Hey, sweetie, your mother showed me this Carvana thing for selling the car.
I'm going to give it a try.
Wish me luck.
Me again, I put in the license plate.
It gave me an offer.
Unbelievable.
Okay, I accepted the offer.
They're picking it up Tuesday from the driveway.
I haven't even left my chair.
It's done.
The car is gone.
I'm holding a check.
Anyway, Carvana, give it a whirl.
Love you.
So good, you'll want to leave a voicemail about it.
Sell your car today on...
Carvana.
Pick up fees may apply.

Lindsay Dale Hubbard
Welcome to More Life
I'm gonna like terrorize you right now
I'm gonna see how far I can push the limits
and get away with it
So it was after we broke up the first time
And after the OTPHJ
I think it was so necessary
To have that closure
Obviously we are in this weird world together
We are bonded through shared experience
I said my goal for the reunion
is to get Lindsay to unblock me
if possible
Yeah, I was like, oh, wait, I need to unblock Carl for this.
I might not even follow.
Did I follow you?
No, you don't.
Oh, no.
Everyone thinks they get rid of me, but you just can't.
Shit, this has been the greatest episode of More Life of all time.
No shade to my other guests.
This special episode of More Life is proudly brought to you by Pura.
Hey guys, I'm Carl Radke and welcome to More Life on today's episode.
I actually didn't think this was going to be possible.
And I'm flattered and honored that I have Lindsay.
Dale Hubbard coming into More Life today. Yes, Lindsay Dale Hubbard is coming in. I am just so lucky
that she wanted to come in and she's ready to talk. We're going to have an incredible conversation.
You might know her from Summer House. You might recognize her also from In the City, but we have a long
history as friends and I'm excited to jump into this conversation. We're coming live today here at
Soft Bar in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Lindsay Dale Hubbard, welcome to More Life. Oh my God. She is in the
building. Thanks for being here.
loving this soft coffee drink that I'm drinking. I'll be hard by the end of this.
You will be hard. It's nothing but the best for you. But it got me thinking, this is random,
but you had a cur egg and then one of your best girlfriends, Danya, which I got a shout out.
We love Danya. Yeah, we love Danya. Danya's the best. She was like, Carl, you got to get an espresso.
And I feel like you're still an espresso person. I am. I still have our machine.
I still have all the little pod holder.
A little organizer.
Yeah.
Thank you for that.
So is the espresso better than what you have here or is ours better than that?
No, yours is definitely better.
Like I love my espresso machine.
I make an ice latte for myself every morning.
But no, this is great.
I don't know.
What kind of coffee do you?
We partnered with a coffee company up in upstate New York.
So we're the only business here locally that serves them.
Yeah.
Because I wanted to be different.
Like every, you know, like the other companies are like La Cologne or
DeVosio or Stump Town. We are the only ones that serve the kind of coffee here. But it comes from
upstate New York and it's like really like not hippie, but like they're like psychos about their coffee.
We love a hipster coffee. It's called touchy coffee. So my house in Nashville is close to East Nashville,
which is kind of like the hipster Brooklyn of Nashville. And so I have hippie coffee all the time.
I saw some pictures of your house. I feel like it's really cool. Not girls stalking me.
slightly. That was the only account that didn't block me.
Yeah, I noticed that you tagged. You like couldn't tag me so you tagged HUBHouse Nashville.
Actually, like, that was like a couple months ago and I thought it was really cute.
Well, I didn't want to be that person that doesn't tag or leave someone out.
And I understand why I was blocked. But I was like, I got to like show love a little bit or just give a little bit of shine.
Also, like you are to credit. You're the one when I started Hubhouse, Cesar,
season one, you exclusively would only call me Hubhouse because you were like, I need to promote
Lindsay. She just started a company. And like now I'm only going to call her by her company name.
So thank you. Shout out to Hubhouse PR. Hubhouse PR. Hubhouse Nashville.
It came from you have the Hubbard House, which was a family owned bed and breakfast.
Like bed and breakfast in North Carolina. Which was kind of what you inspired that name, which I thought
was really cool to kind of keep the history and the family. Oh my God. You know, sitting down with
you right now. It's like we really do know a lot about each other. I know a lot about you. But I was,
we were talking before we got started. And Lindsay's like, are you nervous? And I was like a little bit.
Like good nerves. You know, I was excited that you wanted to come in. Lindsay actually reached out to me
about doing this. And I had been thinking about it for maybe about two months. And my team had asked me
and then you kind of already got to it. So it just worked out. We were ready. We were excited.
But I'm serious. Thank you for coming in.
Yeah, of course. Thanks for having me.
So I asked this question of all my guests when they come in.
Okay.
You were there that night at the dinner that I was a disaster and saying, more life and quoting,
your asparagus is...
Which night?
Season two.
Okay.
When I came into the house.
I'm like, there was a few nights like that back in the day.
Let me clarify.
Season two, the first dinner, I had been drinking since the night before.
I made a meat drive.
I walked into the house.
I was already blackout.
And then we'd sit at dinner and I was like, more life and kind of, yeah.
yelling at Kyle, yelling at Lauren, causing a stir, and then I stormed away from the dinner.
But that more life saying is kind of stuck with me, which is why I've named my podcast that.
Right.
Is there something that you say a lot or a phrase or saying that, I mean, I think I know what it is.
Oh, really?
Maybe.
Yeah, maybe you know me a little bit better than myself at this point.
Is there like something you've been saying a lot recently?
Recently, I mean, it changes as we go through our journey in life and like, you know, every day is a new day in my world.
But I think when I stopped putting pressure on the universe and let things just sort themselves out, like it just became better for me.
I guess it's not exactly a saying, but I just let happen.
Like trust in the universe.
Yep.
I guess would be my thing and not force it because when you force it, it typically does not work out.
Probably pretty true.
Yeah, what was your thing that you thought?
Well, I was thinking like, it's a fun one.
It's like, you got smoked out.
Where did that come from?
I have no idea.
Like, why do I think I'm in the mafia?
That was really good.
All of a sudden.
And also, like, was it in a movie?
Like, who?
And I asked friends this.
I was like, where did I get this from?
And they were like, I think you made it up.
I was thinking you maybe heard it on like a hostage movie.
Yeah, like you got smoked out.
You got to, like, smoke the bad guys out to get them out of the hostage situation or something.
I feel like you heard it on, like, a news broadcast or something.
I don't know why I turned, like, full, like, mob wife at that reunion.
But I just, like, in my head, like, yeah, when you smoke someone out.
But it was honestly one of the best analogies for the situation because basically they were smoked out.
Well, yeah.
Like, the pressure was too high.
Yeah, there was so much internet and online pressure.
Like, there was at that point, like, by the time they announced, like,
We had been through three rounds of rumors over like a month period.
And they couldn't hide anymore.
It's like, yeah, you got smoked out by all the rumors.
So you might as well come clean.
I fucking love it.
I'm so glad you're back at softball right now.
Me too.
The last time I was here was your opening.
Did you see your teddy bear downstairs?
Oh, the soft bear?
I didn't.
I think people have been concerned when they don't see it.
Well, so I will say when we had it up the day you gave it to us and I put it up there.
It was up for a period of time.
And then during the winter we took it down, put him in.
Hybernation.
The soft bear went into hibernation.
The soft bear had to go sleep for a couple months.
And then we brought him back out and not like starting in the spring.
Okay.
But yeah.
Out of hibernation.
He's out of hibernation.
Did you ever think that bear would maybe have this much?
No, I mean, it was like in my phase of life where I was just like still kind of giving you
these little like joking jabs. Keep them coming. I love the jabs. Okay, well, I will say when you're
jabbing, it means, like, I feel like that's our friendship was the playfulness and being silly and
not being afraid to kind of make fun of each other. Right. And that was still at a point in time
before we had had a conversation, like a final. Like an adult conversation that was probably
like a closing closure conversation. And so I didn't know what else to do besides just like,
give little jabs here and there.
And I love, even still now, like you still crack up at me.
And I'm just like, good.
He understands I'm joking.
Like, it's not really that crazy.
No, I know.
I can tell.
We've said this already.
I know you pretty well.
I know you really well.
But you're very funny.
And I always thought that.
So I enjoy when you're firing at all cylinders.
And even last summer, there was moments where I was laughing at the same things you were.
And I was, it brought a lot of joy to me just because I'm like,
that's where I want to get back to.
It's like this friendliness and just light and easy.
Totally.
And I feel like we are, we're kind of back.
We're so back.
And I do also.
You hear it.
Yes.
Yes.
Fuck yes.
Everyone heard?
We're so back.
But at the same time, I think like we had to go on the journey that we did.
I also think that this scandal within our cast, without having like a full conversation
between you, me, and Kyle, we almost instinctively banded together to, like, protect our house.
Yeah.
You know, like, no one, no one's going to burn our house down except for us.
Except for us, exactly.
So, like, I think that was, like, a big part in, like, you know, us, you know, the Uber
eats, the talking more.
And, like, you, me and Kyle just, like, playing Red Rover with the world of, like, this
is our fucking house and you're not going to burn it down. Yeah, you reminded me of a scene from
home alone where he's like, this is my house and I have to protect it. He's like six years old.
I was probably like that at six too. You definitely were, which I want to get into. Actually,
that's a good segue. Okay. Well, hold on. I have one question for you. How does it feel being back
at soft bar versus when you're here in August last year? I think I can enjoy it a little bit more today
just because it's just us, and I can really, like, look at all the details and pay attention
and experience the, you know, wonderful.
You weren't able to have the cafe drink before.
Right.
Because we were serving the soft cocktails.
But she likes it.
She says it's good.
And Lindsay is a coffee girl.
She knows.
I'm a coffee girl.
