I mean he's got a nice big TV here he's got it HD some drinks uh I mean it's good this is really like a watch party rather than a normal production but we got lights we got cameras and we got we got new fights we got new fights getting made tonight first of all Joe Piper just destroyed Mark Andre yes yeah it doesn't yeah it doesn't yeah doesn't look good for MAB right flatline, completely flatlined. But in case you guys have been living under a rock for the last half an hour, there's a new co-main event for this card, not for next week or two weeks from now. There's a new co-main event for UFC 303.

Brian Ortega sick, had a little bit of a fever, is not fighting Diego Lopez in a lightweight boat. Instead, Diego Lopez is remaining on the card and he is fighting Danny Gay. It's unbelievable. 50 freaking K. It's unbelievable. 165 pound catch weight. The way the UFC production and ESPN production handled this announcement was absolutely legendary.

I mean, you started seeing the murmurs on Twitter. You started seeing it kind of leaking out that this might be happening. And, you know, we were talking here. We were like, there's just no way. Like, this is, this cannot be happening. Like, Danny Gay is going to drive across town and step in on hours notice, not even day, not even like he found out this morning or anything, like hours notice this guy's stepping in by messaging Hunter Campbell.

Yo, I'm hearing about Ortega, I'll step in and fight Diego Lopez. And sure enough, they're able to do a weigh in backstage tonight, 165 pound catch weight. It's unbelievable. How did you get your wig to look like that? Yours really looks like Diego Lopez's hair. I kind of look like a guy. I look like a boy band guy. You really look like Diego Lopez.

It's like Rafi. Yeah, this is, I don't know how he. did the do i need to turn it around i mean we gotta say like it's a bad day to be bold here i mean these these lights are pretty brutal and like our heads are just shining so we gotta we gotta need these

these lopez wigs but uh oh yeah we'll have to have those for the co-main of that i mean supporting you want to be a bmf i mean you might as well just put the the 145 bmf belt on the line for this one just create one for one sixty five like just do the 165 bm you know what create the 165 division at this point as well with fight. Is this the way that they do it? Is this how they announce the 165 division? No, no, you can't do

that, but we can't have some fun with this. So the Pavey for your main card is going to start in a little bit. Normally, at least like the last few watch parties, we've had the feature pre-lived to watch, but Joe Piper just went out and iced them. Be Joe Piper. He sure did. Huge bounce back for him. I felt like that was coming. I felt very confident in him getting it done tonight. and he sure did, man. He sure did it. How do you feel about the stick, Mike? I feel like we're like live news reporters right now.

I feel like this is a- Reporting live from Atlanta, Georgia, or UFC 303. Yeah, I feel like we should have like some flags or something. It's going to be interesting when something crazy happens. Like, we're going to have these in our hands. I don't know what I'm going to do with it. But alas, this should be a fun card. I mean, the prelims, we started out with four decisions,

but there were still some pretty good fights, and then they just got better and better as the fight. Did we, did we finish? No, no, no, I was going to say that we finished with four straight finishes, but the Cubs Fonson fight went to a decision. Which is a fun fight. Covey thought on that one. Very close. Both you guys on Cubs.

Let's take a look at Jed real quick, if we could, because Jed's had a tough night at the gambling window so far. There he is. Look at this camera operation here. A couple of dog picks that went to splities that you arguably could have won Jed, Andrea Lovsky and Cubs Swanson. I don't know what to tell you, buddy. I'm sorry. I lost the cubby one day. Oh, I know the pain.

I said to you guys, I'm glad I'm not on Cub Swanson here because it would automatically mean that he would lose this fight. And sure enough, he did, I would have continued my split decision losing ways. And I know that hurts. I know that hurts bad. But yeah, it feels like, it feels early right now, 9.53, and we're waiting on the main card to start. Normally we are sweating out this featured prelim here.

The stories it could actually tell would be unbelievable. And now it goes through the UFC 303 watch party. It sure does. It sure does.

We have to have some firsts, some different adventures. But for this adventure continuing on for the microphone, an adventure came to an end for the karate-hadi. Michelle Waterson. Yes. Her career is over. She announced her retirement after, I mean, we can't mince words. She got absolutely run over by Jillian Robertson tonight and called it a career. UFC did the thing where they played the tribute video to Michelle Watterson.

And shout out to Michelle Watterson because she accomplished a lot and she did so in a weight class that was well above which you probably should have been fighting in. she was if the ufc had an atomweight division that's where michelle watson would have fought her entire ufc run but she did so up at strawweight had some good wins went a little bit of a run she headlined some papers not papers but just fight night cards tough go over the last several fights for her but game as they come was in big trouble could have been finished multiple times but made it to the final horn and now her career comes to an end shout out to you michel water yeah i think i think rightfully so i think it was a good time for it to come to an

had lost seven of her last eight, I believe it was. So, I mean, it feels like a good time, especially after coming off a loss like that. It felt like she knew what she, what she was doing going into the fight,

to have the production piece built up, everything ready to go. I think it was probably smart of her to call it a career. But shout out to her. Shout out to her. It had some great moments throughout the UFC. The video piece was well put together. And, you know,

on to the next phase. on to the next phase. You know, she's got plenty to do. She's, you know, does a great job on social media. She's family woman. She's a mom, the fight mom. And happy trails to her. Happy trails, man.

