I am Mike Heck. That is the legend himself, G.C. Connor Burke. Back in the humble abode here. and all NYC.

I missed it a little bit. Vegas is fun. I missed Vegas a little bit, too. It's nice when it's, what, 645 out there right now? Instead of 945, it's a little bit nicer. Yes.

So far, it has been a fun watch, as expected. I know there's not a ton of buzz here. We got a good one going on, a little bonus watch party action here. Joanna Brito, Jack Shore, getting after it. Feather Up Out, featured prelim.

Cheering for Jack Shore, obviously, got to support my boy Tank. a big fan of his and the whole shore crew. But also, you know, I got a Brazilian favorites parlay that's still alive. So, I mean, I feel like I'm emotionally win or financially win, no matter what happens here. Yeah, so I have a couple of Brazilian favorite parlias going on. One is a nine-leggar that if I hit it, I'm going to donate it to... You're fighting a sneeze back bad.

Sorry, I thought we were going to have our first sneeze on the watch party. I feel like I've never sneezed on it. I thought it was going, and then it just faded away. Oh, yeah, yeah. So I have a Brazilian favorites one. If I wait and I'm going to donate. There's an event at the gym I work out at. It shares a parking lot with the church.

And this church parking lot is a disaster. I mean, it is. Potholes everywhere. It's rough. So they had this huge fundraising event that they wanted me to MC. And they're like, Mike, we need you to be here. I was like, just let me know the day. And they're like, it's going to be May 4th.

I'm like, no? Can't come? I don't know if you guys heard, but it's the biggest UFC pay-review since UFC 300. So I'm not going to be able to make it. I can't make it. It's UFC 301. It's just massive. Just look at this fight card.

And as soon as they looked at it from top to bottom, they got it. They got it. I understand, man. So if I hit it, we'll donate that. Obviously, I got Joe Anderson Brito. But save the parking lot, baby. Let's save the parking lot.

It's creative church. If you want to look it up. But so far, so good. Even if I lose all my main card bets, I'm fine because Dracar Close and Mick Debeck Oralby got victories. Shut out. I can kind of chill out here. A pretty big sweat there at the end with,

Oral Bai losing a point. And then Brenner, you know, I mean, he's always got the dog in him. He came alive. It's looking like there was a chance at a draw, but then I wish we were live for this, because we're in here, obviously watching the fights before we go live here, and you're like with like 10 seconds to go,

Brenner's standing there like a zombie, and you're like, drop up, knock him down, knock him down, and then sure enough, Oral By, boom. Lands a big one, knocks him down, essentially secures the fight and gets it done for you. Cyber relief. So, oh, this is fun. little head kick. Oh, they're going at it, man. Jack Shore is shucking him right now. Brito did Brito things early, but Shores got a little bit of momentum, but now Brito's got the double underhooks.

That shark tattoo on Brito's back is... It's unbelievable. It's crazy, man. It's one of the, it's one of the memorable tattoos on the roster right here. I didn't even know he had. This must be a new piece, because how have we not noticed that? Yeah, I was going to say, it's big, takes up the whole back. It's like the San Jose Sharks logo, like from my old starter cap that I had in like 19, 91. Gosh, man, big takedown from Brita. What do you think of featherweight, Jack Shore? So we've only seen him against McWan-American.

And last time I'm in Bantamweight, I mean, I was at that fight against Ricky Simone, and like he just got manhandled. It's like the difference in physicality, the difference in power of Ricky Simone was jarring in that one. So I kind of felt right to like maybe try and size up a little bit, but this is a great test. Because, like, if he can't handle a Joy Anderson Brito, like, it's tough sledding.

Yeah. I mean, he's still young. He wins a lot. Doesn't get knocked out. So, like, I don't know. I don't know how to feel about it. This is a tough matchup, man. Brito's a savage, and he's fighting him in Brazil.

