I mean, it feels like we're here every week at this point. Like, it's just like since 290. It's three weeks later, we're 2.91. Three weeks later, 2.92. Now we're back. Another three weeks later. We're in the building. I'm happy to be here, baby.

We got our room with us. We got the stars behind us. A little Sydney Opera House. A little... I know Sydney architecture. I mean, we're doing it big here. We're down and awse. Feeling good, man.

We got vibes. I got multiple hats. I'm going to be rolling. So many hats. Rolling through the hats today. Frank was very concerned about them. Messing up the audio. I mean, these aren't great for hitting the mics.

But yeah, I mean, the vibes are high, dude. I'm feeling good. It's not on paper. It's not the greatest pay-view card in the world. But I think we're going to have some fun fights, man. Yes. And guess what? For like the second consecutive watch party,

we have a fight going on. Let's go. As it begins, we are in round. Round three of Carlos Ulberg versus Daun Jung. Carlos Ulberg knocked Daun Jung down in the first round. Huge don't. Thought he might get him out of there, but Daoenjung is super tough. Ulberg, nice second round, just being very patient here.

And now we're in round three. Feels like he's up two rounds to nothing right now. Fighting smart, fighting well. He didn't blow his load when he knocked down Jung like he did in that Kennedy fight. So good to see him fighting a bit smarter. Good to see him going deep, man. I mean, three first round knockouts in a row for him. Nice to see him having to use the cardio here a bit in the third round.

Yeah, because, I mean, when you see him get out of the first round and you see him land a knockdown and the fight gets extended, you kind of get flashbacks to the Kennedy and Sachuuku fight where he gassed and Kennedy came back and came on strong and ended up getting him out of there. Yeah, he's looking good right now, man. He's looking good, having a lot of success. Yeah.

Thought maybe Don Jung might go to the wrestling a little bit, but so far, I don't think he's attempted a single take down. Yeah, Carlos still looks. great getting off the bus. I mean, come on. That's the... Oh, as I say, Don Jung. Looks like he attempted a take down there. Yeah, I mean... Oh, what is this?

Trying something tricky did not have anything. It had... Nice. Yeah, he had nothing there. A stone cold stutter. Looked for a second like he might, but... Good knees to the body from Ulberg and the clinch. Oh, he's a nasty.

Up and comer. Main card's about to start very, very soon. And it's, look, this is going to be a fun watch. I understand people not wanting to spend 80, 85 bucks on this. I get it because for that to happen and you're already spending a ton of money and you've had to spend $80 every three weeks

for the last two months, pretty much straight. This one might be the one to say, skip, especially with what's going to be happening the rest of the year on pay-per-view. Of course. But you do get a nice break. You probably get a few paychecks in the pocket until the next one. But this card has 289 vibes to it where the main event, at least there's a title on the line. Not a lot of people feel like it's going to be all that competitive.

There's like a probable fun co-main event. But at least the rest of the cards, well, the name value isn't off the charts. we could get five like first round finishes on this card. Like that is very much in play here. I think five like first round finishes could get tricky. I think five finishes is very likely. Very possible. Yeah, I won't say, I won't say very likely.

Like, you do the featured prelim with Carlos Oldberg, Ladies' Night. Straight in to the Pleasure Man, Anton Tercal.

It's beautiful. I mean, that's a million pay-per-view buys right there. Absolutely. Great win for Carlos Oldberg. Chepe Mariscull, fight delivered. It was back and forth. Chepe was starting to come on. Fortunate for Jack.

Yeah, a nasty injury to the arm. And Chepin Maryscal gets the big win. Jamie Malarkey. I don't know. I mean, as a man who was holding a Jamie Malarkey ticket, John McDossey, fun fight. Malarkey was battered. He was bloody.

He looked like he fought John McDessie five times. Malarkey gets the nod, unanimous decision and... Unanimous. Sy of relief. Yeah, never in doubt. Remember in doubt. No, I'm just kidding.

