The Victory Horns.
They sound for Brendan Allen.
He gets, I was going to say exact some revenge, but he certainly paid for that revenge, that's for sure.
What a battle with Chris Curtis and maybe the final 15, 18 seconds of that fight.
Chris Curtis definitely hurt his hamstring.
Brennan took advantage, landed some big shots, and probably stole the fight.
And it was a good one, everybody.
If you missed it, you missed a damn good one.
Welcome to the show following UFC Vegas 90.
We're officially on the road to UFC 300,
but let's recap this card and then we're officially there.
I'm Mike Heck.
We got Mr. No Gray area, the hot take kid himself, Jedmishu,
back on the program.
He's already on UFC 300 as you on the whiteboard.
Yeah, I thought we were here to talk about UC 300.
The last hurdle has been cleared.
Do we need to talk about tonight?
Let's talk about 300, boys.
It's such a good card.
I can't believe it's finally here.
True that.
True that.
And also joining us.
And it's always a pleasure to have New York Rick here on these post-fight shows.
There he is.
New York,
how are we doing, buddy?
Couldn't be better.
It's a beautiful night.
Or, you know what?
It's not even that late.
It's a beautiful, like, evening into night.
We're here with you, boys.
Decent little main event that we just had right there.
So I'm excited to kind of talk about that and the rest of the card as well.
Yes.
Let's get into it.
And I know we're all prisoners of the moments,
but I even sit in our Slack channel.
I'll just come on and say it here.
There are certain fight cards that I would love to watch
through the lens of Jamal Hill
because I feel like he watches completely different
fight cards than we watch.
He said something like round of the year,
I think after the second round,
then he threw a fight of the year.
But Mohammed also threw a fight of the year as well.
And this is a damn good one.
And so I kind of got to think in the last maybe 15 or 20 seconds,
and I'm trying to like figure this out.
But Jed, I'll start with you, my friend.
Did we just watch the fight of the year between Brennan Allen and Chris Curtis?
So sort of, but it doesn't matter, right?
Like, yes, I think that as of this exact moment, that is probably the fight of the year.
Five round fights always have just a massive advantage of being 10 more minutes.
and the 10 extra minutes in this were back and forth
and really exciting a lot of momentum swings.
It sort of has all the classical stuff
that I look for in a fight of the year.
It was a great fight.
Great main event.
It delivered on all cylinders.
It was awesome.
I'm happy to say this is the fight of the year.
It does feel slightly hollow to say this is the fight of the year
when we are now seven days away from,
I guess at this point,
where seven days and like two and a half,
three hours away from Justin Gagethe Max Holloway,
which is just going to be the fight of the year.
I'm already just assuming that's the fight of the year.
So this will probably make some ballots,
maybe not given the texture of fights this year,
not a ton of great fights,
some decent ones, a lot of bad fights this year.
I think this could absolutely make the ballot.
Right now it has the top spot,
but let's not get ourselves.
It's keeping that seat warm.
Kaleisi is coming to Westeros in the form of Gachy versus Holloway.
Look, it's definitely in the discussion.
New York, Rick.
Look, middle weights are at the top of the bill right now.
It's either this fight.
I would say Sean Strickland versus Drickusupal Sea has a very solid argument right now.
Robert Whitaker versus Paul Costa was a damn fun fight.
I would say any order between those three is very fair.
obviously Dustini
was amazing for as long as that one lasted
but what do you think of year, Greg?
Did you end tonight when the final horn sounded
and said, damn, guys,
right before UFC 300,
we have the front runner for fighter of the year.
No.
To your point, though, it ultimately may be,
depending on how you feel about Strickland and Duplessi.
That's probably the one I think would get more acclaim at the moment
and the one I'd probably lean toward
just because of the stakes being so significantly higher in that one.
But certainly you have to think objectively like it's up there and it may be the leader,
but it does not feel it doesn't feel like, what was it,
Lawler and Condit that led off a year one time where it felt like,
yeah, this one is going to be one that lasts the rest of the year and stands the test of time
and ultimately ends up being the fight of the year.
this one just feels like it was a great one at the moment there's going to be some better ones to come
I mean I certainly agree with Jed that like forecasting Holloway and Gaiti to be one of those contenders
it feels like a no-brainer so no it doesn't it doesn't feel significant it feels like maybe
by default it is at the moment but I do not ultimately think this will be a fight of the year
in five months let alone one month you know it could it could be unseated in a week so no
Yeah, and then oftentimes when we have these conversations, a fight just over exceeds expectations.
And there's no, I don't think anybody came into this one predicting Brennan Allen versus Chris Curtis was going to be this.
Like an all-all bloody war for 25 minutes.
It was either just going to be, I actually, I want to start with you, Jed, especially as someone who bets in these fights.
If you're betting on Brennan Allen, I think you're probably expecting him to just do whatever he could to just get out of there at the war.
win like throw him up against the fence and just kind of hold them there and just fight as safe as
possible and that is not what happened here and i know chris kind of lured him into that especially
in the second round but how surprised were you that the fight played out the way that it did like
that we got this exact fight and brennan just kind of fought with i'm going to talk a little shit
and stay in front of your face and just throw power shots at you for a while uh pretty
surprised honestly like right this uh i think sort of largely structurally this is sort of how you
would have imagined brendan allen would have won a lot of his win basically came down to holding chris
for a while and holding with the back position like in backpack but not actually doing any effective
damage just having an asymmetrical position which i think is fair i'm not knocking that but like that's
sort of how you envision it i never thought he really was going to finish chris curtis coming
into it and even during the fight.
Chris Curtis has that moment where he's yelling at his own corner to shut up.
He's not going to submit me while Brennan Allen is like trying to fish an arm under,
which is just the most badass.
But dude, he's not going to submit me.
Just calm down.
It's fine.
And he was right.
He wasn't.
And I don't think that was ever, I think sort of structurally, that's how you would have
imagined this going.
But the ins and outs the minutia of how that structure was pieced together is way different.
I did not think Brennan Allen would have nearly as much security.
success wrestling as as he did he got chris curtis down a bunch and would always just immediately
slipped to the back again couldn't finish or really do much with that position other than hold
it but chris curtis is like a 90% takedown defense like ratio he's very good at keeping his feet
and britton and brennan found ways to keep making that happen and then on the feet there were spots
there was i i wrote about in our slack said i'm i'm i live bet chris curtis after the second round
because Brendan Allen started to be uncomfortable on the feet,
that started turning into a Chris Curtis fight.
But then Brennan Al was just like, all right, I'm going to figure this out.
And he panicked in moments, certainly when he got jawed in the third round,
I think was around he got hurt in.
Like there were times when he felt a little panicky.
And I think Bissping, or maybe it was Felder noted that on the call.
But he eventually kind of just composed and settled himself in
and realized that his strategy of just trying to jab and touch Chris Kirtis.
Curtis was not getting him enough respect.
And so he started to fire back with heat.
And that did get him enough respect to survive the exchanges on the feet and compete there.
So really impressive all around performance from Brendan Allen.
A lot of people online did not believe he won that fight.
I scored it for him.
