During a hearing on worldwide threats today, FBI director Chris Ray told the Senate's Homeland Security
Committee that the Hamas attacks on Israel could motivate similar threats here in the U.S.

Ray also called out Iran as a rising threat, referring to the country as the world's largest state sponsor of terrorism.

mounted assassination attempts against dissidents and high-ranking current and former U.S.
government officials, including right here on American soil.
