You're listening to the Vox Media Podcast Network.
The victory horns, and they sound for Killens Salkild, who, golly, man, made very quick work of Matush Gamrod.
Just runs them over.
Fight was not even really all that competitive, which surprised me a little bit.
I thought Quimma would have like a little bit of a hot start.
Gamrot would survive and live to fight another.
round or two or three or four, but
not the case.
Not the case at all. What a performance from
the young man to Schammerad
probably has
officially eliminated himself from
title contention forever,
but still
is a problem for a lot of guys 155, but
Quill and Selkilde just sent a pretty big
message to the rest of the lightweight division
as we welcome you to the UFC Vegas 120
post fight.
show. I am Mike Heck. My best friend Alexander Cayley is going to join me in just a little
day. He's just finishing up some stuff on the back end, but because folks, we don't need to be here
all night. It was an event that happened. It was fun as we expected it would be. There was
some good, some bad, but a lot of fun, honestly. It was not a bad Saturday night of fights
whatsoever. But what a performance from Quill and Salkild. Pretty,
pretty wild stuff man he lands a jab early he busts open matush gamrot fight hits the floor
gamrott ends up getting a heel hook at one point it's looking pretty nasty
salkild's just kind of shaking it off they get back to to the feet and cell killed shoots a double
leg gets a beautiful takedown gets top control gamrots trying to scramble out salkeld keeps the control
ends up taking the back, getting the hooks in, locks in an RNC, gets the tap and the thing is over.
What a performance, man.
I mean, what else can you say?
Had is off to him.
I will say this was, I will give this night for him an A-minus.
It should have been an A-plus.
The man gets a live microphone in his face, knowing full well, if he calls out the right name, he is a chance of getting it.
called them Matush Gamrott.
I was like, ooh, this is a really good call it.
I don't know if they're going to give it to him,
but they gave it to him.
And what does he do here?
What does he do?
I don't care.
I'm paraphrasing.
Give me anybody in the top five.
I'm here to tell you, he ain't fighting anybody in the top five.
If he had a name and a callout,
probably they might think about it a little bit.
But let's take a look at the rankings right now.
Let's just take a gander at it.
And I'm not saying this is fair, by the way, because I would love to see these fights.
I'd love to see these fights.
Patty Pimblit, zero chance.
Max Holloway, zero chance.
Charles Olivera, zero chance.
Armand Sarukin, zero chance.
Iliot's poor, zero chance.
He has no shot of fighting either of these guys.
You call out a name, you call out somebody, maybe you're at least planting some seeds for the next thing.
Maybe BSD?
I think he's going to fight Raphael Fiziv.
That's why I think he's going to fight.
He's going to drop pretty far back in the conversation.
And that's okay.
What he did do tonight, though,
was something very important for your career.
And he is not going to fight
in the world's most famous apex ever again
unless it's in the main event.
He is not a mid-card apex guy ever again.
he's not
what they should do is find their way back to australia
in some way shape or form
and
just do a fight night there i don't care how you do it
just do a fight night and put him in the main event
although they were very loud at the world's most famous apex for him
so yeah good performance i wish he had a name just to
create a little bit of a headline
especially if you're targeting the top five but
yeah man he's uh...
I was impressed.
I was impressed.
Not that I wasn't sold on him,
because even my breakdown of the fight was,
listen,
he's going to learn a valuable lesson tonight.
It's not like he's going to get the doors blown off of him.
He's going to have a hot start.
It's going to rot out of steam.
Gamrodot's just going to gamrod them and win a decision.
And then I kind of talked myself into maybe a gamut finish,
but that obviously didn't happen.
And Salkil just made quick work of him.
And while it was impressive, there's a part of me, it was just like, damn, I wish,
I wish this dragged out a little bit longer to see, like, how this would look.
But, I mean, just the way it all, just the way it all kind of played out,
it was just really impressive with him using the grappling, him using the wrestling.
And, I mean, what else can you say?
Go fight Raphael Fiziv in a main event.
Be pretty sick.
Maybe BSD.
It's probably the best he could hope for.
right now because like I said he's he's just not getting anybody in the top five right now because
and it's not because like he doesn't deserve it he certainly does but like you think any of those
guys are going to be like yeah I'll fight this dude that nobody knows but is really good there you have it
great performance we'll see where he goes but yeah I think I'll probably land on Fiziv as my
official otno pick we're going to record on Monday so you guys have a little extra time but
yeah Raphael Fiziv some sort of main event or
or main card spot on numbered card somewhere.
That works just for me.
That works for how pretty well.
Good win for Diego Fajeda, beating Billy Correntillo.
Billy just, Billy looked real slow in there.
Diego looked great.
Lightweight's the best division in the sport.
It was on full display tonight, no doubt about it.
CDF, like to see him back in there soon rather than later.
I know that's what he wants as well.
The Darren Elkins retirement fight went even sadder than we thought it would go.
He just gets hit one time by Yadir Davali and fight is over.
Like the fight was literally over seconds later.
35 seconds it was done.
DeValle celebrated like he just won the world title.
But then he had a great post-fight interview.
I was like, what's he going to do?
What's he going to say?
He's going to call out Volkovsky.
Is he going to say something silly?
But he didn't.
He took the time to put over Darren and I think it was his wife's birthday or something and shouted her out.
So good win for him.
Alexia Tynera beats Amanda Lemmo.
She continues to move up the divisional ladder.
Ty Miller beat the soul out of Billy Ray Goff and shame on Billy Ray Goff's corners.
I don't care who you are or what you have to say.
The fact that you let this dude come out in the third round with a broken orbital, which I'm sure is the case.
craziness.
And your advice to him was like, run away.
Just run.
Get away from him.
Just throwing this towel.
Just say we're done here.
And then Ty Miller hits him right in the broken fucking orbital and knocked the dead in the third round.
And this is a shame.
Shameful stuff from the corner.
Ty Miller proves to 8.0.
He's somebody to watch.
She's a big ass dude for this division.
Stephen Aspland defeats Guillemay Pat.
In a fight that happened, end up being a really fun third round.
Aspland is just a character, no doubt about it.
D.R. Nargazai gets the knocko.
The knocko went over Bruno Lopez.
Jose Montagna submits Louis Sutherland in the first round.
So look, we thought that that stretch of fights could get a little heavy weighty
slash light heavy weighty and end up being a pretty decent stretch.
Manuel Soza, Richie Miranda lived up to the hype.
Two dudes to do just beat the hell out of each other.
That fight rocked.
It was awesome.
That was my fight of the night.
I don't know if it's going to get it, but it should.
Miles Johns knocks out Gianni Vasquez,
Julianna Miller,
submits Reveena Oliveira.
I think we have to be done with the Reveena Oliveira.
In the UFC chapter,
and then Carol Foro and Gigi Canuto
had themselves quite the fight.
