MMA Fighting - UFC 332 Post-Fight Show | Reaction To Natalia Silva's Title Win, Knockouts Galore

Episode Date: October 4, 2026

Natalia Silva is the brand new UFC women's flyweight champion after she outlasted Wang Cong in the main event of UFC 332, but there's no doubt that the shadow of Valentina Shevchenko looms largely ove...r the division, and Silva's championship reign. But Silva did get Shevchenko to break her silence, and vowed to return to try and reclaim what she feels is rightfully her's. Following UFC 332, MMA Fighting's Mike Heck and Jed Meshew react to the event, Silva's clear-cut win over Wang, and interest levels in a Silva vs. Shevchenko matchup. Additionally, they discuss Payton Talbott running over Deiveson Figueiredo with ease in the co-main event, King Green continuing his protest of the stoppage loss to Esteban Ribovics, Roberto Soldic's octagon debut, other standout moments and performances, UFC broadcasters having a victory lap after the event, and more. Hello there, everybody. Hope you're all doing wonderful on this Saturday night at 11.09 p.m. Eastern Time. How about that for a numbered events?
Starting point is 00:02:50 We are live on the UFC 332 post-fight show, those victory horns sound for the brand new UFC women's flyway champion of the world, Natty Ice, Natalia Silva, via unanimous decision defeating Wang Tong in the main event. Peyton Talbot runs over the ghost of Davis and Figurado and other things happen along the way. By the way, record-setting night at UFC 332. We'll get there in a moment. But joining me to react to all things, UFC 332, Mr. No Gray area himself. He is back.
Starting point is 00:03:31 He scored the fight for Wang Tong. He's the one of the whole-in-lawful-in-lawed with you. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. Say, don't put that, don't put that bad news out there. I did not. How are we doing?
Starting point is 00:03:42 How are we feeling? Good. I mean, it's not even, it's 11 and the fights are done. I had a fun time. I think this event is what we thought it was, right? That there would be some fun things. A lot of empty calories for the fun,
Starting point is 00:03:57 you know, not a lot of meaning. And even with the main event, like that's sort of the thing. That's sort of the deal here. When you're going to load the undercar, with cheap calories, right? Just candy.
Starting point is 00:04:08 And that's what, Damien Pino's killing me is candy. You hope for there to be some, there needs to be a main course. There needs to be something like a real sandwich to have for lunch. You can't just eat Skittles. And then our main course is that. And while that fight was better than I thought,
Starting point is 00:04:25 honestly, in some respects and not a terrible time. Like, nobody will look at that. That's one of the worst fights I've ever seen. None of that. It still is like, what does it mean? What does it mean that Natalia Silva holds the undisputed UFC women's flyweight title? It's certainly a bit murky. And so kind of a weird card, but not a bad one.
Starting point is 00:04:48 I had a good enough time. I don't think we'll spend too much time thinking about this card in the coming weeks and months. Probably spend more time talking about the announcements made during the card. But not a bad time. It's 11. So I love that. Yes. And guess what, Jed?
Starting point is 00:05:05 We heard from Valentina Shofchenko tonight. She tweeted out a day ago, Champions Look were beauty meets strength, and she had this thing on. She hashtag the UFC and hashtag champion looks. And then 10 minutes ago, as we are live here, Valentin Shetchenko took to Twitter. I know everyone loves us when people say took to Twitter.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Here's what Valentina Shepchenko had to say. Hey, Natalia, I'm coming for that. No, I'm just kidding. Well-deserved, Natalia. Congratulations. my pleasure to know that UFC champion's belt is now holding deserving martial artists such as you are. Very nice. But then, Jed, she says, but don't get too comfortable.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Keep it warm. I'm coming soon for my belt. Hashtag UFC 332 at Natalia Silva UFC. So. Very respectful. Do you think we would have got the same kind of tweet from Valentina if Wang Tong had won the belt? Because I don't think so. I don't think it would have been worded the same.
Starting point is 00:06:06 I think it would have been like because also it's not like Wang has done at least not that I've seen like super trashed or anything. So I think it would have been like, hey, glad you got the belt, but you shouldn't have beat me in kickboxing and now I'll prove it in MMA. It would be like there'd be a little more edge to it, I bet.
Starting point is 00:06:24 Natalia Silva wins four rounds to one on one judge's scorecard, 4847 on the two other scorecards. It's no secret how I scored the fights out of a big deal. But, Jed, a historic moment in that fight, Natalia Silva knocks down Wang Tong in round two, which officially set a record for the most knockdowns ever in the history of the UFC at a singular event with 16, 16 knockdowns. Natalia Silva breaks the record. So just adding to a historic night, Jedmishu.
Starting point is 00:06:57 Did you know that? Did you know that was a thing? I did not. I mean, there were, that isn't shocking. because there were so many various records broken, the number of consecutive first round finishes, the number of first round finishes, uh,
Starting point is 00:07:12 maybe even the number of finishes. I'm not a hundred percent sure if that one ended up getting clocked or not, but like, yeah, I don't know if we beat, uh, Serbia on that one. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:07:20 it's, uh, just there were a ton of early finishes and then you get like the Bobby Green, Bobby Green was knocked down three times in that fight. So like, yeah, when everybody's getting knocked out,
Starting point is 00:07:29 that's a bunch of knockdowns. And one guy gets knocked down a bunch of times. it adds up. So I didn't know that, but add another one, I am certain that the post show has them taking victory laps about how everybody said this garbage trash
Starting point is 00:07:43 and look at it. And you know, sure, I just don't have the energy to fight a very silly battle. Yeah, you don't, this doesn't need to be fought. Was this better than UFC 331? Absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:07:59 We were talking about 331, we're still talking about 331. I rocked. Yeah, it was just, it was an incredible card, incredible event. Like nothing, like no end of year discussion is coming from this event. Not a single thing is coming from this event in terms of like award season or anything like that. It doesn't mean it wasn't fun.
Starting point is 00:08:18 But again, like, when we talk about like events that are great, we talk about events that like have staying power. This didn't. This had apexy staying power. Maybe a little more. Like if you, depending on how you look at it because of the historic amount. of knockdowns and such. But like this is just not a card we're going to be talking about come Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:08:38 It's, it's fine. We had a good time watching it, but just no historical context to be laid into the future when it comes to UFC 332. And that's fine. Scorecards jet are out. And I'm looking at him right now. Sal de Mato is one of the 4847s.
Starting point is 00:08:55 He scores first three for Natty. Nope, one, two, and four for Natty, three and five. That's what I thought. Wong Tom. Derek Cleary. one, three, and four were Natty, and then I gave five to Wong. And I was like, you could give Wong the third. So, yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:10 Derek clearly scored one, two, three, and four for Natty, round five for Wong. Mike Bell scored one, two, and three for Natty, four and five for Wong, Tom. So kind of all over the place. I mean, everybody scored most of the rounds for Natty and then the fifth for Wong. And then there's a little bit of flex. Yeah, I think that sounds right, right? The right person won. That's all that matters.