Brito's just throwing a thousand miles an hour every single shot he's throwing. I'm not going to lie, but beside the early flurry, like, Shores handling himself pretty well. he's taken i mean he's he's been hit a lot like he's hanging in there he's hanging in there that left leg is i was i was worried that that like the the physicality of joannison was going to be like overpowering for him but yours definitely stepped up the aggression here i know jed talks oh look at his leg dude it's it's oh wow yeah the shin is

literally blood dripping down it wow 25 leg kicks already landed by joyness and brito and we're not even halfway through this fight yet I mean, the toughness of Jack Shore, shout out, doing us a favor here, just carrying us all the way up to the main card. Yes, I mean, we love that. We love that. Spot normally reserved for a Belal Muhammad fight. Yeah, and Belal Muhammad fight,

or just dumb banter as we try and Phil talking about the card. Yes, but so far so good. And main card, a lot of Brazilian favorites on the main card. A lot of Brazilian favorites throughout this one. I do feel like there, I mean, I have never seen a UFC page. Damn, Jack Shore's leg is bleeding, bro. It looks like he got hit by a shark. Yes.

My goodness, man. That is crazy. Wow. There's, like, very little buzz for this pay-per-view. Can you remember of all the watch parties you've done? 289? But I feel like there was still some buzz there because Olivero was fighting Benile Darius,

and that was, like, a high-stakes fight with meaning winners probably getting a title fight. There's, like, none of that. Not enough to carry it. Not enough to carry. That card was getting ripped a little bit like this one. I guess I'm not even seeing people, at this one, though, because there really is just, yeah, not a ton of excitement.

But I've been seeing ESPN promo in it out the wazoo. I mean, anytime I've been watching SportsCenter this week or any other, like, NHL playoffs, they've been promo it. Yeah, you got it. They've been throwing it out there. It's like Pantosia, UFC 301. Oh. Wow.

Go to the dock. Look at this thing, man. This, I don't know if I've ever seen anything quite like. It's like a bit by a frigging snake. going down this dude's leg right now. Like, it is thick red. Oh, my gosh. The doctor is like so ridiculous.

It looks like you got shot in the shin. Dude, you got to stop it. You've got to stop it. Oh, my God, we're going to see it actually happen. They're showing the replay. Let's see it. Dude, he is literally sticking his finger in Jack Shore's leg. It's over.

Joe. Brito wins by gunshot wound from a, Holy cow. Oh my Lord. And the parlay rolls forward? And the parley rolls for it? Sure, yeah, Brazilian favorite parlay. This is the one I was like...

Who's going to cost us now? Who's going to cost us? Come on. Enjoy the triumphs as they come. My worry, Frank, is there is three, like, massive favorites to start out the main card and, like... You see him going to carry it off like that?

There's just one that I worry about. And poor Jack Shore, dude. Oof. Also, my nine-leger has Joe Zeyaldo. on the end of it. Oh, see, I don't have Jose Aorta entered. I have just all the favorites.

That puts it over the time. But I do have a big bet on Joseo, though. Wow, let's see this again. Oh, my gosh. It looks like he was, like, already had a scab there, and it's like he got... We're not seeing the moment

where, like, just breaks open. Oh. Is it a toenail? It literally looks like he got shot in the shin. Horrendous, dude. But was it, like, his big toenail? I don't know.

I don't know if it was like that that tape over his, over his leg. That's wild. That is wild, dude. I'm sure there are people watching this right now that can probably like pinpoint a date in a time where somebody's leg like, I don't remember the last time I saw anything like that. Can you make a throwback to that shark tattoo in his bag? Yeah. How much more relevant it is now?

That was, it's got that blood. That was like really, that was, I've never seen. The fact that the doctor walked in and just, like, stuck his entire finger in it, they teach you that in medical school? They're like, when you see a hole, just... There's a mysterious Frank joining. Oh, yeah, what's up, Frank? What did you think about that?

It's pretty intense. Yeah. Did you ever see forgetting Sarah Marshall? Oh, yeah. Where he got bit by the jellyfish or whatever, and he's like, yeah, I'm okay there. It's just a flesh wound. And then... It just like...

Yeah, he starts because he faints. It was kind of like... like that. Oh my gosh, man. That was crazy. That was, geez. All right, we get, I mean, there's something stuffed in his shin, for sure. Man. I mean, he's hanging in there like a tough man. He's like, yeah, I mean, what can he do, bro? Joannis and Brito gets it done. Have any of the Brazilians last yet? Yeah, two of them. Uh, Silva and Brenner, yeah. Yeah, Brenner. To make the back Oral by who's just... He's a person. He's a problem.

Dude is a problem. He's a problem. Good win for Joe Anderson. This guy's got something. He's fun to watch. Very, very fun. In this loading... Gunshot to the shin, K.O.

A first for our watch party. That was crazy, man. That was truly crazy. See? It's gonna be one of those events. I like... Let's see what Joe Anderson says. Will we have a callout?