She knows your coffee.
Yeah.
You know that moment at the end of the day when you finally walk in the door and you just
want the noise to stop.
That's the feeling Pura is built around.
This episode is brought to you by Pura, the small.
smart home fragrance brand and they just teamed up with Calm, the number one app for sleep and meditation.
To launch something I'm genuinely into, the scents of Calm collection. It's three fragrances
designed to ground your space and quiet your mind. And here's the part that pulled me in. This is the
first time Calm's content has ever been turned into scent. So when you diffuse one of these through
your Pura, you can pull up the matching calm sound right inside the Pura app. Scent and Sound
working together. There's Sleep Story, a lavender and chamomile drift that's basically a
lullaby for your house.
Breath bubble. White tea and cashmere, a clean little reset when your brain's running hot.
And soundscape.
A fresh marine clearing rush for when you need to wake your energy back up.
The pura diffuser itself is app controlled, so you set the intensity, you set the schedule,
and the fragrances are clean and premium.

Guys, summer style is harder than it should be.
And if you're like me,
you still want to look good
without sweating through stiff, heavy clothes.
Some of my guy friends fully give up
and wearing the same gym shorts every single day.
There's no in between.
Or there wasn't until the next sponsor came along.
This episode is sponsored by Bonobos.
And honestly, Bonobos is one of those brands where you put something on and you immediately feel the difference.
It fits right, it feels right, and it works everywhere from the office to your next much-needed getaway.
If you don't know their lore, Bonobos made their name by solving the fit problem in men's pants.
Before them, everything was weirdly boxy or way too tight.
They fixed it.
Guys noticed, and now they've taken that same obsession with fit across the whole line.
tailored workwear, summer polos, shorts, tons of breathable linen, including my go-to,
their linen button down.
Basically, if you need it, they've got it in your perfect fit.
And maybe the best part?
They've got big 30% off sale running right now, their best prices of the year.

How's Gemma doing?
Gemma is incredible. She's a wild woman.
I will say getting to meet her at our friend Nick Barber.
Shout up to Nick and Avon, which they're also expecting.
Avon's your best friend and we love Avon.
She's, but having that birthday party, which wasn't far from here.
Yeah.
But I walk in.
I knew you guys were going to be there, but I didn't know Gemma was going to be there.
And it's funny, I think you had a babysitter with you.
Yeah, my weekend babysitter was there.
I made eyes with her because I had seen her before, but I was like, she wasn't with
Gemma.
She was just by herself.
But then I walked into the party and Gemma kind of walks over and just was terrorizing
the party.
Yeah, she's a very social girl.
Like Gemma, it's almost, I legitimately gave birth to my twin.
No joke.
She is a social butterfly.
she is a little mischievous.
She's a rebel at times.
She even like all weekend long, this was my weekend with Gemma this past weekend.
And like she will look at me and give me this like, I know I'm going to like terrorize you right now.
But I'm going to see how far I can push the limits and get away with it.
And like she'll be like jumping on the couch.
And I'm like, Gemma, like you're going to fall and like bump your head.
But like if you want to do that, you can do that.
Do you talk to her like an adult?
I do.
Yeah.
I literally like just treat her like an adult.
And I think she thinks she's an adult.
Well, she was bombing around the party and making friends.
And she came over to me and was like, it was just really sweet because she's adorable.
She does remind me of you just like she's flirty.
Energy wise.
Yeah.
No, she's such a flirt.
But she's got a lot of facial.
I think I'm going to make a statement.
Of all the people I've ever met that's ever been on Bravo, you have some of the best
facial reactions of anybody.
And I think your daughter also has those facial reactions.
A hundred percent.
You look at her, she's like, and then one second, she's like, no, I, like, joke around
all the time.
My nanny will send me, like, videos throughout the day, like, of her playing at her little
play gym with, you know, a bunch of other kids her age.
And she will, in one moment, she'll, like, be beating a guy up.
And then in the next moment, giving him a hug and a kiss.
And I'm like, whoa, what is happening?
And, like, I'll show my girlfriends.
and they're like, sounds like someone else we know, Lindsay.
I'm like, oh, you're right.
I too.
She's learning from the best.
I too beat up guys and also want to make out with them.
She learns from the best.
Yeah.
One thing we were catching up recently, it was actually last week.
I mean, there's been a lot going on.
And I thought it was really cool.
Like, me, you and Kyle really rallied around each other in the situation.
But we caught up last week or the week before last, and you were telling me about Gemma.
And she was rolling calls, which I think is still one of the funniest things I've ever.
heard. Gemma rolls all morning. So can you explain to our listeners and viewers what this means? Like
Gemma will be, you'll be working around doing stuff in your house. Yeah. So,
Gemma will walk up to you with, there you go. Yeah. So I got her a, like a play phone, like a little
kid's play phone. And obviously, like, she's a very, she pays attention. She watches me all the time.
Yeah. And I'm on the phone. Like, I pace around on the phone. Like, I'm rolling calls. So on her
play phone, I'll be like, ring, ring, ring. I go, Gemma, the phone's for you. And she
picks up her phone and puts it on her shoulder, goes into, like, a room to take her
private call. And she starts speaking gibberish on the phone. I don't know what she's saying,
who she's talking to, but she just has a full-blown phone call, like a fake phone call.
And like just keeps going. And then she'll be like asking for my phone to watch, like,
on my phone, like on Instagram.
She thinks she's an adult.
It's a little crazy that after everything was all set and done with us,
with like, you know, our breakup and the fallout of that,
like I wound up being the first out of our group of friends to have a baby.
Like how did that happen?
I mean, I know how it happened.
Wear condoms.
This is not sponsored by then.
I knew it.
Now that you're a mother, do you look at maybe ways, like just things that you're,
your childhood that like I asked my dad all the time and like I feel like he must have tuned it out
of his memory. Shout out to Brit by the way. Yeah, I was probably a terrorist. And I'm like,
dad, please, was I like this when I was a kid? And they had come recently. They visited. And I think
his like memory started flooding back to him and he was like, yeah, you were definitely like this.
I was, I think, an insane child until I was around like two or two.
were three. And then I was like an angel. Yeah. From what I remember, your dad would say you were like a
really good kid. I was. And then I was the golden child like for forever until I went to college.
Then I was a terrorist again. Well, shout out to you that what's the name of the college magazine?
Oh, campus talk. Campus talk. Lindsay Hubbard made a big debut on a. I mean, I was in like what
t-shirt contest. I was dancing on bars. I was a shock girl. I worked at all the bars. I knew everyone.
But to remind our people listening, you went to the University of Florida.
Yep.
Shout out to the Gators.
Go Gators.
At the time you were in college.
It was the heyday.
They won the football national championship twice.
Basketball, twice.
And I think women.
Volleyball, baseball.
We went to like the whatever the college world series of baseball.
And not only just like sports, obviously University of Florida has always been known for sports,
but it's one of the hardest public universities in Florida to get.
get into. So academics, like, you actually have to be smart. And I got a full scholarship.
Smart girl. Academic scholarship. Well, in the state, and being within the same state,
you had to be even more stand out with your scores and testing and all that. Well, I want to get
into, like, your background, like, where you're from, because I know a lot about you. I've
seen your high school. Oh, my gosh. And I saw where you had your first job. Yep. Shout out to
Win Dixie. Win Dixie. I was a grocery bag girl. So I, you know, had the opportunity to go down to
Florida and see where Lindsay grew up and kind of see all that. I'm just curious, like,
when you picture home, like, what does that look like for you? When I picture home,
I think about the house I grew up in a lot. I mean, I spent- Because your parents where they are,
your dad is down the street from- Yeah, they moved to a smaller house once they retired.
They were like, well, we don't need this like other house that has multiple bedrooms.
All of our kids are growing up. Yeah, not that is that big. It's not that big.
I grew up in like a very comfortable middle-class family.
Like your dad worked really hard.
Your stepmom worked really hard.
Totally.
They were both in like the electrical and distributing industry.
So I grew up like going to like these warehouses and like there's like pipes and wires and light bulbs.
You're an industrial.
Yeah, very industrial.
Similar to the area we're in right now.
Very similar.
Yes.
You can't escape the industrial stuff.
Well do you think of like when you think of Florida too, I mean a lot of us picture beaches and palm trees?
I grew up on a boat fishing with my parents.
And I feel like, you know, this falls into that category of Lindsay being an ROTC.
Like, my happy place is and always will be like at a beach and on a boat.
Like, you know that about me.
I love being on a boat.
You're good at being on a boat.
I get seasick and I can't handle it.
Actually, her family took me out.
I was like, you just brought that memory.
Like, super deep sea fishing.
And we went out for like an hour.
I was overboard.
We were in the keys.
We were in Isla Marada.
It was not good.
It was bad.
I felt really bad for you.
I was like, dad, my dad was like, no.
If he doesn't have his sea legs, we're so hardcore.
And I was like, dad, we have to bring him back in.
Like, he's going to die.
Like, there's nothing else that he can throw up right now.
Meanwhile, I get this, like, weird rash all over my body at the same time.
Like, I don't know what was happening on that trip.
We were definitely falling apart.
You were an active kid.
You played sports.
played every sport known to man.
What would you say is your best sport?
Soccer.
Yeah.
I knew that, but I wanted you to say it out loud.
Yeah, soccer.
I played soccer all the way up until I couldn't because my academics were too rigorous that they were like, you can't.
Can't do all of it.
Yeah.
But, yeah, soccer, I was like center mid.
I mean, obviously growing up in soccer, I played a lot of the different positions.
At one point, I was a goalie when I was a kid.
That's what I was.
And, well, yeah, you're tall. You should be a goalie.
Did you like goalie? I hate it.
