full guard.
Let's see what Blackshare could do with this, short little elbow.
Oh, oh.
Oh.
Mario trying to know.
Mario trying to get like an arm bar or something going on there.
Demand's side control.
Oh.
Does you get you up to guilley?
Don't jump to gully.
No, no, no, no.
I don't do it.
He's going to.
Oh, this doesn't look good.
Wow, Mario Batista back to his feet off this?
This is insane.
Mario Batista basically...
Wow, he got up off of that, dude.
Blackscher had his foot all the way up in the air.
That was...
Elastic.
Mario basically did a one-armed handstand push-up to get back to his feet.
Incredible.
The athleticism and flexibility that Mario Batista just showed there was...
Amazing.
Sheesh.
Oh, nice elbow.
Meyer looks like he's getting, he's like, all right.
Now I got you.
Just imagine how much gas that's, okay.
What is that, Frank?
Just imagine how much fuel he just expended getting out of that, though.
We're getting a hockey player.
I like that.
You sound like a veteran UFC commentator.
Yeah.
Franks are very good at this.
Oh, nice.
Not as good as Brian Minor.
Brian looks serious in there, man.
He looks serious in there, man.
that. Oh, yeah. Oh, good exchange right there. Blackshare landed a nice shot. Oh, man, the body kicks are
working well for Blackshire. Another takedown. Get his back? Get his back? No, Bartisks the back up to his
feet. Blackshare just all over him. All over him. Oh, takes him right back down. Oh, can you get the
hooks on? Now, it's just kind of chilling. Oh, it's one hook in. Oh, loses it. Mario. Mario.
Mario, nice Mario.
Blackshare just hangs onto that leg.
Yeah, Blackshear is just relentless.
We're spinning again.
I thought we were going to get some more laps.
He's got both hands locked.
What can he do here?
Mario doing everything he can to not get taken down.
Blackshare relentless on this.
Goes from a single to double.
Wow, get some back down, man.
Lettisa's jump to Gilly.
Oh, jump Gilly.
Does he happen?
I don't think so.
Oh, man, it looks like he thinks it's tight.
Looks like he thinks it's tight.
26 seconds.
No, Blackshear looks like he's good and it's popped out.
It's popped out.
It's popped out, Blackshear, man.
Oh, nice elbow.
This pace is freaking crazy.
Oh, another nice knee to the body from Blackshare.
Oh, the elbow.
Wow.
Blackshare.
Good round.
Oh, man, that almost landed.
Jumping switch kick in just a
that almost landed.
Wow.
Good round.
We'll go Blackshear there.
Got goosebumps on that one.
Goose bumps.
Brian Miner?
Yeah.
Did you see that refin?
You got it in there right at the horn.
It's perfect.
10-9 Blackshear for me.
I assume G.C.'s...
I will go 10-9
DeMond Blackshare.
Demand Demonstre Blackshare.
There it is.
Demonstre Blackshare.
sure.
Boston Big Bean.
Little Boston Big Bean.
I'll bring out the next snack
between the next one.
We've got to open some cards, too.
Big Pack tonight.
Big pack tonight.
Twelve packs in this box.
But here's the thing.
There's select.
We haven't opened the selects yet.
Two autographs.
And one memorabilia card.
I got high hopes for this one.
Okay.
I got high hopes for this one.
I'm thinking something big's in here.
It smells big?
It smells big.
Okay.
Smells maybe a little...
A current champion autograph.
That's what I'm thinking.
A current champion autograph in here.
Wow.
The rarest of the rare from this select
is a thing called color wheel.
No, no color wheel in there,
but maybe next time.
Ooh, nice little leg cape from Blackshear off the rip.
Mario's starting to get a little more heated here.
He's starting a little bit with some more intended.
It's fired out.
You probably knows he lost that round
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I mean, I would hope his corner told him that.
Because even if he didn't, it was too close to be comfortable.
Of course, we watch Al Jambane Sterling in the back,
watching Chris Wyatman fight.
I'm sure Sean O'Malley is watching this fight right now.
This teammate Mario.
Oh, man, nice elbow from Mario.
Oh, Batista going for a takedown.
Like it.
Blackshare fighting.
I don't think so.
Might get pile driven right here.
Yeah.
Yeah, honestly, it looks like he's sending up a pile driver, Blackshear.
The pedigree.
Batista moves up a little bit.
Just that grimy one.
Nice.
I love these.
Elbows from both guys.
Oh, man.
Oh, another one from Blatista.
Oh, another one from Batista.
This is some good stuff.
That's a little jab there from Blackshear.
Tisha is just trying to figure out this puzzle.
This is a completely different fight.
that he was preparing for.
Oh, yeah.
He was going to come in here and just throw with Cody Garberant
and probably knock him out too.
I think most people would agree with that.
Ooh, I like these knees of the body, man,
and the clunge for the mom.
I think we're going to get another take down here.
We're against the fence.
At least an attempt at it.
Oh, these elbows, man.
Actually, you're putting on a good performance so far.
He's like Velcro right now.
Just won't.
Yes, dude.
He really is relentless.
Separation.
Oh, nice head kick from Mario.
Oh, good light kick from Blackshare.
Another one.
Mario's got to step this up.
Oh, Body kick.
Body from Blackshare.
This is almost like...
Oh, Batista going over and take down again.
Live odds are even.
Nice one 15.
I would have thought the Blackshare would have been favored.
Maybe we were crazy, though.
But Blackshare was like a pretty sizable dog on this fight.
Yeah, I want to say he was like a plus 180.
Yeah.
Yeah, Batista having no sense.
success and going for the takedowns.
And it just gets back into this just grimy phone booth elbows situation.
Three for three on the takedown defense.
Blackshirt tried to shoot in.
Nice sprawl from Mario.
Both guys are kind of slowing down a little bit.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It feels like that pace was frantic in round one.
Oh, good right.
Nice overhand right from Batista.
Yeah, Blackshare is definitely slowing down here.
Mario, oh, I feel like the tide is shifting here.
It feels like that, yeah.
Feels like Batista's starting to land more.
Yep.
Oh, Blackshear, big takedown, man.
Take down from DeMont Blackshare, but great job by Mario.
Batista right back up.
Right in front of Johnny Damon.
Shout out, JD, baby.
Ooh.
Good elbow from Mario.
Oh, man.
Short elbow is from both guys, man.
But Mario is definitely the one pushing the pace and the pressure.
Blackshare outlanding him pretty strong.
Wow, that's surprising to see.
It's a tough round to score.
Yeah, I agree. I agree.
Tough fight to score.
I mean, I'm pretty sure tomorrow one round one.
I feel pretty good about that.
Although people were making...
People were making me doubt the chill.
Limonial zone, yeah.
We got a couple 30-27s there.
Which we were wrong about round two, I mean.
Tough, tough game to score.
Tough game to score.
I was just going to be like 19-19 to matter what.
What do we think?
This one decision, and then we get...
three straight finishes to finish out the night?
I like that plan. I like that plan.
That's kind of how I'm feeling.
We might get a finish here, I don't know.
We had to run three, though.
Ooh, man.
These elbows, man.
Despite the numbers, I'm going to say that Mario
got that one back.
I'm just going to play it safe and just right.
Yeah, I'm only going to use
just like a piece of this board. I could use the whole thing,
but putting the 19s on the right-hand side.
Good on you.
Thank you.
Martine.
Mario round 2, 1919.
What's up with the M?
Oh, the M?
Yeah.
Mario, it's like a Mario M.
Yeah.
Okay.
Like Super Mario.
Yeah.
I get it.
You like that combo there, though?
Mario and 19?
Yes.
That is cool.
14?
It could have been like,
it's me, Mario,
1919.
Yes.
Have we asked for the chat bet for the next fight?
try to do that in between fights
we should like at least put it out there
all right well here comes
I just don't want to forget it
look it's the chat bet
chat bet's live
now this is direct this is
we let frank do the directing
that's what he is
I mean I've already dropped the ball so
director Frank
Frank's the man that's it
that's it were you waiting for me to say
another name yes
you
also nobody in the control room
calls you guys ask it for the chat bet
Yeah, we definitely asked for it.
Maybe the mic's cut off.
I don't know.
The men in the arena, you know?
The men in the arena.
That's the man in the arena.
Classic.
Round three, here we go.
Let's go.
1919.
Let's check the live odds.
Things are about to pick up a little bit here.
Live odds.
Round three.
Here we go.
Minus 130, Mario Batista.
Okay.
Close fight.
Close fight.
your thoughts about this one being on the main card
don't love it
get why they did the Wybin fight as a future prelim though
uh
like I think
the guys seeing in the spot would not have been a bad place to be
there's just not a ton of stakes
attached to this one for me
I mean the Blackshare story is insane
that he fought seven days ago
obviously in a hyper competitive fight right now
but like yeah
obviously it was a different story
when it was Cody Garbranded
Mario Batista, so.
Like, yeah, Cody being on the main car, I get it.
Of course, yeah.
But, I mean, it's not, look, it's not, I think probably Sean had some things to say about it.
It's like, come on, man, it's my first main event, like, put my team in on the car with me.
Yeah.
For sure.
All right, we're battling against the fence.
I've tried to give you.
You were responding to Joe Rogan saying that Mario Batista is the fresher fighter here.
The audience obviously did not hear that.
But yeah, it does feel like Mario is fresher, but
I feel like this is anybody's fight, man.
The short elbows from Mario, dude.
He's putting those in.
Blackshear, too, man.
They're both using them.
He's trying.
Oh, there you go.
A nice little combo from the line.
But that was also some good defense.
You're right, Frank.
This is picking up a little bit here.
Batista was putting on a lot of pressure.
He's slowing down a tinge.
Blackshear is throwing a...
Oh, Batista goes for a takedown.
Oh!
He gets it.
Gets the takedown.
He gets it.
That's big.
First take down from Mario?
Take down.
We have a hit.
We have one hook in.
Oh, going to get the second.
One hook in.
Yeah, man.
Let's even get the second hook here.
225 to work here for Batista.
We're close to sneaking some toes in that cage there.
We're quite close.
No, no, no, he's good.
He's good.
Yeah, mine's on it.
I'm with you.
They're just battle none.
Yeah, not a ton going on down there.
I think they're resting.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Resting up for the big fourth round.
Yes.
Oh.
Crowd starting to move a little bit.
Blackshear rolling over.
Batshaelan in some nice shots.
Blackshear's got to be gassed down there.
Yeah.
This is really good work for Mario right now.
Still keeping a hook in.
Oh.
I thought Blackshear's going to definitely grab the fence.
He just, he did not.
He did everything correctly.
Oh, Blackshare fighting to get back up.
Oh, man.
He drags him right back down.
Batista's hanging on him.
Oh, does he have both in?
Second hook.
Still just the one hook.
Yeah, I think he lost the other one.
But he's got the legs tied together there, so at least he's able to hold him in that position.
75 seconds to go.
Boston Crowd has not loved this one.
Yeah, it's not a bad fight.
Yeah, it's not a bad fight.
It's not the fight.
I mean, it's no triple-decker.
Yeah, it is no Brad Catona.
You are quite right with that one, Frank.
It is no triple-decker.
It's definitely not a...
What did you say it was?
The term for party.
A rippa. It's definitely a rippa.
It's definitely a rippa.
Oh, Batista hanging on.
Oh, sliding down on like a fire pole.
And they're back up.
There we go.
Well, there we go.
40 seconds.
35.
back up on the feet.
Blacks shoot throwing
some kicks in.
Oh, Likers!
Batista now gets...
They've kind of stalled.
They've kind of stalled.
Is that a drop drop?
I can't tell.
I need to see a replay.
Judges can't see a replay.
You got to score.
Wow, big takedown.
A little barrel twirl,
whatever that was from Batista.
Nice little 45 seconds to end that.
What did I say?
Barrel twirl.
Yeah, barrel twirl.
That's what we call it down south, a barrel barrel.
When they're in Atlanta,
when they're in Atlanta, Atlanta phrase.
Exactly, exactly.
There you go.
Oh, man.
I kind of feel like Mario won that fight,
but I don't know if there's a drop-drop.
Both guys think they won it.
They're both yelling, that's for sure.
I am going to go 29-28 Mario,
but I'm not wildly confident in that.
I'll do the same.
I'll write it down, but yeah.
Could you write it down?
Just so we have it for our records, thanks.
Oh, yes.
Just for the records?
Frank, sorry, Frank.
I'm ruining your mojo.
I don't even traveling all day, but we have standards?
Yes, you're absolutely correct.
There you go.
29-28 Batista.
But could be wrong?
Okay, being wrong?
Big way to end it for Blackshire, though.
But, man, he kind of got controlled for that whole third round.
Yeah.
Batista did some decent work from Down.
Can we see the replay at the very beginning when they were like, they were doing the...
Oh, yeah.
But could we slow it down like 80% and add the Benny Hill music?
Yes.
Actually, no, no, no, no.
Loop it, speed it up 200% and then add the Benny Hill music.
I love it.
Yeah, I mean, it's an all-time track.
All-time track.
All right, here we go.
Domain Blackshare is convinced that he won.
Here we go.
Unanimous.
2928?
3027 feels like it has to be Bautista.
Mario.
Yeah, it has to be Bautista.
Oh, the buff edge.
See the little juke?
Damn, damn.
2 3027s?
I think it was 29, 28, 2928, 38, 38, 3027.
Oh, wow.
Yeah, first one for Bautista does not feel...
Look at that.
Longest active win-street in the UFC Bandonway Division,
Aljima and Surly, Maraudibili, Mario Batista.
Are we going to have a, imagine Sean wins tonight.
Are we going to have an Al-Jo Marab situation with Sean and Mario?
Maybe.
Nank.
Who was Rob Ninkovich by?
Paul Craig.
Wow, Paul Craig.
Joe Lozahn.
That would be pretty sweet.
Rob Fawn, our guy, let's go.
The only...
The only fighter to make an appearance on this lovely watch party.
Yes.
Rob Fon.
Is he the only one?
We never had another fighter on?
No.
That's wild.
Just Robbie Font, baby.
I did tell Rob yesterday in Boston and I was like, we were going to ask you to come on the party,
but I figured you were just going to be at the fight.
Yeah, I wouldn't be able to come anyway.
Oh, that's what he said he wasn't like, I'm so sorry I can't make it.
I would have loved to do it.
I would have canceled my plans to go to the card had you asked me earlier.
Yes.
If this thing wasn't in Boston, I would have definitely asked them.
You feeling a little tired, a little sleepy?
Perhaps.
I've got just a thing.
What the hell are those?
What are those?
Some Dunkin, ice coffee, jelly beans.
Wow.
I have never seen those in my life.
We've got toasted coconut, buttered pecan, French vanilla, caramel latte, and hazelnut.
Frank, I got a bag for the control room.
You want it?
All right, let's do it.
They're getting right into the next fight.
Pretty excited for this.
Not just the jelly beans, but also this next fight.
Here we go.
Hey, yeah.
Oh, he made the catch again.
Made the catch, too.
