The National Hurricane Center warns of an extremely life-threatening storm surge as Hurricane Milton approaches Florida's west central coast. State officials have issued stark warnings to residents who choose not to evacuate.

The storm, which is expected to make landfall late tonight or early tomorrow, is forecasted to bring up to 18 inches of rainfall, risking catastrophic flooding as the state continues to pick up the pieces from Hurricane Helene. Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody issued a stark warning to residents in evacuation zones, saying if you stay, you may need to write your name on your arm so people can identify you later. An Afghan citizen living in Oklahoma has been charged with plotting an election day terror attack, aiming to carry out the assault in the name of ISIS. According to the DOJ, the 27-year-old allegedly obtained weapons and trained for the attack, intending to die as a martyr alongside a juvenile co-conspirator. The suspect entered the U.S. in 2021 on a special immigrant visa and was arrested Monday
Starting point is 00:01:44 and now faces up to 35 years in prison. Israel is moving forward with its air and ground campaign against Lebanon-based terror group Hezbollah. Daily Wire reporter Amanda Prestazakamo has more. The latest exchanges of fire come days after Israel marked the anniversary of of Hamas's October 7th massacre and as Israeli leaders planned their response to last week's Iranian missile attack. President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke today ahead of Israel's cabinet vote to decide how to respond to Iran. The conversation was expected to focus directly on the looming Israeli counterattack with Biden opposing strikes on Iran's

Trump congratulated the Prime Minister on the determined and powerful actions Israel carried out against Hezbollah. As Israel prepares for its direct attack on Iran, Tehran has warned that any strike from the Jewish state could result in a retaliatory attack against civilians. While the Harris campaign continues its media blitz, Trump's campaign is focusing on battleground states while also throwing some famously blue state visits into the mix. Vice President Kamala Harris's plan to expand Medicare to cover in-home care for seniors is facing a wall of criticism due to its projected cost. Economists tell the New York Post the program could run tens of billions more than Harris's estimated $40 billion. They also say it could add to inflation and the federal deficit. While Harris claims the plan will be funded by cutting drug costs and addressing Medicare fraud, critics argue it relies. too heavily on immigration for care workers and may strain public finances.
Starting point is 00:05:06 The Colorado Supreme Court has dismissed a lawsuit against Christian Baker Jack Phillips. The case involved Phillips' refusal to bake a cake for a trans-identifying man by the name of Autumn Scardina celebrating his transition. The court's decision didn't address the broader dispute between anti-discrimination protections and First Amendment rights. Instead, the court opted for a procedural ruling stating Scardina hadn't exhausted all legal options before suing. Regardless, lawyers representing Phillips say it's a huge win. We were thrilled because this is the end of 12 years of Jack being dragged through the court. So to have the court say that this final case is over, it brings a lot of joy to Jack and his

So far, the film, is raked in $11.9 million.