Quite the fight.
All in all, this is a good card.
This is a fun.
watch. So we'll take some questions and then we'll get AK in here because look, there's,
there's just not a lot of like, there's just not a lot of like storyline coming out of this.
There's really, like, we're just ready to pretty much turn the page to UFC 330 weekend and all
that it entails. But let's give it the respect they deserve. Let's talk to all of you guys.
A.K. will join us in a minute to discuss as well. Ha, ha, ha, ha, apologize, Thrill host, 9-1-1.
apologize for what what do you want me to apologize for made a pretty fair prediction didn't say
he was bad fighter didn't say it no chance do 101 what do you want me to say i'm not got
apologize for a pretty sound prediction coswell gamron has officially entered gatekeeper status
yeah probably yeah i mean i'm trying to look at the division right now it's got to be him right
Like he's like the
He's the top gatekeeper
I mean Dan Hooker's probably like
The first tier
And then
Yeah Gamorot's probably like the
Let's get you over the hump
Into like the top 10
For real I would say
So yeah
I would say that's probably where he is right now
I mean he's his title hopes are officially cooked now
Not that they're really strong anyways
But yeah
Jay, with how bad the division is,
could ass one ever crack the top 10?
Oh, God.
Ever?
I mean, let's take a look at the rankings here.
We'll go with the meta rankings.
Let's see.
Could you beat Ryan Span?
Maybe.
Could you beat Mick Parkin?
Maybe.
Maybe Mario Pinto, Brando Perich.
Yeah, maybe.
We could also lose to all those dudes.
And then when we get to the top 10, he's not beaten any of those guys.
He's not being Blades.
He's not being Spivak.
He's not being Walker, Waldo, Josh Hokit, Kooniev, et cetera.
Could he beat the Brando Parachix of the world?
Sure.
It's possible.
I think eventually what needs to happen for him is he needs to fight Gable Steven.
And I'm not talking about like this year.
I'm talking like,
Gable's going to run over Sean Shoroff,
and then Gable should fight like Max Jimenez,
and then fight like, who did,
then fight Giermey Pat and then fight Stephen Aspland.
And then we could start talking about, like, the ranked fighters.
Because I think, I think Gable is going to be a guy
you're going to just see a lot of.
He's going to be fighting like every two or three months
and just running dudes over.
And that's exactly how they should book him.
They're in no rush with Gable.
But they should build eventually to that Aspline fight.
For sure.
Joseph is the top five of lightweight, rank, squatting.
He shouldn't have to fight backwards.
Well, I mean, like, what do you want to do?
Like, Ilya is probably fighting Patty or Charles or Matt.
I mean, he's, there's options here.
There's, there just is.
what I like Paddy's win is better right he gave Gagy a tough fight
Max yeah is coming off a win Charles is coming off of a dominant win over Max
Holly which is a much better win than what Salkil did
Armin should be fighting for the belts but he's going to go run over Marisha Ruffy
and then fight for the belt and then there's Ilya Teporia who
was just the champion.
Like he's just, it's not squatting.
He's just not going to get that fight right now.
And that's okay.
That's okay.
Totally fine.
How do you, I mean, it just kind of depends on how you rank Gamrod.
Media rankings, he was number eight,
which would put him below Benoit Santini,
puts him below Mauritia Ruffi,
which I think is somewhat fair.
Fizizier's perfect.
It's not even like that big of a step back, honestly.
Speaking of, Quill and Salkild and what he could do?
The co-mast raker is here.
Alexander Kay Lee, okay, hello.
Oh, hello, everyone.
What did you think of Quill and Salkild?
I was, I was amazing.
Mike, are you getting along with the viewers?
It sounded like you're already, it's not like we're getting snippy.
What's going on?
I'm not snippy.
People are asking me, someone demanded me to apologize.
And did you?
No.
For saying a guy who might lose a competitive.
fight to a guy who's pretty good at fist fighting and we'll learn a valuable lesson and soon
climb his way back up the ranks.
Like that was, if my official breakdown of the fight was like, man, Quill and Salkil's
overrated, he sucks, he's going to get dusted.
Yeah, I'll apologize for that.
But just like, hey, he's going to have a good first round.
Then Gamroddy's going to do Gamroddy things and win.
And then he'll go back to the drawing board and build his way back up the toughest division
in the sport.
Yeah, I don't need to apologize for that.
Listen, I'm very bad at sort of figuring out what prospects are going to, like, hit, like that moment where they make the jump.
And so I'm usually pretty cautious with these things.
So I was with you.
I was like, yeah, yeah, you know, Gamrod survived the first round, survived the second round.
Boom, he's got he's going to cruise.
He's got more five-round experience.
But I certainly did not expect to Saul-Kill submission.
Even though we know Saul-Kill can grapple.
Like, this isn't the first time we've seen in grapple.
We've seen, like, decent defensive grappling when he beat Malarkey by submission.
Like, he's not afraid to go to the ground.
And we just thought like, well, that's not his best way to win the fight.
He's got to keep it on the feet.
Just showed amazing versatility and maturity for a guy who's 26 years old.
Only 14 fights into his pro career.
It's unbelievable.
So, yeah, I was just wowed.
What a nice way to cap off.
Very similar to Belgradey, right?
This is like how it had a Belgradey feel, didn't it, this card?
Like, we had quite a few finishes.
I think we had a couple of more, like, fights, like actual memorable fights than we had,
like back and forth fights that we had on on belgrade and then capped off by like a star making
performance right by a guy getting a huge win over a more established name like they were favored
because medic was favored over um dal marriguez as well but there was still that element of like
well you got to make it over that hump you've got to live up to the odds you got live up to the
hype and uh medich did and solkiel even more impressive like medici was great win for him
this was unreal like submitting the um so uh good stuff and but i apologize everyone for my lighting
setup i've kind of have i've had some guests over so i've kind of had to move around my space a little
bit. I'll figure this out next time you see my my ugly face on camera.
All good. Some super chats causal shameful cornering slash officiating for Gough Miller.
Boy. He had to have taken 40 an answer shot in the second. It was not coming back. When is it
enough? Yeah. I already shit on the corner of Billy Ray Goff and just atrocious, just atrocious stuff,
especially when you hear them, you see this dude with like a broken eye socket essentially.
And they're like, yeah, go back out there and just run away from him. That's the,
that's the corner advice, not go out there and not, you have to go knock him out.
It's just run, just run, run away.
Just stop the fucking fight.
Why are you letting him fight?
I don't understand this.
I hated that.
I hated that.
I think this is the first time we've seen Billy in a while too.
So I don't know, he's already like dealing with some injuries and then having to have
to like walk into this situation.
So, yeah, just do better.
You know, I don't know.