I don't know. Who does he call out? Bryce Mitchell. I'm down for that. Joe Anderson. I'm down for that. Call him out. Let's see what he says.

He's very happy, obviously. So thus far, victories from Alessandro Costa. All favorites. All favorites rolling on to the main card. Bishopiel Bond theme. Deona Barbosa, which kind of scared the hell out of me a little bit. Mauricio Huffy, Dracar Close, Biktebeck, Oralbae, Yasmin Lucindo, and Joy Anderson Brito.

Most impressive performance thus far. Maricio Huffy looked fantastic. though it felt like a favorable matchup. He wins exclusively by knockout. Jim Malarke, he's been knocked out five, six times in his career. It felt like the math is there for it. Yasmine Lucendo looked great, though that was the biggest age gap in women's MMA history, they said,

during the fight. Yep. Previous one, by the way, was Roxanne Mottifery versus Macy Barber. Okay, shout out to that one. Great scrap. Great scrap. Yeah, I'm going to go with Huffy.

Though Oral By looked fantastic as well to get a point taken away and win unanimous, 2927. Showed some really solid hands tonight, too. Yeah. So I'll go Oral By and then Huffy behind him. Oral By is going to be a problem. Sure. For a very long time. He's only 26 and he's raw.

But he's like so skilled, but he's just a little green, a little reckless in there. But once he comes, once that guy puts it together, He is going to be fighting. Drennes and Brito going hard, screaming something, and then tries to go out of the wrong exit. Oh, let's see if he had a call out. Not just an excited man. Just an excited man.

We respect that. Good win for Geronis and Brito. Paul Craig getting ready to fight Kyle Bahalio in the main card opener. We got Michelle Pereira looking to get one back for Shogun Hua against the duelist. Ehor Potieri, Anthony Smith, Vitor Petrino, Jonathan Martinez, Jose Aldo, and then the main event, Alexander Pantoja versus little Stevie Erseg. And you got the Brazil going on. I am rocking the Steve Erseg.

Best Buy. Sugarloaf stand face-off polo here. Like, this is what he'll wear to the post fight. Something with some sort of logo, because what he wore to the first face-off? No logo. I was going to say, I don't think he had any logo or anything on the first one. It was just as generic as you could possibly get, which is fitting. for him. I mean, I love it. It's amazing. If he shows up to the Post-Py Presser

with like a Hawaiian shirt and a mustache, fake mustache and sunglasses and a fun hat, Vinnie Sig's will be born right in front of our eyes. Yeah, I feel like I love how he showed up in the blue polo, looked as if it was Best Buy one day, and then he shows up the next day in the Rio soccer jersey

that looks like a foot locker employee. And it's just, it's just great, man. Him being champion would be the most insane thing ever. It would be. Because of how short of a run it took, it took them less than a year, would have taken him four UFC fights.

And you just don't see that with a guy like him. It's usually highly touted prospects, guys with massive personalities. And then there's Steve Versaig, baby. Didn't even call for the title shot. He called for Bradenemoreno. He's ranked the title by before Balab. Before Rob DeMoss. Number 10 ranked Steve Versaig going into Brazil.

Look at him. Look at him. picture. He's a normal-assuming fighter on the roster. He knows it. He's an unassuming looking guy. There's Jonathan Martinez. Jason House in the back.

Chris Gutierrez in the back. Chris Gutierrez and John Lennemortez, a leg-kicking duo. And there's Jose Albaugh. Jose Althe with the Scarface shirt. We're the Scarface tank top earlier this week. I love it. Oh, boy. I feel very good.

There he is. He's Segg, of course. Look at him. You knew he'd be rocking just like the UFC fight kit that they gave him. Comcolle. Backpack. Just like looking chill, Pantosia. Pantoja with a $125 t-shirt.

I love it. I love it. Maybe some chinos there tucked in. I mean, he's looking ready to roll. He's looking ready to roll, man. Comco, cool, collection. Oh, yeah, it looks happy. Main eventing in Brazil, trying to defend his title.

What more can you ask for? I'm actually, like, I understand why this has no buzz. But as someone who is here and is going to sit down and watch these fights, I'm pretty damn excited. I think this is going to be a very fun watch. I think this will be not $2.97. This has no buzz in terms of, like, getting past the hardcore bubble, like, the hardcore fan bubble. Like, my friends are definitely not texting me being like, what are the picks for tonight?