I don't have an issue if you scored it for Chris Curtis.
I'd think that is a viable scorecard.
But I don't think you can go out of that fight and not be impressed by the, I mean,
the evolution of Brendan Allen.
he continues to improve.
And that's been his story for the last since basically the first Chris Curtis fight.
Every time out he is looking better.
He is adding tools.
And he did so again tonight.
So really impressive.
Rick,
if you were on the preview show,
I think you would have been talking about Brennan Allen quite a bit to see just how much he has evolved,
wanting to learn as much as you can because this is a guy who I kind of feel like he's going to be in a similar position to his good friend,
Bala Muhammad, but at 185, he's pretty.
he's probably going to have to run off,
especially with the star power at the top of this division,
he's probably going to have to win 10, 11, 12 fights in a row
before he gets a title fight.
And I know he called out Drink his Duplice after in Jedd,
I'm very excited to get your opinion on that.
But what did you learn about Brendan Allen?
Did you come out of this fight thinking, you know what?
Give this guy two years.
He might be a freaking champion.
Yeah, I was really impressed.
I came away thinking that Brendan Allen has some other
facets to his game that I did not imagine and that when it didn't go his way necessarily in
some of the grappling exchanges, he had more to give. And when there were certain instances where
he was being outstruck or being overwhelmed and it felt like Chris Curtis was kind of stealing the
momentum, he'd bite down on his mouthpiece and fire back and land some really like decent looking
stuff. I was impressed, man. I really, I really learned more about Brendan Allen. And to be honest,
I think it's important.
The story will be Brendan Allen, certainly, because he won this fight.
But I think it's important to say, I think stock up for both of these guys, for Chris Curtis
to step in on short notice after Vatori kind of fell out of this main event.
And it seemed like, unless I'm mistaken, all the kind of talk around Curtis was he's going to take
some time off.
I believe he just recently had a child.
And he was going to step off, step away for a bit.
And he steps in on short notice to fight who I think is, you know, one of the rising prospects
in this division and just had a manly.
performance just had a like a really really strong showing for a guy who probably wasn't as prepared
for this fight as Alan was. So I think they both deserve a ton of credit for the performances that
they showed like grit from both sides. Like there were opportunities for either one of them to
just completely fold. And in those moments, they kind of gave it back. So I was I was impressed with
both stock up for both. But certainly I do think Brendan Allen is somebody who if he continues this
trajectory will be able to compete against the top of the division. Now, I certainly think there's
some things he will look back on this fight and feel like he has opportunities to work on. If he is
struggling in this capacity, right, with Chris Curtis, there are going to be some things that
he needs to improve if he's going to take that next step and be competing against the upper
echelon of this division. But Chris Curtis is a really tricky kind of dude, a super sound defensive
fighter. And that can frustrate people. And when Brendan Allen was frustrated, he had other tricks in the bag.
yeah, man, impressed. Impressed by both. But certainly I believe Brendan Allen's ceiling
is a little bit higher for me than I initially had for him.
Interesting looking at the cards right now. I was doing like double duty. So I was just
waiting to see like whose hand got raised. I didn't really hear him. Eric Colon scored at 49,
46 for Brennan, gave him one, three, four, and five. Mike Bell scored at 48, 47 for Chris
Curtis, gave him two, three, and four. And Derek Cleary, I think,
had the same card that probably all three of us had where Alan wins one, Curtis wins two and
three, Alan wins four and five.
48, 47. So that is what I have. Jed. Yeah, Jed, let's talk about the mic work from
one Brennan Allen, because normally he's all over the place. Normally he's asking for, all right,
here's my list. I want purple shorts. I want a card in Louisiana. I want this. I want that. I want this person.
This time, I want DDP.
Where are you at?
And even in the world's most famous Apex
where there's dozens and dozens
of high-priced paying fans,
you could hear a pin drop when he dropped DDP's name.
And I think everyone watching at home
kind of had the same reaction.
Like, oh, this was not good mic work, Brennan Allen.
But I'm willing to give this man a slight pass
because he just got the shit beat at and out of him for 25 minutes.
Jed, you shook your head.
I feel like you're not going to give him that pass.
How do you grade Brendan Allen's post-fight speech?
SNF minus or an F-plus.
I don't know which of those is worst.
It's a Q and Z.
It's terrible.
Though when you did lay out some of Brandon Allen's other callouts,
I guess it all does fit the theme of shit he's never going to get.
Card in Louisiana, purple shorts,
trick is two plus C, things that aren't going to happen
for Brendan Allen for 500 Alex.
It's just garbage and I'm not giving him a pass because that's there's no excuse for it.
Like you just, it's just not that hard guys.
Like it's just I would love someone to ask him not why did you call out trick as du plus C
because that's too open ended and you're like because I think of fine.
Like what did you think you were going to accomplish with your call out?
Because the answer has to be nothing.
If you're a logical person, if you can think for even a moment, like, I don't know, what did I think I was going to accomplish?
I very clearly wasn't going to get tricky as two plus C, who may not even be the champion, by the way.
We're all operating under the assumption that DDP is fighting Israel, this and you.
You have no top five wins.
You were on a great streak.
I'm not here to downplay what you have accomplished.
If you had beaten Marvin Vittori, that call out maybe would have made sense.
but, you know, if I had wheels, I'd be a wagon.
That's not what happened.
You beat Chris Curtis.
You won a split over Chris Curtis.
I know that you don't like that that was a split decision,
but that's just the world we live in, my guy.
And so you've got to come into this more reasonably.
You don't have to say, I was supposed to fight Marm Vittory.
He pulled out.
I want to fight him.
But you've got to have a name that's viable.
Sean Strickland, he might have gotten that fight.
It was the fight I expected him to call for.
It's the fight that I think.
Bisping was trying to coach him into calling for after he screwed the pooch the first time around
and he sort of got there.
But it's just you just talk to somebody.
Talk to a single human being with rational thought before you go in, be like, all right,
here's my, let's circle up coaches.
Who am I calling out after I win this fight?
And then they can be like, ah, somebody.
They'll pick somebody and you can talk through it.
And at least one guy will be like, don't call for a title shot.
You moron.
It's not going to happen.
You haven't done anything.
Then you've probably just put yourself closer to getting something shitty because you didn't call for something good.
The point of a call out, I've said this so many times.
It is twofold.
One, maybe you get it.
And that's just terrific.
Like that's the best thing.
And that gives the UFC promo material because you've given them a call out and now you can put it in a video package.
More importantly, it just puts you in a realm.
a viability. You might not get it, but the callout needs to be moving your career in a proper
direction. Your callout of a dude you will never, ever, ever face and have no chance of getting
it at this point does nothing but say, oh, I forgot who he called out, who's available, I don't know,
who's, what's Roman Deleads they do? And I guess we can do that. Like, it's just so garbage and you got to be,
like, you have to be better at managing your career. I don't understand how
fighters haven't figured this out while watching multiple people do better things
managing their careers everyone could learn the calf kick in a week they can't figure out
how to do a fucking call out it drives me insane i was waiting for some sort of sound effect a clap
a horn nothing um you're a quick i'll get your take on this but we have bonus have you guys have you
guys i mean i got it on over here as well um race the runners raise the sails raise the sales raise
the sales. Captain, an unidentified ship is approaching. Over.

