Today, I'm going to show you how to elevate your style and your image so that you're impossible to ignore in 2025. Stick around to the end because I have a surprise for you that even the seasoned entrepreneurs have missed.
Starting point is 00:00:49 you're listening to more style a podcast to help you transform your image and transform your influence if you don't know me my name is celeste moore i'm a certified professional image consultant and i help entrepreneurs and influencers just like you discover and master your own unique style so that you can command any room that you walk in with the rise of ai people are more selective than they ever have been. They're looking for real authentic connections and your personal brand sets that tone. Here's a little fun fact.
Starting point is 00:01:25 LinkedIn data shows that polished professional images actually get 21 times more looked at than ones without. People make snap judgments about your credibility and authority in seconds. It's wild and it's actually very true. Did you know that it takes three seconds for someone to make an impression about you? And your style is a major factor in that. Here's another fun fact.
Starting point is 00:01:53 55% of the way that you look and present yourself is taken in from another. 38% is your tone or your body language. It's only 7%, I said that, 7% of what you actually say. It's proven scientific facts here, and it's been proven over and over and over by scientists. Now, I would say that's pretty powerful. So your personal brand is so important. You cannot miss this in 2025. There's really three key pillars that will help you stand out with your personal brand.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Number one is your signature style. Now, this doesn't have to be the same colors or the same exact outfit like a uniform. It needs to be cohesive and match your personal brand. It's the consistent way that you show up and how you present yourself that reflects your personality and your professional goals. I'll give you a couple examples. Now, we all know Steve Jobs was a black turtleneck and pair of jeans and sneakers. Now, Steve Jobs was in tech, clearly, and he, at this point in his career, didn't have
Starting point is 00:03:05 to move up the ladder. he was one of those guys that this was his personal brand and that's okay you knew that he'd show up in the same mannerisms the same outfit pretty much every time and you recognize that as steve jobs now oprah winfrey for example is a female a black female coming up in this world in the as sophisticated right she created her brand as sophistication and it exudes sophistication So here's some practical steps for you to help discover your signature style. Find your style formula. So pick a base like a tailored blazer or a power suit, bold accessories, or even sleek
Starting point is 00:03:47 monochromatic looks. If you don't know what your style is or your colors, that's why I'm here to help you. Use the 4x4 color analysis to help you discover your best 60 colors so that you look not only more youthful, more vibrant, but have the right energy that you want to align in your signature style. These four by four colors will enhance your presence and it will send messages to your audience that you are trying to deliver. Number two is consistency on all platforms. What does that mean? You want to have the same photo on all platforms. When you have different photos, people might know that it's not you, but if you have the same photo on LinkedIn, on Facebook,
Starting point is 00:04:35 on Instagram, on TikTok, on Threads, on YouTube, the people will find you easily and they will know that that's your personal brand. Consistency builds trust in your audience. So whether someone meets you at a conference or networking event or find your LinkedIn profile, your style should match your brand's message. Like I said, use that same profile picture across all platforms. And also, if you're a C-suite, maybe you have a more polished appearance in that picture. If you're creative, maybe you have bright colors because that's who you are relating to and that's who you are. And if you're an influencer, just decide like what industry are you in within that influencing world to make sure that that aligns with your message. The third pillar is authenticity,
Starting point is 00:05:25 guys. People are craving connection. One of the things that's happening on all platforms, especially TikTok, is they want to know who you are at your core. What's your message? Who are you behind that suit? If your style feels fake, they'll sense that. Knowing who you are at your core, from the inner energy to your outer appearance, will actually move that dial in the right direction every time. Here are some practical ways for you to live authentically. Ask yourself these questions. Does that outfit that you have on feel like you? Does the style resonate with your personality? Do the colors resonate with your personality? And does the fit represent who you are? Does it align with your values and your goals? If not, maybe it's time