I don't know what they're in thinking like, like maybe just in the moment, you know,
wires are getting crossed.
They think their guy still.
has a chance and they're telling him to play it safe for the first it made no sense right
completely counterintuitive cornering if you're going to send someone out for that that third round
miracle it sounded like they thought if he goes the makes manages to go the distance like I don't
think he makes more money or anything I don't think we'd view the fight differently I don't think
we'd be like oh man he gave tie Miller a really tough fight because it went the full 15 and he
ran away no difference very strange so just do better guys
It's just, I don't know.
I don't want to name names.
I don't know.
I actually don't know golf's corner that well, to be honest.
So not going to do a huge call out here, but it was bad.
It was bad.
We need to do better than that.
Who's the referee in that fight?
Herzog, I believe.
Well, yeah, he deserves a little blame as well.
He could have stopped.
He could have stopped it.
He could have stopped.
We need Sal Kil versus Armin way more than Ruffy.
I'll tell you what, man.
I do feel that Sal Kild is a more competitive fight for Armin right now than
Marisha.
Ruffy.
Having said that, if you're, if you're Salkild, like, stay ready.
I was going to say, would you advise him to step in within a month's notice to take that
one billion percent?
But here's the thing, though.
If I'm arm and if I'm arm in, you've already, like, you had Charles, right?
And like, a pretty much straight up number one contender fight.
Then you say yes to Ruffy.
And then Ruffy bows.
and now you have to go against Sal killed.
If I'm, if I'm, if I'm Armin, I'm taking a, I'm taking a second to ponder this decision
making.
I would pick Armin to win, but that's a different fight right now.
Like he's got, he's got momentum, no doubt about it, but like, Riffie's coming off the,
you know how the UFC views.
Ruf, they put him on the freaking White House card to just annihilate an American fighter.
That's how they feel about this guy.
So, yeah, I don't see it happen.
However, I will tell you what I'm now incredibly interested in.
Where is it?
How about Usen or Magam Adop versus Quill and South Guild?
I got to tell you, wasn't super into this.
I needed to kind of see what I saw today, but I got to, like, this might be, this might be the fight.
Now, if I'm his management team, I ain't touching that fight with a 10 foot hole, dude.
I'm not doing it.
I'm staying away from him, but like, I kind of want to see it.
I kind of want to see it.
These are the two young hot shits in this division right now.
And again, I keep seeing people.
People I even work with that are saying,
Usun Narmagham Adov would destroy Arm and Saruket in a fist fight.
And I'm like, I still roll my eyes.
I don't even know if Usen Ramagamatov could beat Quill and Sal killed right now.
Like, that's why I want to see this fight.
But again, I would understand the trepidation.
And that's a future potential title fight, something you can build towards.
But boy, it's a hell of a debut fight for Rusun and Armaghamedoff, is it not?
It's by far the toughest fight of his career.
Yeah, it wouldn't be my number one choice for either guy, for either guy.
For Usman, like you said, the risk of being exposed, like exposed in your first year of C-Buy
fight against a guy who, again, might be a top four, like lightweight, just basically what we've seen from Selt killed.
Like I know the resume isn't there yet, the experience isn't there yet.
But, you know, hey, two back-to-back wins now off of ranked guys.
I know Darius was like on his way out.
I get it.
People don't want to count that.
But he was ranked.
He was ranked when Sal Kil beat him.
And certainly Cameronrod firmly in the top 10.
I think whatever rankings you're looking at,
MA fighting rankings, UFC meta rankings, media rankings,
which everyone has Gamera on the top 10.
So he's very well established.
But he doesn't have like quite the name value.
And he's very dangerous.
So like for Usman and Megamatov, there's that factor.
And for Sal Kild, I mean, I'm sure he'd do it.
But also, Usman doesn't have a ton of name value either.
Like, I don't even, like, it would be comparable to Mateer's scamrod amongst, like, your average
MMA fan, probably comparable.
Maybe Lusman is a little bit harder right now.
Of course, all the buzz are on him being a free agent and everything.
But it would be a pretty high risk fight for both guys.
So not my first choice, but we are at the point, Mike, after this performance night,
where if it happened, I wouldn't like bad an eye.
I wouldn't be like, oh, wow, I can't believe they did that.
I'd be like, oh, cool.
Cool.
Like, like that, not my first choice, risky fight for both guys, but also, why not?
Sal kill because it's that or Sal killed fights back.
I think the only way for him to fight a guy ranked ahead of him is a guy not in the UFC.
Because I think if I go by our rankings, we rank, you know, lightweight from every promotion.
I'm pretty sure we would have Uzman, you know, number five, number six.
After this win, I would have Selt killed seven or eight, somewhere like seven or eight spot.
So he can move up.
He's not getting Charles, not getting engaged you, not getting all any of these guys that are you talked about.
Can it get a guy who's going to get signed of the UFC and who we consider a top six lightweight in the world?
Yeah, maybe.
God, I got to tell you.
He would, that would have been the call-out of the year if he called a Usen-Rog.
Sign here and come get so.
That would have been, honestly, that would have been the best call-out of 2026.
I would have found a way to award him something if he called it,
an Usman there.
So currently in my rankings, I have, let's see, I have Sal killed,
I had Sal killed at 14, I'd Gammer at a 13.
Okay.
But I'm going to jump him up a bunch of spots.
I'll probably he'll be in my top 10 certainly.
Yeah, he'll definitely be in the top 10 where I'm going to put him not really sure.
I've Ustman at seven.
So yeah, I mean, he's got to get a big jump up in my rankings for sure.
You had, I think you have Gameron number 10, Damon had him at 10,
Guy had him at 10, and Jed had him at 11.
So apparently I was the one disrespecting Gamrop by having him at 13.
But I mean, three and two in your last five in a division.
like this like it's very difficult to climb so there's my other idea Sal killed versus the
winner of Moikano and Ortega could be the first person to finish Ortega in the UFC if Ortego
somehow wins in classic Ortega fashion so yeah you can do that I mean I like the Uspin I like
to Usman fighting the winner of that fight in his debut but yeah we could do that as well yeah
I've just seeing a lot of the the comments are very they're very bullish on giving him a top five
top six guy again it's hard I just it's just hard to
I'll look again, but I mean, and we'll talk about it more.
We should tell people who watch on to the next one.
We'll probably recording Monday.
Yeah, that's what I told him.
So, yeah, we'll have like a day.
I think you and I'll have a day to kind of simmer and maybe think about it.
But just at a glance, I'm really struggling to see who shakes out of the top five.
And it can fight him within the next like four months before the end of the year.
There's just no chance that happens.
I don't see.
I just don't see who.
I don't see how it can happen.
If by some chance, if by some chance, one of these names can't fight until like early 2027,
maybe Quillen sneaks in one of those fights,
but it just,
it feels like all those guys in the top five,
top six are kind of destined to dance with each other right now.