Looking like a prime, looking like a prime,
who's your favorite Patriots wide receiver all the time?
Dion Branch.
Troy Brown.
Nice.
I'll go with Troy Brown.
The guy who played both ways.
Play defense and offense for the Patriots.
Frank's looking like a prime Rob Gronkowski.
Yes.
All right.
The chat has spoken.
Yes, yes, yes.
Hazelnut.
They have chosen Ian Gary.
Okay.
By knockout.
That's, I mean, that's probably the smart bet.
I also have a bet on Ian Gary by knockout as well.
Plus 100.
Let's see what?
We're going to get it at. All right. The Dunkin Jelly Beans are pretty good.
I'm going to give it a whirl. If you like coffee.
They taste like coffee smells. If that makes sense.
That's a good way to put it.
All right, what's going on? The InGerry Fight isn't on the app right now.
Am I enjoying Draf King's sportsbook? It prompts me as I can't find the Engary Fight.
Always.
Yes, I love it.
Here's the MMA hour.
I love it.
Yes, I have Ian Gary by Keo, and he's also a parley piece.
Oh, here it is.
Along with Nguer by Kio, plus 100.
All right, let's go.
I love that.
It's a good...
Bang, let's go chat.
Chat bet.
Let's go chat.
Same with me.
Gary is a parlay piece, Natty Silva, and John...
Oh, yes, Machado Gary walks first.
He's coming out to Leila.
Blue Corner.
All right, here we go.
Trying another one.
I think this is the ice coffee.
Gilbert Burns on the corner.
Quite good.
Quite good.
Frank, do we have a review from the control room on jelly vans?
I like them.
No, I guess so.
I'm trying to feel it.
Yeah.
I guess they're so good it's left the control room speechless.
That's Tosha Coconut.
Don't love that one.
Phil Roe and Gilbert Burns on the corner of Ian Machado, Gary.
Coming out to Layla, which is his wife's name.
Do you think she shows that or he shows it?
that's a great question
I'm going to say
she chose it
and he said okay
seems pretty breezy
I'm going to go with that too
I'm going to go she chose it and he was like
alright
was there any pushback
no
the survey on the
jelly beans is
not so great
wow
haters in the bag not even I haven't even tried one yet
not even Alex
Alex spit it out
Alex spit it out
Through his computer mouse on the ground
Through his computer mouse on the ground
And is now drinking water
It's pretty bad
I mean I've never met a man who depends more on coffee in my life
Than corporate Alex
Coffee and jelly beans are
Not really the same
It's weird
Like they are good
I'm enjoying them
They're pretty good
They're a little weird though
The toast of coconut
is not good.
Ooh.
That's just me.
I just got one that was terrible.
Is that the licorish one?
Wow.
I heard some sort of.
Did you hear that?
Is that Alex?
He is, we're gonna,
he might have to go to slate.
Which,
what is,
he's pretty angry about this?
What is better?
Is it the Dunkin' jelly beans
or the Boston baked beans?
One better has placed $5,000.
On Ian Gary to win by submission,
plus 650.
Another customer put $1,000.
$10,000 on Ian Gary Money Line, Natalia, Silva Money Line pays out $17K.
Wow.
And then Ian Gary up next, good one.
Those are the tweets.
Good one.
Good one.
Here comes Neil Magny.
I mean, this is the angriest we've seen Neil Magni ever.
The tides are turning, the more I'm eating of these jelly beans, the less I'm liking them.
Yeah, it's small doses.
If you go through this whole bag, you're a sicko.
If you go through, like, a pack, like, the Boston Big Beans, I think you're sick.
I could, yeah.
I could, it's, they're weird.
You want to know what's crazy is there's someone out there that, like, loves Boston baked beans.
That's like, I got to have my Boston baked beans.
Yeah.
My dad, you ever had lemon heads before?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
My dad used to be obsessed with lemon heads.
Hes.
Obsessed.
Would just eat them constantly.
I love to hear it.
Someone out there, and listen, I like lemon heads as well.
Someone out there, their lemon heads is Boston baked beans.
That's true.
I want to meet that person.
I was a big airheads guy.
Airheads, shout out.
Loved airheads.
Laffy-tappy.
I'm more of like a chocolate guy.
Oh, wow.
Yeah.
Which you're, like, if you go to the movies and you haven't, like, you can choose one piece of candy,
but you don't spend the seven.
Sour Patch Kids? What yours?
A bunch of cruncher.
Dude, that's a good one.
I don't really see it anywhere.
Kind of a hot take.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
If you're a child, but you get Sour Patch Kids.
Yes.
Just saying.
Good argument, man.
Sick argument, dude.
Kind of a hot thing.
As you reach for more of these jelly beans.
Yes, go for it.
Yeah, go get after it.
We got to get to the cards, man.
I'm a raisinettes, dude.
I'm a raisinets.
No, respect raisinets.
Respect raisinets.
No.
Goobers?
Yeah.
No, goobers are hard.
You're probably a
Whoppers guy, Frank?
Occasionally.
Yeah, I'm not a Wopers guy.
I hate them.
Are you a Mounds and Almond Joy guy?
I do like an occasional Mounds and Almond Joy.
Love them.
Almond Joy is like the 60-plus Boston parent candy.
I love Almond joys.
All of them love Almond joys.
I would get along with 60-plus-year-olds in Boston area
because I love almond joan.
Love coconut.
Playing cribbage and.
eating almond joys.
Oh,
the way we do it.
All right,
let's go to the tail of the tape
for this heated
welterweight matchup
between Neil Magni
and Ian Machado, Gary.
It is time.
Bruce Buffer, that jacket,
I still don't know.
Dollar Store wrapping paper.
Neil Magny,
obviously the much more experienced fighter,
Ian Gary 12 at O.
Neil Magny 11 years older.
Same height,
but at five and a half inch
reach advantage for Neil Magny,
the much more experienced fighter,
There you go.
Ian Machado Gary has been very confident.
He has said a lot of things.
And him and Bruce Buffer are nose-to-nose-nose.
Nose-to-Nose. They're ready to go.
We've got some Ian Machado-Garry fans in the crowd.
Look at Neil Magnet.
Yeah.
Neil looks stoic.
He, I mean...
It looks like he's ready to win.
That's what he's...
He wants to...
Yeah.
Yeah.
Now...
Now my parley pals pick is up. Ian Gary, I also have him in a separate parlay.
There you go. If Neil Magny wins.
Yep, there it is. There's the base.
I mean, Ian Gary, talk to talk, man.
At Ian Gary, minus 290. That's $2.98. That's incredible line.
That was a nice. I got some nice closing line value this week. We're going to see if it plays out for me.
Yes. We're going to see if it plays out for me. Here we go. Ian Machado Gary in Boston.
Frank, your favorite fighter.
You have admitted that on the public airways.
Favorite fighter?
Whoa!
Stop talking.
Drops Neil Magni.
Wow.
Keith, you just go let that happen?
What was illegal about that?
Nothing.
Sweeped them.
You see him at the pub last night working out?
It was great stuff.
So many people went to that.
Yeah, dude.
It looked hype.
It looked hype.
Boston going insane.
Yeah.
The Olai chants are coming.
They're singing.
Oh my gosh.
him again with a leg kick. What is going on out here?
There's two of them in 30 seconds.
Magny was just doing a crap walk.
Nice and patient from...
Oh, axe kick just misses.
Nice and patient for me and Gary, though, you know,
not freaking out despite dropping them twice.
Nice body kick, too.
Magny just looks...
Yeah, Magny looks...
Yeah, dude.
It's the mental warfare.
Oh, nice jab.
Magny moving forward.
I can't believe he's dropped them twice with leg kick.
She should probably like maybe keep doing that.
Seems like a good, good tactic.
He seems nice and patient in there, though.
Nice and patient.
Oh, good right hand is on the follow-up.
Oh, another leg kick.
The pop anytime he lands.
This Boston crowd is hyped on Ian Gary.
They're almost as hype as Frank is.
They're ready for it.
Oh, here we go.
The clench?
The clench.
This is what Magny wants.
And Gary's ready for it.
Nice.
Was he?
He's separation.
you got separation, you know?
Oh, head kick jasmus is for me,
and another leg kick.
Leg kick's working well for Machado Gary right now.
No, bleak kick.
Oh my gosh, that faint.
A Superman punch of faints.
Maggi bit on that like hell, man.
Another leg kick.
Like, it works again.
He's trying to switch stances and it's not really working out for him.
We got the O'A chance going again.
Crowd is hype on this, man.
Just waiting for that moment to come.
I feel like it's coming any second.
He's going to disrupt the moment.
Neil is?
Ian's going to disrupt the moment.
Okay.
He is a self-cloom disruptor.
That's true.
Oh, wow.
We got Ian Gary going for the clinch here.
Oh, Keith Peterson.
No fingers.
No fingers.
Great word from Keith there.
Great word from Keith.
That's great job.
Look at him.
Look at Keith all over.
Oh, we get him to slap.
Slat his hand away.
Great work from Keith Peterson.
Good stuff there.
This would be the best one you've seen on the watch party.
Good stuff there.
Frank, how do you feel about what we're seeing right now from Keith Peterson?
This is unbelievable.
Keith is right in there.
He might as well be in the clinch.
He might as well just hug up.
Let's make this a three-way.
Come on, Keith.
Get in there.
Uh-oh, oh, Neil, trying to get the takedown?
Those kidney shots.
It's interesting tactic here from Ian Machado.
Yeah, this is not really working out for him.
But Neil's got Ian's leg like,
wrapped it in his legs.
Yeah.
Oh, oh, that did not work out for Neil Magny.
He goes down to the ground and slips right off of Ian Gary.
Now he's butt scooting.
We're getting a butt scooting from Neil Magny.
Oh, my gosh, he was butt scooting across the octagon.
What a wild and wacky first round this has been.
The leg kick.
It's all leg kicks from Ian Machado Gary.
Being very patient.
Eight for eight on leg kicks.
Ian did say he was going to take seven or eight minutes
to get Neil out of there.
He said a lot of stuff.
He said a lot of stuff before the fights.
He's like eight minutes, I think, was the actual,
was the time he dropped at the press conference.
Eight minutes he's going to be done.
Dean Tom is high praise for you and Gary.
Oh, drops him again with another leg kick.
Three of them.
Butt scoot.
He's butt scooting.
He just butt scooted across the entire octagon.
He may have had an itch.
I don't think that's the case.
I never would have expected we were going to get a Neo Magni
full octagon length butt scoot.
We got a three-quarter...
Oh, whoa!
What's going on?
Oh, we're running across the octagon.
Ready Hill theme again!
Yes, this has been an absurd first round.
Oh, man, those leg kicks are frigging
peppering Magny right now.
Maggi just looks so uncomfortable.
Yeah.
Like all of this is just so uncomfortable.
He's just trying not to get knocked out right now.
Oh, Gilbert Burns.
is yelling, kick him again, kick him again.
I mean, just over and over again.
I feel like that's kind of a smart plan here.
Like one of every three hard
leg kicks is dropping him.
I cannot believe that. Yeah, wow.
I'm gonna go 10-9 Gary there.
I mean, when you drop a guy,
was it three or four times with the...
I think it was four.
10-9 IMG.
That took me way too long
to put together what you said.
The IMG part.
Yes, the IMG.
I was like, what is he talking about?
Show some respect, Connor.
Yes.
For those at home, Ian Machado, Gary.
Yes, that was nice.
That took me way too long to put together.
It's okay.
Shout out to old IMG Academy.
Good old IMG.
So many, it's just the whole round.
Nice and patient from Ian Gary, though.
Each time he dropped him.
There's three.
Down he goes.
Did we get at number four or was it just three?
No, Frank, I think it's just wrong that we didn't get Keith Peterson's
defensive fence-grabbing tactics on any replays in between rounds.
Yeah, it is a little weird.
Oh, you hit it like that.
All right, here we go.
See what Neil Magni can change something.
Looks like Gary is starting to get a little more aggressive.
I think he's looking for the finish here, much more than he was in first round.
Have he seen a leg kick yet?
There's one.
Magnie's the
Must I heard you
Must I heard you
all the way up in Boston.
Magny with the jab.
Oh, nice body kick.
I feel like the GSP
Matt Hughes knocko kick
is right there
where he
fakes the leg kick
but comes up top.
I think that's going to be open
for you.
We're going to see.
Love the oblique kick.
Someone's coach yelling
something.
Yep.
Now he's having a hard time
moving around.
Nice fans for me
and Gary, man.
Another leg kick.
Oh, Neil did him.
I don't like that.
Do it again.
Kick him again.
Kick him again.
And he's going for the head.
Sure, yeah.
He can't stand on his leg,
but let's go for the head kick.
Yep.
Very, very reminiscent of the Chris Wyden.
Oh, another one.
This is very reminiscent of the Chris Wideman with the hobbling.
This is tough.
Yeah, Neil is just getting chopped down.
Neil switching stances.
Oh, he was for a taketown.
Oh, Magny might get it.
This is this.
Magny might get it.
Keith making sure no one's going to
This is Neil Magny's world right here.
Oh, yeah, we got them pinned up against the cage.
Three minutes to work.
Let's lean all our weight on them.
This is a big moment in this fight for a game shot of Gary.
Let the man cook.
Oh, he almost fence grabbed.
He and Gary trying to break the hands.
All right, this is not bad.
I mean, he did.
Yeah, he got it.
And he's out, and he's out.
Nope.
We almost got another little spin moment there.
Phil Rowe, who just fought Neil Magne, is there shouting instructions.
Yeah, yeah, they're in Ian Gary's corner.
Gilbert yelling down there as well.
The fans are not going to like this.
Oh, Keith jumping in there to check for a fence grab.
Yep, this is Neil Magny's ball.
Booze are coming.
Oh, Ian.
Wow, he and Gary flips it on him.
Yeah, what is that thing?
He keeps grabbing the top of the cage.
Yeah, I don't think he could do that.
No nonsense.
Keith Peterson, though.
Tie clinch from Neil Magny against the fence,
He's trying to wrap the left.
Ooh, a little body shots there.
I like that.
A little shadow box shots that worked.
Gary trying to separate magnetages all over.
There we go.
Finally get the separation.
Minute 50 to go.
This is huge.
We are now in that eight minute range that,
oh, knocked the mouthpiece out.
And Neil's like, all right, let's go.
Wow, the head kick.
I mean, he just, that was delicate.
Just took it right out of his mouth.
It's like target practice.
Yeah.
that was nice back to the leg another hard leg yeah yeah yeah now man he does not like that go for it
he's playing is he playing oh he does not like that oh he's going after him yeah he can't get he's going
after him now go for the leg kick again yeah just keep going it keep peppering it oh goes for a flying knee
can't get it oh something you can't push off the cage all right this is a bit this he should he could
get him out of here right now go for it again go for it again I mean he's least he's
leaving it out there.
Good jab.
Yeah.
Keith's close, man.
Kick him in the leg again.
It's right there.
Head kick for me and Gary.
Go again, right there.
I think, like, one more hard, like,
oh, another one, nil landed.
Oh, man, he's hating that.