No, I hated it. It was too much pressure.
It was a lot of pressure.
And I had a lot of energy I needed to, you know, get out.
I wanted to run around.
And get physical and elbow people and pass the ball around.
Totally. So, yeah, so played soccer my whole life.
Did you play in high school?
I did. I played until, like, junior year.
And then I just couldn't do it because I was working around the clock at Outback, Steakhouse.
But what age did you get your first job?
So I started at Winn-Dixie at 14 years old.
So Winn-Dixie, for those that aren't initiated, is like kind of our, in the Northeast,
it would be like a Wegmans or a Giant Eagle grocery store.
It's a grocery store, right, in Florida.
But we actually drove by the one you worked at.
Yeah.
And I just have this vision of Lindsay at the counter, ringing people up and bagging.
It's just like the cutest, funniest thing.
I don't know why.
Yeah, like this little shrimp blonde girl just taking your groceries out for you.
Do you remember how much you made per hour then?
I don't. I mean, this was, you know, I was 14 and I'm 24 now, so.
Yeah, you're just the baby still.
No, I don't remember, but it was whatever minimum wage was.
Part time at the grocery store while going to school in high school.
Well, I stopped working at when Dixie once I turned 16 and I was able to work at restaurants.
Got it.
Because in Florida, you can't, or at least back in the day, we couldn't work at a restaurant until we were 16 years old.
And so then I got a job at this little Italian restaurant for like a year.
And then I transferred over to Outback Steakhouse.
And I –
Shout out to Outback.
Yeah, I love Outback.
No rules just right.
I mean, the Blumen Onion.
Are you kidding me?
Blumen onion is tremendous.
But yeah, I started working at Outback at 16 because I just – I had to pay all my bills.
Except for, like, my rent.
You know, I didn't have a rent because I lived with my parents.
But I had to pay my phone bill, which I had a next tell.
Beep, beep.
Shout out to nextel.
I had to pay my car payment, my insurance.
I was also trying to save money.
That was like the biggest value that my dad could have given me is like you have to work hard.
And nothing in life is given to you for free, ever.
And I love that you, because that was something I think when I learned more about you,
like we heard this from you.
But then when you go to Florida and you see where you're from, it's the grocery store,
You see like your high school in the world they grew up in and you're like, Lindsay's not a rich kid.
She wasn't handed anything.
Right.
She's worked really, really hard.
But she's also like kind of came from also like a challenging circumstance as well.
And like it wasn't always easy.
Right.
But like that value, you know, your parents instilled in you.
Yeah.
If you want something, you got to go work for it.
If you want to build this, you got to keep doing the right things.
I mean, it's the best life lesson my dad could have ever given me, you know, because what's the saying?
Like if you give a girl fit.
she'll have dinner or something.
If you teach a girl how to fish.
If you teach a girl how to fish, she'll eat for the rest of her life.
Yes.
If you give a girl a fish, she'll just have dinner.
If you teach her how to fish, she'll eat for the rest of their life.
I think that's how it goes.
That's how it goes now.
We'll go fix it at the end.
But yeah, no, it was like, it was legitimately at 14 years old.
My dad was trying to prepare me.
And he was like, hey, Lynn's like, do you want a car when you turn 16?
And I was like, yeah, dad.
I do.
I'm thinking you're going to get a car.
And he was like, cool.
How are you going to pay for it?
And I was like, okay, I guess I'll go get a job.
I could literally see your dad saying this to you.
Yeah.
I could literally back to you into a corner.
You want a car, Lynn?
Yeah, love one.
Well, how do you are going to pay for it?
Oh, shit.
And I was like, okay, I guess I'll get a job.
And that's when I started working at Windexie the next day.
See, but you are a doer, as I used to call Lindsay and some of her best girlfriends,
Lindsay gets shit done.
The get shit done girls.
She's a girl that gets, she executes.
She executes, she will follow and finish a project.
Like, you always are very good at doing shit and getting shit done.
So that sounds very accurate.
Dad tells you.
Some things I've never changed.
Well, I mean, I have this written down, but I mean it.
Like, you are a force to be reckoned with in, like, the best way.
But I've always thought to myself, like, where do you draw that from?
Is it your parents?
Is it, like, family?
Is it someone here in New York?
I do think a lot of it is just, like, family.
morals, values, ethics, having a very strong moral compass from my dad.
I think there is an element.
Obviously, you know I don't talk to my mom.
I am a little unaware and confused about what I get from her.
But I'm just assuming it's all the other stuff, the wild side of me that I don't get from my dad.
I think your dad at one point said to me, like you look a lot like your mom.
Right now, you look like your mom did when she was in her late 20s or 30s.
Like, you look very similar to her.
I actually ask my stepmom, Carolyn, all the time.
I'm like, who do I look more like, my dad or my mom?
And she's like, you're literally split down the middle.
And it's true.
Like, I know, like, I have my dad's, like, feet.
Feet.
I know.
I just know.
I don't know how to do that.
But I have, like, a lot of his, like, facial features.
But then I have my.
mom's bone structure and body, but then I have my mom's like smile. I don't know. It's,
it's really split down the middle. But you draw some strength and like that personality also from
Betty, which shout out to the Hubhouse, bed and breakfast. So can we talk about Betty just for a
second? Yeah. And your grandfather. So Lindsay's grandparents ran and owned a bed and breakfast
and where in North Carolina. Haysville? It's like in the mountains. Middle of nowhere, North Carolina.
Yeah, mountains. And you guys would, you'd go up there and visit and stay. Every Easter.
all the time.
You grew up in hospitality, if you really think about it.
And that's another level of hospitality.
And now here you are.
You have your own Hubhouse bed and breakfast in Nashville.
No, for sure.
Two degree.
Yeah, except for the breakfast part.
You got to order that on your own.
But I got the bed down.
Yeah, no, my grandparents, it was just so fun going to North Carolina,
like spending holidays with them, just knowing the chefs, the servers,
the, you know, everybody back.
house at the Hubbard house in North Carolina.
That ever make you think you'd want to be in that world?
Hospitality world?
I don't think so.
It wasn't, you know, even now I'm like, oh, wow, like Carl's right.
Like in my head, I'm sure you can see me like my...
I see the wheels spinning.
Yeah, the wheels are spinning.
Maybe it was just like a subliminal thing for me.
Like I was just always around it from my grandparents that it just always existed in my life.
Yeah, I mean, I feel like you've always known a lot about like when I first met you,
You were working and representing a lot of New York City's best chefs, restaurants.
Sports bars.
Yeah, you were doing it all.
Like everything.
Restaurants, lounges, club, bars, hotels, you name it.
I represented it between New York and L.A.

Okay, guys, is it just me or does something shift the second it starts getting warmer outside?
I love being outside as much as possible, going on long walks, grabbing coffee at softbar,
or going to one of Kyle Cook's DJ sets.
And every year that shift makes me realize I want a whole new wardrobe to match that energy.
But refreshing everything for spring gets expensive really fast.
That's honestly why I started looking for a better option and ended up joining Fabletics as a VIP,
which completely changed how I shopped for the season.
New VIPs unlock major savings on their first purchase,
so grabbing those fresh go-to spring pieces
doesn't feel like a splurge.
When I signed up as a new VIP,
I got 70 to 80% off everything.
It made it so easy to grab a few new activeware sets
and a few new lounge pieces without overthinking it.
And the quality honestly surprised me.
It feels like premium activeware
you'd expect from higher-end brands.
but without the price tag.
Soft, breathable, built to actually last.
What I love the most is how easy the pieces are to wear all day long.
I can throw on a matching set for a workout.
I can keep it on for running errands for the rest of the day.
It just takes the stress out of getting dressed.
It really is a one-stop shop, everyday sets,
comfy pieces, even scrubs, all in one place.
Also, this is kind of perfect timing.
With Nurses Week coming up,
I found out Fabletics actually has scrubs too, which I didn't even realize at first.
So if you're a health care provider or you have someone in your life who is, they're running a really good offer right now.
New VIPs can get a scrub set for just $15.
Shop now at fabletics.com slash radkey to get 70 to 80% off everything when you sign up as a new VIP.
Take the quick style quiz and be sure to select Radkey when prompted to unlock.
this offer. This is a limited time offer, so don't wait. Again, that's fabletics.com
slash radkey for 70 to 80% off everything as a new VIP. We did just talk about the championships
and stuff, but talk to me about you were also working full time in college. Yeah.
Which not everybody does. A lot of kids just go to school, party, have fun. I had to. I had to pay for
my tuition. I had student loans. I, you know, had to pay for my own books. Like my parents didn't
help me. But that wasn't, you weren't, they didn't pay for my college. I just knew I had to work
my way through college. I, my freshman year, I worked at Victoria's Secret. God, folding all
those panties is a nightmare. How do you fold little pieces of- No, it's insane. I don't know.
We didn't have imagine it done back then to help us out. Well, I'm wondering, Victoria's
Secret should reach back out to you. They should. And do a collab, because maybe you could be folding
panties for a new brand thing. I'll watch that.
It's not Carl with the tan lines.
Yeah, so I worked at Victoria's Secret my freshman year.
Then I started, and I also started working at all the bars.
What was your motivation for working at the bars?
I mean, you can make good money.
Yeah.
But did you meet a lot of people?
Actually, no, wait, I take this back.
Sorry, I transferred from Outback Steakhouse in Stewart, Florida to Outback Steakhouse in Gainesville.
Which is wherever University of Florida is, yes.
Yes.
And I worked there, but they kept me in the To-Go-Go,
room, like the takeaway girl.
And I was like, no, come on.
Like, please, like, make me a server.
I was like, please, I want to be a server.
Like, I've been working here, like, for a while.