But yeah,
but that's why we like the Usma suggestion
because he's kind of,
he's kind of in there,
but like,
yeah,
the only chance he's getting to fighting any of these guys is Olivera.
And if they,
that's only if they booked like some sort of fight night card in like Rio again.
And they gave Olivera like,
Ilya or somebody like that or in a rematch
or somebody in that actual or Patty.
And then Patty gets,
gets hurt a week before, then they call Quill and then send him in because Charles would stay on the
card to fight in Brazil, just like he did with Gamrod and he just dusted Gamrod.
Other than that, he's just not going to get any of those fights.
It's not his fault.
Like, he's done everything to get him in this position, but none of those guys are going to be
like, yeah, I'll fight him.
Just not worth that the risk and reward levels are just not where they need to be for those guys.
What about Killen versus Diego Lopez, AK?
I actually like this idea too.
Maybe the headline UFC Perth or the next Australia card.
Because again, Diego, like if I were to rank him a lightweight,
I would rank him lower than Quill and Salkhild.
But in terms of name value, Diego Lopez is way ahead of Quill and Salkild.
I mean, to the, we know this because the UFC is giving him a hard push,
fans are for the most part embraced it.
The guy's headline like two pay-per-views.
Man, I'm going to steal that.
Harmon, I'm going to steal that for odd.
No, I don't know yet.
I don't know yet.
I haven't made my pick.
I'm kind of just mulling it over still.
Like there's some safer picks.
man, I like the guy of the names you guys talking out there.
Usman and Diego Lopez.
Yeah, get outside the box a little bit.
Ali Usen's manager wants Ilya to pour you.
Of course he wants Ilya to pour you.
Of course.
He wants to bring him the guy who his other client just beat the shit out of
and then like try to throw him in there as like a soft,
maybe what he perceives is a softened up version of the prior number one pound for pound fighter
in the world in a lot of people's eyes.
So yeah, I mean, if I'm the, if I'm,
If I'm Usman's manager, I'm calling for that fight too.
But he ain't getting it.
They're not going to do Ilya for Usman either.
So I just want to just get it grab a waffle.
Sorry, someone in the comment was saying he's guaranteed top.
I'm multiple people are saying.
I want to say waffles 4393.
And he's saying, do Bronx.
Hmm.
I don't know.
I just think Charles will hold.
Charles is not going to fight cool and sell kill, right?
He could fight Patty.
He could fight Patty.
He's probably going to fight Patty Pimble at next.
He could get,
Eddie, he could honestly, if Armand, again, and I really don't think he's guaranteed,
I know that's out there that, oh, USC is guaranteed Armin a title shot.
I don't believe they've guaranteed him anything.
I still think they could just rebook him and Charles.
I mean, that would suck.
Graham to have to beat Ruthie and then end up fighting Charles.
But honestly, I think that's more likely than Charles having to fight self-kill,
because Charles's going to wait.
Charles is going to wait for one of these big names in the top five that he can get.
I don't think he's the guy to say no to anything.
but I think him that you see have like an understanding like he's he's one of these big fights needs to
happen before we put him up against the like the colon cell kills of the world he's just like 50-44
max holloway and he's enough like quill and sow killed like why would you do that I do want to see it
though because that fight would be sick as hell I do want to see it someday yeah just make it yeah yeah
look matush camera is a is a good it's a very good win it's a very good win but like camera is now three and three
his last six fights.
So like,
that to me is not like always guaranteed top five, right?
You just,
you got to work a little bit more.
Like even Armin Sarukian,
who probably should have been fought for the belt two years ago.
Yeah.
Had to fight Dan Hooker last year.
Well, he had his chance, Mike.
He had his chance.
He did.
But still, like,
he fought,
he fought Dan Hooker.
What Kulenzal killed is learning,
by the way,
is that you get over,
not because you fight top five dudes
of things of that nature,
is because you fight.
You just get in there and fight.
That's true.
Dude is very active.
He fights a lot.
So he stays on everybody's minds.
So my advice,
since he's not going to get any of these top five guys,
is just fight whoever they give you.
And any card.
If they offer you something for L.A., you take it.
Take and run.
Get on that arm and Ruffy card.
Fight any of these dudes.
Can he?
You just have me thinking of the,
I didn't realize this was his third fight of the year.
Um, can he pass or has he passed Josh Hokit for breakout?
I guess he's not a break.
I guess he didn't break out this year.
He broke out.
I guess we wouldn't give him that.
Well, no.
No, he broke up pretty big.
That that hack frass head kick.
Come on, dude.
Okay.
Yeah.
He will be in the running for Fighter of the year, top five.
Fighters, I think top, maybe not number one.
Yeah, he's in the run.
But like, but like, he could still be breakout because people like liked him and they're like,
oh, he's, he's a very good prospect.
But now he's, now we're like all these breakthrough.
months later
we're saying he should be fighting Charles Olivera
but that he that's that is a breakout year
no doubt about it
Hokit but no dude he's not
Hokit's got that lock
Hokic can lose his next three fights this year
and still get it
I don't think of Quillander I don't know what does
Quillander because in there before the end of the year
everybody talks about everybody Josh Josh
Josh Hockeet passes like
I'm not going to say he passes the public's test
but he's pretty damn close like he's he's that
over whether you like him or not
Quillen ain't passing
a lot of those tests right now. We love
them. We're the hardcores
of the hardcores. We're the one watching every,
we're the ones watching every single week.
We understand what this dude brings to the table.
Let's see.
Did you see Cole Gruber
2995? I don't know if you saw this.
We're both named.
He says, can Mike and AK,
please at least entertain the idea of Quillan versus
Max? Talk about it in terms of both the fight
and the vaguest possibility of it happening.
Man.
Again, these are all fights I want to see.
I think are cool.
But I mean, I think that's even less likely than Charles.
Yeah.
Maxine, here's the thing about Max.
Max does not need to fight anymore.
Like, he just fights because he likes to get a paycheck.
He makes a good amount of money outside of fighting.
He's got sponsorships.
does the video game stuff, which he makes a bag and a half doing.
He is a crossover star in like the video game world and the streaming world and all that stuff.
Like so he is so popular.
He just like if I'm Max Holloway, like I literally am not fighting any unless they offer him a title fight.
He shouldn't fight anybody until like next summer.
He should just wait for Connor and just cash another bag, man.
Like I know nobody wants to really see that fight.
but like if Connor McGregor demands the UFC like,
hey,
international fight week,
like I want to do the Max Holloway fight and they offered to Max,
was he going to say,
well,
the fans might not want to see it?
No,
he's going to say,
no,
let's cash that big ass check that we're going to make in order to
be able to do.
And you know what?
He probably makes more money the second time around fighting
Connor McGregor because you can play the game.