I wonder if his corner's going to stop it.
He can't, yeah, he can't even put his weight on that leg at all.
I mean, he can't create any offense.
Another one.
Oh, he needed that one.
He cannot create any offense right now.
Neil is tough.
Yeah.
There was.
There was.
15 seconds left.
Let's see.
Is there another leg kick coming?
A lot of patience for me and Gary, man.
Surprised.
I don't mind it.
He used to be a doctor.
He's got nothing about patience.
Zing.
Wow.
Oh, man.
He and Gary walking him down afterwards.
He flips them off.
All right.
Oh, that's no sportsman, Mike.
Yeah, come on.
We're better than that.
You don't support that, Frank?
No.
Not your cup of tea.
This is your favorite fighter, dude.
I mean, he's a triple decker.
Through thick and thin.
Did you enjoy Ian Michado, Gary's press conference?
Like kick over and over.
Oh, yeah, yeah, the press conference is amazing.
You loved it?
Not allowing you to speak at all.
I have watched it over and over again.
Yeah, I walked in today, and he just had it on over the loudspeakers in the control room.
Oh.
What did you like the most about it?
it. Are you guys going to score this or you just want to...
Oh, yeah, yeah, sorry, dude.
I mean, it seems pretty obvious.
Oh, okay.
But...
Hey, everyone at home, just use your imagination.
2018 IMG, easy 10-9.
Yeah, I'll go 2018 in Gary.
Machadooio, Gary.
Surprise they didn't censor that bird, you know?
I know. Well, it's on paper, no. You don't need to censor that.
No, I know. I'm just kidding.
Ah, Dana White's Contender Series.
Tuesday where at least five more contracts are going to get dished out no matter how these
fights go.
All right, four minutes to see if we can...
Only 14 previous finishes by leg kick in UFC history.
Wow, big head kick from Ian Gary.
I would like to cash this Ian Gary by knockout ticket.
That would be really nice.
He's a chat bet too.
Yes.
I'd like to give a gong hit, you know?
Yeah.
Oh, whoa.
Maddie tried to throw a kick, but he just cannot put enough weight on.
just kind of toppled over.
And we have a laugh track.
Is that a laugh track?
How did you find a laugh track?
That was great stuff.
Great stuff for me, Frank.
The production quality is off the charts.
Surprise.
Still,
Gilberbins is, like, yelling at him.
Like, come on, dude.
Like, do this.
The leg kick.
Like, has he thrown one yet?
Has he thrown one yet this round?
Nagy's, like, falling over
every time he has to make a big movement.
Oh, another hard leg kick.
Oh, he came up.
put weight on it.
Can Keith step in and see the deal from himself right now?
Go Ian. Go Ian.
Yes, there it is again.
Another leg kick.
Oh, there it is again.
Just keep going.
Yeah, let him stand up.
Oh, man.
The Crab walk is awesome.
More butt scooting.
What was the overrunner on butt scoot?
I was going to say.
That's something that should definitely be on the table for every Neil Magnet fight
move.
forward.
Neil Magni has landed 19 significant strikes.
Wow.
Through just about 12 minutes of action.
Is Ian Gary going to finish him?
That is the question now.
I mean, I'm stunned that it hasn't happened yet.
I respect the patience process, but just go right back to leg kicks.
That should be the only thing he should be throwing right now.
Accommodation from Gary.
Body kick lands.
Maggie just has nothing for him.
Another leg kick.
Oh, man, he's hobbling.
Yeah.
Two and a half minutes and change to get that finish.
I feel like the reaction from a lot of fans,
if Gary doesn't finish him,
I think they're going to be kind of tough on him.
I mean, it's a dominant win.
Oh, yeah, dominant.
But you know how fans can be.
Of course.
Of course.
Oh, good combination.
Nagy is tough, man.
Gary just walking him down,
put his hands down,
left hand to the body.
Even DC's saying the same thing.
I mean, come on.
It's like you gotta finish.
DC's saying he's got to finish.
Keeps going, man.
Yeah, just Magny is just banged up.
Oh, good.
Left hand, then the leg kick right after.
Mangy hasn't landed anything.
Imagine if Magnet just like uppercuts him down.
Oh, that would be...
Man, are we really about to lose the chat bed here?
I don't know.
But he might be.
Yeah, it's kind of slowed down quite a bit here.
Every leg kick that Gary lands is just uncomfortable to watch.
You see that side on it?
Yeah, he was definitely checking the clock.
Yeah, he's looking at it.
Oh!
Come on, Keith.
Come on, Keith.
Save this man from himself.
He's telling him stand up right now.
One more leg kick.
Gary.
Oh, wow.
No, boarding!
Another link it!
Gary trying to finish.
Oh, and he clenches up.
Wow.
And he takes him down.
He's going to punch.
Oh, we're going to catch this chat bet.
He's trying.
He's trying to finish.
No, man, he's a tough.
Wow.
I cannot believe he's going to make it to the cards.
Do it.
Wow.
Mount him and throw some punches.
Do something.
Something. Maggi's gonna make it to the cards after just a lopsided beating.
This is good.
No, no, no, stop. Don't beat it by sub.
It's two seconds. Yeah, not enough time.
That's it.
You think a splitie on this one?
Look at him. Wow. Wow. Wow. No love lost between the two after a nice little war.
After the finger flipping.
What a tough night for Neil Magny, man.
What do you think Keith Peterson just?
just said there, Frank.
Said, yo.
Stop grabbing the fence.
Why did you keep grabbing the fence?
This isn't Mario.
Just so many light kicks.
I'm stunned you didn't get him out of there.
I am too.
I mean, this guy,
that might be a 10-8.
I mean, yeah.
I'll say 10-8.
Yeah, 30-26, IMG.
He dropped him like three times.
30-26.
Neil Magie landed no punches.
I think I have a,
a 9 and 18 and a and a 26.
You did pretty good.
Yeah, please just write whatever you want.
Yeah, that's what I did.
Are we going to rip some packs?
We need to rip some packs right.
Meow.
Okay.
All right, well, at least I get a...
At least the big parlay of the night is still alive.
I would just need John Whaley to take care of business next.
Here's the good thing.
We've gotten four decisions while we've been on the air.
Yep, we do.
Which means the last two fights of the night will be violent.
Did I hear a 30-24?
All three 10-8s? Wow.
30-24.
Will there be an embrace?
No, no, no, no, no way, no way.
Magny was clapping for Maddie.
Did you see Gary when they got up?
He flicked him off.
But even when Buffman was reading the decision, Magny was like,
what's clapping?
So, no.
You know how much Ian's going to be annoyed?
that he couldn't finish him?
Yeah.
No, I think, no, no, he's going to sew.
Like, I dominated him for 15 minutes, because he did.
Let's see what he has to say.
Let's see what he has to say.
I told everybody when I show up.
Now he's putting Magny over, as he should.
31st fight.
Longest active on beaten streaks UFC welterweight division,
Leon Edwards, Belal Muhammad, Ian Gary.
Do we do, do we rebuild Jeff Neal?
That how we do this?
I don't see Colby Covington on there.
How dare you?
Rebook Jeff Neal?
Yeah, I'm down for that.
I'm down for that.
Rebook Jeff Neal.
Where's Jeff at?
Seventh?
Yeah, seven or eight.
Seven or eight?
I like that.
Another step up.
Yep.
And then, I mean, if he gets past Jeff Neal,
I mean, then you start getting in that title range territory.
Oh, that kick was so...
That was nasty.
You and Gary Belal Muhammad at some point?
Oh, boy.
Sign me up.
Who's gonna call it out?
Oh, he's gonna call it Wonderboy.
Ian Gary calls out Wonderboy in a main event.
I don't mind that.
That'd be a fun fight.
Now, so I've been saying for a while
that they should just book Wonder Boy Usman,
but I feel like with this Pereira situation
and how it's been all handled,
I kind of think they're gonna try to,
I might say feed Wonderboy to Ian Gary,
but I think they're going to...
I don't know if it'd be feed, man.
Wonderboy's a pretty talented striker.
Oh, no.
I'm not saying feed, but at least in the UFC's mind,
let's feed this guy who refused to fight on a pay-per-view.
Let's give him to this kid.
Yeah, okay.
And just watch him beat him up.
But I will tell you right now,
I am very high in Ian Machado, Gary.
Right the second, I would pick Wonderboy to win that fight.
Okay, all right.
I like that.
Here we go, the select.
All right.
Yancho Nan in the building.
Are we going to get her in the cage?
If Amanda Lemosch wins, Tatyana Suarez is fighting through the title.
All right, here we go.
The select.
We've got 12 packs to go through.
We should get a couple of interviews.
I mean, a couple of autographs.
And I mean, now it's time to turn the energy up to 10 in here, Mike.
Yeah, I mean, we need to rip some packs.
We need to rip some packs.
I'm hoping this changes the juju.
We get a couple finishes here.
I think we're about to get a couple finishes.
I mean, look at Wiley.
She is ready to go.
Look at Lamos.
Looking ready to go, man.
She's had a very quiet confidence about her this week.
She looks like she's ready to go.
Okay, here we go.
We're off and running.
Our man, Chris Gutierrez.
Oh, man, it's a little dark.
A little dark.
All right.
Ooh, Tony Ferguson throwing a stout little elbow there.
All right.
Jorge Mazvedol?
Ooh, right off rip.
It's looking like we got a colorful car.
at the end here.
A little Holly Home Select.
What are we working with here?
What are we working with here?
A Max Griffin crazy little.
Is that green?
Is that?
Buffers Jack.
Ooh.
Max Griffin out of 75.
Max Payne Griffin.
Okay.
Out of 75.
Max Griffin.
We like Max Griffin.
Yeah, we're cool with him.
Signing guy.
Okay?
We keep right on rolling.
I mean, we got to just rip through these things, man.
I mean, we got places to go.
people to see. A.K. Lee's going to be joining us. Oh, AK Lee coming on. Nice, nice, nice, nice. I promised
an autograph from a current champion. We start. Roman DeLideze. Oh, I'm seeing something, I'm seeing
something crazy at the back. Camaro Usman. Tila Santos. There we go. Yeah, you're a big
Tyler Santos fan, huh? Huge. Getting ready to fight. All right. Yeah, you're Rodriguez. This is something,
this is something crazy. I'm seeing all sorts of colors here, folks. Okay, what do we got? What do we got? What do we got?
All right, hand in the air.
It's a female.
It is Andrea Lee.
Ah, yes.
Got to love it.
Andrea Lee,
no numbers on this bat boy,
but it's like an Andrea Lee,
all sorts of colors.
A lot of different colors.
Color wheel?
No, not color wheel.
I'll tell you if it's a color wheel,
but all right, shout out to Max Griffin.
Shout out to Andrea Lee.
Andrew Lee, she fought very hard tonight.
She most certainly did.
KGB, shout out.
We move on to the next bag.
The man, double champ status,
Connor McGregor, shout out.
Gerald Mearshard, another valiant effort this evening.
Whoa, Nelly.
Whoa, ho, no, it looks like, all right.
Oh, Nelly, what do we got here, folks?
What do we got here?
We got a red, and it's thick, and that's looking like.
Like a T.J. Dillishaw game worn something here? I mean, I'm with all this. Calvin Cater as well.
T.J. Dillishaw game worn action. This is of 99. It looks like we got a piece of the pie.
This looks like this is straight off the pants or something. Do I see a venom logo? Is that a venom logo I'm looking at?
Wow. That's a nice card. That's a nice little rip right there. T.J. Dillishaw, former
Antony White Champion, don't know if you're familiar with them.
That's a nice little card right there.
That looks good.
That looks good.
I'm loving these packs.
We're only three in.
Let's keep the ripping going.
So just to be clear, that's a piece of a shorts?
Yeah, that is a piece of some sort of clothing that he wore at some point in his life.
Nice.
So T.J. Dillishaw has worn that at one point.
If we ever get him in studio or anything, we can ask him.
Do you remember wearing this, Tej?
All right, here we go.
Joe Selecky, shout out.
Rookie card, select.
A select Joe Selecky, I feel like that's worth double, you know?
It should be.
Leach.
I mean, how many leeches do I have, man?
Chinese flag, front and center on this one.
Marvin Vittori, shout out.
Alexe Grasso shout out.
This is a nice one.
This is a nice one.
This is that, like, disco-pack color.
Who do we got?
Who do we got?
We've got.
Drew Dover.
That's a handsome chat.
That's a handsome chat right there.
Your guy, Frank, right here on the right side.
When are we going to get referee cards?
Mike Beltran, the Mike Beltran
recently married, I believe.
Yes.
Shout out.
Shout out.
I mean, that Drew is shouting out.
We have a special guest.
Oh, wow.
Is this my best friend?
Is this my best friend?
Is this my best friend?
Yeah.
Can't confirm.
A.K. Lee in the house.
Can confirm. My best friend, my best ultimate fighter friend, both in the same place.
What's up, brother? What a night to spend.
What did you think of the tough fights?
G-C. I'm actually glad we didn't do a live viewing of that, because I think you and I would have just been like crying.
I was emotional. I was emotional. And I have to say, I got all four semi-final fights wrong.
Nailed both the finals. Didn't bet on them, so it doesn't, you know, really matter. But nailed both of them.
Holliba and Katona.
Well, don't you worry about it. I bet for both of us, my friend, I put a little, I put a couple
of shekels down on Kurt Hollabaugh for the upset, or I got Katona as part of a parlay.
So who finishes the parlay?
I think I'm pretty safe now. I think I just, because Ian Gehry was part of it.
Yeah.
I think I just need, I think I just need chalk, Zhang, and Sterling to retain.
I think I'm good.
So we're going to sweat out Wiley together here.
I love this because we are also on Wiley.
Yes.
We've had a couple baby gong hits, but a wily finish gets us banging this thing.
I mean, we will be getting up and rowdy.
All respect to a mandolamos, but.
A wily finish under three and a half rounds.
Oh, my gosh.
A widely submission under three and a half rounds, I'm doing laps around the office.
Let's just be clear about that.
I'm doing laps around the office.
Sorry to interrupt what you got going on here, AK, we're ripping some pads.
Please continue, continue.
Let's see, an RDA, that's nice.
Little Alex Perez, that's great.
That's a great pull.
Shucky olives?
Ooh, something fancy here.
We got a blue, a blueberry shimmer.
Oh, right behind the car.
Oh, it's in auto, folks.
We got us in auto.
I said we're getting a champ on.
John Wiley?
Gigacchicatsi.
Not a champion.
Not a champion, but good news, we still have one more.
I like that blue.
That blue is absolutely.
Absolutely beautiful.
A fellow Georgian Giga Chakata, he returns next week in Singapore.
That's out of 75, folks.
That's not bad.
That's not bad.
That's not bad.
It's 73 out of 75.
No, no, no.
It's out of 75, right?
Yeah, but that was a 73rd and when he signed.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, his arm was probably tired at this point.
This is just a scribble.
I don't even see it.
Exactly.
I don't even see a G or a C or anything.
But that's a beautiful card.
That's a beautiful card.
