Starting point is 00:00:00 Have you ever wanted to age backwards and want to know the secret? So we've all heard about like antioxidants. They're really good for you. But the problem with that is most of them are rather unstable. Could you really do it? Everybody says they can. Every skincare company claims that they can do something like this. To make something stay the same for three years,
Starting point is 00:00:20 you have to add a lot of stuff and none of that stuff is good for your skin. So just like we don't like to eat preserved food because it has all this stuff that's not optimal for cellular growth. So what happens when you use those products? You're listening to MoreStyle, a podcast to help you transform your image and transform your influence. Have you ever wanted to age backwards and want to know the secret? Well, today I have the secret to aging backwards. Today I have with me Rae Indigo. She's a biochemist, a yogi, and a martial artist. And I'm so grateful to have her here. She also created Formula Flawless.
Starting point is 00:01:01 So thank you, Rae, for coming on the show today. Thank you for the lovely introduction. I am super happy to be able to share kind of how we do that. Yeah, I can't wait to... Aging backwards. I know everybody here wants to know the secret. If you could put this formula in a bottle to age backwards, could you really do it? Everybody says they can. Every skincare company claims that they can do something like this. And if you do XYZ or buy this product, and I'll tell you, in my own experience, it has not worked. It is not like I've tried at all. Although two weeks ago, this beautiful young lady has allowed me to try the bottle of youth, if you will, and two weeks and I'm already seeing results. So how did this process start for you? Well, I got into skincare when I was
Starting point is 00:01:58 about 19. Then I didn't have the same issues that I do now. It was acne, scars, you know, hormonal acne. And basically what we do different is we make everything fresh. And when you're doing chemistry and you're making something, it's like if you're formulating it to last on a shelf for three to five years, yeah, you have to think in a certain way. So we all heard about like antioxidants and they're really good for you. But the problem with that is most of them are rather unstable. Like for instance, everyone loves vitamin C, but vitamin C, once it's in solution, it fully oxidizes, meaning it doesn't do anything after six weeks. So if you're not getting your vitamin C serum within six weeks of it being made, it doesn't work. So we have like the actives,
Starting point is 00:02:49 the things that they're selling you on, but then what are those put in? So usually they're put in a bunch of stabilizers fillers additives to make something stay the same for three years that's essentially you know a cream or a lotion or a serum you have to add a lot of stuff and none of that stuff is good for your skin so just like we don't like to eat preserved food yeah why because it has all this stuff that's not optimal for cellular growth so what happens when you use those products is that your skin, it can't, it's constantly having to fight against the damaging things and the rest isn't very nourishing because it's like the difference between a fresh salad versus, hey, here's one I preserved for six months. Wow. So you see? Okay. You can see the
Starting point is 00:03:39 total, total difference. The dust got me outside. It's windy. So the thing that you begin to experience is when you give the skin proper nutrition. So actually something that has nothing bad for in a whole bunch of really alive actives, it grows back different. And this comes down to what they call epigenetics. And so epigenetics means our DNA is fixed, but as to which genes are turned on or turned off, that's when we get either we're growing back every skin cycle in a slightly improved condition or it's going slightly down and without kind of making the right choices we're going to go slightly down or quickly depending like if we also get really stressed out you know if we have a lot of strong emotions that you know that your your skin actually
Starting point is 00:04:25 gets thinner it gets drier it gets crepey and that can happen really quick oh yeah i've experienced of all but the good news is if it goes down it can also go back up wow there's just such a lot of misinformation out there and I'm sure just like with my industry it drives me insane like it's just about re-educating and little did I know all of this stuff I was like what you know let's just talk about to anybody listening here like what are the step-by-step process that you would go through if someone called you and was like, I need I need your assistance. I need good skin. Yeah. So I asked them, I basically I want to understand what first off what the issue is. Is it for some people it's hyperpigmentation. They're starting to get, you know, first the
Starting point is 00:05:16 skin will have like little parts where it seems slightly different colored and then you'll even get darker spots. Yeah. And so this can be age spots, hyperpigmentation. So this is one one concern. And what's happening when we have hyperpigmentation is something called senescent cells. They're also called zombie cells, which is a little more fun. And basically a senescent cell is a cell that it's not really alive, but it didn't die off. And so they're just kind of like they're not being cleared out because the skin has gotten to a condition where it's not able to keep a good regeneration. It's gotten stagnant, it's gotten thinner, there's not enough water. There's not enough of the lipids or fats that really keep it hydrated. And so in that state,
Starting point is 00:06:00 a lot of cells, it's kind of like, eh, it's too much effort to really get rid of it. So you get these senescent cells and they leach inflammatory poisons into the surrounding cells. This creates hyperpigmentation. It also makes the skin, so the collagen, the different things that put elasticity in the skin, these become weaker and weaker. So we lose tensile strength. So I'm 45. Look, everything moves and then it goes back. That's the rebound. So what we want to create in the skin when we're dealing with hyperpigmentation or we're dealing with loss of that rebound effect, it's the same issue. We have these senescent cells and we have to train the skin, each skin cycle. So a skin regrowth cycle is 30 to 40 days.