He can entice him a little bit more.
So why would he fight Quill and Sellkild
when he could like make life changing,
end his career money,
fighting connor gregor a second time you know what i mean so he is in great position to just sit back and
wait uh now if the fight were to happen boy that's interesting that's an interesting fight
i think i think quillan submitting gamrod would make uh max even more hesitant to want to fight him
and that's almost mistake it's like it's like it's also like very good take down defense he does he does
very good take down yeah i know i know everyone's going to look at the charles outside of charles fight
yeah back guys good take down there's like guys outside outside of the charles fight yeah back guys
of that fight he had never been done now again maybe maybe uh that exposed something maybe also
you know max is just a little bit has lost a little bit a step that allows him to be an elite take down
guy plus kwon salkil is also huge that'd be the other concern is he's a big guy big 1505er and it's not
out of the realm of possibility to imagine him if he wanted to i just don't think he would but if he
wanted to like trying to employ a similar strategy of charles and just grabbing max and kind of tossing him
around because he is big man he was big i don't know if he's like an elite
or take down guy, but he would have a lot of size on Max.
So I don't know.
Max are not fighting him.
It's just not going to happen.
That's just the problem with a lot of the guys in the top five.
They're veterans.
They don't need to fight anytime soon.
They're just on a different pass.
Quillen needs to get back in there within the next, I would say, maybe early 27, 27,
the latest, preferably before the end of the year.
These other guys that all in the top, most of the top five, they don't.
They don't need to.
They're chill.
How long shouldn't Michael Chandler's career and lose out on any chance he has to
fighting for the belt. He's not fighting for the belt. He just got, he just got dominated by Charles
Olivera. Like, he's so far away from a title shot. You know what I mean? Like, I mean, I know
there's the Gagchi knockout and stuff like that, but like, he's not even in the conversation right now.
You know what I mean? Like, he needs to do more. And there's no guarantee Justin Gichi fights again
at this point. So, like, he's just got to sit back and like, hope Justin keeps fighting.
right? Because like, if Justin
loses the belt, then like all his chances
of fighting for the belt go away.
So like he needs Justin to like handpick
him in the UFC to be like
bet. But even then, he could just
wait for that phone call. And if it's not
Gaetchi for the belt or not Connor, then
why would he fight anybody?
He's fine. He doesn't need to
fight again. Truly does not
need to fight again.
If he doesn't want to.
Yep. And he will be just as happy as he is
now.
so
Quillin's so big
I wish there's a way
for him to fight Jalen Turner
see that's fun
I'd love that
it's again it's a shame
that they're very far apart
in the rankings right now
but yeah yeah
love that
too bad
yeah two just gigantic
lightweights
who probably should be
Walter Wades
but see this is why
like people were asked to be earlier
like
there were certain media members
saying like oh he looks so bad
on the scale he needs to move up
I'm like no
what are we talking about here
he's he's
he's fine. He's just, he's just a big, big guy. If he misses, starts missing weight,
then we could start having this conversation. But he's 26. He can make it plenty more times.
Eventually, he's probably going to have to make the move up, much like Patty. And I thought
Jalen Turner would have been a welterweight like many years ago, but yeah.
Mike, I'm going to, I'm going to hop off in a second, but we have bonuses.
Oh, what are they?
Did you guess? Well, did you get? What was your, what was your guesses? I'll, I won't say it.
What was your guess? Is there a fight of the night?
There is.
Yes, there is.
Soza Miranda.
She gave fight of the night.
Soza, Miranda.
Okay, keep going.
Sal Guild's getting a performance bonus for sure.
Yep, correct.
And, oh, let me just take a gander.
Not Alexia Tynar, Mike.
You're not getting another 50 points.
I know.
She was my hope for me.
Miles Johns?
No.
Montania.
Montania's going to get it.
No, that would have been a good one, too.
Wow, that would have been amazing for my.
and tanya to get a hundred grand in his first UFC fight uh they gave it to tie miller
oh for the for the for the you know what for the for the billy ray golf getting sent out to slaughter
uh he better give 50 grand to billy's coaches jesus christ yeah uh that's an odd so saul killed
miller and then what was fighting in the night oh sorry uh oh it was uh sorry yeah it was not
susette miranda very good fight though it was uh the comit of it the comian pay that okay
Yeah, no problem there.
Yeah, I would have gone Miles John's over.
Tye for one of those bonuses.
That was sick, dude.
You got dropped bad, and then he just gets up and killed him.
Yeah, even Montana would have been nice.
Oh, well, well, okay, congratulations at Tybaryla.
I don't want to criticize.
It was a great performance.
You know, it was a great performance overall, so he does deserve it.
This should be, like, we say, we complain sometimes, like, oh, they reward people for, like, just the highlight and not the overall performance.
It was a great performance overall.
So, yeah, you know, it given his 100 kick.
Yeah. Well, all right.
There's our bonuses.
And Mike, I will dip off for now.
Enjoy, guys, enjoy Mike's company.
And we'll be back on Monday, Mike, you and I with, onto the next one.
Yes.
Because this is kind of a hard one to match me before.
I'm not going to lie.
I'm telling you, I might be stealing the Southfield versus Euston-Ramagreta fight because I want that.
Yeah.
I think that's it.
I think that's it.
And honestly, like I said, that would have been the best call out of the year if he just said,
hey, Ousman, you think you're king's shit.
Bring it over here, baby.
Bring it over here.
You want to see, you want to prove your,
you want to prove you the best lightweight in the world?
Everyone's saying you're the best light of the world.
Come fight me.
Come fight me.
I'll give you the litmus test.
That'd have been awesome.
I might steal Diego Lopez from Harmon.
So Harmon, if you're out there,
I'm just making a note now.
Or just steal out everybody's picks.
This is the only reason why we're here.
Pretty much.
That's actually the only thing.
I stopped in, yeah.
I stopped in, yeah.
This for, no.
Okay, Mike.
Have fun.
I will see you later, later this evening, probably.
All right.
All right.
There is.
The great Alexander Kay Lee joining me for a few moments.
And I'll stick with you guys for a few more moments as well.
Answer a few more questions.
Coswell, who is the higher ceiling?
Ty Miller or Alexia Tyner.
I will say Tyner because of the division she's in.
She has a better chance of fighting for a title than.
than Ty Miller, but Ty is good, man.
He's just in a deeper division.
So I just think Tyner is going to be like a perennial ranked contender in that division for years and years to come.
So, dude, Gary's getting a title shot because he didn't let the UFC just give him whatever.
And he was like super interesting.
And also he had to fight a bunch of like hard fights, man.
He fought Shafcott,
fought Balal, who's a former champion.
Gary's paid his dues.
I think it's definitely fair to say he's paid his dues
a lot more than Quill and Salkild has at this point.
