The Stormy Daniels Hush Money case took a dramatic turn Monday when Robert Costello testified for two hours,
burying the prosecution star witness and Trump's former fixer Michael Cohen.
Costello Cohen's former legal advisor told the panel Cohen is a convicted liar and not trustworthy.
The grand jury is expected to reconvene Wednesday to continue weighing whether or not to indict Trump,
but it was not known if any more witnesses will testify.
Trump denies any wrongdoing and his legal team is confident he will be acquitted if the case ever goes to trial.
Russia says that one of its fighter jets intercepted two U.S. B-52 bombers over the Baltic Sea on Monday,
a potential provocation that comes just days after Russian planes forced a U.S. drone into the Black Sea.
Here with more's Daily Wire reporter, Tim Pierce.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, a Russian SU-35 was scrambled toward the U.S. planes,
which were headed toward Russia, but it returned to its base when the B-52s turned away.
The statement was accompanied by footage the ministry said was shot from the Russian planes' cockpit
that appeared to show one of the two American jets.
The incident came as Chinese President Xi Jinping was in Moscow for talks with Russian
President Vladimir Putin aimed at ending the Russian Ukraine war. It also followed two Russian nuclear
bombers flying over the sea of Japan for several hours, just as Japanese Prime Minister Fumio
Kashita was visiting Ukraine. President Biden announced this week that he will be declassifying
some intelligence related to the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic, just days after Congress unanimously
passed legislation forcing the issue. Daily Wires, Tim Meads has more.
Biden signed Republican Senator Josh Hawley's COVID-19.
Origin Act of 2023 into law on Monday, saying that he shares Congress's goal of releasing,
quote, as much information as possible about the origin of the virus. However, the president
added that he may have portions of the intelligence redacted for the purpose of protecting
U.S. national security. Holly called the move a huge victory for transparency, adding that
it's now time for accountability. It's unclear when the origins report will be released.
The UN released its new IPCC climate summary report on Monday, which incorporates studies conducted over the last six years and sounds the alarm over climate change.
The report details a rapidly closing window of opportunity for a, quote, sustainable future for all.
The panel claims that by 2030, greenhouse gas emissions would need to be cut nearly in half to limit warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius.
That's a key goal of the Paris Climate Agreement.
The National Association of Realtors announced today that year-over-year home prices have dropped for the first time in a decade.
The median price of an American home was lower in February of 2023 than it was in February of 2022, according to the data.
As prices dropped, housing sales increased from January into February, but they're still down year-over-year.
And public school classes in Los Angeles were canceled last minute today due to a school worker union strike.
The union represents about 30,000 school custodians, cafeteria workers, bus drivers, and other school support staff.
Even though this is a school worker strike rather than a teacher strike, L.A.'s major teachers union, United Teachers Los Angeles, joined in.
That forced the school district to abruptly cancel classes this morning.
Here's the union president talking about negotiations.
The only thing that will stop it is a 30% plus $2 equity paid wage increase in order to, um, to, um, to