Do you have you seen the bonuses gentlemen?
No.
Let's play a game.
New York, I'll begin with you.
Who won bonuses?
And there is a fight in the night.
Okay.
I was going to ask that.
I always feel like that's like the, you know, determiner.
I'm going to say,
Ignacio Baja Mondes won a performance.
Check.
This is easy.
You should get this, Ricky.
Nora?
No.
Did she win a performance?
She missed weight, so she wasn't getting a bonus.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, that disqualifies.
Matsumoto?
Correct.
It has to be, right?
Wow.
Well, that's just garbage.
That's just nonsense.
And then fight of the night?
I mean, it had to be Cesar Almeida than if they gave another performance, which is ridiculous.
I mean, that was fun, but like, that's outlandish.
Yeah, Cesar Almeida is the other bonus winner.
At the night?
Maine, but if not, Chappay and...
I'm going Maine, but I'd be okay with...
I'd be okay with Co-Maine as well, but I'm going Maine.
With the Co-Maine?
What the Hernandez-Jackson fight?
Yeah.
No, I think, oh, really?
Oh, I was going to say Mara Scala and Charier.
All very fun fight.
All three of the main fight, like the time, it was fun.
I would say Maine won the fight of the night, though.
Yeah, same.
Hernandez and Jackson was not fighting the night.
Hernandez wasn't getting any bonus money anyways.
The main event, also not the fight of the night.
It was.
Fight of the year.
Happy Maristel.
Yeah.
Yeah, so I mean, that says it all.
It wasn't even the fight of the night for the UFC's bonuses.
And we're out.
You're talking about fighting.
UFC also didn't give Gene Matsumoto a performance bonus for a literal last second
guillotine finished in the second round out of nowhere.
So they're just clearly high tonight.
I don't know.
I mean, that was a great fight though.
Mara Scala and Charlie.
That was a good fight.
I don't really have any issues with that.
Yeah.
I do have issues with Jim Matsumoto not getting one.
Yeah, he should have got one.
That should have been a performance for sure.
Nasty.
That was a nasty gilly.
Super impressive.
Fricking Dan Argetta, like, didn't even know where he was when it was over.
It's very rare you see.
He was in that real weird space where he hadn't quite, like, he didn't go out, out, but his brain shut off.
So he was still conscious, but his brain wasn't working.
So it was just real weird.
Tapping was the last thing he was doing.
before he was going to sleep and it gets the tap bit and then it's just out.
Yeah.
The lights are not on.
No one is home despite the door being open.
Yeah.
This is one of those cards where after Alex Marona and Cort McGee took place, we were trending
on the worst card in a long, long, long time.
I mean, these were outside of a couple of moments, maybe.
the worst set of prelims we have had all year.
It was awful.
Terribly boring fights.
Lucas Breske versus Walter Walker was one of the all-time worst fights of all time.
It was so bad.
Alex Burrell, Court McGee was not great.
But then, luckily, Charlie Campbell and Trevor Peaks set the table.
Those two delivered what we expected.
Ignacio Baja Mondays, nasty head kick.
Chepi Mariscall, Morgan Charié did the damn thing.
Damon Jackson, now he was in Hernandez, fun, fun,
and then Brennan,
Chris Curtis.
So the main card saves the day.
A lot of these APEC cards is the prelims starts off red hot
and we're ready for the main card.
The main card just lays a big, fat old turdo inside the apex.
But we reversed course this time.
Main card saves the day.
This is not the worst card of the year.
In fact, far from it.
Far from it when it's all of a sudden done
because there's been some tough ones in 2024,
but this ended up being pretty damn good.
But now, like we said, on the road to 300.
So let's bring an E. Casey Liden and his wait to see this shirt, guys.
Get your sunglasses on.
Look at that.
Holy smokes.
Island.
Blime.
You look like you're a background dancer for Richard Simmons right now.
Look at that shirt.
Sweating to the oldies, my man.
Look at that.
Incredible.
I mean, yeah, granted, this isn't, I shouldn't be wearing this.
on camera of all the lights is kind of a
I get it.
It's a little bit bright.
Yeah,
it's a little bright.
I can't stop looking at it.
Hold on.
All right.
There we go.
That's perfect.
All right.
Bring the other questions.
Do the questions.
All right.
Do the super chat first.
Yes.
Get those super chats in, guys.
Yes.
And Achilles Jr.
Hope you're here.
I love to hear you have to say.
Mm-hmm.
Michael, Alan versus Emavovov is the fight to make.
Do you agree?
Of course, I will be hosting on to the next one tomorrow.
Love to get your input on this, guys.
Who would you matchmake for Brendan Allen, New York, Rick?
Vitori.
I feel like I just go back to the well.
That's the fight.
Just make that fight.
John's true.
Oh, wow.
Okay.
That's a good one for him.
I think Votori made sense, but Votori pulled out.
and I don't know what Sean Strickland's doing.
I think Brendan Allen makes the most sense for Sean Strickland.
Because Sean Strickland's not getting a title fight, no matter how mad he is about that.
They're doing Izzy.
Sean Strickland can't sit and wait because Robert Whitaker is going to fight Hamzat.
And so the winner of that will be fighting for the belt.
Sean Strickland needs to fight somebody.
I think running it back with Brin and Allen makes a ton of sense.
Brandon Allen deserves to get a title eliminators, like six.
or seven in a row.
Yeah, I just do Sean Strickland.
I think it makes plenty of sense.
And to think Jose Young has definitely said this,
kind of Berks has been on this bandwagon.
Look, Apex 100's coming up.
It's going to need a main event.
John Strickland, Brendan Allen,
the main event of Apex 100.
It's very fitting.
They've both fought there a lot.
I think that that fight is too meaningful and fun,
but I understand the inclination.
we're trying to elevate Apex 100.
So yeah, Sean Strickland, Brendan Allen, Apex 100.
I'll figure out when that date is happening exactly.
I like that fight quite a bit.
If Brendan Allen can get it, I think that'd be great.
If I'm Sean Strickland, I don't know if I take that fight.
I'd probably be eye on like a holocaust or somebody that feels like a little less risk,
higher reward type situation.
But I like it
It looks like it
It's going to happen around September
So like UFC Apex 100 in September
It might be like the weekend after the sphere
Somewhere around then so let's do it
That would be a massive long time for Strickland
To not fight a guy who like
What you do is
Strickland's going to fight Paula Costa
I feel like that
That makes sense right
That feels like the one
They're both coming off losses
That's a fun one
That could be a coal main event
for 301.
You can throw that on an international fight week.
That's going to be one of those fights that like steals a ton of shine from a lot of it.
And it's going to do well.
You all have put a lot of faith in Apollo Costa to show up for this fight.
I'm just never going to put faith.
He did.
That was one time in the last six years.
I'm just never going to trust it, man.
I won't stand for slender on my barber like this.