So, yeah, by the way,
I wouldn't have given Gary the shot either.
I would have given it to Morales.
I think Morales deserves it more than anybody.
But this is the world we live in.
But now we have, we have the,
the chance, ladies and gentlemen,
one week from right now for the funniest thing
to ever happen in the history of the sport.
And it wouldn't be that way
if it was Michael Morales fighting.
Chas, first fight the night was a banger.
Yeah, it was. It was a very good fight.
Carol Foro and Judge Gigi Canuto.
Is women's M.A. on the comeback.
Tons of finishes in the last few months.
Interesting fighters entering contendership.
I wouldn't say it's on the comeback.
But, yeah.
10 hour thoughts
in her 2027
um
she's she's a problem for a lot of fighters in this division
do I think she gets her title shot
mm
no no
where she gonna be ranked now
well I'mos is just the most
is the most frustrating fighter
to watch maybe in the entire world
because you know she's she can
you know she's got it
you know she can be good
and then she just like stops doing the things that make her good.
It's she is just so frustrating to watch.
But I don't know.
The meta rankings like are crazy with that division.
Come on now.
Uh, to where are we here?
So 10 hours 12, Lemos was 8.
Where are I?
Hmm, interesting.
I mean, they have loopy at seven in the media rankings,
but I think 10 hour beats loopy.
I don't know.
Maybe that's the fight.
Maybe we do loopie.
Maybe we do loopie.
Go fight loopie.
Do that this year.
And then 2027,
Verna, or like a Jan,
Jaunan, or a Tatiana Suarez.
Yeah.
Ryan, well, the Red Sox are past Tampa
to win the division.
I don't know.
Think they'll win the division,
but they're going to make a lengthy run in the playoffs.
Chas, Dakota was interviewed on the MVP card saying
she wants to box, thoughts.
Sure.
I have zero interest in that, by the way.
Just want to throw it.
that out there. Zero interest. Go fight Liz Karmouche. That's all I care about. Go fight her. I don't
think that fight goes very well for Dakota, but that's the one. Go fight her. And then if you want to go
box, go box. But you have to fight her. Go fight Liz Karmouche, then box as much as you want.
I'm starting to believe she's not going to be fighting in the UFC. I'm starting to believe that dream is
dying. She's just going to keep taking the bag and now they're going to let her box.
They're literally going to let her do whatever she wants. So why would she leave? She's going to make
so much money with them. They're going to push her in such a way. And yeah, I kind of feel like
she ain't coming. Which is a bummer. But she could be the face of MVPFL and make a bag and go box.
she loves the gloves.
I don't mind Morales getting a chance
to mature a little as a contender.
I mean, what else does he need to do?
They did literally like a,
they did like a whole Grand Prix in November.
It was just like they made all these matchups
with all the top contenders.
And it was a who did it better kind of thing.
And Michael Morales,
by a mile,
did it better than anybody else.
And to me,
like,
He's the most interesting matcher for Islam Machchev right now.
Stylistically.
He's the most interesting matchup.
So, I mean, I just don't know.
Like the only, I mean, Ali's already out there being like, no.
It's not Morales either.
And I'm just like, he's saying what I would say.
I would try to, I try not to fight him either.
He's probably going to.
I think Pratcha stylistically is a better matcher for Islam than Michael Morales is.
I could be wrong about that.
I don't know.
He's just dusting everybody.
Like, no one has anything for him.
So,
if he's not getting the title fight,
neither is proxious.
They're just going to have to have them fight each other.
And then one of them is just gone from the title picture,
as opposed to, like,
starting a cue.
And it's a bummer.
This is like nobody else interesting for Morales right now.
Russell destroy Jack Delamadela.
There's nobody else.
He'll kill Bonfee.
None of these matchups are interesting.
So they're just going to have to kill off one of the contenders.
And I don't like that too much.
Duke, Mike, I don't know if I've asked you this,
but do you agree with Joe Wani when he said Eddie Hearn
and his most qualified manager in MMA now that he's an MMA manager?
I mean, I don't know if he's
the most qualified MMA.
manager. He's the most qualified
like combat sports manager, certainly.
But it's a different world he's playing in right now.
And on top of that,
Eddie's not like managing like as far as I know.
And I could be wrong. Maybe they've added somebody that just haven't announced
yet. Like Eddie is not dealing with fighter contracts right now.
Like he's not negotiating deals with the UFC.
He's just doing like brand deals.
He's doing like business deals.
Like he's not negotiating Tom Aspinall's contract right now.
He's not, he didn't negotiate Ian Machado Gary's contract to fight is a Machochev.
So it's hard to say, it's hard to say.
I would say no.
I would say no.
As far as MMA goes.
Like obviously he has credentials for combat sports, but like it's a whole different ballgame if he's actually doing the deals.
He's in the room dealing with.
Hunter Campbell, he's not.
That's not his thing right now.
So I will slightly push back on that.
But if we're talking like just combat sports in general, yeah, it's it.
But MMA is just a piece of it.
And there's a slice of the pie.
It just really doesn't have his name on it.
What else we go?
A couple more we'll get out of here.
Clay Caldard's winning performance is BKFC debut.
Yeah, he should have been BKFC like five years ago.
But he's perfect for BKFC.
Morales versus Bala.
That fight is not competitive for a moment.
Blah,
Blah probably gets finished badly in that fight.
Probably just Morales.
I'm all about that chaos.
As am I.
I just,
I don't want to, like, lose a title contender right now.
So, like, just give Morales Islam if he wins,
and then, you know,
Prochers can either chill
Or maybe they can have them run it back with Gary or something
I don't know
There's plenty for everybody
It would have been if morale somehow beats Islam
Then you get Islam protches for the belt like that rocks
Diva wouldn't be hard to be the best MMA manager
Most of MMA managers feel more like you have seen employees and fighter managers
I mean there's certainly that going on
And there are others who are not like that
So they're at a full beer
This is about as long as I like it.
I actually don't like it this long.
I need to cut it down.
I've also been kind of feeling like shit all week.
So as I mentioned on the previous show,
there's like a couple times a year where like,
I get affected by allergies in South Carolina,
like seasonal stuff like all year.
But most of the year, like my body has just been acclimated to it
where like it would make a lot of people miserable.
But like I'm just so used to it.
And then there's like two or three.
times where like for a week, 10 days, two weeks stretch where it just, it just gets dumped on
even more. And that's, I'm in the middle of that right now. It's, it sucks. According to James
Lynch Brady was offered Amos off for the card, but declined. What for Philly? I mean,
that was kind of like, I actually really like that fight. To be honest with you, I don't know why we
decline. He declined that fight? Interesting.
Oh yeah, and then he's doing R.F. Yeah, I don't know. Interesting. Interesting.