Starting point is 00:06:48 As we get older, it's a little closer to 40. And in that cycle, you grow entirely new cells. So what I do with our fresh products, we have a very different manufacturing process and a different kind of ethos in the company because I'm looking for a successful result. And I know as a chemist that you can't get that if I'm putting a bunch of filler additives and a huge preservative system, which is anti-life. It's a poison. all of that is now the skin has to work through all of that and the actives most of them aren't even active anymore wow they're just so it can't work you have to change the manufacturing and when you do that now the skin starts to get proper nutrition a bunch of like broad spectrum
Starting point is 00:07:28 antioxidants specific ones you know every formulation has a slightly different thing so basically what happens is when we use something that's fresh and has the right actives for your skin, that cycle of slow degeneration or rapid begins to reverse. And so now, while you've only been using it two weeks, you haven't gotten even through one skin cycle. So meaning that that's just the kind of what I call the moisturizing and slight stimulant effect of like the naturalness of it. But wait till you see what happens at two months, three months. Yeah. And this, so I find the right skin matching. So I talk to you and I say, okay, what do you do in the day? Like if you wear, um, if you like to wear a lot of makeup, there's certain formulations that go good under
Starting point is 00:08:14 makeup. If you like to go natural most days, then I recommend maybe something different. Okay. And after that, then we find your right combination and that's the nutrition. But then as you know, I'm really into the workout part as well. Yeah. Yeah. The workout's key. Okay. So tell me about this workout. So I'm very happy that a lot of information is getting out about this. One of my very favorite things to do for the skin and the fascia, kind of what the skin rests on, is something called a gua sha tool. Yeah. So these literally sculpt your face through time.
Starting point is 00:08:52 Now, like one of the amazing things that happens, like I work a lot on the computer way too much. We're at our phone. And so our head's always kind of in this slightly tilted down position. so the lymphatic fluid as it drains it'll tend to start to settle around the eyes either the upper eye or under are usually the upper and then we go to sleep we don't do anything and we think that we're going to kind of regenerate while we're sleeping but what actually happens is that that fluid because we didn't do anything to really move it it's it's passive it's lazy it's just like so it goes to a place of like low pressure which is the eye socket now as it goes there so this
Starting point is 00:09:28 gets way worse oh no as it goes there yeah it'll it'll often not every everyone's the same but it'll often settle underneath the eyes and then we wake up in the morning we're a little puffy we don't know what to do so now we compound this day after day after day and then when you get the little puffiness you also feel like you want to rub it this area around our eyes has the um least elasticity so every time you tug on it yeah you're you're making the skin more saggy now you go to sleep add some more like fluid the lymphatic fluid so this is kind of building up and then one day we wake up and it got past a certain point and we might have hooded lids or big bags and what do we do gua sha to the rescue yeah yeah now it took you a while to get to that condition
Starting point is 00:10:13 so we have to get past the like idea of instant results this is this is sculpting or your face through time so you begin to and i have a bunch of free tutorials on my website okay you can do It's pretty obvious in the menu bar. But this kind of stuff then begins to get rid of all the disbalanced fluids. So your lymphatic system is like the sewage system. Yeah. And if that gets congested, we get puffy. But also when you're doing these movements, it's stimulating circulation, which is delivering the nutrition to the cells.