Happy trails. Joe Waters. Big win for Jillian Robertson, though. She's now two in a row. A couple of dominant performances. I think the word Joe Rogan and D.C. continue to say throughout the broadcast and throughout the fight was, Gillian Robertson is evolving as a fighter, but she seems more, quote, unquote, dangerous in there.

and she was pretty ruthless man but she got full mount she was dropping elbow after elbow but then she kind of would do the McKenzie Dern thing where she would just go for the submission even though she could have just been punching and elbowing and probably would have got the finish but Julian Robertson's record now 12 and 8 I think it is. Is it?

13 and 8? Something like that yeah. It's something that every time I see it I'm just like man I could have sworn she had way more wins than this I feel like her win percentage is so high I feel like every time I watch her fight, she has a performance like she did tonight against Michelle Waterson, and I just forget the losses. 14 and 8, 14 and 8. I love this. I mean, normally Frank is behind a wall so we don't have to look at him.

He can't like just naturally chime in like that. Oh, no, both of them. Wow. Get out of it. Producer extraordinaire turns interior decorator. He's going to have to get those flags back up. I mean, this is just, this is blue collar. This is blue collar.

I mean, we are long were the days ago, the UFC 300 watch party in the, in the suite on the Vegas strip. We are now the Michoud Mansion not quite giving us the same treatment. You know, it's just us three. We had a whole team back in, I mean, back in Vegas, we had a whole team that was just sitting to our right. We were getting coffees delivered to us. I mean, we were living lavish. Now it's just the three of us, knuckleheads, Casey on the on the production, just trying to, trying to make it here.

I mean, we're doing it. I mean, this main card can start anytime and wants. I feel like once we get into the fights, we're going to be rolling. But right now, sitting on old Jed's couch, just killing time. It's great. I mentioned this on the, at the beginning of the People's Prefight show, this, these graphics right here are unreal. I love them.

For some reason, this, if you either have the main card up or if you've just seen the poster out the week, the like yellow tinted. elected Alex Pereira and Yuri Prohashka deal as we lose the Brazilian flag once again. I feel like these are so much better suited for Yuri and Alex than they were for Connor and Chandler. Oh, so much better. Conner and Chandler looked like they were like going through radioactive waste. Like Yuri and Alex, like this just like looks natural for them.

Yeah. Look at Yuri. It's like he's, this is what he does when he gets up in the morning. It's amazing. He's yelling at himself, telling him, telling himself to get through the day. do the hard thing, things that other people would not do. And then he just goes and does it. That's just the face of an absolute maniac.

And then you have Alex Pereira who is just Alex Pereira. I mean, there's no other way to describe him. He is Poetan, Shama, et cetera. There you go. Michael, the Michoud mansion is the UFC Apex, reliable, cost-effective, intimate. Yeah. I mean, I guess that's a plus is that we can see the comments that Casey puts up. Yeah, that is accurate.

This is, we are at the apex right now. Oh, we got to change of a screen. That means we're about to get rolling here. If us in New York is like a pay-per-view at like T-Mobile Arena, Vegas would be like a fight night. This is the UFC Apex. Oh, yeah. Cost effective is a good way to put it.

I mean, also when we're in New York, we're in like this like insulated, like real deal studio. We're up on the high up in a New York side scraper. I am five feet away from outside. I could be outside in zero seconds. Like this is, if someone comes and rings Jed's doorbell, like we are done for. You could reach right over and open the door. Yeah, I could probably open the door.

I mean, we got Jed walking in the back, like, after he just went to the bathroom. This is the first of many stickups there. I mean, we might have to, you know, nail those, glue them up. I mean, Jed's walls are going to be destroyed after tonight, just for the sake of a couple flags. It's the world's most famous apex of watch parties. Yeah, I don't know if you heard that. The Mishou Mansion has been officially dubbed the UFC Apex of watch parties. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. We're surviving here. I mean, a nice low angle, too, just coming right in. You know, we're just spreading. Go right to the camera. I mean, it's good stuff. We have a to-do list using actually putting the camera on like a little bit of a lean.

We have a to-do list slid underneath the camera. Yeah. I mean, we're just getting out of the game. It's makeshift, man. It's makeshift, but we're going to last. And we're going to have a great time tonight. We're going to do. Scrappy.

This is the main event that you invite the friends over for and you're like, you got to come over tonight. It's going to be such a sick fight. And you know that it's going to deliver. Like you call the friends over, you hype it up all night. And then when it happens, it actually delivers. I mean, this is the card that you do it for. that Alex Pereira almost cheated in the first fight with his spiritual Yeah, yeah. Black magic, shamans. But like, the way Yeri is saying it, it's not like you're a jerk, you're a cheater.

this entire fight week is the back and forth. And not only just Yeri's saying what he's saying, but the way Alex has responded to it. Oh, it's so good. It's so good. All right. All right.

