Amid more reports about the violent Trende Aragua gang,
the National Border Patrol Council endorses Donald Trump
and issues a stern warning about Harris.
If we allow borders are Harris to win this election,
every city, every community in this great country is going to go to hell.
I'm Georgia Howe with Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief John Bickley.
It's Tuesday, October 15th,
And this is Morning Wire.
As Kamala Harris dramatically shifts her campaign approach, she's being accused of plagiarism.
So if you want a president with their own ideas, vote for Donald Trump.
If you want a president who copies her own ideas from Wikipedia, vote for Kamala Harris.
And a Daily Wire report raises legal questions about an influential pro-Harris social media account.

The Border Patrol Union is endorsing former President Trump and warning against keeping Kamala Harris in power.
The endorsement comes as new reports detail the alarming actions of a dangerous illegal immigrant gang.
Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce is here to talk about the latest on immigration and the campaign for the White House.
So Tim, first off, tell us about this new endorsement.
Yeah, Trump received the endorsement of the union for the entire.
U.S. Border Patrol, the National Border Patrol Council. The union chief, Paul Perez, also blasted
the Biden-Harris immigration agenda over the weekend and said Trump is the only man who can stop the
U.S. from going to hell. Here he was announcing the union's endorsement.
The untold millions of people, unvetted who she has allowed into this country that are committing
murders, rapes, robberies, burglaries, and every other crime will continue to put our country in peril.
only one man can fix that.
That is Donald J. Trump.
Trump and Republicans have leaned heavily on the immigration issue this election cycle, and for good reason.
Americans' preference for the GOP on immigration appears to be at an all-time high after
four years of unprecedented migration into the country.
Vice President Harris has made some half-hearted attempts to distance herself from the administration's
record of the border.
She's portrayed herself as tough on the border, though still pro-eastern.
amnesty, but she hasn't disowned or even suggested changes to any of Biden's border policies.
Meanwhile, even Bill Clinton admitted on the campaign trail yesterday that Georgia nursing student
Lake and Riley would likely be alive if this administration hadn't failed to properly vet migrants.
You got a case in Georgia not very long ago, didn't you?
Young woman who'd been killed by an immigrant.
Yeah, well, if they'd all been properly vetted, that probably wouldn't have happened.
A pretty remarkable admission there.
Now, in 2016, Trump famously campaigned on the slogan, Build the Wall.
What kind of messaging is he leaning on now?
Crime. Trump and his vice presidential pick, J.D. Vance, have really focused on illegal immigrant crime.
Not only have millions of people entered the country illegally, but many migrants are
themselves dangerous with criminal histories and gang ties. There was a moment on ABC over the weekend
that exemplifies the campaign's approach. It happened when Vance was on with ABC host Martha Raditz
and Raddits downplayed gang violence in Aurora, Colorado.
Here's that exchange.
The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complexes, and the mayor said our dedicated
police officers have acted on those concerns.
A handful of problems.
Only, Martha, do you hear yourself?
Only a handful of apartment complexes in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs,
and Donald Trump is the problem, and not Kamala Harris' open border.
Americans are so fed up with what's going on and they have every right to be.
And I really find this exchange, Martha, is sort of interesting because you seem to be more
focused with nitpicking everything that Donald Trump has said rather than acknowledging
that apartment complexes in the United States of America are being taken over by violent gangs.
Right. Well, that sort of exemplifies the contrast and priorities between Vance and the press.
Now, we have a little more information about that incident from the apartment.
apartment management company, what are they saying? Right, a company called CBZ management is speaking out.
This is a company that manages multiple properties in Colorado and which has had an increasingly
tense relationship with local officials, reportedly accruing thousands of dollars in fines for code
violations. That's according to the Denver Post. An ex-account for CBZ management is now publicly
detailing what it says is erroneous press coverage. According to the Post, Trend Day Aragua gang
members took over apartment buildings in Aurora, forced tenants out, installed renters of their own,
and threatened anyone who tried to interfere. The company also posted a photo of a CBZ representative
with a bloodied face after having been beaten up. Video shared by the company purports to show the
brutal attack against him. Through months of CBZ losing control of the property to what they say
are gang members, the company is accusing local officials and law enforcement of refusing to step in.
CBZ says that when it went to the federal government, it was told the situation was just
a blip on the radar because trend Aaragua problems were so widespread.
We've reached out for comment and we'll report back as we learn more.
Well, just imagine being a resident in one of those buildings. It's awful. Tim, thanks for reporting.
Good to be on.

With Donald Trump gaining in the polls,
Kamala Harris is scrambling this week
to implement a more aggressive strategy.
Here to break it all down
as Daily Wire Senior Editor Cabot Phillips,
A Cabot, so the vice president looking to retake the momentum
with some significant changes to her game plan here.
Yeah, the VP has been all over
the airwaves the past two weeks after really ignoring the press. She's now trying to redefine
her image with voters. She even agreed to sit down with Fox News as Brett Bayer tomorrow. And now she's
trying to paint Donald Trump as the candidate who is avoiding the media and campaign trail.
One must question, are they afraid that people will see that he is too weak and unstable?
Now, it's certainly worth noting. Donald Trump has held far more rallies, more interviews,
and more press conferences than Kamala Harris throughout this entire campaign.
And despite that relative uptick in interviews lately,
there are still plenty of examples of the VP avoiding the press.
And that has gotten the attention of even left-leaning outlets.
To that point, according to Mark Benioff,
the CEO of Salesforce and owner of Time magazine,
quote, despite multiple requests,
time has not been granted an interview with Kamala Harris,
unlike every other presidential candidate.
