Starting point is 00:00:57 So let's get into today's episode. So I want to welcome everybody today to another amazing show with the Down and Dirty podcast. Today we have a guest, Brian, aka Uncle B Ayers, who is a men's sexual health, excuse me a sexual performance coach with over 22 years of experience his research into men's sexual health led him to create the men's sexual performance scale and the revolutionary correct me if i say this right is it e-s-e-i-s or do you say isis 25 easiest easiest 25 sexual health program, along with two books, How to Be a Better Lover in 30 Days, or Less and Go Hard. So Brian, thank you so much for being on today's podcast. This is episode number 22.
Starting point is 00:02:03 I'm super excited to find out more in detail about what it is you do and how you got here. um so how did you get into this line of work or into helping men build their sexual performance and health okay well first of all thank you very much for having me um well yeah the how i got into this is always a fun story so basically uh years ago a good 24 years 25 years now um myself and my ex at the time we were she's uh from liberia and we went to a christmas party and there was a root in a bottle. And we said, what is that? And he said, it's an aphrodisiac. We're like, oh, okay, poor. And we took it. And the next morning we were giving each other high fives in bed. And it was like, hey, this is amazing. This really works well. She was into herbology. I was
Starting point is 00:02:56 into entrepreneurship. And so we decided to take this great formula, liquid formula, and put it out there on the market and it worked you know for a great many of the guys who were taking it it worked without a problem but of course uh not everything is for everybody so we had some folks who came through and said it doesn't work for me now initially this was sort of shocking because we had so many people it was working for like why is it not working for these guys and so after you know talking with them doing some surveys uh just doing the research you know it just realized that you know, they weren't getting the right information and they were doing the wrong other things. And, you know, we're selling a supplement. It's supposed to supplement the
Starting point is 00:03:41 other things you're doing. And there wasn't a clear guide as to what the other things guys were supposed to be doing in terms of their sexual health. And so, you know, with that, I just kept, you know, doing blogs, writing books and, you know, just talking with guys and over a period of time, you know, just coaching them. And it ended up working out very well for the people who are our clients and just for me in terms of learning what it is that you know guys need in terms of their uh not only their health but also their mentality in terms of how they approach their sexual health that's amazing thank you that's a really cool story that you were able to you know have this experience but then further do the research and find out why some
Starting point is 00:04:28 weren't reacting to this aphrodisiac and some were so how did you how were you based on your research how were you able to is this how you fine-tuned into what you've taught men over the years or absolutely yeah i mean there's so many things that uh that's happening that i wasn't aware of because you know when i started this process i was a good 24 and at that age i didn't need too much help. So initially I started out talking about, you know, just sexual techniques, things you need to know about the woman and about yourself as a man. Do you hang to the left? Do you hang to the left? Do you hang to the right? That, you know, different positions that that means, you know, all those different things like that. And as I got older, it became more apparent. Now
Starting point is 00:05:18 one, the product that I was taking is called Goodwood. It's a liquid, all natural liquid aphrodisiac, increases your testosterone levels and your blood flow, two things that are helpful for getting an erection. And so, you know, I've taken more of that than anybody on the planet. And, you know, it gave me an unfair advantage once I left out of my 30s and, you know, going into my 40s in terms of, you know, I'm taking this, but it was masking, you know, some of the things that I wasn't paying attention to in terms of my health. So, you know, as my health, as you get older, life happens. So, you know, the number of Super Bowl parties and football parties and happy hours and endless buffets, et cetera, et cetera, all of it added up and just got to a
Starting point is 00:06:08 point where it's like, hey, I'm not the healthy 25 year old I used to be. And even if I'm taking taking this supplement is still not it's not doing what it used to do as all things would and so from there it was like I shifted my focus into the sexual health side of things and from there yeah it just you know you're just learning more and more and you get more into the the you know as I started talking to guys and you know as you get older you can get deeper into conversations and you start realizing you know when you first when i first got into it it was all about well you know and you need to do this you need to do that and then after talking to the guys it was understanding how deep this gets because i've had guys who um uh they lost
Starting point is 00:06:58 their marriages um i have a guy who uh he was engaged for two years and they ended that because he couldn't perform um i know of guys who's uh they've lost their families um and they've you know guys who are engaged or you know the the lady stepped out on them and it even goes in the opposite direction which sort of surprised me you have guys who will have a rectal dysfunction and they will leave the relationship and many times you know i was trying to figure out why that would happens because of because of something she is doing and it's less of that and more of that they're being reminded that they can't perform okay and so they're like okay this is just too much i need to you know i need to leave and and then once i get my stuff together then i can come
Starting point is 00:07:47 back um and so it you know once you start understanding that side it becomes it takes the uh a lot of people you know say sort of it's like oh you're just taking care of johnsons and that's what you do is like well yeah yeah i also take care of lives uh you know there's some pregnancy there's some pregnancies that were attributed to the work that i've done so that's amazing oh yeah wow you know it it is such it does take it to such a deeper level i mean i can't imagine being in a relationship and being the only thing that maybe and obviously there's not that's not the only thing that's going on in some of these relationships but to know that if I was a man and I couldn't sexually perform, you know, for my fiance, yeah, that would be
