With the final sprint to election day on, polling continues to show Donald Trump gaining ground with black voters. Here discusses Daily Wire's senior editor Cabot Phillips A Cabot.

So this is an important potentially election deciding trend that you've been tracking for months now. Walk us through these numbers. So in the last five presidential cycles, Democrats have dominated among black voters, winning around 90% of their vote. In 2020, for example, Biden won about 88%. But in the last year, polling has showed Donald Trump gaining significant ground with the demographic. For example, the latest round of numbers from the New York Times has Harris at just 78%.

That would be the worst performance among a Democrat in modern political history. Another poll from Fox had her at just 67%. And Trump at a staggering 29%. Right. He's clearly gaining over the last couple of weeks in particular. Now, you recently spent the day with black voters in Georgia to hear their take on this election. Tell us about that. Yeah, Georgia has more black voters than any other battleground. They comprise about a third of the electorate there.

So even an incremental shift toward Trump would be massively consequential. To that point, a new poll this week from the Atlanta Journal Constitution found Harris with 73% support among black voters. So to hear from some of those voters firsthand, I went to Clayton County, Georgia, which has the highest concentration of black voters in the state. state. I spent all afternoon outside grocery stores talking to black voters, and the majority said they're supporting Trump. Have a listen to a few of those conversations. They want to make this a race war. It's not, we got to get past that. If you start your own business, Trump is the man for you. But if you want to live off the government, then that would be definitely probably become on it. But I'm not trying to live off the government. That's why I started my own small little business.

The country has been ran horribly the past four years. When Trump was in office, Things were a lot better. The economy was better. She's consistently flip-flopping on topics and policies. One day she stands for one thing. The next day, she stands for something totally different. You know, Trump, he has a strong personality, but I believe that he's more genuine in the things that he says

because he sticks by what he says. Even though he says, like, sarcastic things, I feel like his views on, like, protecting the border are on point. That's just something I agree with. And then his capitalistic ways, I know capitalism isn't everybody's favorite, but I think it's good. I like Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, of course, but they haven't been doing a good job. When Trump was in power, he was doing a much better job with the economy and dealing with

foreign affairs and there was no wars. Everybody was making money. The economy's been going down and people losing their jobs for other people that are coming in the country. Now, here's one thing that really stuck out. Nearly everyone who said the economy was their top concern, they were for Trump. But the majority of those voting for Harris said it was because of abortion or because they thought Trump was a racist. With so much going on with the abortion law, even though I am pro-life, but it's your body, you do what you want to do. And I don't want nobody else telling me what I can and cannot do with my body.

That's my personal choice. It's the inclusiveness of her campaign. I see her as the good candidate. When it comes to Hamila and Trump, I just feel like Trump is more against immigrants. This is just going off a base of what I hear generally like on the news and ads campaigns and stuff like that. Now, I've talked to thousands of voters since the 2016 election. And in the past, the vast majority of those not voting for Trump just really despised him. But it was interesting to see this time how many Harris voters still had positive things to say about Trump.

He actually had some views. kind of like, I don't like the transgender things that's going on with the men, competing in women's sports. So I kind of like him, but I don't. I also think Trump has some good points, too. He could run America real good as a business, honestly. I could see that. And he's unapologetically him.

I mean, you can't help but respect that. So now the big question becomes whether this apparent shift within the black community actually comes to fruition on Election Day. Again, text wire to 989898 today. New leaked documents show that a content moderation group with ties to the Harris campaign and the British government pledged to, quote, kill Musk's Twitter. Critics say this could amount to foreign interference in our election. Daily Wire culture reporter Megan Basham is here now to explain. So, Megan, what is this group and what did their leaked documents reveal?

So the group is called the Center for Countering Digital Hate. and it's a nonprofit that bills itself as a disinformation and anti-hate speech watchdog group. And it was founded by a British man named Morgan McSweeney. Now, he's a well-established political operative in the UK. He served as campaign manager for the left-wing labor party, and is now chief of staff for Britain's new prime minister, Keir Starrmer, who is, of course, a member of the Labor Party. And in this presidential election cycle,

he's been openly advising the Kamala Herrienne, campaign. Now, this bombshell report about the Center for Countering Digital Hate comes from independent journalists Matt Tybee and Paul Thacker, both pretty well-respected, award-winning journalists who are known for covering censorship issues in the past. Well, some whistleblowers gave them internal records that show that the center's top priority for the year was listed simply as Kill Musk's Twitter. And the way they planned to do that was through pressuring advertisers to break ties with Twitter and by quoting from their documents, triggering EU and UK regulations.