Just don't, don't do this.
Don't do this.
I will not stand for this.
My baron.
Actually, what's wrong with him above?
Blameh.
There is a true.
Because that,
that just feels like,
you're basically going from Chris Curtis.
Yeah.
Oh,
yeah.
Yeah.
Chris Curtis is 14.
No, he's not.
No,
Imov is.
Brennan Allen.
Brennan is number six.
Oh,
Brandon had six?
What?
Yeah.
It also just feels like he had the Votori fight.
I don't think he can go back.
to Imamov after like he was ready to fight Vittori.
He takes the short notice against Curtis.
I think he's got to get some kind of big opportunity.
I thought I'm above is higher ranked than that.
Okay, he just, all right.
Nah,
because I lost a couple in a row.
Yeah, Vittoria.
Strickland.
Canaaner is a good one.
Oh, cannoneer.
I didn't think of cannoneer.
Yeah.
I could think that's good.
Mike,
Mike,
look what you've done.
I told you.
We're not talking about him and he's just going to disappear.
It's going to be okay.
We just all never speak about him again.
he'll just quietly leave and that will be fine.
Someone's going to fight for him on.
It was working because I forgot he existed until he just brought his name up.
It was working.
This has been my, this has honestly been my most effective grift.
Gaslight John Jones is the most fun one, but they just don't talk about Jared Cannon here.
People are really taking to that quite well.
Also, in defense of my previous statement, do you know the last time Paula Costa fought multiple times in one calendar year?
2017.
No idea.
I wouldn't book him against a soul.
Wait, where's Brennan, where's Brennan,
where's Brennan rankings?
I don't know.
I have to pull ours up.
Probably top 10.
Paula Costa is good for the booking.
It's the follow through.
It's the showing up to the fight part that always gets a little dicey.
But the bookings always great.
That actually does work because when Costa pulls out,
then you can just slot Brendan Allen in to fight Sean Strickland.
So, okay.
I can maybe get on board with that strategy.
Yeah. Also, Brennan Allen's going to be out for a for a hot minute.
He got he got womped around tonight quite a bit.
So Brendan Allen, Casey, till probably late summer.
Brendan Allen is number nine in our rankings.
Imov is number 11 in our rankings.
All right.
Yeah, I was just surprised at Bernardan's ranking, just looking at his wins.
But I guess we're going.
He's been real in him off.
Yeah, he's going to run in a row, five by finish.
I guess, all.
I think we can suss out that Casey doesn't have them as high in his personal ranking.
I was just kind of, oh, okay, all right.
All right.
So no, so no, Alan DDP?
Is that, is that worried?
Yeah, that ain't happening.
Yeah.
Yeah, unless everybody in the division gets injured.
Yeah, if everybody in the division gets injured, he gets.
I think even then not.
How many people get the call for UFC 305?
If is he like stubs a toe a month out and they got to swap somebody in there against DDP?
How many people are in front of Brendan Allen for that?
Oh God.
Strickland Whitaker.
Infinity.
Infinity.
He does not get the call.
It never happens.
He would not be on the list to get the call.
I don't think it's not on the list, but I do think he's.
If Fluffy Hernandez, if Fluffy Hernandez meets Roman DeLeeds, he will be above Brennan Allen on that conversation too.
people freaking love fluffy right now if he goes out and thumbs up roman del leads a and finishes him
dude's gonna be on a he's at that that's a hell of a run he's on too
let me also say none of those guys get in allans let me say this about brinandallon's post
fight as well because i didn't mention this but this is the thing that actually bothered me
the most dude it's just like uh you can't be pissy like i don't have a better way to say this
that doesn't endear you to fans to get on the mic and be like,
that wasn't no split.
Like, did you think that was a split?
Like, that's just not,
that never works.
That never works.
Yeah.
That never works.
And that just comes across in a way that isn't going to generate interest in you.
Like, you got to,
you just can't do that even if you,
like,
the UFC just desperately desperately needs to have their fighters trained in like,
camera work and social media.
It's just not that hard to do better than.
than this. And it was just an all-out fail. And I didn't mention that the first time,
but I just thought of it and it bothered me again. What that? Yeah, it was not good.
They always ask him, though, too, like, did you agree with the split? And like, I don't know.
Agreeing for split decision is kind of like, do I? I get it. Several people dislike that.
I don't care. Like, you understand what that means, even if the terminology is kind of dumb.
You understand that fight wasn't that close, right? Is what that is essentially saying.
Yeah, it was just like, that was just like
Joaquin Buckley's stuff like you can't
Don't go on the MMA hour and just be pissy
You have an opportunity to like ingratiate yourself with fans
And make people like you
And that's just not a way to do it
And that was not the way to do it either
So all out fail
Enjoy fighting he we shall not speak of
Yeah
We have a tweet
An X well I don't even know what the hell to call it
I've still calling a tweet
It's going to be a tweet on our website.
We're not calling the next on our website.
Marvin Vitori weighed in.
He said,
Alan,
what the F,
WTF,
you calling for the title man.
You look like dog shit,
got rocked every single round
and prayed you were getting the takedown
just to hang in there.
That shit was embarrassing.
That's good stuff right there.
I'm in.
Just let's do Vittori and Al.
I'm totally fine with that.
That was my pick after Allen's last win.
Yeah.
That's the one.
Let's do it.
I don't have any issue with it.
What?
There we go.
Joseph Boza knows.
Joseph Boza knows.
He said it was a freak.
A freak injury.
There's a freak injury.
It's like something happened in training.
A couple of weeks or
that's the timeline.
Okay, sure.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's the one.
Do it.
Vittori's tweeted up a storm the whole fight.
Scored up for Chris Curtis.
Oh, yeah.
He was like, man.
He was like, he was watching Chris Curtis.
kind of thump up Brennan Allen in round two and he was just like, man, this moment,
I wish I was in there right now.
Like, the Tori was just getting after it.
So yeah, let's go.
But you weren't.
You were not.
Freak injury.
All right.
Super chat's coming.
Oh, you guys going to love this one.
Dumont or the,
um,
or winner of Holm Harrison for the Bannamoy title.
Jesus, Michael.
What about?
Okay.
I mean, it's the winner of Holm Harrison.
Yeah.
She's asking a question.
Just asking.
It's the winner of Holman.
No, he's.
Norman Dumont's on a four-fight win streak,
and I know that it's the feather bantam weight or whatever,
but they've got a ranked.
So it's fine.
They legitimately have her ranked having,
I don't think, ever beat it at 135 in the UFC.
It's awesome.
She has never, this was her first 135 bout in the UFC is the best.
But do you guys want to hear the, uh, this division, this division is this
fight in the fucking toilet so bad.
It's in the toilet so bad, man.
It's doing great.
Jesus Christ.
Melissa Dixon, Norr Cornel.
I'm sorry, Melissa Mullins, my bad.
I think we have, definitely Farves, if not both ranked for us.
Uh, with like one fight apiece.
Norma Dumont defeated Germain Durandini tonight.
She won round one.
You only know significant strikes she landed in round one and while winning the round?
I know the answer to this.
Zero.