Starting point is 00:10:45 So these two things help the skin to grow back with more of that tensile strength. We want the skin to be a little thicker in general. I'm not saying thick skin, but like thin as we get older, it gets saggy and thin. So we want to start to give the impulse to grow better tissue. Just like if you go to the gym and you're like doing bicep curls, you're creating this little tiny microtrauma. And then you grow back with some sweet bicep. You know, sweet biceps on our face. Exactly. You're going to get some sweet face biceps.
Starting point is 00:11:18 Yes. So there's a lot of different things you can do from like movements to to plump out lip lines to releasing tension in the forehead. And this is symbiotic with using these fresh organic products that are high efficacy. So they're not the normal natural brand. Okay. We put a lot of like high potency things in the organic, beautiful bases. Wow. So it works. Yeah. And I think you also are really adamant about microneedling. Yes. I love microneedling. So. And what does microneedling do? Well, when we hear the word needle, we immediately go, ah, yeah. And there's different depth of microneedling. So if you go to get it done and you're under anesthesia, they're going to be using usually what's like an eight point needle and how it works is that means eight needles in a little circle not this big but tiny and it basically presses it in
Starting point is 00:12:14 and then the device retracts it now when you have only eight it goes further into the skin so it's targeting the deeper layers of your of your skin and a little bit the top this is not what you do at home okay that hurts yeah yeah sounds like a little painful that's painful okay So you can do microneedling at home, but we use a 36-point. Now, because you have more needles in the same amount of space, it doesn't go very deep. It feels kind of like a cat licking your—have you tried yet? I have. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:49 If you turn it up too high, yeah, you can, but it's very like—and what that does is it creates a microtrauma that your body says, oh, I got to do something about this, and it grows better tissue. It gives you more tensile strength. Yeah, which puts more collagen, elastin, and gives you that rebound effect. Yes. Right? I don't want to do that, but, you know, I do want to do that. I'm kidding.
Starting point is 00:13:14 You know, it's like when you get Botox and you're like, I don't want this to happen. Well, I'm demonstrating it, but one thing that I'm showing you, because people think I have it, I don't talk with my forehead. Yeah. And so if you have a habit of talking with your forehead, maybe around a Botox and then train yourself because eventually Botox is going to weaken a lot of the structural muscles. So it's something to be used as a training prop. Interesting. And then you want to put like habits in so that you're because if you gua sha any of these wrinkled areas, it's going to release the skin. It's going to release the tension from the facial expression.
Starting point is 00:13:52 expression. And it's also going to help to restructure the underlying fascia by stimulating it. It says, ah, I'll grow back here. But if we just leave it, the only stimulation it gets is the constant creasing. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. That makes sense. It's very logical. It's just that you have to take time. So when you say take time, is that relative to an individual skin or is there like a common, you know, four to six weeks? Yeah. So if you regrow, if your skin, you regrow entire new cells every 30 to 40 days, when we're talking about that cycle, we're looking at an improvement of tensile strength every 30 to 40 days as it's growing back. But when we're talking about like the fascia, which is oftentimes partly we have a deep furrowed brow right here. If we're talking
Starting point is 00:14:41 about that now we're dealing with a tissue that doesn't grow back in 40 days we're looking at a longer cycle so if you have been you know furrowing your brow for you know 20 years yeah give it a couple of months it'll you'll you'll immediately see change even just from the relaxation caused from release because it's the muscles are tight but the fascia web is also folded and bent and and so the two basically because you're not doing anything to change it they just create grooves oh wow when you stimulate it the muscles release and that groove is stimulated to grow back with more more natural filler hyaluronic acid your body naturally creates hyaluronic acid so but it's a slower path so if you have that to really get rid of it fully fully fully and it's
