Colorado is trying to silence free speech again.
A state law forces businesses to use customers' preferred pronouns, even if they're biologically inaccurate.
With the help of Alliance defending freedom, a Christian bookstore and a sports apparel company are challenging the law,
but a court recently ruled against them.
They appealed the ruling, and with ADF's help, they'll keep fighting another attempt by Colorado to skirt the First Amendment.

When WestJet first took flight in 1996, the vibes were a bit different.
People thought denim on denim was peak fashion, inline skates were everywhere, and two out of three women rocked, the Rachel.
While those things stayed in the 90s, one thing that hasn't is that fuzzy feeling you get when WestJet welcomes you on board.
Here's to WestJetting since 96.

Caroline Leavitt is set to leave the Trump administration.
A man is arrested for carrying a wrapped baseball bat in the UK,
and the WNBA's big meeting on gender comes up empty.
I'm Daily Wire Executive Editor John Bickley with Georgia Howl.
It's Thursday, August 13th.
This is Evening Wire.
White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt will leave the administration at the end of the month.
Daily Wire contributor, Tim Pierce, has the latest.
Yesterday, President Trump said Leavitt would step back from the press podium,
but she would still be involved as an outside advisor to the president.
Levitt followed up with her own statement and said she was leaving to spend more time with her family.
She described the decision as bittersweet, but said she cannot be the best mom my two young children
deserve while devoting the constant time, energy, and attention required of the White House press
secretary.
And within hours of Trump's announcement, names were already being floated for Levitt's potential
replacement.
According to the New York Post, former New Jersey acting U.S. Attorney Alina Haba and Breitbart
Washington Bureau Chief Matthew Boyle are at the top of the list. Other contenders include
Katie Miller, who is married to White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller and White House
Communications Director Stephen Chung, among others. Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El Sayed
once said Thanksgiving should be a day for reparations. El Sayed criticized the American holiday
in a 2019 Thanksgiving post. He wrote, quote,
this country was built on the systemic annihilation of indigenous peoples whose descendants
suffer some of the highest rates of homelessness, joblessness, and mortality today.
He added, we owe so much more than thanks, time for reparations.
At some point, the post was deleted from his feed, but not before it was archived online.
El Ceyet is expected to face a close race for Senate against Republican Mike Rogers.
Notorious influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate carried around a stash of fake passport
that include one apparently inspired by a Bond villain.
Those passports are a liability now as the Tate's legal team try to convince a judge to let the pair
out of a Florida prison while they await their extradition trial.
One passport for Tristan Tate identifies him as Vladimir Scorpius, or the name of the main villain
in the Bond novel titled Scorpius.
The Tate's attorney has admitted that securing the brother's release is a tall climb.
Florida authorities jailed the Tates after they were charged with 59 counts in the UK that
included rape, sex trafficking, and child pornography.
A viral post boosted by UK political activist Tommy Robinson
appears to show a British man with a rapt baseball bat,
being assaulted by Manchester police, and then arrested.
Associate producer Garrett Van Team has the story.
The man in question was walking through a public shopping sector
when stopped by police, reportedly for brandishing a, quote, offensive weapon.
The man asked repeatedly, quote,
What have I done while trying to explain he was meeting up with friends?
The policeman then tried to physically restrain the bat wielder, who for several minutes attempted to walk away as bystanders yelled at the cop.
One even repeatedly yelled, quote, it's in the package, you idiot, referencing the clearly wrapped bat.
The cop then pulled out mace and sprayed the bat wielder in the eyes as other officers arrived via motorcycles.
Pedestrians and police began yelling back and forth with one cop shoving a man back before a Christian street preacher intervened,
again trying to advocate for the man being detained.
Finally, five or more cops dragged the man away and arrested him only to release him later without a charge.
The police stated, quote, no intent could be proven and therefore no crime was committed.
The police also tried to save face by claiming that their investigation revealed, quote,
the bat had been purchased the week prior, as if that has any bearing.