The answer is zero.
Not one significant strike landed.
She wins round three.
Yeah, that was Humzat.
That was what I saw out there.
Jermaine Durantami actually landed three strikes.
So Hamzad at least pitched perfect games.
and no one got his strengths.
By definition,
outlanded her in round three as well.
In round three,
Germain DurandMe outlanded Norma Dumont four to three.
And Dumont wins that round.
So literally,
27 total significant strikes were landed in that fight
between Norma Dumont and Germain Durantamy.
And only 11 of them were landed by Norma Dumont.
Is that, I don't know if that's going to get your title fight.
I don't know if it's going to do it.
Maybe it's a smart calculated idea.
I don't know, man.
Julianna.
In any other way, Carson.
But like, Norma's in the conversation right now because who else?
Aaron Blanchfield, move up.
Yeah, there's flyweight.
Aaron Blancher just got big sister by a flyweight.
She can't move up.
Yeah, men, it's aren't real.
You know my thoughts on Rock.
It's like a Bamperewe.
I still think she's probably too big for Air Blanche.
It's in the field after watching that fight.
Oh, God.
This division's bad.
So, so bad.
It's pretty tough.
Let's answer your question, Michael, and it is wonderful to chat with you.
It is the latter.
I'm going to go to MMA math.
Do you not be Jermaine, Jermaine beat Halley.
Harrison's coming off a loss to a UFC washout.
Yeah.
Do you mind?
No.
Harrison's coming off a win.
She is?
She won?
Where she went?
Yeah.
She beat Aspen lead.
Yeah.
Oh.
She beat a UFC washout.
Oh.
Before she lost to a UFC washout.
All right.
I forgot that's my...
After she lost to a UFC washout.
Larissa Pacheco is really good.
I'm just joking.
Yeah, Larissa Pacheco is awesome, actually.
That might be the answer.
Signed Larissa Pacheco.
Yeah.
Oh, hell yeah.
I mean...
That'd be great.
I just want to say shout out to whoever in the chat.
I don't even saw it was said that GDR was our last hope for an exciting band
as someone who is clearly never seen
Jimi through enemy fight before.
Thanks, brother.
She can be exciting, but not yet.
There have been some moments
where that blind squirrel has found a nut.
And then there has been her fight with Holly Home
for the inaugural featherweight title.
Melissa Mullins is actually pretty fun.
Most of the time.
Most of the time.
This one.
She's also been competing for like two years.
So she'll be good
That's not even a joke
I was the first person to put her in our rankings
Because I was trying to find
Literally a body to put in there
Because I didn't want to put like
I don't even remember who it was at the time
There were some of us were ranking
Like someone who'd lost five in a row or something
It's like I'm just not going to do this
And then I went and found like Aries fight footage
It's like ah this girl's this girl started competing in 2021
But she won six fights last year
Sure why not
Now, let's talk about what's important from Thomas in the super chats.
Daniel is here Safe Sayyud tell Damon Jackson, it must be the hair.
Is Damon's hairline leading their collective career resurgence?
I think I did hear him say that like after the fight when he's like, oh, look, it's the hair.
And I think that's hilarious.
Shout out to Safe Sayud for that.
That's great work.
Great work from Safe Sayud.
Hot take.
I don't like it.
I don't like it.
It looks unnatural.
It's bad hair.
It's just bad hair.
I'm happy for you to do whatever makes you feel pretty and happy inside Damon Jackson.
It's just not, it's just not like it's too.
We know like you're lying.
You're not lying because you've been very open and honest about it.
And I do respect that part of your game.
But like, come on, man.
You didn't look bad before.
Now it looks weird because like that's how.
that hair always looks on everyone, like that it's almost drawn on.
It's just, just be yourself.
Your hair line was great.
It was a little receding, but that's okay.
Old age comes for us all.
David Jackson is my brother.
We were born on the exact same day.
We have lived the exact amount of days on this arc together.
And so I feel like kindred to hear it.
I'm sorry you don't have the fucking lush follicles that I do, but just accept what you have
and don't go to Turkey.
It's unnecessary my brother.
I support all the ball brothers going to Turkey.
I'm a fan.
I support them all.
I appreciate them.
Oh, wow.
What do we got?
Gunther just lost.
Sorry.
La la la la la la la.
What did you think he was about to say, Casey?
He's clearly watching WrestleMania and goes, ooh, wow.
I have to do the.
I'm watching.
Of course, this is part of my job today.
I have a pause up there.
I got a lot.
I just know what Casey thought.
It's not going to take anything away.
Oh, wow.
Gunther bought some candy.
I don't know what you thought was happening.
He sure did.
Gunther bought candy.
Oh, he, Gunther and the candy.
The storylines finished.
Nice.
He thought he's going to get the two peanut butter cup package.
He went for the four, Casey.
Yeah.
You got to get the king's cheese.
Baby.
Got the king's nice.
I have nothing you look forward to now. Thanks.
Life is over.
I mean, you can still maybe find like the on sale Easter reases now, you know?
Oh, the eggs?
Oh, yeah.
I have upstairs.
I went to Aldi and I got discounted Eminem peanuts, the Easter peanuts that are pastel colored.
I got my half price on Aldi.
It was like $1.50 for like a pound of it.
So, love it.
Peanut Eminem's are underrated.
Shout out to Aldi.
What's underrated?
Pretzel Eminems
Mm.
Those are hard.
Dude, no.
No, get out of here.
A little too busy.
Peanut Eminems can't be underrated
because they're one of the two main, though.
Yellow and brown is like me.
It can be a low key.
Almond.
Lokey.
I feel like Eminemes in general are underrated.
Yeah, that's fair.
I surely people don't eat a lot of.
They have their own store in the strip.
That's just sells Eminem.
What are you talking about?
True.
There's no.
And do they really?
In Times Square, there's an MMA.
There's an M&M world.
I had no idea.
Almond M&Ms, though, very underrated.
Gray bag, hard to find, super solid.
I'm a pretz almond M&M.
I guess.
Amund M&M's also.
Okay, now this is important.
Keep going.

Super chat from, you know who.
Oh, it's coming.
It's coming.
Is it Damon Jackson's hair?
Is it Damon Jackson's hair?
It is.
Wow, I didn't even see this.
Aquila, I hope you haven't talked about this yet.
Damon's hair is better than Jeddin Ricks now.
what's a fun fight for chepa again i will have to wait till tomorrow to answer this question
when i record on to the next one first of all you're wrong damon jack's hairs i mean again like jenn
said i i have no notes as long as he's happy that's all that matters but yeah he's looking
like marcus alexander bagwell and i forget who else we talked about in the slack channel but
he he won and that's good maybe he does become a champion it's all because of the hair but
what would you guys book for Chepa Mariscall
who was quietly putting together
quite the run here
puts he 3 and O in the UFC now
2 and 0 at 1.45
plus the win over Trevor Peak
on short notice at lightweight
I haven't thought about this at all
that's a good question
I feel like he could
he could start sniffing around that bottom
end of the rankings I feel like
that's probably still a little too soon
he's only what
I have I got it
I got the answer.