Starting point is 00:08:35 not even just embarrassing, but just you're confident you have to have no confidence. And yeah, that's amazing what you do. And there's a lot of things that go into it. As you said, there can be the relationship side, you know, for men, it's the 80-20 rule of sexual performance. 80% of it's physical because we have a member that has to move and 20% of it is, is mental in terms of our stress levels and things like that. And as you get older, that shifts. So it could get to like 70%, 30%. I mean, the physical still, you still have to take care of it, but you know, guys, mentalities change as they get older. And so the sex drive isn't as high. and so it feed it's a it's a feedback loop so you don't have a high sex drive so you're not
Starting point is 00:09:26 paying attention to your sexual health and then when it's time to you know perform well you haven't been taking care of yourself and you haven't been you know uh your mentality isn't to really go for it so you end up just sex used to be a a big thing on the on the platter and now it's like a side dish. Nobody wants that. For some people that works in relationships, as you get into some people, it does not. But it's better, you know, because when we talk about men's sexual health is our actual health. And that's the biggest thing of it all. We just happen to have an indicator stick in the middle of our bodies that will let us know. Yeah, that's amazing. So I know that I've looked over your website and saw some of your, your blog articles. And I kind of wanted
Starting point is 00:10:18 to just ask you, and so everybody can kind of learn about, you say that certain foods build a man's performance and stamina. Absolutely. So how does eating the right foods help the overall sexual health of a man? Great question, because we live in a very artificial world. When you go into the grocery store, that one hour with all that live produce, that is all man food. Everything else in that store is not. And so it's really that simple. So we live in a very artificial world. And so, you know, one of the things I point out to people is that we are basically water bags. And so, you know, it was a good 50 to 60% of our body's water. And so we're constantly putting dry things in there you know everything from potato chips to pizza to even meat you know it
Starting point is 00:11:14 may be juicy but it's still dry to your body and those things uh rob us of a lot of energy and when you think of sexual performance especially for men and women but for men it's all about energy so you know when you're um giving life you know with giving sperm that's energy in order to have an erection, that's a show of energy. So your entire body has to be full of energy. And what you eat needs to have energy. So if you're eating something that's live, an apple, even if you have to cook it for like cauliflower or broccoli or something like that, you're still absorbing the energy, the protein that is formed in the plants from the sun and the synthesis, etc etc all the good science behind that um you end up with energy you put energy inside of your
Starting point is 00:12:07 body your body creates more energy so that list that you're uh taking a look at um everything on there is basically plant-based um and you know uh for a lot of people in that i'm not a a hater of people who like eating meat because i used to eat 200 animals a month um wow pretty pretty easy to do that nowadays um you know i've reduced that drastically um but what i tell guys is that it's just like lung cancer if you it's not a good idea to smoke if you have lung cancer if you have problems with your erections a lot of time a lot of the time uh is because we are consuming meat and basically an over consumption of meat um no time in human history where humans able to eat meat at every meal so i totally agree i'm not anti-meat but i'm like hey if you have a choice
Starting point is 00:13:05 it's either your chicken or your johnson one or the other you decide yeah well if i were a guy would definitely choose my johnson so i mean i not to preach plant-based either but i have been at least for almost five years now i've eliminated meat entirely and plant you know animal-based foods from my diet just for other reasons but you know you've get you get so many nutrients and vitamins from plants it makes complete sense that you would be filling your body full of energy, like you said. Yes, exactly. And it's, you know, just like with anything, you know, I often talk about how you train for certain things, you need to eat for certain things. So if you're training to be a marathon runner, you train a certain way. If you're
Starting point is 00:13:58 training to be a bodybuilder or powerlifter, you train a certain way. If you're eating for your sexual health, you have to eat a certain way. And, you know, there's certain foods that are on that list that just help in certain in particular ways now uh there are 250 000 edible plants on this planet and humans consume about a good four percent so yeah so there's a lot out there but in terms of what we have available to us uh especially in the western world um you know we we start with something like beets uh beets is uh helps with uh nitric oxide nitric oxide is very instrumental in having strong erections and so you know encourage guys to go with things like that leafy vegetables basically everything that you've heard that's healthy for
Starting point is 00:14:47 you is actually healthy for you johnson um unfortunately sometimes people will say oh you need to eat salmon and eggs and things like this the issue is just that once um the meats get into your bloodstream they actually sort of cloud up your blood and uh overnight overnight men are supposed to have a good four to five erections that fifth erection um is typically called morning wood um but the four erections for it were the five erections um they you know if you're eating consuming meat the duration and the uh volume um of those erections are lower if you're eating meat if you're eating plant-based they're higher and so obviously that translates translates in what happens for the rest of the day it was amazing i love this and i think