Yeah, I mean, I would not have been surprised if they had given that to McDessie. It was a very close fight. Like, Malarkey did not perform as well as I thought he was going to. Like, he got dropped in round two, and then round three was razor thin. Like, you could have given it to McDessie,

and I wouldn't have had any issue with it. Yes. Nasraat Hackpressed. I mean, talk about a couple of guys who loaded up multiple parlays with Nazarat Hackperest. We're smart guys. I mean, we are brilliant. Shout out to Lennonis, man. What a performance by him, dude. Really showed a lot of dog in him after that quick finish on tough. Yeah, I mean, he showed he does belong here. Yeah, shout out to Lani Kinois. Probably the most random fight of the year, if we're being honest. And the funniest part is... It was so crazy. We were kind of laughing because as they're starting the fight, John Anning is like, the matchmakers know what they're doing, and we were like, I guess. Like, he lost in 45 seconds on tough,

and now he's flying across the world on short notice as they got Nasrott. Like, I guess they do, and they did. It was a super fun fight, and maybe Lennon's going to get another fight off that one. I mean, I would imagine on short notice having to go that far and then you perform like that. Yeah, yeah, he's getting another fight. Feel like the UFC does, like, a solid for you?

Oh, yeah, he's definitely going to get another fight for you. Real quick, just since we were talking about it, on Draft King's Sportsbook right now, if you did take an all-violence parlay on the main card, which, now, now that we said it, I kind of feel like we do it for the fun of it, plus 319. Ooh. I mean, it's a tough ask. You know, you got to do five fights, but it's plus 13. Everything inside the distance?

This fight is wild with everything going on right now because we thought, we're in this, we were sitting in these here chairs when Drickus Duplice finished Robert Whitaker goes out and finishes the man. And then they had the face off inside the octagon and this is the heated rivalry that the UFC has been desiring, right? And now all of a sudden, Drigis Duplice cannot make the turnaround. What a friggin shocker that was.

And then Sean Strickland comes in after beating a Boosmaga made off, a unranked fighter, a apex main event the week before UFC 290, he gets the shot. Dana White asked on Tuesday about Drickus 2 Plusy whether or not he's Nesks, and he said, well, you know how I feel about guys who turned down fights. We'll see what happens. And now we get the Sean Strickland fight. And once it was announced, everyone's like, oh, man, it's just going to run this dude. It's not going to be competitive.

It's just a stylistic nightmare for Sean Strickland. And all of those things really are true. I mean, Sean Strickland has done interviews this weekend even said that. Yeah. He's just like, this is not the fight where I'm going to excel. Like, if I'm going to win, it's not going to be fun for me. But the way you felt when this was announced, and maybe even the way you felt when No Betzbarred, when you guys recorded that program, breaking down this fight.

Yeah. Have the vibes changed at all? No. You're just like, there's no chance, Sean Strickland. No, no. I have not said that once. Okay. Or in the entire buildup to this fight that Sean Strickton has,

no chance. I've learned in my time as an MMA fan, everybody has a chance, especially at the level that Sean Strickland is at. I mean, like, come on, like, this dude is no bum. Like, he's, this may not be the most sensical or warranted title shot, but like, given the circumstances, he was next in line. Like, you don't get there by being a bum or being bad at what you do. Like, he obviously has a chance. But because of the stylistic matchup and, you know, the power that he has and the wrestling acumen that he has, I just feel like Easy has a lot of advantages, not only skill-wise,

but also physical advantages here in this matchup, and I feel confident that he is going to be the winner. Right. Which is not a crazy thing to say. He's minus 650. I'm not going out on any lens, saying that I think Israel Adasani is going to win this fight. Now, compare this to, like, other upsets that you've seen or watched.

