It's been a pretty fun card so far. I mean, it's really just all building to the main event. Can't wait until we're there. I mean, we're looking great some hockey jerseys, some hockey jerseys. So yeah, I mean, I'm feeling good. We got a little bonus action.

We got Katona Armfield going on right now. Yes. 2024, first watch party of the year. Yes. Feeling good, man. Very competitive fight so far. We'll run down some of the prelim action. Jazz DeVisius.

Shout out to Jasmine, man. What a performance by her. I mean, yes. There's only one way to describe that. That was just a complete and utter beatdown, man. From pillar to post, as they say. Frankie's Parlay Pals pick. Damn right.

This fight is not a beat down. Katona Armfield very, very competitive. Very close. Final 10 seconds of round number two upon us. Yeah. We're going to head to a round three. And a lot of weirdness going on with the scorecards, I got to be honest. A weird split decision earlier.

We had Charles Jordane. We just saw his heart break. That was the weirdest moment of the night. We've listened back to that now multiple times. We missed it, Charles Jordane, during the announcement of the story. scorecards with his fight between him and Sean Woodson. I guess Bruce Woffer said Sean like Sean like with a CH but then he said the sniper Woodson so I really I'm not sure I but they were both confused so maybe in the arena it sounded differently but yeah very

unfortunate for Charles Jordane it reminded me of the movie Zoolander when Ben Stiller's character walked up on stage like you won the model of the year award oh that's wow That's a great call, actually. That's a fantastic call. I wish I had thought of that. That's so bad for him. The moment his heart just shatters when DC's like, guys.

He's waiting for DC and he's just like, yes, yes, yes. And. Unreal. Is there part of him that was like, did I hear that right? Like, did I hear that I won? Man, I don't know. But from, like, judging by our Slack channel,

I cash the Sean Woodson underdog ticket at plus 160. Yeah. So I'm feeling pretty good. And then obviously, the gong is here. Hopefully we get to snatch up. Quite a few people have Armfield up 2018. Oh, okay. That makes me feel good.

But again, the judge has been very wonky. We had a rare 10-7 round in one of the cards. Sal Diomato. Saddam, yes. We were saying it in real time. We were like, this could be a 10-7, that first round. Was it the first round that was scored a 10-7? This was round two.

Oh, wow. Round two. All 10-8s and then the 10-7. Yeah. And then the finish. Fantastic. So we got it one. Oh, yeah.

Yep. There was the finish. I was hoping we were going to get a 30-23. We were super-deeper close. Super-deeper close to that happening. All right. Cotonin gets a takedown, Armfield right back up. Yeah.

Armfield's a good fighter, man. Yeah. Brad Cotona, obviously, the ultimate, ultimate fighter, multiple fighter, whatever you want to call it, two-time champ. This is not the 2-92 fight with Cody Gibson, because that was just a freaking all-out slug fest. Yeah. I mean, this is still like a competitive, like good, solid fight, but...

It's a little more even keeled. Yes. This is probably the most normal fight of the cards. Yeah, yeah, yeah. This is right up Brad Cotonas alley. Absolutely. Cotonos still got him up against the fence. Man.

Well, Michael Chandler is obviously going to say Garrett Armfield. You know, it's his training partner. I mean, everyone's saying Armfield's up 2-0. I mean, you can get him at plus 150 on the live line right now if it peaks your interest. I mean, Chandler, I mean, it's Chandler's teammate. So he's probably like, yeah, 2014. Yeah. I mean, we're just battling.

He's having a hard time getting him to the ground, man. Arnfield's good, man. He's a good fighter. When he starts, when it all comes together, he's going to be a tough debut against who. Onama? Yeah, up away class on two days notice and was competitive for a while until he got darted out of there. But Onama does that to a lot of people in his own division. Oh, good little exchange right there.

Armfield landed a nice combination. Ketona with a nice counter left hand. Oh, good right hand. I mean, when Armfield is throwing combinations and one of those gets down into the old bread basket, that's when he's having the most success. Oh, Ketona's starting to chuck them a little bit. Big breath, big deep breath from Garrett-Armfield. We're having an antenna malfunction over here. Frank, you just hopped in my ear.

It looks like Armfield's going to get right back up from this. Ketona's not doing anything with these takedowns at all. Armfield back to his feet. Get some blood. Someone's bleeding. It's right from Ketona, it looks like. Going for another take-tune.

Down. Minus 300, bad Katona. Well, let's do 20 if you want to get in on old Arnfield. A little home cooking, perhaps. I have no idea. I really don't know who's going to win. It's just too close. I have no idea what these judges are going to do.

Katona has still got that single leg. Arfield's fighting this, man. Yeah, he's doing a good job. A lot of people thought he would be a, he was just going to get run in the wrestling. I thought there was going to be a lot of wrestling success for Katana. Let's see what he could do.

So hopefully, I'm, we're going to talk a lot of. about this main car we're about to watch, which I think is, you know, it's not loaded with superstars, but could be a fun watch. I think there's some good fights. Obviously, the main

card opener between Arnold Allen and Mavzar-Royap rules. There's just a lot happening right now. I just hope, all I'm hoping for, and I do think this is going to be a weird card, I think we're going to come out of this feeling like this is super weird in a lot of ways. You think so. Reelip's got to set the table for it. I just hope we leave here with a much better feeling than we had a month ago coming out of UFC 296 because that is the sluggiest songs. I've almost blocked that out from my memory. That main event, that was something.

I don't think this main event is going to go that way. I think this one is going to be... I really do. I've been saying it all week. I think it's going to be a car crash. I think these guys are going to let it go. Because honestly, if one of them doesn't, the other one will. The other one is going to force it.