Starting point is 00:15:38 definitely the audience here will love it because uh you know i deal with my clientele is mostly men but we do have men and women on here and i think women will also take this you know oh honey this is what you need to be doing oh yeah oh yeah yeah i call it the sorry go ahead go ahead i was just Real quick, I was just saying, I call it the Valentine's Day syndrome. The Valentine's Day is probably the worst holiday for men who have issues because we're talking about, one, you have a level of stress. I already know that there's, you know, there's supposed to be a performance and the last few ones haven't been great. So there's a level of stress there and then the stress of like, oh, I need to get her roses and things like that. and you know get the chocolate and you have some of the chocolate yourself already that's a problem
Starting point is 00:16:27 because sugar lowers your testosterone um then you get the meal you know you get your steak and lobster and potatoes so you have two meats clouding your uh founding your system and the potatoes that's some more sugar um and of course you have the dessert some more sugar and something to drink uh alcohol is a poison that just happens to make us feel woozy so now you have meat sugar poison stress go have sex let's see what happens it's a perfect recipe perfect recipe so within that uh for the ladies and gentlemen um just recognize that what's in that combination right there that you need to pay attention to because we can do that easily you know um eating meat um is easy to do having a drink all of everything is available to us so just be careful yeah i mean
Starting point is 00:17:18 that can obviously happen on any date but you you said the perfect date the valentine's date everything that you know typical americans do right meat the lobster the potato and alcohol and chocolate so yeah that's uh that's such a good analogy for everyone to see like the whole overall picture um but i know that um i know that exercise helps us in so many ways mentally physical for me just in particular just to get through the day like this the cloud lifts you know my mental state and my my ability to focus really comes in to it's heightened and then of course obviously my body feels good so on and so forth but you also talk about this right you teach your clients about exercise and how it helps with their erections what do you actually teach
Starting point is 00:18:11 then uh well there's two uh main focuses that we look at in terms of uh your erections and both of them are based off of testosterone so the bursting and burning of testosterone is what fuels erections uh unfortunately um most men nowadays we have less testosterone than our grandfathers had um testosterone levels have been going going down worldwide and they're going down uh pretty low Now, for the next generation, there's a concern about their testosterone levels. But in terms of what you can do in terms of exercise, if you're lifting heavy, that helps with increasing your testosterone levels. And if you're doing high intensity interval training, that also helps. And for those who don't know, high intensity interval training is basically taking a very short period of time to work out and then a shorter period of rest.
Starting point is 00:19:08 Well, it depends on how you do it. For example, when I do it, I'll exercise for a good 30 seconds and then take a 10 second break and then 30 seconds again, 10 second break. And I'll do like, you know, I'm up to like 30, 40, 50 rounds of doing that. um but you know we're talking about anything from jumping jacks to push-ups to sit-ups to i mean as many exercises are as there's available you can fit that into that uh that timing window and that just helps uh your body in terms of um producing that testosterone one of the things we tell guys to be wary of not saying don't do it just be aware of it effect its effects on your body is a constant state cardio um and just basically just getting on a bike and just riding straight on that if you're riding outside i have no problem with that if you're sitting on a stationary bike and you're just going for an hour uh that actually wears your body down um and
Starting point is 00:20:05 and in terms of uh whenever you're exercising your body is putting out cortisol and cortisol is uh the the enemy of testosterone so you know you don't want to overdo it especially as you get older, you want to be very careful with your exercise level so that your body doesn't get taxed and it can repair itself while you sleep. Such good information. I really, really love this. I'm learning so much. So you said in the beginning of that beautiful thing that you just talked about was how why are do you know or have we or has there been research about why men have less testosterone now than their grandfathers oh yeah uh it's lifestyle a huge amount of his lifestyle so um you think about just 100 years ago uh 100 years ago half of the
Starting point is 00:21:06 united states did not have electricity so things like what we're doing right now would be impossible no internet no uh very few people have phones very few you know light poles outside and everything like that so one thing that happened immediately was that people slept more so you know it gets dark outside unless you have a whole bunch of kerosene uh we're talking about the 1800s or some oil or whale oil going further and further back unless you had a lot of that it got dark, time to go to sleep. This is so significant that if you go further back in our history, roughly 1600, you look at, they had Bible verses for what's called second sleep. So people would basically go to sleep roughly around six, seven, eight o'clock, wake up around
Starting point is 00:21:55 12 o'clock, be awake for about an hour, maybe two, then go back to sleep. This is so common, is called those there were bible verses written for that there were things that were you know people would wake up have sex have you know read a book do something and then go back to sleep so it's almost unheard of right now but your testosterone builds while you're asleep so if you're getting less sleep then you have you know less of that uh sitting around all day sitting around inside clothes that don't allow your body to be exposed to the sun. With just being exposed to the sun, vitamin D is formed while you're in the sun. And vitamin D is not called a vitamin, but it's a hormone. It's a precursor to testosterone. So if you're not out