And this didn't just show up in one document. It was listed as the number one annual goal on this group's agenda for months. And the records also showed that the center had meetings with Democrats like Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar, who has introduced bills to regulate social media misinformation or alleged misinformation. They also had meetings with staffers from the White House,

House, Congressman Adam Schiff's office and the State Department. And they pushed for new U.S. legislation that would have been pretty similar to the EU's Digital Services Act, which bans, again, so-called misinformation and hate speech. They called for creating an independent digital regulator that could impose consequences for negative content. And how did they specifically target Twitter's advertisers? According to Taibi and Thacker, the center has a history of successfully moving against conservative outlets like the Federalist, for example, for boycotts. So the journalists write that it's a formula that has often involved collaborating with a mainstream media outlet to level an accusation of bigotry, followed by a pressure campaign against

advertisers to shut off revenue to the target. And basically the same thing played out with Twitter. Shortly after Musk took over and began changing the content moderation rules to allow for more free speech, the center released a report called toxic, toxic Twitter. And it alleged that Musk was reinstating the accounts of neo-Nazis, white supremacists, misogynist, and quoting, spreaders of dangerous conspiracy theories. Now, that report was highly publicized throughout the legacy media by outlets like NBC. And Musk said that it manipulated data to disrupt his platform's relationship with advertisers. So is there evidence that the Labor Party itself is becoming involved in our election? Yeah, there is. And I will say it's not,

exactly a secret. So the Trump campaign had already filed a complaint on Monday about members of the Labor Party telling the media that they're working with the Harris campaign. Trump's team also pointed to a LinkedIn post from Labor Party head of operations Sophia Patel that said nearly 100 current and former party members are working in swing states in the U.S., of course, to help Harris get elected. Now, she later deleted that post, but the Labor Party members volunteering with the Harris campaign say they're not doing anything wrong. Nigel Farage, however, the conservative member of British Parliament has condemned it as direct election interference. Well, it's completely unclear to me how this is not a foreign nation colluding with a U.S. political party. Supposedly,

that was a really big deal just a few years ago. Megan, thanks for reporting. Anytime. Vice President Kamala Harris has promised to alleviate the housing shortage with three million new homes, but can't she pull it off? Here to talk about the Harris plan to address. address the housing crunch is Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce. So Tim, you dug into the details of Harris's new housing plan. What's in it? Hey, Georgia. The Harris plan is to build 3 million new housing units over four years. That would be a 50% increase over the current pace that homes are being built at right now. To do that, she wants to extend a federal tax credit for subsidized housing and create new credits for developers to build starter homes and for families to refurbish old ones.

She also wants to give $25,000 to first-time homebuyers. And what do economists say? Well, economists have their doubts. They say the $25,000 to first-time homebuyers will actually inflate the cost of homes and make the U.S. housing crunch even worse. But putting the predictions aside, Harris does have a record we can look at from this administration. In 2021, President Biden put Harris in charge the $42 billion program, the broadband equity access and deployment or bead program. It was supposed to build broadband infrastructure and expand high-speed internet access to millions of Americans living in rural areas. So $42 billion, where does it stand right now?

It's completely stalled. The program has yet to provide internet access to a single person or business. After the delays, no actual construction is expected to begin now until next year. Morning Wire interviewed current FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr to find out why. There's no question that this plan being run by Vice President Harris has. gone off the rails, and the causes are a couplefold. One, the administration in implementing the law passed by Congress has decided to layer in a whole progressive wish list of liberal policy ideas that have absolutely nothing to do with just connecting people. So for instance, they've taken

time over these past 1,000-plus days to adopt DEI requirements. They've inserted a climate change agenda. They've added in price controls. They have preferences for government-run networks over private sector one. So in other words, they've been using this $42 billion initiative rather than just connecting people to hand out wins to their favored constituencies. Carr went on to say that the B-D program has also suffered from a lack of general competence of how it has been administered. There's just dysfunction throughout the program. So for instance, there was reporting recently from Politico that talked to several insiders working on this program, either at the federal level or the state level, and they just talk about dysfunction, finger pointing, a blame game. So just purely

from an actual competency of government in implementing this initiative. With Vice President Harris at the helm, there's been just a lot of dysfunction. Now, it's worth pointing out that the BED program wasn't the only way of going about connecting rural families to high-speed internet. In 2020, Elon Musk's Starlink Company was awarded $885 million to connect about $640,000 rural homes and businesses to the Internet through satellite. In 2023, the FCC voted along party lines to cancel that grant. Here's what Carr said happened. Last year, the FCC, the commission itself, voted to revoke that award. And I dissented because, as I explained at the time, that wasn't a decision that could be explained by any sort of objective application of the fact.

the law or sound policy, it looked to me to be just purely regulatory lawfare against Elon Musk. So to wrap up, if Harris's record on broadband is any indication, her plan to expand housing may not be as clear cut as the campaign would like it to appear.