So if one of them's not down, which from the way that they've been talking, it feels like they're both down, I think it's going to be a car crash. Here are the scorecards. Cotona. Splitty. All three judges. 29, 28? Let's say, it's got to be Coton.

We'll find out when the cards have been very, very weird. Ramone Tavar's won that fight. Someone gave him round two. Yeah. After getting just battered around

for like four minutes. I guess he had the drop. It was bleeding bad. Yeah, but... Strickland. DDP in the building. Here they go. DDP just, I mean,

just looks like a guy who knows. Like, he's just oozing confidence. Oh, yeah. I mean, it's really incredible. And then Sean Strickland, it's just really... Trying to walk around in Sean Strickland's mind is... I mean, that's an adventure in itself and try to figure out what that man is thinking.

But what did you think about the press conference? Because Sean is very good at these press conferences. He doesn't speak to the media. He gets asked questions and then just talks to the fans, which I think is actually a tactic that every fighter should do to help get themselves over. But the whole, we're going to war, we're going to death, gentlemen's agreements, we're not going to shoot takedowns, all that.

What did you think of that? Would you think this is gamesmanship? Just Sean B. and Sean, did you have any takeaways from that at all? I mean, it got me hyped up. You got me hyped up to hear him talk like that, and the crowd was going crazy, and DDP obviously got up obliged, shook hands. I mean, it got me even more excited for the main event

that I'm already super excited for. You mentioned it earlier. Is he going to get that wish? Is he going to be like, all right, we're just striking? I don't know. I mean, the takedowns are a big part of his game, and he's had a lot of success at the UFC level with him. So I don't know about that, but to me, I really do think these guys are,

I mean, every DDP fight is chaotic. It is crazy. It's fast-paced. There's a ton of action almost the entire time. And I don't think this one's going to be any different. Sean Strickland, just, like, if you're preparing, to fight Sean. You watch his fights, and it's almost always the same, but it seems like as much as you could try to prepare for Sean, it's almost impossible because you're just like, all right,

this is what he's going to do. He's going to march forward. He's going to do the set. Like, it's just, it's right there. You kind of know what he's going to do, but he's just so good at doing what he does that even with the best preparation, getting in there for the first time with a guy like Sean has to be like so tough. Like I think in the first minute of this fight, Drickis is is either going to, you know, have a massive moment that potentially ends the fight, or he's going to be like, this guy is the weirdest guy I've ever been in a cage with. I would actually say you could make the same argument for DDP. DDP is a weird type of fighter that pushes a weird pace and has weird tactics.

I mean, I think you could say the same thing for DDP. I think that's what makes this fight so great. I think that's why it's going to be so high action. I got high hopes for this one, man. I think it's going to be awesome. So the card began with the Canadian parley ending immediately. Oh, the Canadians have not have much success this evening. Let's take a look at me.

Jazz the Vizius won. Katona lost, Charles Jordane lost, Citi lost, Robertson won, Linens lost, Jazzavisian one, Gordon lost. So they are what? Two and five? Two and five. Yep. Wow.

Just the ladies getting the job done. done, but Jimmy Flick looks like he's about to get run over by Malcolm Gordon. Oh my gosh. He just kind of runs out of gas and Jimmy locks up the arm triangle and gets booed out of the building. So flyweight unders are alive. Oh, my God. Our flyweight unders are alive and well.

I was getting a little nervous there, but of course we cashed it. And I do have to say, I mean, I feel like I kind of jinxed the Canadian parlay. Chasing lightning in a bottle. They went 6 in 0 last time out. You knew it wasn't going to happen again. Two and five, though. Did you go full board with it or just the Canadian favorites? I did everyone, but everyone was a favorite except for M.A.B.

So a lot of dogs went right. You didn't put Arnold Allen in there, right? Yeah, I consider Arnold and Alan an Englishman. I know how one who pushes the Canadian agenda. But, I mean, I consider him to be an Englishman. Jazz and Jazz DeVizius, who, by the way, A-plus performance inside the Octagon, I actually bumped her grade overall to an A-plus-plus because she's at her scrum.

she's talking to the media, she takes a sip of water, and then Jasmine Jazz DeVizzias shouts out, these pretzels are making me thirsty from Seinfeld. And immediately an A++, what a performance from Jasmine, Jazz DeVizzi. I watched my first episode of Seinfeld in a while yesterday, the gum episode. Oh, yes.

Legendary, where he's chewing the gum with the guy, like they would just sit and chew gum together. Seinfeld, great show. He's got the glasses, and he handled it. And they make it like, with them go. And they make it like George Costanza's going crazy to that, his old neighbor. Everything works out like he's absolutely psychotic.

in the history of the division. And that includes Valentina Shavchenko putting the boots to the same fighter, Priscilla Kachewara, back in 2018. Sam Patterson moves up to 170. Literally not a beat of sweat on him as he chokes out Johann Lion Ace. Made it look easy, man.

especially against a guy like Lioness that can crack. But yeah, man, great performance. It really did, like, made it look easy. The singing that choke in was slick stuff. Yeah, I think betting against Yohan Lainez, losing by submission, might be a very popular bet. moving forward. Gillian Robertson.

Speaking of, by the way, shout out Jed Bishu has had a dog bet on Sam Patterson, but the bet cash of the prelims goes to you, my friend. Jillian Robertson's second round, TKO. A bet that I actually forgot that I made until we were sitting here in the second round and she started landing elbows and I was like, oh shit, yeah.

It must have just been loud in the arena. What did you think is faceoff yesterday? Sean Strickland, DDP? Strickland didn't even step on the scale. Yeah, Strickland's faceoff is always kind of awkward, you know? Saying something. He's like, I hate doing this. Yeah.