Starting point is 00:22:43 in the sun, then you get less testosterone. What else? Obviously, once again, the amount of meat that we're consuming, the artificial foods, the potato chips, things like that, things that are just very new. Technology, you know, just sitting in front of a screen all day looking at the same thing, obviously unheard of. Just walking. You know, most people, the longest walk they have is to their car. So, you know, and when you're walking, that increases your, you know, your burning fat. I mean, obviously, we have the obesity issue. That was very rare, going back several years. And also, in terms of what we eat, you know, obviously, diabetes, hypertension, high blood pressure, all that affects your erections. And
Starting point is 00:23:37 when we're talking about meat, that used to be those diseases used to be diseases of the rich. Now there are diseases of 12 year olds. So when I say we're in an artificial environment, that is very not conducive, unconducive to men in our testosterone. Oh, I haven't even gotten to the chemicals that are everywhere. You know, things like plastics, et cetera, et cetera. And even access to cow's milk. That was like a rarity. now it's a daily ritual for a lot of kids growing up and uh you know there's a lot of your testosterone goes down after consuming milk so a lot of things that we think and think in terms of it being normal is abnormal and so not only do we have testosterone levels going down we have a lot of men who are becoming um uh infertile they won't be able to have children and we have
Starting point is 00:24:41 a lot of men you know testosterone is what drives men to want to have sex so we now have a lot more young men who are involuntarily staying out of the sexual mating market you know it's easier to stay home and just play video games and you know eat those potato chips and stay on the downward cycle than to actually it takes work now to actually be healthy so crazy that i mean i was just thinking of that too how you know i teach men i build confidence through their image and their dating so that they can be successful um and i and i thought about this just right before we jumped on this call and i was thinking how how much that hinders a guy to want to go out and date Right. Because if he's not feeling like, first of all, he doesn't have the energy or maybe he has a little bit of energy and he has the want to maybe get laid or, you know, have the interest of getting in at some point into a sexual relationship with another woman.
Starting point is 00:25:53 and he can't he doesn't know if he can perform he doesn't know if he can keep an erection um that's got to be just a huge just like that i mean i feel that that's so much of a man's identity oh absolutely his confidence and his yeah i see why they'd rather sit home and like you said you know continue to play video games or watch movies or just whatever there's there's no drive mentally physically and obviously sexually absolutely and you know there are a lot of things in society um that are sort of reigning guys back in terms of like you know we talk about toxic masculinity and things like that it's like well i can't approach her from a social standpoint there's going to be issues from a physical standpoint after i do get the nerve up and go
Starting point is 00:26:45 over and talk to her and then you know the possible embarrassment of not being able to perform and you know just certain things if we get from the physical side we start talking about the emotional side of things um you know there's certain things that techniques that guys need to know about um for example there is um spectatoring so spectatoring is when you uh you've had some uh sexual incidences incidences uh sexual situations where you didn't perform well and so you're now nervous about it and so you know before you performed well this is for like typical the average guy he's about good 30 or something like that then things start changing he's not sure what's going on so he has a bad performance and then it's like
Starting point is 00:27:33 well okay um well the next time she comes over uh i should be soon she comes through i should be ready for her right you know so she's she comes in she's looking good you know you're doing your things and then you know it's uh you're supposed to he's now thinking well you know she she kissed me i should have an erection she was taking her clothes off i should have an erection and you know i'm just completely focused in on having an erection because he's nervous about it not being there unfortunately the issue is that that cortisol is kicking in that stress hormone is kicking in and it is kicking the testosterone down yeah so so now you're just on the downward spiral and for a lot of guys once they understand what spectatoring is that can help with the issue
Starting point is 00:28:19 uh immediately a lot of times is um um you know just understanding your stress levels your triggers um and you know especially working with the woman in terms of making sure she understands it's like hey if you know before you come over if you're you know the guy just needs to be on stress needs to leave. That's the main thing. And so whatever she can do and he can do to alleviate that stress would be great. And one big thing is that foreplay is for men. A lot of times we think of guys just rushing in, but it's like, especially in today's environment, if you think about it, let's use myself as an example quick story um i went from university of maryland to uh working at at&t um actually had a job in between but yeah let's just use at&t so we went from i went from a campus
Starting point is 00:29:19 full of women you know everyone's having conversations about who's who's connecting who's hooking up who's going out etc etc wonderful situation and then you go out into the work world where everything's buttoned down everyone has a suit on nothing you know too uh sexual and the conversations are now about you know your kids soccer team yeah 401k and things like that and so now you've gone from um something where you have an environment that excites you to an environment that uh you know it is putting you to sleep so you know you don't have any stimulation going on uh during the day and so that translates into you know you get home and if you're married you get home and if you just had stress all day long you didn't have any stimulation you have stress you