Yes.
And, yeah, then in Chuck E.
Let's open two more, and then we'll finish him off.
before, yeah, and then we'll have four more to go before the main event.
Yep.
And then I'm going to get just probably absolutely trucked over in UFC the video.
Oh, yeah, we're running it in the backyard in the UFC video game.
Let's see, let's see.
John Castaneda, sexy maxi, shout out.
A little Tim Elliott.
Is this one different?
Nope.
That's a BJ Penn, a little beger, a little...
Badi.
The baddie?
Sensations.
It's Patty the Batty.
All right, we got something going on.
I couldn't read that name.
Y'all probably could.
Red, a little raspberry shimmer.
Steepeniochich.
That's out of 175.
That's not bad.
Fighting in a couple months here in Madison Square Garden.
I'm loving how many pulls are getting here.
There's a lot of colors.
This is great.
Shout out to select.
This is a nice box so far.
All right, one more before we get into the strawweight world type.
I like this pack. I like this pack. I like this pack right now. Oh, do I like this pack? I like
this pack a lot. It feels good. Is this the current champion? How much do you like it? I love it. That's how much I like it.
Julian Arosa. Anybody see that purple back there? I don't know what that's all about. I don't know what that's all about, but purple's my favorite color. If that's a sign.
Julian Arosa, Holly Holmes, shout out. That's a Holly home. Ooh, a little Volk action. Oh, whoa. I don't even know what I'm looking at here, folks.
Whoa, baby.
I don't even know what I'm looking at.
All right, let's go here.
Mario Batista colorway all the way through.
I just ruined it.
What's going on here?
What's going on here?
What is this?
This is a thick and.
This is a thick one.
What is this?
This is, wait.
We're about to make some history.
It's a white piece of cardboard.
Wait, is it literally a white piece of cardboard?
There's no way.
TBD?
The elusive TBD.
Is this serious?
TBD slash TBA.
Try chewing on it.
This is like a thick white piece of cardboard.
Get the black light.
Get the black light.
I mean, technically that's phone core.
That's got to be worth something.
That's got to be a one-on-one.
You get to draw your own card.
Lemon juice.
I think you just sprinkle lemon juice.
It reveals the secret message, right?
It's so thick.
Like I was like, I thought this was going to be like some like incredible.
Could you imagine being on a summit of like a mountain in Brazil and you open your pack?
Oh my gosh. You're just a local Brazilian kid and you think you're about to find the rarest card ever and you go white piece of cardboard. Is this a real thing? What is this? Why did they do this to me? You see, please, please. You've been blessed. You've been blessed with a card that is. Oh, my God. What is this? It could be anything, AK. This could be anything. Great. We got to select. Panini. If you're watching and I know you are, what is this? I need answers. What is this?
This is, uh, I mean, I thought we were about to get another crazy, like, auto or something.
You got a crazy piece of nothing.
I have to case this, right?
I have to put this in a case.
It could be something.
Maybe it's like something where if the sun shines on it, it all is revealed, or you put it under water and it sponses it out into something else.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you got to soak it. You got to submerge it.
I'm like, I'm in shock right now.
This is like, uh, UHF.
Do you guys remember that movie, U.S.
Let's also be serious.
This is like, this is rock solid.
Like, wait, this is, you could, you could build a house with this.
If you had enough of it, I mean, this is like, is just a piece of drywall?
I feel like every time when you hit it, it, like something's just going to crack open.
I was going to say, I feel like every time I flip it, there's going to be something, but there's nothing.
Listen, I've been reading Harry Potter lately.
I feel like there's something I need to do to, like you guys said.
It's a puzzle card.
Yeah, it's a puzzle card.
It's a game.
All right.
Moving on from that.
Compose yourself.
I'm going to come out and say this.
It's a piece of trash.
Wow.
Frank.
Oh,
geez.
You could draw on it.
You could draw your own card.
Again.
I mean, that was...
Could draw on any of the cards.
I mean, what is that?
Like, can we be serious?
I'm Googling this right now.
How is that?
Blank.
He was so excited.
You say, oh, my God, because I'm Googling whether, you know, I mean...
These cards aren't cheap, man, and they're giving out...
Panini...
Shep trouble the man.
White cardboard.
What if the white cardboard is worth $500,000?
Then you'll be talking to an empty control room.
Oh, fair.
What is a Panini white box?
Oh, there's a whole page on this.
Wait a minute.
And that's a box.
It's not trash.
Yeah, that's...
No, no, this is nothing.
Oh, okay.
You gave you nothing.
Nope, sorry, folks.
Yeah, actually there's...
You have like reddits or subreddit?
I got a cardboard.
I got a white piece of cardboard.
You're talking to chat, GPT?
He's tweeting.
He's tweeting at Panini right now.
He is tweeting at...
No, no, no, I'm Googling it.
He's asking the question.
Anyone know why there are white cardboard cards in boxes these days?
Oh.
Serves as a decoy for pack searchers.
Oh.
Oh.
So there you go.
That's interesting.
How much are they worth?
People get away ripping packs open at Target and Walmart taking all the hits and leaving the rest out like scumbags without getting charged.
Wow.
So it's a security thing.
I get it.
Okay.
Wait, how does that prevent?
How does that prevent people from just randomly being delinquents?
I guess because you feel the card thing and like this was nice and thick.
You're trying to like trap people.
All right, Zhang Wei Lee has entered the octagon.
is here. And she looks
freaking pissed. They've got the
Draft King's props on the screen. TK.O.
plus 110, decision plus
350. Submission plus
318. I'm sitting on a
submission plus 600 ticket.
Boys, I'm telling you.
I don't think it's going to happen.
I don't think it's going to happen just because it happened last
fight. I don't think it happens, but
if it does, I'm going to act out.
Yeah, I got Zhang inside the distance
at minus 120. She's a parley piece
as well. Let's go to the tale of the
tape for the strawweight championship co-made event between Zhang Wei Lee and Amanda Lamoche.
Here we go, Zhang Wei Lee, 23 and 3.
Lamos, the one loss of her career to Jessica Andrage.
Lemos, two years older, height exactly the same.
Lamos to entreats advantage, both ladies, making weight.
Amanda Lemos coming in, one pound under.
Here we go.
It's time
I don't mean to be that guy
Be that guy
Be that guy
Who's responsible for these graphics
Oh that's me
She see she has another
She has two losses in her career
Oh what did I put
She lost to Leslie Smith
She put 13 and 1
13 and 1
She had 13 and 1
She has 13 2 and 1
Wow wow wow wow wow
Wow
Is that what I put
Oh I didn't see that
That was on our official tale of the tape
She has a loss to Leslie Smith
You tell you
I don't see that.
That's what I'm here for.
You know, I could be a bit of a stick in the mud, but it's what I'm here.
Oh, no, you know what I did?
I put, I put 16 in one.
That's, uh, that's Sean O'Malley's record.
Oh.
A little copy paste.
Uh, no copy paste.
I just, he would never.
I just changed the pictures out.
You want to know what threw me off?
This is a nice little factoid.
All right.
Here we go.
Um, Al Jermaine Sterling, 34 years old.
Champion.
Wiley Zhang, 34 years old, champion, both of which in their professional mixed martial arts careers, 23 and 3.
Wow, A.K.
No, no way.
Oh, my gosh.
You tell me about that one.
So, yeah, that's why I forgot to change the 16-1.
So that's actually a good call by you.
Well, now people know you didn't change the other one.
Yeah, I didn't change.
I didn't have to change Zhang at all.
I'm going to send you a calendar invite, Akey Lee, and Connor.
We'll have to do a little review after the show.
Yeah.
No, you can actually just take over the graphics, Frank.
It's no big deal, man.
They only take hours and hours every time we do one of these.
You got it next time.
Don't worry about it.
Please, we are.
We're all, he's, G.C.
I feel like you're still a little upset about the blank card reveal.
I'm not going to kick this out on anyone, but the blank card is bullshit.
Let's be serious.
Apparently, McKenzie Dern is fighting Jess Gondrage at UFC.
2.95. Wow. What?
When they showed McKenzie on the screen.
Just going to Jodges loves getting in that. Fourth fight this year?
Fifth fight this year? Yeah. I think it's five, yeah.
Five fights, wow. And she
could have started
with that beautiful performance against
Lauren Murphy at 283 and
losing force trade. It's a dirty sport, man.
Kevin McDonald's, the New Englanda,
gets the title fight assignment.
Last thing I'll say about the cards before we move on,
I'm thinking of switching the tops. Panini's great, but
Am I good at the tops?
All right.
Here we go.
Straw weight world title.
All right.
Time.
And apparently
Michelle Pereira is moving up to 185
to fight at least one of the top two contenders.
Did we just miss all this?
Did they just announce this on the broad?
Yeah, you were like,
The Cardiff.
Michelle Pereira versus Mark Andre Berry.
All right, here we go.
At UFC Vegas.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
Here we go.
I think this first round is going to tell us a lot.
that might seem obvious, but
how so? I feel strongly
about it. Because I
have no read
on Amanda Lemoche's, like,
level of confidence or demeanor heading into
this fight. She's pretty soft-spoken.
Like, she, you know, we talked to
Oh, look at that soft-spokenness.
A leg kick, knockdown.
Wow, is that like the fourth one we've seen of those today?
Me and Gary, like, 11 of them
against Neil Magny.
She's trapping her arm.
Boy. She's stack at her.
I feel like, John.
You do not want Zhang on top of you.
Now that we're, like, in the fight,
I'm all of a sudden very nervous for this one.
Oh, she's got to watch the art.
Cleared it.
Cleared it.
This is exactly.
This is.
Relentless on the ground, man.
She's freakishly strong.
Yeah.
Lembo's just not one of it.
Yeah.
She is freakishly strong.
No, she's, don't go for submission.
Side control for Zhang.
Incredible top position.
Come on, Zhang.
Exactly.
Oh, don't squeeze.
Don't start squeezing now, Wiley.
The John Inick laugh.
Hearts racing, boys.
This is what the great champions do.
She's got 335 to work.
They get the fight exactly where they want it to be
when they want it to be there.
And this is what Zhang does.
Zhang can stand in bank with anyone,
but I mean, if she's going to have a long run,
she's going to have to be able to do stuff like this,
take people down at well.
And, I mean, that wasn't a takedown.
That was off a trip.
but I think she knocked her down with a leg kick, right?
Yeah.
Well, yeah, she had her off balance.
Yeah, she was, I think,
El Moller was trying to fight back up.
Oh, come on.
Three minutes to work.
It's pretty smart right now, though.
I think a Lemosch is not trying to do too much from the bottom.
John, you know, it's done on big shots.
It's a five-round fight.
She doesn't want to gas herself out.
Big shots from John.
But she is getting punched in the face a lot.
Yep.
That is true.
Oh, body shots.
She mixed in some punches to the body.
That is.
She has such a mean streak.
She has a main streak.
Damn, man.
She's got one leg completely trapped right now.
I like these elbows.
Another elbow from Zhang Wei.
Half around to go.
Oh.
Oh.
Maybe chase.
Don't.
I thought she was going to chase the gully, but she's not better of it.
Heart's beating fast.
Oh, big shots.
Her feet is loading.
Big shots.
These are bombs.
Yeah, this is.
Oh.
Big shot.
Oh, my gosh.
Oh, my God.
She's standing up.
She's trying to get up.
Oh, trying to back down.
Oh, oh, Limos!
Limos might have this!
Oh, she might have it!
What is going on?
She's going for a ninja choke, I think.
She might have it.
There's no chance.
There's no chance.
There is a chance.
With Zhang and side control, this would be one of the craziest submissions of all time.
She's squeezing hard, man.
She's squeezing hard.
She's squeezing hard.
It's broken saying it's tight because if he is, then she's fine.
D.C. is saying that she's turning blue,
which means she's...
No, I think that was...
Frank.
She was turning.
She was throwing knees.
She's throwing knees.
She's throwing knees.
Big knees to the body.
Yeah.
Lemos is holding on for dear life.
Oh!
George at the back!
Go she's at the back!
Wow.
It's unloading.
Go for the soap.
Go for the so.
Go for the so.
I don't think so.
I don't think so.
Go for the cell.
Go for the cell.
Oh, yeah, she's going to do it.
Just keep unloading.
Keep unloading.
I'm cool with this.
I'm cool with this.
It's at the distance.
Oh.
Oh my.
Wow, that was crazy.
What a wild first round.
These are the great champions.
Holy smokes.
63 to 1 on total strikes.
That's pretty good.
Come on, John.
Even with that submission attempt, you could make, I feel like you can make a case for a 10-8 here.
Sure.
Oh, for sure.
She landed ball.
Like, this wasn't pitter, pat, or ground, and pound.
Those were haymakers.
Those were headings.
There's a toe locked up in there, Frankie.
Kevin McDonald's not one of Dana White's favorite referees, by the way.
Oh, well.
Zhang is just putting it on her.
More big left hands.
Yeah, this is a 10-8 for me.
A great, great submission attempt by Lamoch, very exciting.
That was crazy.
That was crazy.
Zhang handled it.
This is it for me as a 10-8.
But I see people may disagree, but just a few.
I don't, I mean, it's very possible.
Whoa, let me have us trying something again here.
What is it?
Not going to work.
Not going to work at all.
It must be something they scouted.
It must be something they scouted the way that Zhang does her entries.
It must have thought like, oh, she's vulnerable to that to like a ninja choke.
I might be misnaming it, by the way.
I believe that is a ninja choke, though.
Heart was beating that whole round, boys.
Heart was beaten.
Yeah, it looks tight.
I mean, shout out to Lamos for being a great trier.
If Joe Rogan said that's, I'm going to go 10-8 also.
You're going 10-8.
Yeah, I'm going 10-8, John.
I would not blame him.
We're 10-8s across the board.
A-E-K, you talk me into it, man.
I think we have to, yeah.
Hands are shaking a little bit.
I thought for a second we were going to get the sub.
Wow.
I thought for a second.
What is your bet?
What is your...
You have a motion by submission?
Zhang finishes a parlay.
Uh-huh.
Under three and a half and Zhang by submission.
Okay.
Okay.
We, for a moment when she had her flattened out in the back,
and it looked like, she had me the choke.
I thought we were about to hit all three.
I thought we were about to hit all three.
I think she is going to submit her in the second round.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
If she wins under three and a half, then, like, we're still making hay over here.
If she sucks, that's an unbelievable, like, I'm cool with her just finishing it.
I think she's going to get top position again.
I don't know.
I think she's going to do more ground and pound, but I think she's going to want to, because she's not going to want to punch herself out,
she is going to find an opening for submission.
I don't know.
I'm nervous.
I'm nervous.
Love most she's dangerous, man.
Yep.
Very.
She's a super live dog as soon as this Carter's book.
A very, like, again, not the matchup that we all thought.
We thought it would be Yan Shaanan and Tatyana Suarez,
but the timing didn't work out for those matchups.
And LaMosch could really spoil, you know,
Zhang's plans to fight one of those two.
But that's a great first round for the champion, though.
Yep.