What are you got?
Tell us.
It rhymes with Smilly, Schmorrow.
Oh, Billy Q.
Okay.
I dig that.
I don't hate that.
I would also rock with,
I'd rock with Colin Nelson.
He just got beat up by somebody.
Yeah, Billy Q.
You lost Yusuf Salal.
That's right.
You said.
I would rock Kyle Nelson
coming off that win.
let him fight Connor Birx
a man who is
appropriately handled his hair
situation of just leaning
into it
that's right baby
respect CB
all right
but no
anything else
no that I mean come on
look at our hair
stop that don't even I mean
come on guys
I mean
I'm open to the argument
his hair previously was better
but like I mean one is ridiculous and two I don't have to go back to turkey this is just going to be here
forever so we this this nonsense perhaps a killer's wants to explain why damon's hair is better
i'd hear an argument I'd hear an argument I disagree but I'd like to hear it I mean he has a very
clearly defined hairline almost as if it was penciled in Damon Jackson you look good I like it
Damon. I'm good with the turkey.
You know what you fought well?
Go for it. Yeah.
If it makes you happy.
Undefeated with that hair.
If it makes you happy, I'm fine with it.
I'm just saying I prefer natural Damon Jackson, you know.
You did?
That was, that was, that was just a, that's just a better vibe.
We also don't know what that's doing.
Like, how does this interact with USADA?
Because if this can now be a, oh, I miss this.
I failed this.
drug tests, I guess not Usada, whatever they're calling it.
Actually, it's a result of the hair transplant.
Then I changed my A plus word.
Give yourself out.
Yes.
All right.
It sounds like the super chats are already moved past this card and we're already on 300.
I was about to be astonished if we don't get one about Chautrus.
What could be the 300 press conference surprise?
Is there a 300 press conference surprise?
I don't know, but I would assume that something related to Connor McGregor is coming pretty shortly based on the Dana White Instagram video.
And that would be something that feels appropriate to announce during 300 week or at the event of UFC 300.
So probably Connor related, not much of a surprise.
Do you think Dana cares about that or do you think he's just going to announce to himself on social media?
I think he would care about that.
Connor feels.
It's a big win for them to do the 300 thing.
I think that you would do that.
That's fair.
That's fair.
My hope is that it's something to make 301 suck less
because buddy,
that card is in need of help.
All right.
That card needs to go to Turkey.
That card does need to go to Turkey.
No,
we got a response.
Oh,
uh,
kill us.
Rick,
your forehead big A.F.
Jed,
your hair probably doesn't smell like roses.
My hair is 10 out of 10.
10.
I really.
I mean, Achilles, I know you're known for your honesty, accuracy, and truth, but like, I don't feel like I have a big forehead.
Like, it's not really, I wouldn't say that that's one of my...
It's objectively not large.
Yeah, it's like a regular sized forehead.
Like, probably the most regular.
I would honestly say your forehead might be smaller than average because your hair line is so strong.
Yeah, I mean, I don't get it.
There's no receding to that.
I think you need to, I think you need to correct the record and admit that.
that that's not true.
And maybe submit something else because it's not that.
It might be something else.
I mean, it's not thinning.
I mean, it's, it's lush.
Like, the curls are just absolutely beautiful.
Like, I don't know how you could even pick this thing apart.
It's pretty spectacular.
But you can try.
I'd like to hear a counter a rebuttal because it's definitely not the forehead thing.
I also just want to be clear that my hair doesn't smell like roses.
It smells like lavender and some other shit because when I had long hair,
I started going to like a real salon to actually like,
teach me out and take care of hair.
And they sold me these incredibly expensive hair products,
which I just keep buying because they smell good and I like.
So, you know, my hair smells love.
Not right now.
Not here to tell you that this is the cleanest my hair's ever been.
My hair normally smells like lavender and dreams.
So suck in dreams.
And hope.
And Mike?
I mean, I agree though.
Mike's 10 out of 10.
I'll give them that.
No, no, no.
No notes.
What can I say?
I mean, just shaved it today.
Whatever luscious hair I had went in the sink this morning.
All gone.
That's the thing.
Mike, look at how you've approached this.
And now for the rest of your life, you're rock solid.
You're the same.
Okay.
But let me say one thing about that.
Damon's just bringing in a whole lot of difference to his life.
I don't know.
She's not worth it, man.
Let me say one thing about that.
Mike has a very, very good bald head.
And that is a key.
That is important.
You need to have.
have a good bald head.
Because if you don't have a good bald head,
then I can kind of understand maybe trying some other tactics.
When you get the weird shape noggin, no good.
We saw Damon Jackson functionally bald for the last couple of fights.
It was a fine head.
It was a fine bald head.
Perfectly acceptable bald head.
He should have just tried it once.
He's no Mike Heck.
I'll say that.
He's no Mike Heck.
He's not,
I think,
I believe that he if he tries it once,
then there's got to be the fear that if I try it and this goes bad, I'm just, I'm stuck here now.
There's no, there's no saving me once I try this.
So I get going to Turkey before trying bald.
I think you just, I think you should have owned it.
I thought your hair was fine.
It's great.
I wonder if somebody ever does the follicle thing, like the turkey thing where you get the things,
but then you still shave it.
That would be a look because then you like almost you can't really tell you've got like the buzz cut,
but it's not really like showing the.
the long kind of vibey thing.
That could be interesting.
That could be a move right there.
Wow.
Could be the move.
You know?
You know?
Listen, listen.
This is free.
Do the thing, Damon Jackson.
Do the thing.
Eat your heart out of killers.
You couldn't do this.
You can't give out advice like this.
Let's see your hair.
Send in a photo.
Link it.
Drop it in.
Drop it.
Drop it in.
Imageer.
Drop it in there.
Imager.
Yeah.
I mean, just.
I mean, just perfect size forehead.
I mean, what can you say?
I mean, just like 10 out of 10.
You have a nice forehead.
You have a nice forehead.
I got to it's a like,
it's a,
we're judging foreheads on this panel.
Rubbing it in.
Just the lack of wrinkles.
What have you just lived a stress-free life?
Yes.
It's been quite nice run, actually.
It's been great.
It's been great.
All right, man.
Now, now I'm trying to think
about it.
I like that.
All right.
People are superchats.
Okay.
We're about to
the main event
at WrestleMania is about to begin.
Wow.
Who is the main event?
Well,
tonight won.
Oh, no.
The time.
Roman and the Rock.
Rock against Cody
Ruth.
Seth Rollins.
He's about to run.
Scala Harrison of the most to lose
at UFC.
300.
Oh boy.
If she actually makes weight and loses bad,
are we kind of saying that or she just loses?
Yeah, I think she does.
I think the easy answer is yeah, she does.
Because that title shot is there for her.
Nobody else is walking into such a cushy, like,
spot and could lose it all with one loss.
Like, it's there for her on a platter.
And if she loses, it's gone.
Yeah, 41-year-old Holly Home or something like that.
Yeah, this is.
It's like, man, this is a good question because there's a lot of, there's a lot you can actually make arguments for here.