Starting point is 00:09:32 Yeah, Natty won. I think that's fair. I don't know what to make of this fight. Like, it's, it's impressive what Natalia Sova has been able to do, right? Like, this is you don't win 15 fights in a row by accident. You don't win nine fights in the UFC in a row by accident. And yet, every time I watch her fight,
Starting point is 00:09:53 I'm just not like, nothing blows me away. It's just like, yep, you're good. Like, she is very David Martinez-y, right? right? Like there's a lot of like, okay, can be really tough to beat you, but you're not. And she has done it, you know, longer than he has to get to a title fight, win a belt. But assuming she does fight, you know, Shevchanger, I'll pick Chevy. Maybe Chevy loses. Shevies almost 40.
Starting point is 00:10:21 Like it won't shock me if Chevy loses at all ever at this stage. She's been, she's been fighting for over 20 years. That's not really a thing that people do. So like if she loses to Natty, okay. but I don't the whole the nature of this fight was weird she fought the number eight ranked person like if she had done this to menaul I'd be like okay all right that's something like now we got okay but like doing this to Wang who I did think could be a challenging style matchup that she worked through Wang got a little bit better as the fight went on obviously yeah I don't I just don't know what to make of this because it's ostensibly it shouldn't be meaningful right like it's for a belt it's for a belt that has had very few owners realistically two women have honestly held the belt and then a third also held the belt. So like this should matter and it it's hard to feel like it does. Maybe she fights Chivchenko.
Starting point is 00:11:14 If she beat Chivchenko, then no one will care. I'm like, okay, that matters. But this felt like an interim title fight because it is functionally what it was. It was just being branded as something different for ulterior motives. And yeah, like I look forward assuming that I still don't think she should, come back. But if Shibchenko does, as her message says, come back and try and reclaim the belt. I'll be interested in the matchup. Yeah. I just, the fight just went exactly the way I thought it was going to go. It wasn't really surprised by anything. Now he knocking her down and,
Starting point is 00:11:48 you know, kind of being the more powerful striker in the fight was not really on my bingo card. Thought she might grapple a bit. She did. Thought she might get some more takedowns. Thought she might go for some more submissions. She was surprised. She kind of like stopped doing that as the fight progressed. But I thought like if a knockdown was going to happen in this fight, it's probably coming from the other side. So that was pretty surprising. But it was, you know, it was just a, it was a fine fight. It was a fine fight.
Starting point is 00:12:12 Wasn't great. Wasn't terrible. It was good, not great. And that's, and that's totally okay. So it was, it wasn't a disaster of a fight, which I know.
Starting point is 00:12:21 There was a real possibility. And early, it looked like it could be a real disaster of a fight. So the fact that it didn't, I think everyone just to kind of tip their cap and be like, okay, I don't think everybody should be taking victory laps about how this was a great event, but that's mainly because like, that's just real needle energy to me. It's like, I don't know if you, I don't know how much fan,
Starting point is 00:12:45 MMA fans watch other sports, but no other fan base is like as protective of the, the, like, they're not NFL fans. They're fans of teams, right? There's nobody who's like, Roger Goodell can do no wrong. and is my God in guiding light. Like nobody, because that's weird, oh shit. Like you wouldn't, that's a weird thing to do. And so when fan, like, when NFL fans like, man, this slate of games on Sunday sucks.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Like, it's all trash games. They're like, okay. Like, we'll still watch them, but they're garbage. We can all acknowledge. And maybe they'll be fun. Some of them will be close. We might get an overtime game. But everybody like acknowledges, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:22 The Sunday slate's kind of weak this weekend or whatever. And they move on. And there's not like, it's not like Al Michaels and Tony, or not, I guess not Tony anymore, come on and are like, you see, you all thought this Thursday night football game between the Giants and the Bucks was going to be dog shit. And now, look, aren't you dumb? Because this has been a barn, bars, like, oh, it was a really fun game.
Starting point is 00:13:47 Like, everybody's just happy about stuff. It's not rubbing people's noses in it because you disagreed. They're like, oh, this card kind of looks like trash. Like, it's, this is a normal thing in sports. MMA is the only sport in the world. where fans are like upset when you're just like, I don't think this looks very good. Incredible.
Starting point is 00:14:07 Because that, I mean, that was something I thought about earlier. I'm like, you don't go to the desk on Thursday night football after like the Browns beat the Steelers. They're like, see a bunch of dinks.
Starting point is 00:14:17 You guys thought this game was going to suck. But like, dude, everyone's going to watch it anyways. Like you put it on. You're just like, it's like, it should be treated like any other week.
Starting point is 00:14:26 You shouldn't have to defend a card. Because then the fans win. if you have to do that. And the whole broadcast was predicated upon how people viewed it and how people commented on it. You could tell just by like the structure and sort of like the rundown of the broadcast where it was like it was just,
Starting point is 00:14:46 we're going to defend this to the nines. Here's why Wong Tong deserves this. Like that was the whole story of the event. It was crazy. And I'm like, why are you trying so hard? Like if you're defending, you're losing already. It's the thing like,
Starting point is 00:15:01 especially like somebody, the chat has informed me that yes, Michael Keesa was apparently taking victory laps about how great this car was. And like, who,
Starting point is 00:15:09 and he had a tough night at the opposite. Let me just tell you. I didn't listen that much, but yeah, what I heard wasn't great. But it's like, if,
Starting point is 00:15:16 if they're new fans or like not hardcore fans or whatever, like not people doing this like we are, right? Like just random Joe's who tuned in
Starting point is 00:15:23 because this was on big CBS and they were watching the show and then you're like, you're on the booth. Like, there's a reason that Kirk Herb Street isn't like, you see how all of you thought this game day was ass and actually it's fun. It's because that doesn't get people interested to come back to like,
Starting point is 00:15:39 telling people that they were stupid for thinking something is not a way to be like, hey, I would very much like to watch your product. You're like, man, we had a wonder like tonight was sick. There was so many first. You don't say like everybody called this. One,
Starting point is 00:15:54 you're giving it credence honestly by addressing it. And two, it's just like, no. Let it speak for itself. talk things up. I feel like we should be beyond this, but this sport seems to be perpetually living
Starting point is 00:16:05 in like Little Brother syndrome of feeling like I need validation constantly. It's like, no, every other sport has shit events too. It's fine. Yeah. Constantly, the whole conversation is like, no, no, we're not competing with
Starting point is 00:16:20 PFL and MVP. We're competing with the NFL and Major League Baseball. I'm like, okay, you think they're defending like, hey, this Chicago White Sox, the year, Yankee series is, going to suck. No one's saying that. They're not going to go on the broadcast. Like, wait till you see this thing when it goes to seven games.
Starting point is 00:16:35 They're not saying that shit. I'm waking up at 9 a.m. to watch the Colts play the commanders without Jane Daniels in London. And nobody on that broadcast is going to be like, you should be thankful to even be here. They're going to be like, we're going to have a fun time for whatever this is.