Oh, big shot from Lemoche.
A little piston there from Lemosch.
But John definitely needs.
Oh, almost got her tripped up again.
Yeah.
I'm amazed Lemosch is throwing those kicks so freely
after getting a trip to the map in the first round.
I'm amazed.
She's just like, yep, go ahead.
But she's dangerous off her back.
Oh, geez, wow.
A little sidekick.
Yeah, a little sidekick to the body.
Yeah.
That was nasty.
Oh, another nice right hand, man.
Okay.
Right hand is getting through.
I mean, she's got the lunch boxes.
Oh, there we go.
John gets a takeout.
There it is.
356 to work.
Come on, John.
She went to the well too many times.
Oh, Wiley.
She ducked, yeah, she ducked that right hand and going right to the takedown.
That was beautiful.
She went right under it.
She's got almost four minutes to work here.
Wayley, Chance in Boston.
She's trying to trap the arm.
Yeah.
She's so good at that.
She's trying.
She's trying to try and try.
Oh, she's got the knee on the arm.
Lemoche gets out.
All right.
I shot from Lemoche there.
Yeah.
Lemos is a very strong grappler, right?
I mean, we know that.
Just not where she wants to be here.
Yeah.
Chang's kind of sitting in her half guard.
She's, you know, she has to respect it.
She had to respect that choke attempt in the first.
Yep.
She's being smart.
She used to win in the round.
Yeah, it's no reason to take any crazy risks.
She takes a look over at her corner.
She's not concerned about GC's submission bet, you know?
It's not in her mind right now.
It's not really here.
That's all right, man.
She can do whatever she's got to do.
She can do what she wants.
Yeah, of course.
I mean, if it's the chance.
She's the chance.
At the Sunday.
If the submission hits.
Oh.
This is getting.
Jang is so aggressive, though.
She's not content to sit in there.
She is really trying to do damage, trying to advance.
I like it, man.
She's aggressive, huh?
She's aggressive.
She wants to win.
That's a good...
That's why we keep you around from me.
Accurate.
Accurate.
There's those short little nasty,
annoying elbows again from Zhang.
She's got the hand right on the face of a minute.
I was to say,
she's going to stick a finger up her nose,
which is pretty sure...
Oh, oh!
Oh, she's...
Maybe?
Nothing.
Nothing.
No, no, no, nothing.
Trying to take the back again.
Lemos is doing a nice little.
job here.
Oh, Zhang!
That's a hook in.
Two hooks in.
Two hooks.
148 to work.
Lamos, still fighting the hand.
She's not doing too bad.
She's got two hands on one of the Zhang's hand, so she's all right.
I wonder if Zhang is just going to transition to mount and just start unloading the clip.
She's doing the BJ pen, the thigh kicks.
Yep.
Oh, BJ would flex his leg up and kick the body.
Yeah, nice calling.
Just going to try to mount.
Now she's just going back to side control.
All right, she's happy here.
She's going to start throwing little short little elbows again.
Yeah, her top control is friggin sick.
There it is.
Nice elbow, nice elbow.
There it is.
Another one.
There's three.
Oh, oh.
Oh, a little scramby.
Scrammy from Lomo.
She's back up.
Oh, nice elbow from Jean.
Nasty.
That was an impressive scramble, though.
Oh, then we go back to the ground.
Right back down.
I think she almost kind of pulled guard, though.
Yeah.
Yeah, that is what it looked like.
I'm way through there.
Yeah.
I think she felt like she was about to get slammed.
And she just was like, okay, I'm going down.
I don't think she liked those standing elbows either.
I don't look, did not look fun.
Did not look fun to be eating those.
There's the translator, Schonerner, Fabiano.
The man.
That's a hang out with him.
Oh, that can be fun.
Good, good dude, very, very solid guy.
I've heard good things.
Yes, nice, nice, nice guy.
You feel like Zhang can keep this up for another 50 minutes too,
if she has to. That's what's so scary.
Nobody, I mean, that wouldn't be good for
anybody, except for Zhang,
but.
Right.
Figured, like, if a finish was going to come on this,
after three straight decisions,
someone was going to get a finish here.
Let's see if. But we're,
we go to round three. We go around three.
I'm going to go 10-9,
Zhang there, so I have it
2017.
Great year. 10-9,
yeah, I agree.
Lamoche has never lost a decision.
So I still think that Zhang's going to put her away.
Just when, though?
Yeah, she's never lost going to the distance.
So I don't think that's going to happen tonight either.
I think Zhang puts her away.
2017, Zhang could be 2018.
But yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Clear rounds for Zhang Wei Lee.
Yeah, I have to say that corner warning her about that countercross,
which caught her a couple times.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
The third time.
That was nice by Lamosh.
But they're smart.
They're smart.
They're desperate.
gonna be desperate.
John Wood in the corner.
Zhang doing some work at a...
Man, she got the back there for a second.
Yeah.
Sheesh.
I was feeling it.
Turn the heat up in here, man.
Listen, even if the sub doesn't hit,
you got to give some credit to Wiley.
It's been live a couple times.
It's been live a couple times.
I think it's going to hit.
I really think it's going to hit.
All right.
I mean, if happens this round,
I'm not going to complain.
All right.
We go to round number three.
Let's see if John can get this right back to the mat.
See if Lemos can have any success on the feet.
Yeah, I wonder how Lamos can change her approach here.
Because Zhang got the first one off a leg kick, right?
She tripped up with a leg kick.
The second time, I think, was a body lock,
and she got a couple body locks in round two.
Yeah.
So I wonder, I have Lamosh.
She's keeping her distance, that's for sure.
She's very wary of it.
She's very wary of it.
Yeah, I mean, she's got to change something after those first two rounds.
She cannot take it out again.
It just can't happen.
Good Lord, 125 to 4 on the total strikes.
Wow.
That's significant.
That's...
I love it, Frank, again.
Just so timely.
Dynamite drop in, Frankie.
Zingda.
This is what they too.
Oh, wow.
Combination from shot.
Oh.
Oh, that was nasty.
Oh, oh.
Oh, no, she caught the knee.
It's about to go down.
Lamos trying to muscle her.
Got the double under hooks.
She got the double under hooks.
She's trying to double.
and a musseler.
John's about a tripper.
Oh.
Oh, good job by Amanda.
John trying to get one.
Uh-oh.
Get McDonald's.
Warning.
Oh, good right hand from Zhang.
Oh, nasty.
And she got the single.
She tried.
Shout out to Lemos.
Trying with the friend's screen.
Oh, already 90 seconds into this round.
Yeah.
Oh.
Quick, man.
There is no position in which
Zhang is not trying to hurt.
Yeah,
she's a good.
Even now, even now, she's hit it with the butt kicks.
Yeah, she's getting her in the butt.
Even now.
Yeah, there's no backing off.
There's no backing off.
There's no cruising, cruising through a sequence.
She wants to hurt you so badly.
Is she a try to jump in there?
Yep, there she goes.
She's not afraid.
About to go to side control very easily.
Wow.
I think Lemos could be getting a little bit tired.
Yeah, this is, I mean, it's got to be brutal for her.
Guys, you know, I don't say it's very often, but this is,
this is some beautiful mixing of the martial arts.
Yeah, it's a way to put it.
I like to keep.
the martial arts apart generally,
but if you're going to mix them,
please do it, right?
Please do it like Zhang Wei.
Yeah, you got to be as good as Zhang Lili.
Oh,
Don takes it back.
Incredible.
Hook in.
Oh.
Did she get two in?
Oh.
Yep.
Oh, she got it.
Oh, man.
She snuck it in.
Come on.
Come on.
John.
Oh.
It's so close, but we're so far.
We're so close, but we're so far.
Look at those guns on Zhang Wei Lee.
How long can you keep those arms?
Oh, hearts are pumped.
Heart's burnt right now.
Why are you doing this to me?
She's going to get it.
She's going to get it.
I like your optimism.
I'm going to try to flatter her out.
I mean, it's not optimistic for Mandel Lemosch.
I'll tell you that much.
She is in hell right now.
Yeah.
I mean, if you want to start punching.
She's in absolute hell.
There's the elbows again.
Oh, boy.
There they are.
Oh.
There's this little short.
suffocating elbows.
Oh, she's trapped in the arm.
Oh.
I mean, shout out to the resilience here.
Yes.
I don't know if she was already on the list,
but I think Zhang Lili has to be now in the top five of, like,
people you would never want to fight in your life.
Or even upset remotely.
Or even look at the wrong way.
Yeah, because she is mean.
She's mean.
You forget to say bless you when she sneezes,
and it's like, damn it.
Yes.
Got her.
At least a guzundite, you know.
She is a big Tom Brady fan.
Who isn't?
Great question, Frank.
Yeah.
Watch yourself.
Oh, those elbows from all angles.
Menlo-em-em-O.
I think AK put it best.
Yeah, she's in hell right now.
That is not how I'd refer to Boston, but I could see it.
How dare you?
I'm frozen.
I can't believe we got the hooks in twice.
Yep.
She'll get it again.
She'll get it again.
She's breaking her down.
Oh, that's bad.
Those kicks to the body are unreal.
If you want to go ahead and just knock her out, that'd be fine.
Then it cashes every ticket, every single one.
Oh, big right hand.
30 seconds left.
Before I get to the championship rounds.
Is you going to shoot again?
I think we're about to get another show.
Oh, nice elbow.
Geez.
Oh, my gosh.
156 to 9 of the strike totals for Jean-Weilly.
Not going to win many fights when you're,
when you've only landed nine significant strikes to your opponent's 156.
All right.
Clear three rounds for Zhang.
Clear three rounds.
You know, possibly a 10-8 in the first.
Definitely, yeah, I'm going to go 10-9 again.
I'm going to say she's up 30-26 right now through three.
Yeah.
And other than an occasional counter, Limoche has not...
Oh, and that, I should say, the near choke in the first round.
That was pretty impressive.
But other than that, all Zhang Wei, man.
Number one.
Number one in NBA fighting's pound-for-pound women's list, by the way.
Zhang Wili and
reinforcing that pretty strongly tonight.
I don't think we have any regrets
I'm putting her number one.
Yep.
158 to 9.
The strike totals after three rounds.
And this is the kind of fight that has me saying
why I think, like, Tatiana Suarez
is almost a sure thing to beat anyone except her.
I still think Zhang Wili is,
watch what she's doing tonight.
I'm not, and, you know,
the motion Swarrest is far apart,
but Zhang is at peak talent right now.
She's been absolutely incredible.
Yeah, imagine if you rematch Rose and Zhang.
I would pick Zhang for sure.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I thought Zhang won the second fight.
She could get the crucifix in.
Yeah, that's what she keeps trying to do by pinning that arm down,
but Lemoche keeps freeing it.
Yeah.
All right, here we go, round four.
Maybe they see Lamosh tiring.
Maybe they'll be more vulnerable to it in this round,
certainly possible.
Those arms must be just filling with lactic acid at this point.
I think we're about to miss.
the under three and a half, sir.
The violence parley might die before you even got going.
Oh, no.
The co-main main violence parley.
I mean, if there's one of these bets in the blue box that I'm okay losing,
it's probably the violence parley bet piece, the under three and a half.
My best friend, do you still have a straight bet on Aljo finishing second or third round?
I do.
Which one?
Both are...
I have a sprinkle on two and three.
I love that.
Same, same, same.
I followed you.
I followed you into the dark on that one.
I tell you, you're talking about a No Betz Bar, and I'm like, yeah.
Yeah, I'm in.
I'm in, I'm in, for sure.
All right, a little more tentative here, round four for both ladies.
Zhang has no reason to over extend to really take any chances.
She knows she's comfortably up.
It's really all on Lomosh to do something here.
So Zhang is just taking her time.
She's not going to make any mistakes.
I agree.
A lot of Zhang, like, yep, we're going to see a ton of light kicks from John.
on this round.
And why not?
Yeah.
No reason to over extend.
She's leading the dance.
Lamoch has to take a risk.
Ooh, nice little right hand.
She made Jong smile
with that right hand.
And that's what it's all about.
Yep, sure is.
It's all about.
Okay.
Definitely a slower round here.
Patient round.
Yes.
Patience has been kind of
the key for this main.
card. I think every single fight has shown patience.
We got it from Gary.
Yeah. We got it from Cheeto.
This card has delivered, by the way, I feel.
I don't know if how you guys
have been viewing it. Maybe
a money's worth. Yeah, I think it's
been fun. This card has been good. Yeah.
Silvermania delivered.
Uh, Petrosky, Merchart.
That was good fight. It was pretty middleweighty. Yeah, good, middleweighty
fun. Also, fighter finale.
Oh, there's that light kick again from Zhang.
Main cards.
Grod.
Yeah.
There hasn't been like a bad fight on the main card.
We just...
No, even though...
We're waiting for a finish.
Oh, let us drop to!
Uh-oh.
Was that a slip?
Was that a trip?
I don't know.
It was definitely a knockdown.
I mean, if it was a slip,
then it would coincide with her getting punched in the face.
I think that was a slip.
I would not square the knock down personally.
Yeah.
Yeah, the way the comments...
The commentators aren't even saying anything about it, so...
Yeah, but Amanda is landing clean, though.
Yeah, she is landing clean.
She's landing clean.
Oh, good right hand.
Oh.
Wow, what a eight.
All right, the number three and a half is no more, but that's okay.
Guys, when we talk about having a plus athleticism in M.M.A.
Yeah, give G.C. the sub. Yeah, let's give G.C. the sub.
Oh, Lemo's going for the sub here.
Again, she knows is there.
They trained.
Oh, she's back with the music show or whatever this is.
Wow, what is this? Yeah, what is this?
Does she have something in?
She's squeezing with everything she's got.
She's trying to rip it off.
Oh, Sean's out of there.
Right, right as Cormier.
goes, this is tight. She
lets it go. As
is typically done on. It's like a
junk stood. Yeah.
Whoa. Those stars are right off.
She's got to get dumped again here.
Oh, Lemo's doing a nice job.
You could give this round
to Lemo so far, by the way. Oh, for sure, for sure.
Yeah, I think I think everyone
She needs more than rounds right now, though.
She needs a finish. She's starting
to feel herself a little bit. You can see
there's a little more swagger to Lemo. Good kick
to the body from Zhang.
She's like off balance, a little bit of wobbling.
One minute to go here.
Man, number's still jarring.
Updated strikes.
177 to 19 for Zhang Wei Li.
Lemos has landed more strikes in this round than she has the first three combined.
Would you say Zhang maybe a little bit made a little bit of mistake in this round?
Maybe playing like the prevent defense as it were.
Yeah, yeah.
That's a nice.
Yes.
It's a nice little football.
terminology. When she slipped.
Oh, oh.
It's like she stuck with something, man.
That hurt. I think they might have bumped heads, too.
I think there's probably been a couple. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Some very close exchanges here.
Oh, good shot from Zhang.
Oh, that kick from Zhang was nasty.
Let's see.
Lemos just...
Oh, just lunging.
I'm actually giving that round to Zhang.
I'm actually going to give it to Lemos.