I still think it's Bo Nickel because then he'd forever walk around as a man who lost to Cody Brundage.
Oh, Jesus.
I didn't even consider that was a possibility, but sure, I'll take that.
I'll definitely accept that answer.
Losing, you know, future Hall of Famer, boxing Hall of Famer, champion Hollyholm, or losing to Cody Brundage.
And I think it's Boe Nickel.
I don't think he's gonna
but
that's easily the worst outcome
for anyone on this card
is being the guy who lost to Cody
Bradage
I think you can make a
I think you can make a case
for Justin Gaetjeet here
because he had the title shot
in hand
you can make it for Al Jermaine Sterling
you can make it for
you can make it for Jamal Hill
and all the shit
I mean that
not for Aljo
not for Aljo
because Aljo
if Aljo goes and loses
Calvin Cater
It was too big
He wasn't ready for 45
You try to go back to 35
He'd be fine
That's that I don't
Oh he ain't going back to 35
No way
Have you seen this dude
We've heard this
Nah we've heard this before
We've heard this million times
I'll go of Harrison
In terms of
I think it's Harrison
Not like no
No amount of money
They may lose or that too
But as far as like
If she loses bad
Like was she ever actually
Can she earn another title shot
After that
if she
you think
Casey
I know
we were
all she's got to do
is beat Norma
she's got to
literally
women's banam weight
she might get a title shot
with the loss
because why not
I wonder she'll get a title shot
she misses weight
but Holly said
she wouldn't take it
the fight we'll see
we'll see
yeah Holly
Holly seemed pretty firm
on the not
she shouldn't
Holly
no you just can't
if Holly says that
you should have pulled
her from the fight
I'm like I'm not
I'm not risking this.
Like, this is ridiculous, holly.
Or like, put it in the contract, you get a hundred percent of Kayla's fight purse.
If she comes in.
Yeah, something that makes to it.
If that's the case, Taylor shouldn't take the fight.
All right.
Don't fight for free, kids.
Okay.
All right, we got a lot of super chats coming in.
So let's get through this.
All right.
All right.
All right, it would go.
Jet is AI.
Thank you, Jeremy.
I respect it.
Super Dave.
Jed's hair smells like Keith Peterson.
My hair does not smell like cigarettes and I'm going to say spam.
Again, it doesn't smell like, come on.
You look at Keith Peterson and I love you, Keith.
You're full of all the nonsense.
But like you look like a man who smells a particular way.
My hair doesn't smell great right now.
Again, I'm not here to tell you my hair smells good.
I have not showered day.
But it doesn't smell like cigarettes.
This is like an all-time post show right here.
Like, I am just giggling from end to end.
This is great.
Jed's hair smells like this is great.
Fill in the blank.
I don't know.
That's incredible.
That's a really good comment, if nothing else.
I think he meant Jed.
We could all see the back left side of Jed's head from here.
I mean, again, my hair is not great because I haven't showered today and I was working for the last eight hours.
What does he mean the back left side?
What does that mean?
It's, I don't know.
Or does he mean this?
It's just, I don't know.
Who can say, Rick?
Love you, Tom.
Tomas could say, super chat again.
Tell us to you mean.
Trouon.
Thoughts on Aljo 45.
Is Jamal back too soon?
Two questions.
The second question, I guess we'll find out.
If he can make the way.
If you think he's going to.
Sorry.
If you think Jamal Hill is.
going to go into media day and be like, yeah, man, I'm back too soon.
It's not going to happen.
So we're not going to know the answer.
That's the biggest question mark I have about that entire fight is the answer to that question.
But thoughts on Aljo of 45 heading into 300 New York, Rick.
He's enjoyed some real physical advantages at 35.
It's going to be interesting to see somebody with a more comparable frame to him and see what kind of game he has.
now, I'm very interested in this fight.
This is one of the more intriguing fights on the card for me.
Do you think Cater is the right matchup to make his debut?
I think it's good.
I think it's a good one to kind of really be a measuring stick for him.
What's Cater kind of top 10?
That number 10?
Where is he?
Yeah, he's in that range, right?
Yeah, he's in the U.S.C.
I think he's like seven.
There's eight in the UFCs.
He's eight in UFC.
Yeah.
I think that's right.
I think that's right.
Because you can't, you can't just have Aljo, you know, one fight removed from championships
just coming and do like random bottom tier 145er.
Like this feels, this feels like an appropriate, like measuring stick fight without being
not a high enough caliber opponent for Al Jamein to make sense.
So I like this fight quite a bit.
And I think we're going to find out some things about Al Jameen.
So I'm intrigued.
Is this a good fight for Cater?
Yeah.
Hell, yeah, it is.
So goodbye for both.
So goodbye for both of them.
Yeah.
Yeah.
It's perfect matchmaking.
Perfect.
For both for them.
All right.
Yep.
Uh, do, do, do, do, do.
Um, all right.
Here we go.
This talk.
Hmm.
That's in the John Jones.
So we, we talked about it on the pre-fight show.
Um, again, we can just kind of only speculate with the information that we have right now.
John refuted the claims, put out a statement,
showed a little bit of a video of some high fives and a fist pound going on
with apparently these two drug testing agents
who showed up to his house.
So I don't know what the fuck to believe at this point,
but you know, Greg, or actually, Jed, I'll start with you here.
Your thoughts on this incident and the allegations
and the accusations currently against the,
not your heavyweight champion, but in the brink.
record books, as of right now, the UFC heavyweight champion, John Jones.
Jermaine Durandumie is technically a UFC champion as well historically, and we all can agree
that this is fraudulent of the same as John Jones' heavyweight title. I have, I think,
three thoughts, right? So the first thought, and this is really just a word of advice for everyone,
I know of two immutable truths that I try to live my life by. And one is don't,
trust the police at all. Everything they say to you is probably not true and certainly should be treated
with suspicion. Two, the exact same thing goes for John Jones. Everything he says is probably not true
and even if it is you should be deeply suspect. So we have two competing stories here, both from
entirely unreliable narrators. Just be real suss about everything. Don't feel real confident either
way because all of the facts are getting are highly disputable.
My biggest takeaway from this is it's adorable.
It's deeply funny to me for John Jones to lecture anyone about professionalism,
which was my main takeaway from his statement about being the most unprofessional,
whatever was like, John, I think almost objectively you're the most unprofessional,
like champion in the history of the UFC.
see. And so maybe just like, maybe just don't say shit like that, you know.
And then the last one was like, we'll learn a little bit more about this.
We'll see like what does come out.
We truly don't know.
But I feel like I say something like this every once in a while.
And I'm just going to go ahead and say it again.
If you wake up and you go about your day and you run into an asshole, you ran into an asshole.
But if you wake up and you go about your day, you run into an asshole.
and everywhere you go, you're meeting assholes.
Buddy, you're the asshole.
John Jones, I guess there's a world
where all of these incidents are happening to you
and you are a perpetual victim of bad timing
and unfortunate things.
Or you're the asshole in this situation
because there are literally hundreds of other fighters
on the UFC roster who don't have this happen,
who don't repeatedly have the same sorts of things happening.