Starting point is 00:16:51 And I'm going to be like, yeah, I'm watching Daniel Jones take on Marcus Marius Marriota. All right. This is what it is. Dude, we also like, the complete about this card was not because like the fighters stink it's because you coddled together a title fight stole the belt from the rightful owner of it just to fulfill an obligation to this to Utah who paid your shit ton of money to come to your town there's no world I'll ever believe
Starting point is 00:17:17 that valenciennes ship shake was like you know what guys I'm injured here's the title no they're like hey val listen we're we got a we got a quandary here We need you to kind of like just go with the belt and like they're selling me on Utah though man you see some of the kind of look Utah look pretty nice yeah I would look it's cool looking place no doubt about it looks no doubt about it's where sports are now apparently we have bonuses have you seen these bonuses I have okay for those who are wondering I'm sure you could probably guess Johnny Walker gets a bonus for his heavyweight debut sick knockout Damian Pinos knockout
Starting point is 00:17:58 deserves one Rodriguez gets a bonus well done deserved it that was honestly performance to me that was like the most impressive thing I saw all night
Starting point is 00:18:11 was what Rodriguez did to yeah probably like super impressive good prospect and he just beat the brakes off that dude he made him look like a he made him look like a three and oh amy was the one of the only fights that wasn't a prohibitive
Starting point is 00:18:25 betting favorite involved. Yeah. And there was only one. There was only one underdog who cashed a ticket tonight. And it was Roman Copulov who beat the shit out of a tape of go to me. I think they got it right. I think these are all correct. Yep.
Starting point is 00:18:38 100%. They got this one right. So well done. $100,000 go to each of them. And then anybody else got a bonus still gets an extra $25K. So those are your bonuses. So Natalia Silva gets the job done. She wins.
Starting point is 00:18:52 Peyton Talbot, I mean, dude. you could not have asked for an easier night at the office. Holy cow, man. I was like, I don't know how I feel about this fight now, now that I've watched it. Like, now that I,
Starting point is 00:19:06 like, rethink about it, Davis Figurato just, it seemed to me, and this is like an internal discussion we were having in an MA fighting, like, this dude just showing up to collect a paycheck.
Starting point is 00:19:17 Then he started getting all, I said that on the preview show too. Well, yeah. I don't care. I'm happy to put my business up the street. Yeah. But then, like,
Starting point is 00:19:23 media day comes around and he had a whole, I mean, really truly, pound for pound, one of the worst media days of 2026. He's sitting there just calling out Josh Van, which is like, no, no, no, no, no. Please don't ever try to do that. And then he was just like, yeah, Peyton Talbot sucks. This dude is like, I want to thank the UFC because they could have given me a way harder fight and they gave me this piece of shit instead. Like, that's basically what it was.
Starting point is 00:19:50 And what? Please put a pin in this. We'll come back. we're on this now, but for later. Sorry, it just caught my eye. Okay, fair enough. But can you describe this to me? Like, if your friend called you tomorrow was like, tell me about this Peyton Talbot
Starting point is 00:20:12 fight that, you know, I was going through YouTube and going through the UFC socials, they built this entire event around Peyton Talbot. Every thumbnail and embedded throughout the week was Peyton Talbot. that this was, this is the push. And then they call you and they say, hey, I missed that fight.
Starting point is 00:20:31 What happened? Tell me about it. How are you going to describe it? Peyton Talbot beat the brakes off of a dude who I'm not entirely sure even wanted to be fighting. Figgie looked weird all week. And then he came out and for like the opening moments,
Starting point is 00:20:48 he looked like kind of figgy-ish. And then the moment he got hit, it was just like he wasn't, He wasn't there. Like he, he, and this is very disrespectful to him, and I do apologize if you end up seeing this,
Starting point is 00:21:00 David's Figurato. This is my opinion. I'm not saying it's absolute fact, but I think it's true. And I would hope that if you do end up seeing this, you could be like, it probably is true. He just seems to me like a guy
Starting point is 00:21:11 who's picking up a paycheck, right? Like he gets paid very well, I assume. It's a former champion. I'm sure he's on a pretty good deal. And, uh,
Starting point is 00:21:19 like, his last few fights, he's been very competitive against, he's lost comfortably, but he's been competitive against the very best fighters where like in the division. This one was very different of like
Starting point is 00:21:31 he wasn't like I think Peyton I think Peyton Talbot is an exceptional talent and he just had he he wasn't really there to fight him it did not seem and so maybe maybe it's armchair psychology
Starting point is 00:21:46 and I'm an idiot and wrong is what I what kind of look like to me you know we got they got what they wanted out of this. Peyton adds a second UFC champion to his resume. He gets to move up the rankings because I think Figgie's still somehow holding like a very high ranking,
Starting point is 00:22:01 which is he should have lost six fights in row now, whatever. Yeah, I would like it if Figgie left. I don't believe he will retire. I think as long as they keep offering to pay him the same amount of money, he will keep showing up for it. But I don't take like a ton away. I feel the exact same I felt about Payton Talbot. before and after, you know, it is what it is.
Starting point is 00:22:27 Yeah, it's just, it's just kind of a bummer because, like, the way I will remember this fight is like, okay, Peyton hit him once and then Davis would quit. Like, he was just done. He didn't want it. He no-mast immediately. And it's just sad, man. Like, what are we doing here? It hurt.
Starting point is 00:22:45 It was a tough watch. He should not fight again. He should not fight again. I know if it was up to him, he would fight again. But if I'm the UFC, you got to, you know, let Davis be the peacock, right? Got to let me fly. Let's go. Let him fly.
Starting point is 00:23:04 Let him fly. Because don't. Don't fly. Yes, they do. Like, a little bit. Yeah, man. What an underrated great film. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:23:12 Honestly, might be the last like great Will Ferrell film. You might be right about that. It's, I love that movie. So. so much. Now I'm going to look and see if it's the last great Wolfarral film. But it's really good.
Starting point is 00:23:29 It's a very, very good one. Payne gets a win. No bonus because, yeah. Esteban Rievich knocks out King Green after dropping him three times. King Green still pissed about it, by the way. I don't know if you saw this. Dropped a vid on social media being like, yo, I told Herb Dean before the fight,
Starting point is 00:23:47 let me go out of my shield. Didn't do it. So he's still a little mad. I think it was a damn good stoppage. Jesus, a damn good stoppage. And Reavich gets the job done. Roberto Solich gets the win over Chaos Williams.