I know, like, you're kind of a... Like, you're engulfed in this now, but you're sort of a newer fan. Sure. Would this be, if Sean Shrickon goes out there and just goes out and beats Izzy, like this isn't a banana peel, it's not a freak injury, he just goes out and just hustles Izzy all over the Octagon. I would be shocked. Would this be the most surprising thing you've seen?

If you're talking about, like, he goes out there and convincingly beats this man 49, 46 by decision, yeah, dude, shocked would not even be in the realm of where I would be at. Like, I would be floored. Like, yeah, if, if he got hurt and he, and he capitalized on that in one, if, like, somehow he did catch him. Like, yes, he doesn't carry a ton of power, but, like, at this level, anyone can be knocked out. Like, Sean Strickton could land a huge shot and knock out of Sonia out of, but, like, if he goes out there and just, like, 25 minutes puts it on out of Sonia, yeah, shocked wouldn't even begin to describe how I would feel. I would be floored. Now, now, let me say this. If he does, like, let's say he goes out there and he starts.

starts wrestling from the jump and like he's just like relentlessly chain going for takedowns. Like he's not giving out of Sonia any space. He's just blasting the whole time. And he finds success with it, then I wouldn't be as shocked. But if we're talking about, dude, they stand and have a 25-minute kickboxing match and straighten wins? Yes, dude, I will be floored. Dude, if he goes on a marabs zizi for 25-olds, could you imagine? That would be insane.

Could you imagine? It'd be insane. That's how I feel like he wins a 25-minute fight as if he's just like constantly trying to mix it up. It would legit, and I know Jed has talked about this for a while. It would be one of the funniest things that has ever happened. I agree. I'm wearing the Autasanya shirt. I

have been an Otisanya fan for a long time now. If he loses, it will be one of the funniest things. This will go down as the most hilarious year in MMA if Sean Strixland gets the belt wrapped around his waist tonight. I mean,

it will be, can you imagine? Can you imagine? Imagine the post-fight presser. Imagine the post-fight presser with Sean Strickon with the belt on the table, dude. Can you imagine it'll be incredible? And you fought in Australia. What's it like fighting in Australia, especially, you know, fighting a guy from the area. It gets pretty nasty. Man, El Cop obviously didn't make a lot of friends this week, but what was it like fighting over there? I like, you know, like I'm a much more laid back guy.

I'm not here to really stir the pot too much. I just, I like the fight. It's fun. What I love what I do. But, you know, everybody was obviously cheering for, for their guy, for their hometown hero. And, but at the end,

of the day, even with a loss, the fans were super appreciative, super thankful that we had come all the way around the world to fight in their, in their homeland and then super supportive and really appreciative of having us there. So it was a, it was a really positive experience overall. And the welcome ceremony, you were dancing around. You were going viral, man. So that must have a good time too. Fun, man. I like to have fun, man. I like to have fun. It's all about taking it in and experience in the culture. And, you know, like, it's probably, you know, it's probably going to be a while before I go back to Australia.

And we're just like, oh, let's go. Like, this is our guy. We're cheering him on and everything. And then later on in the night, you come on and you're fighting Chase Sharon. They're like, also from Connecticut.

We all went pretty insane for that. And like you guys both got the dubs. So yeah, it was cool to see someone reping the 860. Yeah, it's not often. Actually, I don't think there's anybody else wrapping us right now. Yeah, man. I actually lived in New Britain. I lived right next to the Costco, if you know where that's at.

You know what? I think if it makes it out of the first round, the longer the fight goes, the better Volkov's chances are, in my opinion. You know, he's got a couple more decision victories. He seems to have a pretty good gas tank. Tuivasa's got those big heavy hands, man. We've seen him put guys in sleep.