The grand jury murder indictment against the son of the famous Hollywood director Rob Reiner was unsealed this week,
and it could mean the death penalty.
The indictment alleges that Nick Reiner was lying in wait before killing his own parents last December.
An L.A. County grand jury indicted Nick Reiner back on July 20th, but that indictment remained sealed until Wednesday when he pleaded not guilty.
The 32-year-old is accused of stabbing to death his famous father and mother, Michelle Singer-Riner, a photographer, at their home in Brentwood last year.
The grand jury indictment allows prosecutors to skip the public pretrial hearing process in the state.
The allegation that he was lying in wait means that the act.
was premeditated, and if he's convicted, he could face the death penalty, though prosecutors haven't
decided yet if they'll seek it.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio had a hilarious response when asked if he subscribes to RFK Jr's diet.
Diet of red meat and fermented vegetables. This is a crazy diet. This is a diet that consists of eating
sourcrow and meat. Now, you understand, like this is not a sustainable thing. Like, you can't just
walk into a, you know. Well, he sustains it because he doesn't. Can you imagine that he does, but he has to
travel with coolers of sourcrout. I'm not going to. I'm not going to
travel the world with a cooler full of sourcrow.
It's ridiculous. I can't do it. It's not sustainable.
While Rubio avowed that he's still a supporter of Maha, his wife, Jeanette, may have accidentally
spilled some classified info, revealing the Secretary's love of Pop-Tarts.
What's he eat? Pop-Tarts.
No, I don't eat Pop-Tarts every day.
Okay, you eat sweets.
The Pop-Tart is one of the great American innovations in history of the world.
If you think about it, it comes in the beautiful foil package.
He eats all the things you should not be eating. Every single thing.
A new Daily Wire report is shedding light on how the Biden State Department pushed leftist ideology abroad.
Daily Wire reporter Zach Jewel has more.
Training materials obtained by the Daily Wire show Foreign Service language instructors were given a DEI toolkit,
teaching diplomats to discuss white privilege, systemic racism, and BLM in languages like Bengali, Urdu, and Hebrew.
One exercise asked officers to roleplay conversations about George Floyd's death, and another asked them to
press foreign colleagues on how their own governments could address racism. The Trump State Department
says it has ended the training with a spokesman saying, quote, fringe, divisive ideological dogma
has no place in foreign service training. The director of The Matrix, Lily Wachowski, formerly Andy Wachowski,
has complained that studios are unwilling to fund his all-trans movie. Associate producer Brooke Morgato has
the scoop. During a recent podcast appearance, Wachowski lamented that Hollywood is not interested in
quote, underrepresented voices and marginalized points of view.
He cited his new script titled The Hunted, in which he intends to feature a wall-to-wall
transcast.
Wachowski says that the story is, quote, a response to what is happening in the world for trans
people and a cathartic receptacle to dump all of his anger and rage in frustration.
Despite that compelling pitch, there doesn't appear to be a big audience for trans rage,
or even a woke patron willing to put the project on.
And in our continued coverage of the WNBA drama, the League has officially met to discuss the trans issue.
After weeks of vitriol and online debate, the League has put together a task force to re-evaluate eligibility requirements.
The League currently has no clear policy on trans players, but has previously made overtures that suggest biological men could be allowed to play.
The task force had their first meeting yesterday but did not come to any definitive conclusions.
They did, however, issue a statement saying they, quote, strongly denounce the bad faith
efforts to use these topics to demean and marginalize others.
All right, those are your drive home updates.
To learn more about these stories, go to Dailywire.com,
and in case you missed it earlier today, we covered some major stories,
including Democratic Socialists regrouping after a shock loss in Wisconsin,
a U.S. Marine veteran being freed after four years in a Russian prison,
and Sophie Cunningham's coach playing defense after the WMBA gets racially charged.
Thanks for tuning in.