But, you know, the Outback Steakhouse in Gainesville is popping.
And they were like, stand in line, you're on the wait list.
And so then I started working at a Mexican restaurant.
I was also working at Victoria's Secret, like, during the day.
And between all my classes, would go to the mall, work at Victoria's Secret,
at night, work at Outback Steakhouse.
And so, yeah, I was like a shot girl at all the bars.
I was, I was a beer tub girl.
Were you pretty popular at Florida, would you say?
Or like a lot of people knew who you were because you worked at the bars and stuff?
Yeah, I, like, was not in a sorority.
I couldn't afford it and also didn't have time.
And I just was because I worked at all the bars that everyone went to.
Like, I knew everyone.
I knew all the frat guys, all the sorority girls, all the athletes.
It's like, and my first bar that I worked at was called the library, which was a coyote ugly style.
So like dancing on the bar and stuff?
A hundred percent.
Did you dance on the bar?
Routines.
Like, yeah, you have a routine.
No, I'm pretty sure I remember one of those routines.
You were like, shimmy, shimmy this.
Shibby, shimmy that.
Do you think the library is still open?
Probably.
But then that's how.
the cover of the campus magazine came about because these like scouts for this magazine came to the library,
saw me dancing on the bar.
And they were like, this is the girl that we need.
You need to post that again on your Instagram.
You post it every so often, I feel like.
Yeah.
And it was between me and this other girl for the cover.
And I was like, no, it's not.
Like straight up.
I was like, it's going to be me.
So you can just tell the other girl, sorry now.
And that was before the photo shoot.
Wow.
It's a great photo.
You should recreate it.
Could you imagine?
Do like a 20 year later.
I mean, I kind of have that hair again.
Well, it's like shorter hair, right?
Yeah, I had short hair.
I had like a little, it was more of a pixie cut, like almost like Dixie Chick style.
Yes.
Now it's more of like a French bob that I have.
But yeah.
The hairstyle you have going on looks great.
Last week at Sierra's DSW event, like that little yellow.
Dress. It was look great.

Okay, so you graduate from Florida. But Florida has a great PR program.
You study PR in Florida, right?
Yep.
My freshman year, first semester, I was a marketing major.
And, like, as I was getting into it, I was like, this is way too much, like, math and science.
For me, like, I...
Math and science and marketing.
Yeah, in marketing.
And I was like, why?
And so after a first semester, I transferred to public relations.
And it was all under the same umbrella of the College of Journalism and Communications.
So there was, like, four different majors.
There's journalism, PR marketing.
It's a great program across the board, right?
Right.
So I transferred over to PR.
And once I started getting into the PR classes,
I realized, like, I was actually good at it.
And I had been already living it.
And this was, you know, like, I was always, like,
the word of mouth, like, girl,
if I discovered something that I liked,
I would tell everyone about it.
So you were influencing even back then.
Yeah.
Came out of the womb as an influencer.
So, okay, you got out of college.
Talk to me about it.
I've heard these stories from you.
I think a lot of girls that come to New York,
they get a job at a cool PR firm.
And, like, it seems cool at first.
Big events and the red carpets and the fashion shows and the PR list.
Yeah, it comes across as very glamorous.
But at the end of the day, it's really hard work.
It's not that glamorous, you know,
when you're working 20 out of 24 hours,
especially like fresh out of college.
Did you know you wanted to come to New York as soon as you graduated or was that like a debate?
Yeah.
So I interned in New York the summer between my junior and senior year.
And because back in the day, like interns didn't make money.
Like we weren't paid.
We were unpaid interns.
And I couldn't afford to live in New York without working at an unpaid internship.
So I went to the Hamptons every single weekend.
Summer of 2007, I worked as a VIP hostess at a club called Star Room.
Shout out to Star Room.
Off Dune Road, I think.
So I was like going to the Hamptons every weekend to go, like, escort like VIPs to their tables.
How are you getting out there?
Jitney?
The train.
No, I couldn't afford the Jitney.
Chittany was too good.
Too nice.
Yeah, the train.
So you were working weekends also interning during the week at a PR firm.
between junior and senior year.
Yeah, between junior and senior year,
which was the summer of 2007.
What did you think of the Hamptons back then?
I mean, I had a great time.
You liked it.
That was crazy.
Yeah.
But after that...
It was different back then.
It was fun.
And that was also kind of like a heyday time period.
And it was right before the, you know, whatever, Wall Street, financial...
Financial, yeah, 2008.
Crisis.
So, yeah.
So then I went back to school and I was like, I got to get out of here.
Like, I'm done with this place.
I need to go back to New York.
And when I graduated a year later in 2008, I didn't even go home.
I sold everything.
I sold my little blue Chevrolet Cavalier.
Chevy Cavalier.
Which I called LeBron, by the way.
Cavalier.
LeBron was on the Cavaliers.
Smart.
It's good stuff.
I love it.
I was like LeBron.
So I sold everything.
And with my suitcases, three days after I graduated.
He flew up here.
Flew up here.
Didn't even go home.
just came straight here.
Wow.
You're just convinced.
Told my parents at my graduation.
I said, so I'm going to New York.
And my dad's like, usually this is something you kind of discuss with your parents.
And I was like, well, I'm an adult and I'm going to make my own decisions.
And this is the decision I'm making.
And I have interviews lined up for PR firms.
I think I had three different interviews.
And I was like, so I'm going.
That's it.
Decision made.
I love it.
Which, you know, I think.
Thinking about it now, how ballsy.
I mean, but that's, you were always.
confident person, but like still, New York City's a crazy place.
I was friends with, like, all the girls that I had interned, like at the PR firm.
So you had some friendships and people you knew you could kind of lean on or kind of connect with
when you first came. So talk to me like Lindsay's now here.
Yeah, Lindsay's in New York.
You're in New York.
You got your, where was your first apartment?
Well, that took a minute because I needed to get land the job first.
Sure.
Well, you can't really get an apartment until you have like a paycheck.
And by the way, that paycheck was $27,000 a year, annual, south.
$27,000.
Annual?
Annual.
That's like a dollar every two weeks.
Correct.
That's nuts.
No, it was.
And you were working your ass off.
Yeah.
Like daytime on your computer on calls.
And then hospitality.
Yeah.
At night.
Yeah.
Red carpets.
And I was also the girl who was so aggressive as a publicist where I was like, well, I'm
going to go entertain this editor and this writer.
And I'm going to bring them to all the restaurants that we represent because I needed
the client to pay for my dinner at $27,000.
You're working at an angle.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You know, you got to.
So how long had you been working for that PR firm when you were like, you know,
maybe there's something in doing my own thing, but that also maybe around the time when
Summerhouse came about.
No.
So this is like back in 2008.
Oh, this is well before.
Way before.
This is like eight years before.
This is just me in New York.
After a year in New York, I moved to L.A.
And I forgot about this.
You left.
I had a whole...
Oh, that's where...
What's her face?
Gibson came in at one point.
Yeah, this is how I met Christina Gibson.
Started working at a different PR firm in L.A.
Okay, so how long had you been in New York, a year?
One year.
It was a very cold year, and I was a Florida girl.
I convinced my, like, best friends from college
that we all needed to move to L.A.
So that took a couple of months to convince them.
Was there a guy out there you wanted to see or just...
Do you know this answer?
No, I don't know.
I wasn't trying to lead the witness.
You're totally leading the witness.
right now.
Sorry.
You got smoked out.
You totally just smoked me out.
I had convinced my girlfriends, my best friends from college, that we were all going
to move to L.A. together.
And we did.
And they followed through.
I followed through.
I was talking to a guy who was, and this is why I think you know this story.
It was Paula Abdul's nephew.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And so when I moved out to L.A.
with my girlfriends.
I was, like, talking to this kid,
and I was with Paula Abdul every day for, like, months to the point where even to this day,
she's like, yeah, Lindsay was almost my niece.
And I was like, no, I wasn't, but like.
We ran into her, and she said that again.
Yeah, she always, like, calls me her niece.
We saw her somewhere a couple years ago.
Forget where, like, MTV Awards or something like that.
Right.
She, like said this.
I'm like, Paula.
Because I thought you were joking.
I was like, there's no way you're...
Oh, no, that's not a joke.
You were dead serious.
And I'm like, wait, you actually were almost?
And you're like, yes.
No, I wasn't almost her niece, but like I had basically...
But that joke was a thing.
I had been with her, like, every day almost like pretty much lived with her because of the guy
I was dating who was her nephew who worked for her.
So you go to L.A.
And then when do you make it back to New York?
I was in L.A. for about three and a half years working at this PR firm...
Is that Shadow?
Shadow was New York.
That's when you came back.
And then I went to...
L.A. worked at Fingerprint, represented all of SBE.
So every single restaurant, lounge, bar, club, hotel.
I was opening something every single month for SBE between 2010.
And SBE had like a heyday.
And that was the day like.
This was Svee's heyday.
It always hit the hayday.
It really was.
And not only doing the PR, like traditional PR, but also like coming up with different marketing strategies.
Like at one point at one of the clubs,
They really wanted to hone in on what we could do on a Monday night.
And I started a beer pong night.
No joke that like went on for years.
Brilliant.
Yeah.
I was like...
Really big ideas and always like we're pitching and coming up with really good things.
So I would think at that point in your career like...
And I'm 23.
Yeah, you were young.
Like, who's this girl coming with all these ideas?
I was 23 running this entire town.
I threw like everyone's birthdays and parties that they wanted to throw.
I can confirm.
Sorry to cut you off.
Yeah.
It just came to mine.
we were the old apartment that you and I had.
Joe Jonas and Sophie lived in the building.
Joe and you rode the elevator and you were like, hey, what's up?