Starting point is 00:24:01 How do you grade Roberto Soldich's performance tonight? B-B-B-B-plus, right? Like, he, I think people underestimate, he hadn't fought in like a year and a half, like, over that. I think it'd been like, it's been a really long time to he fought. So he had some ring rust, just coming into the UFC. Like, just there's a lot. lot of factors. He had he looked like a guy who hadn't fought in a while and the first round
Starting point is 00:24:25 was tough. And then he figured like, then he was like, oh, I remember how to fight. And then he promptly kicked the hell of Chaos Williams. He made some errors, right? Like, I think you, I think he would have gotten a finish if he hadn't gone to the ground game. But like, like, he looked like a guy who needed five minutes to remember how to fist fight, like a lot, like live bullets. And then he just, I mean, like Chaos Williams was not really in that fight. after the five minute mark, like once sold the Chad's legs underneath him. So perfectly good. It's not like one where you say got to fast track him to a title,
Starting point is 00:24:58 but I think he gets a win over a veteran guy. And on the watch party, I threw out the name Daniel Rodriguez, and I think that's where I book him, like a guy in the rankings who's not, like he's going to, they'll chuck him. D.Rot will probably get golded. And then you'll have like a real highlight for him to start building him. I think that's the correct answer right there.
Starting point is 00:25:21 So I wanted to check. I haven't checked MMA decisions yet. I'm looking at it now. I'm stunned by the M.A decisions for the main event. That it's like most people are three, two? No. That's not the stunning part. Oh, did somebody score that for Wong?
Starting point is 00:25:38 Two people did. Hell yeah. Those Mavericks. Look at him. Steve Dunkin and Danny Seguera scored a five. What the Frizzis. Christ. I mean this with absolutely no disrespect. Who is Steve Duncan? I've met him a few times. Nice guy. Who's he for? MMA Uno. Oh, I don't know that. Okay. There's just no world where you can score that
Starting point is 00:25:58 fight for Wang. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Danny, what a king. I have to go to his Twitter and see if he defends this. Man, Danny, I think Danny. He drops some of the craziest takes I've ever seen in my life. If any of you are MK Watchers, I did not watch Friday show. I couldn't be on it this Friday. and Danny was on and I want to know if Danny gave any hard lot because Danny is now built I don't know Mike
Starting point is 00:26:23 how much you're aware of this every time Danny goes on MK he's like bet the house on X and that person that person loses so I really hope that he was like a table of go Tia is a lock someone said
Starting point is 00:26:34 someone commented and I don't know if this is true or not but he said that about RDA oh I mean look I don't know that's thing I have to see it but honestly it's an incredible bit This is an incredible bit, if true, it's the best.
Starting point is 00:26:50 It's so fun. I love that he, I love that he scored that fight for Wang. Because, like, I think you can score that fight for Wang if, and I mean this very clearly, if you are clearly, like, clearly just trying to. Like, it's defensible to give her three rounds, but you have to really be, like, squinting your eyes and be like, I'm only seeing. what I want to see. I've got the blinders on and I'm looking at nothing else. So good on you, Danny. Yeah. I mean, if this is a bit, I respect the hell out of it. It's a great bit. It's a terrific bit. A terrific bit.
Starting point is 00:27:32 Yeah, back to Solich. Yeah, solid B man. He got to show what he could do. He was really fun. Once he got cooking in round two, he was just off to the races. And I think he just wanted to, I think he just wanted to make sure that that he got the dub and yeah i think drod is the perfect next fight for him and that can be a main event too i've also pulled up will fist uh will feral's filmography and it's not a hundred percent that the other guys is his last great movie but there's only i only would think that there's i think it's his last great movie megamind also came out in the same year i actually think Mega Mind is a very good animated film. The only other one that I would really consider is like a good movie.
Starting point is 00:28:19 Like, Get Hard and Daddy's Home are both kind of fun, but they're not great movies. Anchorman 2, your mileage will vary on how good that is. I did not like Anchorman 2. I thought it was fine. It's not as good as the other guys though. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:34 So I think the other guys, unless you're counting like Barbie, which he's in, but that's not his movie, you know, like. yeah but uh yeah the other guy's great film great movie if you haven't seen it michael michael keaton steals the damn show uh he does a great job he's unbelievable in that movie oh he's so good
Starting point is 00:28:53 and then look at waterfalls you're telling me i feel like you're doing this on purpose what are you talking about who is tlc who is that really because that all right last thing uh you get a creeperle apist you get a creep
Starting point is 00:29:10 got to create. Oh, sorry. That's, this is my other job. All right. Go out there, get him. Go get him.
Starting point is 00:29:16 I love that movie. We talked to our reversal. Just Roman Coppulop. Just clobbers a tape of goatee. What a performance from Emilio. Eminol Rodriguez, like Jed and I talked about. I feel like he's going to be sort of the
Starting point is 00:29:28 under the radar hero of this event. I think if we're going to be talking, like honestly, if there's somebody I'm certainly going to be talking about after this event, it's probably him. He's really, really good. Damien Pinas,
Starting point is 00:29:39 really good. just destroys Andre Pulaev, and I guess kind of a no-brainer wild card selection. It's him versus Roman Coppulov next. We just got to follow the train. You're making lots of faces here.
Starting point is 00:29:50 What happened? There's a clip popped up. Daniel Cormier saying, I believe the UFC 332, the fights we saw tonight, will go down in history is one of the greatest fight nights the UFC has ever had.
Starting point is 00:30:02 God damn it, dude. I mean, they're really laying it on thick, buddy. They are really, really laying it on thick. dude come on like this is like at least at least try at least try dude
Starting point is 00:30:17 like come on this is it's unbelievable honestly lead into the bit let's go screw it's go just just have everybody say it's the greatest event in the history of the world
Starting point is 00:30:25 it's better than UFC 300 just just go all it hey look for DC two of his fighters won I'm sure he had a great time that's true he's he's having a ball right now plus songy dong is sad so like he
Starting point is 00:30:39 after song did his boy dirty now there they're there. Yep. Marcus Beghee gets finished against Anthony Romero. Anthony Wins destroyed Who was Mark was supposed to fight originally? He was supposed to fight I was really looking forward to it too.
Starting point is 00:30:56 Bernardosupége. That's right. That was going to be actually quite fun. They should just go back and rebook that since he doesn't really hate that but I do his post fight. I actually found I liked his post fight speech. I don't know you paid attention because it was early on, you know, you're doing like a ton of stuff. His post fight was like really succinct and I agreed wholeheart.
Starting point is 00:31:18 It was like, hey man, I've only lost a peyote on. So like, stop having me do this. Please give me a top ranked fighter. I was like, honestly, that's right. Like that's, that's fair, dude. Like my one loss in the promotion is to the current champion. Can I get a ranked guy? I think it's a fair request for him.
Starting point is 00:31:39 I mean, I don't think that's wrong. But yeah, Bernardo's fun too, man. I mean, that's a fun. He versus Montel Jackson. Let Marcus get a chance. Let Marcus get a chance. Apparently, Dana White showed at the press conference. It's 16,000 people in attendance.
Starting point is 00:31:54 There's just no fucking way. That's true. Well, I don't know. Does that arena hold 30,000? Because then it might be true. I mean, that might be true. There's no way. But look, like I said, there's no doubt out of my mind.
Starting point is 00:32:06 They're going to fudge these numbers. The capacity is 20,000. So that seems suspect to me. Yeah, there's no, there's no way that's true. But again, you can fudge those numbers all you want. And again, maybe there was 16,000 in tenants. Maybe they gave away 2,000 free tickets tonight. Doesn't mean 16,000.