Starting point is 00:15:31 deep we went hard you know over 20 years eight to ten months okay possibly longer if it's not too bad and you just have the beginning of a habit you'll see a huge improvement in three or four months yeah and you can you know so it's it's there there you go it's that cycle but you're doing it and as far as doing this with my with this particular movement i'll do that like once a week twice a week but a little bit every day when i just kind of decompress just a little bit there and then other times i'll spend 10 minutes maybe working on it so when you say you spend 10 minutes is it one area one area okay yeah okay well i haven't done that yet guys so tick tock yeah yeah one area especially when it comes to like lip lines because uh what happens
Starting point is 00:16:18 is in the the technique you're kind of going back and forth like this going back and forth and and you'll see at first it just feels good you're releasing something but then as you get deeper you actually find like kind of crunchy stuff and and and it'll actually make the lips swell okay yeah so that's why i say don't do it if you're shooting videos the next day or you have a meeting you'll you'll see it'll swell but what happens is over time lip lines from smokers lines to just frustration lines dissolve and the natural like fullness will come back because you haven't been most people just do this with their lips they compress the tension lips and think about how many times a day you make tension lips well the muscular activity changes the shape and the
Starting point is 00:17:03 tissue of the bouncy, buoyant blossom of a beautiful lip is constricted on a regular basis. So by undoing this, we're undoing the habit and the lips become more full. And my lips are bigger now than they were when I was younger, not because of injections, just, you know, this massage, the tissue comes back more full. I mean, it makes so much sense. But, you know, I think now, like, especially in New York, you'll see these places, these face sculpting places, and that's pretty much what they're doing there? Or do you not know? I haven't been to them.
Starting point is 00:17:38 Okay. There's a lot of new technologies nowadays. Like we're really fortunate. There's different things that use like electro-stimulant. There's a lot of different devices. Some of them are more effective than others, like the red light. When it comes to like this particular kind of work, a manual gua sha is the most effective.
Starting point is 00:17:56 There's other things that will lift and tighten in other ways. But if we're trying to undo a deep-seated wrinkle, it's a bit of hard work, which is why, you know, we have to say, you know, do the practice, do it more, watch a movie, get there with your stone. You know, look at the videos and you'll just see, ah, releasing jaw tension. You know, you can spend hours in there because we've been clenching, clenching, clenching our whole lives. And when you go into here, you'll find what you think are like knots so tight they feel like bones. Those are adhered muscles. And that adhesion makes the, looks like you have like a hamster with like some nuts in your cheek pouches, you know. And it gives a nice image for you to the face.
Starting point is 00:18:40 And we don't know it's there because it's always been there. Is there any right or wrong way to Gua Sha? Or is it just getting the movement? Well, there are different techniques. Okay. So there's techniques for circulation and lymphatic that are oftentimes like longer gliding movements. Okay. And then there's techniques to release the just tense muscles that, you know, like I was talking about here in the cheeks.
Starting point is 00:19:05 And there's techniques for releasing like the fascia grooves and lip lines. They're all, they all work together, but there are different techniques. As far as wrong way, if you're stretching the skin, if the move you're doing, you see the skin stretching, stop. Because when you do it, you want to have a serum on that lets it glide. So if when the device is, your Gua Sha is going and it's catching the skin from pressure, you're actually stretching. Okay. So that would just be bad technique. And there's, and then there's stuff that you do like to, this is a cool one to lift the hooded lids where you actually, you know, you'll hold like this and lift it up and blink.