And he's like, you look familiar.
And you're like, yeah, we met before several times.
I've hosted your events.
And like, you were so casual about it.
And I'm like, that's Joe Jonas.
I'm like, what?
And you were so like whatever.
And he almost was nervous because you were like, whatever.
I was like way cash.
I know.
I don't know.
I was never like into like celebrities.
I was never a star fucker.
Like I just...
You never were.
I just didn't.
And I had the opportunity.
I'm sure.
Plenty of times.
Anyone you want to care to share?
No.
I'll save that for my book, Carl.
Please save that for your book.
Which you need to write.
I know.
I'm starting.
Working on it?
Mm-hmm.
You have a great story to tell.
I'm actually excited to read it.
Well, I'm excited.
I'm waiting for you to give me a signed copy of your book.
I got you.
And I want you to fold the paper.
and highlight any parts that you think I should be nervous about.
We can do that.
No, nothing.
I always, I try to be really just respectful.
I heard.
I heard you were very respectful.
I actually had someone come up to me from the media world.
You actually know this person.
And it's not the one person.
I think you think it is.
It's someone else.
Okay.
But you do know this person.
Interesting.
Because I think I know the person you think I think it is.
Yes.
And she, it's a she.
She came over to me and said, I've read a lot of Bravo.
books and you're the first person I've read that didn't throw anybody under the bus but yourself.
I was like, that's what I was going for.
Yeah.
I didn't want to be, it wasn't worth it.
That wasn't the point of the book.
But I do think your book, when you do get that whole thing done, it's going to be great.
Thank you.
Appreciate that.
We got off on a little bit of a tangent.
Pitching.
Sounds about right.
Big ideas.
I want to get into the Uber Eats of it all.
Okay.
In like the current state of our friendship and where we are now in life.
Yes.
Who breeds?
That was your idea.
By the way, I'm going to need to have a potty break soon.
Okay.
You want to do that now?
Yeah.
So you just let me know.
Okay.
It's this coffee.
Yeah, that's fine.
But it's not in like a bad way.
Just number one.
Lindsay said it.
Just number one, guys.
If she has to go to the potty, then that means it's a really good coffee.
Yeah.
All right.
We're going to take a look.
Two second break.
Be honest.
Have you ever left a doctor's appointment feeling like you've got nothing?
They tell you you're fine.
Maybe drink more water, get better sleep.
Then they send you on.
your way. No real data, no real game plan, just a good old pat on the back. One of the most important
things, though, is taking care of your body. And that's why I'm excited about what Superpower is doing.
Superpower sends a licensed professional to your home, or you can pop into a nearby lab. And from one
simple lab test, you get over 100 biomarkers, way more than you usually get, and it unlocks a real
understanding of your body. Their app breaks down your heart, liver, thyroid, hormones, metabolism,
your vitamin and mineral levels, even environmental toxins.
So whether it's disease prevention, fixing that annoying brain fog,
or just optimizing your gym game, it's the most comprehensive system I've seen.
And it doesn't stop at the data.
You get actionable health plan based on results, supplement recommendations,
lifestyle adjustments, even prescription suggestions like peptides you can get right through superpower.
Make this the year you stop guessing about your health.

Head to superpower.com and use code Radkey for $20 off your membership.
That's code Radkey.
And when they ask how you heard about them, do me a favor and tell them more life sent you to support the show.
So the coffee's good, it looks like.
Yeah, coffee's great.
It's almost done.
We were talking about like your PR and pitching and some of your skill, like your inherent pitching skills.
Like you've always had really good ideas.
You've always, like, I'll never forget, like, you just like, you'd like see it happening in your head.
You'd be like, I got it.
And you'd be like, what?
And you'd be out of nowhere.
You'd be like, this is what we're going to do.
Yeah.
No, it still happens to this day.
Where do you think you get that from?
I don't know.
I think I have a mix of like half creative brain, half business brain.
And it works to my advantage.
I do it with producers, with production, with, you know, just, I do.
because my brain literally does not stop.
And I am an extreme multitasker.
But that's probably what you need to stay focused
is having multiple things moving and happening.
Like even my therapist is like,
you're way better when you're like super busy
because otherwise I can't,
I got to like channel my creative energy.
And then also, you know,
the business stuff just kind of like is a necessary.
evil, especially in New York.
Well, you were, so you know, you start your own PR firm.
Season one.
Season one.
But you had a lot of ideas going into season one.
And one of those ideas was, which I don't think you'd get enough credit for, and you
know the answer to this, which is lover boy really would never have happened had it not
been for one of your really good friendships with a girl, Sarah Kilburn.
Yeah.
Shout to Sarah.
And.
Who also wins a University of Florida, by the way.
Florida girl.
We both dated Ryan Lockty at the same time.
Shout out.
Shout out to Lockty.
I know.
Not maybe.
We were like,
we were ops,
me and Sarah Kilbrun in college.
We hated each other
because we were both dating the same guy.
Dating the same guy.
But with Lindsay very,
very wisely and smartly,
because what people don't know
on summer houses,
we had to buy our own groceries.
We had to buy our own alcohol.
I'll never forget the first like production call we did.
And they were like,
you guys are buying your own fresh direct?
And we were all like,
what?
Like, are you kidding me?
You threw like the most fits about it, but it was like true.
Like why are we, what?
What are we doing?
But it makes sense.
The explanation was, no, this is an organic show about a group of friends.
Of course, like you're going to go grocery shopping or decide what's for dinner or what you're going to cook.
Right.
What people like to drink.
But instead of like bitching and moaning, like I did, just that's what I do.
You were like, idea.
Your wheels were already spinning and you thought, well, let's hit up one of my girlfriends who works for an alcohol company.
Yep.
that company, believe it or not, used to, or distributes Boston beer.
Yep.
And also had Fireball, I think.
Twisted tea.
Twisted tea.
And we had another brand.
Well, you also knew the guy, it's Whispering Angel.
Right.
So we had Rose A, twisted tea, and Fireball.
Yeah.
If you watched Season 1 of Summerhouse.
How can we save some money around here?
There goes the business side.
It's like the, again, the creative and the business.
Like, when they merge, it's a force.
But it was so smart to think that way because here we were on a show.
Yeah, we had to buy.
on drinks, but we could give exposure and product placement to these companies.
And then there's the PR that comes out.
But the PR of it all, actually, you didn't know it at the time, but that's what ultimately
led to us going, well, this is like sugary stuff, gives you hangovers, Kyle being like
a nutrition snob and psycho.
Right.
Wanting lighter calorie lower than sugar.
I mean, Kyle was like starting some sort of like fitness bar that you ate.
That's right.
Remember?
Yeah.
He had the fitness app.
Phoenix.
Yes, Phoenix.
Oh my God.
Whatever happened to Phoenix.
No, shout out to Phoenix.
Shout a tear for Phoenix.
Kyle had a nutrition app.
RIP.
It was like you take pictures of your food and it like tells you like how you're
dealing with your daily.
Yeah.
And then we all like taste tested anyways.
But yeah, like I think it was because I was getting us unlimited like twisted teas that
Kyle was like, there's so much sugar and this and you have to hang over.
So he was that's, yeah, I guess.
But shout out Lindsay was the one who really deserves the flowers for some of that early kind of big idea and like going,
we could actually be smart here and like make some actually get cool products but not have to pay for it and save our money.
Kyle gets a lot of credit for things I do. It's fine.
You definitely deserve some flowers for that. But you also deserve some flowers for the current state of some of the brilliant pitching I think you came up with. Uber Eats.
I also can't take like credit for that. Like they approached me very quickly.
they were like, hey, we have this idea.
And my manager texted me, he was like, Uber Eats has this idea and it's with you and Carl.
And they sent me like this rundown with like the synopsis and, you know, what they were looking to do.
And immediately at just, I thought it was so genius.
And I was like shooting this hair commercial that day.
And I was like negotiating.
I was like, Carl, Uber Eats is going to send you an.
email right now, answer it, read it, respond. And I said, I've already approved and we have to
film it tomorrow. Well, I remember getting the text from you and I was, obviously, we don't text a lot,
but I saw it. I was like, oh, what's this about? Look at it. And then it was a storyboard,
cartoonish drawings. And I'm in a blanket on the couch, miserable and sad. Then you're like,
consoling me and offering me a tissue. And I was like, this is interesting. And then you were like,
I approved it. And I'm like, if you're down, I'm down.
But in my head, I was like, maybe she came up with this whole thing.
I didn't.
Yeah.
I would love to take credit because I thought it was great.
Well, thank you for supporting that.
I thought it was among everything that's been going on, obviously it was like a light.
Totally.
Exactly.
And like people needed it.
And that's what I say like, first of all, when like hard work of 10 years of us sharing
our like trauma and drama and like, you know, burying our soul and mind and bodies like.
to entertain the world.
Like, if that is threatened,
like, I will be damned if anyone, like, you know,
tries to, like, threaten my hard work.
And I did try to make that clear at the reunion.
I think you did.
You were...
But, yeah, and it's like people needed, like,
something light and positive to grab onto in that moment.
Because it just was, like, very dark and bleak for a minute.
We were like, oh, no, what's going to happen?
and why did these people make this decision?
And so I think, you know, coming together is like what people needed in that moment.
Yeah, it meant a lot to me because I think even just while sitting on the couch with you,
I was nervous about that.
Like before you arrived, like the Uber Eats team is there?
And I'm like, she's coming over, guys.
I'm like, is she going to like the apartment?
Did you clean a bunch?
Of course.
Well, you're like a very clean guy.
I am a clean person.
You are too.
But I was like, is she going to like not like how it's set up?
They're like on the floor with a toothbrush.
I was nervous to just, I wanted to impress you for some silly reason.