Starting point is 00:32:30 You didn't say 16,000 paid. It could have been 16,000. I don't know. 4,000 people, not at a UFC card, is a lot for them. So, yeah, not great. I don't think there's no way 16,000 people paid money to go to that event. There's just no way that that is the case. So we'll go back and listen to that.
Starting point is 00:32:50 Anthony Wint fought a dude who should not have been in there. Hopefully we're done with that whole thing because that's happened two times in a row for him. Johnny Walker, sick knockout, got a bonus. Jacoby Smith, nasty ground and pound against Bruce Whitehead, Alexander Hernandez, knocks out Hotfield of Sanjos, Ishmael Nardiev defeats Marvin Vittori. and Eric Nolan retires Cort McGee with a third round
Starting point is 00:33:15 knockout victory. He had a nice speech after they gave him a video package but not one where he stood in the cage and watched it. They played it as he left. So that was nice, happy for court McGee to get
Starting point is 00:33:28 sort of a moment like that in a hometown. He was looking good until he wasn't. So yeah. You also glossed over the biggest news of the night. Did I? Yes. by gloss over, you didn't address it. By far the biggest news of the night is what was announced during the card.
Starting point is 00:33:47 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We'll get there, I'm sure. Oh, yeah, by far the biggest news. But none of it was there. I think, honestly, like, the one fight nobody expected might be the biggest news. The main event of UFC 335, most people knew. Diego Lopez challenging Charles Oliver for the BMF title. We've been kind of teasing it.
Starting point is 00:34:08 we've had that pre-written for quite some time. The co-main event, we also had pre-written for quite some time. It's Alex Pereira, Sergey Pavlovich. They made it a five-round fight. Don't really know why it's a five-round fight. I love it. It's just hilarious because that fight ain't going five minutes, let alone five rounds.
Starting point is 00:34:28 And there you go. But honestly, the big shocker to me is the featured bout for this card. Joe Piper versus Boe Nickel did not see that one. coming from a mile and a half away. That's out of nowhere. And the more I think about it, as shocked as I am that they would do this, I love it. I love it.
Starting point is 00:34:52 Mike, what I was reacting to much earlier in the show, they're opening odds on all three fights. Would you care to take a guess? I will say Joe Piper is the favorite. He is. Would you care to place a line on that? minus 175 minus 130 Pfeiffer
Starting point is 00:35:16 bonickle plus 110 oh shit I might have to just drop a hammer there I'm gonna bet that Pfefer gets bet up on that fairly quickly yeah
Starting point is 00:35:25 because that is what I would have said to I would have been like minus 175 I will say I'll say Charles Olivera minus 130 this one is
Starting point is 00:35:39 olivera minus 170 Diego plus 145. So I was almost exactly right on this one. Good show. I think I said 180. I was pretty close to pulling that one. Now, the other fight is actually tough. Because if I was making this line,
Starting point is 00:35:58 I would put Cavillich is the favorite. But considering what these books are trying to do, I think they have Pereira's the favorite. I'll say Pereira minus one. 40. Your biggest miss. Alex Pereer is the underdog. Okay,
Starting point is 00:36:20 they got it right. Plus 110, Pav minus 130 is the opening line. I strongly suspect that we'll get bet to at least even money odds because Poeton will get cash. Yep. Well, yeah,
Starting point is 00:36:33 when I saw that, because I like you, I was like, they're definitely going to have Poetan as the favorite as the opening. That is not what has happened here. Wow. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:36:43 Yeah, all fairly closely line Like I said it on the on the watch party I really like how 335 shaping up Like those are three very good fights Two of them that you and I have known about for some time Right and your mileage may vary on the BMF fight As far as like what it means But the fight is super fun
Starting point is 00:37:03 I don't think anybody can deny that And then the weirdo one Nobody saw Piper Nickel coming out of here And that's I'm kind of into it So I do like that fight a lot It's shaping it to be a good chord. Very risky fight for Joe Piper, which is kind of what I like the most about it.
Starting point is 00:37:21 I mean, dude literally is it went away from fighting for the belt. At least the position he's in, but I mean, does he get it if he beats Bo Nickel? I don't know. Like, he's risking a lot here,
Starting point is 00:37:32 in my opinion. So there you have it. Shout out to being a YouTube member. Dude, when you came back as a White Ranger after you betrayed everybody, I was like, you are an evil person for betraying everybody. But then you came back, Tommy, as a white ranger, and we're the hero we deserved.
Starting point is 00:37:51 And that was very cool of you. Thank you. Thank you for coming back. That was like, that was exactly my time growing up. Like the Power Rangers was like exactly my age where I was like, yeah, I watched, watch that hell out of the Power Rangers. I aged out of it. My little brother was a huge fan of it. and like it was one of those things like if you have to watch your little brother so you're stuck
Starting point is 00:38:17 watching the shit he wants to watch and then I was like what are we watching here and then I saw the pink ranger and I was like oh okay like rock on my more from power Rangers was like 94 95 when I was like six I was couldn't have been more in my wheelhouse yeah I was like rock on let's go now I'll watch it uh Brett K MMA to be fair to DC he knows so little about the fighters that from his point of view he saw 11 50 50 tossups end in K.O. I mean, that's... I honestly thought he did okay tonight. We didn't hear a ton because we're doing it, but I had some audio.
Starting point is 00:38:53 And look, I will forever take issue with him commentating fights, fighters for whom he is coaching. I think that that is just trash and we shouldn't be doing it. But outside of that, like I thought he was mostly his breakdown on the Bobby Green Esteban Rovich finished. I thought like was they sort of had that bagged. Like, I thought he did okay. And I'm usually one to bag on DC.
Starting point is 00:39:19 I, and again, I didn't hear a lot, so I could have missed stuff. I thought he was fine today. Yeah, but like he should probably learn from George Costanza. Leave on a high note.
Starting point is 00:39:31 Leave on a high note. Don't go out there and be like, in the history of the UFC, this will go down is one of the greatest fight cards in the history of the company. Yeah, you should probably not do that. and ruin the entire night if you had a decent one.
Starting point is 00:39:43 Because that's how people are going to remember it now because it's so ridiculous and so not true. And maybe it's the producer saying, like, this is how you have to treat this. This is the edict from the company that you have to just push this narrative of like, everyone thinks this card's poop. So we're going to,
Starting point is 00:40:00 we're going to dance all over it. It's so stupid. Like, it's just, it's so obvious what they're trying to do and it drives me bananas. So, yeah, man. hate it. Couldn't I hate this more.
Starting point is 00:40:13 Just be like, hey, this is a fun card. We had a great time. If you watched it, you had fun. If you didn't, you didn't because you got,
Starting point is 00:40:21 and you missed a fun one. Like, it's okay to say that. If you spent 75 bucks of the ticket tonight, you got your fucking money's worth. That's a great thing to say. You could say that.