Starting point is 00:30:12 fight in traffic you get home you see her next day same thing you see her next day same thing you see her and you start equating stress with the person that you see and so that's another angle that can be problematic and just one thing one other thing this is um in the realm in between uh where the uh the brain and the body uh can be uh discombobulated if you will and that is porn yeah so what happens with porn on a biochemical level is that you know you're seeing something just like when whenever a man sees anything that's uh attractive to him you know you get flooded with your brain gets flooded with dopamine um if you're doing that with a person there are other chemicals that kick in because you have touch you have you know the other senses um are
Starting point is 00:31:03 engaged when you are looking at porn you got you know get the auditory you got to you know your vision you're looking at it but what ends up happening is that you can look at it for a much longer time without getting the stimulation the touch etc etc so uh your brain will be flooded with dopamine for long longer periods of time uh when you're with a person it's on off on off with when you're just looking at porn it's just like you know you can switch from one scene to another to another to another to another so your brain is constantly dumping dopamine the dopamine receptors are supposed to pick this dopamine up and those receptors after a while like look look you've been going i'm done i'm tired i don't want to soak up any more dopamine so i'm gonna turn this off i'm
Starting point is 00:31:49 just turn the receptors off and so when you get to in the situation with a real person the same thing fires off the dopamine is going to go going going going and the receptors are like yeah i'm good i'm good i told you i'm good all right she's here whatever whoop-dee-doo you've been looking at porn for like the last you know over the last eight days it's been a good seven hours so um i'm worn out um no we're good and so you end up in a situation where the guy is uh you know he wants to perform he's been thinking about sex all week he's been sort of in his mind having sex all week and now it the uh the performance isn't there you know the erections isn't there and i've talked to other you know i've been on other podcasts and talked to other guys about this particular issue
Starting point is 00:32:36 and uh one guy um he was saying how he was looking at porn and it just it just he couldn't connect with his wife anymore and it wasn't until he stopped looking at porn and was intentional and saying okay i want to be with her um and save you know not my i forgot how he was saying it but basically cheating on her with porn he was like okay i'm gonna stop doing that and he was saying it was you know it took a period of time i think he was saying it was about a week week and a half um maybe longer before it just it kicked in and what kicked in and i know some guys who may relate to this is that you know why you're having sex you're thinking of you end up thinking of other scenes because you need much more to get more stimulated chris rock talked about this in his
Starting point is 00:33:27 in a comedy special where it's like you just you gotta you gotta see more first it was like one woman i need two maybe three and how about this and how about that you know never tried hanging from a chandelier let's try that i remember that delivery is amazing exactly so it's it's but in in the real world i mean it wasn't real for him but um for other guys it's the exact same thing so you know once you get away from looking at porn once you connect with her again it's just you too and you know when we say intimate that's what that's you're into your mate so more into it you know that's the one time in life where you should really be in the moment yes agreed you know and if you have uh this uh this this video or concoction of several dozen videos running in
Starting point is 00:34:25 back your mind that aren't real your your brain is not computing at all and the um the most important thing is to recognize that um over a period of time this could be uh end up being a lot more serious in terms of your ability to uh connect with the person you know it could get to a point where you you it becomes increasingly more difficult so because you're rewiring your brain so it's important for guys to uh recognize you know if you want to uh have better sex uh be more in the moment with her you have to turn off the porn so do you feel that at some point say in a marriage relationship you know and you've been in it for a while and you want to have porn to spice up your sex life i mean is there a small amount that's okay or do you just say just not at all
Starting point is 00:35:20 um oh yeah it's a tool it's definitely a tool just like any other tool um but you know a tool can be a hammer could be used to uh uh you know build a build a building or or uh jam up your finger so you have to be very careful how you use a tool um so yeah so i mean if a person you know you haven't been seeing porn and then you know you want to use porn to spice things up i mean sure i mean um before uh it was always this thing of like hey go find something find something kinky that you want to you know look at and we'll look at it together and you know uh you can explore each other's uh fantasies yeah exactly yeah um so so yeah yeah yeah that i think that's a a great way uh to use it if you're using it with a person there then cool because you know in a very weird
Starting point is 00:36:13 way you think about it now in our uh in history uh the way that we perform even perform sex now is different because people it was a lot more open um i'm not talking about victorian area era but i'm talking about in terms of like people were like well yeah if you're sleeping in the same bedroom people didn't live as isolated as we as we do now so it's sort of hard to imagine like yeah we're in the same room all the time that's how we live so how do you think the children came about exactly yeah it's true i mean wow you just made some great points and obviously we know today the world is toxic and different and the environment that we live in like you said the artificial environment plays such a huge factor and yeah it's just noticing this those
Starting point is 00:37:08 things and what you can do in this environment that we have in today's society it's not changing i don't imagine anytime soon um but what you can do to create healthy you know erections and performance yeah and that's what that um ecs25 is so let me just uh yeah what is that so it's acronym for ESEIS, energy, sleep, exercise, intermittent fasting, and soul. And these five categories, it doesn't matter if you're a human 2,000 years ago or 400 years from now, as a human, these five categories cover what needs to happen, what you need to pay attention to. And so what we did was take these categories and created a game out of it. So basically, you score yourself with a five or zero depends on what you do during a day. So as easy as 25, if you hit all five areas,