330, Philly not having ranked Piper or Braid is the biggest UFSI in quite some time.
Yeah, man.
Brady, it should have been Brady and Bond theme on that card, and Piper,
I don't know what happened with Piper. I really don't know.
Piper, Brendan Allen seemed like the perfect fight to make for that card for me, but that's, dude,
that is, 330 is tough.
That's a tough main card, man.
Like, they finally showed it
because they hadn't, like, really confirmed,
like, what the full 330 card would look like.
At least the main card, but,
I mean,
look, we're getting the best pound for pound fire in the world,
so that makes up a lot of difference.
But, like, I love me, Charles Johnson.
I like watching that dude fight.
But is he a featured bout of a numbered events guy
against Jose Ochoa?
I just, I mean, come on.
And then we have Mansor Abdul Malik, Dustin Stoltzvus,
on a main card of a numbered event in the year of our Lord 2026.
Like, those are excellent prelimb fights.
But like main card fights, I don't know.
Edson Barbosa is about Rievich.
Like, that's going to be very fun.
But like, this is just, it's very top heavy.
will be the nice way to say it.
Michael, saw an article that's at ESPN
at issues of the PFL prelim the other night.
What streaming service do you see them going to?
I have no frigging clue, man.
I just don't see anybody like breaking down the door
to put MVPFL on their on their networks.
I just, my guess is they're going to,
MVP has a good relationship.
ship the SPN.
Something tells me they will step in and try to like save the day here.
So I will say they will be with the SPN and then they'll do like a couple big shows in
Netflix.
I just like they ain't going to be on Paramount.
Fox actually seemed perfect for me.
Like,
because you got RIF and RF's just like killing it for them.
So you would think like maybe you use RIF to kind of boost them.
I don't know.
I don't know what they're going to do.
I,
really, I'm absolutely fascinated by the MVPFL thing.
So far, I'm not loving what I'm seeing.
I certainly didn't love the broadcast last night.
We don't need John Martin interviews in the middle of cards.
We just, we don't.
I like John too.
And John's passion for the sport and like his knowledge of the sport is great.
I think, I thought Don Davis is like one of the great characters, personalities.
and like we didn't even get that.
Don is a way better character for television than John is.
And we didn't even get that with Don.
So I just, I don't understand this whole notion of like we have to have the brass on our broadcast as much as possible.
No one cares, no one wants to see that.
I assure you that nobody wants to see that.
nobody last night was like oh
not gonna take a piss right now
I have to hear what John Martin has to say
like no one said that
just get to the fucking fights
and get through them as quickly as possible
that will make people happy
because was that so all gone bigger
in the Middle East in October
at the place of the crime or NYC in November
I mean
I don't think it matters
but I don't think you're gonna get the former
I'll say that
could be wrong things can change
but I don't think it's happening at the scene of the crime.
331 is miles better than 3.30.
Yeah.
I mean, yeah.
I think 330 is a more competitive card.
But competitive isn't always fun.
So I think 331 will like go down smoother because I think there's a lot of like squash matches on 331.
330 is a pretty competitive lineup and just with just not a lot of star power.
Yeah. Are you doing PFL Tampa? No. Billy should be in PFL. I will not be doing PFL Tampa. I will be in Cleveland for R.F. I wasn't sure if I was going to go, but we're going. And with that, there will be a swing rounds probably filmed that week as well, which I'm very excited about. So there'll be some road warrior work the next few weeks. Jose will be in Philly.
I'll be in Cleveland next, the following week, and then I'll be,
God forbid, if it happens, uh, dual arena one, uh, I will be there for that as well.
Because I mean, come on.
My parents only living like an hour from there.
I am not missing out the chance to cover whatever that's going to be.
Cool.
Why not do one a month on Netflix?
Because Netflix is not going to pay for one a month.
They're just not, they don't have the roster for it.
They do not have the roster for it.
Netflix wants numbers.
You think Brian Battle, Dalton Rasta is the kind of card Netflix is going to want?
Hell no.
They don't have the horses for it.
How do they not get Piper on 330?
They had them.
You're supposed to fight, I guess, Kyle Bajolio, and I think Kyle got injured.
So I don't know why they didn't find a replacement.
That's why I kept saying, like, Brennan,
Allen should step in and take that fight.
I don't know what happened.
B32, Utah, Yamarab 3.
I'm hearing a different place in time for that, but
desperate times could be possible.
If we're not getting...
I think a lot of it is to depend on Kayla Harrison
for like how we book out the rest of the year.
You think Sutherland tapped too easily.
Choke looked tight, commentaries said that,
and then when he tapped, they said he tapped as the submission
I don't know.
I honestly didn't care enough to pay close attention.
I ate food from Cleveland once and grew a third leg.
Great corned beef in Cleveland?
Oh, okay.
Like that.
That's Perry Dennis, right?
Yes.
Phil Roe is boxing on that card, I just saw.
Jimmy Manoa is also boxing on that card against Richard Coulter.
Not on my bingo card ever.
but there you have it.
Ain't seen killing been the nail yet.
There you go.
Cleveland's a great food city.
I've been in Cleveland in a really long time.
I think it was like 96 was like the last time I was there.
Abu Dhabi would be Vulcan Ovsar.
Abu Dhabi might have two title fights.
Abu Dhabi probably will have two title fights.
Who surprised you the most tonight?
Who surprised me the most tonight?
I mean
Like Salco definitely surprised me
Not that I didn't think he was like capable of it
I just didn't think it would look like that
Like I thought he if he was gonna win
He was gonna kick him in the face
Or something like that
Um
I don't think really anybody
Really surprised me
Yeah there wasn't like a result where I was like holy shit
Can't believe that happened
it's probably just the way Sal killed won
but yeah
it's probably my answer but not I'm not surprised he won
I'm surprised how he won
chef Molly McCann
last loss aged great Alexi is great
yeah
if you guys remember the build to that
because we did our fantasy draft
and I drafted Molly McCann
for that draft because Molly McCann
was booked to fight Estella Nunes.
And I was like, dude,
like she's got to just rinse Estella Nunes.
I was like, she's like a minus 2,000 favorite in that fight.
And then Nunes didn't make it like the week before.
And they were like, now she's fighting Alexia Tynara.
And I was like, are you frigging kidding me?
I was like, you're giving her Tynara?
And I knew I was doomed.
I knew I was doomed.
Just watching her on Contender Series.
you know, six, seven months before that.
The way she looked in that fight,
I was just like, dude, she's going to kill Molly.
And I knew it.
And yeah, I immediately regretted my draft pick
the second they announced Tainara.
Is Valentina still a champion?
What happened to her?
I don't know.
She's probably fighting at yice, though.
I assume she'll be on one of these cards
that we've been discussing.
Parnas versus Usman,
who's got the higher ceiling,
probably Usman,
just because of the lineage and stuff,
but DuPartness rocks.