Like, oh, man, like, what fight are we looking forward to most? Like, they were for 300. It's just, like, it's just such a juxtaposition to go from 300 to this. And we knew this was coming because. 98, 99, and 300 were all bangers. Bangers stacked up. We knew, like, there had to be a dip

to, like, get back to super sick cards, and we get right back there. I mean, next card's pretty great. It's pretty damn good. Justin, Paulo-O-Shon Strickland. Five rounds there, too. There's some good fights, and then 303, you got the Mac.

What more can you want? Like, if they did, if this card, if you were doing no-bats barred next week for UFC St. Louis, and this was the lineup for UFC St. Louis. This is a really solid fight night. This is a damn good fight night.

This is a solid fight night. It really is just, it's tough to go from the pay-per-views that we had in February, March, and April to this, yeah. It's just an unfair position to be in, honestly. Jose Aldo is obviously a massive star legend to the game. Like, he has that name recognition, but, like, I just don't know if he's getting the casual fan to sit down. Like, the guy that buys every single pay-per-view, he might be skipping this one.

I think 10% of the every single buyer, is not watching this tonight. They're not watching. I would go to say that it's higher. Really? Okay. Does this do 125,000 buys? I think it has to.

I think that that's like the bare minimum. There really, there hasn't, there has not been much buzz around this at all. There's been zero. They didn't even do a press conference. I don't remember a pay-per-view, at least in the last like three years that had so little buzz.

And I don't even think this is like, from a like, fans perspective, like as somebody who likes watching fights and has to watch them every weekend, there have been worse paper. Like, $2.97 to me was, I looked at that car and was like, the main event could be good, but the rest of this car could be just awful. Like, it was that fight and the Arnold Allen, Mobs are of Loyafelara. I was like, okay, these fights are good, but these other three, this could be a long-ass night.

Well, I was about to say, remember that was a long-ass night. The longest watch party. The second-longest watch party of all time outside of the French. Sanganu, Anthony Joshua one that we did before 299. Yeah, and then obviously now UFC 300. But yeah, I don't know, man. I mean, there's not... Josie Aldo is fighting Jonathan Martinez, who, like, is a great fighter,

but he really is, like, has zero name recognition outside of real, like, UFC MMA weekly fans. And then Steve Urseg, like, my roommate this morning was like... Erseg? Is that how you pronounce it? Steve Erseg? I was just like, yeah, yep. Like, just like, a year ago, none of us know who he was.

He's become the darling of the week, though. Of course, yeah. Amongst fans, yeah, of course. It's, yeah. God, if he gets it done, it'd be absolutely incredible. It will be. It will be. I mean, I see some people being like, I think Steve, I saw a comment on some ESPN NMA post this week that was like, I think Steve Irsa can take the Flyweight Division

to New Heights if he wins this. And I'm like, we think so? This is the guy? I think, like, I'm curious to see. From Massey Arena. Did they change it? I guess they change the name. I'm curious to see, like, where he goes with a win.

Because he's going to go to Perth and be the co-made event in August if he wins the belt. And he's going to get a big pot. He's from Perth. So he's, like, he's not going to be, like, a star. But he's going to be just, like, one of those really truly likable. dudes. I mean, he's blowing up a decent amount. So he came on the MMA hour a few months ago. I remember that. And when he came on, yeah, people were like, why is this guy on? Is that the Disney World one? Yeah, yeah, yeah. We had like no Wi-Fi. Yeah, shitty Wi-Fi.

And we were like, damn, Steve, like, one shot coming on here. Still better than Joachim Buckley's appearance, by the way. Had like 6,000 followers on Instagram. Because, like, I always, like, research these guys before they come on pretty heavy on their socials and I was like well he has got uh like like I was like he has fewer followers than me on Instagram and like he's could potentially be in line for a title soon he is blowing up now though 46,000 I bet if he wins he goes over 100 but like to see a UFC champion like with that small of a following but like he's also new to new to the fans he made his debut less than a year ago I don't which is which is just insane but uh yeah I don't know

It's a UFC pay review. I'm here for it. It's in Brazil. I think the crowd's going to be hype. I think it's going to be fun. It's not going to do a ton of buys. I don't think much content surrounding it is going to do a ton of views. And we're going to have fun.