Starting point is 00:38:09 you get five in each area, get a 25. That means you'll have exponential energy. You will heal your body exponentially faster than if you missed out. So for example, with energy, we were talking about consumption of meat and it's like you're eating meat at every meal. You want to get better at that. You know, we tell people to walk away from crazy. Don't run because crazy will chase you. So you want to cut down to one meal that you don't have meat in. And that's what you set yourself. That's your goal for the day. You do that. You score yourself a five sleep. You know, you're only getting a good five hours of sleep, which is very bad for your system, for your testosterone your um immune system is being compromised and cancer cells are being formed
Starting point is 00:38:56 so uh instead of getting five hours of sleep you uh commit to getting six hours of sleep okay and you want to move up you keep moving up to eight you know but uh you want to get to that then okay that's your goal you do that you get a five um exercise uh you know you can just schedule your exercise out one of the things i'll point out those like a lot of times we say um you know people should work out three times a week for about an hour that is less than two percent of your time so you need to pay attention to exactly how much you're moving when we say exercise a lot of times we say you know being stressed it's like just walk do something um but yeah so you you know you're doing something in that category so okay you wanted to uh you know
Starting point is 00:39:45 you can go to the gym so okay you you're doing that whether it's your day on or your day off You just have a schedule. But as long as you're doing what you're supposed to do, you get your five intermittent fasting for those people who are not aware that's not eating basically for a good 16 hours out of the day. And then you have an eight hour feeding window. That's normal schedule is different ones. But if you do that, then you get a five. And also with your soul, you know, we talk about meditating a lot. also getting your stress list a list out of the things that are just stressful in your life and going down and knocking those things down so you don't have to think about them it's not sitting in the back of your head so doing that combination looking for things to improve upon all the time we go with the one percent rule you want to get one percent better every day over a period of time that gets exponentially better and that's the whole goal of this is to get
Starting point is 00:40:43 exponentially more healthy because once again, we have so many things that are incorrect and that we're doing the faster you're able to pile on these five things, the faster you're able to heal yourself. And, you know, a lot of times for people, it's not just a question of like understanding that this works because everything I'm talking about is natural. In fact, the first three things on here your mother told you about it's like uh right go out uh eat your fruits and vegetables uh go to sleep on time go outside and play yeah yeah the last two the intermittent fasting and soul you were too young for that um but yeah we put them all together and you if you're doing these basic things all natural things then it's going to help you if you're
Starting point is 00:41:30 taking a supplement like goodwood um and it's just going to help you in your life period um You know, because one of the things is that you need to be able to, you know, not just taking a supplement, but other food. You know, you're eating anyway, so you might as well eat the things that are helping you. And if you're having all these other modalities in place, then you're going to get better quickly. I love it. That's amazing. it's such a good platform to have and it really breaks everything down for these guys because i think they need a they need a black and white plan like how do i get from point a to point b
Starting point is 00:42:13 just tell me how i do how i do it and i'll get it done yes um so with that when you say when you add the goodwood drops with this you know eating healthy sleeping all these other things that we've got going on with the easiest um what would you so what is in the goodwood drops just so we can tell everybody. Sure. Once again, Goodwood is an all-natural liquid men's performance fuel and it is eight different herbs soaked in alcohol, strained through cheesecloth over two weeks, sits for two weeks, and then we extract it out. And the different herbs in there, we have everything from cloves to cinnamon to ginger to yohimbe. They work in conjunction to increase your testosterone and your blood flow uh just in different ways for example ginger is helpful
Starting point is 00:43:08 with digestion so the product gets into your system it starts moving correctly um uh also um cinnamon is a mild aphrodisiac and so you know we have that combination that goes through your your body because it's liquid it can get you know get into your system faster and depending on you depending where you are on the, uh, sexual performance scale. Um, that's a scale of one to 10, 10 means everything works. Think of a, a 21 year old college athlete. Uh, one means you need to go to the, to the hospital, uh, 81 year old man who's hasn't taken care of himself. Well, um, most guys that I deal with are between the five and the seven. They're just, um, unreliable um a seven is unreliable in terms of you know sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't
Starting point is 00:44:01 you're not sure um a six is even more so a five is like it takes a lot of work um to get yourself together so um the higher you are if you're a seven uh this can move you good wood can move you to an eight or nine um and the same thing with a five or a six uh obviously if you're eight nine or 10, then this is just, you know, just icing on the cake. We do have a lot of guys who use it for, um, working out because it increases your stamina, uh, you know, increases your testosterone. Um, so, and so, you know, for guys who are, you know, one, two, three, four, um, I actually have a guy who's a self-proclaimed zero, uh, that we're working with. Um, but yeah, it would take longer for that because your, and this is an important thing.