Starting point is 00:19:50 Yeah. another one you do that but you look down and just hold and i'm pulling up with the eye like with the muscles while holding it closed and these things help to sculpt that area and there we kind of strengthen and balance some muscles so not so much with the gua sha which is releasing tension okay now we're learning to lift because think about when you're like looking at your phone the eyes are relaxed and it kind of we don't use the muscle enough and so one side will droop a little but it happens a bit by bit day by day year by year so we don't notice it until one day you're like until one day what oh what how you're it's all down like this and you can totally lift
Starting point is 00:20:31 that now we all have different bone shape but really there's a lot that can be done i've seen fully hooded lids where the the top um uh brow skin or um god my brain there you go this this this skin the skin right here yeah it was all the way down i've seen that lift wow because that we're strengthening the muscles and part of that too it's getting the scalp is also holding things in the wrong position so we actually do techniques to release tension up to the scalp so that it can rest back because look look i can give myself hooded lids you see just from changing look i'm moving the skin on the face wow well if it's regularly in this position it over time it settles in we can over time settle it back into another position wow because this is a living
Starting point is 00:21:22 this thing is a living thing we can sculpt it through time you're not stuck so gravity is not like you know gravity isn't it's not a death sentence yeah it's just something that we have to as we get older we have to begin to add into like i call them like little rituals of rejuvenation yeah and it doesn't doesn't have to be like an hour no no five minutes here like there's a lot that can be done just by attention and of course using really good nutrition because that's the fuel that's the building blocks and you know that's what that's what we make and you're already getting the benefits just wait till you're six months in how can i train my forehead to stop wrinkling uh so so i was really fortunate when i was in my 20s i was dating a guy who was a
Starting point is 00:22:14 hairdresser and he did not want me i used to really like go like this every all the time i like lived in that facial expression every time i did it he would make this sound like no and he would touch my it was so annoying but he was so right now not everyone has like a hairdresser as a boyfriend to follow you around and like use the finger so what you can do is um take pieces of tape when you're at home you you know live a little go out in public like that if you want but you put one right here just a tiny piece in between the eyebrows and then another on your forehead doesn't have to cover the whole forehead because you'll notice then when you move you'll feel it and so um they have those frowny things now yes i don't know the ingredients in
Starting point is 00:23:00 those so i can't speak to that i like the idea though is it just yeah i don't know if it's just tape or not no it's not oh yeah so they actually hydrate a lot of them have different collagen um so i don't it can't speak to the formulation but the idea of just having something there that's a physical reminder and then every time you go to like this you feel it and now you start to interrupt the habit and that you can have like tons of, you can still be a highly expressive person and just leave that zen. I love that. How do we zen our face? So Formula Flawless is not just vitamins. There's no vitamins. Okay. It's not just, well, in the sense like we take a vitamin, right? It nourishes our body. So it's a food like you, right? Yes. So Formula Flawless
Starting point is 00:23:52 isn't just a food. It is a whole... Superfood. Okay. Superfood for your face. So, you know, you hear a lot in skincare about things like ceramides. Ceramides are wonderful. A ceramide is essentially a lipid or a fat that different fats penetrate to different levels of the skin. And ceramides kind of hug the outside, and they sit there creating a boundary that holds moisture in. Now, our skin boundary is super important, so we definitely want to have that. So ceramides are something that can be formulated in like a cream or in a serum to add that really nice hugging protection. So what we'll do is we'll take beautiful, you know, antioxidant-rich like pomegranate. and will totally comes in fresh super fragrant like we don't use perfumes or scents everything
Starting point is 00:24:45 is actually the smell of the ingredients then we make everything fresh every week wow so it's totally alive and then we ship we don't we have a few retail locations where i literally deliver every week and you get it and it's not that they go bad it's that the vibrancy of when it's first made to six months those antioxidants that pomegranate which smelled like rich it's so yummy here here here you go all right what is this just i'm going to give you one drop okay what is this what is this one just have a have a this is a lifting serum and what's the name of this this is our formula 12 okay and i want you to smell that oh my god it smells amazing isn't that this this is made fresh pomegranates no no that doesn't have i'm going to show it so i want