We're going to enjoy it. We get a championship fight. We get a Jose Aldo fight. Probably the last time we'll ever see him in a UFC octagon for sure. In front of a Rio crowd. And we'll move on with our lives. And we'll head on to St. Louis. Get us some barbecue and look to U.S.

See 302. Back to, I mean, what better way to follow a pay-per-view? We got a Robles... Did a Rodrigo Nassimento made event? No, we got a Robillus

the Spain fight next week. That's what I'm most looking forward to. God, they should have done Alex Pereira versus Robelus on this card. Like, he wants to play

at heavyweight, let's just give him Rebellus. That'd be amazing. That'd be incredible. Be absolutely incredible. All right, so you think Steve Ursek is knocking Alejandar Pantoja out tonight.

I mean, look, I listed to O Bet's bar. You understand the Viti SIG at this point, the gimmick and everything that's come down to. So I just kind of have to go with it at this point. But I do feel like if Vinny wins,

he's not, it has to be by knockout. And I know Pantosha is like the most durable dude in the light of a week guy. He doesn't get knocked out. I get it. But if this fight gets to round three, Pantosia's going to just cruise. Like even if he gets super tired and we saw it in the Roy Val fight,

he just finds ways to get this fight to the floor. Yeah. And one of the things that I found very interesting about the breakdown of this fight is like, well, if Ersai keeps it standing, like he'll win, but if Pantosia gets to the ground, like Ersig has no chance. I don't know if that's necessarily true.

Like, Ersing's actually pretty good on the ground. Yeah, and I don't know if Steve Erseg keeps it standing if he's automatically going to win. Yeah. Like, I think people have a tendency to get fooled a little bit by Pantosja's boxing, especially when it gets in the later rounds, he does get sloppier.

Yeah. And people are like, oh, he's gassed out. but like he beat Roy Val 49-46. Like he looks gassed out. He can still time a takedown better than maybe anybody in the UFC even when he's gassed. And that's what makes him scary. And there's Jose Aldo.

Hall of Fame, inductee, modern wing, 31 and 8. 10-54 local time, there he is. He looks ready to go. He looks ready. I mean, he's got so much more at stake here than Jonathan Martinez. It's not even funny. Going into free agency, like the world could be his oyster.

All he needs to do is win and get a pop. It's got to be huge. By the way, I'm curious to see what the crowd looks like come the end of the night because we had Guillermo Cruz on the People's Pre-Fight Show. There is a free concert in Rio, Madonna. Madonna. Beach. And Guillermo was telling me they're expecting 1.5 million people.

What? It's a free show on the beach in Rio. As this fight card is going on, They're expecting one and a half million people to go to this concert. Madonna is doing a free concert? This is crazy. Like right now. She's doing a free concert right now on the beach in Rio.

Wow. She showed up. What do you think about that, Frank? Let's see. I tried to see Madonna Coachella 2006, and she didn't show off. I mean, Frank is always snacking back there, man. I swear, every time he hops on there, it's just food and his mouth. He's just working through something.

That's a lot of people. That looks overwhelming. That is so many people. Shout out to Madonna. Shout out to... She may have not showed up for Coachello 6, but she showed up for Rio de Janeiro 2024. All the way they. In a big way.

So essentially what they're saying is his leg, the bone broke the skin, and that's why he bled that much. That's insane. That's horrifying. Damn, dude. All right, here we go. All right, we got some action.

Caya Wallet-Paul Craig. Blonde Paul Craig. Tremendous media to Instagram, by the way, from Paul Craig, talking about how he had, got drunk and attempted a bunch of backflips, and one of which he landed right on his face, and he predicted that if he knocks out Caio Bahalio,

he's going to land a backflip tonight for the first time in front of people. I genuinely, I mean, I genuinely worry about these three. Now that, like, I have that nine-leg Brazilian favorite parlay plus, like, 2,000-something, and it's still alive onto the main card, and now, like, the three biggest favorites are up, I worry for them.

I worry for them. Because Paul Craig is dangerous no matter what. I understand that, like, Kyle should win this. I think he's got the ground skills to avoid getting subbed. If he shows up, man. You know, should win as well, but there's just, like, is Anthony Smith past his prime? Or, like, is he going to be able to pull something out

and, like, just dog the fight? And then Michel Pereira is the one I'm most confident in. But then on the flip side of that, the dual. He's also, like, the most likely to, like cost himself to fight. He's going to gas himself up, walking to the cage. Let's see. Let's see. Let's see.