And with the exception of... Provitch and Cyril Ghan. He's been on a freaking tear just running through the heavyweight division. So I don't know, man. Wolf's got a serious reach, but we've seen Tuvasa go up against Drew with some big heavy hands and dropped him. So I think if Tuvasa is going to do his thing,

it's going to have to be in the first round, I think if he gets out of the first round, we're going to see both of us start to pick up some steam. Yeah, I kind of feel like that's how it goes as well, man. And I appreciate that breakdown from someone who's obviously made the walk countless times at this point. You've been doing it for 15 years. As someone who's done it in the heavyweight division,

like you have to, like, I always imagine at least, like especially in a matchup like this with Tai Tui Vasa on the other side, it kind of feels like it's a get-or-get-got matchup. Like, it's not like the one. just watched or like a 135 matcher where you know they're going to be technical in there. Sometimes they just go in and chuck them. Like what's the mindset right now? Like you're, you're about to make the walk. You're about to enter the octagon. And like you know that there's a very good chance someone's going down. Well, if I'm Volkov, I'm thinking, all right, I got to,

you know, play the long game. Keep them at distance because that's, that's one of Tui Vasa's best chances. We don't really see any submissions out of either one of these guys very much. much. They're both really big, heavy-handed strikers. But, you know, if I'm vocal of, I'm thinking, I got to keep distance, keep range, and play the points game a little bit for the first round so I can get him a little tired and open up, you know, my opportunity to really land consecutive shots to put him down. And if I'm Tuibasa, I'm thinking the opposite. I got a close distance. I got, you know, he's got that big donkey punch of an overhand right that he throws all the time. He's got major power and his in his hooks, you know, he's just, he's a good inside fighter and he's going to be trying

to close distance. Yeah, I mean, that's the mindset. If I, you know, if you put, if I put myself in Vokovac shoes and if I put myself in that two officers. You've met Ty Tuvasa, right? Like, you've been around him? Yeah. What's he like?

Is he as cool as he is on TV? Dude, he's, he's so chill. He's so down to earth. So easy going, man. Like, he's definitely the kind of guy you can hang out with before. and after a fight and just vibe out. Please, he's still chill. What's he walking out to?

Like, dude, that takes some Cajunas, man. And like, I mean, he's as game as they come, dude. Like, he will throw down with anyone, and he's let people know that.

Like, obviously, Cyril Gahn and Sergey Pavavov the very top of the division. Like, those are no easy tasks to get past. And before that, I think he had won five straight all by knockout. He's going to have a tough time closing distance because Volkov is doing a really great job of using that lead leg to snap it up. you know, he's throwing some good uppercuts to keep him away. He had to be careful that he doesn't duck into an uppercut from Volkov or a knee or an upkick. Ooh, we just got a looks like a low blow. Do you get a ding, ding, ding kick? I think Ty's all right, though. Yeah, dang. Yeah, you're not kidding, man. Volkov, so far, using the distance well, but that body shot puts some red on Volkov. Ty is just, like, waiting for an exchange to happen.

Yep. That's what you got to do with these guys. Like, they're big power punchers. You've got to, I mean, guys like Ty are dangerous all the way through the fight. They got knockout power from round one to, you know, the end of round three to the end of round five. You always got to be careful. But if you can slow them. down, that's where you're going to have the best advantage of avoiding those big power

shots and really picking your own shots. Yeah, I mean, he's just quietly racking up these significant strikes, too, like tripling him up on the stats. Ty looks like he's aimed more towards the chest than the face. Oh, nice leg kick. He's trying to chop this man down. You got a little blood coming out of Ty's nose there? Oh, good left hand from Ty.

Volkov, just keeping them away. Ooh, nice shot from Volkov. Those leg kicks are. Brutal. Ty's a big boy, man. I know Volkov's feeling those leg kicks. He's got a great poker face, but he's doing a great job of landing those kicks. Nice combo from Volkov.

He's got to get past Volkov's reach, but then also punch upward, which makes it a lot harder to put the power on it. Yeah, a great point by you, man. 10-9 for me, by the way, for Volkov. That's a pretty clear Volkov around there. Yeah, I got to give that to Volkov. Wow, significant strike accuracy for Volkov, 83%. That's insane, dude.