Starting point is 00:25:33 juice something like that some kind of life that has passion flower um uh a bunch of like weird named things and now on the other hand try this now here you're gonna smell the fresh pomegranate lum blueberry i want to eat it yes this smells like an organic jolly rancher see the difference yeah totally different scent now that comes from the actual liveness of the ingredients and unless you're getting ingredients in fresh and then shipping them out everybody misses this so the second serum this is our formula 19 I call it just fruit and it smells it's just fruit literally it's five ingredients it smells so good yeah and they're super super pure and what happens they come in we mix it it goes out now I found one that was two and a half years old that I'd
Starting point is 00:26:22 like in old packaging and it's a great test because the fresh one I did this in my lab with a client the other day and I'm like, now smell the one that's two and a half years old. There's doesn't smell like anything. It's like a hint of something that might have been there. OK. Yeah. So you've gotten. Yeah. Time. Time destroys time. Like think about a salad sitting out. Yeah. It's not that fast, obviously. Yeah. But it's the right idea. OK. And so we're losing the best part of skincare by formulating things to sit on a shelf. The whole idea of what does a normal company do? They make 10,000 or 100,000 of something. It sits in a warehouse. If you are lucky enough to get it in the beginning, it's better, but it's not that much better because
Starting point is 00:27:10 they're using refined oils. Pomegranate, if I use a pomegranate oil, and we use all different parts of pomegranate and it's unrefined it's not gonna last it's it's not that it goes bad it loses all the vitality but if it's refined it never had any smell to begin with wow it it's useless as a it's just a useless molecule now is it bad for you no but it doesn't it's not effective it's not effective and that's what we do is we make it effective everything's just high efficacy and And I'm always upsourcing, finding, you know, like the plum oil I use comes from a specific region in France where you have this just intense, bright floral palette. But other plum oil, even if it's totally organic, totally fresh, doesn't have that because one of them has all those actives. So how are you sourcing your product?
Starting point is 00:28:03 It's a lot of time, baby. Yeah. It's a lot of time. Yeah. It's a lot of time, research, testing, testing, testing. Okay. Testing, testing, testing. that's on yourself well and on everything but it's also knowing like when you've done this
Starting point is 00:28:18 day in day out and you when you know things you you can tell very quickly it would be a cool thing for me to like show you like a like like like oils are easy ones because it's a tends to be more stable to just have you smell five different plum oils you know you'll know right away well You'll know, you'll know, you'll, you'll, even though they're all same price region, same, you know, the one of them will shine like a gem. And that's what we make our products from. Wow. So can you, you brought some of your products with you. Can you name like the golden child? The golden child? Yes. So I have it here. Let me find the golden child. So our golden child is our formula three.
Starting point is 00:29:02 And you have to shake it because it has a collagen layer. If you see, it turns this golden orange, and it has a collagen layer. So collagen in a product, it puts water element into the skin, but then you also have things that stimulate the growth of collagen. So when we see this word, I have products that stimulate the growth of collagen, and they don't have collagen in them. Okay. Okay, they stimulate something.
Starting point is 00:29:32 This provides this hydration, this plumping, and then everything else, it's like a super nutrition serum. So this one has this rose that I bring in from Eastern Europe, and it's crystal at room temperature. Oh, wow. Yeah. So when it's properly extracted, which it has to be done, the facility has to be where they're harvested to get this. There's a very specific way. Okay. So I'm not going to be doing that one myself for a while until I buy a property on giant rose fields.
Starting point is 00:30:01 It's crystal. And so that particular rose oil costs at least $2 a drop. But it's a medicinal, it's like does something totally different. You buy from another brand, they say rose oil, they claim all the benefits of the Maserati version, but they buy one that's 5 cents a drop. You have a very different efficacy. So this has that in it. And it gives the skin that translucent lightness.
Starting point is 00:30:28 It tightens the pores and rose is a wonderful element to work with. It's wonderful. So this is our biggest seller. It launched the brand because it's the one thing that if you're dealing with a whole bunch of issues, this is going to hydrate. A lot of people have dehydrated skin. It's a slightly heavier formulation. So for younger people, it's maybe not the one I would recommend unless they are under 30. This is probably too heavy.
Starting point is 00:30:54 but right in our mid-30s all of a sudden the skin is like feed me yes so so this is a big seller and it's just it's a wonderful wonderful product it's what i use myself i use that daily i think you're using that one too i am i am so tell me this i'm gonna ask one more product and then you know you've got there's a lot yeah you can definitely go check out her products but the F-108. Oh, yeah. Tell me about the F-108. So the F-108 is my answer to the retinol industry. Okay. So for at least 20 years, I've been trying to tell people that retinols are dangerous. And it's the way that they work. So they work by creating almost like an aggravation at the cellular level, which causes the tissue. Remember, microtrauma stimulates collagen growth.