It's just dead silent. Just the three of us just, we're just out here, raw dog. And I see John Anick, but I can't out hear what he's saying. I'm doing a little lip reading.

The co-main event is not. the same yeah there is exactly exactly yes if you couldn't hear jemishio up mike yeah uh the the trend of raw dogging flights comes to uh watch parties now we are we are raw dog in this thing it's it's a good time it is a good time john anick looking looking great joe rogan looking even better daniel cormay just a trio of bald men two bald men watching a trio of bald men it's just it's good it's good it's good stuff. This main event is very, very interesting. It's on pretty short notice for both guys. Alex Pereira with two broken toes, Yuri Perashka, obviously taking this on the same amount of notice, but lost the first fight. Got...

He's dealing with my... I just. It's right. Crawl this way through. Amazing stuff. But I kind of, like, it's just such weird matchmaking right now because these two dudes... or, it's not like Islam and Volk, right? Because Volk saved the day, comes in, has to go in there and fight Islam, Machachev, was a rematch, et cetera. But this, like, these two guys were going to fight this year.

They were already, like, ready to fight. There were talks about them fighting in Perth. They step up on this short of notice, and they're going to go in there and do the thing. So does the short notice in your eyes favor one fighter over the other, or do you feel like it's just the same thing? It's going to be the same sort of fight as the first fight. maybe a little bit more reckless because of the short notice nature,

not a lot of changes in the game plan. What do you think? I mean, it may have an effect. I mean, if I'm thinking of any effect, I mean, it might be the broken toast for Alex Pereira and the fact that he was traveling the world in Australia. I mean, literally on the entire other side of the planet when he got the call about this,

whereas Yiri, who supposedly got the news a week prior to when Alex found out, and he was in training camp in his shed wherever he was out in Chetia, that might favor him. but these dudes are as game as they come. It's not like they're not training, even when they're not in a fight camp. They're too high-level finishers. I don't think it's going to have a massive effect on the fight.

No, I mean, I guess I would favor Yeri just because he found out sooner and he was, like, training, per se, but I don't know. I think someone is going to get finished here, and I don't think the short notice is going to make that big of a difference. Going back to the game planning,

I think, Yuri's been saying all week, I'm not doing anything different. The way I fought the first time, I'm going to fight. He had a lot of success. He had a lot of good moments, and then he got caught. Do you think that's not the right thing to do here? He has next to no defense. His defense is just to accept getting hit and just keep working through it,

which is never a good plan against a guy in Alex Breyer. They can put your lights out at any moment. Who is a freaking monster? Like, look at this. Both these guys are monsters. I couldn't love this fight anymore. I mean, these dudes are just, this is, this is, like the fight run this thing a hundred times i'm watching it every single time i just don't see how it

doesn't deliver they're always in exciting fights they're always in huge moments i i just love it i just love it man alex perrara the fact that he made 185 is insane did you see him reweigh today two 30 insane two 30 it's nuts man absolutely nuts that fight is huge we talked about the new cobbate event. Diego Lopez versus Danny Gay. There it is right there. 165. Absolutely insane. Craziness that this is happening. I mean, if Danny Gay wins, this

is going to be one of the most badass things we've ever seen. Halting the Diego Lopez hype train that is running hot right now. I mean, three straight wins of like 90 seconds or less and stepping in on just hours notice would be one of the most unbelievable things. Huge spot form to 303 International Fight Week. If

you don't watch the sport and now you're seeing and learning who Danny Gay is, you're like oh, that's the guy that stepped in on like two hours notice. Like, that dude is a badass. And then we got Ian Machado, Gary versus MVP that's going to kick things off to me. I can't wait for that one. Purple shorts. The most high stakes fight on the card outside of the main event, obviously.

Because there's a lot online here. Now, Diego Lopez can still get a lot out of this win. Sure. I think now that it's not Brian Ortega, I think no questions asked. It's the second highest stakes fight on the card. No doubt about it. Definitely. MVP

it's such an intriguing matchup I want this fight to be fun so bad I like nothing would make me happier than these two dudes just getting into the pocket and slugging it out I just don't know if that happens because I feel like if MVP is going to win

it's going to look almost exactly like the Kevin Holland fight and if he and Gary wins it's almost going to look exactly like the Jeff Neal fight you know what I mean? Yeah yeah I in my opinion it can go either way. I think it's a 50-50 coin flip on whether or not it's just kind of like a striking battle that isn't high volume or they start scrapping and it gets really exciting.

I think it's just flip a coin and we just have to see what we're going to get. I'm not giving up hope that it's not going to be sick. I hope it is. Even if it's not like fight of the night material, I still think it's a fascinating watch. It's also going to be exciting and high tension because of the stakes involved and because of how talented both guys are. Shout out to the production team on UFC.

They were just showing a Dan Ege knockout highlight package. So shout out to them to get that one ready on short notice. As short notice as Dan Ege. They're so good. What is the prediction for this new co-main event? Michael's asking,