I wanted to make sure you were.
Well, I was impressed.
Your apartment's great.
Thank you.
It's beautiful, stunning.
But sitting on the couch, it reminded me of two other commercials we shot together,
which were a lot of fun.
Yep.
Doing a breed.
It brought a lot of joy to me because I do think we have great chemistry on film like that
or on camera.
We do.
And it brought me back to like how much fun that was.
Yeah.
But it just made me happy because I felt like there was a really good bond in some of those moments.
It brought me back.
No, totally.
And we were like in and out and it was quick.
And, you know, I had to get back home to Gemma.
But otherwise I would have like stayed and gabbed with you.
Well, my favorite part at the end, though, the Uber Eats lady walks up to you.
And she's like, Lindsay, so you're going to post this at seven tonight.
We'll get you the video.
And, you know, you'll add Uber Eats as a collaborator.
And then Carl and you're like, um, you did like a class.
Like, can I add someone that's blocked?
I was like, oh.
Did you know that going into that day that was part of the...
I mean, probably, but I had been so busy with Gemma earlier that morning because I think
we shot it on like a Saturday.
And I just wasn't connecting the dots until the dots were being connected right before
we finished filming that commercial.
And yeah, I was like, oh, wait, I need to unblock Carl for this.
Well, if I could add to this.
So I saw Andy earlier for Watch Rapins Live like three months ago.
Like when our season just had come out, I did Andy.
And I said to him in the green room, I said, my goal for the reunion is to get Lindsay to unblock me if possible.
And he's like, I'll help.
We do the Uber Eats thing.
As soon as you left and they sent us a photo of me and you on the couch, I sent it to Andy.
And I said, nature's healing.
And he wrote back, money will bring anybody together.
I was like, damn you, Andy.
But he wrote something really nice after.
He was like, it's actually really nice to see you guys friendly and it makes me happy seeing the progress.
So I was like, thank you.
But I had to let him know that we no longer need to work.
about unblocking me at the reunion because it's already taken care of.
I might not even follow.
Did I follow you?
No, you don't.
Oh, no.
Let's do it right now.
Okay.
You want me to start?
I'll follow you.
Oh, you don't follow me either.
Well, I was waiting to, like, talk about it.
Lynn's hubs.
There she is.
Okay.
Follow.
Okay.
Carl Radke.
Yes.
Follow.
We're back, baby.
We're so back.
I love it.
Well, it's actually a good side.
segue question. Do you remember like how we became friends initially? I was with Everett.
You were with Everett. We weren't like immediately like besty, besty. We're friendly.
We definitely, I gravitated towards you. Just like, I think that you're. Because that was a jackass.
Well, you were like funny. Like I love funny people. Yeah, I was pretty out out there though.
Yeah. Pretty wild and silly. Yeah. I thought I just like, I had this like gravitation towards you.
and I know like you were with Lauren,
but like I would talk to you about like shit with Everett and...
We used to smoke SIGS.
Lindsay and I, well, I don't want to throw you over the bus here.
Vintage. Vintage Parliament lights.
A good old vintage.
But back in our season one summer house,
we obviously were trying to figure out what the hell's going on half the time.
But also when you wanted a break from camera or not just decompress.
And I used to rip cigarettes.
You would smoke in a cigarette occasionally when we drink.
There was an area off of your room.
It was like a little balcony, but it was not visible to camera.
Right.
So we could go on the balcony.
We found the one spot.
And at the end of the summer, down below was all the butts from the car limits.
I literally went in handpicked.
We had to pick up all the butts.
Yeah.
But yeah, I mean, I'm trying to remember like that first summer, you know, you were with Everett.
You had, you know, that going on.
But I think it was really season two is when we were doing more car rides.
I really feel like the car rides is what brought us so close initially.
It was like you got two hours in the car with someone.
Right.
But we had so many similarities and commonalities.
Totally.
Like the car ride,
I really feel like always like cemented that.
But they don't see that on Bravo all the time.
Right.
Totally.
And they weren't doing go pros back then.
Exactly.
And we,
I think we had like very similar taste in music on the car rides out.
Yep.
Which was like a lot of like 80s rock.
80s.
Classic rock.
Yeah.
Or like some good like pop 80s.
Right.
Like Whitney.
Totally.
Janet, you know.
Exactly.
Is that what, like, your initial?
Like, did you pinpoint when we initially became friends?
I'd be stigarettes and car ride?
That reminds me of that song, Cigarettes on Balcony.
Like, cigarettes on balconies.
What's his name?
Now it's going to bother me if I don't, like, figure this out.
I think you would actually really like this song.
I'm curious.
Hold on.
It's going to come to me, Cigarettes on balcony.
Lindsay followed me, guys.
I'm so happy.
I can't stop thinking about it.
Cigarettes.
Oh, cigarettes on patios.
Cigarettes.
Baby Jake.
Baby Jake.
Interesting.
That's the name of the baby store that I went to for Gemma's gift.
What?
Jake.
It's like baby Jake here in Williamsford.
I'm serious.
Okay, cigarettes on patios by baby Jake.
I have to listen to it.
The cigarettes, for sure.
But then I remember after season two filmed and wrapped, you and I arrived at an okay
magazine party at the same exact time.
Okay, yes.
Okay, all right.
Yes.
I remember this.
Gene Simmons from Kiss and I had the exact same outfit on,
which was really weird.
I'd all black on and he looked like the exact.
Did you take a picture with him?
I did.
And you're in the background.
But I remember thinking.
I wore something nude.
Nude color.
But I remember that event.
You were like a season pro at like a red carpet.
You seemed very comfortable.
I'm like, what is going on?
I'm not supposed to be here.
But you kind of took me on your wing at that event that night at Jane Hotel.
And I just never forget, like, you were like, so confident in this, like, intense kind of event.
It was OK magazine, all these publicists and press and media.
And you were like, you looked like you would been in that room many years.
And you obviously had where I was like, I have no idea what's going on.
Where's the bar?
Let's get drunk.
I can't handle this.
And you kind of held my hand through those early press media days, which I also remember fondly of just what I think kind of bonded us at the beginning.
I think it was just like, obviously,
we are in this weird world together.
Like, it's, we are bonded through shared experience
and having like 0.000,000, 0.01% of us in the whole world
that do this for a living.
And, you know, we were both just trying to figure it out.
Well, I think you kind of lean on, you had to lean on each other
because, like you said, it's like this crazy world,
but no one else can really understand it for the most part.
And at that stage, I mean, our show isn't what it is now,
but, you know, it's still like, by season two and three, like, people recognize this on the streets and, like, things were kind of evolving and happening.
Not on the streets.
Every once in a while.
On these streets.
I'm curious if you have a funniest memory of something from our friendship in the past.
Anything that sticks out or comes to mind.
I mean, I can think of tons of things, but I don't know if you had anything that might.
God, I'd have to, like, really go back.
I would say like back to your car rides like there were times like there was like a birthday
in there where I was like upside down.
I actually thought of this.
In the back feet with like feet on the roof.
You were like dancing to like Whitney Houston.
Yes.
And I'm going to do it for everybody just so they could see what I.
Lindsay was like this in a vehicle SUV fully like inverted.
Yeah.
Doing that the entire car.
car ride. I really was. Well, it's something that comes to mind that I really, and this is, again,
about our friendship, you had a birthday at the house, which your birthday always falls in August
in the summer house. So we would, you know, come up with a party idea. Your season one birthday was
the Ho-down. Ho-down, Hub's Ho-Dow-Down. Hubs-Hodown at Rick's. 30th birthday. At Rick's Craby Cowboy.
Yep.
I brought the two girls from L.A. By season two or three, we were going to dress up like you, or so I thought,
for your birthday party.
Oh, right.
Like a variation of Lindsay.
So I was going to be workout Lindsay.
So I have a friend who has this fitness apparel brand and can basically print.
This was season four.
Okay, season four.
This was after we broke up the first time.
Yes.
Sorry.
And after the OTPHJ.
The OTPHJ, which it happened.
It's facts.
I don't know why we're revising.
I don't either.
It's all on camera of this footage.
It is.
We like all talked about it for like multiple episodes.
But your birthday that one summer, I'll never forget, I had that whole outfit planned and prepared.
And I basically had Lindsay's face, Lindsay working out on my outfit, which was like leggings and like a crop top and a full on like Lindsay workout outfit.
I put it on that morning because we were all like hanging out by the pool.
And I went upstairs and the one producer caught me in my room.
She goes, what are you doing?
I go, I'm dressing up like Lindsay.
She's like, this is hilarious.
Get outside immediately.
We'll get the cameras on you.
And I'll never forget it coming out
and just your reaction and just that funny.
Oh, I loved it.
It was like a really cool.
I think I had like hard eyes again,
even though you had broken up with me.
I was like, oh, God, I can't.
That's actually, because I didn't,
we took like a month off of our friendship
where we weren't super close.
Like I had to recover from.
It was a little whiplash.
The heartbreak of the two weeks that we had dated on season four.
And then like I kind of just like took some space
for the next month, even though we were filming together, we just weren't as close. And then
boom, my birthday hit and you came out dressed as me. And I was like, okay, he's not so bad.
Fine. We can be friends again. Well, I mean, you were certainly on the front lines. I mean,
back in those seasons, I had my ups and downs. I mean, there was some good times. There were some
tough times. You were always someone that really did support me and really show up for me.
