This week, Republican Representative Jeff Duncan introduced a measure that would require that the U.S. flag is the only flag flown at U.S. embassies in additional consular places.
The Ham Tramp City Council, a town heavily populated with Muslim Americans located near Detroit, Michigan, approved the practice of animal sacrifice in homes for religious reasons.
They voted three to two on Tuesday.
In December, the city initially voted to ban the practice, but reversed course on the grounds of religious freedom.
Marketing Group Code Words has decided to bring in new talent in the form of artificial intelligence interns.
The AI interns gave themselves names, Aidan and Ico, and created a digital human-like appearance for themselves.
Inner Cosmos, a neurototechnology company, revealed a new device to treat depression this week.
According to founder Marin Gribitz, the tiny implant is placed outside the skull and functions like a, quote, digital pill for the mind.
Archaeologists say they believe they've located the temple of Poseidon near Samakhan, Greece.
The location of the temple has been the site of multiple tsunamis in the past
and appears to correspond with 2,000-year-old descriptions from ancient Greek historian Strabo.
6.3 million viewers tuned in for this year's Golden Globe Awards,
representing the lowest number in several years and a 26% decrease in ratings from 2021.
Rivals Novak Djokovic and Raphael Nadal were placed on
opposite halves of the Australian Open bracket in the draw Thursday, meaning the only chance for the
two former champs to meet would be in the final at Melbourne Park. Jokovic, a nine-time champion in

2022's global average temperature was 58.55 degrees, or 14.76 degrees Celsius, ranking 6th hottest on record.
NOAA doesn't include the polar regions because of data concerns, but will soon.
The IRS has extended the tax deadline for California residents until May 15th due to the flooding they are
experiencing now.
The extension will be automatically given to anyone who resides in a disaster area.
Disgraced FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried said he didn't steal funds and didn't stash billions away.
Freed made the statements in his substack blog on Thursday.