Yeah, I was to say.
Lomoche was doing well.
She didn't pull away enough.
I think she could have pulled away a little more.
I'll give it to Lamoch as well, but if you get the rent...
I'm not incredibly confident in that.
I'm not incredibly confident in that.
That could have gone other way.
That could have gone other way.
All right.
Lemosch's best round, her best round, for sure.
Yeah, but either way, Lamoch needs a finish.
Whether she won that round or not, I mean, she's way down.
What is it called when you nine-x something?
Like quadruple,
What's the 9x?
Let's look it up.
I think it's the windows.
The windows?
I got you, Frank.
I got you.
Thank you.
I need someone.
Non-couple, nine-fold.
She's non-coupleing her in strikes.
Yes, yes, thank you.
Nice, nice, nice.
Don't see that too often.
We learn something.
Don't see that too often, huh?
All right.
Lemosch is pretty dangerous.
I think Zhang's going to get, I mean, it's not feeling like we're going to get a
Zhang finish here.
I don't know, no.
Remember, we came off the year of fifth round championship flight finishes, right?
Is it time for the most?
It's been a while.
It's a while.
This could be mental emotion.
There's the high five, and we're off here.
I'm in the gutter if that happens.
I think a lot of people will be, GZ.
I think a lot of parlayes are going to crumble if Zhang goes down in this round.
The M.MA hour one for one.
Oh, yeah, yeah, Juliana's pick.
I forgot.
Yes, yes, Juliana's.
Oh, nice body kick.
Body kick from Zhang.
Oh, big shot.
It was a slip.
That's a drop.
Now, that's a knockdown.
That's a knockdown.
Oh, big shots.
Big shots.
Big shots.
Oh, big punch.
Club and sob.
Clubb and sub.
Go for the sub.
Oh, she's going to be there.
She's going to be there.
She's going to be there.
No way.
Limos.
No, no.
Nothing yet. It's not there. It's not there.
Oh, her leg is bendy.
She's turning right into it.
Oh, big right hand.
Oh, yeah, it's out of town.
Lamotia's leg was bent more than her. Kevin, Kevin.
Come on, Kevin. Come on, Kevin. Come on, Kevin.
Come on, Kevin. I don't know why you would be doing.
Go over the sub. I don't know why you would.
Convincent maneuver.
Come on, Kevin.
There it is. Snatch up that neck.
Oh, he did a good job.
She got the on here. Maybe she, well, she wants the crucifix.
Oh, no.
she's trying little hammies
she's
that's yeah
she can get to Amanda though
damn
yeah she's tough man
she's tough as now
like I said
Lamoch has never lost going the distance
so I thought she didn't have it in her to go
25 minutes in a fight like this she's looked
there were a lot of props to Amanda Lomuch
wow yes the toughness
is incredible yes
sits on that arm
just those little shots from John
still hurt.
Way Lee chants.
They love her, man. They love her in Boston.
How could you not?
Yeah, here it is.
The arm is still trapped.
Yes. Yes.
Oh, go for it.
No, I don't think she can get a submission from here, though.
I think she, TKO, yeah.
She's tough as nails.
Are you serious?
All right, punch. Just keep punching.
Keep punching.
She'll run out of gas.
Yeah, Kevin,
Frank is actually right.
I think she's got to be a little bit careful about this
because these punches are not going to stop the fight.
What do you mean Frank is actually right?
Oh, what a knee.
I meant to put the emphasis on the right, Frank.
Oh, nice elbow.
Oh, another big elbow.
265 to 21.
265 to 21.
Wow.
Oh, and an easy takedown.
There it is.
Now we go for a little head and arm.
For the sub.
go for the sub. She does love her head and arms. I mean, she's got a good one.
Six takedowns for Zhang. New record for her.
Less than two minutes for Lemosch, I think, has got to be out of gas at this point.
Anyone would be. I'm not questioning her gas tank. I'm saying anyone would be after these five rounds of action.
Yeah. Oh, it looks like she's trying. Yeah, she's still moving her hips. She's still,
she's not just laying there. I'm amazed.
Lemos just like her
demeanor
her eye dude
look at her right eye
oh is she going for it
is she going for it
come on
nah
she's trying to trap the arm
oh she almost
she almost dropping a knee on the head there
what the hell
there's the knees to the body
yeah the knees of the body
to open it up
nasty
hey wash those toes
come on Amanda
come on Kevin
get in there
yeah Kevin's the one
that you're watching those
we got a new record
largest total strike differential
in a women's fight ever.
And I think John is just going to continue to add to that.
278 to 21.
This is just incredible.
Yeah.
Oh, Lemosch.
Lemos.
Oh, she is going on.
Why not?
Why not?
Yeah, you have to.
Desperation.
Good for you, Amanda.
Good for you.
Boston crowds.
Oh, whoa.
Well, it was lost something there.
Almost, yeah.
Yeah.
Almost a wardrobe malfunction.
Okay, so five fights into this...
There's three seconds left.
To this watch party, five decisions.
Geez.
Oh, there you go.
Lost a couple of bad spots.
I actually won my parlay, yeah.
I won my parlay, yeah.
We have a parley.
I'm actually incredibly disappointed that Zhang Sub didn't hit.
I'm just going to blame A.K. Lee kept saying it was going to hit, so...
I am the worst of predicting things.
Yeah.
This is true.
And also, in fairness, I also,
I predicted a Zhang submission, but I did not bet on it.
So didn't put my money where my mouth was.
I mean, I'm never going to hit one of those.
Like, let's just, let's just be honest.
And like, let's just get the, let's address the elephant in the room.
I'm never going to hit one of those.
Yes, the Zhang Wei, Ian Gary, Natty, Iice Parlay has officially hit it plus 10.6.
So there you go.
All right.
Congrats.
That's everyone who got in on that.
We got something.
You guys are 109.
109.
What's that?
Yeah.
109.
Yeah, 108 the first round.
That's close to a 10-9.
That was a close to a 10-8 round right there too.
Sure.
I'll go 10-9.
But I don't need 10-9.
Might have taken round four.
Might have taken round four and at least one or two of the scorecards, maybe.
I just want to say in the pound-for-pound rankings of M-Afighting.com,
Zhang Wili, six first-place votes.
Two votes went to other people.
I hope she gets another first-place vote after this one.
I think this was an amazing performance.
She should be unanimous after this.
You would think so, but knowing our panel,
that's a whole other discussion, Mike.
We'll save it for the podcast.
We'll save it for the podcast.
I don't want to get into it
with some of these Jemokes that are on our panel
who abuse our voting system.
Let's celebrate the champion.
288 to 21, the final discrepancy.
Absolute, just bludgeoning.
14 minutes and 52 seconds to zero for ground control time.
Bruce Bop for making it official.
Split.
I'm just kidding.
54?
One judge gave level sure.
Yeah, 49.45.
One judge gave two 10-8s, which I don't hate it all.
John Way Lee, still a strawway champion of the world.
All right.
Big fights ahead.
Huge fights ahead.
Jan John, Nang, coming up next probably.
Boston.
I hope we get another English program from John.
That was awesome at the ceremonies yesterday.
Yeah, let's rock Boston.
They love her in Boston.
I mean, crazy.
Hard enough to love her after that performance.
That was...
It's almost time.
It's about that time.
AK, before you let you go, my band,
what is the official final prediction
for the main event?
It is the skills versus the destiny vibes here
in a lot of people's eyes.
Is it Al Jemaine Sterling?
just being on top of all the Bannamweight championship record books,
or are we about to begin the Sugar Show era at the top of the 135 pound division?
I love a good, neat, exciting rise to the top as much as anyone,
but I cannot wrap up my head how Chana Melly overcomes the grappling of Al Jermaine Sterling.
So I'm with you, Mike.
It's going to happen around two or three.
I'm going Al Jermaine Stirling submission round three.
I'll go three.
All right.
There you go.
My best friend
I will see you tomorrow at 10 a.m.
See you guys.
I won't see you this week, A.K., no more tough.
What?
Top hang, episode 13.
We've got to recap what happened tonight.
I love it.
I love it.
A.K., my best friend,
thank you so much for hopping on them, man.
See you guys.
See ya.
There he is.
The great Alexander K. Lee.
The Prince of positivity, man.
How are we feeling?
If this next fight goes to a decision,
it's a sluggy slug.
That would be the first.
Watch party where all of them went to a decision, yeah?
Yeah.
It's 1240, and we still have the main event to go.
Yeah, this is...
Listen, this is all...
Still fun, but...
Here's the thing, though.
This is all worked up to my biggest bet of the night,
main event.
Fight does not go to a decision.
All the ju-ju is working in our favor right now.
Okay.
All the ju-jou's working in our favor right now.
working in our favor.
All right.
Let's rip some packs.
Let's get our second autograph.
We've got a video game coming.
Yes, we've got to play the video game.
Wardrobe change?
Oh, yes.
The wardrobe change is coming.
Mike, where are you going, man?
I'm just getting my wardrobe change.
I'm not changing it yet, but
the main event shades are about to come on.
I got to rip these.
Jack Eichael.
San Diego.
Weinberg.
back. There's Al Jermaine Sterling.
Gloves are on.
Gloves are on. We have got four packs to go.
Five packs to go.
Frank, what's the over under on white cardboard pieces?
One and a half. Minus 333.
All right.
Sean looking good.
We get another one. It's going to be pretty funny.
All right, here we go.
Corey Sandhagen.
All right.
Shout out.
I saw him.
Putting on Denver,
Pierre Rodriguez.
Muslim Salikov.
And new.
No.
Did they just print that?
I think you mean and still.
Jean-Wei Lee.
That is quite cool.
And then in Alex Perez,
this is a little blue guy,
a little blueberry sparkle
out of 250.
A little light blue action.
They're calling this
the Kool-Aid blue jammer,
Alex Perez.
That should be worse something someday.
This and new, quite cool.
If we could update that to end still, though, that'd be even cooler.
I'm making a mess over here.
I mean, we got trash.
Everywhere.
How would you know, Frank?
You never come in here, but I can't even get out of the room
before you're gone after these things.
Facts.
Kevin Holland.
Shout out.
Him and Jack Della Madelena.
That should be a great one.
Ignacio Baha Mondes.
Big one the other week.
Did he win?
I can't remember.
I can't remember.
I thought he lost.
Yeah, you lost.
Let's get Achilles back on here to sort this up.
Revision of history there.
This looks like a little stunner.
A little Matush Gamrot, completely normal card.
Ooh, sensations.
A Balal Muhammad's sensations.
Interesting.
All right.
Three to go.
Autographs still waiting in the wings.
I got a feeling this is the one.
Jed Mishu is going to join us for the main.
Oh, Jed Mishu, nice.
Good guy, never met him.
Santiago Ponsanibio.
Shout out, Argentina.
Whoa, whoa, we got something crazy.
Y'all see that?
You'll see that shape back there?
All right.
All right, so Davidson, Figurato, Neo Magdi.
Not on the ground this time.
Wow.
There's Israel out of sun, yeah.
Global icon.
What do we got?
What do we got?
What do we got?
Here we go.
Female fighter.
Malefighter, Havel Fazeev!
Why is it this shape?
It's like a razor.
Why is it this shape?
I was thinking more of a decorative cut.
Yeah.
Can anyone tell me why this is this shape?
Because they wanted it to be different.
I guess that's kind of cool.
I was hoping for something like maybe like that was going to be like, I don't know.
They could call them dye cuts in the industry.
Thanks, man.
The amount of knowledge is, man.
You should go on Jeopardy, Frank.
All right, here we go.
Two to go, boys.
We still have another auto waiting for us.
Right?
I only got one autograph.
We only got one.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Who was it again?
Mario Batiste?
No.
No, it was 73 to 75, whatever it was.
73 or 75, yeah.
Marina Rodriguez.
All the times have changed.
Whoa, I'm seeing something freaky down here, boys.
Javid Bosharat.
I'm seeing something crazy down the line.
Valentina Shepchenko, what is this?
What is this?
What is this?
What is this?
What is this?
Oh, global icon.
I thought it was an autographed Alex Pereira card.
No, no, no.
Ah, it's cool with the Brazilian flag behind it.
This is blue.
This is blue.
This is blue.
I think this is an auto.
I'm going to say it's brand-in-blood.
I think this is an auto.
No.
It's a female fighter.
It's, uh...
Carol Hosa.
Carol Hosa. No autograph.
Carol Hosa.
Out of 199.
All right.
Carol Hosa.
Last pack.
This should be, this has got to be an auto.
I should have only got one auto and then just the cardboard piece.
Like, that's...
Yeah, they were like, oh, wait, we probably should have put the second auto in.
Oh, man, I thought we got an Alex Pereira.
So we've got an Alex Ferrer auto there.
I mean, I'm just...
Yeah.
I'm taking some bad beats tonight, boys.
And the Jean, the Jean sub.
Dustin Porre.
All right, there's the auto.
I see it.
There's the auto.
Irene Aldana.
Brian Battle.
Is that what I think?
Okay, no.
Holly home.
There's the auto.
Oh, thank God.
That was a Hollyholm auto.
Shout out to a legend, though.
Shout out to a legend.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
We got an auto.
tie-dye Alexander Wokinowski
autograph, baby!
Look at that!
Oh, Nelly!
The tie-d-eye with the auto,
I said I get a champ.
We got a champ, baby.
I think that one's mine.
Oh, that's big.
It's not bad.
Flip it over.
What's the number?
I mean, we're talking about,
we're talking about one of my most favorite
out of 25 francs.
Thirteen.
That's amazing.
Woo!
Let's keep it.
professional.
Woo!
Wow!
Night
made.
That's it.
Night's made.
The night is made.
Forget the cardboard.
Maybe you need cardboard to protect that.
Yes. Yes.
We have your friend on the line.
We want to congratulate you.
Get an assistant in here to wrap that up.
I mean, I got to take this over here to the side.
We do have a PA here today.
I think you weren't booked.
Did you die?
Oh, no.
It's unplugged.
No, no, no, the battery fell out.
The battery fell out.
What did you do?
The battery fell out.
Yes.
I mean, perfect timing.
We do need a PA for you.
While we fixed this.
Hold on a second.
Take me a five count.
Check one, two, three.
That's good.
We're fine.
We're good.
We're good.
Wow.
Whoa, that was crazy, boys.
That was crazy.
I cannot believe that.
Alexander Volcanozki.
Otto out of 25.
Jed, you're here, man.
Is this Jed?
I am.
Hi, Jed.
Jed.
Hey.
Hey, guys.
So excited.
Just pulled your favorite fighter autograph edition.
It was really special stuff.
You know what it said on the back?
You know what it said on the back?
You know what it said on the back?
Everybody doubt.
No, it says everybody doubted me.
Oh.
Your favorite thing he says.
You love that.
I'm the underdog.
No one gives me credit.
This is the reason why you love Volk so much.
You know, there are a lot of reasons why I love Volk so much.
Hey, G.
Guys, watch that co-main event.
Yes.
Look at that.
A champion just fighting a random person in the weight class.
It's pretty cool, pretty fun.
