President Trump stands firm with his hardline approach with Tehran.
An American adversary is apparently aiding Iran's fight against the U.S.
And an age-old conflict breaks anew between the CEOs of McDonald's and Burger King.
I'm Georgia Howe with Daily Wire Executive Editor John Bickley.
It's Friday, March 6th, and this is Evening Wire.
President Trump is standing firm on his hardline approach with Tehran.
In a truth social post today declared there will be no deal with Iran
except unconditional surrender, which he of course wrote in all caps.
He added that after the selection of a great and acceptable leader,
the U.S. and its allies would help rebuild Iran's economy,
saying the country could become bigger, better, and stronger than ever before.
Trump closed the message with a new slogan,
Make Iran great again.
The post comes after Iranian President Massoud Bessashkian claimed that some countries
have begun mediation efforts over the conflict.
The U.S. military says it sunk or destroyed more than 30 Iranian.
warships. Admiral Brad Cooper made the announcement today during a press conference in Tampa.
You may have heard the president say just a little while ago that we have sunk or destroyed
24 ships. That was true at the moment. We're now up over 30 ships. And in just the last few hours,
we hit an Iranian drone carrier ship, roughly the size of a World War II aircraft carrier.
And as we speak, it's on fire. President Trump has previously stated that one of the main objectives
of Epic Fury is total destruction of the Iranian Navy.
Four men have been arrested on suspicion of gathering intelligence on London's Jewish community
on behalf of Iran. Daily Wire Foreign Affairs reporter Cassia Akiva has more.
The Metropolitan Police Service said the suspects, one Iranian national and three dual
British Iranian citizens, were detained early Friday during counterterrorism operations in
and around North London. Authorities believe the men were conducting surveillance of specific sites
in individuals. In a statement, Commander Helen Flanagan, who was in charge of London's
counterterrorism policing, said, quote, we understand the public may be concerned, in particular
the Jewish community. And as always, I would ask them to remain vigilance and if they see or hear
anything that concerns them, then to contact us. Over night, around 50 Israeli fighter jets carried out a
major strike targeting an underground military bunker in Tehran. The complex served as a hardened
command facility used by senior Iranian leadership and military officials to coordinate operations,
even during large-scale attacks. Israeli intelligence reportedly spent years mapping the underground
structure, allowing a precision strike. Officials say the strike on the bunker is another major
step in dismantling the Iranian regime's military leadership. In response to Tehran's attacks,
the United Arab Emirates is considering freezing billions of dollars in Iranian assets held in the
country. The move could severely restrict Iran's access to foreign currency and global trade networks.
This comes at a time when its economy is already crippled. Iran launched more than 1,000 drones and
missiles toward both military and civilian targets in the UAE. Morningwire spoke to a student from
Maryland, Bryson Begg, who was on a school trip in Abu Dhabi during some of these strikes.
My friend says, hey, our flight just got suspended. And I was like, oh boy, well, I guess we're
stuck here for a few hours. I did not realize it was going to be a few days.
And then we started to get the alerts on the phone.
The phone started blowing up saying missile alert, seek shelter.
That was very scary.
And then we look out the window and we watched a missile get intercepted by, I believe, the Abu Dhabi government, watched the explosion.
And we have a few pictures of the smoke from it.
It was terrifying.
And then we contacted our parents who were also freaking out, understandably.
Bryson said he was floored by the amount of support he and his classmates received.
Everybody wanted to help, whether it was parents, our community, our parishes, everybody was praying.
I mean, we had thousands of prayers. It was really heartwarming, actually. You see in those really
dire moments, you see just the goodness of people's hearts. Australian Prime Minister Anthony
Albanese has confirmed reports that three Australian sailors were on board the U.S. submarine
that sunk an Iranian warship in international waters. The Aussies were on board the ship as part of the
a caucus program in which Australian sailors are embedded on U.S. ships for training purposes.
The revelation has sparked massive conflict within the Australian government.
While the PM has stated that the Australians were not involved in the attack,
others in his government see their presence as implicating their nation in the conflict.
An American adversary is quietly helping Iran.
Daily Wire reporters actual as the details.