Starting point is 00:40:31 But to say this is like up in the same conversation as the UFC 300s of the world. It's just insane. It's an insane take. Yeah. the whole thing we've been saying like this was empty calories is one i i love i love a delicious coca cola they are god's favorite beverage as far as i'm concerned like a crisp coca cola out of like a mexican bottled coca cola with the cane sugar is one of life's pure joys
Starting point is 00:41:01 but i don't drink that and think i am hydrated you know it's it's not water that's not that's It's not sustenance that is candy. And so we got, we got a lot of delicious candy and it was fun and enjoyable. And I don't have any of the necessary calories for my body to function moving forward. So I need some of those. We'll, you know, we'll get some at some point. Like I said, 335 looks good. 333.
Starting point is 00:41:29 I really like that card a lot. I love the cutter card. Cutter card they just announced. I like that fight a lot. Yeah. So, you know, it's coming. 333 is a banger. I like 334 too.
Starting point is 00:41:40 I mean, it's very top heavy, but it is interesting. It's a very MSG-ish card. Data White to the attendance was 16,492, and the gate was $2.7 million. God, that's for the UFC, that's, I mean, it's a good gate for most sports organizations. 2.7 is pretty low for a UFC event. Let's see if there's anything else going on. from the Dana Scrum we'll give you some highlights in a moment
Starting point is 00:42:09 what else you got here Duke bad a copiloss finished over table was the most impressive in my opinion I thought it was very good too I mean it's an argument for I'll still go Eminol Rodriguez because I like Corey I think that that was the fight
Starting point is 00:42:27 I was probably the most interested in like of a pure here good fighters fighting each other aspect outside of the main event and I thought he looked unbelievable yeah like I thought Damien Pinos looked great against a guy who, you know, a table of OTA had trouble with, but like he made
Starting point is 00:42:44 quick work of, but it's still Andre Palliav. I guess, and that's disrespect for Palliav, I know, but like he looked great against a guy he was in general supposed to look great against. Iminal Rodriguez looked unreal against the guy who could have been challenging. That's a guy I looked at and I was like, damn, dude's sick. Yeah. It's really, really good. So, yeah, looking forward to seeing what they do with him next.
Starting point is 00:43:06 Joseph, does Marne Vittori and RDA get their walking papers after their losses? I assume RDA is going to retire. I know that he didn't do it there. They mentioned this a couple of times on the broadcast, and I think it's real. Because I talked about the previous show. I just thought RDA was retired before this got booked. See, he hadn't fought in two years.
Starting point is 00:43:29 You're coming up a long injury. I think, and they mentioned it sort of in passing, I think it's valid for him to not want his, career to end on a knee injury to Jeff Neal. And so he came back because he wanted to have something. But like, if he, if he wants to do it again, who does he fight? Does it make sense? I don't, I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:43:50 He should walk away. Should be a Hall of Famer, right? Like, wonderful career. He's in his 40s. The time has passed. They want to give him one more and try and get him something winnable. Okay. But like, I think he'll probably walk.
Starting point is 00:44:06 I don't think Marvin's going to retire. but Marvin should get his walking papers. Like honestly, it's cliche. Let Marvin go to BKFC. You know, let's let Marvin try that sort of wheelhouse because he's still durable,
Starting point is 00:44:22 right? But like he's, he's getting close to being not durable now. He's getting cracked a lot more in ways he think it could happen. So let him go to BKFC. I would say go to game bread MMA, but like, they just,
Starting point is 00:44:35 no, I wouldn't go there. I'd go to BKFC. There's just no buzz behind that promotion, man. Like just nothing. It hurts my soul. Oh, what could have been?
Starting point is 00:44:45 Yeah, but if they get the Italian dream, then the buzz is back, baby. No one knew they had a card last night. Marvin Vittori. Dude, Darren Till Marvin Votori, come on.
Starting point is 00:44:58 How do you not line up for that? BKFC? Let's do it. None game bread, though. Lockbomb, other guys definitely Will's last great film. He was great in eastbound and down, though. That is 100% true.
Starting point is 00:45:09 Well, yes, certable. And he's bound and down. Spectacular. One of the, I think the other guys is a last day film. And I have affinity for some of his other stuff.
Starting point is 00:45:19 Sure. But the other guys, like I would put up there with some of his, like his, like I think the other guy's unbelievably funny. He has a great rapport. Because he, Daddy's home is not a good movie,
Starting point is 00:45:30 but they still kind of make it work. It's very funny. Even the second one, which is, uh, filmed in the bird. Berkshires, by the way, Massachusetts, in Great Barrington. Shout out to Great Barrington.
Starting point is 00:45:42 Getting some shine with Daddy's home too. But yeah, dude, when he does bad cop, bad cop and starts freaking out, I die. Oh, I thought we were doing bad cop, bad cop. We should start screwing. It's so good. I did a discop. The bit giving him the wooden gun is unbelievably funny to me. He just hits him in the nose with it.
Starting point is 00:46:07 Oh, so good, man. They're a great movie. It's a good movie. K.O. equals great fight, aka just bleed, ridiculous. Look, it's a fun fight. We can call it a great fight.
Starting point is 00:46:20 I had fun time tonight. Yeah, we had fun. I would like, this would be mean. I do, we should have, like, I wish to save this. And then in six months,
Starting point is 00:46:34 be like, so DC, uh, please list, the best fights from UFC 332 without looking it up and see what he can remember happened because like you said this one we're going to remember there's one of the greatest events of all time
Starting point is 00:46:47 what fights happened on it and he will be like I do not know well he'll be able to name two oh fair like so that was and then he still won't be like I don't remember like that's right yeah but he'll remember the main and the co-main so there's four he could still use those
Starting point is 00:47:06 do you think I'm not certain I think you'll remember Peyton Talbot Davis of a figurata and I think he'll remember Let's get him on prop quiz because I won't remember that shit Oh he get dude he would get rinsed on that show Golly I don't think he'd go get awful one Uh, Michael talk about it and not know but who's decks for Damien Pinas Jed? I think we're going to have the same answer here
Starting point is 00:47:26 Who did I say I gotta now look back at the who did I say on the We're following the goatee track here Oh I did Originally I said something else And then I was like, just give him Roman Koppelov after that. And I kind of don't even hate giving him Roman Koppelov, honestly. I actually think that's what they should do. I think Kavlov would be totally reasonable.
Starting point is 00:47:50 I think, I really like you, you pitched it, and I really like it. I think Edmichibazian is very good, too. In my head, I know he called for him once I ranked guy. I think we're probably won away, which is why Koppelov's, I don't think Koppelov's ranked anymore. But like, again, going from knocking out Andre Pulaev into the rankings, there's a gap there.
Starting point is 00:48:17 The one that they won't book, but I personally would be the most interested in, is Juni Young Park, because I think I'd learn the most watching him fight the Iron Turtle. But any guy in that range, I just think there's no wrong way to go with Pinos, you know? He's,
Starting point is 00:48:33 he's fun, man. He's very, very fun. The important thing with Pinos is just get him in. You know, make sure he's getting in there three or four times a year. Keep him, you want to keep Pino's very busy. Yeah. What else we got? Why are they bashing D.C.?
