Foreign Affairs reporter Cassia Kiva has the latest. President Trump is floating a new name for the Strait of Hormuz, the Trump Strait. He also said the U.S. hit Iran very hard Tuesday night after Tehran attacked American forces in Jordan. Trump said the strikes destroyed, quote, all of the new equipment Iran had built along the waterway and warned, quote, we're prepared to do another one anytime we want. He added that Iran was attempting to build a rocket to drop mines in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran also claims that a U.S. strike hit a wedding party in southern Iran, but Sengom says it, quote, never targets civilians. The judge in the Charlie Kirk murder trial ruled yesterday that Tyler Robinson will stand trial on all seven charges pushed for by prosecutors. Those include one count of aggravated murder as well as other aggravated factors that put the death penalty on the table.

Judge Tony Graff's decision is a blow to Robinson's defense team who told the court that prosecutors failed to show that Kirk's shooter knowingly created a great risk of death to bystanders. But prosecutors argued that many at the event were at risk as soon as the failure. fatal bullet was fired. The Kirk family was in the courtroom yesterday and called the ruling an important step in our family's pursuit of justice. Robinson pleaded not guilty to all charges. A self-described crime junkie was arrested yesterday after police say she filmed jurors in the trial of Lindsay Clancy. Jurors reported 56-year-old Dawn Light for allegedly filming them from her car after the judge dismissed them for the day. Prosecutor Nicole Pearson said that the video recovered from her phone showed the jurors leaving the courthouse.

Light was charged with one count of intimidation of a juror, but her attorney called the arrest a complete misunderstanding. Light, her attorney said, was only trying to snap a photo of Lindsay Clancy. A judge released Light without cash, bail, and ordered her to stay away from the courthouse for the rest of the trial. Meanwhile, the jury told the judge again today that it remains deadlocked, prompting him to give them the Tuwey Rodriguez charge. That's a final instruction asking them to consider the reasonableness of all opinions

and try to one more time reach a verdict. The White House and congressional Republicans are bashing Democrats after a resolution to condemn socialism passed yesterday with next to no Democrat support. Daily Wire editor, Zach Jule, has more. The GOP-led House voted yesterday on a resolution that condemns socialism and calls for greater election security. The resolution passed with unanimous support from Republicans. Here was the final vote. On this vote, the Yeas are 220. The Nays are 192 with two voting president. The resolution is adopted.

Reporter Megan Basham has a story. Attendees at the Kentucky State Fair in Louisville looked up over the weekend to see an airplane pulling a banner that read, quote, abortion pills by mail. The banner directed viewers to Mayday Health, a New York-based nonprofit run by former Biden official, Olivia Raisner. The website directs women to specific services that covertly ship abortion pills through the male. Kentucky is one of over a dozen states where medication abortions administered through the drug Miffa Prestone are technically illegal. Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman said, quote,

it appears abortion activists are flying over Louisville advertising illegal drugs. They are breaking the law. Coleman explained that they have been investigating the mail order scheme since January, saying, quote, we will not tolerate this illegal danger. There are certain phone calls. Associate producer Garrett Van Team has the story. Thomas Paucan II, who wrote for a Chinese state outlet, admitted he spent years taking direction from an intelligence officer known to him as Kathy. These directives included recruiting sources inside the U.S.,

distributing spyware and reporting back to China. Prosecutors said he was paid six figures for his work, and the Justice Department said the journalist, quote, betrayed his country for money. He was arrested in an FBI sting in February at a Washington, D.C. hotel, where he was attempting to recruit a U.S. government employee. American golf legend Tiger Woods will be off the road for the next five years after he reached a plea agreement with prosecutors.

Woods previously pleaded not guilty to DUI charges, stemming from the March incident in which he flipped his car after swerving over the median while under the influence. The 50-year-old announced the new plea agreement today with his wife, Vanessa Trump. That dropped the DUI charges in favor of pleading guilty to reckless driving and refusing a sobriety test, resulting in a small fine and a suspended license. The judge warned the six-time PGA champion that getting behind the wheel again could land him in jail, given this is Wood's second major alcohol-involved accident. Uber is set to lay off 10% of its staff in the biggest cuts since COVID,

apparently as a direct reaction to the influx of robotaxies. Lifestyle reporter Lauren Baer has more. Uber will lay off about 3,300 employees or 10% of its workforce in its largest round of cuts since the COVID-19 pandemic, as the company restructures to compete with the growing threat of robotaxies. CEO Dara Khazarsahi said the layoffs will flatten management and reduce organizational complexity, generating savings that Uber plans to, quote, reinvesting growth, innovation, and the capabilities that will matter most over the coming years.

The company is also cutting employees seven or more reporting layers below the CEO by 20%, limiting fully remote positions to about 1% of its workforce, and investing more than $10 billion in robotexies, as competitors, including Waymo and Tesla, expand their driverless fleets. mob of 500 teens took over a shopping complex in Aurora, Colorado on Sunday. The teens had gathered for an unpermitted sporting event before being dispersed by 70 police officers. Rather than leaving, though, the teens rushed into local businesses, like a nearby Burger King where they packed in so tightly they were shoulder to shoulder. Some teens took to singing and dancing on the tables.

No arrests were made, though Aurora PD did say that property damage was reported as well as other criminal activity. And in Staten Island, a man was struck by lightning right outside his house. Thomas Fami was just leaving to walk to a dentist appointment when a bolt of lightning struck him in the foot. The electrifying incident was caught on his doorbell camera showing the flash of light, Fami falling to the ground, and then about a minute later, standing up and walking back inside. Fami described the shock saying, quote, the initial sensations that I had throughout my whole body were like completely unprecedented, tingling, numbness, pain, just this burning sensation.

Fami then went to the hospital where he spent the night, but thankfully did not suffer any burns or permanent scars. Fami professed that he went to church that same Sunday to, quote, say thank you to God, and afterwards, he bought a mega-million's lottery ticket. Sounds about right there.