I'm curious, like, whether Kyle has said this before, too. Like, you kind of knew the
real me. But maybe the audience or some other folks didn't. Was there things about me back then that
wasn't all bad, hopefully? No, like, no, obviously there was a reason why I was attracted to you
and drawn to you as a friend, as a, you know, romantic partner as well. No, of course, Carl. Like,
you had this ability to be hilarious, but also simultaneously humbling. Like, you were humble. Like, you were
humbled but hilarious. You were like relatable, you know, but also spoke truth. Like you were
just the perfect amount of like a dick, you know, and but at the same time like very, you had a lot
of like gratitude towards your life, you know, at the same time. So yeah, I mean, you, you also
were smart and, you know, are still smart. Um, there, yeah, you have, you had. You, you have. You
have like amazing qualities in a human. And I think like you've just gotten better and better
with time. Can we print that out and like put it on a like a card? All right. All right.
It's like the nicest thing ever. Now I mean we could go on and on about some of those.
I think you and I like hold each other in the same regard. Right. And like although it might not have
looked like that at times, I think there is like a mutual respect. And,
And we also like share a very similar sense of humor and we can understand each other's languages.
And, you know, there, it wasn't always easy.
Like, whether it was us being friends, whether it was, you know, you during your darker times or us in a relationship.
But like we, we still had like a mutual love and respect for each other that I think still holds true.
Definitely.
I mean, yeah, there was, I mean, just so much.
many fun, amazing memories, but also, you know, tough times. And I'll never forget, like,
many moments where you really were, were there for me. And even had to put up with stuff that was
confusing, I'm sure for someone who's like, what's going on, like behaviorally all over the
map. But then, you know, after my brother and you were very incredibly supportive, but you really
rallied around me. And so much so, I was like, hey, I want to move into your apartment building.
No, I used to like, yeah, especially like when you started getting sober, like I would text
I did a lot of like behind the scenes work.
Yeah, you were trying to help.
Like people weren't enticing you or trying to get you to go out and party or, you know, I was like.
Mother Hubbard.
Yeah.
I was, I was like, don't you text.
That was a really difficult time in my life.
And I know we've talked about this a lot, but just wanted to remind you.
It means a lot to me to be able to have someone like that show up for me.
and I don't think I've thanked you enough.
Oh my God.
It's a big reason why I appreciate that.
You know, I don't do it for the credit.
No, I know.
You do it out of love.
But you probably don't get enough credit for some of that.
And it really just meant a lot to me.
So I just wanted to thank you again.
Oh.
I appreciate you.
So sweet.
I want to get into like our friendship now, which I'm loving.
We start following each other.
I know.
Like, holy shit.
This has been the greatest episode of More Life of All Time.
No shades of my other guess.
The relationship we have now and the friendship we have now, it's been really nice.
And I think even just watching back season 10, and obviously it's been very interesting watching back over the last two months.
But the bright spot for me this past summer is watching us in some of the dynamic.
And I know people enjoy watching it too.
But we were at 92 NY a couple months ago, which is an iconic place in New York.
And you were on fire.
You were fucking hilarious.
Like you were, it felt like you and I were the only ones that really showed up there.
But you and I were like ready to go.
Yeah, we're here to work.
And I'll never forget one of our producers came up to me at the end.
She goes, it is so fucking good to see you and Lindsay joking and laughing.
And I forgot also what it meant to the people watching us do that.
It meant a lot to me.
I'm being selfish.
I'm like, this feels good.
But then having her say that, it was like the coolest thing because I forgot about, oh, wait.
Like maybe there is a future of me and Lindsay building a friendship or getting to a place where it's just healthy and way more respectful.
and where we are now,
I don't think I could have believed
that we'd be in this position now.
I couldn't either.
So like what would you attribute?
To be honest with you.
What would you attribute to some of it?
Almost three years later, but we made it.
I would say like I think you and I have done a really good job
at coexisting and continuing to film
and being a house, living together.
But most, I mean, 99% of people that go through
what you and I have gone through
or what I did would never ever.
No.
Never. You just don't talk anymore. Like once you like, you know, wash your hands of it, you're done. It's different for us. Like we film a TV show. We live in a house together. And I think that you and I, although that first summer, you know, afterwards was a little rocky with us. And I just tried to like avoid you as much as possible. And that was, I mean, a very unusual situation. Because remember, the show re-airs. So we broke up at a certain point. And then you now are reliving all of that again. So it's like you. And then we start filming. And it was like, it was like,
three weeks later that was happening.
So like that's not normal at all.
Yeah.
And so I was also pregnant that summer and had, you know,
progressed my life to, you know, just a different journey.
And then I think like that next summer, which was what, last summer?
You know, it was like more baby steps towards just being.
having an easier time, like, you know, in the environment that we live in,
and, like, inching closer to friendship.
Yeah.
Well, a big part of it, I think, was a lot of you being welcoming of something like that.
And also, I think, giving me a chance to talk to you a little bit
or even just have some of these conversations, which just shows, again, your character, I think.
But I think that conversation that we had, Labor Day weekend last year,
even if I didn't even realize at the time,
I think it was so necessary to have that closure.
Like it really, I needed it more than I understood or thought.
Because for the two years since we broke up,
I felt like I had given myself closure.
I had moved on.
I was on a different journey.
I'm now a mom.
Like, you know, I have other things to figure out.
But despite me progressing my life in a day,
different direction and same with you. I still think both of us really needed that deep,
heartfelt conversation with each other. 100%. And even rewatching it was really powerful too.
Because like, you know, in the moment, I mean, I felt like we were talking a long time,
but it was so needed. But then rewatching it, it gave me like so much peace and warmth.
And I'm just really proud of like you gave me me the opportunity to talk and being receptive
of that. And it was a really healthy conversation watching it back too.
Right.
I remembered it being healthy.
I was really proud of both of us in that moment.
I was proud of me just being able to articulate
exactly what I'm trying to say
and you not being defensive
and being able to hear me and listen
and give you the space to listen
and try and not overreact or just take it
and take accountability.
And I think it was important for people to see that
in a couple who's been together in the past
and maybe showing the audience how to do things.
And even Annie, my producer here,
she always says Summerhouse has kind of guided her in some ways
on different things in her life to navigate.
Like watching Paige and Sierra talk about something has helped her in her own personal life.
And I think for us, it's cool to maybe show, you know,
because there's co-parents out there.
There's people that have different dynamics,
but you might have to see these people again.
You might have to work with them again.
I'm in a co-parenting relationship also.
Well, I mean, I've had this.
I film with my ex-Bioncé.
I work with my ex-Biance.
And I have a baby daddy who I, and I talk to everyone all the time.
Well, I mean, you're kind of a, you're paving the way.
Yeah.
Everyone thinks they get rid of me, but you just can't.
Well, I want to talk about the motherhood of it all, which it's really beautiful to see you, you know, being mom and Mother Hubbard, which is brilliantly coined on also Bravo.
Lindsay Hubbard raised me.
Print that.
Oh, my God.
But I'm curious.
Is there been a slight change in you since you become a mom?
100%.
I think you'd be happy to hear.
I'm a lot softer now.
But, you know, it really did take me becoming a mom
and, like, raising a little tiny human being
where you have to be soft.
Like, they don't know any better.
Yeah.
But I always joke around.
And I'm like, yeah, I'll be soft for babies, not for men.
Well, sad.
But, yeah, like, I think I am.
I have gotten a lot softer.
I think that I...
Well, you seem just lighter.
Right.
But also, like, it's, you're happy.
And, like, you found, like, you're not calling, but, like, you've always were meant to be a mother.
Yeah, thank you for saying that.
And being that.
It was my goal.
That was, like, my number one goal in life.
And I hit it.
And, like, I hit that goal.
And I was like, okay.
now I can just chill.
Like I don't have to like put pressure on myself.
You know, as you know, I have eggs on ice in case I ever want to do it again.
Although Gemma is like five kids in one.
So we'll see about that.
But yeah, I think also I do have a lot more patience with just like patients even with myself as a mom.
Sure.
You know, and like a working mom, a single mom.
Like we put a lot of pressure on our.
ourselves of like, okay, I have to work to provide for my, my kid, but I, every time I'm at work,
like, I'm missing time with my child. And then every time you're with your child, you're like,
oh, for the love of God, when is my nanny coming? You know, like, I need a break, you know,
from, and I need to go to work. So it just, you just feel guilty no matter what. And I've learned
how to just be patient with myself through all of it and kind of just go with it.
Yeah.
I might seem more light to you or lighter because I think letting go of control is something
that you pretty much have to do when you become a parent.
You can't control at all.
And like, especially with little tiny humans, you know, you realize like your control is out
the door and you just got to roll with it.
And yeah, I guess the lightness that I have through all of that I think has made me
funnier, I hope. No, you're, I mean, even, listen, some of the relationships that have,
within our cast, I mean, you and Sierra being really close is really amazing to see. I mean,
I'll never forget four or five summers ago. It wasn't like that and even page at times.
Like, it wasn't always easy. But, you know, it's been cool to see some of maybe other relationships
also find a better, deeper meaning now that you're a mother. And I've, like, loved watching the
girls rally around you. And also, I think.
I think they're seeing like their potential future of what they would want as being a mom.
But it's been really cool to watch you kind of paved the way in the summer house.
But also juggling being a mom and showing up like you have.
I mean, last summer, when you came into the house, you fucking brought it.
You were ready.
You were fun.
You were ready to talk.
Ready to be opinionated.
But you had good energy.
You were like such a bright light in our weekend when you did come.
I don't know what we would have done last summer without.
Thank you for saying that.
God, you're so complimentary.
I mean it.
I mean it.
I'm like in this phase right now where I've kind of like reverted back to 20 year old Lindsay.
And I was talking to.
Gainesville, Lindsay?
Not quite that far.
Maybe after college.
Okay.
Post college Lindsay.
Yes.
PCL.
And I was like talking to one of our executives about it the other day.
And I was like, I don't know what it is.
Why do I think?