Starting point is 00:48:53 That car is insane broke records? I, I, Matt Norton, I'll bet you, I'll bet you anything that if we ask you six months from now, what records it broke, you're not going to remember. You won't remember. It's just one of those cars. hard's man. Jay Fish, I see your comment
Starting point is 00:49:09 and I don't think I can allow it. I kind of want to. Eh. It's almost midnight. I'll allow it. If it was going to be like a Stanzy, he should become a marine biologist. One of the great episodes of television.
Starting point is 00:49:23 Just full stop. Oh, yeah, 100%. Truly one of the greatest episodes of TV ever. Just to clarify for those who are here and choose still not to listen. Violence? Again, We had fun watching the event.
Starting point is 00:49:40 It was fun. You know what else is fun? The H. Notto Moikano Chris Duncan card. That was also fun. Buddy, I can't. And maybe this is just my old brain. I can't.
Starting point is 00:49:52 I remember that fight very specifically. I can't tell you another fight from that card. Yeah. That was the infamous Michael Bisbing, trashing MMA fighting for saying, is this the worst card ever on paper? Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:05 Because it was the worst card ever on paper. It's still to this day is the worst guy ever. Personally, and I understand it. I get it. He shouldn't like me, so it's fine. Like, I'm not upset about it. Like, yeah. This is a fun card.
Starting point is 00:50:18 Like, there are a lot of squash matches and a lot of finishes. Like, that's good. Sometimes I like to see some competitive fights. That's okay, too. They're figuring it out. I told this to A.K., a couple weeks back, like, they've embraced squash matches in a way that I do think is honestly good. They've a little over-embraced it.
Starting point is 00:50:36 They got a, you got a, you got a, recalibrated a little. I think they're going to figure it out. And then they're going to be like, hey, we have a couple of squash matches, a couple of good matches, and then the top stuff that matters. It's like when you're making a dinner plate, you know, you can't go all starches and unless you're like the Adkins or whatever where you just go veggies and meat. You got to have some meat, some vegetables, some, you know, rice or potatoes or whatever. Like you got to have, you got to have the full balance. Your carbs. You got to get it in. They have. They have. haven't quite figured out how to compose a meal for every one of these.
Starting point is 00:51:12 Honestly, because some of them are like this card where it's like, all right, let's take whatever we got and put it on here because we got to get some of these fights down. But it can still be a tasty, delicious, you know, meal. And that's what we had. We did a good meal. Piece of cheesecake, baby. Let's not call that cheesecake. Cheesecake is better than that.
Starting point is 00:51:31 Cheesecake is wonderful. That was just good. All right. That was good. It was a strawberry cake. We don't call that like the most. delicious thing I've ever eaten. Strawberry shortcake?
Starting point is 00:51:41 It's not your first choice, but it's at a party. I mean, I really like strawberry shortcake, but I don't want to eat like a lot of strawberry short cake, whereas like I could probably eat half a cheesecake if you, if I sat down at it. Yeah. Let's go through some Dana White notes before we get out of here. Showed up that the old presser and started chatting.
Starting point is 00:52:00 He did. Yes, he overinflated the attendance. Oh, that's right. That's right. And we talked about that. Dana White feels that Wong Tong will hate herself when she goes back and watches the fight back. He thinks it would have been a different fight
Starting point is 00:52:14 if she put her foot on the gas more. He expects Silva will be an active champion. Okay? She's probably not wrong. Bering the lead. I don't know if it's the lead, but I just saw it. And oh, man, Alexander K. Lee couldn't be more excited. Okay.
Starting point is 00:52:31 We'll get there. White says there's been worse stoppages than Rievich stopping Bobby Green. he adds that Herb Dean is having a rough year. He's about a rough year for some time. Though I thought that was fine. Yeah. White's as far as he knows, Huffield O'Sandras is not retiring,
Starting point is 00:52:47 but you'll have to ask him. But soldiers, Sol did she look great. It was happy to see the UFC jitters not get to him. Olivera Lopez got a huge pop in the arena and thinks that fight will be bad shit crazy. The Paramount, WBD merger is huge for the UFC and everything else on Paramount Plus
Starting point is 00:53:03 because we had 200 million more home. when they merge with HBO Max. Okay. White says contender series is the biggest that it's ever been and is doing big numbers for Paramount Plus. I mean, you're probably not wrong about that. I actually also believe that. Oh, yeah, it's probably true.
Starting point is 00:53:23 They promote it quite well on Paramount Plus. Like, you turn on Paramount Plus on Tuesday nights and it's like, do you want to watch this episode of Lioness or this thing is on? And you're like, I'll take live sports. Yeah. But again, those people who are into it now are probably not going to be into it in another year because they understand what it is now. It's the contractual obligations summer series to cut fighters making money and bring in new talent. Although some of them are quite good, if we're being honest.
Starting point is 00:53:52 And yes, that's kind of where the swash match series began is on Contender Series. White says they are producing Fury Joshua. he will be in Cardiff for the event. He says that he will have his foe on the table, just like he did tonight. I'll be there and producing it and promoting it. I'll see you in Wales. Great.
Starting point is 00:54:13 I think he will be there. That's fair. Yeah, he will be there. I don't think he'll be there at the next official press conference. White asked when the last time is that a numbered event sucked. When was the last time a numbered event sucked? He says that he recalls UFC 33 being one, because it almost bankrupted the business.
Starting point is 00:54:33 He says that not every... 33 hasn't happened. 33. Oh, 33. Well, sure. He says, not every card is going to be for everyone. If you want to watch 40 of the 44 cards in a year,
Starting point is 00:54:45 that's up to you. Again, I think that's actually exactly correct. That's actually the correct. Honestly, just like, that's the tech. Look, man, it's not, you don't have to tune in. You don't have to say it angrily.
Starting point is 00:54:56 You can just like, it's not for everybody, you know? There you go. It's so easy to do this. just say, look, if you watched it, you had a good time. If you didn't, you missed out on the good time. Just leave it at that. Just leave it at that. You don't have to be KS and Victory Lap.
Starting point is 00:55:11 You don't have to be like DC and lie to the world. 329 had a shitty main event. They can't really help, you know. That looked good on paper, but ended up. 325. 325 was an awful car. I'm trying to look at them right now and see. 325 could be bad.
Starting point is 00:55:26 I'm trying to remember. 326 is not. Pretty bad, dude. That was not fun. It was a pretty bad card. UFC 289 was not very good. But yeah, 325, I mentally blocked that out. There was at least like some kind of cool stuff,
Starting point is 00:55:40 but the main event's just such an atrocity that I blocked it out. Yeah, 289 was awful. 301. 301 was actually way more fun than it had any right to be. I think mostly because like we got C. Josealdo beat Josealdo in Brazil, which was kind of cool. It's always fun. And then like Pantotov.