It's just Occam's Razor, man.
What's the simplest explanation?
I know what mine is.
Yours might be different.
But this one feels like I know which way I'd be leaning
if I were reading this story, guys.
That's all I'm saying.
Rick, your response to this.
Yeah, I mean, it feels too early for,
us to know or say anything, to be honest, like certainly the track record is not on John Jones
side here, right? But you do have to recognize that like under the best of circumstances,
people showing up to your house randomly is kind of an awkward situation. And in the worst
of circumstances, you could imagine how that could spin to a really weird and out of control
spot. So don't, we're not going to have any idea of what happened in that house.
house or outside that house or whatever.
But the police will do their investigation and we'll ultimately kind of find out the best
approximation of that.
I'd just rebuttal the one thing.
It's not an objectively weird situation for strangers to show up at your house when
they've been literally doing it for a decade.
Like this has been a piece of your life for the last, however, with 2014 or whatever
year it was that you saw it kicked, like 10 years, this has been part of your life.
that's no longer an excuse.
It's an excuse the first time around.
Sure.
I would argue that it's my argument.
I will rebut your rebuttal with saying,
I don't think that ever gets normal.
I don't think that there's a world where people randomly showing up to your house
is ever going to be normal regardless of how many times it happened.
They do it 20 times a year to him.
How is it not?
That's not.
That feels like that's awkward.
That's awkward.
Is it?
I don't know.
If I see my mailman every day,
I'm just like,
oh, I'm pretty used to you around here, buddy.
Here's the mail or whatever.
That just seems like a thing you should get used to.
It's part of your life.
Yeah, the mail comes at the same time every day.
That's kind of the thing.
You get used to the routine of it.
But like, hey, random pop in, random day, random time.
I don't know.
Maybe I'm giving too much rope to John Jones here.
That would never feel normal to me.
Look, if there's one thing.
He's saying something, but he's on mute.
If there's one thing we know for certain,
it's that John Jones deserves the benefit of the doubt.
Yeah.
That's where certainly the defense falls apart.
But we, I mean, and, you know,
I think you're right to a certain, like,
I will acknowledge it should become more part of the routine
for a lot of these fighters.
And we see so many fighters who do it without incident, right?
Certainly there's plenty of precedent.
No, that's,
not true. I mean, we have plenty of horror stories. Well, I don't think have you had police reports yet?
Is this the first, is this the first place report? A lot of them are better. They're just better at
doing like this interaction. Yeah. Well, most of the time, instead of, instead of Paulo Costa
being woken up and being like potentially allegedly, allegedly saying like people who do that die,
he just goes, yeah, and that was pretty shitty. But here's your piss. Like, that's kind of how that goes.
Just, you know, a normal human interaction.
just being a normal person.
I'm saying how many times?
Didn't Volcanovsky get, didn't you sign him
in the Volcanovsky's door before he fought for the,
before he defended his belt or fought in a main event,
like the day before Wayans?
That might have been the Costa one,
but there was a Volcan Acosta one recently that kind of came out
that they were both really like roused out of their sleep,
like very close to very important fights.
And this, that none of that has anything.
And it didn't escalate,
It didn't escalates any bad to bad situation.
What's what I'm saying.
There's been thousands.
This has happened now thousands of times.
And this is the first time that we've now had a police report.
I hate to give Michael Bispin credit for like anything.
But on the broadcast tonight, when there, when Fitz, Fitsy or whoever it wasn't Fitsy,
who's the third dude in the booth?
I can't think of the same right now.
No, not Feltter, the actual play by play guy.
John Gooden.
There you go.
I couldn't think of the same.
When Gooden was like making.
an excuse for the missing of weight in the Cornell Dixon fight or whatever.
I was like, yeah, I talked to her and she said that, you know, fighting in this continent,
like, mess with a thing.
And Bispu was like, that's bullshit.
I fought on every continent in the world.
I never missed weight.
Same token.
Everybody else can go to, can give their blood and urine without getting a police report put together,
man.
Like you're the issue here.
If everyone else can do this, you're the crazy.
one.
I relent.
I mean, there's
two ways to avoid it.
Stop fighting or
be the leader of change.
Get the fighters.
I want to be real clear.
I ain't going to happen.
This is the life you have.
Drug testing is bullshit.
Drug testing
contents, John,
I'm totally pro being mad
about having to do it.
But that's just some person doing
their job.
And you just
you rarely get
police reports that don't have some substance.
Sometimes you do.
Not saying that the cops are great,
but it's just like, come on, man.
You keep being the dude.
You're the common denominator.
Two more quick super chats.
I'm not going to share with this.
Whatever.
Here, I'll put those up there.
Jeffrey.
Merced Bectich needs to come back to the FC.
Wow.
That's a name.
That's a name.
Once upon a time,
I thought Mirsad was.
was going to be the dude
I think we all
I think we all thought that
everyone was so convinced
we were all like oh yeah
and then stupid Darren Elkins
the damn
Darren Elkins just ruined him
yeah but then he picked up two wins after that
which is the otter
he did but he was
mentally done
he just he never got
he never got back the invincibility
after laying wood
to Darren Elkins for 10 minutes
and then getting just epically
come back upon.
Just never, never got back.
And our last super chat
and our last.
Damon Jackson was his last fight.
Was his last EOC fight?
How about that?
Jim and Jack?
Here we go.
It's ended on this.
Who would you drink with?
McGregor Jones.
I'm leaving the bar
and not getting into those kind of problems
immediately.
I'm Batman. I'm
Batman. I'm going to the restroom,
but yet
I am not going in the restroom
or if I do go to the restroom
jumping out the window
this is a really easy call
it's very clearly Connor McGregor
I don't I don't like Connor
either and like I would not
choose to have a beer with Connor
but Connor at least
can have like regular human interactions
with people John can't
John's human interactions are all
weird and insane
and I don't like just I don't know
we don't have to get into
this part of my life.
I don't really want to be preached at,
which feels like it's like 40% of the chance with John.
He will preach in me about,
you know,
whatever or he'll go off,
but some other shit will happen than I want to be,
Connor,
I might just get hit and that would suck,
but that's fine.
Like,
I've been hit a lot in my life.
You get up.
It hurts.
You're fine.
So Connor is a very clear answer.
I go,
there you go.
Real quick,
Mr. Heck,
what time is,
is,
uh,
know tomorrow?
What time is it?
Yeah, what time is it?
People are asking.
I mean, it's not going to be on YouTube.
It's just we're going to record it.
What?
I can't believe you're not doing YouTube show for UFC Vegas.
We will have to, we will have to 300.
That's for sure.

We're an honest program.
Stephen.
Stephen, you super chat went to the point.
I see that super chat.
Casey, save that for the next time we're on air and we'll fire it up then.
Are we talking about Vicenza Bersa?
No, it's Anthony.
Andy Pettis, but yes,
Vincenzo, Perseg.
Vinny Siggs.
Yeah, that of the hem.
All right, guys.
Last pos show before 300.
This is an exciting time.
Give us, give ourselves, we're out of applause.
We got through it.