Starting point is 00:06:23 to look at creating that new personal brand for yourself. I'm going to share a personal story and maybe some of you have heard it and I apologize, but this was one of the most powerful moments in my career and it was actually about myself. See, in September of 2024, I spoke on a stage in Las Vegas. This was one of my first big speaking engagements. And so I really wanted to make sure that my personal brand was authentic to who I was. See, 18 years ago, when I first became an image consultant, I didn't have all the tools that I have today. So I was going off with the tools that I had then, with the colors, with the style, and it didn't resonate with who I was. And so just a year ago I actually tapped into my true authentic color system my style and I used that
Starting point is 00:07:21 to create a suit for this speaking engagement now my audience was innovative creatives they were in a luxury market and so I chose colors that resonated with luxury which were purple and I created a very beautiful suit with great good quality fabric and it was perfectly crafted for me yes it was custom guys because that matters quality over quantity and in doing so when i got up on that stage my message land even harder with that audience because i was relatable people understood who i was at the core and they understood my message even more so dial in if you don't know who you are authentically. Look inside, ask yourself some questions.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Know your personality DNA. What does that mean? Who are you at the core? Are you introvert? Are you extrovert? Do you have ying energy, yang energy? Are you kind of in the middle? What are some of your hobbies?
Starting point is 00:08:23 What do you do for your profession? How does this all relate to style and color? Well, sometimes when we don't wear the right colors, it makes us sick, makes us look tired. But also, if we're wearing too bright of a color for our personality, it can literally drain us with energy. And it comes across inauthentic. So again, that is so important when you're building your personal brand. Now, wouldn't you love three actionable steps to building your personal brand? Well, I'm going to help you right now. The first one is to audit your current style. Take stock into what you're wearing right now.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Does it align with where you want to go? If not, this is key guys. You want to dress for that position that you want. Pretend that you already have that position, whether it's moving up in the corporate ladder. Maybe it's working as a consultant now instead of in corporate world. whatever that is start dressing for your dream job now this not only sends messages to our brain that were already there but to the universe and to other people and to that boss that didn't ever promote you because they never felt you were actually ready for that position now they see that you're dressing the part and so you get the promotion guys it's that simple also when you're taking audit of where you're at right now. Identify areas that you could improve. Is your wardrobe
Starting point is 00:09:58 outdated? Is it inconsistent? Do your styles mismatch and they're not in alignment with who you are and your message? The second actionable step is to invest in key pieces. There are must have staples in this 2025 wardrobe of yours. You need to have a tailored blazer. The fit of clothing is so important. The more that it fits your body correctly based on your vertical, non-vertical body type and to your actual style, this sends a message of being more credible and trusting. Everyone needs a custom suit. Yes, I said it, everybody. You can take those pieces separate, a jacket and that could be your tailored blazer as well and a pant or a skirt to mix and match in your wardrobe because i want you to build a capsule wardrobe at the end of the day and it
Starting point is 00:10:54 needs to be in the best fabrics the right fabrics for your lifestyle and where you actually live it needs to be the colors of your four by four color wheel technically in the core colors and it will be perfectly your style which it should be and the fit like i said a perfectly crafted suit is literally a chef's kiss, guys. Invest in high quality shoes. One of the worst things that can throw off your whole look are cheap shoes, scuffed shoes, dirty shoes. Anything like that will truly make you look cheap. So make sure and invest in high quality shoes because at the end of the day, they can be polished, they can be clean, and they'll last you a long time. Invest in some key accessories that pop or that send a unique style message to your audience. Remember,
Starting point is 00:11:48 accessories for women are also makeup, perfume, cologne. Those are all accessories. Wear the right amount of accessories for your personality and for your audience. The third key actionable step is to show up everywhere. Start showing up online, at events, and even in casual settings as the expert that you truly are. Your image should always reflect your goals, personal and professional. In today's market, you wanna differentiate yourself from everybody else.
Starting point is 00:12:21 You don't wanna blend in. And how you do this is dialing in your personal brand authentically.