It's cool to do that, isn't it?
I guess so.
It's very exciting when you just fight the next available challenger.
Good things get to happen.
Yes.
All right, Jed, it's main event time.
Is the magic in the air or what?
This doesn't feel like a magical night.
No, it doesn't, man.
All these decisions, this is starting to feel kind of ridiculous.
Have the vibes gone to?
away here on the O'Malley side.
I'm bringing them back.
I'm committed. I want to be
clear. Still committed, but
the vibes have gone a little bit down.
I got a, listen,
listen, man, I got the number one chain
on. He's technically number two right now
and the sugar chain on. This is the
official 292 wig.
We are supporting. This is not the one
I wore on 280.
This should match his corneros.
Yeah. So,
vibes are high, man. Listen, biggest,
bet of the night, winning week
is decided on this last bet.
All the juju, I have fight does not go to a decision.
Biggest bet on the card.
All the juju of all the decisions.
It feels good.
It feels like the juju is going my way here.
We're due for a finish.
All you need is a finish.
Just need a finish from anyone, and it's a winning week.
I mean, boom.
I think we can make that happen for you.
One finish tonight.
I mean, if Alj, I mean, come on, dude.
We can't do a watch party and not.
not have a finish.
It's weird not having a clip at all.
We haven't had like a reaction clip.
Oh, the Volkinovsky meant
had just earned it.
That was, I mean, that was absolutely electric moments.
Yeah.
That was unbelievable.
That's the most exciting moment of the night.
We get down to the final card
and it's promises made, promises delivered.
Yep.
That was...
Look, in the defense of this card,
I think there have been some exciting moments.
Just like, I don't really know.
know how Mendelemish survived that fifth round.
That's still insane to me.
Does it,
does the,
does the,
not cashing the Zhang by decision,
by submission,
does that hurt a little bit?
Yeah,
I mean,
it would have been cooler,
but,
uh,
not catching the Zhang inside the distance hurts.
Okay.
I didn't realize you were on that as well.
That was the big one.
I just took a flyer on the submission one.
I thought we were going to get,
I thought we were going to get the submission a couple times,
dude.
I'll tell you.
you what, too, we had talked about it on NB.
There's Pedro
Munoz by splitting at
plus 900. I felt good
holding that ticket. Yarks. That was
close, man. For like 60 seconds. I was
like, man. And then somehow
it was a U.D. So, yeah.
3022. Look at this mockout.
There he comes. Matching
hair, obviously, his is braided, though.
You know, if we could get some braided.
Why didn't you braid yours, Connor? I didn't have time,
man. I'm not going to lie. I didn't have time.
That's fair.
Tim Welch?
Looks cool.
Yeah, we got Timmy Welsh.
We have Tim Welch's music ready.
Oh, no.
We have Tim Welsh music.
Are y'all believers in the armchair psychology?
This doesn't look like a man who's about to win a belt to me.
I actually thought kind of the same thing.
I don't know.
I try to not put too much stock into that.
I mean, he's a pretty relaxed dude.
Like, when he beat Piotrion, he was just like, that's it.
Like, we just got the hand raised, and he was just like, let's go.
guess, I don't know.
I don't love the vibes right now, but we're riding with him because...
I cannot believe he's fighting in.
The bed is already in.
Yeah, yeah, there's not much you can do about it, huh?
There's not much you can do about it.
And again, at the end of the day, this is a, let's sell this place out fight more than
anything.
And if Sean O'Malley loses Dalton-Dermain Sterling, he's going to get many more title shots
against fighters not named out Remain Sterling.
So it's all going to work out no matter what tonight.
If he just looks competitive in here, like, he's probably fighting for the belt's next fight anyway.
I'm so excited to see how this one plays out, man.
Yeah.
I am high to see how some plays out.
I just think there's a number of ways that this could go, and I don't know which way it's going to go.
Yeah.
Even if the fight goes like the most boring and predictable way of Aljo just sort of wrecking him,
I'm fine with that because where it leads us.
I'm just pretty excited for the next phase of Bantamweight,
and, like, Aljo gets to move up, fight for another belt.
That'll be fun and cool.
And we get to see Marab and however Bannamweight shakes out.
So I'm pretty good with however this goes down.
Yeah, I mean, honestly.
I know I'm wearing the wig and the chains and the sunglasses.
It's more just for fun.
I'm kind of cool with either guy winning.
Sure.
The O'Malley winning, though, would just be so chaotic and crazy
that I am, like, low-key cheering for it.
I'm rooting outside of my bet.
I'm rooting for O'Malley to win because we have jobs I'd like to keep.
And if O'Malley doesn't win, this night is pretty low, like, on the interest vibe.
But if O'Malley wins.
Yes.
O'Malley wins, big rock, big up.
Yeah.
Our jobs depend on this.
Yeah, I would hope our jobs are not dependent on the outcome of this fight.
If say Sterling comes out here and wins, like, a 49.
46 by backpacking him for four rounds.
That would be...
Dude, that would be a pretty...
I would say that would be a pretty...
Like, I know there were moments,
that would be a pretty big letdown of a main card.
Yeah.
I really hope that doesn't happen.
I've enjoyed the main card.
I don't have any issues with the main card.
It hasn't been...
I've enjoyed it, but like...
If...
Yeah, it's...
I hope we see it finish.
Yeah, it could be cooler.
It's probably the best way to describe.
Well, I like this.
All black.
We saw two fights with...
10-7s in them. Like, that's, that's a pretty rarity. So that's fun.
You scored some 10-7s. I had a couple of 10-7s thrown out there. Round 5 for the
co-main event, 10-7 for Wiley. Round 3 for Ian, Ian Machado-Garry got himself 10-7.
Any on the official scorecards?
I haven't looked at the officials for the co-main event, because I obviously hopped on here.
I think the judge who gave it 30-24 did 3-10-8s.
though for for machado gary
that's a beat down
I don't feel like the first round
should have been a 10-8 didn't seem like a 10-8
round which is a bit odd but
I'm going to look at him right now
the weirdest card of the night was
I'll go with the Cuban length
let's go
the weirdest card of the night was
Steve Rita scoring the first round
for a fight that ended in the first round
yeah that was weird
it's just even weird
that he's the only one the other two judges
didn't have.
Yeah, because the round didn't end.
Also, who tweeted that?
Why did we need that tweeted?
Yeah, it's for real.
I will say, if we're playing the psychology
of the, uh, of the armchair
quarterback,
Aljo does kind of look like a man.
Oh, crowd.
It just picked up a fuck you, Aljo.
It's endearing in Boston.
Aljo, Aljo looks like a,
looks like a guy who's about to go defend his belt.
Boston's like, he does.
He's putting his arms up for high-sides.
See a lot of pink wigs out there.
See a lot of pink wigs.
The face off yesterday, too,
that was when my vibes first started changing
when I was like, this energy,
this face off energy looks like Aljo's gonna run this dude.
What was the song he sang?
I don't recall.
Sugar.
You were singing a Christmas song, right?
Yeah, but it was to the jingle of a Christmas song,
but it was, you know.
Went to Wonderland.
Yeah, but it was changed up to Sugar something.
The green hair, man, is a great look for Aljo here.
Machado Gary Neil Magi
It's definitely an interesting vibe for him
I like it dude
You're going to Boston rock the green man
You're in the TD Garden green everywhere
Plus you're just stealing O'Malley's whole bit
Like it's solid
It's well done stealing
Yeah
I don't know I gotta say I don't think it's an homage
I think he just has color hair
I don't think Sterling would callify it
He woke up that way
I like Quinta gets the chain
Let's go
Yes
Who is that?
Gary Magny
Joyner Lucas
chiming in
All three judges gave the third round
10-8s
And David Ginsburg
scored every round 10-8
Yeah
It's bold
Bold decision
I don't hate it at all
It's fine
It's like 14 knockdown
Most wins in Bantamweight history
14
It's impressive stat man
Yep
He should have 15
But one of them
ended up being like a weird
Catchweighty fight
Because he took it on
Super Short notice
Oh okay
Oh, some in his eye.
Uh-oh.
It's a conspiracy.
It's a slurrying the eye to start.
Nice.
Not a good, not a good start.
Yep.
Conspiracy surrounding the cup man.
Who's the guy in the...
UFC is paid off the cup man.
With the hoodie on?
Yeah, who's...
I don't know.
I mean, the booze in this building are unreal.
I feel like he's used to at this point.
Boosting.
Boosting.
It's just, Sean...
I'm going to be honest.
I'm pretty pumped to watch Alcho fight,
Alexia into Volknovsky.
it says W.
Like,
that fight's gonna be fun.
Jedd,
your thoughts.
Jed,
your thoughts on Bruce Buffer's
jacket tonight.
Yeah,
it's an interesting.
Yeah,
let's hear it.
What do you have to say?
It's very interesting.
I said that in the pre-fright Q&A.
Mike,
I was like,
I don't know what Buffer's doing here.
Most of what Buffer wears
not to my taste.
Did you know he's color body wears?
I largely do not,
like,
I would not wear most of the tux jacket.
Well,
you're also not Bruce Buffer.
Yeah.
Right.
I mean,
when you're him,
I would personally consider that a success on my part, but, like, no love lost for Bruce Buffer.
I don't hate him.
I just like who I am, so I don't want to be Bruce Buffer.
Shout out to Judd.
Yeah, well.
Well, with that said, Jedd Mishu announces he's better than Bruce Buffer on the UFC one.
Wow.
Sterling on a matter, like, face-to-face in each other.
So I feel like I'm doing okay.
It's one of his words.
Let's put that button missing.
It looks radioactive.
It looks like Christmas rapping.
Like that's, it looks like dollar store Christmas thing.
But why is the, the button missing under the bow?
Early face off.
That's a great thing.
Early face off.
I really like this energy from the, that's pretty dope.
I do too. I like the energy for the last time of this tale of tape that we're going to do.
Let's do it.
Let's do it.
It's main event.
Final time tonight.
Sean O'Malley finally getting pushed backwards and Sterling's like,
I told you.
I got you.
Here we go, baby.
I'm moving backwards.
There we are right there.
23 and 3.
There's the proper 16.
Sterling.
23 and 3, 34 years old.
Sterling's 6 years older.
Shot on Maui, 4 inches taller, but only a 1 inch advantage.
Both fighters came in at 135 pounds.
Time for talk is over.
Let's get it.
Let's do this thing for the Banimway title.
Aljo halfway out into the octagon.
He's ready.
It's incredibly confident.
He's invading the space.
Yep.
Bruce Buffer is getting this crowd fired up.
What's the over under on seconds until Aljo shoots?
15 and a half.
I'm going to take the under.
All right.
I'll take the over.
I think he's going to immediately do it just to send the message.
There is a-
Rob on the cage.
Because the $100 bet.
Who lands the first takedown?
Oh, yeah.
That'd be pretty funny if you just got it right away.
Yeah, I think it's just going to be instantaneous.
O'Malley throws up the zeros.
I actually think I need O'Malley to have a winning week, so let's go, Sean.
The undefeated bit is so good.
Yeah, just don't.
I appreciate it.
It's grown on me.
Oh, it's, it's, I love it.
I think it was lame when it was just the Cheeto one, but now that there are two of them, I support it, honestly.
It gets better, the more that that happens.
Like, he came back, because I covered that card.
He came right back after the Moon.
He was like, no, I won.
That's a win.
Aljo just like, I finished him.
Aljo really looks like he is just ready to roll.
He looks like a man who has supreme confidence.
He's about to kill this dude.
Yes, like, he does not look nervous at all.
Theo Vaughan chiming in, Sugar Show.
Teddy Outless.
Yeah.
Teddy Outless on some takes out there today.
I mean, that's Teddy A for you.
And Jamal Hill, M.A. Fighting's favorite fighter, chiming in as well.
Hey, former champ. Look at him go.
The number four ranks light heavyweight in the world.
Teddy Atlas called saying that Sean O'Malley reminded him of Roy Jones Jr.
It's one of the coolest, most insane things I've seen today.
It's like, okay, Teddy, what?
Mark Goddard wasn't even finished with his instructions before they touched fists and separated, which is incredible.
How are we feeling?
Especially when he's a real champ.
I'm getting a second wins.
Oh, I'm hype.
I'm fired up.
I mean, I was, the nerves that I had for the Zhang fight are not here, but, man, I mean, Jedwin, when she got the first back tape, my heart was pounding.
Oh, they touched gloves?
It was electric.
They did again.
There we go.
I really wanted O'Malley did to go for the just flying knee right out of the gate.
We're closing in on that 15 seconds.
Oh, no.
Cash the over.
Let's go.
Good stuff, Mike.
Yep, let's go.
Nice start for us.
Well done.
Those jelly beans are sitting funky with me right now.
So, O'Malley's not getting himself backed up too much to start, which is good.
Yeah.
I feel like I'm never nervous for fights until like they start.
Then once we're in it, I'm nervy now, man.
Nervie.
Oh, that's good.
That's fun.
Big time moments, man.
I'm usually only nervy in fights that I like really care about.
We're doing this now?
I'm actually okay with whoever wins.
Well, you don't like nervy, Frank?
I think,
hmm,
what?
Nervy's a word,
Frank.
You got to let that.
Aljo has thrown
197.
We got the OLA chance going,
baby.
This is how
Aljo is strictly going
to kick from long range
or get inside
and go for takedown.
This man is not going to
get into the danger zone
with O'Malley.
O'Malley's kind of pushing forward,
but.
Yeah.
Let's see.
Oh,
that faint.
Aljo bit hard on us.
Fane ever.
Outso did bite.
Best faint ever.
Wow, you're hearing this chat?
I can't make it out.
FU.O.O. Joe.
Boston being Boston right now.
Boston.
Just stand up, Austin.
Yep.
It's like an ECW show.
We are, we're doing a lot of feeling out.
Yeah, I was going to say a lot of movement going on here, a lot of movement.
That was like the first punch O'Malley's throne.
Oh.
That's a little front kick from Aljo.
It wasn't even committed.
Nope
We're working at range
A lot of feints
We're trying to collect that data
Forcing the takedown issue whatsoever
I'm just saying come on
While backing towards the cage
Yeah this this isn't surprise me at all
Aljo seems like the guy
That's just gonna be like all right
No one thinks I can beat this guy in the feed
I'm just gonna stand with him for as long as I can
Yeah I think he's gonna stand out yeah
I think you might be right here Mike
I thought we might just see him try it immediate takedown
just for like, can I immediately do this?
How easy is this?
That was heavy.
That was a good kick.
Sean O'Malley has landed nothing,
but he's got to be feeling pretty solid right now.
I mean, Aljo's just circling and kind of just like staying at range.
And like O'Malley doesn't want to get close
because he doesn't want to get taken down.
Yep.
He's just,
we're just kicking each other lightly from far away.
He's trying to process all of this.
Ouch.
He's getting light kicked here.
He had a trigger.
There's got to be a part of his psyche that's like, wow, this is the fight we're going to get.
Like, he's just going to do this.
Okay.
Nicey light kick from John O'Malley.