Starting point is 00:44:54 All of this is that we are a product of our patterns, what we do every day. So 25% of your body is your DNA. The other 75% is your patterns. For example, I've been five foot 10 since I was 17. And I've been 5'10", 170 pounds and 5'10", 285 pounds. My skeletal form didn't change. My eye socket size didn't change, but my weight changed because my patterns were different. So that's the whole goal behind Isis is to track your patterns and correct your patterns so that you can um you know not have is not have any issues yeah and so if you're taking a good wood along with that it'll speed up the entire process i love it i really i like the fact that this is just i love the fact that you teach this overall health because i think there's so many people that
Starting point is 00:45:57 just teach one focus but it's just not one variable in the situation you know you've got so many things going on. And like you said, you're working with a zero right now. I'm imagining, yeah, here's some, you know, good wood drops. That's not going to do it. Right. You've got to implement everything else that you're teaching. And he's a great guy. You know, if, you know, obviously one of those people, if you looked at him, you would have no idea he had an issue. He has one of the things I say, you know, it's a blessing for right now is that he's getting deep into understanding his body, his physical health. So, you know, at some point we're assuming that he's going to be able to recover. But one of the things, and I actually just did a rant on my
Starting point is 00:46:48 YouTube channel. If anyone wants to check out the YouTube channel, it's Brian Ayers 23. But on my YouTube channel, I talk about being very careful with pharmaceuticals. The idea with pharmaceutical drugs is that it's there to repair the issue that you asked it to repair. And whether or not it repairs it, that's a different question. But in terms of what it can do to other parts of your body, that's the concern. So this gentleman was taking, I forget what illness he had and what particular pill he was taking, but he took it. And we went back and we were looking at, you know, when did this first start and what was going on and how did you get, you know, here? And he recognized that he was taking these particular pills
Starting point is 00:47:41 and it messed him up. And so you have, you know, we have a depression pills that are out there that will cause you to lose your erections, which would make you more depressed. I don't understand that one, but it's a problem. And I think what doesn't get people don't get that message that, hey, when you're, especially men, when you're taking something, you have to be very careful that it's not affecting something else. So, you know, it's always funny to me when you listen to the commercials now where they, you know, it used to be really fast. So you take this and now they have to say it, but they say all the side effects, slow and happy. You know, someone's running through the fields. This may cause a bunch of snot to come out of your nose
Starting point is 00:48:28 randomly uh things like right yeah yeah yeah and they actually say that and they do and you know for me it's not that's the extreme it's like what's happening in the middle so you know if you're taking something it's saying like i said you know causing a whole bunch of snot it's like well okay that's that's affecting my my lungs and my nasal cavity and that means that something is trying to get out of my body what is going on so especially if it's going to kill you it's like there's a lot of things going on um so you know for me it's all about you know uh if you get diagnosed with something look for the the healthy actions first um don't just look for the first supplement you can get because you know some people use a supplement as a crutch and it that's
Starting point is 00:49:21 the exact same thing as using pharmaceuticals. It's an ancient Chinese saying that he who takes the doctor's medicines, but does not follow the doctor's advice, waste the doctor's time. So good. Yeah. Yeah. I feel that a lot of these Western medicines are just band-aids, you know, when you go to say a functional doctor or you start looking at the, you know, what's the issue, How can I fix it with eating the right foods, having the right amount of exercise and sleep and so on and so forth. There's so many things that can be solved through that alone. So I totally agree with you.
Starting point is 00:50:04 I think we're so, especially now, I mean, doctors are so easy to just, you know, give you a prescription for something and that's it. They don't really care about where or how to solve the issue more or less. well okay here's this this will make you feel better this will make you bring your blood sugar you know your triglycerides down or whatever but if you just did xyz with natural foods it may work for you and most of the times it does oh yeah i mean you know the human body is remarkable in its ability to overcome things i mean you think about what we actually do to our bodies in terms of just living the western lifestyle it's amazing people are making it as
Starting point is 00:50:49 long as they do. And so, you know, just small things, just walking can make a huge difference in terms of obesity, hypertension, things like that. Getting back to the basics, that's really all ECS 25 is. It's actually really all Goodwood is. I mean, we live in an amazing, an amazing time in terms of the information that we can get and the access that we have to things that our ancestors couldn't possibly do i mean we have uh i live in right outside of washington dc and i've never been through a um uh we i can't even say the word um a food shortage uh there's never been drought i mean i mean obviously there's been droughts but it was like well one the food isn't grown anywhere near where i am um it's being flown in and shipped in and you know
Starting point is 00:51:48 all different ways that we're getting things that are in the grocery store that you know for our ancestors it was like everything was regional yes and seasonal right and seasonal yes very much so and access to you know the different herbs and information about the herbs that are um that are out there so even the goodwood formula would have been extremely difficult to put together just a good 30 years ago wow yeah just because we're talking about you know um herbs that are coming from different parts of the planet that's so cool yeah i mean we get like you said what there's 280 000 different plants in the world 250 but yes 250 close okay 250 000 and yeah you think about you know just going into say even a whole foods and