Like I was like, maybe I'm the toddler.
Maybe I'm the toddler.
I was like, why do I go out and like I'm just so insane right now?
And like the other night was Jesse Solomon's birthday.
And Jesse, I wound up on Jesse's shoulders.
And I was like, Jesse, I called him and then I say, I'm like, how the hell did I wind up on your shoulders?
And he was like, you just told me you were climbing up.
And I was like, what is wrong with me?
Like what?
I'm always in Kyle's DJ booth.
Like, you deserve it.
You're living your best life.
I think because it's like my speeds are work and mom.
And then when I don't have both of those, I'm like, I'm really letting my hair.
down right now. Yeah, well, you're kind of, I've seen a little bit of In the City, which congratulations.
Thank you. It's been awesome to kind of watch the beginning of, because I know everybody there for the
part, and I know seeing Yvonne and Nick and Andrea and Lexi. It's been really cool to see the friends,
but I feel like you're working and being a mom now on in the city. Like, talk to me about juggling.
That was very difficult. I can't imagine me. That was the first time I had to film, um,
with Gemma. Yeah. Right. Um, first time she could even film. And it was,
is the scheduling of it is not just, it's not just myself anymore.
Do they mic up the baby?
No.
Okay.
She's not.
It's a silly question.
She doesn't have a, she's not like getting paid.
She has her own contract.
Well, I pay her.
I pay her out of my own salary just for her participation.
She's got an entertainment lawyer.
I mean, yeah.
Through you, but yes.
That's why she's rolling calls all the time.
But it was really intense.
Like the scheduling aspect of filming with a kid is,
in and of itself a full-time job.
It's not just me.
It's like my schedule, Gemma's schedule,
my baby daddy's schedule, my nanny schedule.
I had to have, you know, babysitters on call
because, God forbid, like they were like,
hey, you know, sending a text at midnight,
you're filming at, you know, this time tomorrow.
And I'm like, what?
Yeah.
We know how it, like, literally, like,
the way our world works, last minute adjustments,
you'll find out.
And it's not the summer house
where you know you're going to like be secluded in a house.
all weekend. This is like, it's all over the place with scheduling. So that was really
difficult. I mean, it's, you know, I'm glad people are, there's like a very positive reception
for Gemma. I mean, she is like the cutest kid on earth. Well, she gave a great, a great stare down at
the grocery store, which I think is making waves. She is my child. She's a star. But filming in the city,
Is it, I mean, pretty special having some of your best girlfriends right there with you?
And I would think, not that the Summer House cast isn't your closest girlfriends, but like, you have like a Vaughn.
You've got Georgina.
No, it was crazy because Yvonne started filming and she was like, wow, you've had this secret life for the last 10 years because people don't understand like what really goes into filming and what is required and, you know, how to do it.
It takes people a while.
It was a different format for me.
So like, you know, we know the Summerhouse way,
which is actually the outlier of how most other Bravo shows go.
Correct.
Now, and the city is more in line with all the other Bravo shows,
but I have to rewire my brain.
So the entire first month of filming, I was like,
I have to rewire my brain.
We have, you know, obviously new producers and, you know,
different crew than we have had for the better part of 10 years on Summerhouse.
And they work differently.
So you're just sort of like...
It was almost like you were on a totally new slate with this whole thing.
I mean, I met one of the producers and I was like,
oh, this is definitely a different show.
Like in a good way.
It was just not summer house.
And it's like a whole, for the most part, outside of me, Kyle and Amanda, like a whole new cast
where they're trying to work out their kinks of how to film.
And like...
Was that hard on you to like kind of...
Because filming with new people can be hard.
It can be fun.
But filming with friends and new people...
Yeah.
I mean, I can't imagine walking into a room being like Nick and Yvonne and that's their first time filming.
Yeah, like, we're best, like we know each other so well, but now we're on camera.
Like, it's kind of a surreal.
Yeah.
Even like Ivana, she's watching it back.
She talks to me all the time.
She's like, I wish I would have, you know, like she gets it now that she's watching it.
And I was like, well, yeah, Yvonne, I was trying to tell you that at the beginning.
And she's like, I totally get it now.
Like eight years later now understands it.
Yeah.
I mean, Yvonne's been through a lot, but not in it like that.
Yeah. Yeah, it's scary. Is our friendship going to survive this? Is this, you know, are there going to be wrenches that are thrown in throughout this process?
There was a little bit of a wrench thrown. I mean, let's be honest, with everything that's gone on over the last two, three months.
And, I mean, I feel like your show has gotten, the ratings were massive that first episode.
Yeah, I haven't even looked at the ratings.
Oh, Kyle said it's the highest rated first episode ever of any Bravo show.
No way.
Now, it was after the Summer House reunion, great.
But, like, still.
Yeah, that's great.
It's huge.
That makes me happy.
Curious, because I know you really well.
I can still hear you pitching, which I want to get into it for a second.
Lindsay has this amazing idea that she's pitched Bravo, which I can't believe it has.
I'm like, which one.
There was the ultimate girls' trip younger edition, which I think you should be on.
And they should do it with you, Sierra, Ariant, or whoever.
Oh, I pitched Andy a couple weeks ago on a different idea.
But then her other idea was like a powder puff football.
Oh my God.
Okay.
Do like a flag football game with the women and the housewives and all the people or the girls from Bravo kids.
Yeah, I think they should time it.
So if BravoCon is like every other year, then they should do like powder puff football.
It should be held around Super Bowl in like February timing.
We get all of like the females like housewives.
You know, all of us girls are the ones, like, tackling each other.
And all the boys are the cheerleaders.
And we can sell tickets.
It can be a live situation.
It can be, that would be great for advertisers.
I think it would be hilarious for...
It's a brilliant idea.
Yeah. Viewers, obviously.
I think we should do it.
But the In the City idea.
I'm sure everybody at this point knows, like, you, me and Kyle have always, like, share.
the same group of friends.
Like, we have always been around, like, each other.
But I feel like you're the straw that stirs that drink.
For sure.
Like, the La Familia.
Tell me more.
The La Familia of it all.
Yeah.
Yeah, the La Familiar.
I mean, this group goes, like...
A lot of history.
A lot of layers.
We're at, like, decades now.
Yeah.
Of friendship.
But a lot of it started with some of your friendships.
I mean, Kyle, for sure.
But then I kind of jumped in and joined, you know,
back in like 2015, 2016, where I did meet you guys, but I was like a slower
integration. You were more peripheral in the beginning.
Totally. But then I got, you know, I got to be closer with Hodges and Nick and Johnny
Rye and some of those guys, Curlew, but also through Kyle. But like, it's just funny watching
in the city because I'm like, this is actually like the most real cast of all time.
Yeah.
Because it's Lindsay and Kyle's real crew. Yeah. So I'm rooting for you guys.
Yeah. Thank you. And I feel like out of the gates it's going really wrong. A lot of people
are very upset that you are not on.
Well, there's always a season two.
There is always a season two.
I guess we'll see what happens this summer.
Well, we're rooting for a season two.
I would love to be a part of it if they want me to.
Yeah.
But we'll see what happens.
We did film here.
Kyle and I've had a moment here.
I don't know if they'll use it because Jesus Christ.
We're coming to a close because I'm realizing we've been talking for almost an hour and 40 minutes.
Oh, can we gossip?
What are we going to gossip?
Let's gossip.
Well, I got one last question for you.
Oh, okay.
And then we can gossip?
Yes.
Okay.
This podcast is called More Life.
So what's giving you more life?
right now. Right now, this amazing
latte coffee drink at soft bar is definitely giving me
more life. You know what? Our friendship is giving me
more life. Like I have really been enjoying
you know, this newfound friendship and I feel like I can
say confidently that
we are friends again. Even at the reunion, it was like,
I was like, no, we're friendly. We're friendly. We're
friendly. We're getting friendlier. We're getting friendlier. But I feel like, you know, even like,
first of all, I think the scandal helped bring us together, the Uber Eats thing. Not even that,
but just like, I literally called you the other night. And at the end of my night, I'm hysterically
crying and upset about crazy shit. Well, you got a lot of, you got a lot of, and I was on the phone
with Carl Radgey crying to him, trying to put Gemma down, trying not to cry in front of Gemma. She's like,
you know, I'm like trying to keep it from her and like talk to you about, you know, what's going on.
And that like meant a lot to me.
Well, I meant a lot to me that you'd reach out to me and I could be there to talk because I know so much about what you are facing at this moment.
You got two TV shows.
Now, I don't know what it's like to be a mom, but you have a daughter.
She's amazing.
But a lot of energy has a lot going on.
You've got a friend group.
You've got your own business and personal stuff.
Like you're juggling a lot.
So the fact that you thought of me is someone to talk to.
I was like, happy.
I wanted to support you.
It really meant a lot.
And like even now, every couple of days, I'll see something funny on the internet and I'll send it to you.
And I'm like, he-he.
And now we're following each other on Instagram?
I mean, this is a great Monday.
What's going to happen?
This is a great month.
What's going to happen next, guys?
No kiss.
No, we're not good.
I mean, that's a good place to end.
Well, if people want to reach or find you, you're obviously not hard to find, per se.
But there's your Instagram, TikTok.
You have some funny TikToks, by the way.
Yeah, I just...
You didn't block me on there either, so I could see...
I was able to get it...
I could view enough of what was going on with you for the last...
I have a Gen Z assistant who keeps me on.
But thank you for coming in today.
Yeah, more life.
It's been awesome having you on.
Seriously, I'm really proud of...
Really proud of you for giving me the opportunity to talk to you.
Because I know everybody's going to love this.
I hope so.
They are. I'm loving it.
We'll have to do a round two.
Round two.
Hopefully in the city, season two.
