It's Monday, November 14th, and this is your Morning Wire afternoon update.
President Biden met with Chinese communist leader Xi Jinping on Monday in Indonesia.
According to a White House readout from the meeting, the two did not discuss COVID-19 nor the opioid epidemic.
Her press remarks, Biden claimed that he does not believe China will invade Taiwan anytime soon,
stressing China and the United States mutual understanding.
absolutely believe there's need not be a new Cold War. We, I've met many times with Xi Jinping,
and we were candid and clear with one another across the board. And I do not think there's any
imminent attempt on the part of China to invade Taiwan. And I made it clear that our policy in
Taiwan has not changed at all. I made it clear that we want to see cross-trade issues peacefully
resolved. The Biden administration is now offering abortion access to migrant.
youth, including transportation from states with abortion restrictions to other states where the

After teasing it for nearly two years, former President Trump is expected to announce his
official bid for re-election on Tuesday from Mar-Lago. The announcement comes as party officials
and elected representatives are attempting to prepare for the next election. In reaction to the
News, GOP Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton stressed that Trump is not the only leader of the Republican
Party.
When any party is out of power as Republicans are now, we don't have a single leader.
The former president is obviously very popular with many of our voters, but we also have
important other leaders as well, like some of those victors I just mentioned earlier, like
Brian Kemp in Georgia, Ron DeSantis, in Florida.
The United States men's soccer team altered their USA logo to include Rainbow
colors ahead of their first World Cup game in Qatar. The move is meant to show support for the

Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, is planning to donate most of his fortune to charity,
in his lifetime. His net worth is $124 billion. He told CNN that he will give most of his money
in efforts to combat climate change and help those who can bring people together. The tech
giant made the announcement after giving country legend Dolly Parton this year's Bezos Courage and
Civility Award and $100 million to be used towards charities of her choice. In 1988,
Parton established the Dollywood Foundation and has since given away hundreds of millions in
charity around the globe, focusing especially on education and literacy efforts.
Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin has filed a lawsuit against some former crew members of the movie Rust
where a shooting incident resulted in the death of cinematographer Helena Hutchins last year.
The 64-year-old actor seeks to clear his name new court documents filed in Los Angeles, say,
as he claims to have suffered loss of status and income after the prop gun he was holding discharged and killed Hutchins in October 2021.
A former football player and alleged gunman was taken into custody after a manhunt following a shooting at the University of
Virginia on Sunday. Three current football players were killed, and at least two were wounded.
Students were told to shelter in place or run hide fight. And the University of Idaho canceled