Starting point is 00:56:01 Osia Ursaig was actually like a super fun fight. And no one thought it would be. 208, Duke Madduck, 208 was really, really awful. I was the first pay-per-view I'd ever covered. And I was like, fuck, dude, this is bad. Thank God for Dustin Porrier
Starting point is 00:56:19 and, I believe is Jim Miller. They fought on that car. And that was like, by far the best fight on the car and everything else was just really awful. Oh, 309 was ass. Which one's 309? Dude, no, it was John Steepay.
Starting point is 00:56:35 Oh, yeah. That car was trash. Charles and Chandler was like, or two was like, I mean, it was really, it was only fun because Michael Chandler started cheating the most anyone's ever cheated in the fifth round and that made it fun. But then that was that was Bo-Nickel, Paul
Starting point is 00:56:52 Craig, Viviani Arruza, Corrine Silva and, uh, the only boring Rissio Huffey fight in the hoofie lawn top. which wasn't like boring, but it's, you know, that, that my car was terrible. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:06 And then Jones Depe is like, that's an all time bad fight that people don't talk about as being a bad fight. That fight was horrible. Really bad. White put over Cort McGee, really good career, overcome a lot, excited for the next chapter.
Starting point is 00:57:21 Shout out to him, man, because like, yeah, court McGee is one of those dudes who, I mean, one, in some ways fighting,
Starting point is 00:57:27 like, saved his life. And that's terrific. We like, we, that's, it's a great story. He has parlayed his success in this to a meaningful role outside of this doing other things to help his community. And, you know, that's awesome. Never, never was a champ. Never really thought he was going to be one.
Starting point is 00:57:46 Just had a good career, hard-nosed, had some good wins. That's great. Like, no, I don't, I've never met a person with something bad to say about court. And that's very rare in the sport. So shout to him. Good career, man. Court McGee and Scott Coker, or like the two have never heard anyone, any fighter or any person say anything bad about, like had a bad run-in or anything like that. So last couple notes, White says that in just nine months.
Starting point is 00:58:11 Shout to Aaron Bronseter for the notes, by the way. Every week, the UFC has trended. Number one, with the exception of when Dolly Parton died, says that this week, Paramount specifically told him Contender Series is doing big numbers. And the last thing, he would love to see Pimblet and Teporia coached the ultimate fighter. but he says that is dependent on timing in the UFC's calendar. That's it. How about that? Like, yeah, I knew he'd show, but this one,
Starting point is 00:58:42 sort of like with Dana, it's like, what all is there to talk about? Like, hey, tell us about, I wish somebody, maybe they did, and we just didn't get the rundown. How do we settle on Poetan Pave for five rounds? Like, that's, which is why? That's an interesting question. Yeah. But really, I really, really,
Starting point is 00:59:01 really like to know how we got to Bo and Joe. That's because that's so a lot of left field. I would love to have known that as well. But look, UFC 332 is fun time. More fun times to come. That's right. You know what's next weekend, Mike? Back to the apex baby. Vegas
Starting point is 00:59:22 122. Who's headlining that one? That's Brendan Allen CLD. Oh, Jesus. I actually really like that main event. I think that main event's It's a good fight. So Brian has to be quite busy. What's the rest of that? Brian Allen's going to be quite busy this month in Las Vegas.
Starting point is 00:59:39 Yeah. The rest of it is there are fights happening. Well, let's say gigander because I mean, not a lot of Wikipedia pages on this fight card, quite frankly. I mean, look, if you're going to follow in DC's mind, one of the top greatest events in the history of the UFC. Before you look, have you already pulled it up? I have it right now.
Starting point is 01:00:00 I haven't looked at any of the fight yet. I will pay you $100 U.S. dollars if you can tell me the co-made event. I honestly have no idea. I will transfer what I almost said like 10,000, but then if you had pulled it, I would be destitute. What weight class is it in? It is in the lightweight division. Oh, I'm trying to think. I will be so impressed if you could pull this out of, like out of anywhere.
Starting point is 01:00:33 Oh, is this? Fuck, I'm not going to get this right. Is Drew Dober involved? Drew Dober is not involved. Then I have no shot. You, buddy, you never had a shot. Oh my God, no chance. Billow versus Jai Herbert.
Starting point is 01:00:53 What in the friggin world? You never, you never had your car. There was never a chance you were pulling that out. You could have given me 1,000 guesses and I wouldn't have got that right. I don't think I knew Jai Herbert was still on roster I mean No he did just be he beat
Starting point is 01:01:13 Amanda Mando right so that he beat Nalo that was that's right that's right that's sick also I'm not sure why that's the co-man like Kellen Sousa Lupi could co Andre Feeley Kikemanka
Starting point is 01:01:25 like at least people know who Andre Fili is yeah this is a fight card but Julius Walker Michael Ballmakers back we'll see if he can fighting another like tough dude, but probably the worst guy he's fought in quite some time. Yeah, but also the wellmaker, like the gym's alive now.
Starting point is 01:01:46 Faglier MMA, baby. They're coming. Okay. Francisco Prado. That's the dude who's signed now. He's ready to go. What else we got? We got Nico Price in his final fight against Leon Shabazian.
Starting point is 01:02:01 I mean, they're really trying to book him a win. the way out. I don't know if he gets it, though. Leap Franco versus Brensen-R-Berrero. Brenton-R-J.R.J. Harris versus Alan Fry. Daria Jellis Decova versus Alice Pereira. And Ernesta Kertakate versus Melissa Gatto. That is, wow.
Starting point is 01:02:27 That is the defo of an apexe-a-pex card. That's for damn sure. You know, they're out there thriving, buddy. We're going to be apexing all over that card. Yeah. And we're going to be apexing our way out of here. That's it. Yeah, guys.
Starting point is 01:02:53 We've talked about UFC 332 today live on air for between the two of us for six, over six hours. I said, this is a long time. I was explaining that too before like the fights I was out had lunch and drinks and watch the football game with some friends like what do you do at your job? I was like I'm going to talk about fights for six hours
Starting point is 01:03:14 that's a really long time I was like it sure is it's I mean look this this ain't like you know laying concrete or anything I'm not trying to pretend that but it's a long time yeah I've been a part of a couple of back back to backers Jed
Starting point is 01:03:30 which you were part of one too yeah Jake Paul. Those are real tough. And then right into the aforementioned UFC 309. Yeah, did that with GC as well. But yeah, we're done. Duke Madduck, I'll leave it with this on the way out.
Starting point is 01:03:47 Thoughts on Anthony Winskala. Loved it. Loved the call out. I thought it was a wonderful poll. Like, that dude's got juice. His post fight thing was, I really love his. He has, I think it's an incredible gimmick. I don't care about fighting, but this is.
Starting point is 01:04:03 is the way like this is what God has chosen for me to to represent him like honestly I kind of love that just like I actually don't want to do this give me Sean shan very funny to me and then give you Sean shiraph yeah peace out everybody it's great we'll see you tomorrow and on to the next one bye bye love y'all