Russia is providing intelligence to Iran on the location of U.S. forces,
including warships and aircraft, according to three officials.
officials who spoke to the Post. One of the Post sources said that Russia's involvement,
quote, does seem like it's a pretty comprehensive effort. The Trump administration has not
yet confirmed whether Russia has stepped into the conflict to help Iran, and the War Department
declined to comment on the issue when asked by the Daily Wire. In a statement from the White
House, Trump spokeswoman Anna Kelly did not address the Washington Post report, but said, quote,
the Iranian regime is being absolutely crushed. Russia, a close ally of Iran, has condemned the
joint U.S.-Israeli military action targeting Iranian leadership, military assets, and nuclear
infrastructure. Russian dictator Vladimir Putin said the strike that killed Iranian supreme leader
Khamenei and members of his family and inner circle was a, quote, cynical violation of all
norms of human morality and international law. This episode is sponsored by Brickhouse Nutrition.

Texas Republican Congressman Tony Gonzalez announced Thursday he will not seek re-election.
Daily Wire political contributor Tim Pierce has the story.
This follows weeks of controversy over Gonzalez's admitted affair with a congressional aide
who later died by suicide.
Gonzalez said in a statement that after, quote, deep reflection and discussions with his family,
he's decided to step away from the race while continuing to serve his district through the end of this
Congress. The decision came hours after top House Republicans, including Speaker Mike Johnson,
urged him to drop his re-election bid as the House Ethics Committee moves forward with an investigation
tied to findings from the Office of Congressional Conduct. Republican leaders say the ethics probe should
proceed quickly, while Gonzalez's choice to remain in office could be significant for the GOP's
narrow four-seat majority in the House.
President Trump is done with Tucker Carlson, declaring that the podcaster has, quote,
lost his way.
Daily Wire senior editor, Joel Niedler has the details.
Trump told ABC reporter Jonathan Carl on Thursday that Carlson was no longer MAGA and that he's
known this for, quote, a long time.
Here's Carl, recalling his conversation with Trump.
And I asked him about something Carlson told me just as the war with Iran was getting
underway.
Carlson had told me that it was absolutely disgusting.
evil. So I asked Trump about that. His words were quite pointed. He said he's not MAGA. Maga is saving
our country. Trump said, Maga is America first, and Tucker is none of those things.
Carlson has been an outspoken critic of Trump's strikes on Iran and has also claimed without evidence
that the decision to launch strikes was driven by Shabad, a Jewish outreach organization.
Trump ended his remarks by saying, quote, Tucker is really not smart enough to understand.
Trump's new DHS secretary nominee, Senator Mark Wayne Mullen, is receiving support from a surprising place.
Teamsters President Sean O'Brien said in a statement that if anyone will stand their butt up to protect America, it's the Oklahoma Republican.
This comes nearly two years after the two nearly came to blows during a Senate hearing.
The exchange went viral.
Quit the Tough Guy Act in these Senate hearings.
You know where to find me, any place, any time, cowboy.
Sir, this is a time, this is a place.
If you want to run your mouth, we can be two consenting adults,
we can finish it here.
Okay, that's fine. Perfect.
You want to do it now?
I'd love to do it right now.
Well, stand your butt up then.
You stand your butt up.
Hold on.
Oh, hold on. Stop it.
Is that your solution every problem?
No, no, sit down.
You're a United States senator.
Actively.
Okay.
Sit down, please.
A new study suggests President Trump's comments
about Tylenol and autism
may have influenced medical decisions.
researchers found that prescriptions for acetaminopin among pregnant emergency room patients
dropped 10% in the months following Trump's September warning.
The study published in The Lancet notes the findings show correlation, not causation,
and do not capture the over-the-counter purchases.
Major medical groups continue to insist that there is no proven link between Tylenol use
during pregnancy and autism.
Meanwhile, prescriptions for Luke of Orrin, a drug the Trump administration has promoted
as a potential autism treatment rose sharply among children in the same period.
And as conflicts rage around the world, a new, less consequential battle has emerged between
ancient rivals. Daily Wire Entertainment reporter Amanda Harding explains.
McDonald's and Burger King are once again locked in an age-old clash as their CEOs take to
social media to promote their new burgers. The 26th Burger War began when McDonald's CEO,
Chris Kempinski, posted a video to promote the new Big Archburger. Commentated,
or swarmed, noting the hostage tape nature of the video, as the CEO struggled to take a small
bite of the burger while attempting to do his best impression of a human being.
All right.
The moment of truth.
That is so good.
That's a big bite for a big arch.
It's distinctively McDonald's.
Only McDonald's could do this type of burger, but it also was unlike anything else on our
menu.
Burger King's CEO and confirmed human being Tom Curtis, then posted a response to the
response video, where he too ate one of Burger King's new whoppers.
Commenters noted that his experienced bite style clearly confirmed that Mr. Curtis has actually
eaten a burger before at some point in his life.
Not bad, right?
Only one thing missing.
A napkin.