It's hoping the main event shades would...
A little shifty step from O'Malley.
Oh, that was nice.
We got a banger in us, don't worry.
It's coming.
We got 25 minutes.
Well, now 21 and 47 seconds, but still.
Sorry, I don't want Sterling to get a finish in this round anyways.
But if he doesn't two or three, I'd be okay with that.
How are we scoring this round, three?
three minutes and thirty seconds.
It's very reminiscent of the
Jan Aljo 2 first round.
I mean Aljo has landed like five strikes
I don't know going on.
Landed some some sloppy kicks.
You can't really score for O'Malley
who has landed nothing but yeah.
This is a 1010?
I think that this should be
officially by the rules it probably is supposed to go to
to Sterling.
I think we should brace draws more in this sport
10.9.5.
Crowd booing.
I'm in.
Pretty quickly here.
There were four minutes eight and nothing substantive has happened.
Not unreasonable for them.
The ties have changed from the FU Aljo to...
FU everyone?
Yeah, someone do something.
I mean, if someone does something in the next 40 seconds,
they're going to win this round.
Little side kicks.
Sterling eight to one on the leg kicks.
Sterling's got eight leg kicks.
Oh, no, it's a spin in that missed.
Aljo's gonna,
Aljo's gonna shoot at the end of the round
just to put it in O'Malley's mind.
That's what I'm calling.
I called it.
I calls it.
Let's go.
Alge.
This one out of the round, right here.
He's just showing him like, hey,
I could do this.
I could do this anytime I want to.
And he's just landing punches.
Yeah.
Shine seems irritated.
Yeah, it's annoying.
It's annoying, yeah.
Yeah, 10-9-Aljo.
Look, you got it.
I guess.
And Aljo must be feeling pretty good.
He's like, I didn't have to do really exert any energy to win that round.
Yeah, not.
I need more, or this card is not going to live up to his three-star reputation.
Yes.
10-9 Aljo.
There you go.
UFC 290, this is not Ben.
But that's okay.
They can't all be the, at worst, the fourth best card of all time.
Yeah.
And it hasn't been a bad event at all.
It really hasn't.
The prelims are really fun.
I've enjoyed it.
That round, you know, is what it is.
I'm going to get four more rounds of that, though.
I mean, if we're talking about it, then it means there's something there.
Yeah, there's something there.
All right, here we go.
Round two coming up.
What do we think?
What are we looking for here from Sean O'Malley, Jedmishu?
Action, push at risk.
You're in a championship fight.
to commit to some offense.
I mean, I know that he doesn't want to him for fear of something.
But at some point,
you're going to just have to commit to offense
and trust that you can keep on your feet from it.
This, you know, if he was just going for,
let me get my feet in for, you know, this first time of it.
Got her having to go to something.
Yeah, what was that?
He was telling us to the chill.
Aljo just came storming out and landed a kick to the body.
Oh, I'll tell him.
He slipped and Aljo has a hold of that leg
and Sean trying to defend doing pretty decent.
I mean, O'Malley has good positioning here.
He's got a nice base.
It's nice and epicest.
Stirling is extremely large.
Good left hand from Aljo on the fence.
Now we're starting to get something happening.
It took a slip to do it.
Scott Fantine.
Oh, Mellie!
Oh my God!
Wow!
Sean going for the finish
Browellon.
Big shots.
Big shots.
He got it.
Oh, my God.
Sean O'Malley's the Pan Amateur champion.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
I cannot believe it.
Whoa.
Oh, my God.
Oh, Jesus, we clubbed him.
Sean O'Malley.
Shuttle Valley!
He's the middle.
Bandoah!
Whoa, my goodness.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
Shout out to Phoenix.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God.
He's down in a beer, a happy dad, or whatever that is.
I cannot believe this.
That's monster.
I cannot believe this.
This is the funny thing that's ever happened, guys.
I cannot believe this, dude.
The vibes were, the vibes were extreme.
The vibes are extreme.
This is the funniest year in MMA history, I think.
No.
If Sean Strickland wins the next time we're here, then it will be the funniest year.
I am in shock.
Sterling got himself caught out of position, sort of in no man's land, and that's where
O'Malley is really good.
And he sniped him with the right hand.
It looked like it was right on the temple.
put him down.
I want to see the replay because I think he,
I think this just pops him.
Sterling gets over extended,
a little out of position.
Bam, he got caught.
Right.
Caught him.
Yo,
this is crazy.
Look at him.
Look at him.
Wham.
Guys, that is,
that is the craziest thing I've ever seen.
I thought he went cold.
That's extremely similar to the McGregor out.
Yeah.
Like it's almost the same trigger.
Bam.
And punch.
Because I thought,
I thought Aljo fell in his head at first.
And I was like,
wow,
he just colded him with one punch.
But Aljo was able to recover.
You see,
wow,
that ground strike just cut him open.
Yeah.
That was good.
That was a really good finishing shots.
That is,
what an effort from Sean O'Malley.
The vibes were correct all the time, guys.
Who knew?
Amazing.
It just felt,
amazing.
Amazing.
It just felt in Boston.
all week like this it doesn't matter this is what is meant to happen that shana mallee's going to
win on saturday night look i i told you earlier this week mike uh you know the champ agreed with me
this was it sometimes logic and reason don't matter when destiny's involved that's very true
oh my god he just he's smiling now now he's like all right i'm the damn champion dana's holding that belt
tell me now he's holding that he's so happy right now god is dana white so happy right now god is dana white
so happy. So let me ask you this, Jed, because we're going to do, obviously, the matchmaking show tomorrow.
Is Alger going to 45? They're going to get him a rematch? What are we thinking here?
He ain't getting a rematch, bro. Like, not after that fight. He got clubbed. He got clubbed in the second round.
We're about to see this. I can't believe this. We're about to see. So Marlon Chito Vera is about to get a title shot. Is he not after this win tonight?
Jesus, Christmas, man.
Oh my God, we're putting the belt on Sean O'Malley.
Wow, Sean O'Malley is the Bannamweight champion of the world.
It's awesome.
That is so crazy.
Even Joe Rogan's like, look at Joe Rogan, bro.
Look what you did for this division tonight.
Look what you did for this sport, bro.
Dude, he's tough scenes for.
It's done.
That's tough scenes for Aljo.
Oh, dude, whatever, man.
It's all, like, it's all just shadow.
by this. This is
unbelievable. Aljo.
Yeah, Sean O'Malley, Jess.
It's
this is like louder. Like if
Calvin Cater had just won the title,
it would not be as loud as it is right now
for Sean O'Malley, which is insane.
Wow.
Shout out to Rick for the
Parley Boys three weeks in a row.
Oh, man.
Oh, we're going to have to absolutely slaughter
him, man.
that's the third week in a row
we've gone three for four
and he's the one that got
he didn't even want to be a part of this week
oh
godly man
that's Ovali's superpower
he's got incredible timing
and just a reaching rear hand
and launching his face into it
Umar and Magamagamadev
was very happy about this result Jed
Wow
I mean
I mean, we'll see.
Maybe O'Malley's that dude.
I don't know.
We'll see.
I feel like Marov has a great shot against him as well, but
Don't even,
because Maraub's,
don't even mention that.
Yeah,
don't even mention that dude's name if you're Sean O'Malley.
No,
this is Cheeto.
Yeah.
I'm running this shit till 2035.
Oh.
Look at the coach coming through.
Tim Welch, shout out.
Did he say December?
Yeah, he wants it in December.
Oh,
versus Cheeto.
Oh, that's it.
That's the fight.
He called it booked.
We're done.
It's done.
Cheeto Verre didn't even look like he fought tonight.
So he'll be ready for December.
That's going to be a million by pay-per-view.
You think so?
Amel.
You think it'll be that much?
Yeah.
Is that going to be the main event?
Cheeto is so,
it has to be.
Cheeto is so popular outside of what I think, like, people recognize.
And obviously, O'Malley, this is going to be a validator for him.
Let's see what Al Jalgoate Sterling has to say.
better than I thought.
Yeah.
Sterling putting
putting Sean over, no excuses.
It's a nasty cut above that.
Wow.
It is.
That was on the final blow.
I do feel like they actually like each other and respect each other.
Oh, there's all,
there's been respect.
Like, Sean,
Sean has played this perfectly.
This is the best band and weight of all time.
When I knock him out,
what does that make me?
What a weird title raid for Al Jermaine's
Dude, absolutely crazy.
The weirdest title rate I've ever seen, I think.
Let's see.
Wow.
Wow.
The humble aljo, bro.
This is a, about as honest of a post-fight interview, losing speech as you'll see.
The man.
Yeah.
I don't love that answer, but it's very, very honest.
Yes.
That's wild.
Oh.
We're in the sugar era now.
We are in the sugar era.
Buckle up.
I do think Marab Duol's really was feeling standing in the cage when he said, hey,
did Mara and Verra win?
Yes.
Well, then we're fighting in December.
Marab's just like, oh, man, I'm going to fight this guy.
No, I'm not.
He's going to fight him.
Is O'Malley the first actual contender series champion?
I mean, it's got to be, right?
Like, I know Jamal Hill won, but.
Yeah, I'm not counting Jamal Hill, but I think it's got to be O'Malley, right?
Yeah.
Full on, this was the fight we planned on making.
Yeah.
Champion.
Build to title shot, not a...
Dude, that is such a clean counter.
Such a clean counter.
Incredible.
He was flinching before you got it.
I cannot believe that that was...
It's just like, oh God, oh God, it's here.
Bam!
And if you look at Sean's eyes, like crazy eye.
This is wide his dinner place.
It's like, oh, he done goofed.
Did you see Aljo's face before that right hand landed?
He knew he was about to get clobbered.
Yeah.
He just paraded his face into that.
Like, that was not, not ideal from him.
Like, if there's a perfect time to insert the, it was at that moment, I knew I effed up thing.
You just stopped video and show the wide open eyes.
And then boom.
That was clean as hell.
Wow.
Clean as hell.
Who, I'm in shock.
Joe Rogan was just saying something about somebody.
not doing any wrestling for five weeks?
I don't know.
I don't know.
I'm sweating.
It appears that they're saying Sean O'Malley
got injured a few, like a month out
and has not done any grappling training.
Is it?
Which is interesting.
There was zero takedowns in that fight?
Zero takedowns.
Yeah.
Zero takdowns.
How about that?
Aljo may regret that.
I can't believe he has the belt.
That's so crazy.
She's, man.
Good vibes.
I'm so happy.
The last time a thing was happening here,
It wasn't nearly as fun for me.
So this is much better.
Wow.
Winning weeks for both of us, Jed?
That may have got me back to even.
I had a fair hole on my various props that all failed.
Ian Gary,
Ian Gary inside the distance, failed.
Wiley inside the distance, failed.
That hurts.
I got Vera by decision.
Six the last seven weeks, baby.
Yeah.
I hit two barles and
Rodriguez, Tulian under one and a half,
over one and a half Wyman Tabaras.
not a great one.
Not a great night.
The silver parlay was amazing, Mike.
That was the easiest cash of all time.
The other parlay hit the Zhang,
Ian Gary, Natty Ice Parlay
was pretty clean, easy cash as well.
Very...
Cheevera tweeting a bunch of money bags.
I like that.
I mean, that's the energy.
That's what we got to do here.
Probably down a couple of units all in, though,
when it's all sitting done.
But not bad.
I felt pretty good.
So there it was, man.
All the decisions led to that.
The juju was in fact.
Great way to end it.
The juju was in fact in our favor.
All right.
Well, Jed, we will let you go because you have to jump on and host the presser stream,
which should be super interesting.
Pressure should be up in like five minutes.
Yeah.
Fellas, thanks for having me on.
This is fun.
We should do this before I don't lose.
I'm sweating.
You're on the post fight show as well, correct?
I'm on the post fight show.
So a lot of talking about this.
event to come. Let's go.
Thank you, Jed.
Love you. Much appreciated.
And there's the schedule
for the next few weeks. We got UFC
Singapore, Holloway-Creen zombie.
Next week. We're in Paris the week after.
Gone versus Spivak. And then we're back
here.
93.
Australia.
Adisani Strickland?
Yeah.
Taito Ivasa.
Tim Tams?
Volkov. Yes.
Got to get some Tim Tams. Go home.
Dude, that was the...
We're going to have to shoot a boss or something.
That was the most delicious watch party of all times.
We got a...
We got a Shui Vasa back there.
I got one at the crib.
We're both going to have to Shui Vasa something for sure.
That should be a good one.
Man.
And then I think after that, then we have Noce UFC.
Notch EOX, shout out.
And I think we're off after that.
I think that's like the one Saturday offer in a long-ass time.
I think the 23rd is no card.
Is there?
Or it makes a 30-I don't know.
I don't freaking know.
Well, we're done.
Who.
What an ending is the end of the thing?
The Bantamale is the best.
What a world.
That is crazy.
That's crazy.
Yep.
Shout out.
Itchy's your head right now.
It's pretty fucking itchy.
Excuse my language.
Ready to get this thing off, man.
Ready to get this thing off.
But we do it for the Sugar Show, baby.
Shout out.
Shout out to Sugar, number one for real.
Unbelievable.
Well, that's it, everybody.
Like Jed just said,
we're going to be talking a lot about this card.
Right now in the Post-Fight Presser stream,
we'll have the Post-Fight show,
AK and I tomorrow morning, 10 a.m.
Eastern for on to the next one.
We'll do some matches.
making, I'm sure on a very special edition of the M. May hour on Monday as well, we'll have
some more chatter. But Sean O'Malley, ladies and gentlemen, the UFC Bannamweight Champion
of the World. Congratulations to Sean O'Malley. Congratulations to Boston, Massachusetts.
They came out and we're on fire all week long. Look at that. You got the gold city next to O'Malley's
name. That is. Wow. What a trip. But thank you all very much. And now we get Cheeto.
Cheeto O'Malley. They're going to do it. They're absolutely going to do that for you.
121, I gotta get home, huh?
Yeah, we gets to go.
Yes?
Yeah.
All right, thanks, Frank.
Yeah, thanks, man.
Real quick, though, there weren't any, like, huge announcements tonight.
What were you waiting for, McGregor, Connor?
I mean, McGregor, that's what I was hoping they would.
No.
No.
It's too bad.
It'll be, like, early next year, probably.
That'll probably be UFC 300 at this point.
So shout out to everybody in the back.
Shout out to Frank with so many dynamite jumping throughout the night.
Shout out.
He's the absolute legend.
He's the Bob Euker of his watch party.
Joe.
Yeah, shut them all out.
A little Frank.
Have a good eye, guys.
Sounds like there's a little going at it.
I think, you know, Joe's got to break down the set.
Frank will be at home and in bed by the time Joe's done with that.
More than likely.
I actually won't be surprised if by the time I walk to that door 10 feet away,
Frank will already be in an Uber on his way home.
You are not wrong.
Yeah.
All right.
Well, G.
C.
We'll see you in three weeks.
See you later.
Goodbye.
Goodbye, Mike.
Goodbye.
Goodbye.
Bye, everyone.