Starting point is 00:52:37 you know you have a great amount of uh variety but it's not even near of the plants and the herbs that you can get you know maybe in china or you know india or somewhere but but yes the access to be able to find some of these things are incredible you're right we do live in a hugely you know high so much information and hopefully we can use that to better our lives and for men's sex drive and their sexual health so that everybody can be happy, you know, in that situation. Is there anything that I didn't ask you or that we haven't covered
Starting point is 00:53:22 that you would like to tell everybody listening today? I'm constantly researching. So there's the newest, it's one of those things, so, you know, you do this so much. And that's the reason why I do a lot of repeating of some of the things. So the first time you may not get a second time, you may get it because that happens to me. I knew about drinking water. Obviously, a lot of people do. I just didn't realize that I was chronically dehydrated. Yeah. And that's because, you know,
Starting point is 00:53:53 with technology, there was a scale that I got off of Amazon called Withings. It's with I-N-G-S. And it's an electronic scale and it can, you know, help measure bone density, muscle mass, et cetera, et cetera, and also measures your water. And it was like, oh, wow, I am under what I need to be. And so, yeah. And so, you know, I started drinking more water and water affects everything, you know, you know, 50%, over 50% of your body should be water. For men, it should be 60% and for women, 55%. But, you know, we're talking about it affects obviously your skin, your hair uh your bone um your ligaments which are 80 percent water um muscle um and this is a reason for a lot of guys probably know this they've seen guys going into the gym especially
Starting point is 00:54:45 the serious weightlifters and they have like a gallon of water and it's like well what's that all about it's because well as you're working out you're uh becoming dehydrated and your muscles is where the water gets stored a great amount of water gets stored it's like 75 percent of muscle is water so as you're squeezing the muscle and squeezing the water out you replace it so that way you avoid injuries and you know cramps and things like that as well as as you're plumbing up pumping up these muscles the muscles need to uh use energy to stay in their state and be ready to you know take off running etc so they'll start pulling uh uh energy from fat oh wow yeah yeah yeah yeah so once it gets through all the glucose in the blood we'll get to the fat and start
Starting point is 00:55:35 burning fat and that's when you know you get the look drink water yes and it'll help you um down there is also smooth muscle so uh you'll hang plumper yeah it makes total sense yeah it's probably the one thing i drink they ask what's your favorite drink water absolutely it's delicious and it does my body good so you know i think it does that's amazing i love that you're constantly researching because i think especially in your profession and your field that you've always kind of got to be on top of like what's going on how can we better our bodies how can we you know how can i teach men like you said just an overall health for good positive sex. Yeah. And it changes as you get older. So it's that aspect of things. You
Starting point is 00:56:30 get dehydrated faster. You have less high quality sleep. Your muscle mass tends to leave. So if you're aware of all of these things, then you can take the steps to correct them. And I am now healthier at 51 than i was at 34 i love it yeah i feel like it's just i think that's just slowly because uh you know we're more aware of the things that really are going to make us live longer and internally let's age slower than our you know the age we were born with oh yeah i always say that how old you are is the number of times around the sun how what your age is is how you take care of your body. Ah, yes, exactly. I love that you teach this. I just think this is so fascinating and everybody here needs, every man needs this. Okay. So I know that all my female friends are
Starting point is 00:57:30 saying yes, yes, yes. Give Goodwoods a drop, you know, Goodwood drops and do this, eat this 25. Um, so on another quick subject before I, um, let everybody know where to find you, um this is for me and for my show what was your best date and why aha oh you got me um anything that comes to mind what was my best date and why um hmm uh or what was it you can you can just even do that yeah i mean this is sort of weird um it was actually going to mcdonald's and um i was taking a uh what do you call it class um it was basically a dance class but it was dance aerobics type of class okay and the uh you know i was uh started talking to the instructor and she said let's go grab something to eat
Starting point is 00:58:32 and um we actually ended up going to mcdonald's and she paid for it and it was like it just sort of caught me off guard i know it was mcdonald's it was a small thing but you know it was like okay you know uh we ended up dating uh that's cool yeah yeah you know what everybody has their own story and i think what i find from many people and what they bring to the table is like there's some type of connection there and it's usually not this big overall crazy you know date and it's just something that they find that somehow some way there's this connecting yeah yeah very cool i love it um okay so i would love for everybody here to order some goodwood drops uh for their husbands or boyfriends lovers um but where and you know
Starting point is 00:59:27 to have better erections and greater sex with their partners but where can that everybody here find you and what are your platforms? Sure. So, um, go everywhere and type in good, give Goodwood. That's what you want. You want to give Goodwood. Uh, so you can go to give goodwood.com to order online. And, um, if you would like to, you can use the, for your, your audience, um, the, the code GW 15 Goodwood 15 to take 15% off of your order. Starting point is 01:00:31 anywhere from eight to 10 minutes of me just breaking down a subject.