Starting point is 00:31:49 but it does it in a way that somehow exhausts the cells and and i've been saying they finally decided to study this that it can cause cancer it does it causes skin cancer it also makes your skin dilate is not the right word but makes the sunlight so it penetrates deeper and the skin can't resist so you become very light sensitive and and i'm talking diffused light not just direct sun so you have to always be even like what's bouncing off the pavement if you're wearing a hat It also causes inflammation, redness. It's a dastardly thing, honestly. Dastardly.
Starting point is 00:32:25 But everyone's told that they should use it. So I don't like that. I don't agree. So there's another thing that we can do. So everything that's called a vitamin A class, retinol, retinoids, tretinoin, all the variants, synthetic and natural vitamin A class, I don't touch. Because even if it's natural, which doesn't cause skin cancer, it's still aggravating and some people will really fly. It's not the best answer. Okay.
Starting point is 00:32:53 So there's another ingredient that comes from Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine. The plant is known as Babchi and it was used to heal leprosy, bone healing. It basically indicates and reminds the cells how to restructure with a younger version. It's amazing. And they isolated one molecule in that called Bacushiol. There's different grades of this. Okay. Because, you know, it makes a big difference of 1% change in grade.
Starting point is 00:33:23 The quality increases tremendously. So this particular molecule is very squirrely to work with. It's a hot molecule. Okay. You know, it can burn you. Oh. Yeah, it's a hot molecule. It's concentrate.
Starting point is 00:33:36 So careful, kids. Now, it's not going to explode, but, you know, I'm just saying. so um most and it's also very expensive if you get the right quality which is the one you want so with this molecule most skincare companies do one percent under because you have to know how to formulate well and and also how to work with this and also it's expensive so they want to again claim the benefits without actually delivering them okay so i spent a lot of time working with this. And we formulate something that I call F-108. It's a sacred number in yoga. And 108 essentially is an intense collagen creation serum. So it gives the information to the cells,
Starting point is 00:34:17 woohoo, let's go. Yeah. Gives you this youthful and we formulate at 10%. Oh, wow. And this particular formulation is is made in a way so it goes deep into the the very like where the cells begin and and it communicates with them so what happens is that not just the top of the skin begins to get better tensile strength but also hyperpigmentation i've seen it um with cysts on the face my husband had one and uh it a year of using this one day it just it opened something came out and it closed. I've seen like, I'm not saying it's a treatment. I'm saying I've seen like under eye area gets restructured, hyperpigmentation. I've seen age spots disappear. But mostly I use it for the tightening and lifting. And that particular serum, because it's a
Starting point is 00:35:09 treatment serum, requires something else to be put on top of it. So the reason that I did that instead of making it more dilute, is it can be used for different skin needs. So someone who's in their mid-20s who has, like, acne, hyperpigmentation, or scars, they're going to want to put something different on top than someone who's in their 30s, 40s, or 50s who has more, like, oh, signs of aging. So for someone like my group, I'm 45, 45 and up, I highly recommend the combination of the 108 and the F3 because this is going to be deeply hydrating.
Starting point is 00:35:45 It's a super nutrition profile, and it just, the skin will eat it up. Now, the reason that I use this one is there's no side effects. So you don't, like with a traditional retinol, so this is what's called a functional, not structural. So structure meaning structure of, functional meaning functions like. So it functions like a retinol, but is not. Yeah. So it has none of the inflammation or redness, no peeling, and it's sun protective. Now, that doesn't mean it's a sunblock. What it means is that the sun, when the sun hits your skin, your skin goes, oh, yeah, I got this. It's more resilient to it. Yeah. And it doesn't get as a hyperpigmentation as much either. So it's just a wonderful formulation. I love it.
Starting point is 00:36:32 Well, you have told me so many different things than I have ever heard on any skincare line ever. And it is so important that people know the difference. No, because what is useful? Useful is skin unaffected. Yeah, it's just not been affected yet. And so what we're doing is we're giving this timeless quality, more resilience.