What did you think of the apex renovations?
I liked them.
It looked pretty cool.
It looked cool.
It still gave it a little bit more of a soul.
A little bit more of a soul.
Like, is it ideal, well, I now enjoy,
well, I now enjoy apex cards?
No, I won't.
Did it look better and feel better tonight?
Certainly.
Certainly.
Had a little bit of a soul.
That's where I'll leave it at that.
Really excited for next week's co-main event.
Listen, you all know me more than anybody in this space.
I am happy to put the hand, the accountability hand up when I am wrong.
I truly believe that McKenzie Dern is just going to run rough shot over Gillian Robertson.
I just, I feel it in my bones.
that this fight is not competitive.
So,
I could be wrong.
And again,
I will come on a post-fight show
or on the watch party next week
and be like, yeah, man,
I was wrong about that,
but I just,
I don't see how Gillian wins this fight.
All right,
a couple more we're going to go repfire.
Who'd you pick in a hypothetical Quillan
versus Patty matchup?
I'd probably pick Patty,
but not, like,
not with a lot of confidence.
W.C. Crowds,
but an apex crowd's,
hell yeah.
I didn't mind the two-person booth today, much less meaningless banter on the call.
It's a lot of DC.
That could be a lot.
He's tough being two-man.
They did a two-man with Cruz and Anik one time, and I was like, that actually hit pretty well.
Anik knows Cruz so well.
John's told me a million times if he ever got remarried,
like Dominic Cruz is going to be a groomsman kind of thing.
And I thought he made Cruz.
sound better than ever.
It's just,
it was just a lot of DC tonight.
He,
it's just a lot.
I think he was like bad or anything,
but like,
you notice the holes in his game
when it's just him and somebody else.
Like a lot of the jihitsu stuff,
like a lot of like the,
like the grappling and looking for holds and stuff like that.
Like he was,
wasn't great in a lot of those situations.
like Laura Sanko is money with that stuff and even Felder's money with that stuff.
But I didn't think I wasn't like offended by Daniel Cormier.
It was just a lot of Daniel Corbyate tonight.
But it wasn't bad.
Dan Halley's pretty good.
Dan's a pro.
Dan is a pro.
Robertson falls out.
Klein steps in versus Dern.
Who are you taking?
So I will, I will put it like this.
If you gave, if you gave Fatima Klein, if you gave Fatima Klein like a decent camp, I would pick her to beat McKenzie Dird.
I'd pick her tomorrow.
Stepping in on five days notice, I don't think I'd pick her.
But if like they made, if the fight they made originally was Fatima Klein, I'm picking Fatima Klein.
I'm picking Klein.
But the short notice, the short notice nature of it all going into a title.
fight like it's just a lot man it's a lot to prepare for but yeah like everything being equal
i i would probably pick klein i'd pick klein to beat robertson short notice i think i think i'd pick her
to beat jillian like if she walked in if durn got hurt and they did klein jillian for an injure
in ballot i'd probably pick klein like she just beat the shit out of tab of the reachie like no one
beats the brakes off her. She beat them. She humiliated her. She posterized her. She meaned her.
Like, that's a gift forever. And it's Tabitha, like on the receiving end of it. Yeah, it's a tough fight.
All right, a couple more. Thoughts of McMillan matchup. It's got to be an absolute heater.
They're feeding my boy Roman to goatee. Damn. Listen.
I wouldn't be so super confident in that one.
I think Gotei could definitely,
I think Gote could definitely knock him unconscious.
There's no doubt about it,
but that fight goes long,
like it's not going to go well for him.
I think he's got five minutes to win that fight.
McMillan, Rehiki prediction,
UFC Paris, Doche, back-to-back great cards.
I think I'm going to go McMillan.
But I don't know.
that's a tough one to call
who did reach you really beat though
wash rebus doesn't really matter though
she went out there and finished Amanda
like that's not a lot of people have done that
but she's just been a solid
hand and even when she loses she doesn't
lose like that
you know who she has beat
Jillian Robertson
she beat Jillian Robertson handily
like clear cut beat her
she's not that bad
it's very hard to look really
good against her.
And Fatima looked really freaking good against her.
How do you feel Grasso Minon will go?
Tough fight, man.
It's a tough one to call.
I'm probably going to lead Menon, but
Grasso looks so good against
Macy.
But I don't know if that's like,
I don't know if that's more,
more Grasso or more Macy.
Manon is just a hoss.
She is an absolute hoss.
I mean, she's going to have a hard time with that.
Next for Lemoche, I don't know.
She's the most frustrating fighter in the roster, though.
Imagine betting on her and watching that fight.
Same with the Jillian Robertson fight.
You're just like, dude, she looks so good early in the Jillian Robertson fight,
and then she just stopped doing stuff.
It's very frustrating.
She's like the strawweight Marlon Vera.
When Vera like throws stuff, it's effective and it works.
And then they just stop throwing stuff.
And it's just like, what are we doing?
It's very frustrating.
All right.
I think we're good here.
We done.
All right.
Thank you all.
I went way longer.
I thought I was going to go.
But yeah, good banter, as always.
Best community in MMA, without question.
proud to be here with all of you,
whether you agree with my
takes or not. I will not apologize
for anything,
but happy
to admit what I'm wrong.
And get a busy
week ahead, ladies gentlemen. So no on to
the next one tomorrow.
We'll record it on Monday.
Post usually goes on Monday anyway,
so we'll just
bump it back
a day.
Give my voice a little bit
of a breather.
And then, yeah, we're on to Philadelphia.
PA, Jose, boots on the ground.
Stick with us.
We'll have meaty day on Wednesday.
If you guys want to hear Ian Gary's got to say,
you get to hear it on Wednesday.
Press conference on Thursday.
More Ian Gary.
And then Friday all the way in Hubbub.
And then Saturday, the watch party returns.
Here at Command Center 4.0.
maybe it's live panel at this point but
it would be here
run it back we did not have one obviously for UFC 329
and then after this one thing is a little weird
we'll have them I just don't know
to what extent and how it's going to work but we'll
make it happen
there's just so much happening right now
and lots of events to be covered and
ground needing boots
across this great land of our
cars, but we'll keep you posted.
But we'll definitely have the watch party you guys have been accustomed to all the time next
week for UFC 330, headlined by Isam Mokachev versus Ian Machado, Gary, McKenzie during
Jillian Robertson, and the rest of this card that is what it is.
And as always, we will make the best of it and we'll have as much fun, more fun than
anybody else watching these events.
So until then, everybody, enjoy the rest of your week.
weekend. Have a great rest of your Saturday night. Whatever is left of it. For me, it's like another
30 seconds. And have a great Sunday. And A.K. and I will see you on Monday for on to the next one.
We are out of here.