He goes on to say that they, quote,
believe in transparency, asking why is it?
the vice president engaging with the public on the same level. He later added that, quote,
in contrast, Trump talked about his policy vision with a time reporter for 90 minutes across two
interviews. Now, the vice president is also taking a new approach specifically toward black male
voters. Tell us about that. Yeah, despite expectations from Democrats that she would dominate
with black voters, black men in particular have shown record support for Donald Trump.
For example, Barack Obama won by 81 percent with black men under 45.
Biden with 53 percent. But on average, Harris is ahead by just 41%. Those numbers hold it would be the
worst performance by a Democrat with black men since 1960. So in response, Harris announced that she'll
begin hosting, quote, black men huddle up events. She's also this week rolling out a policy plan
aimed specifically at that demographic. It'll offer small business loans specifically for black
entrepreneurs, mentorship programs for black workers in high demand industries, and even a federal
health program focused on medical issues that, quote, disproportionately impact black men.
Obviously, a lot of legal questions still to be answered there. Now, the strategy shift comes amid
some serious new plagiarism allegations against the VP. What are the claims there? Right. So back in
2019, ahead of her run for Attorney General in California, Harris published a book titled Smart on Crime,
a career prosecutor's plan to make us safer. But according to a new report from Stefan Weber,
a well-known self-described plagiarism hunter, that book included numerous examples of what he calls
vicious plagiarism. Throughout the book, Harris lifts entire paragraphs from news reports,
press releases, and research papers without proper attribution or quotation marks. At other points,
she even copied long passages, almost word for word, directly from Wikipedia. The VP has yet to
respond to the story, but J.D. Vance, for his part, took to X, saying, I wrote my own book,
unlike Kamala Harris who copied hers from Wikipedia.
Now before we go, there was big election news out of Virginia this week.
What's happening there?
So for context with rising concern over illegal immigrants voting in our elections,
a number of states have undertaken efforts this year to audit their voter rolls and remove non-citizens.
One of those states was Virginia,
where Republican Governor Glenn Yonkin issued an executive order back in August,
requiring election officials to remove any voters who had filled out forms at the DMV,
indicating they were non-citizens.
Those folks were then given 14 days
to prove their citizenship.
If they did not, they were removed from the voter rolls.
But on Friday, the Biden-Harris administration
sued Virginia in an effort to block
that effort, saying it was illegal
and discriminatory. Governor Yonkin,
for his part, vowed to fight the lawsuit,
saying, quote, Virginians and Americans
will see this for exactly what it is.
A desperate attempt to attack the legitimacy
of the elections in the Commonwealth.
So we'll be watching to see if that order
is allowed to stand before the election.
I certainly can't have ineligible people voting.
Right.
Kappa, thanks for reporting.
Anytime.
A new Daily Wire report dives into the popular X account, Kamala's Wins, and finds that its creator
might be breaking federal law.
Here with Moore is one of the authors of the story, DailyWire Deputy Managing editor Tim Rice.
So Tim, first off, tell us about this account on X called Kamala's Wins.
Yeah, good morning, Georgia.
At first glance, it seems like one of the many political fan accounts out there.
Kamala's wins shares endorsements, news clips, and generally supports the Harris campaign,
and it's racked up nearly a million followers.
But the account, which began in January 22 as Biden's wins,
is actually part of a massive democratic influence operation that pushes false narratives to voters.
And its founder, Ethan Wolf, may be violating federal law by running it.
When Wolf launched the account, he was fresh out of Ohio State University
and working as deputy political director for Illinois Democrat Brad Schneider's re-election campaign.
The account quickly became a favorite among Democrats, including then White House chief of staff, Ron Clayne.
In June 2023, Wolf was hired as a communication specialist for the Commerce Department's
International Trade Administration, where he makes $94,000 a year.
So in general, a very rapid rise for a recent college grad, but it sounds like there's a potential
legal issue. What's that?
Well, if Wolf is still running the account, it would put him in violation of the Hatch Act,
a law that bars federal employees from engaging in political activity while on duty or in a federal building.
The Daily Wire couldn't reach Wolf for comment, and the Commerce Department wouldn't say whether or not Wolf was still running the account,
but simply noted that all Department of Commerce employees are subject to the Hatch Act.
But Wolf seems to have violated the Hatch Act multiple times on his personal ex-account,
sharing political content during work hours as recently as September 25th.
Now, we obviously know, though, that Ethan Wolf is a Democrat partisan.
why he was appointed to the position in the administration.
It would seem like this law is very easy to run afoul of for a lot of people, though, no?
It is.
And every administration racks up Hatch Act violations at one point or another.
But the difference is that there was wall-to-wall coverage in the legacy media whenever a Trump
administration official was even suspected of violating the act.
Meanwhile, when Biden-Harris officials like Ron Clayne, White House Press Secretary Karin Jean-Pierre,
and Health and Human Services Secretary Javier Becerra are charged with Hatt.
Act violations, it doesn't get much coverage. Of course, that's coming from the same media that
made a big deal about how the Biden-Harris administration would be different. And as Time Magazine
put it, reset, quote, the ethical norms Trump trampled as president. And what does the Harris
campaign say about the account? As of this recording, the Harris campaign has not responded to
the Daily Wires' request for comment. The campaign has said that it was not affiliated with the
account after Kamala's wins came under fire for lying about the size of one of J.D. Vance's
rallies, but it sure seems like Harris and the administration have worked closely with Wolf
from the beginning of his career. And there's evidence to suggest that before joining the
administration, Wolf engaged in some social media pay for play. Shortly after launching the
account, Biden's wins and a slew of similarly named accounts, like Clinton's wins and
Democratic wins, reposted a campaign video for Shottia Martini, a Democratic candidate for
Michigan State Representative. Two days later, Martini's campaign paid Wolf's company $2,000.
So at the very least, a lot of questions need to be answered.
Tim, thanks for reporting.
Anytime.
